I leased a new car a few days ago and had a wonderful experience! The staff were all friendly and helpful but it was Kris who made the process outstanding. He was funny, patient and knowledgeable and made me comfortable in my decision to choose a leasing option. I will recommend both Kris and Hilltop to family and friends. Thank you!

We had the most enjoyable experience at Hilltop, beginning with the Bob Neely, our Sales Rep, to other employees we met at the Dealership. All were genuinely friendly, willing to help out or just be conversational. We bought a used vehicle and Bob went through all the details and perks as if it was a new car. The entire process went very well and we left feeling satisfied with our purchase and that the Dealership made our car buying experience a priority. I would definitely recommend going to Hilltop when buying your next car!

These guys ploy people to their dealership by making empty promises via their Money Carlo game. They make you believe that you win $5,000 to get you to go to their dealership in hopes to lure you into buying a car. But when you get there you find out that you haven't won anything. Because if this I will NEVER buy a car from these crooks. If they can't even be honest BEFORE they sell you the car, imagine how honest they will be if you end up becoming a customer.

I did end up leaving with a very nice car (2016 Cruze LT) but was not allowed to take my paperwork until 3 weeks after. I also told them straight up that I would be getting a GM Supplier discount from the factory I work at. Come to find out, conveniently after they "could do anything about it", I find that they did not apply the $2000 discount, but instead opted for an easier $250 rebate. They also had decided to short my trade-in by $500, and thus required a larger down-payment.They would not return any of my calls or emails regarding these problems, and in person, shuffled me back and forth, claiming I needed to talk to someone else. Everyone except the sales and management team were very helpful and nice though. I normally wouldn't make such a big deal out of being tricked out of some cash, but they took extreme advantage of the fact that I was in bind and needed a new car by the end of the week. Will return there for the service team, but that's all.

Convinced my family and I that through some "outside of the box" financing, my parents (both on full disability) could get a vehicle through a program that required me to cosign. After 12 months of payments, my name would fall off of the financing and the remaining would be refinanced underneath my parents no questions asked. Despite many questions regarding this "plan," we were reassured that this is done regularly at this dealership. Long story short, we're approaching year three, this vehicle is still on my credit report, and my family has been turned away by this dealership. These people took advantage of my disabled parents and myself by lying to them, and leveraging my relationship with them to guilt me in to a finance arrangement that does not exist. Despite several attempts to follow up, it's clear that we will have to take legal action. Stay away from these people at all costs.

Bob was the individual helping helping me out when I went to the dealership. Not only was he patience with me but e had answers to all my questions. Felt good understanding what was being said to me. Cars are area foreign language to me so having a guy like Bob help help me, helped me out a great deal

Best car buying experience I have ever had, I will definitely be purchasing another vehicle at this dealership. Bob in sales was the best he walked me through all my different options and even setup and walked me through all my on star and my XM and Sirius options. Ken in finance helped me understand all finance options and helped me understand what each paper actually was. Andrew and Ken really helped me finance my car quickly so I didn't spend days searching for my next car. Thank you to the hilltop team

The sales team at Hilltop are top notch. Thanks to Wally, I'm the happy owner of a 2015 3500 Silverado. We were just looking and Wally said, "Give me five minutes and let me see what I can do." Andrew is a financial wizard, he has been extraordinarily helpful in the months since our purchase. Ken is an efficient genius, whizzing through a mountain of papers and pointing out where to sign. These guys (and ladies) are all friendly and helpful. Like to haggle? They'll haggle. Know nothing? They'll guide you the whole way. If you want a new Chevy, this is the place to go.

The overall experience a Ron Curriers Hilltop Chevy was very satisfying. All of the customer service and sales people were friendly and knowledgeable. We had the pleasure of having Minnesota Mike be our primary salesman who not only was able to walk me through the buying process, but in doing so show me how I could afford a better car then I thought. He even pointed me towards a comparable and less expensive car insurance company(taking pressure off that bottom line). I walked in suspicious and nervous about buying a car and walked out overjoyed and with confidence, feeling as though I got the right car for me and m family. Thank You to all the people at Ron Curriers Hilltop Chevy for making purchasing a vehicle a relaxing and rewarding experience.

I purchased a vehicle from this dealership and had all maintenance done at this facility only. I was informed that there was a coolant problem which would also need to replace the gasket. I sold the vehicle at a financial loss. The person that purchased it had his mechanic (not Hilltop) service it and found that the coolant was the wrong type for this vehicle to start with and that the transmission had been overfilled. Hilltop would not take responsibility and denied that they ever purchase the type of coolant (green coolant liquid vice the Dextrol (orange color)required for the vehicle). Also they denied the issue with the transmission fluid overfill. The service personnel became arrogant, almost to the point of being combative over the assertion that they made no mistake. I remind you that they are the only ones to service my vehicle. I will let all I know that they are not to be trusted, and not to take their vehicle for service to this dealership.

submitted an internet application, was sent a notice from the internet manager (Nicole) I asked where we stood with the application, was told they were processing it and someone would contact me. I have since sent two more messages 3 days apart, and was completely ignored, so obviously this dealer is either not in need of new customers, (as I see I am not the only person with this problem with them), or they are just very unprofessional. My guess is the second

I recently purchased a new Chevy Silverado from Hilltop. I couldn't be happier with my new truck. Kylie was very friendly and great to work with. Kevin showed me all the bells and whistles and Mr. Currier went out of his way to introduce himself and personally thank me for choosing Hilltop. Class act all the way around. When I was leaving with my new truck I stopped to thank Kevin for the overall experience. He told me "teamwork makes the dream-work" and I couldn't agree more!

I was searching for a used vehicle with better gas mileage than my current four wheel drive jeep. I was greeted by Bob when I arrived. He took the time to ask me how I would use the vehicle and what features were important to me. Once he understood what I was looking for he asked what payment range I looking to stay within. He showed me several options, although I did not find what I wanted that day he kept in contact with me as other options became available. I did eventually purchase a vehicle and have used their service department as well. I would recommend the people here as they are friendly and helpful. Every time I call the phone is answered professionally and calls are transferred correctly. Bob in the sales department is knowledgeable and considerate. The service department is also very helpful. I would recommend this dealership for a stress free car buying experience.

Had a wonderful experience purchasing my new car! Staff was warm and friendly! I was so excited when we were thinking about purchasing a new car and Bob was friendly and really took the time to show us about the cars even took the time to go through all the features with us and getting our onstar set up! He knew we wanted safe and what he brought to us was an all wheel drive car with 10 airbags! (doesn't get much safer then that). I would recommend Bob Neely to everyone and plan on purchasing another car in the future with him!

My husband and I visited Hilltop Chevrolet back at the end of January 2015 because my husband had received a flyer in the mail stating that he was a "winner of a prize". My husband was also looking for a new truck with a bigger back seat to accommodate a car seat, as we were expecting our first child. As soon as we walked into the dealership, we were tackled by a man who would not tell us what the "prize" was, but instead immediately got down to business with what kind of truck my husband had to trade in, and what kind of truck he was looking for. He immediately found a "great used truck" and had my husband take it out for a test drive. We liked the truck, and when we got back the salesperson again immediately got down to business with what payments would look like. At this point my husband had asked twice about the flyer he had brought in but kept getting the run around as to what the "prize" was. The salesperson told us that the truck cost was $38,500, that they would pay off my husbands truck payments on his existing truck, and give him $2000 cash back. The payments looked affordable. After some deliberation, my husband decided to purchase this truck. Once we sat down with the finance guy, and added in all of the warranties and signed for the truck, we were now looking at a payment of almost $200 a month more than what we originally were told. The next morning, less then 18 hours after the deal had been made, my husband went back down to the dealership after not getting very much sleep worrying about his payments all night, and asked if he could change the deal for different truck. They gave him an extremely hard time. We dealt with them for the next three days with issues with the truck, the sales people were extremely rude, telling my husband he was a "big boy" and made the decision to purchase the trucks, but they didn't for him to buy it. Let me know also state that they had "hired help" from all over the country the weekend that we purchased this truck. Half of them did not know what they were talking about, and again some of them were extremely rude.we recently went to a different dealership to try to get my husband out of this truck even though he would end up upside down with his loan. We went to a reputable dealership in Portsmouth, who told us that his truck for trade-in would only be worth about $23,000 if it was in perfect condition, which at first glance it looks like it might be, but there are a lot of blemishes to the truck inside and out. This dealership in Portsmouth also informed us that resale of this truck would be about $27,000. which means my husband paid almost 12,000 dollars more for this truck then what he should have. to make matters worse, the sale price of the truck after looking further at thepaperwork was not $38,500, but instead over $41,000. so, the $2000 that they were giving him back on the purchase of this truck actually got added into the loan without telling us. My husband is now $20,000 in the hole with this truck, because of the shady dealings at Hilltop Chevrolet. I cannot stress to you enough, DO NOT purchase a vehicle from this dealership!By the way, the "prize" from the flyer, turned out to be a $5.00 gift card to Walmart! Ridiculous...

I had three different emergencies in six weeks, all resulting in unexpected work needing to be done on our car. Not only did they get me in immediately, they worked to save me money by offering different workarounds to one of my problems, and even replaced the recall ignition part (separate issue) while they were at it. Everyone was super friendly and made the entire experience much more bearable. I also earned money on their rewards card towards future work, which is a great free extra value.

I went to Hilltop Chevrolet with low credit and low expectations. I had an 04 Cavalier with some body issues, an oil leak, and who know's what else wrong with it. I was fairly convinced that, based on my previous inability to get financed for a vehicle (or even get a credit card due to some mistakes I'd made when I was around 20). The finance manager I dealt with was not only able to get me approved but gave me some great advice on how to get my credit built back up. My salesman was also really funny and helpful and I appreciated everyone's help in getting me into my new car and not making me feel bad about my credit problems. They were even able to help me get set up with insurance, and got me the kind of payments I needed. I've had the car for some months now and it's been great. Whenever I've had to bring it in for service, they've been quick and friendly... they even gave me a free state inspection when I came in last month. The only problem I had with the dealership was with the general manager who I had dealt with when I bought the car, but while waiting for my inspection and oil change to be finished, I chatted with my salesman and he introduced me to the new manager, who is MUCH friendlier and more professional. After the way they helped me, I was sure to bring my sister there for service and my boyfriend there when he decided it was time to get a new car, and they helped him out in much the same way!

I was contacted by R.C. Hilltop Chevrolet after using a third-party dealer finder site and filled them in on my current financial situation and what I was looking for. The internet sales agent and I briefly discussed a few options and I was told that I would be contacted with further information at the end of the day -- the end of the day came and went and I heard nothing from the agent. I called the agent the next day and was then told that the business manager was out of the office and that they would be back on Monday to review my information. That Monday came and went without a word from the agent or a representative from the dealership after being told I would be called back on, at this time, two occasions. I sent an e-mail to the agent on Tuesday -- heard nothing, so I called the agent and was given the runaround of why I was not contacted and that they STILL had not had a chance to review my information; this is now 5 days without any update or contact from them. I received an e-mail from the general manager checking in to see how my experience has been with the dealership... I was honest and upfront. The communication which his staff has provided thus far was less than stellar. He apologized and I was then told that no one was deliberately ignoring me -- really? No contact after being told on numerous occasions that someone would get back to me and no one does? Perhaps not deliberate, however, no one seemed very interested in keeping their customer in the loop of where they were in the process. In the same e-mail thread the GM told me that he should have an answer by the end of the day... NO WORD from anyone! We are now over a week since I first spoke with the internet sales agent and I've heard nothing from them other than myself reaching out to them and getting the runaround. I've since gone into a dealership and got into a new vehicle without issue.R.C. Hilltop Chevrolet sales department leaves a lot to be desired. They appear to be very unprofessional and have great difficulty in forming new relationships with their potential customers. As I mentioned to the GM, I am not telling them how to communicate with their customers, I was merely exposing some leaks they have in communication with their customers. Guess what?! I was spot on. Even the GM cannot pick up the ball to build a relationship with a customer that is clearly dissatisfied.Whether it is cash, check or a bankruptcy discharge EVERY potential customer should be treated as if they are the most important asset of the company because if it were not for ALL of us, from all walks of life and situations... they would have no business whatsoever. These folks should take some lessons from Autofair on how to get things done and how to treat their customers.I do not and will not recommend R.C. Hilltop Chevrolet to anyone.

Wanted to buy a car, willing to trade mine in. They blew cigarette smoke in my face, they laughed at me because I'm eighteen and needed something different. My father wanted to get himself a pickup truck. He brought a flyer he got in the mail and they laughed at him for asking if it was the right place. One salesman told him that there's "like zero chance" he could win what they were advertising. I told them I thought the volt was cute and he laughed for a good five minutes and told me "you gotta crawl before you walk" which was so rude. Yes I'm eighteen, but I work a lot, I'm smart mature and responsible. Plus the guy had his cigarette blowing in my face so I was pretty much smoking it for him. The other guy was texting while we were asking questions. Go to north Berwick auto. We've gotten two cars from them, they're so sweet and really care about their customers. They handle the paperwork quickly and efficiently. They are very patient and very open to letting you test drive multiple of their cars. I'm going to stick with those guys. Hilltop Chevy could take some pointers from them.

Lured in by a scam. One of those prize flyers. Was going to buy a car anyways, so figured what the heck. Got there, they seemed friendly at first. Went to the kiosk and won 2 bucks, was told the big drawing was the next night. That they were drawing for a TV.Went back the next night, a room full of people and they pulled out a Xbox and drew for that. 1 lousy xbox. When I asked about the TV the salesman tried to say I misunderstood. When I said 5 other people said the same thing, he just shrugged his shoulders. All of the people there were lied to. The men at this dealership is the reason people think of shady dealers and don't want to go car hunting. When I asked about the grand prizes I was told those were on the kiosk, funny everyone I talked to there got 2 bucks. I ended up across the street from them buying a car at Kia. Seen 3 others from that night there too. Hope their happy losing business, because of shady practices.

If you get a flyer in the mail for a drawing for publicity from these people don't go BECAUSE IN MY OPPINION....... There a bunch of scam artists. come on HillTop at least be honest tell people that you don't intend to give away a car or any of the other prizes you promised. Tell the truth before the people who are truly looking for car never want to come back. I was lied to so bad from these people just for them to try to make a buck. I wouldn't trust them to sell me a car if they lie about small thing like a drawing for prizes. Cars carry precious cargo like my family hello that's a big deal to me well if you wanna trust a dealer go to Portcity Nissan Portsmouth NH they'll treat you very well and wont lie to get your Business.

My experience at Hilltop was exceptional. It was a no nonsense transacton. I found the vehicle on-line, stopped by the dealership,Jesse answered my questions without being pushy, let me test drive the vehicle, and introduced me to Bill the sales manager. They gave me a great deal on a good used car. The staff was friendly, professional, listened to my needs, and were accommodating. They worked well together.I would highly recommend anyone looking for a vehicle to stop in and give these guys a chance to impress you. And, I bet they'll do just that. Thanks guys!
