Neil Downing helped me with my lease for a Subaru Crosstrek. It was so easy working with him. Once I signed he showed me everything how to use my car. Went through all the features navigation radio and he even paired my iPhone. My mom recommended Neil and she is on her third lease with him. Now I know why. sold the car i wanted to the person sitting at the desk next to me who had an appointment 1 1/2hours after me. let her test drive before me. two days later had her car ready to go when she arrived 3 hours after me. made me wait 4 hours to get my car because of paper work not processed by the sales rep. Mike the manager called after he received our letter detailing the incident. He apologized and offered to replace the extended warranty we bought for free. Although the warranty he offered had a larger deductible we accepted and agreed to amend our review. He was pleasant and professional during our exchanges

We just bought our first new car ever! Our salesperson was Neil Downing. When we started looking for the Forester we wanted, Neil was very helpful. He told us a lot about the cars, and the company in general. He let us go out on a great test drive, and there was NO pressure. (We were reminded that Subaru cars really sell themselves.) After a long and thorough search, we could not find the color and options package that we wanted. So then it became time to order a new one- a 2017. They made it really easy, and the car arrived in about eight weeks, as expected. Every option, and every detail are exactly what we wanted. We were offered 0% financing on the day we went to pick it up, and everyone was polite and efficient. I regret that I don't remember the name of our financing agent too. We are so happy with the car and with the dealership experience. These folks are REAL, and easy to deal with. Thank you, Rye Subaru.

Not only is their customer service awful, when I went to to have my car's air bags check, I had personally belongings stolen from the vehicle. I called them about this and they brushed it off and essentially said that I was lying and trying to take advantage of the. Would expect more from Subaru. Wouldn't suggest going there even if it is your last option. Awful dealership. Worst I have ever dealt with.

If I could give zero stars I would. From sales to service Rye disappointed at every turn. We purchased a certified pre-owned 2014 Outback in August from Neil Downing. From the moment we picked up the car we should have known that we were scammed. On arrival they notified use that the car was in the shop getting a belt fixed that they noticed at the last minute. When we inspected the car we realized they didn't even bother to detail the car (which was promised when we put the deposit down two weeks before). I wish the problems stopped at the detailing but right out of the gate we had issues with the alignment as well as the brake indicator light. We brought it back...again...and they promised they fixed everything. At this point we were beginning to think something was up so we took it to another Subaru dealership for a full inspection. Unsurprisingly they found that the tires failed inspection, the brakes were almost failing inspection, and a service bulletin to replace a belt had not been followed. We called Rye Subaru and were placed in the hands of Angelo. That's where things went from bad to worse. He immediately had an attitude and when I asked for the 152 pre-owned inspection report, which is supposed to be available at anytime, he promised he would get it...only to call back later and say their service department lost it. DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE. We are still dealing with Subaru Corporate to get our issues resolved and our car in proper working order and it has been 2 months since we purchased the car. You would think that after all of these issues they would at least have good customer service...NOPE. The only person working there that has any idea of how to treat a customer is Jamie...she is amazing.

Went there today to buy a used wrx on the lot. I had $27,000 cash in hand and before i could say anything other then "is the car still for sale" the sales person said the manager isnt taking a cent off the cars listed price of $27,900!!!! I will never ever go there again or recommend this pathetic dealership to anybody!!!??????

On March 1, 2014, we leased a Subaru Forester from Rye Subaru. This is the first time we have leased a Subaru. Our salesperson, Derrick Giese, was great. Not only was he totally knowledgeable about all options available, he was both professional and friendly at the same time. We have been leasing vehicles for over 12 years (and once with a Mercedes dealer) and never has anyone spent so much time explaining every detail of the car when we picked it up. In addition, he followed up with a phone call to see how we liked the vehicle and if we needed any questions answered regarding it. (and to please call in the future if you need any questions answered).Obviously, customer service is a priority at Rye Subaru. Our entire experience was positive and we highly recommend this dealership.

I had an excellent experience from start to finish. I came to Rye Subaru to see a specific used car I saw via Cars.com I test drove the car with myself and the person I arrived with. I came back, made an offer if I could take the car home that day. The dealership rushed the car into service for the safety inspection, other inspection(s), wash, detail, etc. all the stuff the dealer does before every car leaves the lot. It took a few hours of credit checks, warranty, finance payments, loan, etc. I took the car home a couple hours after arriving at the dealer. Such a great experience. The salesman & the financial guy were both very solid guys. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone.

I bought a Subaru Impreza Limited which had a problem from the outset. I contacted the service department and they tried their best to take care of the problem. The service manager, Darlene Challacombe is a pleasure to work with. Her staff are all top notch and that is a reflection of her managerial skills. The owner of the dealership Jim Kingery called me several times and assured me that he and Subaru will make me happy. They did. After contacting Subaru of America as advised by the dealership and being assigned Gretchen as my customer service rep I was in another car shortly thereafter.I've had Nissan's and Honda's that had problems but I was never treated this well by their dealerships or their corporate staff. Kingery Subaru went to bat for me and helped get me a replacement vehicle. I must admit that the four trips to the dealership to work out the problem was four trips more than I wanted to make. This is especially so with a brand new car but, Darlene's staff starting with Phil treated me well and gave me a loaner car each time. I guess, if I had to spend time at a dealer I'd rather it be there. In the end all my problems were addressed in a fair manner with no runaround. Would I buy a car here again? To paraphrase Humphrey Bogart at he end of the movie Casablanca, Jim Kingery this looks like the beginning of a beautiful relationship. Would I recommend others to this dealership? Of course.*** Wish that I didn't have to edit this review but I must. After a few weeks my new registration was mailed to me by Rye Subaru. Unfortunately they registered the car at my old address. The first car that I had to return was registered correctly at my new address so this was a case of sloppy paperwork on the part of the dealership. I called my salesperson Nancy B. and explained to her that the car was not registered at the correct address. She told me that she would get right back to me. I waited a week and called her since her idea of getting right back to someone is quite different than mine or possibly yours. I left a message on her voice mail and later in the day I didn't receive a call back but an email stating that I had to go to motor vehicles and take care of the problem myself. I did and the car is properly registered at proper address. I'll still do business with Rye Subaru in the future and I will recommend them to friends and family as well but I'll probably be dealing with another salesperson who can return a phone call when they say they'll get right back and not have me wait a week for me to call them. That's unacceptable.

I've been dealing with Rye Ford Subaru since about 2004. I've leased 3 Ford Explorers. All fantastic overall. But what kept me always coming back to them is the quality of work and kindness from Peter Micelli and the laid back service. Meaning the no pressure or rush service towards the customer. Annie was great and knows everything it is to help the customer in deciding on what to finally buy. If I have a problem they'll be right there to help solve it. I went there to lease a new vehicle from this dealership after purchasing one from there a few years ago. I was primarily interested in cost and told Mike, the manager, that I was flexible on color and trim level but needed a manual transmission car with 15k miles per year. He told me that he could give me a 42 month lease with 15k miles per year for $198/ month. He wrote out the terms of the deal on a piece of paper for me. It sounded good, but I had my daughter with me, so I couldn't test drive until the next day. He told me that it wouldn't be a problem and he'd even try to hold a car for me. The next day, the test drive went well and I was ready to make a deal on the lease.Much to my surprise the price had now increased to $240/month -- a 20% increase!When I stated I had the piece of paper with his handwriting laying out the terms, he stated there was nothing he could do and that was the price. Needless to say, I decided to take my business elsewhere.

Purchased my vehicle new at this dealership. I only brought vehicle in for service when warranty related. Given the runaround and unsolicited advice from mechanics trying to discourage me. Service Manager was accommodating only after I mentioned reporting to SOA. I find this dealership to be slack in quality of mechanical service and trouble shooting. After 4 years finally got to speak with one of the better mechanics there. Problems getting a loaner. I had to be persistent. When I purchased my new car the loaner policy was to get a new one of the same model (not a tiny car that I would not feel safe in). The loaners were filthy and smelled heavily of cigars. Regarding the Service Desk and one man in particular... He needs to realize he is serving the public as well as representing Rye Subaru. He is most condescending and hardly makes eye contact. Subaru has relocated the Service Dept and now that you are out of the "shop" take a lesson in communication and manners-be thankful for your job. Rye/Subaru shows preference and is accommodating to the local residents. This is a common fault in "privileged" Westchester County. I can see that Rye Subaru carries the lowest ratings. I know I am "dead on" about my experience with them. If they don't care, then they will disappear.

I ordered a car and was told it would take 4-6 weeks. After 4 weeks dealer manager calls and says I can either take it in another color or with an option I didn't ask for and would have to pay for, wait another 6 weeks and then they couldn't guarantee the car. Feel like my car came in and they sold it to someone willing to pay more for it. Don't trust this dealer.

I've never had a good service experience with this place. To begin, the service manage is a rude, obnoxious man who does not care about his customers. He began to argue with me telling me I was absolutely wrong about what was causing the problem with my car (I knew I was right, I've worked in the car industry, but the vehicle is under warranty so why should I be paying for my own parts and repair work). In the end I went elsewhere and found out I was right about the problem. I got my vehicle back missing a lug nut from them and they told me I brought it in without it (I didn't -- they lost it during a tire rotation). I will never, ever bring a car to these people for work ever again. They are absolutely horrible -- I've had to call SoA to complain about them.

Worst dealer just bought a Subaru from them and when I got home and brought it to my mechanic he asked me who passed your car for the inspection? The tires had no threads and a bubble andrhe brake pads in the back were to low to pass.. The back windshield wiper is broken and the inside of the car was never cleaned I found under the seat food in a bag and a coffee cup on the other side!!!! The people where nice but I guess that's where I got suckered in!!
