I came in thinking of a price in my head and at first we were not even close! The staff at Ray Skillman Chevy NEVER pushed me one way or the other. They were very kind and helpful. This was one of the best buying experiences I have ever had. I went to the dealership to look for a new 4 wheeel drive Silverado. All of the sales where very helpful and spent a great deal of time with me to find the right vehicle that suited my needs and desires. After test driving three different vehicles we were able to complete a deal on that was more than satisfactory with a payment within $4 of my target. I would recommend this dealership and sales staff to anyone.

The sales staff was professional and knowledgeable about the product. My wife wanted an Equinox and they took the time to listen to her and understand her needs. We did give a little notice that we'd be coming down to look at vehicles and this time we felt like our business was appreciated. (When I came down to purchase a truck in June I sort of felt like I was inconveniencing some of the staff.) I'm not a fan of being bombarded by salespeople as soon as we drive into the lot. If I want to look around first I'd like to be given the opportunity to do so. If I want help I can come ask for help.If I'm eligible for discounts, rebates, etc., I may not be aware of all of them. Some guidance would be appreciated (I just found out I missed out on a $1,000 employee appreciation certificate on the Silverado I leased this summer. Had no idea it existed until I just got a "reminder" email that the 2015 certificate was extended until the end of February.) As a customer, I want the best deal that I'm eligible for with a little haggling and in-depth work on my part as possible. As long as I feel like I was treated reasonably well and that my best interests are being looked out for I will return - if not I have no problems looking elsewhere. I understand that the dealership is in business to make money but with you guys being the experts there are undoubtedly some aspects of this car-buying game that you are more aware of than I will ever be.

I researched the vehicle already knew my credit score and was pre-approved. The website offers an ePrice which is a more than what the in-person price was...when that price didn't work the ePrice was offered. Also, the dealership had a good idea of where the vehicles were and were very quick about bringing one to drive and look at. Sales staff were friendly and fun to talk to...not too pushy but it is a business. the sales manager knew the price enough to have a quick counter offer and that was good.

Dropped off car for an oil change. Received call two hours later from service advisor that car was ready for pick-up. The only issue was that car was parked outside in space west of service/parts department and blocked by two other cars. Service advisor could not find keys for either car. My car had to be carefully jockeyed out from between the other two cars adding 30 additional minutes to my pick-up time.

I came in to get a door handle replaced on my 2013 Silverado, an oil change and tire rotation. The service writer was very polite and awesome, as well as the loaner car woman. The work was finished before noon and my truck was washed as well. The only negative is that the service person did not get the inside door panel attached at the top of the door and I had to remove it myself and attach it properly. He must have been in a hurry, but it would have been inconvenient to bring it back.

Although this was to be a routine service appointment, Matt, the service advisor, explained to me some work on the A/C and the fuel injectors, air intake system, and throttle plates that needed to be done. I gave my approval for doing it, and I am glad I did because the performance of the vehicle has been enhanced greatly. Because this would take longer than scheduled, another employee took me home. Both Matt and the attendant who took me home (didn't get his name) were very friendly and professional. Also, the customer lounges at Ray Skillman Chevrolet are top notch--the best I've ever seen. My only complaint about the service department is that when I ask for my tires to be inflated to recommended pressure, it isn't always done.All in all, my experience at this dealership is the best I've had at any dealership.

We were met with Tim Weko for an appt that was set up by our daughter (who is also a buyer with Ray Skillman). Tim was very kind and answered all questions we had. The buying process is very tiring dealing back and forth on an agreed price. Would like to get to the point of an agreed price (and also take into consideration the referral of othere customers who sent us there to be treated well and get a good deal). While being referred and having put in a good word with those who have purchased in the past, did not get the best deal we felt could've been given. Otherwise, the staff were very kind and we finally came to an agreed price. Just dont tell former buyers to send friends and family if you are not willing to give them "great" deals up front.

Greg is shall we say is "The Man" never worked with him until this last experience and it was his professionalism that blew me away the tech doing the repair went above and beyond for an issue that is few and far between and the rental lady sorry I don't remember her name was very personable and great to work with. I am a business owner and if I had 2 employees like them I would try to keep them forever they were that great. When we came to the dealership, we were just looking. We were greated by Marcus, he was very helpful and explained the differnces in the Equinox's. We then went inside and started working with Mike Ramsey. Great Service all the way. We really had planned on buying a new vehicle when we went in, just looking, and in less than 2 hours we test drove, picked an vehicle did paperwork and Marcus then went over all the On start features and set things up and we were on the way home. We had a much better experience this time when we came to the dealership than the last time we stopped in about 3 years ago. We almost didn't stop back at the dealership again, cause of the way we were treated prior. Marcus and Mike have done an outstanding job. And the Finance Manager was great also. Thank you!

Jack Lucas was great to work with as usual. I've been buying cars from him before there was a Ray Skillman! When presented with my financing options by Derrick I was not very happy with the experience from then on. I was not given the best deal available on the first offer. Instead we played games with the interest rate and I am still not convinced I received the best available. If I had known we were negotiating I'd have asked for a different price. I do not enjoy playing games when buying a car. Never had to with Mahoney or even Watson.

I had been told of some issues with both the oil pan and the axle's leaking and after a week I could see the spots on the garage floor were getting increasingly bigger we brought the car in for the repairs that had been quoted. Went to have a tire replaced that was losing air. This was the third one that needed replaced over the course of the last couple of years. Overall my experience was very good, but I have two points to make.1) When it came time to pick up my vehicle and complete the deal I felt VERY awkward sitting out in public discussing my income, social security number, etc. I overheard the lady beside me discuss her meager salary, her disability, poor credit rating, and how her daughter would be co-signing her loan. 2) I had originally contacted the dealership by email, I received too many automated responses, and sometimes the name of the sender of the email did not match up with the author of the email. I did not feel I had good email communication with the sales staff. I finally came to the dealership in person.

Jay, my service rep was very nice and answered the couple of questions I had and even found me a coupon deal on the service I had done. The dealership I called originally 30 months ago when I first moved here from Florida to set up an appointment for an oil change that is much closer to me on Washington Street that services Buick than this dealership division could not even get to me for 5-6 weeks. But when I called this dealership they said bring your vehicle on over and we can do it now for me. I really feel the the website needs to take down the ability to schedule appointments online. No one ever responds when I schedule. Its confusing and its frustrating to know that I scheduled something and got no response. I tried calling just to see if anything had been done and they had no record of me scheduling. I've only had to use the service center twice but this has happened both times. I also don't understand why Saturday is an option to make an appointment online when you don't take appointments on Saturday. It just needs to be a little more user friendly, to match the staff.

Was a little frustrated at first when they claimed my lease payment was only $30 less a month on a truck that was $9000 less than the original Z71 I drove, and was ready to walk out. But, they came back a couple of different times with much better numbers, and then I was ready to talk. I don't understand why buying a car is so different than anything else. You don't barter on price on anything else except a car, and it's a very frustrating experience. Otherwise, everyone at the dealership was great.

Truck failed to start at gas station. After 2 1/2 hrs Ray Skillman had a toll truck pick up truck and take it back to dealership. Received a loaner car until repairs could be made.Later that day received a call from Ray Skillman to inform me that repairs had been made and vehicle ready for pick up. Issues still persist with battery. Will wait until dead again and call service department since they can find nothing wrong with battery or charging system.

On Monday I brought my 2015 Equinox to the service department because on Saturday afternoon it would not start and had to be jumped. Upon arrival I was greeted and told that it they may not be able to get to me but would try to work me in. After about an hour I was put into a courtesy loaner car and sent on my way. The service department finished with my car on Wednesday. No problem was identified and my car was returned to me.

We appreciated the fact that we were given a loaner car to use while our car was being repaired. The staff was very professional and polite. Disappointed that you could not find the problem we are STILL having with the "Service Air Bag" light coming on. Everyone was friendly and the service was completed in a timely fashion. I have two concerns that prevent me from rating this experience a 5 star experience. 1. Staff needs to better utilize the online appointment feature. I originally made an appointment on January 31st, but when I arrived was informed that the Volt specialist was not working that day and I had to reschedule. Upon arrive each time I have my name and car and was asked what needed to be done. The reason I made the appointment was because of an email I received from Ray Skillman suggesting service, created a reservation on the website, but still had to search my phone to find the exact services that they had emailed me about. I don't understand why that information wouldn't already be in your system. 2. My second concern is that I on the Monday after my Saturday appointment I received an email suggesting that I come in for the 15,000 services on the car. When I was there the odometer was at 14,600. I believe that they could have either completed the service all in one visit or at least recommended that I make another appointment while I was there. The email also asked me to call to set an appointment, I'm not sure why I can't use the online scheduling feature rather than having to make a call. Overall, I am however very happy with the Ray Skillman Service and people, just a little frustrated with not being able to use the online tools that are available.

Fastest oil change and ture rotation I've had done just disappointed they didn't reset my info on my dash to let me know the percentage of oil remaining. Also I've asked to have my rear reflector ordered a couple times and have yet to still be notified about it looks like I'll have to order one myself. The people that work there are always nice.

I visited Ray Skillman discount Chevrolet in response to a very nice looking used Red Ford Explorer listed on CARS.COM with low mlleage and was described to be in very good condition. The salesman was very nice and assisted me in looking over the vehicle before a test drive, there was no history of the Explorer available. The explorer was indeed in good condition both interior and exterior. We entered the vehicle to take a test ride and stopped to get gas. Within a short period of time during the ride, a loud roar was heard coming from the rear of the vehicle, I told the salesman ,that is a bad rear differential. The salesman requested we return to the dealership to have a mechanic take a look. The service manager confirmed, yes this vehicle had been found earlier to have a bad differential. and the vehicle was to be sent to the auction. I could not understand why they would let a customer test drive a vehicle knowing it was in need of a major repair. Had I recognized the major problem,would they have sold me the vehicle, as is?. I recently purchased a "certified" used vehicle. By the time I got the vehicle home, I realized I didn't have an owners manual, or manual on the installed remote starter.
