Bought a used 2010 Escalade hybrid. And bought the mileage plus 2 year bumper to bumper warranty. Within one month driving the truck it got stuck in drive. Had it towed to prestage Cadillac where I bought it. There was slush and snow packed up under it. My road had a foot of slush in the subdivision streets. I got up and I took my kids to school and drove back through those streets. About 4 miles of back roads to get to school. Service department accused me of driving in snow drifts. I'm a 50 year old man. I do not drive cars in snow drifts. Then he said it was probably your son. I said sir! My son is 12..the shifter rod came off.. Had to fight like hell to get them to cover it. What a headache. I did nothing inappropriate with the truck at all. Now 8 months later me and my wife drive it to Motor city casino. No noise, no lights came on, no sign of any problems when we parked at about 8pm. We came out of the casino at around 11pm and started the car. It mediately started missing real bad as soon as I started it. And when in reverse it sounded like the engine was coming apart. Wasn't drivable. Called a tow truck who came out right away with two trucks. One to get it out of the garage and into the street and the other flat bed to get it to prestage. I went to prestage in the morning to let them know it's there. They told me I have to sign that I'm responsible for a $120 charge to look at it. If it's covered they will pay for it. Three days later they call and say it's not a simple coil. They need me to sign for another $480 to take the top of the motor apart to see what's wrong. One day after that they call and say they need me to ok $2000 more to go deeper in the motor. WTH! So I needed a loner. So I drove down there and they needed the insurance papers which were in the Escalade. So we went in the shop and he lowered the truck on the hoist for me. I noticed nothing underneath was taken apart and when he lowered it. The only thing off the motor was the plastic cover that sits on the injectors. $480 was supposed to take it apart and it wasn't even touched and they asked for a 2000 dollar signature to go deeper.. Very fishy!! I tried to ask the service manager about it and completely blew me off like I was no body. Now they are saying the oil looks too new. That I ran it out of oil since I changed the oil last and put oil in when it was broke down at the casino at 11pm at night in Detroit! Assuming I checked the oil and walked the streets around the casino for Mobil one oil at 11pm at night before the tow truck got there and towed it away. Completely ridiculous ! Trying to find any way they can to not warranty it. Turns out a lifter collapsed. They make me feel like a criminal there. So I have a car I bought 8 months ago with a motor all apart that they are trying their best to not warranty. This was my first Cadillac. Probably my last. I've bought fords all my life. I have an expedition that I put 250,000 plus miles on it. I change the oil in that one myself too. Runs like the day I bought it and pull the dip stick on it..oil looks like brand new. I change that one every 3000 miles. Body is rusting so I bought the wife another car. The Cadillac. Ford always treated me really good. I'm a criminal to Prestage Cadillac. Can't sleep at night now for fear they won't cover thousands in repairs. Some warranty!! Supposed to make you feel safe from this... 16 days. Still don't have my truck back. Waiting on insurance to come out and make a decision. I'm so sick to my stumach now I want to throw up.

On November 11, 2015 we purchased a used 2009 GMC Acadia that we have had in for service five times to date and have ongoing issues with steering and engine problems that remained unresolved even though documented and was previously serviced should be covered either by warranty work or under Premier Protection plan that we purchased additionally at time of sale. Customer satisfaction does not seem to be much of a concern to Prestige Cadillac nor does standing behind their workmanship. Firstly the rack and pinion gear is still leaking and steering binds. These conditions were termed pre existing by Premier agent yet Prestige service technicians determined there is nothing wrong with unit. Secondly service work on the engine for misfiring was a previous problem prior to purchase and remains a problem that was supposedly taken care but now vehicle is running on four cylinders. Being that warranty work or protection coverage will not pay for repairs that should covered we are hoping to reach an agreement to resolve these issues. We were not notified until today there is an additional diagnostic fee we owe upon picking up our vehicle. On the prior service appointments we were not charged the fee. I was told that that was an oversight on the service techs part. I feel as though I can no longer trust in your hands that my vehicle will be serviced properly and that your service department will stand behind their workmanship.

This is the 2nd Cadillac that I've purchased from Rinke/Prestige. Although I live much closer to a dealership in Novi, I come to Prestige due to the quality experience. At the other dealership I had to take my car in at least a dozen times due to the same quality issue. At Prestige, my low tire pressure issue was resolved swiftly because the Service department representative Brent listened any conveyed the problem to technicians without incident. Prestige is my dealership of choice.

Prestige Cadillac I recommend you go to a better dealership find one thats understands how to deliver quality, and how to keep up with customer service. I purchased a certified pre owned Cadillac with just over 24,000 mile from Prestige. This vehicle was supposed to be a certified pre-owned vehicle, which ment that it is held to a much higher standard then the average used vehicle. But when you buy a vehicle from prestige Cadillac this is not the case. My vehicle do not list any collision damage during the purchase and the CARFAX does not indicate the front end of the vehicle being repainted. As of right now all the paint is chipping away and I have grey and white specks all over the whole front of my vehicle which shows up very clear because it is a black car. I went back to the dealer and had Don in the body shop look at the vehicle and he told me that he could clearly tell that front end work or front end damage had occurred at some time because the body lines did not line up like you would see from the factory, so it was very clear that a keen eye or maybe just an experianced eye would have saw this immediately. Don told me that the prep for the repaint of the vehicle was done very poorly and as a result is why all the paint is chipping away. I had the service manager and the body shop manager look over the vehicle and all of us agreed that front end work had been done to the vehicle. With that being said I understand if the work was done prior to them receiving the vehicle and selling it to me it could be difficult to determine a bad paint job from a good paint job I personally do not know if the work was done by them or by somebody else but either way, I agreed to take on the burden of payment since they told me there's nothing they could do and they would not fix the vehicle. I asked them if they could at least work with me maybe meet me halfway and share some of the financial burden to have the front end repainted. They did agree to give me up to 10% discount on parts and a small discount in labor which truly doesn't mean much because the bill is over $1,300.00 so what this means is you buy your car from a Prestige Cadillac who's supposed to have experience and health good customer service but in reality you get stuck with another $1,300 bill. Don't expect to get a quality from a place like this and I truly recommend you go to a better dealership I know I will.

I stopped in the service bay at a non-peak time, only car in the bay. Told the write up guy the accessories compartment on my center console was jammed close, and I read online there was a "trick" to force it back open....could they help me? Guy kept me waiting for 10 minutes while he sat there shuffling papers, then he left to "find a technician". I waited 10 more minutes and nobody came back, so I left. If he didn't have time for this request, he should have told me right from the get go.

I made an appointment for an oil change with the service rep, he was very pleasant and helpful. Mark took my concern with my brakes. Called me to tell me that new ones were needed in the back. This was on a Friday and they could get it done that day, but I was in no rush to get it before Sat. He called me Saturday and told me the car was ready. I learned then that he had come in on his day off, that they didn't have the parts they needed on Friday but he was able to have someone pick them up from another dealer just to get it finished for me! I am very happy with this dealership.

I brought my new Yukon Denali here for service under the GM service plan. Julius had the truck pulled away before telling me they do not honor the service plan. Picture class then imagine the opposite...that would be my experience. I'm sure a manager will respond with a sorry for the inconvenience. That is not going to change this from being a similar to the way you will be treated at your local KIA dealer.

Disappointing that the service advisor, Sam, told me that they could change my oil, but due to vacations could not look at my broken seat. I'm a busy guy, and when I get a block of three hours to have my car worked over, I'd like to get things done. Not a lot of fun to have to spend $304.03 because of the potholes. However, the tire was in stock, the work was done quickly (thanks Sam and Brent), and it was made known to me that there is a slight dent on the inside of the wheel so if I notice any unacceptble vibration the repair is to replace the wheel.

He then took care of the car and got us settled in the customer lounge. When the mechanics were through with the car, our salesman was there again to tell us. Basil, my service consultant, is new to me in the service department at Prestige Cadillac. He could not have been more efficient or kind. I am handicapped and he helped me with my walker, all the while making me feel comfortable and respected. I was in a bind. My wipers started going crazy while out on the road, I called Prestige because I was near them, SAM in service bent over backwards to get me in quickly and get me back on the road. It became obvious that SAM and others at Prestige actually cared about taking care of their customers and ensuring they have a positive experience ( a trait becoming less common at some dealerships). I want to personally thank Sam for all his help and his eagerness to assist me. I came back for an oil change and am anticipating buying tires from Prestige based solely on how I was treated my first time there. We were leaving in the morning to drive down to Florida and the car battery was dead. I called OnStar and a nice man came out from prestige and got the car started. I went straight to the dealership and they took me right in before they opened and replaced the battery and checked out everything. We were then on our way. Thank you Prestige. I bought online, but Vince was HONEST, and conveyed the car EXACTLY as it was. Great experience, and altho it MAY be only the one, he was great. Got us at the airport, delivered the car...filled it with gas. Days later (now home) I realized a manual was missing....called Vince and a couple days later I had it. After making a phone call with Pre-Owned Sales rep. Jason Anderegg, I made the decision to trade-in my 08' Mercedes GL320 SUV. I drove over 850 miles from Kansas to make the purchase/trade-in. Jason was very knowledgeable, honest and provided me with a great amount of information on my newly purchased car. The trip to MotorCity went very well, We really appreciate all the help and the excellent service the sales rep and dealership offered. This has been a great car purchase experience. I have no complaints on the new car, the 1900 mile drive over, and the price.
