I highly recommend Ron's Automotive! My mother in law was in the market for a newer vehicle and was very nervous about buying one. Everyone at Ron's made her (plus her sister and myself since we tagged along) very comfortable. She already had financing but they were able to get her a better interest rate and lower payment. I had a fantastic experience with these guys! I'd never bought a car before, but my old 2000 Subaru Legacy had finally given up the ghost, so to speak, and I was in need of a car. I'd heard from friends that this place was great, and it turned out to be accurate! I'm really happy with the car that I got (a 2014 Subaru Impreza), and everyone was super nice. Trevor was great to work with, and so was Mark. I'll absolutely return if I need a new-to-me car again!

I had an amazing experience at Ron’s Automotive! The entire staff was amazing, especially our sales rep Trevor who didn’t complain as I test drove every single car on their lot, drove me to their other locations to test drive those and not one time did he pressure me into making a decision. He was so friendly and it felt like I knew him for years. A shoutout to Bill as well, as he genuinely wanted me to be comfortable with my decision and patiently listened as I worked through all my nerves. He worked his magic with me getting me a great loan. Got to Work with Dave on the purchase of a new/used vehicle. I saw the vehicle on the internet and called them before making the trip which was almost a 2 hour trip, The lady who answered the phone ( I believe she said her name was Nicole) was very pleasant and transferred my call to Dave. Dave said they did still have the vehicle and when we arrived he had it sitting down at their office. After showing me the vehicle and were there was a rust spot on the rear quarter panel which he said they would fix he gave me the keys and left us take it for a test drive. When we got back we told him that we were interested in the vehicle. While doing the paper work we asked him he could do the paper work and if everything was good we would come back the next day to finish it up because we had another appt at noon. To my surprise Dave says well the vehicle is yours because i guarantee everything is going to be fine so why don't i put a dealer plate on it and let you guys drive it home today then you can come back in the morning to finish the paper work. Being we live two hours from the dealership this was a complete surprise.We took him up on his offer which saved us from driving two vehicles once again, The next day all the paper work was ready for us when we arrived and it only required signatures, Dave then gave me a paper which i never saw at any other dealers, This paper was called We Owe You. On this paper he wrote that they owed us Pa inspection and emissions along with have the rust spot fixed. The service that Ron's gave was superior and I couldn't have been treated any better. I contacted this dealer through Cars.com and called as well.The salesman I spoke with was very nice, took my information, and told me he'd get back to me to answer some of my questions. A day later, no response. No response at all to the email inquiry. Have been searching for this make/model all over the country. Was disappointed by the lack of responsiveness.

Do not buy a car from this dealership. The problems we have had with this dealer over the last few months have been unacceptable. In every report of a company you will find good and bad reviews, however reading the bad reviews we could have saved ourselves issues if we listened. We bought a 2012 Mini Countryman from Ron's in mid February. When we took the car for the inspection, three days later, we were told it had failed. The rear breaks did not meet state standards. Then the next day the coolant started to leaked. We called Ron's only to leave several messages. We were not called back, despite the repeated messages. We took the car in for repairs and found the rear breaks, roters, water pump, head light, and front wheels all needed to be fixed. The total $1800.00 repair was very frustrating to deal with. Through several emails to Scott, the owner, we were promised he would investigate the issue and call us back. He did not call us until several days after the promised phone call. He admitted they were taken advantage of when they bought this car. To know he sold us a car that he knowingly had issues with is unacceptable. He promised to send us a $350.00 visa gift card to cover the cost of the repairs. We do not understand how $350 compares to $1800, and still have yet to see this visa card. Back in February we also sent Ron's all the documentation they needed to get our tag and title. We just received a letter saying they cannot get us our title because "there is an issue with the title". It does not take six weeks to figure out issues there might be with a title. When we called they did not take responsibility for their failure to do their job. To be sold a car that did not meet state standards and still have issues with proper documentation is appalling. The number of bad reviews with other people having the same issues of lack of communication and faulty vehicles can confirm this is not just one person's experience. Do not work with this company.

My wife and I set out to look at two vehicles on this lot.One she didnt like because it was rear wheel drive the other turned out to be the one.The owner was very nice in making sure we get the best value out of our experience. We decided on a car and the time had come to workout the deal. The owner showed us all the options we had and gave us time to think about whether we want to purchase the vehicle.There was no pressure and letting us take the vehicle home to get more of a feel for the car and to make a decision. Everything else worked out for our budget and the owner made good on his promise. We couldn't be more pleased with the sales staff and the owner in how we were treated. Most important we found the vehicle we liked and they help with fitting it in our budget and beating out my financial company rates. Thanks Ron's Automotive

Purchased a used 2000 Dodge Dakota and when taking it back to Ron's for the PA inspection the check engine light came on. They checked it out and told me it was in need of a leak detection part.The part came in and they fixed the problem & gave me and appointment to come back and scheduled the inspection. Then they discovered another problem and were quick to repair the faulty parts. Why would anyone not want to come back to these folks is beyond me. I have nothing but good things to say about the service and I am totally satisfied with these guys and would recommend them to anyone.

I called in the morning concerning the car and someone said they will call me right back and they never did. I called again and they said they're busy and someone is driving the car and they will call me back in 15 min. I waitwd an hour and no phone call so I called back again and they told me they sold the car. I was first asking about the car ready to do some business but they deicided to sell it to someone else. Worst customer service ever.

So I wrote a review the other day. Since Rons has contacted me to detail me car since there was broken glass under the seat (bench seat). However it is still maaking a grinding noise and more. Thier shop said it was fine. It is not the sound it makes turns heads when coming to a stop. I got a 2nd opion on car and was informaed that it is a repaint job (horrible) and this car had been wrecked before. Just as I thought. In which the sales men told me it was not wrecked nor was it a repaint. I have many issues with the front end of car. I bought extended warrenty to cover that stuff in case and the work has to be done thier at thier shop and they say its fine!!!! It is far from fine. I call the office everyday in hopes to talk with owner or that the new sales mang Dave has a resulation for me and I get no where.

Bought a car in Feb an had nothing but problems. They act like they care but dont. Detailed my car an found thousands of pieces of broken glass under seat, paint is coming off car, front end is falling apart. I was assured the car was not a re paint or it had never been wrecked. I used all of my savings to buy car for down payment. Now im paying a monthly payment on junk. When I call to talk to someone I get the run around in a "nice" way. Single mother of 3 an a autistic child. I went to look for a 3rd row or bigger car then the mazda but the sales man said I would get the most bang for my buck an save money on gas since my round trip for work is 75 miles.

Bought a used SUV about 3 weeks ago from them and I have already had more problems go wrong then I did with my 16 year old car I had for 4 years. These people will do nothing for you once you have bought the car. They are nice before you buy it and once you get it your no more of importance to them. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy an I mean that!! There's to many places to shop for used cars to ever go here!!

When it was time to replace my husband's 95 Civic, we were stumped as to where to start. Two family members had purchased cars through Ron's and were pleased with their experience. We found a car online that was for sale at Ron's and we test drove it and liked it - but my husband insisted on comparing another vehicle. So we left and came back the same day to Ron's to purchase the vehicle we originally drove, only to discover it had been sold. We were disappointed and discouraged, but the gentleman we'd been working with, Ron, brought out another Honda hybrid for us to test drive, and we knew that this Civic was the one! We purchased and drove it home the same day. The entire team at Ron's went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with our purchase. Their customer service is tops! We will be going back to them when I need a "new" used car! They are taking care of getting our car titled and registered, as well as inspection, even though we are Pennsylvania residents! Highly recommended!

Purchased a vehicle 3/28/2012. Prior to delivery some repairs needed were noted and was told to bring vehicle back the following week. Vehicle has been back 8 times and repairs still not completed. Lost faith in the salesman and manager. Finally, bought parts myself and installed them myself or paid to have repairs done elsewhere. Have left numerous messages for the owner, manager and/or salesman to call me. No call/s as of this date (8/15/12) approximately 2 months after the vehicle was there for a week to have ALL items taken care of as promised and were NOT completed. Unsatisfactory service department and follow thru with promises made by sales department. I would definitely NOT RECOMMEND this dealer, due to poor customer service.....

Ron and crew were pretty easy to deal with. Bought a used Cobalt and when I had minor issues with the brakes they honored the warranty and took care of it right away. No problems since.

My daughter bought a car a dodge neon and the transmission was bad they fixed everything but. They even disagreed with a transmission mechanic saying it was not the transmission. Of course after all the turnarounds the warranty lapsed. Also be ready for a hundred buck deductible when the first repair was turning a few screws and not written on the receipt. I was recommended by a co-worker to look for a vehicle from Ron's Automotive. I looked online and filled out get a quote. With in ten to twenty minutes I got a call back from Chris. He took my information and found out if I could get a loan. He called back and let me know an hour and half later. The next day I talked to Donald and then later Chris. I went in the following day and Tim took care of me. Then I finished my paper work with Donald. I was very impressed by how everyone there was super friendly and willing to help. Everyone worked as a team which made the whole process go by very quickly. I had to bring my three month old and five year old with me. Both children were content because they turned the tv on, which also made it a relaxed atmosphere. I was able to get the vehicle I wanted and the price I wanted to pay a month. I was very happy with how the whole process went.

I drove a long distance to see a car at Ron's. The online description of the car indicated that the interior was "like new with very little sign of use". When I saw the car the inside looked like two wild cats had a fight on the leather seats. It was trashed! Don't trust Ron's description of his cars.

I needed to get a decent used car for my son who's away at college. Needed it pretty quick and needed it to be affordable. Used Ron's Auto website to check out their current inventory. Worked w/ Chris Crawmer, the Internet Sales Mgr, at Ron's. He was great to work with. Got what I needed w/ no fuss. I test drove a few vehicles that were presented on the website, found the one that met my needs, financed the deal and drove away in about 2 hours. Chris was great to work with. Would highly recommend Ron's as a place for a good, affordable used vehicle.

Today, Thursday, February 21, 2013 we had the neatest experience buying a 2003 Mercedes Benz CLK 320 at Ron's Automotive in Manchester, MD. We traded our beautiful Mustang Convertible because of my stiff left leg. I was having a terrible time getting in and out of the Mustang. Chris found us a car that the power seat glides back sooo far that my bad leg misses kicking the door by over four inches. Boy what a pleasure to drive the Mercedes and I''m sooo comfortable it's amazing. All the employees made us feel at home and it was like we were a part of the Ron's Automotive family.

I bought a 2004 Mercedes SL500 from them in September 2012. I was promised repair work to the baffle in the gas tank in abut 2 weeks. During that time the convertible top stopped working. When I called back to report this new problem and to see if the parts had come in for the gas tank. Tim (the sly salesman who gives all used saleman a bad name) promised that they would have the tank baffle within one week and would "talk to Scott the owner" about fixing the convertible top. I was told Scott would call me. I have yet to hear from him and when asked about it by the secretary was told "He's bad about returning calls" I was asked to bring the car in, which I did. I was told it needs a new motor and gas tank hasn't gotten there yet. (almost a month later). I took the car in over Thanksgiving (now 2 months agter purchase) and the only repair that they performed was to fix the glove box (another issue that was broken at time of sale). I took the car back and told them when they get the parts to call me. I was promised "next week" multiple times. Never did they call me I had to call them Finally my husband found the part on line, called them with information. By the time they called, part had been sold. By now if was almost Jan. Tim stopped returning any of my calls . Finally Jan 30 I was asked to bring the car in for baffle and convertible top repairs. The "showed" me my bill of $1600+ that they incurred. THeir ad says the are a certified Mercedes repair center Don't by that either I was told twice by Tim that they were taking the car to Mercedes dealer because we don't know who to work on these cars. I had traded a 240C mercedes sedan for this car. It was sold within 2 wks but it took them over 4 months to fix what was promised in 2 weeks. DON'T (I REPEAT) DON'T BUY YOUR NEXT CAR FROM RON'S They talk a good talk and have nice looking cars but their sales follow up is poor. Growing up around cars (repairs, painting, saleman father) I know what good service is and they definitely DO NOT PROVIDE THAT

We saw the Dodge as we drove by Ron's recently. Tim was our salesman and took great care in getting us the price and payments we wanted. We took the truck for a test drive and it ran great, so great that we traded in our own Ram with higher mileage for this one. We are very happy and will gladly do business with Ron's again should we need another vehicle. Thanks for everything!

!Stopped by Ron's the 24th with my grandson to look at vehicles. It was 18 degrees outside and they gladly showed me around the lot and warmed up the Passat I was interested in for my test drive. An hour later I was the proud owner of the Passat and the staff watched over my grandson as I did my paperwork. Traded in my Rubicon for a Chevy Tahoe. Ron's made the process smooth and easy and took immediate care of minor issues with the Tahoe before putting the title in my name. If and when I new another vehicle, my search will definitely start at Ron's Automotive. Thanks guys

I was previously asked to make my first review while in the middle of a deal i felt very pressured at the time and rushed to make my review. I previously said the the staff was friendly which was correct. We ended up purchasing a used vehicle and on delivery was told it would be detailed that they never would let a vehicle off the lot with out being detailed when i picked up the vehicle the next day i asked again if it was going to be detailed and they told me it was. They were shocked to see the mud tracks on the back floor as was I after being told it was already done. now i have to spend the first days of ownership cleaning to make it presentable. Very disappointed in this. cant wait to see how the other I.O.U.s turn out. Quality of repair reflects my disappointment in the detailing work only. NOT a reflection of there body shop..... yet.

Stay away from this dealership. Purchased a used car from here and had nothing but problems since I owned it. Owned the vehicle for just over a month, bad brakes, tires leaked, catalytic converter, now a oil leak. They fixed it just enough to make it look good. Never buy from here!!!
