This is the sixth vehicle we have purchased at Ramsey Ford. Four vehicles from the Rising Sun location and two from the Elkton location. The staff is always friend and they work hard at getting you a good deal and the vehicle you want. Their service departmenton is extremely friendly and pleasant and answer all questions I asked. even showed me the damaged part on the vehicle and I like that! We are return customers because of the deals and trade-in values we get. They have really good deals and go above to help you get the vehicle you want. I would like to see an incentive for return customers, but they may already do that with the great deals bundled into one.

Dropped off my truck for bad heads. They put broken parts back on my truck. And told me they knew they were broke . now I have to spend 3 k at another dealership to fix what they were supposed to . They don't stand behind there work. Did I mention it took almost 3 months to do what they did. But only two weeks to say they will not participate in repairs . avoid this place at all cost.

I bought a used F150 from Ramsey, nice truck Lariat package with the works. I have had it for a year, It started having an odd noise on the passenger side as I drive. Like something loose or flapping. I took it in to have service take a look. We test drive it and the service person heard the noise. They looked it over but could not locate the problem. They kept it for a day drive it but nothing loose. No charge for the look. I still have the noise but they tried and noise problems are difficult to find.Maybe trade it off..... for a Tundra.

The prices are slightly higher, given that this is a dealership service, than an independent shop could perform. However, as far as the VALUE for the dollar...exceptional. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the service is timely and outstanding, the layout of the store is open and welcoming, and the ability to make this a 'one stop shop' is why I keep returning.

My experiences in dealing with dealerships in the past havn't been very pleasant, however at Ramsey Ford in Rising Sun Md. The staff there Are down to earth, good people who will work with you to help meet you meet your needs. I Traded in my 2011 Camaro for a Used Dodge Ram. They worked the numbers around to keep my payments manageable and also repaired any defects the truck had before turning it over to me. I will definitely continue business with these guys, I highly recommend them!

I am satisfied with service and think prices for value are ok. BUT it was recommended that I needed wipers... I just bought Bosh wipers about 3 months ago, do wipers wear out in 3 months??? It's been a dry summer. Makes me think maybe I didn't need the front breaks as recommended, but the truck did have 28,000. I did get front breaks as recommended though. This is the first american vehicle I bought in 30 years, always a Toyota truck or Honda (Acura). I don't think my Tundra needed breaks at 28,000 but I will look at my records. Will this truck last as long as my Tundra and service cost be the same or lowers? We will see. People are always friendly and helpful. How do you measure quality of repair? Oil changed and new breaks, if they fail I'll let you know. Facilities are OK not BMW but not priced like BMW so I am OK with facilities. (My wife has a BMW treat her like a queen but they should for the cost). Buying process well did I need what was recommended? if that is what is meant by buying process. I am not saying they are wrong but questionable on the $58 wipers......

The vehicle that Derek and Steve found from Chester County Pa came in with a damaged trunk and acouple of scratches on back bumper and interior carpet messed up... It wasn't their fault that it came in that way ... We scheduled appt right away to get it fixed.. And they lent a vehicle to use til mine gets fixed.. We recommend to everyone to go to Ramsey..

I took my Carroll Shelby GT Mustang 2007 with 2,611 miles on it to Ramsey of Rising Sun Maryland for a air bag recall. The part needed was out of stock and had to be ordered. Jarrad from parts called me and told me about the part. He also offered for me to pick up my Mustang and I could bring it back in the morning when the part on order came in. It would be very inconvenient for me to take my Mustang back and forth and have to get a ride back to work. Jarrad told me not to worry about it he would personally make sure my Mustang (which is like my baby, that has never sat out side overnight) was brought inside for the night. Jarrad was a man of his word. When I got off work my husband and I drove to Ramsey of Rising Sun, MD and checked. My Mustang was insdie. The service writers and all of the staff are very friendly and helpful. Ramsey Ford of Rising Sun Maryland goes above & beyond to take care of their customers. ***** five stars from me.

Austin explained a problem with my truck that needs to be dealt with. My husband, stubborn thingthat he is, wants to price the work out with another dealership to see if it can be done for less.Austin quoted me $1024. for the work and said it would take 8 hrs. to complete. I know the workmust be done, but have to let the husband do his research before making the arrangements. Ofcourse, if some other dealership quotes him a lesser fee, then he will want the truck to go there.So, I just have to wait it out for a bit and see what happens.

I have purchased a few new cars throughout the years. My experience with Ramsey is good. Limited part (after sale items) Waiting offers little compare to other dealerships where donut, drinks are free while you wait. When I went in to purchase a F150 it didn't fit in my garage. I was ready to quit when a salesmen show me an alternative a 2015 Explorer. With two trade ins and a few thousands, I left with a new Ford. I rate the sale people as informative, caring like a home town group of guys. I rate the warranty service as fast and good selection on the lots. My wife and I will buy our next car here. I came in to Ramsey to look at the F150. I took one home to check my garage and discovered it would not fit. I started to leave when the salesmen said I have a deal for you. I traded two vehicles in for the 2015 Explorer. I never thought that I would like this type of vehicle. I now have 300 miles on it and it rides great. That means a lot coming from me! I purchased a pad, dropped down the third row of seats and it's a pickup! Not only did I purchase a vehicle from Ramsey but they taught me something I didn't know. Me driving a SUV. I was disappointed I had to inform your service staff on what was covered under my warranty. The information was readily available on the Ford website yet I was told on two separate occasions that my repair was not cocovered. Fortunately the matter was clarified before the repair work was done. Brandi was very pleasant to deal with and explained everything that was going on. Main problem I believe is that I was an out of state buyer and they just didn't want to deal with me. Made initial contact with internet sales manager sent him what he requested to get the ball rolling (rough estimate on trade) and there is where it stopped. I called several times and left voicemails, and sent several emails as well. Finally after a couple of days I get an email saying car I was inquiring about has sold. It wasn't like I was interested in a cheap car, I was inquiring about a Shelby Mustang. Ended up purchasing at another dealership.

Took my new truck in for service due to problem with regen. Made an appt 2 weeks early requesting to get in early since I could not be without wheels all day. Not only did they not get me in early, my truck sat outside the dealership for over an hour and they said they did not know I was there waiting while they could see me standing around. I have spent allot of money with them and still treated like I don't matter. Found another dealership an hour away where they did not know me and I have never spent money with them and not only did they get me right in, as they told they would, they diagnosed the problem right away even when it did not come up on the computer. I will never use Ramsey ford again. They are nice when buying but horrible at service. They do not respect their customers.

My vehicle was having problems with its transmission, I had no idea what was going on so I called Ramsey Ford and was directed to their service department. The gentleman on the phone was so friendly and informative. He explain what he though was wrong with the vehicle and what steps to correct it. I brought my car in and dropped it off with in a few hours I got a phone call with the diagnoses of my vehicle. The service adviser was correct, I was blown away on his knowledge, I gave the okay and later that day my vehicle ran better than before! I can not express how thankful I am that the service department at Ramseys was able to get in me and my vehicle running like new again. I recommend anyone who is having vehicle problems or just needs to get it served to take it to Ramsey Ford in Rising Sun I will forever bring my vehicle here

I have had the best experience with Ramsey Ford! My last visit I was having transmission problems, they were able to diagnose the problem in a very timely manor. The service advisor Aaron called me when they had found out what the problem was. He explained everything, what parts needed to be ordered, how long it would take to fix and reassured me my vehicle was in great hands. The next evening I went to pick up my car and it felt brand new again! I would recommend this dealership to anyone who was quality service from such caring and friendly people. I will never take my car any where else and their owner advantage rewards program is a great way to earn money back to use for future services.

Rick Mills at Ramsey is the first salesmen ever to make purchasing a car a pleasant experience. In the past, purchasing a car meant spending the day sitting in the showroom waiting for hours for the salesman to confer with management to come up with a final price. If the price wasn't right on to the next dealer to once again go through the same long process. After describing what I was looking for, Rick found the perfect match for my needs, personality and budget. No haggling or waiting, just up front discussion. By the next morning Rick had prepared all of the paperwork for me to sign with the car ready to drive off the lot. Whole process took under an hour. Everyone at Ramsey was friendly, knowlegeable and a pleasure to deal with. My brand new 2012 ford focus I bought from ramsey ford In rIsIng sun md a year ago. First time I took the car there was for transmission problems. Was obviously lied to considering the last time they replaced the clutches and seals they had the car for 8 days I had to call them to find out what was going on. Took them another two days to fix the car. also a rattle in the front end of the car. They told me it was a baffle in the muffler. That is still there... REALLY I'M NOT STUPID went on a trip ended up getting stranded 500 miles from home..got the car to another dealership and come to find out when they worked on the transmission you have to take the axles out. The axle nuts where not tightened. The bearings in the wheels were getting ready to lock up and my tires were just hanging there. to think I was on i81 ..and had three other people In my car and one of them was my grand daughter 13 months old....scary And the nut. To the ball joint was tightened so hard that it was bent. After three days of being stranded finally got home thanks to the dealership who helped me.and fixed my car without charging me a cent and said they would talk to Ramsey about that. Went to Ramsey when I got back home. no apology for the inconvience. The service manager acted like he didn't know anything about it. When asked how would you feel if I had fixed your car and your family was in it with axle nuts not tightened how would you feel ??? His response....it wouldn't matter..REALLY ?? What kind of people does ramsey have working for them ?? The service manager tried telling me ford would pay for exspenses like hotels and such.. I asked him why would ford pay for it it's not the vehicle that caused it . It was caused by who worked on it ?? no answer to that questIon eIther. That's not covered under the warranty. He had no answer for it . SO VERY RUDE .. We have bought 5 or more vehicles from them and that's the best they can treat what was once there customer SO SAD !!! Therefore I know it's not the product I bought but the customer service I been gettIng After my experience I will never never buy nor let them work on my car ever again. I will never recommend Ramsey ford. Not only poor customer service but what happened could of had a very deadly ending. They work on them but never fix anything.

Rick was very knowledgeable, and everything went well during the purchase of my truck. I got a fair trade-in on my old truck, and they even helped load all of my construction equipment into the new truck. We even did the test drive alone. Great service. Would definitely come back here again.

The salesmen were very knowledgeable about the vehicles and if they didn't know they would find out as soon as possible. They were polite and not pushy. We were allowed to test drive the vehicle by ourselves without any hassle which was also nice.

To say that I have purchased a few vehicles from Ramseys would be an understatement. Once again they came through on trade value , new car value and financing. Derick,Dave and Mark will honestly give you the best deal possible. Best dealership around that sells Ford vehicles, Ford, the only domestic car manufacturer that did not accept government funds.

Rick Mills contacted me minutes after going on the internet to find information about the Ford Fusion. The guys (forget your names so sorry) were very friendly, helpful and made sure we understood what our options were during the process. The guys were overall caring, having patience while we made decisions and genuinely happy for us when we drove off with our car.I must say that I usually shop for cars in DE but, I would gladly return to Ramsey Ford if I needed to buy another vehicle because they cared enough to work with us, smiles, pleasant to talk with, made you feel like you were important and the price was good.

I recently took my Jeep Cherokee in to Ramsey for of Rising Sun for brake service. Tim in service was very helpful and professional. I spoke to several people in sales while i was waiting. Everyone was very professional and courteous. They really made me feel at home. My service was completed in a timely manner and pricing was extremely good. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!! They are such a rip off and do not know anything about diagnosing/fixing vehicles. I bought a 2006 Mercury Mountaineer off of them and have had nothing but problems. I was assured when I bought the vehicle that they would make everything right with it until I signed the agreement and drove off the lot. The transmission acts up and I told them I wanted it serviced and fixed before I made the deal and they assured me they would but after the deal was done they continued to tell me that they could not duplicate the problem and would not service the transmission. Immediately after buying the vehicle, it started miss-firing so I took it in for service. Again, I was told that they could not duplicate so I picked the car up unrepaired. After a few weeks the car was barely running and the check engine light came on. The dealership finally replaced the spark plugs and 2 coil packs at no charge and they fixed an exhaust leak at no charge but they refused to correct the transmission issues. At one point, the dealership asked me to come in and ride with a technician so that I could point out the transmisson problem, so I did. The technician admitted that he noticed the transmission problem and that he would need the vehicle for at least a day to remove the transmission and correct the issue. I also explained to him that the AWD acted funny in the snow and he told me that was not normal and he would fix that as well. After having the vehicle for a week, Ramsey finally contacted me and told me that they drove the car again and could not duplicate the problem. One of the many times they had my vehicle in for the transmission issues, they issued me a loaner vehicle. After I returned the loaner and picked up my vehicle, I received a bill in the mail for a toll violation in the loaner vehicle which occured after I had returned the vehicle. Someone else had violated the toll in this vehicle after I had returned it and they tried to pin the bill on me. I took the car in for PA inspection and it failed for rear brakes and rotors. I was also informed that it needed a new serpentine belt and new fuel filter at the inspection station. All of these issues should have been addressed before they sold me the vehicle but were not. I contacted Ramsey hoping they would replace these parts and they blew me off, ignored my calls, and would not return my calls.This is only a brief summary of my horrible experience at Ramsey Ford but hopefully enough to persuade anyone from dealing with them and getting ripped off.

Overall a great expirence! Salesman was friendly and knowledgable. Sales manager worked with me on everything and was not pushy. The general manager was very knowledgable and personally assisted in my buying process. I would highly recommend this dealer and these employees to anyone looking for new or used fords.
