I am recovering from a stroke, so my brain tends to wear out really fast and I really needed to minimize my time at the dealership. Chris Hawks worked with me via text until we agreed on an out the door price with my trade in. The next morning I met Chris at the dealership and he had all of the paperwork ready so that the test drive, paperwork, and financing was done in about 50 minutes. About 15 minutes later, my car was cleaned up and ready to go, and Chris gave me a run through of the car and setup my phone on the Bluetooth. Chris was the nicest guy and was easy going, patient and kind, and such a pleasure to work with. There was absolutely no price haggling and he already had the paperwork prepared for the exact price that we agreed upon over text messages the day before. I've never had such a pleasant car buying experience, and this is the 10th car that I've bought from a dealership over the past 30 years. I drove 34 miles to this dealership even though there is another Kia dealership just a few miles away from me, and I will definitely look for Chris Hawks at Rodeo Kia the next time I'm looking for a car. Thanks Chris!!! And by the way, I love our new Sportage!

I have to say that Mr. Chris Hawk is the best sale man in Arizona. I had gone to just about all the dealerships in Arizona and I was always given the run around and always ended up getting denied. We purchased our 2016 Kia Soul through AAA's Sun City office. AAA received our car from Rodeo Kia. Rodeo Kia took care of ALL the financing and paperwork, got us a VERY competitive interest rate, and all within 45 minutes of our 10:30 AM appointment with AAA. Since our car was already in the parking lot at AAA, we were on our way home with our new Soul in a little less than 2 hours! THANK YOU Rodeo Kia and AAA!

I have serviced my 2014 kia soul here for 2 years, pretty much monthly (I drive a lot). Car has been trouble free, so I decided to purchase a second one fro this location. My salesman, Thomas was great and I received a fair deal. Very easy negotiation process. The finance guy pushed a little more about the extended warranty, which I told he I won't need again. I've driven my other one 80000 miles in two years, problem free. But that's part of his job, and he wasn't pushy at all. Overall great service from sales department and I'm sure I'll be back on a couple of years again

This was BY FAR the best, most convenient and easiest experience I've ever had in car shopping (or anything else for that matter). My salesman, Stuart Hilfer, was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and honest. He helped find the best car fit for needs at the best price - all on line. I shopped for KIAs and other makes for this buy. Rodeo Kia and Stuart stood head and shoulders above all the rest combined. If you are in the market for a KIA go to him. Anthony the sales person was pleasant and helpful. He took the time to answer all of our questions. I understand how sales work and Anthony worked with us on the pricing. We got to your dealership late in the evening and everyone was patient with us trough the whole process. Rick the finance guy was great he explained all of our option to us in an easy to understand format. Even tough the payments were more than we anticipated we were satisfied. Rick was able to get us a lower interest rate and called us a day latter to come back in to sign some more paperwork. He was able to lower our payment by more than $50. Before that we were satisfied customers. But because of that extra step that he took we are forever customers. We will come back to Rodeo Kia for our next Kia and we will recommend our friends, family and anyone looking for great customer service.

The sales managers here are downright TERRIBLE, sarcastic, rude, and as arrogant as they come. Please read on and I will more than justify my comments. (Caution it is lengthy)In 2012 I was in the market for a Sorrento for my wife. Stopped here first and got the we will beat anyones price spiel, they were $2500 higher than Sands KIA (same make, model, and add-ons, identical car) so I bought it from Sand'sIn 2015, it was time for me to trade in my BMW 335i for something more practical. My wife and I just had our 3rd daughter and needed 2 SUVs . We looked at Peoria Kia, Rodeo, and Sands. After stopping into Rodeo, after having a flyer sent in the mail regarding their giveaways and 0% promotion for 72 months. I met a cocky salesman from the East Coast who talked numbers and arrogantly stated no one will beat our prices. I was thinking to myself; Ive heard it before and you lost my business. After quoting an over-inflated price, he attempted a hand shake. Do we have a deal? he asked. I stated that I will see what Sands will do since they beat the price on our last Sorrento. However, I gave my word that I would stop back before buying. Sands offered the same model complete with the convenience package and roof racks with cross bars. They also offered me $12k for my BMW trade which was $3-$4k less than book (expected for a dealer trade). Rodeo only offered me $9k and Mr. Jersey Shore didnt know, I have been in sales since before he was born and a finance professional (had my HP10bii+ with me). He tried really hard and I amused my wife by telling her everything he was going to do before he did it. We finally got to the real numbers and a hand in my face so we have a deal?. I said we have a deal if I get the cross bars (which were not included in the model he offered). He then manifested on me and said were not here to play games, if they are giving you the cross bars, buy it from them!. I said OK, thanks for making my decision for me. I called my salesman (Brett) at SANDs, and told him I was on my way. So Mr. Slick lost another $35,000 deal over $70 bucks. Today (3/26/2016) was my third stop just to look at what was on the lot. We met a nice salesman (Iman) who spent over a half hour with us, so I figured I could give these guys a shot again. We are trading the 2012 and looking at a Sedona for my wife. After a test drive I promised Iman I would return with the expectation of privately selling our 2012 instead of a dealer trade. If they beat Sands offer, I would have given them the business. HOWEVER, I noticed the same salesman from 2015 at the managers desk (they actually promote these guys for being jerks and losing business). Iman went back and they blurted out loud enough for the entire dealership to hear he wants us to take $15k off the price, yeah RIGHT! I NEVER asked for anything off of the price, and at that point was pissed and left the dealership. Simply put, these guys HATE it when you are better at their tactics then they are, and they are as slimy as you can get. Do yourself a favor and Make the drive to SANDS in Surprise. You will be glad you did! I will never step foot in Rodeo again and ALL of my clients, friends, family, and colleagues (and there are many), who ask my advice about purchasing a KIA will receive the same warning. After this purchase, Rodeo will have lost over $120,000 of vehicle purchases from us in just 3 years. Way to close the business!

We went in at 5 on a Sunday night and they close at 6 and Bud stayed the whole not worrying about leaving at 6 .. I am very impressed with the service department. They only do the work that needs to be done. For example, KIA recommends replacing the air filter at 30,000 miles, but I was told that mine wasn't that dirty, so it didn't need to be replaced. Greeted as soon as I got out of my car and not in a pushy kind of way. Very friendly and helpful group of folks that really know how to take care of their customers. Inventory was more than adequate so I could make a better buying decision. Prices are displayed on every vehicle, so there's no surprises or second guessing. There was none of the running back to the manager for approval like we've all experienced before. All the numbers were right there in front of you, and again, no surprises. It was the fastest I've ever bought a new car! Bud Coyner is an awesome guy to deal with, I highly recommend him! Very helpful, knowledgeable of his product, and an all around nice guy. My wife loves her new Forte Hatchback. I'll be back in a year for a Soll!

I went in to service my 2008 KIA Sorrento and left with a brand new van! Leaving the car at the service dept., I went to look around the newly remodeled sales floor and was approached by a floor manager who introduced me to Bud Coyner. I explained to Bud that my wife and I wanted to trade in our old van with a new one, but we both had bad credit and we were way upside down with payments. Bud said to give them a chance and see what happens. The process was fast, no pushing, no back and forth deals with manager. I was amazed by Bud's knowledge, willing to help and awesome attitude. I went down there with high hopes and still felt I wouldnt get my way however I was wrong and they did everthing they could so I could have it my way. We brought our 2012 Honda Civic into Rodeo Kia to possibly do a trade. We met Bud Coyner who let us take a test drive in a Kia Forte. I was looking for a red one, however and this one was dark blue. Bud immediately talked with Della Arkills to try to locate a red one. She was able to find one in Tucson - but they had to arrange to bring it to us in Avondale. We were so impressed with the Forte that we met with Greg "Double G" Garrett and completed our deal. They gave us a fair price on our Honda. I had also wanted a cargo net installed. We had to wait several hours for our red Forte to come from Tucson. We thought we would have to come back for the cargo net - but Della surprised us - it had already been installed! We came back the next day to have the windows tinted - and again received excellent service. We have been very pleased with our treatment and service and personnel at this Kia Dealer - Rodeo Kia in Avondale, AZ.

He stayed with Rodeo after Salazar sold out. He also was with Michael Crawford. He has been there along time. What I found was that he knows his stuff !!! Even the managers asked him for info on a car when I was there. He was easy to work with and the time was so little that I spent there !!!!!! all done in 1 1/2 hrs. I went just to test drive the 2014 Kia Optima Hybrid and ended up leaving with the 2013 version. Quintin the sales guy was great to work with. I really enjoyed working with him and didn't feel like I was being cheated. I felt very comfortable with him. Quintin even washed my parents non Kia car for them and dried and cleaned the tires by hand afterwards! No dealership has ever done that for me before. He went above and beyond. I'd love to work with Quintin again in the future and bring him more business. Double G in financing was awesome as well. Did a great job and very personable. He took very good care of me. While waiting I have access to the computer in the lobby area which makes the time go faster. Also, the fresh pastries and fruit made available to customers are most welcome. The very best thing about my recent service experiences has been service advisor Krysta Moore. It's great to have a female service advisor that I, as a woman, can relate to. She has a good working knowledge of cars and has been able to answers my questions and address any concerns on an explanatory level that I can understand. She speaks plain English and we women appreciate that, especially since so many of us have little comprehensive knowledge of how our vehicles work. Krysta is the best; she's a keeper! In speaking with other ladies in the waiting area they, too, have been grateful to have a female service advisor.

While driving yesterday, the transmission on my 2006 Kia Sedona failed to shift properly and the service engine light came on. i brought in our 2011 kia sorento for its 30k mile oil,lube job, on my way out to pick up the car i noticed person over washing off another vehicle,so i walked over to ask him about detailing the engine compartment, i told him that we have the auto butler program on the car since we bought it new and wondered how much it cost to do the engine, he thought it was included but said to go ask jose at the rear of the shop. i walked back and asked him about it, he informed me that it was not included, but said, bring it over and he would do it for me.i had many questions for jose about how he did his job, what products he used and where he got them, he was very helpful. jose went out of his way to be sure that the tires and wheels were cleaned as well, i could tell that he takes pride in his work. my wifes sorento looked sharp when leaving the lot, great job and service jose!jeff larson

We had a terrible weekend going from dealer to dealer in the Avondale and Goodyear area. We encountered much of the same dealership behavior at each place and were just getting fed up. By the time we got to Salazar Kia, we had determined that if we could not get things done the way we wanted that we would just give up on buying a car at this time. We were over $6,000 upside-down on our 2005 Mercedes and other dealerships tried to make us believe that we could only accept what they wanted to offer. Our salesman, Gregg, and Bob Acord were so great! Not only were we able to get things done, but we were able to get a much better rate than another dealership claimed was even possible, got a great deal on the car, and never felt like we were in a traditional dealership setting. This dealership does not belong to a family of dealerships but to one guy and he runs the place right. I will do business here in the future and recommend anyone else to do the same.

I first contacted David Minjarez through Internet sales via the Salazar Kia web site. David responded promptly with diligence and courtesy, providing thorough information that I requested, as well as optional comparisons. Other dealerships with Internet sales were un-personalable and never really would answer questions, they just wanted you to get down there and "show you what they could do". My wife and I are a very busy hard working couple with a family, finding time to shop for a vehicle is difficult. David made that much easier on us by communicating through numerous emails. When we finally were able to meet with David, it was like we already knew him as an "email chat" friend. He knew what we were looking for, he had all the info from our emails, with options and finances there for us to look at, and didn't try to sway into something different to make a sale. David Minjarez worked with us as a courteous professional, and did his best to make sure we were happy with our purchase from beginning to end. My wife and I went shopping for a new car since we are having an addition to our family. When we showed up to Salazar Kia we were greeted by not 1 but 2 very friendly sales people butthis wasn't the normal car shopping experience that most dread. Once we were greeted the sales people actually let us roam the lot without hassle and hovering. This was a pleasant surprise!! As we roamed the lot one of the sales people came out to us and handed us a couple of waters, introduced himself (Mike Bergesson), and allowed us to continue searching the lot once again. Once we figured out what questions we had we headed back to the sales floor where all of our questions were quickly answered without the pushy sales techniques that you encounter at many other dealerships. We decided to take a test drive and again no pushy sales techniques during the ride. Mike was so helpful and HONEST that we ultimately decided to run some numbers. There was no hassle or haggle by Mike and he introduced us to the finance manager on staff who gave us the rundown. I had been looking for a preowned late model SUV, but wasn't sure if I could afford it. I found one I liked on Salazar's website. I did not want to be hounded by a salesman, as I didn't know if I could afford the payments or not, so I sent an email inquiring about the SUV I was interested in. I also emailed details about my trade (including my VIN), my credit, and asked him to guesstimate a monthly payment. Mike Bergesson responded to my email promptly with the information I requested. The payment sounded great and definitely within my budget, so my husband and I went down to see the SUV the next day. Had Mike requested my phone number, or hounded me continuously, that may have turned me off. But he didn't, it was an easy laid-back experience. He replied in the manner I preferred (email), and I definitely didn't feel pressured or hounded. That is what brought my sale to Salazar Kia. The free lunch and money machine were a great experience too, and one that we weren't necessarily looking for, but enjoyed nonetheless. Robert Traslavina the Finance Manager was friendly and made all the paperwork an enjoyable experience too. The general manager Tom Reilly was very accomodating and helped close the deal. We had a great experience at Salazar Kia, and we didn't even purchase a Kia! :)

I was looking forward to shopping for a new car with the same enthusiasm one usually has when visiting the dentist for a root canal. And frankly after visiting the first dealership I figured I would need a shot of Novocain before the day was over.But the experience at Salazar Kia was quite painless. I drove a Soul, liked it but wanted to drive other vehicles first. There was no full-court press, no silly game playing, just a friendly atmosphere a solid offer for my trade and a reasonable price point on the car.After deciding a Soul was what I wanted I set an appointment for a few days later. Stewart and I quickly negotiated the price. While they didnt have the color I wanted on the lot, they had one delivered from another dealership in around 90 minutes. In the meantime the finance department found me a loan at a better APR than I anticipated. Im glad I found this dealership. I really appreciate how Stuart and Salazar Kia do business.

Mike was super helpful in helping my family and I choose the best vehicle for me. He figured out what my style was and showed me SUVs and trucks from there. I loved that he wasn't cheesy or trying too hard. It made me feel like I wasn't getting schmoozed into getting a truck that I did not want. Also, the woman manager on duty was also very helpful and was able to explain everything that had to do with my credit in language that I could understand. Overall, this was a great experience especially since all of the other dealerships I went to were no where near as helpful and welcoming.

We brought in our Sorento for an oil change and auto butler but when I asked him to was our Optima too he never batted an eyelash always smiling. Working with Mike is the best. My wife and I visited the dealership right about closing time. We had no idea that the dealership closed at 8pm, which most close at 9pm. Karvin Drake and Bob Acord were amazing. It was really no pressure to buy. Karvin suggested that we test drive the car just to even see if we liked it. We fell in love with the car. We proceeded with the begining paperwork but couldn't reach a deal that night. The very next morning Bob called my wife as i was at work and told him that we were able to get the payment at what we wanted. So that next day i arrived at the dealership and left in an hour and a half. They took the time to go over features of the car while i was waiting for finance to get finished processing, which was painless in its own right. I have purchased several new cars in my time and this by far has been the best experience so far. We love our new Optima and further down the road we could possibly be back for a new car for my wife as well. I would recomend this dealer to anyone. Bob acord assisted my parents with their purchase of a new Serento in 2011, so naturally they referred me to Salazar Kia (and Bob) when i needed a new car. since Bob was no longer on the sales floor, i was referred to Stuart Hilfer with ALL of my questions. Stuart and I communicated for 4 days via Email and Phone going over my "limited" financing options, and finding a car that worked. When i saw a used Nissan Sentra online, Stuart assured me that it would be there on Saturday when i came in. I was able to Finance the car, and drove off of the lot in less than 3 hours because of the deticated service provided prior to my coming into the dealership. In 40 years of buying cars for myself and my children I have never dealt with such an honest dealership; whose staff, including the owner, Hector Salazar, went out of their way to deliver satisfaction after the deal. Mr. Salazar's promise to contact him directly if I had any problems was truly a promise that was carried out. It was also a promise that focused only on my satisfation without any consideration on their part of how much it would cost them. Not once, during the after sale period did I ever feel that anyone at the dealership wanted me to pull my wallet out. Not only did they did they gladly take care of things to my satisfation, they exceeded any of what I thought would be a reasonable and even did so at cost to themselves.The only thing I can think to compare their actions to would be Marine Corps officers or medieval knights who were bound to promises until what they promised was accomplished, regardless of the time required or costs incurred.If you want a fair deal on a new or used car, and live in Maricopa county this is the dealership you should be doing business with. Never dealt with such a great bunch of people.And, finally, in my widest imaginings did I ever think that I would be moved to say any of this stuff.

This dealership goes above and beyond any other dealership I have dealt with in the past. So last month we decided we wanted a newer vehicle, so we went back and saw Mike and Tyler again. I went in on Saturday 08/11/12 to purchase a new car. I first dealt wirh Marcos (a new salesman) and then his trainer Saul. We looked at the Kia Sportage first, but then decided on getting a Sorento. We test drove 2 different vehicles (1 EX new and 1 SX used). We let Marcos know what options we were looking for and the price we wanted to pay per month. He then partnered with Bob (Manager) to talk price. This was late in the evening at this point, so we agreed to come back the next morning and give Bob time to locate a vehicle that matched our needs (he assured us he would make it happen). The next day, we were told there was not exact match and it now seemed there was some confusion with what options came with what trim (LX, EX, SX) and what trim we had asked for. Bob came back with some numbers on what ended up was a few different vehicles. They showed us the price printout with all terms and rates and we went back and forth a few times on price. What became really confusing is every time the Bob or Saul (who now got involved as well), came back to the table, the "trim" on the car was different as well as the sale price. So now with 3 people involved with us, it got very confusing as to what vehicle we were actually talking about and it was clear the 3 of them were not on the same page. It felt a bit like a bait and switch with everyone calling it a misunderstanding. So after several hours at the dealership and my fiance now in tears, we ended up purchasing a vehicle that did not match exactly what we were looking for, at a price that seemed like an OK deal at the time, but was confusing and a bit shady. The only reason we went ahead with the purchase is that I needed to get a new car by Monday so I could get to work, as the one I traded in was non-functional.Now, just 3 days after purchase (Tuesday), I went back to the dealership because the car was not driving straight. The service guys took a look at it and said it needed a wheel alignment probabaly (I wish I had noticed during the test drive). In addition, I also had to make an appointment to repair the physical damage to the car that was already on it from the lot (cracked window bezel, which was not notied until final inspection before we left). Also, since it was missing a 2nd set of keys, that had to get ordered (Saul forgot do so the day we bought the car, so he ended up ordering it on Tuesday when I went in, without even acknowleding he screwed up). So this comning Wednesday, Salazar Kia wil have my brand NEW car ALL day to accomplish repairs/service that it should NOT need and I have to take time out of my day to take care of this. I feel like I had a really bad experience and want to give the car back and get one from somewhere else with the things I wanted in it. No one really seemed sorry that my new car was screwed up day ONE and I'm not satified. I want MR. Salazar to speak to me in person and explain why my new car is not working correctly and why I paid the price of a new car for one that was damaged and needed service. I will NEVER reccomend anyone to this dealership.

I bought a 2012 new Kia Optima from Salazar Kia last month. My choice was between this car and another similar car but different dealer. I decided to go with Salazar Kia because I thought they had great customer service. However since signing on the dotted line I believe I have made the wrong choice, I don't feel you're a valued customer after that signature. My first complaint is when I bought my car it was dirty, even after they claimed to spend the 2 hours cleaning it while I waited. There was sticky stuff on my seats and smug marks in many places. For a new car I did not expect this however I was in a rush so asked to have it detailed at a later date. My driver seat belt was sticking, they told me its new, it needs to be broken in really!? Never heard of that but agreed to drive it and see what happened. Of course on a Friday afternoon my seat belt would no longer lock, after calling Kia I was told it would be in by Tuesday morning. So my week old new car was lacking safety and they brushed it off. When Tuesday came I still heard nothing from them so I began to call the sales, I was told on 4 different occasions the parts department is with other customers call back after the fourth time that was annoying... why can't I leave a message and have them call me back? Finally I explained to her this was the fourth time calling and I needed to speak with someone, she took my name and number but I never heard back from them. I had to call again Thursday morning and basically tell her I was not hanging up until I spoke with someone. I spoke with the parts department and had to argue with them that I had ordered the seat belt the previous week because according to him they had no record of this!? All while being transferred back and forth between parts and service departments. Finally. I was able to bring my car in to have the seat belt fixed and at that point yes they did get the job done in a timely manner. As for my detail I was owed, they had my car in to have a spoiler added that was part of the purchase, I was told my detail would be done at that time. I dropped my car off at 7:30 am it was suppose to be done by noon instead I got a call around 1pm that if I wanted my detail done it would be awhile longer. I agreed to this so about 3pm my car was finished I was told, When I picked my car up the spoiler was nicely done however the car was filthy..Worse condition than what I left it in. The person driving my car to service it left his trash in my side door and a quarter of a tank of gas gone, when I'm getting 31 MPG I'd like to know where this service place was!? Really Salazar Kia!? So I've had to take 2 days off work due to their "great service" Bottom line I think their service is only great until you buy; now I'm stuck with them! Ugh never again will I buy from them nor will I recommend them to anyone!

I have been extremely impressed with this KIA dealership. After a month long search for a car and dealing with many unpleasant dealerships adding on so many fees, going here was a pleasant relief. I went by myself and I am young and they didn't not try to overdue the price or add on a bunch of things I didn't need and even said I could drive it across town to my dad if he needed to see it. David Erickson helped me so much through the whole process! Even my parents said that because this experience was so streamlined and stress free they would visit this location again! It was really nice to feel like I had a friend helping me out! If they have the car you are looking for you will not find a better dealership or price for the car.

We went to Salazar because we had bought a Sorento a couple years prior from a salesman we loved. So we went back for our second car to find out that he was no longer there, but for good reason on his behalf. But Bob Acord was there and remembered us and was so great to work with. He made us feel welcome and was very efficient and to the point which is what we wanted. He was very friendly and accommodating. I recieved a letter in the mail that said I was pre-approved for a new car and that I might be able to get my car payment lowered, so I called and made an appointment. I was pleasantly surprised to find that Tim Sheridan still worked there. He sold us our first Kia in 2009 and was very friendly, helpful,and knowledgeable about the Kia product. Tim was great and made me feel like I was in complete control of my own decision without pressuring me to buy. If I didn't like a certain car, he didn't try to persuade me into liking it. He just said, "Ok, let's go look at something else." Although, we weren't able to get our payment lowered, the staff at Kia did everything they could to get the payment within our budget and we drove away in a much nicer car than our trade-in. We are very happy with the service and hospitality we received from Tim, Bob, and Della. It was also nice to know that Bob even remembered us from previous visits to the service department with our old Kia. I have never received that kind of personalized service at any other dealership and I will be referring anyone I know who is looking to buy a new car to Tim.

My wife and i were referred to Salazar Kia from a friend George Mower. We walked in to Kia Salazer on 1/21/2012. George sold his Mercedes to the owner of salazar Kia. When we went in we had a good experience from Saul Ramierez. He was very knowledgable and friendly. He knew ALOT about the cars and took his time and let us test drive a few of the models. I was introduced to Saul and Steve( sales manager)on 1/15/2012 from my friend George , both Steve and Saul said they would give us a good deal and give us a price " at cost". When the time came to sit down and talk price, after several hrs of negotiating we came to the price of 26,742. That price was written down on a piece of paper. We took the deal. By that time we had been there several hrs, we were tired, hungy and in a hurry to get to a show we had tickets to. We signed the papers without really looking over the paperwork like we should have. WE TRUSTED YOUR DEALERSHIP. That was a huge mistake on our part. When we left with the car and got to dinner, we reviewed the terms and then realized that the terms were switched to 84 months instead of 72. The amount financed was 31,500. We were FURIOUS!! We couldn't sleep all night and couldn't wait to get back in to the dealership in the morning. We called Saul within 30 min of leaving the dealership that night. In the morning we went in and Steve was very rude. He LIED and said that was what we agreed to. %^&%$hit. When we asked him where he came up with the price of 31,500 he could not give us an honest answer and said that he had to raise the price because we had no equity even though we came in with a $5000.00 trade. He finally ended by saying " fine, lets unwind the deal" our intentions were to get our Avalance back OR to change the terms. We were upset when we left and immediatly went shopping. We found a great deal at Nick Mayer Kia. Clement and Joe Lopez were amazing. We got a way better deal at a lower interest rate AND. . .. . . . added the extended warranty and the car alarm. Just for the record we will NEVER step foot in your dealership again OR refer anyone there. As a matter a fact we will spread the word how poor your sales mgr is and to not go there.. . . we did have one positive outcome though and we love your Kia Optima. Right from the first time my daughter and I arrived at the dealership we felt very comfortable (we were there twice)everyone was very friendly and respectful. Bob asked about what type of car I was looking for and listened as I discribed what I had in mind for what I wanted in a vehicle. He showed me what was available and I ended up buying the first car I test drove at a reasonable price. Everyone we spoke with was very helpful and answered my questions to my satisfaction. Overall I am very happy with my choice. I bought a 2012 KIA Sorento. I am just sorry I don't remember the name of everybody that helped me make my choice.

I recently had gone to Sands Chevrolet who tried to sell me a 2010 chevy aveo with no warranty and wanted to get a deal to charge me 360 a month and told me all kinds of false stuff and basically i think i should use the world swindle me. So I went to Salazar kia. They were very nice..quick and put me on the first time buyer loan. I am only 26 years old with limited credit and a good work history. Kia by the way has the best first time buyer program on the market with 9% interest. Which is good if you have no credit. Chase offered me a loan at 19 percent interest.Salazar kia filled my tank all the way with gas and gave me free oil changes for the year. I have had the car for four months and just did an oil change and they wash the car to. Very excited at that! haha Overall it was good service and they didnt hound me.

The staff members we dealt with couldn't have been more professional, more friendly, nor more concerned with my husband and I getting the vehicle that best fit our needs. Richard was great. Noticing the other staff members as them maneuvered through that busy, busy showroom, they were all smiling. What a concept!!! Smiles at work!!! The Finance manager was also spectacular. And of course, at the end of our purchase Della came by to set up our first oil change. Too bad you coudln't bottle that smile. Congratulations Salazar Kia, you've obviously hired the best people possible. We had a fine time, more like visiting with new friends than a shopping expedition. These guys are crooks....Bottom line! I was shopping for a used car and have had three conversations with these clows....Have offered them reasonable offers many times and still nothing. The price of the car has gone down two thousand dollars in the last month and is now UNDER my offer! One guy (stewart) told me to come back when I can afford the car. HAHA what an idiot. Ive already been pre-approved with half cash down. Come talk to me when you get a RESPECTABLE job! Stay away from this car dealership. They are nothing but crooks and just in to squeeze you down for every penny you have. The sales manager from the beginning was like yeah I own the car for 13600....So you mean to tell me that now the car is listed at 13994 that your satisfied in making a measly 394 dollars??!! Yeah right! My point exactly! F*%!!#* douche bags! I wouldnt buy balloons from these guys!

A few weeks ago I took my 2009 Rondo w 24k to Salazar for oil/filter change and nitrogen refill. After it was done, I drove home 4mi and checked the tires. They were still low at 30psi, the oil was still the same worn color, and the oil filter was the same dusty oil filter. This means that neither of these services had been performed at all. When I emailed my complaint to the service mgr, he apologized and told me he would give me 50% off on my 30k service, but did not offer to correct their current service failure. So I went to a Kia competitor who replaced the oil with fresh clean oil, and put on a brand new oil filter the very first time! When I have a choice between a dealer who won't correct their mistakes, and a dealer who does the work right the first time, guess who I'm going back to? Not Salazar!

I would have to say that my overall experience was not pleasant and I do not plan on returning to this dealership. I feel that the communication from the service manager(s) was lousy. I was not told that the part being replaced was refurbished and being done at a different shop (a non dealer). I was also told by Adrian that I could have my old part, when I picked up my car the part was not there. After talking to the owner (hector) I was told it was a core part and I would have to pay to get the part.WTF!? when I picked up my car it had a dirty windshield (probably from sitting for 3 weeks) when I tried to clean off the dirt my windshield washer fluid was bone dry! I left the dealer and got on the freeway and the car was shaking really bad, I when I inspected the vehicle I notice that one of my tires was super low (it was under 20 PSI). I was very disappointed that they would give me my car back in that condition, I called Hector the owner and he told me to come back and he would check all the fluids and give a multi point inspection, Ill pass, I hope to never have to deal with this dealer ship again. If you decide to bring your vehicle here I would ask for Hector to oversee, he did sound genuine about wanting a good reputation, I dont think the employees here have the same concern.

My first dealings with this dealership was in July 2006. I had a horrible experience with the then Avondale Kia, which I detailed in an earlier review. Last August (2010) I was quite surprised to be contacted by Hector Salazar, new NEW owner (purchased from Michael Crawford, who had purchased it from Avondale Kia) of what is now known as Salazar Kia. I conversed with Hector in both email and phone. He apologized for my experience (of which he had no control) and asked if there was anything he could do to make it right. As 4 years had passed and the past issues were put to rest, I said no. He told me to contact him directly when I was ready to purchase a new vehicle. As I was impressed that Hector took the time to contact me right after he purchased the dealership, I decided to contact him again a week ago and let him know I was ready to purchase a new 2011 Kia Sportage EX. He told me he would make sure I was happy with my purchase. I was then contacted by Tom Reilly, the GM of Salazar Kia. Needless to say, every aspect of the purchase was fantastic. I did my homework (as EVERYONE should do) and knew which vehicle I wanted, the invoice price of the car, what discounts Auto Buy programs were getting, and the real value of my trade in.Every aspect of this buying experience was great. The price we agreed on was considerably lower than the other Auto Buy programs and we agreed on a very good trade in price. I felt no pressure and was even told I could think about it AFTER we agreed on the price. I did, and was back at the dealer in a few hours to make the purchase. I was able to take delivery in a little over an hour after I returned to Salazar. Not only am I now singing the praise of Salazar and highly recommend them, I will most definitely be back to shop them when I'm ready to make my next car purchase.Thanks to Hector for keeping his word and turning around a crappy dealership. Also thanks to Tom and Mike for making this a pleasant buying experience for me.Dealerships are in business to make money. We are trying to save money. Do your homework before you even step in a dealership. Know what you want, know what it's invoice price is, and know what your trade is worth.

I had a power window repaired and I have no problem with the repair. While it was being repaired, I was given a loaner vehicle. The loaner vehicle had a crack at the bottom of the windshield but I didn't report it to the company. When I returned the vehicle, I was told I need to pay for the damage. I ended up splitting the cost of the windshield with the dealership. I wasn't pleased but since I hadn't reported the crack when I took the loaner, I didn't have any way to defend my position. The person I worked with was David Sanchez. Mr. Sanchez ended up making up a story about when and how I returned the vehicle, and when I tried to correct him, he then lied about an earlier conversation we had had, all to back up his story. The sad thing was that his lie didn't have anything to do with whether or not I was responsible for paying the damage. But because of his dishonesty, I won't be a future customer of the dealership.

Took my Kia Optima in for service. On the KIA Service Evaluation sheet, some of the checked off "good" items in the Technical Section were obviously not looked at. If the items that were obviously in need of attention and not looked at, I can't TRUST that the service was done properly. I will NOT return to Salazar for any service on my vehicle and would advise other Kia owners to have their vehicles serviced elsewhere.

I visited Avondale Kia as part of the Costco purchase program. The Fleet salesman was very friendly and helpful. As I was dealing with the Costco program, the vehicle price was set so there was no nonsense played with the price. They gave me a fair price for my trade (that DID require "games"). The problem is the after-sale communication. I have called my salesman 3 times over a period of 5 days (personally spoke to him) about the "we owe" list of two accessories promised and not available. He promised to check on it and get back to me. Not one call has been returned. This morning I called the Sales Manager and he also promised to get right back to me! Nothing yet. I believe the $200 in accessories promised will NOT be delivered.
