In my 45 years of driving and after owning dozens of cars this is my first Chevy - the C8 Corvette. After 11 months of flawless operation, I made my 1st trip to the Rydell Service Center. Jim Murphy, Service Consultant, welcomed me and was responsive, communicative and experienced with the vehicle. I also met Marc Cowan, Body Shop Mgr., to review a minor warranty issue and he provided an easy fix. The guy who drove me back home was sincere & friendly too. The Corvette is engineered, manufactured and serviced all here in the USA - this has been an unexpectedly positive experience!

Needed to purchase a vehicle and the staff at Rydell Chevy made it pleasant and hassle free. Vig was my salesman, he was a true professional and courteous. The manager that approved my deal I think his name was Raymond, also a true professional. Then finally I went to finance where I met Benito, great guy and was very concerned with my needs. Got to say one of the best buying a vehicle experience ever. I was totally satisfied with Rydell Chevy and If I ever need a car again I’ll know where to go. 👍

I didn’t feel rushed nor pressured to buy a car. John, Victor, and Luis were extremely helpful and guided me throughout and stayed way past after hours until I got my car (I had to get my car insurance straightened out before I left the dealership and that took some time!). On top of that, you guys have such great deals. Overall, probably my most pleasant experience buying/leasing a car. Keep it up!

Only an uneducated or lazy person buys from this place.... They are not cheap... Take there advertised price to any other place like Keys on Van Nuys and you will get a better deal FOR SURE!!No haggle pricing is BS.

I went to go buy a new 2016 Chevy Camaro 2SS and I wasn't greeted properly. I tried to talk to the manager and he was completely disrespectful. He treated me like I wasn't a valuable customer because of my age. I'm 19 and I make more money than that guy will make in his lifetime! If anybody there would've taken the time to actually help me out they would've sold me the car. The sales team there is just like any other Chevy... terrible. After my horrible test drive with a salesman who had clue about the car... he sat me down to talk prices and basically tried to scam the xxxx out of me. I know how much that car is worth! Anyways I tried to give them another chance as I saw a used version of the 2016 2SS on their lot with 2,000 miles on it. They insisted that it was new and that I would get a better deal with their incentives if they listed it as new rather than used. That's absolute xxxxxxxx considering they wanted full price! A car loses it's value, as much as %11 with depreciation as soon as its driven off the lot. So they basically just try to screw any idiot they can... if they fired everyone there especially management... they would have more sales. American car companies aren't doing so well, I wonder why?! Customer satisfaction is key and it's funny how on their website they're rated nearly 5 stars and eveywhere else I look they're hardly rated 3/5. All I can say is xxxx American car companies I could get a better deal on an m4 BMW or a c63 amg Mercedes. Forget giving any American car company your business... they're unprofessional and that's why they don't make sales and have to take government bail outs all the time. DONT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP, WASTE OF TIME!

Typical new car dealership. Been in the SFValley for 5 decades at least-- on Devonshire just west of Reseda. I bought a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer in 02 and look at cars there from time to time-- they are nothing to get excited about--at one point they had a rep for being into the old muscle cars, but that was years ago. Recently, I found a specific car on cars.com called and found the VW Toureg was gon--it remained online for about a month. The saleslady I spoke with said come on in, we have lots of similar cars, but I said I have a very few cars, with specific options and colors I'd be interested in, I live 2 hours away in the desert and as it was the hottest days of the year, I'd gladly come in, but only if they knew they had something that interests me; sales lady said, no problem, I'll email you a list-- so for 2 weeks she'd call to ask me to make an appointment and I'd say I not gotten a list. Each time the sales lady called, she do the same thing, them promise to send a list, not send one and called back in a,few days and go through it again. Mediocre at best.

This is the place to go if you are looking for excellent customer service and no bull. When they tell you that you are getting the best price right up front, you better believe it. All of their cars show their best price with all the discounts and rebates available, you get to see what the store's discount is and what the rebates are on every car, they don't hide anything from you, they even show you the invoice without you having to ask for it. I realized that you always pay less than the invoice price here, nobody else does that. There's no negotiating here they tell you that from the beginig, they don't waste people's time. If you know what you're buying and don't need to look at 5 different cars, you'll be in and out of there in 2 hours. No one tries to sell you something you don't want, the salesmen don't get paid commission so they have no reason to sell you something you don't want. The salesmen here treat you like family and are very knowledgeable and helpful. I saw some complaints about some sales reps on some of these reviews but these guys that are being mentioned don't sound familiar, I've been buying cars from this place for over 10 years and have never had a bad sales rep. The only thing I can think of is that you were helped by a new sales rep that obviously used to work in a whole different environment like all the other dealerships. It will probably take some time for these new guys to get the hang of this place, but im sure they'll do just fine. Its hard not to be polite and respectful when you have 20 other guys working with you doing that every day with every customer that walks in. Best place to buy a car.

This is one of those typical dealerships that say "no price haggle, not pressure" but there was nothing but pressure and discomfort the entire 2 hrs I was there. I went in thinking I may buy a used car but 30 min after arriving I decided that I did not want the car (the price of the car and the test drive was great, but something just didn't feel right if I bought it). For the next 1 1/2 hrs Jose, or Pepcee as he wants to be regarded to make sure people remember him, badgered me into buying any car and was basically yelling across room to, whom i assume, is the finance manager about my situation and for the everyone in the building to hear. When Jose finally got the message that there was not persuading me to buy the car, he has to yell to the finance manager "He gonna walk!" to which the finance manager replies "I can finally go home!" Really? Am I supposed to feel bad? Now it wouldn't be fair to say this whole dealership is terrible, but do yourself a favor and watch these guys if you do decided to go.

My husband took the car to the shop at Rydell and the initial meeting was great. He was reassured everything would be taken care of and we would have nothing to worry about. We would get a call as soon as the repairs were done. The car needed a new front bumper and the back bumper would be fixed. About a week and a half later, my husband received a call that the car was ready to be picked up. We were very excited. We stopped by the shop to take a look at the car and make sure it looked brand new again; this was a Thursday evening. As we were reviewing the car, we noticed that the front bumper, which was replaced, had a chip. Then as we looked at the rear bumper we noticed it had a scuff mark. The chrome piece in the front looked old and dingy. It looked like it did not belong on our car. We went to the auto body shop office and spoke to the service person there by the name of Anthony. We told him there were some things we needed him to look at with us that we noticed on the car. We showed him the chip and the scuff on the bumpers; mentioned the chrome . He stated, ok don't worry we will get it fixed. First of all, how does a business that does repairs, NOT check their own work before calling a customer to pick up their car? I don't understand why we would get a call saying everything was done, when clearly things were not reviewed. Anthony advised us the "fixes" would be done by the next day (Friday) around 3pm and he would call us first to confirm. Friday came and went, no call. Saturday & Sunday the shop is closed. No call. Monday came, no call; Tuesday came, no call. My husband drove to the shop on Wednesday morning and spoke to the shop manager Dan and expressed to him the frustration we had with the car not being completely done and then never receiving the call we were promised. They went to review the car again and noticed the chrome pieces in the front looked the same. They looked old, like they belonged on a different car. Dan stated he would get those replaced and it would take another day to get those parts in. He told my husband that he would leave a message for his service guy Anthony to call us as soon as everything was done. Now it is Friday morning, again no call. By now, we don't know if anyone will ever call us, so we decided to drive by the dealer that night to check if the car is even there. Around 10pm at night we went to Rydell and sure enough, our car is parked on the inside lot. We take a look at it and walk around to make sure things were fixed as they promised. The front & rear bumpers look okay now, no chip or scuff. When we look inside the car, we notice the driver side door has greasy finger print stains on the side wall and the driver seat also has stains. Our car is light in color, Champagne interior. We have been very careful with this car, making sure that we take care of the interior, especially because of the color it is. It is so easy to see any stains and I am very OCD about this. I expect that an establishment like this would have the foresight to ensure that anyone that gets inside a car they are working on, is careful about not getting it dirty or at least cleaning it up if they do! My husband did go inside the show room and spoke to the person who was on duty that night. We are beyond frustrated and upset with the type of customer service we have received, or actually lack thereof. My husband and I both work in customer service and we understand what a big deal it is to keep your word. If you tell a customer you will contact them on a specific day, you do it. Even if the news is not what you told them it would be. It is common courtesy to follow up with the customer. The rental place wanted to charge an extra fee because the dealer told the insurance we didn't pick up the car when it was done last week! Hello, are you serious? So my husband had to explain to KELLY the situation and the lack of communication that occurred and why we didn't already have our car.

Your typical sleazy dealership who tries to look good with "no haggle" price policy. Be careful when they ask for your personal info as they often run your credit without your permission, which will be hard to prove in court as it would be yours against their words. Avoid this place at all cost.

I e-mailed this dealer about a car they listed. After some exchanges through e-mail and phone messages I decidied to call to ask a question about pricing. This being as it was a fairly long drive, and did not want to come look at the car if the price was not close to what I was willing to pay. Upon speaking to the finance person - service went down hill fast. When I asked what the best price they would accept on the car was I was given the following: "Do you have the website open? What does it say? That's it." This was also delivered with a tone of someone as though they were speaking to a child. Then followed with laughter. The beauty of the internet now for car shopping is that we as consumers are not stuck with the dealer that is close to us. We can search 1000's of cars in our neighborhood, nearby cities or even other states. Cars being an item that is mass produced also means each dealership is delivering the same product. Salesmen/finance people should keep this in mind when helping customers. I do want to thank the finance person as it led me to find a car 1 year newer and 500 miles less - for $3k cheaper then their asking price. I even placed a deposit on the 2nd car as well I am purchasing as well. They have also missed out on the car in the future I will be buying for her graduation gift.

Excellent service, both sales and service. My son had bought a car at Rydell several years ago and we were very impressed with their commitment to his needs. Within a few years later while I was looking for a replacement car of my own, my first thought AND visit was to Rydell in the San Fernando Valley on Devonshire, where I purchased a car within a few hours of my visit. From the salesman whom I talked to as soon as I walked into the door, all the way to the final signing with the finance manager was a complete success. Everyone was very courteous and professional in their departments.

I have purchased many new cars in my life and I have never been treated so well with knowledge, patience, honesty and the truly caring ways that Eric Beilowitz handled the entire process. As one would expect going from a regular car to a VOLT there are hundreds of questions, Eric took care of each and every one to our amazement. I had come to Rydell already approved and planning to buy a Prius the next day. There was no pressure, but Eric shared the facts and he sealed the deal on my first visit. I am absolutely sending potential buyers your way. Thank you Eric and thank you Rydell!

I recently had to visit Rydell Chevrolet to get my oil change and for 2 things that needed to be upgraded due to a recall on my Chevy Equinox 2011. I was not looking forward to it, as a matter of fact, I procrastinated as much as I could because I dragged taking my car. When I got to the service department, the guy that helped me was super nice, he made me feel like excellence in customer service was back at least there, he even offered a coupon and a FREE RENTAL when I told him I couldn't be without a car that day due to my work! My car was ready within the same day but obviously I picked it up the next day to take advantage of my rental he he. I really feel like rooting for these guys, specially because when I bought my car ONE YEAR AGO it was super late and the service department was closed. We noticed that the floor mats were not inside the car and i was asked to come back the next day or within the same week to get them. I waited a whole year, I asked for my sales person and he no longer worked there, so i thought ok, there's no way I will get them now, I have heard horrible stories told about other dealerships, so I just decided to give it a try. I talked to the guy in charge and he just said, wow you waited a long time huh, big smile and then asked someone to bring the mats to me!!! Wow! I am sold, that is exactly where I will be taking my business from now and on!

I bought a Volt from them after thoroughly exploring other dealerships and my own credit union. My credit union rep even told me to take their deal because it was even better than the fleet price he could get. Of course they were tremendously solicitous and as efficient as possible considering all the required paperwork. The one thing that lowered my "Buying Process" rating is that it has been a week and I have yet to receive the promised Lojack instillation appointment. At the time I purchased my car they were undergoing a large facility remodeling which made parking difficult, even hazardous which is why I gave them such a low "Facilities" rating.

I don't know about all the employees here, but my sales guy Theo was hands down the classiest car dealer I have dealt with. His help along with his manager Rick got me into a brand new 2013 Chevy Volt and I could not be any happier. I was contacted by other scrupulous Chevy dealers that are rated higher on this site and had it not been for some investigative work Theo did for me, I would have been taken advantage of by the others.Theo worked hard for 3 days to get me the best deal he could have possibly got and I am one satisfied customer. I have owned German luxury cars, japanese gas sippers and this Volt has me the most excited I have ever been about a car and the experience at this dealership made it all worth while. There is a reason this Chevy dealer is the number one Volt dealer, just stop by and let them show you why.

Worse Chevrolet Sales Dealer Ever. I have purchased over 12 New Chevy cars and trucks. Never have I had such Bad experience. The Sales Manager is not friendly & he is full of himself. The General Manager (Gus Garcia) never returns any calls or responds to a single email. I asked for Gus Garcia to return a call at least 8 times. This Dealer does not give care about their customer service at all, they only care about is the sale. The guys in the Service Department are real nice but the Sales Team from the General Manager down stink. Take your money elsewhere, there are plenty of Chevy Dealers around.

I recently purchased a used 2008 Bullitt Mustang from Rydell in Northridge. We bought my wife a Land rover Discovery about 4 years ago from a so-called Hi-end dealership.Maybe we don't dress fancy enough for those types of dealerships, but they could take a lesson in customer service from the people at Rydell in Northridge. The folks at Rydell are not afraid to do what it takes to make the sale and keep their customers coming back.

Excellent service. Excellent follow up. Attention to detail and all the work completed quickly and correctly. Brought my car in for warranty work after I was referred to them. Was greeted promptly and immediately driven to my destination in their courtesy vehicle. Highly recommend
