We started our search for a new Subaru by visiting our originally preferred dealership, which was not Premiere Subaru Watertown, because we bought our 2001 Outback there 15 fifteen years ago. We were familiar with that dealership, their new easy to access location, and, most importantly to me, the service department. We visited that dealership 3 times test driving the Impreza, Crosstrek, and Forester, before getting serious about making a purchase.Then we visited Premiere Subaru Watertown. We met Bob. who introduced us to AJ, who would be our sales consultant. We went for a test drive with AJ who explained the features in the Forester Premium model, which to our surprise has an unexpected amount of features that doesn't come across in the brochure, especially in the multi-function screen. His knowledge of the vehicle impressed us and will factor alot in us choosing Premiere. After the test drive, Jeff I., the sales manager, gave us a price that, unfortunately, didn't wow us. Also, the vehicles in stock weren't a great match in terms of options/accessories and not in the color that my wife liked (it's one thing to see the color as a small color sample in a brochure and then that same color on an actual car ). Plus, it was our first pricing and we had to hit another dealership to compare.We visited the other dealership again without luck due to lack of vehicles with the desired color. But we got a price if one was in stock.While checking out Premiere's inventory on their website, I noticed that they had the Forester Premium model in quartz blue in stock with some of the options/accessories we wanted. So, we visited Premiere that Saturday. AJ was busy with another customer, but he greeted us and remembered us ( it's been 3 weeks since our first visit ), and we waited a bit for him to finish up. We were offered coffee/tea/water while we waited by a few staff members. We met Franco who priced out the Forester for us with the additional options/accessories we wanted. The price was fair and, given AJ's knowledge and helpfulness during the test drive on the previous visit, we bought. We took delivery a few days later. We met AJ to start the process. Kevin handled the financials. And finally, Eric, the Subaru product specialist. He gave us a tour of the Forester we bought. He went through all of the controls and features, the buttons and knobs. AJ impressed us during the test drive with his detailed knowledge of the Forester, but Eric was a human version of the owner's manual, in a nice and friendly way. It was an unexpected but nice service to be shown in detail how to use your new car beyond the radio. Overall, it was a great experience working with the sales team at Premiere. We didn't get a chance to visit them we we bought our 2001 Outback fifteen years ago. We're happy we did this time.Other notes: Premiere offered various dealer services such as fabric protection, extended warranties, and the like, but there wasn't pressure to purchase them. They offered. We declined. That made it a more pleasant purchase and another reason to recommend Premiere.

I just returned home from the best car buying experience of my life at Premier Subaru in Watertown, CT. My wife summed it up best when we drove off the lot in our new Outback "That was the easiest car buying I've ever done and I don't have that nasty feeling of having just been ripped-off." And here's the kicker: we drove an hour and a half each way to make this good of a deal, and it was a great deal! From the day I first walked in their door a week ago, to driving off the lot today, the people at Premier made my car buying experience a good one. They were friendly, helpful and knew their product well. Ariq Ross was professional, enthusiastic about Subarus, and friendly while not pushy. Ask for Ariq. I was apprehensive about my trade-in which Premier did not see until today. Surely, I thought, they would realize I did not want to drive the old car back home and could low-ball their offer. But they came in right at the value my research told me the trade-in was worth and a thousand dollars more than I honestly thought I would get! I researched cars from dealers in three states and found the right car at the right price at Premier Subaru Watertown.

On the last Sunday of August we went to Premier Subaru in Watertown and test drove a 4 cylinder 2017 Outback. We wanted to test drive a 6 cylinder outback but they were closing. So on the following Monday we went back. We were told that they did not have any 6 cylinder outbacks on the lot. We were told that they would have one within two weeks. They took our name and phone number and promised that someone would call us as soon as the car came in.Well it's Oct. 6th and we never have heard anything from Premier Subaru. No one followed up on our request. I guess that they didn't need our business.We did wind up buying a 2017 Outback Limited from Center Subaru in Torrington.I would not recommend anyone doing business with Premier Subaru in Watertown. Very poor way to be treated.

I went to Premier Subaru for my first lease in 2014, so I was confident I'd get decent service. However, my experience this time exceeded my expectations. Jeff greeted me when I walked in, and Ed couldn't have been a friendlier or more patient sales person. I felt genuinely well taken care of through the process of leasing a new car, everything was explained clearly, and I was impressed with the excellent customer service. Kevin, who did the finance work, was also terrific. I was treated with respect, friendliness, and there was no hard sell. I dropped in on Thursday night, and picked up my new car on Saturday. So easy, so stress-free! Jeff takes the time to meet with every customer before they leave in their new Subaru, and that was another professional courtesy that I really appreciated.

With my limited space in our garage I had to search for an auto I loved under 175 inches long. I drove 5 autos with those specifications. Jeep, GM, Mazda, Honda and Suburu CrossTrek. Of all the dealerships visited, Premier took the time to listen to my specific needs. I worked with Michael and he put me into a comfort zone and never once compared his auto to all the ones I drove. He spent a lot of time focusing on the attributes of the Suburu (CrossTrek) We drove a CrossTrek to my home to see how well it fit in our garage and was amazed how well it drove. Everything Michael said about the CrossTrek was right on. No hard sell, no let me talk to my manager just positive attributes of the CrossTrek and the dealership. I have purchased over 10 cars in my life time but this dealership is the best. Price was what I expected and the CrossTrek that finally came in was everything Michael said. Michael wears Premier Suburu in his heart. What a terrific employee and dealership.

This was one of the best experiences we had buying a car. We arrived and salesman were busy, so John, who is not a salesman, assisted us at looking at Outbacks. He knew the product and you would think he was sales staff. John then handed us over to Fred. This was a no hassle sale. There was no hard sell, discussed price of car which was very fair and our trade, also fair. We were happy with the offer and appreciated the staff was pleasant and not pushy. Would have given a 5 but they were having computer issues so we were told someone would call us later w final numbers on money to bring later that day. No one called. The next day we had to make a couple of calls because when we called the calls were always sent to voice mails. Finally I had to tell receptionist do not give me voice mail I need to talk to someone. Once I was finally able to connect with a live person I was able get the info I needed. On day of delivery the car was ready as promised. Like their approach to the customer and would recommend them.

I explained what I was interested in and he went through each of my options., explaining pros and cons of each. Let me drive a 2017 Forester. Explained cars that were available, walked the lot looking at colors - nothing let to speculation. John helped set up radio, Bluetooth with my phone, went through all the perks of the car. Hello. I just purchased a new Crosstrek. I had a great experience that started out with Jeff and Michael. They were both great. I came in with numbers from another dealer and they were able to match them even though they were a tad high. It was great to be able to use a local dealer. After I had set it all up and was told the car would be in Branford in about two weeks but come to find out I had to wait over a month for the car to actually get shipped from the factory. I was ok waiting for the new car since I knew I would be the only driver. I was then passed over to a salesman that didn't seem to have it all together. He didn't need to "sell" me a car since I knew what I wanted and what I wanted in it. I had very little communication with the salesman actually I had to follow up with him. The part that bothers me is I was set up for a pick up appointment but when I arrived I found out they did not have my insurance information even though it was all sent over ( I confirmed and asked for confirmation from my agent). I then had to wait and take more time off from work in order to get my new car. This was inconvenient since it seemed as though I was working on their schedule and not mine.Sherry in finance was great. She was friendly and personable. She apologized immediately for running late for my appointment. She was through and was not pushy with anything she had to try and sell me. I was hesitant to use this dealer since I have heard bad stories about it. i will continue to use them for service but hesitant to recommend it to someone that is not sure what they want.

I have bought my 5th Subaru from here since 1980's. 3 were from Chase Parkway, the previous dealership. Now 2 more. I bought a Forester & am so in love with it. My salesman AJ was professional & very knowledgeable. He answered most of my questions & found out what he didn' t know. About 2/3rds of my church have Subaru's & 1/2 came from Primier. Shows what a great job they are doing. The only thing I would like to see change is an upgrade to the sales room. It's kind a old looking, and definatly upgrade your computer system!!! I waited for hours , 5 to be exact while they messed with slow & stopping info being put into the computer to look for the right car, then complete the sale. This is unacceptable! All the people I felt with were great.

Three years ago we got our first Subaru from Premeir. John Risk was our sales man then and although we had a very small problem with the sale John made sure that it was taken care of immediately, so when it came time to get our new Subaru John was the sales man we went to see and this time everything went smoothly. I can't say enough about the dealership or it sales people. Everyone is professional and go out of their way to help you. We got our car in August when the 2017's were coming out so it was a little difficult to get the car we wanted in the exterior color with the interior color that we wanted. John went out of his way to try and locate one and he was able to find one out of state for us. In three years we will be getting another Subaru from John and Premeir Subaru.

I was skeptical due to my current stand point at first (negative equity & bad experiences at other dealerships) but that didn't stop them and they did everything possible to help and make the process/experience pretty painless. Kerry, Chris, and Kevin were wonderful and very accommodating. The service department is also very pleasant, professional, and courteous, right down to the mechanic (can't remember his name, but he has a ponytail...) who personally came over to discuss what was going on with the car. They treated me with respect and not like a crazy nuisance.

We had brought our two Subarus---bought in another state before we moved back to CT-- to Premier for service during the past year and were totally impressed with their level of attention to details and commitment to quality. When we were ready for a new car, we met with Jeff and Sarah who spent copious amounts of time answering our questions about Subaru's advances in tech and engineering since our last purchase. When our Forester XT arrived, Sarah patiently guided us through the enhancements Subaru has made recently to improve on what had been a somewhat complex program. Sherry helped us through the protection insurance and the final touches on additional protective coating were made in the Service Department the following day. Our experiences with all Premier employees--including Eric, Darius, Maria and others who are not on this list were very pleasant and rewarding. Talk about a great experience! Walked in last Saturday to check out a new 2017 WRX and was driving one within minutes. Ariq Ross was a zero pressure knowledgeable salesman who had all the information I needed! From there aside from immediately loving the car to running numbers was a breeze, Kevin Bailey was very personable and straightforward and definitely worked with me to get me to the number that I wanted to be at. Jeff Irzyk the Sales Manger was also extremely helpful and made me feel like I was the only customer in the showroom. Being a Saturday and that the color & package I wanted was in Branford I had to wait until the Tuesday, Surprisingly as inpatient as I am I didn't mind because I got to meet more of Premiers as they call award winning staff, which in my experience was the absolute truth! It was great meeting everyone including Sherry Antoni, Chris Kasidas, Eric Daluz and AJ Daluz! I came to this dealership because I found a used Subaru Outback that I was interested in on their website, and I was referred to them by my Costco Auto Buying program. When I set up an appointment with Sarah Ritenour to test drive the car, I also explained to her my basic criteria. Because the car that I saw on their website was red, not my first color choice (tungsten was my first choice.), Sarah went to the trouble to set up not only a test drive of the red car, but she went to the trouble to find a tungsten car--the only one was in their offsite, overstock lot. She also set up a test drive of a Forester when I decided I wanted to see how that model drove. She was personable and thoughtful throughout the process, and I did buy that original red car. Who know I would end up with a red one! But her patience allowed me to find the car that worked for me. And she got AJ to help me learn how to use the Bluetooth and the Nav systems when she was called away for a test drive appointment. Not to forget Sherry in Finance. Even though her computer was mercilessly malfunctioning, she kept her cool and completed all of the sales and registration paperwork. Thank you!

It appeared to me that the staff I was working directly with were new and learning the job. Having driven an Outback for quite a while, I decided that I no longer needed a larger vehicle. I was torn between getting a Forester or a sedan, e.g. a Legacy. I had done my homework on the car; the dealership just happened to be closest to our home. We are both so impressed with everyone there. My original contact was with Bob, in sales, who took my phone call.. He invited us to come in, promising we would be happy with the dealership. I have a 2010 Legacy GT that I bought new. This was the first time I used Premier for service. In the past I was using a Subaru dealer in Torrington and that was a nightmare, but that's another story. I brought my car in to have the timing belt changed and after they changed the belt and took the car for a test drive the car stopped running and had to be towed. The bad experience was dealing with the people in service that could not explain what the issue was. After about a week and a half I got tired of calling and dropped in and was introduced to the assistant service manager, Joe Proulx. Joe took me into the shop where the mechanic was working on my car and explained the issues they were having. After we discussed some history of past repairs done to my car he assured me they would get it fixed correctly. I left the dealership feeling very confident and at ease after talking to Joe. I am not one to blow smoke but he is an asset to that company and I will continue to use their service dept.

If you want your next car purchase to be an honest one, look elsewhere. I recently purchased a Subaru Legacy from Premier in Watertown. Great car, I love it - Subaru's are great cars. However, I'm out of state (MA) and the car had illegal tints. I was hesitant to purchase the car due to this fact, but was reassured by the salesperson, Robert Prescott, aka "Bo" that if the car failed MA inspection, they would take the tints off no problem. Just as I expected, the car failed due to the tinting. The heat shields were also rattling like crazy (safety issue) and the tires needed an obvious rotation. However, when it came to having this service done, I was told they won't remove the rear tint due to the risk of damaging the rear defrost line. I was also given a hard time by the sales manager, Carmen after becoming furious that I was blatantly lied to. This man claims he is an "upstanding citizen", but he's no better than the lying salesman, Robert, whom I dealt with. Long story short, I had to spend $100 out of pocket to have the tints removed in order to pass inspection. Filed a report with the BBB only to find that Premier to claims they never agreed to the tint removal. The sales manager even threatened that if I went to the BBB, he wouldn't have my car serviced at all. He also told me that they didn't even have a mechanic with experience in tint removal.If Premier is going to lie about something as simple as window tints, what else will they lie about? This is a perfect example of a dealership taking advantage of a young consumer. Lesson learned - Get everything in writing. Avoid your own nightmare when it comes to buying a vehicle, and look elsewhere. As much as I recommend purchasing a Subaru, do yourself a favor and check out a dealership with integrity. Overall, if honesty is what you're looking for, you won't find it at Premier in Watertown.

I found a great vehicle online from Premier Subaru, and drove from Long Island, NY for that deal. I dealt with both John Risk and Jeff from finance and they were straight forward and very helpful gentlemen.Cant tell you what a great experience I had with them, and the follow up and assistance they gave after the sale was concluded. They were clear and concise and overall great! I'm very happy with their performance and recommend them, EVEN if your driving from Long Island ;)

My wife were looking for a vehicle to replace a pretty crappy 2013 STI. The STI had numerous mechanical and electrical problems with only 9000 miles on it, so it was time for it to go. We took it to a Subaru dealer thinking that way we'd get the most for it in trade. I test drove a 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser that I liked, that supposedly had the TRD off road package according to the salesman. While on the test drive I could tell the vehicle was poorly aligned and that the suspension was having difficulty keeping the tires on the ground through bumps. I told the salesman I liked the car but if I was going to buy it that the problems had to be fixed first. He assured me that it had not been through their shop yet and that the repairs would be done as well as a recall that needed to be done by Toyota. I went back in to sign paperwork with my wife, and I asked if the repairs were done and my salesman told me yes. I should have asked to drive it again, but I trusted them. I didn't think they would lie to coerce us into signing the paperwork. The salesman also sold us an aftermarket warranty by Zurich. So we signed the paperwork and on the way home I noticed the alignment still was not right and the suspension still was not riding right. I thought maybe it was normal to ride like it did because I was not used to riding in a bigger SUV. The second problem we noticed was the gas mileage we were getting was 10-12mpg instead of the 17-22 that the salesman told us we should get. I made an appointment and took the vehicle in for the alignment and the mileage issue. Premiers service department told me there was nothing wrong with the alignment even though the steering wheel was 20 degrees off center, and couldn't find anything wrong with the way the truck was running. When I got home I pulled the spark plugs out to find a mishmash of 6 different spark plugs, a bad thermostat and a dirty Mass air flow sensor. After I replaced the plugs and thermostat and cleaned the mass air flow sensor I was able to get 15mpg, better but still not right. I needed to replace the tires as they were wore almost to the wear bars so I figured I'd just pay the tire place for the alignment along with replacement tires. That cost was almost $1800. I got called back into the alignment bay at Town Fair Tire only to find out they couldn't so the alignment due to a seized adjustment bolt on a lower control arm. So I made an appointment with Premier Subaru and once again they told me they fixed the problem. They said they had to heat it up with torches and got it aligned. I didn't believe them so I immediately took the car across the street from them to Branch Toyota. I didn't tell branch what was wrong other than Subaru was struggling to get it aligned. Toyota did their inspection and told me that the lower control arm and hardware associated with it needed to be replaced and wouldn't be able to see if there were any other problems with the alignment until that was done. So i got the estimate from Branch Toyota that cost me $130 and took it directly back to the service department at Premier Subaru. Premier Subaru once again told me that there was nothing wrong with the lower control arm and the alignment was fine even though the camber on the tire is clearly off, and the steering wheel is not centered. So I took the vehicle back to Branch Toyota along with a copy of my warranty paperwork for the aftermarket warranty that Premier had sold me. The Rep for the warranty company came out and told me that because I was a volunteer firefighter that my warranty was voided and that the dealer that sold me the warranty knew that it was spelled out in the terms of the warranty. So when I talked to the rep directly I told him that discrimination was illegal and we were able to clear up his confusion very quickly. The next excuse he tried to use was that the bolt had rust on the head and that his warranty has exclusions for rust so it wasn't covered. If this is really the case then their warranties are completely useless so don't wast your money on one. So my wife and I had to pay Branch Toyota almost $800 out of our pocket to fix the lower control arm. We were also told at that time that the upper and lower ball joints as well as the sway bar links were bad and needed replaced. They also informed us that the shocks and struts were bad and the two rear coil springs were missing chunks of the coil on the bottom and the front springs were shot as well. They told us without all of those repairs being done they still couldn't get the alignment done. They also said that because they were aftermarket parts they couldn't fix it. But wait I was told my the Premier Subaru salesman that all the parts were the TRD package from Toyota. But the Toyota dealer is telling me no way. Hmm there is a big problem there. I called to complain to the GM of Premier about the mis information that we received when we bought the car. I made another appointment with Subaru to inspect the problems and also bring to light a new problem I noticed after finally getting to drive the vehicle a bit. Previously it had been in and out of service so much that in the first two months it was driven primarily back and forth to service appointments. The Transmission was acting goofy and shaking when the RPM's were in the 1100 to 1500 range. When I took it in and they looked at it they told me there was nothing wrong with the suspension and that the transmission problem was due to new tires. New tires really? The new tires have the same rolling radius as the old tires, although they have all their tread life remaining. Who knew new tires could do that? I left a message with Premiers GM. Never received a return call so I once again went back to Toyota as I knew the service technicians for Subaru didn't know what they were talking about. Toyota diagnosed it as a bad transmission and torque converter. Again I didn't have to hold their hand and they were able to find the problem and after much argument with the warranty company they transmission was replaced at a cost of $3500. I have never had another issue with the transmission since. They must have been really reaching to pull a new tires excuse on me. I left a message for Premiers GM. Never called me back. I had to go to an aftermarket four wheel drive shop to have the non factory parts identified for replacement. I ended up at EVB and the estimate for all the suspension work that the car needed was $3400. We ate the bullet and paid for the repairs. But EVB couldn't do the alignment on the vehicle even after all the parts that were replaced. I took it for a second opinion back to Town Fair Tire, it was put on the rack and they couldn't align it either and recommended I take it to a frame shop. Frame shop?So I paid to run a carfax on my phone and found out that the car had been in a pretty bad rear end accident. Now I understand why Town Fair Tire said frame shop. Thats how I ended up at Albert's Auto Body in Danbury. They checked the car for me for free after I told them the entire tale of all the headache so far. They determined the frame was still straight but the passenger side steering spindle was bent. Ah just what I needed another issue related to the alignment. Mind you all the problems so far minus the transmission were all alignment related. But wait, the salesman told me that it was fixed prior to signing for the vehicle so that can't be right. I took the Vehicle back to Branch Toyota to have an estimate done for replacement of the spindle and also left a message for the General Manager of Premier again. Still no return call from the GM. The estimate was almost $1800 to replace the spindle. Branch Toyota told me they wouldn't deal with the aftermarket warranty company again due to the hassle and arguing that it took to replace the transmission. So this is where I currently sit. After talking with an attorney he told me to write a summary of the entire ordeal and send it certified to Premier's GM Keri Pacheco, and the President Robert Alvine. So I did. I got several emails from Robert today trying to discourage me from pursing this any farther. No apology, no lets see what we can do to make this better. So I have contacted channel 3, reported their service department to the DMV for investigating, turned them in to the Better Business Bureau, reported them to the Federal Consumer Protection Agency and I am awaiting a return call from the Connecticut State Attorney Generals office. We also have a meeting on Monday with out Attorney to sign paperwork to initiate a lawsuit against Premier as a whole. In summary if you want good service go somewhere else, if you want to be treated fairly go somewhere else, if you want a competent service department go somewhere else and lastly if you want a dealer that respects you and has great customer relation skills go somewhere else. If I could give this dealership zero stars I would. We paid almost $22,000 for this car after financing, tax and the warranty and in service repairs so far there has been over $12,000 invested with at least $2000 more to be done. Do the math people, with a used car for $22,000 you expect to change the oil, replace the spark plugs and maybe a belt in the first 3000 miles or 6 months. That's acceptable. But to invest over half the cost of the loan back into the car in the first 5 months is excessive at the least. And if Premier had addressed these problems from the start as they said they did before we signed the paperwork, I wouldn't have to give them a bad rating here. Trust me go somewhere else for a car, as the President here believes $11,000 and counting is perfectly acceptable for repairs out of your pocket on one of his used cars.

I did my homework before making a purchase, and entered the dealership thinking that I'd start the haggling process. To my happy surprise, the sales agent Mark Haislip treated me fairly, gave me answers to every question I had, and didn't apply any pressure at all. I was treated with respect, and was only presented with options, benefits, and costs so that I could make informed choices. In the end I got exactly the car I wanted at a great price (according to truecar at least) with no stress whatsoever.

Our family has bought 6 cars from Chase Parkway Volvo Subaru and one from Premier. We went looking for a new car but was very disappointed with the way were treated. Some of the salesman we dealt with had no idea what they were talking about, they read information off the car sticker, which I already knew because I already read it. They pushed us to buy and refused to negotiate prices at all. After all our business with them over the years, I can guarantee they will never see us again. The manager, Damian Fournier, was rude and disrespectful. As in other reviews, he jumps on the offensive and nothing is his fault. He gets angry very quickly if you disagree with him, it is like working with a child. Worst management I have seen in a long time. If you ever get your car worked on here, make sure you have a lot of money for it and expect them to hold it against you if want to sell. After visiting 4 other dealerships, it was clear they were the worst.

The first day i went to look at Subaru's I had a good experience. I explained i was just starting to look and i wanted to drive a couple of new models. The Salesman was very nice and informed. I went back a week later to look again with the same salesman, I took another test drive and liked what i saw. We sat down to discuss options and price and that's where i became disappointed. I asked for an out the door price for an outback with the options i was interested, After a little resistance i was given a rough number on a piece of paper. I asked about what kind of deals or discounts he could offer, and was told that was only an option if i picked a car on the lot and was willing to purchase today. I offered a price that i thought was reasonable and he said flat out no. A few days later i received a call saying that i should come in and maybe they could meet that price. I ended up purchasing a subaru from another dealer who offered me an even lower price for a new car than what i had offered here. I would not recommend this dealership. I felt pressured to make a quick large cost decisions on a purchase that should not be rushed into.

Researched the internet for subarus. Found a wonderful car here and went in to see. The Blah salesesman looked and said the car was not there, it was no where, it was not on the lot. We said it was on the Internet. He said sometimes that happens. The car was traded in but had not gone through their 102 point inspection so it was not there but they put it on the Internet Can he show us something else or call us when it comes in? What a waste of time. We already knew there was nothing else in a used car that we were interested in. Is that false advertising or bait and switch?

Just a warning to those ordering a new car from this dealership; MAKE SURE WHEN YOU PLACE YOUR ORDER YOU GET A COPY OF ALL PAPERWORK. I ordered a vehicle from this location at the end of May. The salesman I dealt with originally magically quit (I think he got fired) a week after the deal was made (No one ever contacted me telling me "had had left" nor that anyone else was taking over. I ended up calling the dealership and speaking to the General Sales Manager Damian Fournier. Damian forwards my information to Damon "DJ" Stefko who was my original TrueCar.com contact with the dealership (that is where I got my price on the vehicle from). For the two months I was waiting for the vehicle DJ was almost impossible to get a hold of. I was going through Damian the majority of the time. I wasn't happy with the service and I was also thinking about purchasing a 2015 Legacy. My original order was for a 2015 Subaru WRX Limited Silver w/ HK Audio/Nav/Push to Start. I later went and rebuilt the car with Short Throw Shifter, and Body side molding options and asked Premier to match the price which they did. When I found a price with Bertera Subaru in MA I forwarded that screenshot to Damian. They wouldn't match. Since it was only $500 more I stayed with Premier. My vehicle arrived at port on July 17th, 2014. My vehicle arrived at the dealership on Friday July 25th, 2014 (I know this because I just took a ride out there that night and saw it on the lot). I called Sunday night just before closing and spoke to DJ and was told; "I was just about to call you". I asked him when my vehicle arrived and he informed me late the night before (so Saturday night but I know it was there on Friday night for a fact). I asked if he got the mileage on the odometer to me so that I can make sure they don't rack up the miles on test drives. He said he would get that to me tomorrow (Monday). All day Monday I waited and got nothing, was told that someone would call me to set up an appointment for delivery and no one called me. I ended up calling them getting both Damian and Dj's voice mail and finally spoke to a lady and told her that I will be stopping by on Tuesday. I was told their computer systems were down which is why she didn't call me (Getting the run around again). She also informed me that they would have to re-appraise my vehicle; I told her no that the trade in offer was already agreed upon. The following day July 29th, 2014 I made my way to the dealership and arrived just before 5pm. Met with DJ we sat down; he gave me the key to the WRX so that I can take a look while they looked at my car to make sure everything was still the same. The WRX has not even been pre delivery inspected yet (which should have been done prior to my arrival). We sat back down and of course they changed their appraise offer and offered me $4,000 less than the original signed offer. I asked them to see the original paperwork and of course they no longer had it and asked me if I had it (first sign that they were covering up that they were shafting me. I got very upset at this point and I will admit raised my voice. My grandfather then asked to speak with the manager. The manager came over and at this point I wanted nothing to do with anyone. Dj had insisted he took my deposit on the day of order and I argued with him that he did not as he had take the day off and was not working that day (my girlfriend was with me that day and also told him that he did not) but he did not want to listen and apparently must have been there in sprit that day. When Damian came over my grandfather told him that we had a signed deal and that I was never told the vehicle had to be re-appraised. Damian informed him that I was told in emails and over the phone that it would have to be (I have all my emails and the 1 maybe 2 phone calls we had mentioned nothing of this sort). Damian now was on the offensive; he was calling me a liar at this point so I told him; "I have all the email; you guys are saying you have all the emails to so prove to me where you said that in the emails; show me! He didn't like me "getting in his face (not literally)" and stood up and stated; "Your lucky we are even selling you a car after you tried putting Beteras price on our letterhead" (meaning the TrueCar.com value). I'm sorry but if youre going to accuse me of forgery or doctoring paperwork you better be able to prove it. At this point even more I cared less about the car and it because about principle. I demanded he prove to me where I doctored any paperwork as I can go right online and pull up the price immediately proving him that I didn't do what he was accusing. He tried interrupt and I interrupted him and told him to prove it. At this point he was caught in his lie and kicked me out of the dealership (grandfather stayed and got my deposit back).I have purchased many new cars (2007 Nissan Altima, 2008 Nissan Altima, 2009 Nissan Maxima, 2011 Chevy Silverado, 2011 Subaru WRX STI, 2013 Dodge Charger) and with all of those new vehicle purchase/trades I have never ran into this issue what so ever (mind you all these were built to order vehicles also). The professionalism at this dealership was below minimum. Also just wanted to throw it out there that even though DJ and I argued about him thinking he took my deposit and me telling him he didn't he had admitted to my girlfriend that he didn't after I was told to leave the building.Don't do business with this dealership; keep in the back of your mind that the lifetime power train warranty isn't lifetime and is a limited lifetime warranty (read the fine print). If you go to this dealership best of luck to you.

I began emailing with Premier Subaru Watertown about a 2009 Legacy I had seen listed on both their website and AutoTrader. I initially corresponded with Cher and then was reassigned to Kelly. I was told that I could neither view nor test-drive the vehicle because a pre-sale safety inspection had not yet been completed. They were unable to tell me when the inspection would be completed so we e-mailed daily for status. After 7 days I received a call from Kelly informing me that the vehicle I was interested in was sold (seemingly an impossiblity because according to Kelly the vehicle had never been cleared for sale) BUT she could offer me a similar vehicle (identical year and mileage, plus leather) for a $4000 PREMIUM. I am left wondering if the car that initially attracted my interest ever even existed. At best Premier Subaru Watertown has demonstrated some very poor and unprofessional sales practices.

Upon establishing contact with the sales team, they were informed of an established quote from another dealer, and they agreed to honor that out the door price. After nearly 2 hours of the trade in appraisals, various negotiations, etc. the out the door price was $2,000 above what they had just agreed to honor. The sales person attempted to convince us that his price was best. We left the showroom and went to the other dealer we had the quote from, and actually got the car for $1,400 less than the original out the door price.
