PURCHASED A 2016 KIA SOUL. WAS NEVER PROVIDED A CAR FAX OR AS THEY SAY CAR CHECK? THE VEHICHLE WAS IN A HEAD IN COLLISION. Took my car in for oil change and transmission fluid change, was told last time I was in for oil change transmission would cost about $90 to flush and fill. The girl who didn't really help me charged me $149 and it took 3 hours. I was originally told 1 to 1.5 hours. She didn't tell me why it took so long and why I had to pay so much. I wont go in again unless Mike is working in service.

I took my car in one day to see if they could fix my automatic seat adjustment for the drivers side. I figured based upon reading several troubleshooting tips that it was a relay issue in the trunk. The mechanic apparently didnt even look at the relay, but convinced me to pay him $45 to take the door panel off and switch out another common bad part. Guess what, turns out that it wasnt that part, but the motor was going bad under the seat. I find that hard to believe seeing as the seat still works occasionally. So while being robbed of $45, two days later, my remote locking doesnt work. And I cant open my trunk. I took it down immediately and had the same guy take a look, fiddling with the trunk lock for about 30 minutes. He told me to come back the next day because he had too much work, and he want getting paid a dime from me to look at my issue. So I did. The next morning, I left my car there at about 8am telling the front desk gentleman to call me for an estimate once the mechanic looked at it. I called at noon to see if it was ready because I hadn't gotten that call. Thanks. Still being worked on apparently. I finally got a call around 2:30 and they told me that he didn't know how to open the trunk. Told me I could cut a hole in the backseat! Lies. They refused to do the work because they knew they weren't getting paid. I came to pick up the car. All I needed was the key and one of the employees looked at me like I was an idiot, completely ignoring my presence. Someone else got me the keys, and I got in my car, only to find dirt on the floor, upholstery and the seat adjustments were all messed up. I thought these guys were good up until now. Very disappointed. Be weary.

At my last oils change I complained that my tansmission was shifting hard. Service manager Mike told me to hold off until my next oil change and the transmission servie would be included in the work. Today I took my car in after making an appointment to get an oil change and have the transmission service done. Different service manager on duty. When it was time to pick up my car I was told the charge would be $143.23. My oil change was free but the transmission work was not covered, when I was told it would be on my last visit. I told him that is not what I was told. He said he checked and they said it was not covered because it was maintence. Humm when I had a problem it probably would have been covered. Oh they did knock $29.95 off my bill, how generous. I should not have had to pay anything. It was their managers mistake but I had to pay $113.28. Poor customer service, poor management. I will not be taking my car back to Lima Rd Preferred Auto for sure.

I have been taking 2 of our vehicles there is year & have been very impressed with their oil changes & all their checks & car wash & vacuuming that is all included! Mike Adams is the main service scheduler & he is very prompt when I was scheduling from my workplace but I am continuing to take the vehicles to Preferred Auto even though I no longer work at the same place where the oil changes were initiated through the workplace concierge. I just can't say enough about their thoroughness & trustworthiness since I drive 70 miles round trip to my workplace! Thanks again.

They always take my van in at the appointed time and have it ready when promised. If an unexpected problem is discovered, the service manager explains it thoroughly along with options to correct it. The shop is clean and neat, and my invoice always lists the name of the mechanic who worked on my vehicle.

This particular Preferred Auto Service Department (I'm sure the others are good as well) has provided great service to me. This location is near my place of employment. I can drop any of my three Chevy Silverados off at a drop of a hat without a huff, frown or gasp of air from the Service Writter/Manager/Assistant. They will take me to my work and then drop the truck off after it is done. I can pay over the phone, VERY convenient. They always tell me if I need to have attention paid to anything with the truck (ie: tires, brakes, etc).

I would like to say that I normally LOVE them- Mike Adams- GREAT. Brian- NOT. It took over a week to even get a loner vehicle and the loner was given to me on empty. He told me he would call me in the morning each day and I would have to call him after not recieving a call before 1:00 PM. When it was finally repaired, he had not addressed one of the issues I had brought my car in for. So, if you go to Lima's Preferred Auto in the future, make sure you only deal with Mike if you want any attention AT ALL.
