I use this dealership to service one of my commuter vehicles. As an Airline Pilot I travel a lot and my time at home is valuable to be. I had an issue at the dealership that would have required me to go to another place to get a required part. Tom went above and beyond to find and replace the required part. It saved me a lot of time and turned what would have been a negative experience into a positive one. Worst dealership ever!! I wanted to give it no stars!!! They had a car that I was interested in so I went to look at it, test drove it, liked it and then started filling out the paper work to purchase it. Everything was going good until we got to the finance department and the guy seemed like he really didn’t want to help. Must of been in to big of a hurry to go home! I had a great experience starting with Kathryn in the service department really coming through for my family in an unexpected pinch. The concern and follow-up were at a service level beyond our expectations. After the repair was completed we decided to buy a new vehicle instead of keeping our previous car which we loved. The reason we chose to do so has lots of aspects but ultimately we wanted to do more business with Kathryn, with Keeley our Sales Professional, and Brian the Sales Manager. Price was second to the relationship they’d created, but they didn’t take advantage of that and we ended up with a nicer vehicle, a better interest rate, and a reasonable payment. It’s all about how you treat people (and their dog) and they turned me into an advocate for their location. Truly impressive.

Even if has been something small like the tire light on (because of cold weather), they jump in my Crosstrek, pull it in & check the pressure, making sure I'm good to go! The Subaru Impreza was my first choice as I searched for a car to lease. When I arrived at the dealership, the salesman (Chris?) was very personable. He showed me the features of the car and let me take a test drive. I like that they let you test drive the car alone. I always feel a little uncomfortable when the salesman comes with you. I prefer to chat honestly with my family while test driving. Anyway, once the test drive was over, Chris ran some numbers. First of all, it took forever - which apparently is part of the "game," but it was very annoying. Second, he offered me a ridiculously low amount for my trade in - only $500! Are you kidding?? It is in good working condition with minimal cosmetic damage. Even KBB said the value would be between $1200 and $1500. They refused to budge above $500, so ultimately, I walked away. I got $1250 from a nearby Mazda dealer and a great lease deal on a 2016 Mazda 3. Your loss, Randy Marion.

I have a long history with Randy Marion, servicing my previous Subaru. The service people were extremely helpful introducing us to the sales staff. Mark Richardson could not have been more helpful. He was extremely informative, exerted NO pressure, and made our experience easy--I got exactly the vehicle I wanted. Mark made himself available after the purchase, and when my car sported a nail in the tire on day 5 of ownership, Mark took care of having it repaired, and with no charge. I cannot say enough good things about this dealership, and Mark Richardson in particular.

The General Manager Charles McCarty, and his son Marshall (Sales Manager), have created a friendly and hassle-free environment to purchase a new or certified pre-owned Subaru. I have a Subaru Tribeca and my car temperature was rising on and off. Finally when I called Randy Marion Subaru and told them what was going on they told me to bring it in as soon as possible. The service department told me my radiator was leaking and my thermostat was bad. I asked them to check the whole car over while it was been repaired and they did. I was informed by Kevin what repairs needed to be done on my car. The dealership even gave me a loaner while my car was being repaired. I felt how a customer should be treated while dealing with service on a car. Being informed at all times is my biggest priority. Even when I just had a brake light that went out they took my car right in and changed it while I waited. You can't get a more satisfactory service department. Thank you Kevin for everything. You and your team are great!

I have had 24 Subaru cars over the years and found they are the best auto made for all weather driving. Whether it be rain snow or ice these , these cars are dependable and will get you to where you are going. Subaru is the best all-wheel drive vehicle automobile that I have ever driven. This makes number 25 for me and I am very happy with It!. I figure that I have driven these cars for more than 3,000,000 miles in all types of weather and they are great automobiles. Some of the supposedly all-wheel drive competitors are only afterthoughts, by the time they shift into all-wheel drive it's too late!

We knew we wanted a small SUV (our first) and looked at Honda, Toyota, Ford, Mazda, Nissan, and Subaru. We made it clear upfront that we were in our "research stage" and were not ready to purchase. We found Randy Marion and Brian Fogarty to be amazing to work with. On our first visit, they explained that they were not high pressure and allowed us to test drive the Forester by ourselves (the only dealership to do so). Additionally, they were the only dealership that did not call us after the visit and this was very much appreciated. After numerous test drives and research, we eventually shrunk the list to the Forester and the Nissan Rogue and found the Subaru provided more of what we were looking for. The purchase itself could not have been easier, with no haggling and a fair price and generous trade in. While this is our first Subaru, if our buying experience is indicative of what we can expect going forward, it will certainly not be our last.

My father and I went to Randy Marion Subaru to take a look at their WRX STI. I prefaced my visit with an email inquiring about their inventory and set up an appointment with Todd Burgie. We scheduled a time to meet and take a look. Every step of the way Todd was there to answer questions and offer options. My dad even took a Legacy for a test drive. We met the General Manager, Charles who was also nice to speak to. The staff at R.M. Subaru take a different approach to selling cars, it seems. Went to look at a 2011 Subaru, which sold the day after we test drove it. Was a first-car for my son, so I didn't want anything too pricey. The Gen'l Mgr made us an offer on a 2015 model for a few thousand more...couldn't pass it up! ALL the guys there were friendly and easy to deal with. I just purchased a 2015 Outback from Jonathan Shapiro at Randy Marion Subaru. It was somewhat of a many month buying experience for me. I had researched the new Outback verses the 2011 Outback that my wife owns and was pleased of the remake. I had my Toyota for 13 years and I wanted to make sure I got this right. I ordered this vehicle just like I wanted it and it took a few weeks to get it but the wait was worth it. I really love this Outback. Everyday it gets better and better. The gas mileage if better than I thought and the 3.6 has all the pep anyone could ever need. Its a little rocket.The buying experience was so smooth. Everyone was knowledgeable thought out the entire experience. Jonathan went over everything about the car before i left the lot and he called me to see if I had any questions that might have come up. My wife had a bad experience at another local Subaru dealership when she bought her Outback and I was not going to let that happen to me. Charles and his staff are wonderful. Bought a new Forester from Todd Burgie at Randy Marion Subaru in Mooresville. They didn't have what I wanted in stock, but found one immediately. Negotiated the deal over the phone in less than 7 minutes, gave them a small deposit over the phone, and picked up the car the next day. Now THAT's the way to sell me a car. I stopped in last Tuesday to look at a new Forester. Mark Richardson went above and beyond to get me the car I wanted. I had a certain color and level I wanted. We test drove a step up from the one I wanted, but Mark did all he could to get me the car I wanted. They produced a 2015 Forester that was used with only 968 miles on it, had more options than I would have bought, a better warranty than new, and was everything I was looking for. They gave me more for my trade than I anticipated and were just all around great people to deal with. With the internet, we all go to the dealership with an idea of what we should pay and what our trade is worth. This is my fourth Subaru and I won't go anywhere else for my next purchase or service. I went in just to look and left with a new car.

Had recently rescued a 110lb Newfoundland which made 3 now in the house and had to get a car they all would fit in that wasn't too high and also had great gas mileage to be used daily for work. Shopped around and decided the Outback was the car for our K-9 family. Had met Todd Burgie on Friday but for some reason decided to go to another dealership on Saturday with my wife because it was closer to home. Biggest mistake in the process. I was getting pushed into a car I wasn't crazy about and just did not get a good vibe. I stopped the process and called Todd. He advised me that they had just what I was looking for and would be there waiting. This was worth the drive, Todd told us everything about the Outback and then some, always made sure we were comfortable and not being rushed. I've bought a bunch of cars in the past, this was by far the best experience I've had. So far the Outback has been performing as advertised and we couldn't be happier. I don't plan on buying a new car for quite some time now but I will direct everyone who asks me about mine to Todd and the team at Randy Marion Subaru.

Everyone at Randy Marion was extremely easy to work with and we had a very nice and enjoyable car buying experience. Todd was not pushy at all and allowed the car to sell itself rather than pressuring us into anything. It was a very laid back and relaxed atmosphere and did not feel like any of the uptight or pushy dealerships I have unfortunately been in before. They let my wife and I test drive the car and go home to talk it over without trying to get us to buy anything before being ready.When it came to buy the car, they did not try to force any extra add ons that I did not want and we were in and out very quickly. Todd gave a follow up call several days later, just to see how we were liking it, which was a really nice touch. If I'm in the Charlotte area when it comes to buying our next Subaru (this was #3), I will definitely go back to Randy Marion.

Jeff Matchem and I talked about 10 days before we came to the lot. When my wife and I arrived at the Subaru store, I asked for Jeff and they sent him out to meet us.Jeff was very friendly and very informative. He told us to look around and let him know when we found something we wanted to try.We drove a Legacy which seemed under powered to my wife. We continued looking and Jeff showed us the 2014 Cross Trek XV and when we drove it we feel in love with it. The vehicle has adequate power and precision handling. It has the feel of a much larger auto.We knew we wanted a Subaru because of the four wheel AWD system. We has only owned AWD vehicles for the last 15 years. We have a new Dodge Durango AWD for traveling on long trips and trust it to go when we are ready to go. We have a 2003 AWD Pontiac Vibe which we love and have never not been able to travel in ice and snow. So Subaru is an obvious choose of car for us.Jeff Matchem is a custom service/salesman all rolled into one heck of a professional.Jeff and Chris Hunter were a great team to work with. I recently purchased a new WRX STI from Randy Marion Subaru. I have to admit i thought I was going to go in have to argue price and have an all day fiasco. But it was the complete opposite. I went into the dealership and immediately Colby greeted me. I had spoke to him on the phone that previous Friday. After negotiations were done i spoke to Chris in finance who made the final process go just as smooth. Before I left the dealership I met the service rep Robert. As for the entire process i couldn't have had a better time. It was relaxing and they even made my fiance and our dog feel comfortable. I would have to recommend this dealership to anyone buying a vehicle. This was my first new car experience, i have always bought used. When I submitted an inquiry I received a phone call within minutes and he was willing to work on the pricing of both my trade in as well as the new Outback. I have spent the past several weeks visiting car dealerships and researching vehicles on line. I finally decided on a 2014 Subaru Legacy Limited. I wanted to purchase locally but could not reach an agreement with the manager at Modern Subaru in Boone who became somewhat rude when he declined my offer. I will say his sales staff were very helpful and friendly. That same day, I went to Randy Marion and Lake Norman Subaru dealerships. From the moment I made eye contact with Todd Burgie, I was so impressed with his friendliness, with his ability to make me feel special (who doesn't love that?) without being intrusive. I just retired after 28 years selling real estate and I know how hard it can be to relate on an individual basis. Todd nailed it! Although I went to Lake Norman after stopping at Randy Marion, I knew I would be going back to Todd. My offer was accepted and I saved money by leaving the northwestern mountains and driving to Mooresville. I am telling all my friends! Oh, and Todd, the restaurant was perfect! In 2011 I began to look for a new Subaru and contacted Jeff by email about the vehicles they had available. At the time WRX's and STI's were in short supply due to it being the end of the year. He stated that if I wanted a specific model that he would give me a great price and followed that up with an email detailing the prices which were far lower than anything in my general area or anywhere in the state for that matter. I still owned my Honda Civic SI and wanted to see if I could private sell it before I traded for a new car. Also my fiance had a motorcycle that we were trying to get rid of prior to the sale so of course we didn't act on a new car purchase at the time. Jeff stayed in contact not always asking about buying a car but asked how things were going otherwise. Then I passed a new WRX in my local area and test drove the vehicle. It was the perfect car but at the wrong dealership. I emailed Jeff right away after I saw that they had the identical vehicle enroute to their dealership. I told him that I wanted the car and within days I had gone from a potential buyer to driving my new pearl white WRX away from Randy Marion Subaru. Every time I called a person answered and at no time did I deal with anyone that didn't have the best customer service I had ever experienced. The purchase process lasted less than an hour and most of the paperwork was completed right when I arrived. Over the phone they gave me an estimated price of what my vehicle would be and I was completely satisfied with the process. They didn't try to see me things I didn't need and only pushed what was necessary. Thanks again Jeff and Chris at Randy Marion Subaru.

We also met the owner/GM, Mr. McCarty who was actually at the dealership well after 6pm. He was awesome as well. This dealership gets "it" and it's what car buying should be. Fairness, honesty and respect toward the customer, along with a top notch facility. We traveled 1.5 hours to get there and we will definitely be back for service. What a great car buying experience. If you want a carnival atmosphere with balloons, popcorn, sales towers and cowboys on stilts- go somewhere else. If you want a truly great experience go to Randy Marion Subaru!!!

I live over two hours away and feel that the drive was worthwhile as the people at both dealerships were very professional and honest. My wife and I bought a 2014 Forester yesterday. An absolutely excellent dealership. Our salesman, Jonathon Shapiro was awesome as was Mr. McCarty who owns/manages the dealership. They were incredibly respectful of us and our time and could not have done a better job of uniting us with our new Subaru. We will definitely travel the 1.5 hours back to get our car serviced. Quite simply, they were the best!!!

I chose this dealership because I have bought 3 other vehicles from Randy Marion and I have always been please with the service I received. Colby corresponded by email and was very helpful and found whatever I wanted and answered any questions I might have with a quick response, no matter how trivial they may have been, he was very helpful and I would suggest Colby to anyone who is interested in purchasing a vehicle, I love my car, it has been everything they said it would be and more. I went to test drive a used Subaru wrx. The sales person and I went out to look at the car he said they just got it in from a customer all service done at their dealer. The car looked very nice I checked out the legroom at 6'3" most cars are very tight. I asked if we could go on a test ride he said they wanted a signed contract with money down first I said no and walked out. Very poor customer service I have never had that happen before. My wife and I have purchased more than 43 cars in the 23 years we have been married and never had that happen.
