My experience at Preferred Autos was excellent. Pat is a friendly, honest, no BS owner and salesperson. No sales tactics or up-selling he is super laidback. He went to extraordinary lengths to get my Honda Element serviced and updated so it was ready for the road and reserved the vehicle for me when he had a long list of prospective buyers. Was communicative throughout the whole process. I love the car and I'm glad I went to Preferred. Would definitely buy another car from the dealership and you should too, they have a great inventory of quality used cars.

I enthusiastically recommend Preferred Autos LLC. When I began looking for a great used car at a price I could afford, I was anxious. Working for a non-profit, I have to be mindful of the return I'll get for large purchases. I had a very specific make, model in mind, wanting under 100,000 miles on the odometer. After several wasted trips around town, I found a car that looked promising on the cars.com site. When I inquired about availability, I was responded to promptly and scheduled a time to go see the car. When I arrived at Preferred Auto, it was front and center as I pulled into the lot. The sales rep, Adil, expected my visit, greeting me in the parking lot. He was pleasant and professional, giving me information without a lot of pressure. The car in question was a 2006, but looked much newer. The interior was immaculate as was everything under the hood. While some of the credit goes to good maintenance from previous owners, I appreciated that this car had been detailed before my visit. At several other dealerships I visited, used cars under a certain price point were sorely neglected. Not so at Preferred Auto. In addition, the customer service I received was excellent. Staff disclosed the car was in need of new tires, assuring me they would be replaced if I chose to purchase the car. I was able to take the car to my mechanic the same day. Aside from a few minor fixes, I was given two thumbs up from him. Upon mentioning the fixes to the Preferred team, they offered to take care of them, saying I would be able to pick it up in a day. "Sure..." I thought with some skepticism. I was pleasantly surprised when I received the next day call saying it was ready for pick-up. What else can say? I love my new used car. It gets great gas mileage, is comfortable, quiet, and rides like a dream. Thanks Preferred!

These guys were great. I came in several times on the same van. They had just got it in, but they expedited getting it cleaned up and serviced. worked out the deal quickly, and were always so respectful. I am a disabled veteran, and they went out of their way to accommodate me. We had been looking for one for a while. Pat even offered to meet me after hours so my wife could see it. All the other employees were very professional and kind. I would highly recommend them and will definitely refer all my friends btw, Lonnie, one of their employees was great too

They said they are always careful about that and just wanted to say thanks. My 16 year old was hit almost head on in her Veloster by a Civic, and although her car was totaled, she walked away. I specifically asked the owner and mechanic to check this vehicle for under body rust and to give the car a good going over since I buying it online without seeing it. I was assured that other than some body scratches that this car was in great shape. Since May we had to replace a big part of the exhaust system due to rust. the electric locks on the car do not function which should have been noted from the beginning. We have just put a new transmission in. The transmission fluid showed metal shavings and is now being replaced as it will not move while in reverse. Yes it is a used car with no warranty but i trusted that it would be checked out before it was shipped to me .

After visiting several dealers over several days, we came across Preferred. We were looking a first car for our daughter. Pat was extremely professional and helpful. He surprised me when we picked out one car and he said no. He didn't want to put a teen in that car??? Too fast and high insurance on a teen. He didn't push anything on us but made several recommendations. We settled on a great used Volvo that had a great safety record and was in our range. Thanks Pat for your honesty and integrity. I was looking for a used car in a good condition for a reasonable price and it turned out I've found a right place. Emailed questions about a 2006 Cobalt SS. The pictures were not the greatest and it looked like the hood was covered with dents and a scratch on the rear bumper. When I asked if there were dents in the hood I was told " I don't know, why don't you come and look" ? I responded that it was a 4+ hour drive and was told "I'm not sure". Surely a 2 minute walk into the lot to answer my question was better than a 9 hour round trip for me to find out. When my stepson called about the car the response was that it was a "great car and was ready to go". When I emailed again for more info I was told that it was in their shop with a throttle body issue. When my stepson called again and asked if it was fixed the salesman said " I didn't know it was in for repairs, can you call back in a couple days?" NOT GOING TO HAPPEN

Visited this dealer for the first time and was amazed at the low key, no pressure atmosphere on the lot. My bank never got any paperwork from the dealer even though I was told it was sent. With that being said, when I asked about the loan the dealership said the bank wouldn't finance it. Not sure how they wouldn't finance something they never got paperwork for. So disappointed because the car was amazing. Great cars, horrible customer service.

I always buy Subaru. When I was ready to buy a relatively low cost Subaru so I could have a second car, I did my research on very specific features, with a specific mileage point in mind. That said, I found what I was looking for at Preferred Auto and after researching prices for a month or more, I knew they listed a price that was spot on if not a bit lower for the make/model/mileage Subaru I wanted. Once I saw the car, and drove it - I was ready to buy and they didn't have to do much to convince me. I agree with what other people have mentioned, they don't really deal. I asked for new front brake pads, and they put them on. I needed some special consideration because it was a Saturday. My bank was closed, so they agreed to a deposit/wire transfer. I had to drive my car home two hours and come back to get the vehicle, and they worked with me on all the arrangements. They even gave me the wireless key so I could pick my car up after hours.Buying a car requires diligence and it's important to understand the market before you make a decision. One more tip - if you buy used, consider Subura, they hold up well and once you go AWD, you won't go back. I LOVE MY NEW SUBARU!

Our salesman Drew was great. Young guy no pressure, didn't over sale or give us some load of how great all the cars were. However, the sales manager will not work with you. No discount for a broken cd player or interior lights that did not work, and a 3% sur-charge for using a bank card. As a business owner that is to high for a surcharge, my credit card broker only charges me 1.5% for customer transactions, so is this manager missing the boat or just making money on unsuspected customers? In addition, we were the only ones there that evening and never got a hello as he walked by. Without Drew I would give a 2 star for customer service. Okay with that said they did have some fairly priced vehicles which is why we went there to begin with and did buy an Acura TL at a fair price. Would say it was fairly clean, I did have to wipe down the interior which I did not have to do when I bought a truck from Kings Auto Mall but Preferred had better prices this time so I can handle that trade off. Kings customer service was amazing though! Look around but if you find something here don't plan on any negotiation and pay with a check and bring you Armor All cleaner.

My Husband called to inquire about a car and spoke to "Drew" We told Drew that we lived just under 3 hours away and were extremely interested in the car, Drew told that there was absolutely nothing wrong with it and that it was a great car. We asked for additional pictures and Drew's response was if we had looked at the ones online already? We were then advised he couldn't get any more pics of under the hood as everything was to close together, but reassured us that they car was in great condition and had no mechanical defects. We asked the dates of the last oil change and when/if the belts were changed. He sounded more annoyed and not confident. We arrived to the dealership that afternoon. We looked at the car, waited a few minutes and a gentleman came out to help us, whom I didn't get the name of. He was young and Asian. The FIRST thing he told us was that this car had transmission issues. I appreciate his honesty but REALLY upset that 6 hours of my day were wasted on my first real vacation in 2.5 years. So my recommendation is you feel compelled to buy from here, don't buy from Drew and don't call about a car because can't get correct info.

Thank god I only live about a mile away from this place because if I drove out of my way to visit, I would have been highly upset. Dealer acted like he had no interest in selling us a car. The car was dirty, and had a few dents and scratches on it, along with a few mechanical problems. Which would have been fine if the dealer was willing to take a few hundred off of the asking price....... he wasn't. At all. In fact, most of the cars there were in poor condition with ridiculously high asking prices. Lots of room for improvement, and it's a true shame that this dealership is the way it is.

Online pictures didn't point out the amount of damage the cars had. Wasted time to go see. Very dirty, they knew i was coming to look at car and it had garbage in it still. Made an offer anyway, salesman wouldn't even play ball! Way too many problems with the cars requiring more repairs that when added to sales price made the car unfeasible to purchase. Went 12 miles up the road to Kings Automall, got the exact same car with more options with 30k thousand miles less, with NO damage for only $1000 more than the price these guys wouldn't budge from. Glorified Buy here Pay here lot. Buyer beware!

Went to check out two toyota matrix's that we found on their website. When we walked in the guy looked at us like we had two heads and never did say Can I help You . I had to speak first. Got in the first Toyota matrix for a test drive ,(the other was not on the lot because it was being serviced). The car started up but immediately started shimmying like it was going to stall. The salesman looked under the hood & said one cylinder was misfiring. The gas tank was on E which is not good when people are going for a test drive. He had us follow him down the street to look at the other matrix but the mechanic had the keys so we couldn't even listen to the engine. The salesman just kept apologizing and seemed distracted and not interested in making a sale. These two cars should not have been listed on the website for sale until they were ready to sell. When we asked how long they were on the lot he said 5 weeks. I would think after five weeks these minor repairs would have been fixed!! They are losing sales by not having cars available for immediate sale. They should stop listing them on their site until they are ready to sell!!!!

Drove two hours to see a few cars they had on their website that were in our price range. No one would come out to help us - had to go inside to find a salesman. When I asked about two of the cars on our list, he said they were out being serviced. There were other cars we wanted to see, but he would not talk to us or ask us what we were interested in, he said "well, there're all for sale". He was a total jerk. Even after I told him we were serious buyers he would not speak to us or even come around us. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. We took our cash money to King's Toyota where we got excellent service on a dependable car. If anyone from Preferred Autos reads this, you will remember me because you threw me off your lot for telling you know what I think!

Let me start from saying that my new car ROCKS!!! I was shopping for a new car for myself for about two months, I am very-very picky. I got so tired in this two moths dealing with all different dealers, something always was wrong or dealers attitude was poor or price too high or price was great but condition of vehicle horrible. And finally I found preferred autos, they had everything I was looking for. Costumer service was great, inventory great and best of all prices were amazing. since I did not had anything in particular that I was looking for , I just told them what I want my car to be like, and they gave me lots of options and it was so hard to choose because they all were great and I wanted them all. But I had to choose only one so I did! I probably never been happier!!!! The hole process was really fun for me, I really had fund purchasing a car, never thought that Its possible. I think that I not just purchased a car but also made new friends which is always cool. So yeah, if you looking for car go see them, trust me you will not find better than them. I just bought a 2007 SAAB 9-3 from Auto Bazaar. I was very happy with the staff and responsiveness to my questions. I did find a couple of issues with the car on the test drive and they worked with me to resolve them all (all 4 brakes needed replaced with new rotors and a couple of other minor things). I love the car and the service was excellent. My only complaint would be that the cars fuel gauge was not working. The tank was on E when I test drove and picked it up. I assumed they just did not fill the tank. Turns out gauge is faulty. Not a big deal, but something I do wish I had known upfront. It would not have changed my mind. I am very happy with the quality of the car and the prices they had. The sales rep was knowledgable about the car and very willing to work with me. Thanks!

First time I saw MY Toyota online I though there was something wrong with it because of the lowest price. So I drove there any way, sales guys were pretty cool, allowed me to take car to my mechanic. Just bought a '09 Mazda. I drove up from Tennessee (4+ hours one way with my kids) and was not interested in any used-car sales non-sense and I didn't get it. The car was exactly as described. The dealer made a point to highlight every flaw in advance and even shot some video of the engine starting, running, revving etc to share with me before I came. He even helped me drop off my rental car when I did buy it. I had the car inspected at a nearby mechanic before buying and he told me it was a great deal. Of course, it was a used car so it's not perfect but I believe that dealer was as forthright as possible. Great service and a solid transaction all around, not to mention a great price. I highly recommend.

I called ahead and said that I was driving 2 hours AND asked if anything was wrong with the car I wanted to see. They said nothing was found except the brakes needed replaced. Its bad business to lie. I wasted 4 hours driving from Indiana to and from the Auto Bazaar car lot to find a car in the shop with chipping clear coat, an engine mount being replaced, a clicking noise from under the hood when turning, a bad repaint job with runs (back drivers side),rust around the doors, wheel wells, and frame, cigarette burns, dog hair, worn out carpet, and evidence of body damage from a previous accident on the front driver's side. The only thing they said was wrong was it needed brakes, but they were actually fine. So basically, they said anything to get me to their lot, caring nothing about honesty and integrity, or their customers time. I will never consider shopping at the auto bazaar again. Based on the other review on here, I hope they consider changing their sales strategy for the sake of their business.

Went in today ready to pay cash for a vehicle if it checked out with my mechanic. I was given the impression from the sales man that they would be willing to work with me based on what was found. Came back with some potential issues (belts that were 20k miles over to be changed, possible catalytic converter issue, etc), that I was ready and willing to negotiate through. Sat down with the sales man and was basically told his "boss" was unwilling to budge on price regardless of what was found?? What? This would have been fine had I been made aware of this decision before I spent 3 hours of my morning driving there, picking up the car, taking it to my mechanic and driving back to the lot. So when I made him aware of the belt issue, he told me that they knew about it. What? if you know about an issue shouldn't that be something every potential customer should be made aware of before purchasing? He avoided direct explanation of the potential catalytic converter issue. And said that they're mechanic said it was fine but didn't produce any paperwork to show me that it in fact is fine. The car was priced right on target for a 'excellent' kelly blue book rating. But not for the extra 1500$ worth of work my mechanic found. I'm am just shocked that there was absolutely no room for any negotiation. Not even meeting me in the middle. I guess they're just looking for someone (sucker) who doesn't do any due diligence on a pre-owned vehicle.

This was the best car buying experience I ever had! Usually buying cars is frustrating for me, it takes 2 hours or more. But this guys did all paper work in less then 20 minutes, they even offered me a coffee and cookies for my son, no other dealer did that. When I drove in to the dealership, got out of my car and went so see their inventory, young gentlemen came out of the store and greeted me, which I really did not expect. He was very nice and professional, he helped me to chose a car. I wasn't looking for any thing particular just 4door car, fresher year, good mpg and in 10.000$ price range. So he showed me cars that fitted my search, and he was honest about the cars, told me their positives and negatives. And there I was leaving that dealership on my new Honda Accord.
