Washington state law totally favors used car dealers. When you buy a used car, you sign a statement that says no warranty, as is. The dealer doesn't have to do anything for you if the car fails. Sabeti Motors implements this law completely. We bought a used car from them which they said their mechanics had checked out. 183 miles and 3 days later, we had a blown head gasket. Sabeti Motors refused to exchange the car for another of equal value or to give any discount on the cost of fixing the car. Don't ever buy anything from them! We certainly won't again.

I had the best experience buying a used car at Sabeti Motors. "British Mike" helped me find the car I was looking for he. His character is cheery and charming, and I felt welcome there. However, it wasn't in that phony salesmen sort of way, it was sincere. I felt no pressure whatsoever, and I was happy to have all my questions answered in an honest descriptive manner. They gave me an honest CarFax report, and all their cars go through a mechanical inspection, addressing all necessary maintenance. Today, my husband and I went to Sabeti Motors in Tacoma to look at a truck we'd seen online. We found a parking spot and began looking around for the sales office. We were greeted by a gentleman who introduced himself as "D", and asked us how he could be of help. We told him that we were there to look at a specific truck as well as to meet with Mike. Rather than give directions or point in the general direction, D took time away from what he had been doing to walk us through the shop, across the street into another building, locate Mike and personally introduce us to him. D's genuine kindness and attentiveness was so refreshing! Getting that kind of a customer service is rare and quite noteworthy. We proceeded to work with Mike, going over the details of the truck during the test drive. We had a really enjoyable time talking with him! Close to both the beginning and the end, Mike welcomed me to drive as only my husband had driven. I was impressed with his awareness of the situation, in that I too, was a partner in the potential purchase of the Ford F350. Again, noteworthy. Provided agreeable terms, we wanted to go forward with the purchase as well as trade in our car. Mike introduced us to Art, with whom we entered into the most respectful and relaxed negotiations in our vehicle purchasing history. It felt more like an ongoing conversation rather than an uncomfortable seller/buyer situation. Our entire experience with the Sabeti Motors staff was outstanding.

Mike the Brit was who took care of us, and we instantly were put at ease. He worked with us to get the best deal with the options available to us, and were with us every step of the way. My wife and I were looking for a car to replace our aging SUV. We found a car on the Sabeti.com website and went to the dealership the next afternoon to take a look at it. When we got to the dealership the salesman that approached us, Mike Thacker, was very polite and set my wife and I at ease. During the drive Mike indicated some of the features of the car but other than a few short statements he sat in silence. My Friends car broke down the day before and (dead engine) so he and me where looking for a used car around. We look around and read some reviews on the used car dealerships close to us and after looking online we found Sabeti Motors on a google search, we decided to go down to check them out and looked around and ran into Michael (the English Man). We got to know a little bit about each and then we told him that we are looking for a good reliable used car. He pointed us to a 2008 Mazda 3 that was on the lot and we took it took it for a test drive and the looked at others after thinking about we end up deciding to take the Mazda, they even offered to finance the car in house instead of going to a third party. The has been running fine for about 2 and half weeks now.

Just recently purchased a car from here and the experience couldn't have been better. Mike Jenkins (the Englishman!) was extremely helpful and kind both over the phone and in person, answering all our questions and even calling us when something concerning the car came up. He treated us like good friends and was dedicated to knowing the car as best as he could so he could inform us well. Took a test drive with him and he explained the car's driving style very easily so when I drove it after him, I was used to it in no time! When it came down to discussing the actual purchase for the car, Simon Sabeti was very clear and made sure we understood everything on the papers, and he seemed genuinely interested in getting us the best deal for our needs and budget! Sabeti Motors is an honest company with fantastic service & people and several great, cared-for vehicles on their lot. They're fifty miles from us but it was worth every bit to travel there instead of the closer dealerships. If I ever need another vehicle or if someone asks for a recommendation, this place will be my first call! P.S.: Make sure you stop at Patty's Burgers & Milkshakes afterwards! Just a two-minute walk down the street afterwards! Great place, better food!

I have bought three cars from them. The first two were great, we felt taken care of even though had bad credit. The owner you can tell cares about his business and it shows in his customer service. Unfortunately his employees seem to not share the same customer service. Buying our third car there was a minor issue that they fixed for me. However, once the deal went through and car was in shop, we became less prioritized by the employees. Instead of being called when our car was done we had to keep calling, or getting replies like "I'll check in a bit". Then 4-5 hours later I would have to call again. Needless to say I'm disappointed. I can say though when the owner was available he would check asap. I think the employees need a big training on how to not only treat customers but repeat customers. Insead of replies like "I'll check in a bit" it should of been "can I put you on hold I'll check right now" or "I'm a little busy right now but I will have ---- check and give you a call back"

I have terrible credit, went here bought an Audi, then a Cadillac and now a hummer and this time financed with a bank. The owner is nice and gets you the best deals. They try to make sure any of the cars you get are what you want and that they are in good working order. I have been to many dealerships and this is the one I'll keep going back to. The staff are friendly and they try to remember who you are. It makes buying here more pleasurable.

So I've been considering getting a better car for some time but very nervous about where to go get one from. Well, if that many people immediately say that, then I must go see what they are talking about. I gave him a call and easily set up my appointment and felt like he wasn't the typical everyday car salesman just by our initial conversation. What a great guy, he asked me more questions than I asked him and answered my questions before I had a chance to ask them. That was amazing. my wife and I went to about 7 dealerships trying to trade out of a vehicle we just couldnt afford anymore, we took a pay cut and couldnt handle the amount anymore plus we were upside down on the vehicle we owned. every dealership said they wanted 6000 down or our payments would be in the 500s which would put us back at square 1. When all hope was lost we stopped for one last try at Sabeti Motors and it was the best visit, the staff was awesome they understood our situation and gave 1000% of effort and we drove away with our new vehicle with payments almost $300 dollors cheaper. Ralph greeted me way different than expected. Not hounding me, but Simply welcomed me to the dealership and assured me that I was going to have a informative experience regardless even if wasn't going to purchase. never thought I'd need to get a car financed till I blew a head gasket in my car and had no way to get to work and not enough money to buy a car for cash. Met this guy at the barbershop and he told me he sells cars and can finance almost anyone. I wasn't sure if I was a qualified client but he assured me I'd leave with a car and when I went to his dealership I saw for myself that this guy is the real deal. My experience was not what I expected. I was thinking they were going to try to put me in either A- A ugly car i didn't want for high payment or B- A junker... NEITHER! Reading a good deal of these phony reviews most likely schemed by the dealership itself has concreted by opinion of this establishment. They didn't even put the effort to differentiate them from each other, most of them end the same word for word. I would warn all potential customers to practice extreme caution when dealing with these individuals. The dealership is swathed in deception and fixed with a self benefit ploy. I was a foolish young adult purchasing my new car and they took complete advantage of the situation. They fixed me up with a "perfectly good" vehicle, which needed $6,000 dollars of repairs for SAFE operation. No, accountability was performed on their part. I will take a some responsibility and say that I made grave mistake, but do not do the same. I urge anyone shopping here practice extreme caution. Take the car to a trust worthy mechanic before purchase, and if they don't left you, leave. But my final recommendation is to steer clear of the deception.

We came in on kind of a whim, trying to see about trading in a Mini Cooper. Donny came up to us in the parking lot and was perfectly cordial. Really great guy, got us a sweet hookup on an '04 Ford Focus SVT. These guys are the real deal and I'd tell my mom to buy from them if she didn't live in Florida. Purchased a car in December and 2 days after I drove off the lot the car had all sorts of issues. Took it back and they fixed the brakes (because they were down to the metal) but reminded me that it was "AS IS NO WARRANTY" I then took it to the dealership to get oil changed and they recommended over 6k in repairs needed of which 2k needed done right AWAY. I wasn't going to write anything negative in regards to this until a week later I received a nasty voicemail from Shane at Sabeti motors saying that I needed to call him about money I owed him. My wife states she has paid them what we owed but Shane says she hasn't so I asked for them to send me a statement so I can compare what was paid to what was owed.. 2 weeks later still no email and no more calls to my phone yet my brother said he received a call from Shane trying to get ahold of me.. I was shocked that this guy would be calling my reference's and not just replying to my e-mails that I have sent! Its no wonder that they asked me to fill out a positive review for them before I had drove off the lot. That is how they have 5 stars.. I will no longer recommend this place to anyone.

I was on the bus telling the bus driver a good friend of mine that I was going to a car lot to buy a car and told him what they told me on the phone and he said I needed to see his cousin Ralph first. I immediately called him set up an appointment and went to see him. Being I found out I know his entire family and being I have known his father many years I felt right at ease. No gimmicks or fast talking salesman here, laid back mellow and a problem solver. He gave it to me straight what i needed to get a car so i promised him I'll be back once I got my finances in order. 3 weeks later, called him up again, set my appointment and he did just as promised, got me into a great vehicle that I could afford without over exerting my finances. I didn't think I was going to be able to get another one due to what I thought was credit issues. I had went to a few car lots and was turned down over and over. A friend of mine got a car from Ralph at Sabeti Motors and he gave me a flyer so I contacted him. I was expecting to see a bunch of beat up cars but instead saw a GREAT INVENTORY! So many different types of cars from new types to old school classics as well as any other type of car anyone would want. Low down payment and monthly payments i can afford makes me a happy guy. So about three days ago, I went to Sabeti Motors to by a new car. Right away I had a great feeling from all the people there. There were smiles and nobody gave me a bad vibe whatsoever. My Salesman, Joseph was extremely helpful, along with Art and Shane Sabeti himself. They were all vey professional and made sure I felt comfortable buying. I went to four or five other dealerships previously and I didn't go back to them. The cars are all very fairly priced and they make sure that all paperwork and other necessary options were available. Not once did I feel as if they were cheating me. The car I bought was a used Charger, and they told me everything I should make sure to inspect before buying. They were all straight forward and weren't hassling me into getting as much money out of me as possible like many other dealers I've been to. Thank you guys again for helping me out!

I called before coming in the first time and when I got there Simon was there to meet me with my car of interest ready. When I was in the market for a pre owned vehicle I typed best dealership reviews in Pierce County, and Sabeti Motors was at the top of the list. And sure enough Sabeti Motors lived up to their reputation. And when I came to the dealership Simon Sabeti was the salesmen that helped me and he was most adequate on finding me the best/inexpensive way for me, despite my credit history I was still able to get into my top choice car at an reasonable price. They were flexible on price with my vehicle. Got a good price out the door for my 03 honda pilot. Simon Sabeti showed me the vehicle. We looked at it in the shop and found a fair price after the inspection. Very nice people. I'd recommend buying from these guys and would come back for another vehicle if they had what I'm looking for. I drove 70 miles for this rig and it was worth the trip.

I came into Sabeti's because a friend at work had many nice things to say about this dealership. He purchased a couple vehicles from here and was very satisfied. I came in and was pleasantly greeted by Mike Thacker. I was just looking for a car but not really ready to purchase anything at the time. I have a older vehicle but wanted something newer and more reliable as I travel down to Portland quite a bit. I told him what my needs were in a vehicle, pricing, size,etc. I also was needing financing and am starting over to repair my credit. I am divorced and came in kinda nervous to shop on my own. I had worked a long day and was tired and hungry. Mike showed me some vehicles and I found one I really liked. We test drove it. Mike even took me down the street and bought me a burger as I don't make decisions on a empty stomach. We got to know each other a bit. He really took the edge off of being alone shopping for a car. I explained my financial situation. They were very willing to work with me, my trade in, deferring my down payment, and even taking a trailer as a trade in as well. I like to pray on things overnight and I told them I would return the next day with my decision. As I was pulling in the lot the next day, Mike was actually calling my phone following up and thanking me. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. They were very trusting of me to get info i did not have at the time the next day. They answered all of my questions and did not make me feel as if they were silly questions. Mike was very patient and even let me take another test drive. I actually drove out of there with a new (used) car. I am so excited. They made it quick and painless. I have to say it was one of the best buying experiences I have ever had. No hard pressure techniques... no sitting in little rooms for hours...Everything was out in the open. Mike and everyone put all of my fears at ease. I will most definitely refer Sabeti's, Mike, Shane, Amanda and everyone there to anyone needing to purchase a car. It was an exceptional buying experience.

Buyer beware, I bought a car last summer from them and I have had nothing but problems. One week into owning the car I had to replace the "new" tires that they said it had after two of them couldn't hold air. Right after I got the car out of the tire shop, the check engine light came on & the car wouldn't idle properly. I had to have it taken in and replace the O2 sensors & plugs. After about a month and a half of thinking "the worst is over" I had to replace the throwout bearing and clutch, my ASE certified mechanic friend said it was "one of the worst" throwout bearings he has had to replace in his career of 20+ years! He also cautioned me about the timing belt & drive belts considering the miles that the car had and a concerning bearing noise he was hearing from the engine. I replaced the drive belts & examined the idler, but the bearing noise only got worse. It continued to deteriorate and I had my mechanic replace the timing belt just last week, he informed me someone had already been in there and replaced parts with the wrong bearings and the idlers were completely shot. Another BIG repair bill for a car i've barely had a year. I haven't put more than 6k on the car and i've had to shell out $3000+ for repairs on this car. These crooks patch up abused auction cars to leave the lot in one piece and give you the shaft once you leave. I also suspect the "carfax" reports they hand you are doctored and do not reflect the actual history of the car. DO NOT let the smooth talking, courteous sales people fool you, most of their inventory is junk. I picked "one of the nicer cars" they had on the lot and its been nothing short of a nightmare. The bimonthly emails they send you are a nice punch to the stomach while you are dealing with their junkyard specials.

On an impulse, I called 'just to see' about a classic Ford Maverick coupe that I saw on the Sabeti Motors website. I spoke with a marvelous fellow of British stock named Mike Jenkins who worked with me to arrange a visit to see and test drive the car. (I actually lived in a nearby state) It was in amazing condition for it's age, almost completely stock/original despite it's age. I did have plans for work that was recommended by a mechanic who I chose to inspect it, based on it's years, but was able to reach a good price with the dealership owner Shane Sabeti. I am extremely happy and very satisfied with my purchase- the car really is everything they promised it was. Great car, Great service, Great deal! Thanks again, Mike and Shane, it was a pleasure!

salesmen Simon and Mike are super helpful. They were so patient to find me the car that I really wanted! they will tell you straight up what's good no lies.. They even gave me a check to get an electronic cigarette coz I am a smoker to help me not to get hard times paying my monthly car payment.they are nice;)

Cannot say enough good things about this place!! Working right down the street, I drive by this place daily and had been eyeing this crazy cute VW Beetle Convertible. As a female who knows absolutley nothing about cars, I initially was timid in looking to purchase a new car. From the moment my mom and I got there we felt so comfortable and welcomed. John Brooks was so friendly and helpful! He even had them put in a brand new battery and wash the car before I drove it off the lot. They were very accomodating when it came to financing as well. All and all I was very pleased with the experience I had at Sabeti Motors!!

We began our journey with Shane at Sabeti Motors approximately 6 years ago and we were pleased from the moment we walked in. They were able to give us a great deal on our trade-in and made us a proud owner of something for our new family to enjoy. We have since then purchased 3 more cars from them, with the most current one from Simon Sabeti. He is not a typical salesman at all! Wouldn't sell me the car until I could pronounce it right and truly understood the car's value. They helped me with financing options. I couldn't say enough good things about Sabeti's!

Sabeti Motors was extremely helpful in putting me into a car. They are very understanding of these tough financial times and did everything possible to put me in a vehicle the same day, But they are not pushy like other dealerships are and make you feel as if you have to purchase a vehicle from them. They are very courteous and very kind. This is the second car I have purchased through them and is definitely not the last one. Anyone who comes into Sabeti looking for a vehicle will not have to look any further because they will be the ones!! Any questions I had they answered and any concern I had they put to rest. I will recommend anyone to Sabeti and have already had a neighbor purchase a car from them after my first encouraging experience! Anyone who comes to Sabeti will not be disappointed!!!!

I bought a vehicle from this dealer and within 50 miles of leaving the dealership the check engine light came on. I took it to a new car dealers shop to have it checked out and the catalytic converter was bad and needs to be replaced or about $900. The other repairs that it needs comes to about $2000 dollars. They are all nice and friendly but beware of their practices.

Buyer Beware....I purchased a 2001 Audi TT Quattro from this business on 06/13/11 and on 06/19/11 the vehicle broke down and was not drivable and cost me almost $4000 dollars in repairs(the clutch and flywheel needed to be replaced) and other related charges not including the amount of time that I was without the vehicle(from 06/19/11 - 06/30/11). I contacted the business after the car broke down and was given the name of a mechanic that works for them during the day because he does side work. So now I am suspicious about the whole transaction and I am wondering if this was a setup. They sell a car that needs work and then if the customer contacts them, the mechanic that works for them is recommended to do the work. At this point I am not very comfortable with the whole situation. Why should I have somebody who works for Sabeti's work on my car, when it should have been taken care of to begin with? When Sabeti's was contacted after the problem had been diagnosed, it was stated that there was no reason that the clutch and flywheel should have gone out so quickly and basically that's just how things go. Since I am in the military, I want to make sure that nobody else is taken advantage of like I was. I was looking for a good decent car to get me around while I am stationed at Fort Lewis.
