Originally I reviewed sansone & gave raves to the dealership & Walter as well. Unfortunately when I needed their help with a financial matter, they told me "too bad". I wanted the best rate & to do so they changed the finance company, causing me to incurr a $600 surcharge from the previous financier. Never again will I use sansone again!

I went into Sansone Mazda after being at several dealers and my enthusiasm for finding a car pretty much diminished. I walked into Sansone Mazda and all my enthusiasm returned, the atmosphere of the whole place put me at ease and all my questions were answered. I found myself in a Mazda CX-5 Sport and I knew before the test drive that it was the car I wanted to drive away in. After I was finished with the test drive I was greeted by GM Steve Sansone. He was super polite and assured me that they would do everything they could to allow me to drive off in the car I wanted. He was true to his word and not long after we spoke I was driving home in my new car. I will be returning to Sansone Mazda for my future cars and will be recommending them to anyone looking for a new car.

Well, here is how my day went-Went on internet to price used car. Saw 2 that I liked, sent email enquiry. The next morning 2 internet referral people contacted me, wondering when i was coming in to see cars. I went down to dealership in early afternoon. First, went into Hyundai Dealership to see another vehicle. Sat in model on the floor. No one offered to assist, or introduce themselves. Sales people looking at me, but no one came over. Then went to Mazda/Used Car showroom. One of the car's i wanted I didn't like, the car was on the lot. The other car that I really liked, wasn't even on the lot. I was told it was getting bodywork at this time. So, here is the elephant sitting in the chair question-Why did you have me come down, reach out to me 2x to confirm if I would come down, when a vehicle I wanted wasn't even there...?Will never go back...they lost out on a 10k down payment, and getting another car off the lot.

Vinny Crispino turned around my opinion of Samson. It was very negative. I was reluctant to have my kids speak to a salesman at this dealership. But Vinny was great. Easy to talk to. No pressure. Took a genuine interest in my daughter and son-law who were leasing their first car. Very helpful, pleasant, funny. Look for Vinny when you go to the Mazda store.

Received an online quote for Mazda 3, I called to verify the numbers and was told they included all except tax, doc fee and MV charges, that it would be the Out the Door price minus those fees.. I asked if the car was in stock and they said yes, so I went there immediately. When I got there, Shaun, the salesman said he would take me out in a loaded Mazda 3 Grand Touring sedan even though I specifically showed him the online quote one. He brought in Steve, the manager , who said they could try and order the one I inquired online but would do even better by discounting the loaded one by the same discount amount or more than the one I brought in on paper from them( email printed up). I called and also came back a few days later and salesmen said they would honor deal but then on closing they tacked on amore than a $1000 extra as they said my numbers were off., I advised him that my numbers and the salesman's numbers for the Out the Door price were exactly correct(same) as the salesman had it in writing and much lower than the one today and he, himself(Steve) had given them to us. I walked out as this is a dishonest way of doing business. I would tell anyone to avoid them at all costs as they are dishonest., The car they told me on the phone was not there but got me in to their showroom, from where they tried to switch me to a loaded vehicle. Topping that was they had no intention of honoring their word on the amount, only to get me out once I mentioned this was a classic Bait and switch maneuver.

Leasing/Buying a new car can be stressful but Marleny and the rest of the staff made the experience as stress-free as possible. I came to look around confused and afraid of making the wrong decision. Ronnie Vitta my sales person gave me the guidance I needed to find my dream car. Once I test drove the mazda CX-5 my heart melted. I just had to have this car. Mr.Vitta went above and beyond to make my family felt comfortable during the paper work process. I went in not expecting to anything, my credit not really good and I was greeted by The BEST salesman ever he made me feel at ease and said "I promise you will leave here with a reliable vehicle. Not only did I leave with a reliable vehicle but he was patient with me until I found the car that I absolutely love and It was affordable for my budget. While I was there my phone died he even searched for a compatible phone charger to power my phone, this guy is amazing if ever you visit this dealership ask for Christopher Carammucci Trust me you will be in the best hands this dealership has ( He's at the Mazda section )... I went in with a 2009 Honda Civic base model and came out with a brand new Mazda 3 Hatchback. This was such a beautiful experience. I never thought I'd own a new car. As i walked through the show room I was greeted by a very personal guy, Ronnie Vitta. He was patient and did his job with a smile , song and dance. (literally) He made not only the buying experience less stressful but the whole day in general. I was there from opening til about 2pm and wished I could have stayed in his company longer. He listened to what I wanted and explained to me the details of the whole financing vs leasing. Not once was he pushy or trying to get me into what I couldnt afford. Then when we picked out a car, he took me in to see Susan Viegas, who did all the paper work and explaining about the different protection options. She was a sweety also and in all my day was GREAT!!!!! I would tell whoever wanted to get a new or used car to see them both . I stopped by to have my car serviced. While I waited, I stepped in the dealer to check out the 2015 CX-9. Ronnie Vitta greeted me and helped me get a test drive in the CX-9. I used a TrueCar deal and tried to buy a Mazda. The sales told me that if I want to get the TrueCar price, I have to add a 3000 dollars package due to the sentences at the bottom of the deal. Actually it is not true. I called TrueCar and confirmed that I do not need that package to get the price, and those sentences do not mean that either. When I tried to ask the sales to give me a number so I can prepare for the money, he added several things again. He said if I want to change my rims, I need a 1000 dollar lifetime insurance or whatever it calls. Also, I need a 299 window edges thing, besides that, I could not figure out the number he told me compare to my calculation. There's a 800 dollars difference.I'm really upset about their works, and when I tried to get my deposit back, the manager said he has to give TrueCar a reason that why this deal is cancelled. He saw nothing about his employee, but a misunderstanding between me and the sales. Come on, there are three of us, can all of us hear that wrong? He just want some excuses to keep his reputation. Anyway, I do not trust them anymore, and I would not buy cars from them.

Don't know about dealership but their Mechanics and Repair Shop is one crooked operation.They will not do any diagnostics or anything but will only do service if they can sell you some expensive parts. Also they will tell you some internal problems (LIES) which you cannot verify immediately...but got to pay the diagnostics bill of $138 +

They did not complete anything and are not knowledgeable about out of state sales. I purchased a vehicle months go, it too my weeks to receive my plates, they never called me with updates or status. I have a suspended license because they did not surrender my plates, I have to drive hundreds or miles in an attempt to correct their mistakes to learn about the suspension. Ken never sent my CD as he promised. This investment was was mistake.

Replacing a vehicle at the end of the lease is never my favorite process. There was a time when leasing made the transaction quicker - but I don't think speed and new cars go together well anymore (after the test drive). Nevertheless, I had a very positive experience at Sansone's Mazda store today. The selection process was easy - as this store has so many configurations on the lot and ready for sale. The paperwork process is always challenging - but I left for a while and returned - still took another 90 minutes to get the car and get out the door. Worked with Charlie Smith who helped us for the second time in less than 60 days as we know have 2 Mazdas in the garage. Highly recommend Charlie if you're looking at the Mazda brand.

Is looking for a used Honda. I found a Civic in good shape and good range into this SANSONE dealership. I took the appointment for particular car for next day. Next day I called and make sure that car is still available for test drive, After getting big YES from them when I reached to their dealership and met Mr. Dennis Rodriguez, n asked about car n BOOM BOOM I found that car is in body shop n not available for test drive. I said okay let me know whenever its ready as Is ready to buy it. This guy makes me believe that Im the person whom he gonna call when ever car is ready. But, before he call me I call him everyday n ask him about that same car. He always told me same answer as car is in body shop. Since the first day of my visit to sansone dealership I checked their website and particular cars status. One day I found that car sold without even notifying me, and Mr. Dennis a great person he even dont even have curtesy to inform me before make a deal to someone else as I always told him to buy that car in the prize they wanted. They all are bunch of liars and their commitments has no value at all.

My wife and I went to buy a new car. We thought we would go to Sansone since there was a huge selection of brands. We chose the Mazda CX-5 and dealt with Aroon. He was very nice and we agreed on a good price for the car. We chose the one in the show room and since we added remote start we went back a few days later to pick it up. When we went back the car was not cleaned properly, the wheel locks were not installed, and there was a nick in the hood. Mike Abreu got into an argument with my father-in-law and was very rude to him as well. We made sure our contract stated that we would get a loaner car for when the hood was repaired. We went back a few days later to drop the car off to get the hood fixed. I received a call yesterday at 3:30 pm telling me the car was ready and to please come back because they need the loaner. We could not make by 5:30 pm so we went the next day at 7:15 am. The hood was fixed but the car was filthy, dust everywhere from sanding down the hood to prep it. *This car was detailed 8 days earlier* I told Rosie I was not happy with the car because it was not cleaned and she said to take it up with Mike Abreu. I called him when I got to work and he said what did you expect, you came here at 7 am. I explained you wanted the car back the night before so how did I know it wasnt cleaned. He was very rude and told me to bring the car back to get it detailed. This would be the 5th trip and after leaving it, I would have to go back for the 6th time to pick up the car. He also made comments about how I had to call my wife to schedule the appointment, as if I was not man enough to handle this himself. This guy is a big tough one behind the phone thinking he is all high and mighty. He is unprofessional, disrespectful, so I guess he makes the perfect fit for a car salesman.

Went to Truecar.com and they had the best price. Got to dealer ship and of course no cars at that price because they add $3000 worth of add ons to every car. Checked and the add ons are worth about $500 at best. As for my trade they were $6,000 under the under dealers I had visited. I told them I thought that making between 14 and 16 thousand dollars on my trade was a bit much, they gave me a song and dance until i showed them what the car was selling for at a number of dealers.Typical bait and switch in my opinion.Sales person Chris was nice but it didn't seem that he had any input to the pricing, as he had to get everything from the sales manager. He was ok to deal with.

I purchased a vehicle in March 2014 and later found out that there was an odometer issue with the vehicle, I brought the car back expecting a refund because of the issue. I had the proof of the odometer discrepancy with me and I was informed by Dean Sansone that there was noting they could do. I had the car a little over a month and figured they would do something for me because the odometer was wrong. They offered to take the car in as a trade and give me book value of the car which was $7,000.00 less than what I purchased it for. No other dealership will take the car because of the odometer problem.I have contacted the State Consumer Affairs Division and filed a complaint, I have a police report and will now pursue some sort of legal action.My attorney tells me that I am entitled to triple damages and attorney cost, but I now have to go through this ordeal and it would have been much easier for them to jut give me a refund. I even told them I would buy another vehicle there if they agreed to the exchange.I would use caution when purchasing a vehicle from this dealership.

We had originally intended to get a used car (thought new was out of our price range). Dennis did a great job working with us and we had a good price on a black Ford Escape. After thinking about it overnight we changed our minds and decided to go with the Mazda CX-5 (2013 or 2014). We were unable to reach an agreement on a price for one of the used cars. He searched around and found a NEW car that fit into our price range from the same type, model year and options. Love the new car and we think it's actually nicer than the used one we looked at. Walter meet my mom and I at the door with a friendly smile. He waited for use to tell him what we where interested in rather than something else. He took us for a test ride that was long enough to really get the feel of the car. He should me the the buttons on the car and answered all my questions. Upon our return he took us on a tour of the dealership and really made us feel part of the "family". HE stayed with us while we waited for the initial paper work to be done and had a nice conversation with us. Walter made the whole experience pleasant and smiled the whole time.

Let me just preface this review with the fact that this is truly my first ever time writing review. I find this important because honestly I have never found the need to actually write a review. This place really was the worst though. We went there over Memorial Day weekend and I truly believed we would be in for an awesome experience. Boy, was I wrong! We dealt mainly with the Mazda dealership and they were just the worst. Downright mean, sketchy, and un-engaging. Our salesperson was named Joseph. He was extremely nasty and really needed major anger management help. He was consistently snapping at my husband and was very condescending. This really should have been my first clue. They had given us an online quote which ended up being completely off ( read next paragraph). Then as we went for a test drive and Joe decided that stopping at the stop sign wasn't important. We were soo close to getting into an accident it was ridiculous. Joe instead of being apologetic began to yell and scream obscenities at the other driver. Joe honestly needs to be fired. In regards to their policies, the entire Sansone Auto Mall is very unethical and are a complete scam. Their MSRP price is not really the price of the car because of the extra "specials" on the car which they don't tell you about until your about to sign a contract. Then you conveniently find out that someone "forgot" to put the extra sticker on the car you were looking at. This was just craziness to us as most MSRPs include all specials in the price. So when we found out about this extra sticker, we decided it was time to leave. As we were walking towards the door, Joe decided to go to one of the other salespeople and talk about us in front of us! I just couldn't believe the audacity.Never in my life have I seen this kind of behavior. If I could I probably would give this dealership negative stars. Please, please do not waste your time. There are so many better car dealerships around. This place needs to be shut down and Joe needs to be fired.

After this crazy winter has left the roads of NJ full of pot holes, I had damage to two of my tires/rims on my new 2014 Mazda6. Good Morning Robyn,I just want to tell you of my New Car Purchase experience on Saturday. Joseph Giannattasio was so nice to deal with. He made me feel very comfortable about my new purchase. We went over many options for me. I originally came down there to purchase a new used car for myself. after running my credit, he went above and beyond to get me approval for $15,000.We than proceeded to deduct my trade in and the $5000.00 deduction certificate and we concluded that a new car was better for me. I purchased a 2014 Mazda2 and am as happy as can be. The Finance manager was great in getting me a payment I can live and although the 72 month term is a little longer than I wanted to go. It works out for me to keep the car for a year or two than come down and get a new one again. It will also help to improve my credit and get me an even lower rate next time. My first time buying a car on my own and I am so beyond happy I went to Sansone Mazda. Tommy Richardson approached me as I walked in and was immediately warm, friendly and obviously established in this industry. He immediately asked where I was comfortable price wise and made sure there were cars I was interested in on the lot. He didn't push me or offer me anything I didn't want. He let me test drive a higher model than I was interested in and when I expressed that I wanted to see the Mazda3 in a base model in a different color he went back out to the back of the lot and dug another car out of the snow for me to look at. The customer service he provided was above and beyond what I expected to receive. He was confident he would get me the deal I wanted and can afford and he delivered. Never pushy, just confident that he could do this for me. The deal I got was great I was very happy and there was no pushy negotiating or anything, his sales manager John was also very accommodating and friendly and made it seem so smooth to get me the deal I wanted! No muss, no fuss, just good old fashioned guys who know how to work and give the customer what they want. I leased the car and Susan, the business manager, made the legal side of this nerve wracking experience so smooth I was in shock. Again, my first time getting a car on my own, so I was expectedly nervous and anxious and Susan went through everything with me, answered all my questions and was so patient while I took in all these legal documents I had no familiarity with. Susan told me "you can buy anything anywhere" and I must say she's right. These 3 people I dealt with (I'm sure the entire staff is great but I dealt solely with Tommy, John and Susan) are very aware that I could have bought this car from anywhere. But I came to them and they delivered. Above and beyond in customer service and I will definitely be dealing with them for all of my service needs and when its time for my next lease I will be calling Tommy again as I very much enjoyed my first car buying experience. This deal ended in hugs with them, which showed me that them I wasn't just another buyer or another number, which I appreciate.

I'm an experienced car buyer and I knew I wanted a CX-5 so I went to Sansone first based on (1) inventory size (2) distance from my home and (3) a very good, prior sales experience with Ron Kaplan at Sansone Nissan (years ago). I went on a weekday morning and I was welcomed with a relaxed atmosphere, I would say more relaxed than that of a typical showroom. I had done my homework so I looked around for a bit and I was soon approached by Dennis. I told him what I wanted and he quickly went to get me a test-drive vehicle that matched my request. I was offered coffee which was a nice touch. Dennis took me outside and showed me the vehicle, inside and out, including some technical features under the hood (Skyactiv technology) which was good. The test drive was a good length and he had me try out the turning radius and acceleration. I never felt pressured to buy the vehicle which was great. The negotiating experience was fairly typical for a car purchase (the usual back-and-forth if you are interested in that kind of thing) although I have to say that Dennis and his manager Mike did try to accommodate my requests, with persistence, and kept the transaction business-focused, rather than personal... "the numbers show x and here's how we can work with them" and "did you consider lengthening your lease term or changing your downpayment?" as opposed to "help me out" or "are you trying to put me out of business?" which are guilt-trip laden and ridiculous (and irrelevant). I drove home in my new vehicle after a generous offer for my trade-in, even though I didn't have it with me, four hours after I walked into the showroom, which was a good amount of time in my experience. Trade-in later that night was effortless. Although they met me essentially where I was targeting for price on the lease, it took a lot of negotiating to get there so I knocked off a point on Price; I also thought some of the dealer-added equipment (not optional) was overpriced, such as $595 for Nitrogen-filled tires and $599 for alloy cosmetic wheel protection. For Dennis's product knowledge and professionalism, and for the management's malleability on lease payment pricing without senseless personal appeal, I would go back and I would recommend these guys over others.

We checked individual reviews as well as the business bureau accreditations, which narrowed it down to Sansone Mazda in Avenel, NJ; which is 30 miles from my residence. We were pleasantly surprised with the high level of professionalism experienced during the negotiations and financing. They had the cars that best fit our needs and budget. We bought two cars; a black and a red one. Our sales person, Ziggy, went above and beyond to insure that we got the options we wanted within reason. Susan Viegas, Finance manager, expeditiously processed our paperwork and was very friendly. John Bellas , the general manager, treated us with the utmost respect and professionalism.

I stopped by Sansone to inspect a vehicle I saw online. Mr. Caramucci was friendly and courteous in responding to my inquiries. He also told me a deposit had been placed on the vehicle I was interested in weeks earlier, but the potential buyer never came back, so it was available for purchase. After inspecting the vehicle and expressing my interest, he asked for a deposit; I agreed to leave $500.00 on a credit card, and would close the deal in cash two days later. However, instead of running my card for $500.00, Sansone ran it for $2500.00. Mr. Caramucci told me of the "mistake," and asked if that were acceptable to me. I responded in the negative, so he said the $2000.00 overage would be credited back to my card that same day. On the day I was to pick up the vehicle, I received a text message saying, "Our other customer picked up the (vehicle). It will be my pleasure to show you another vehicle in our inventory. I look forward to seeing you later." I was furious as well as insulted at Sansone's deceptive business practices. When I arrived, I demanded my entire deposit. I was told "$2000.00 has already been credited back to my card, and the remaining $500.00 would also be credited by Monday." As of this writing, NONE OF MY $2500.00 DEPOSIT HAS BEEN CREDITED TO MY ACCOUNT! I filed a fraud complaint with the credit card issuer as well as the BBB. I will never recommend anyone do business with Sansone ever. I can't help wondering how they've managed to stay in business so long if this is how they conduct it.

I need to first say that my husband and I pass by Sansone Mazda quite often when we're running errands on the weekends. We were in the market for a used vehicle and were looking to purchase a used Subaru Forrester or Honda CR-V. We spoke with a few different sales advisors at other dealerships and were unsuccessful with closing the deal for various reasons-desired vehicle was sold or desired vehicle was not available.We decided to stop by Sansone one evening and to our pleasant surprise it was an overall pleasant experience! We stopped by the dealership to test drive and learn more about the Mazda SUV. We had no intentions of making a purchase that evening. However, our minds were changed when we were warmly greeted with a big smile by Aaroon Singh as soon as we walked in the front door. He walked us back to his desk and began to inquire about my interests. Mr. Singh was not pushy. He came across as helpful. It was clear that he was interested in helping us figure out what I needed and what vehicle would best suit my needs. As someone who's been in sales for over 10 years, I can attest that this is best approach because we as customers felt like we had someone who really cared about our needs as oppose to just trying to move out inventory as any cost.Furthermore, Aaroon diligently tried to work within our budget and when he quickly learned that none of the 2014 models were within my budget, he pulled in Keith to see what he could do for us in terms of inventory. Keith found us a vehicle fairly quickly and we put down a deposit and came back over the weekend to finish the negotiation process.Susan helped me secure a better interest rate on a new vehicle loan so I wouldn't have to run back and forth to my credit union to secure the funds. Susan was patient and took the time to explain all of the numbers. She allowed me to read through the contract so that I fully understood what I was reading and signing.Everyone that we came in contact with at this dealership were friendly, patient, and displayed a lovely sense of humor. Most importantly Aaroon, Keith and Susan were very helpful and understanding through this process. It has been 14 years since I last purchased a new car. The fact that I was in the market for a used SUV and purchased a new SUV in less than one week is a testament to the really good professional customer service I experienced at Sansone. Mr. Singh is mature and professional! Keith is very personable, warm and friendly as is Susan. We met a few sales advisors at other locations who were immature and inexperienced. Furthermore, I read online where quite a few of them received poor reviews online.The Sansone staff that we encountered were great! I would highly recommend the dealership to other people for sure.

I am hoping that they find my second key since I know from the Carfax that the vehicle arrived at Sansone with two keys when it came up from Florida. The sales staff that sold me my new Mazda was very disrespectful to me the sale of my new car. They make you fight for the price of the vehicle you want. I bought my car there because they were the only dealership in the area to have the color and model of my Mazda. The car they sold me was delivered improperly with a nonfunctioning navigation. After the deal was made, I was never taught how to use the new technology in my car and I found many more problems with the car as the days went by. I encountered a problem with my car after it was serviced and the general manager treated me like a child and did not respect me as a customer when I approached them with my problem. I had the most horrible new car experience and the sales staff and the general manager do not how to handle customers properly. If you want to be disrespected and haggle for the price you want then go here. I would never recommend this dealer to anyone.

First I'll start with - this was my third mazda but first from Sansone. and Wow - never shopping anywhere else again. Chris Caramucci was not pushy like other dealers I had encountered. He was extremely helpful, knew what he was talking about, sweet, and an all around great salesman. He did everything in his power to get me the deal and car that I wanted. I was in the market for a manual Mazda3. I tried a few other dealers and had bad experiences and found very few options to choose from. I came to Sansone Mazda and Chris Caramucci helped me out. They had 5 or 6 vehicles on the lot to choose from. I found the car I wanted and after some mild negotiating, I got a fair price. Walter Donnelly, the manager, came out during the negotiations. Chris and Walter were neither pushy or rude.. two traits I had become accustomed to from my other car-buying experiences. They were friendly, fair, and motivated to make a deal. Even the so-called "dreaded" finance room encounter was not bad at all. Susan was incredibly friendly and just gave a quick pitch for their extended warranty. One good thing to keep in mind about these guys.. Since they are an auto mall, they seem more willing to give fair prices for trade-ins. I was trading in a Toyota Corolla and some other Mazda-only dealers acted like taking my car would be a huge hassle. Chris looked it over and gave me a very fair price. Overall I would recommend this dealer, and specifically Chris Caramucci.

We used the True Car Buying Service for a Mazda CX-5. Overall experience was professional, very pleasant and easy. Ken Lutz (sales) was courteous, very helpful, made the car buying experience positive. Gene (financing) and Mark (Manager) were equally good and a pleasure to do business with.The only issue we had was not being informed of the "swap fee" we had to pay on our first visit. The car we wanted was not in stock, and were told they could find it, but were not told about the cost of the swap fee upfront ($600). Although the dealer could not remove the cost, Mark did offer a small reduction, and the use of their employee discount for accessories. Despite this misunderstanding, we decided accept his offer, and continue with the purchase since our overall experience was very positive and professional.

I worked with the Mazda Sales Consultant, Tom Radwanski. Once I decided to buy the car, he took me out on a test drive and I was hooked. The next step was negotiating the price of the car. This was the time i was both disappointing and impressed with the staff. I thought the price was too high because of several unanticipated charges that were included in the price of the car. Tom worked with me to decrease these unexpected charges and suggest ways (lease then buy, lease only, purchase a 2013 model) that I could leave the dealership that day with a car. After the negotiations were over I went to see the finance guy, Steve Sansone. He reduced the price even further to exactly what i wanted to originally pay for the car by offering me special incentives (bi monthly direct payments etc) and i walked out a happy man.

Steve Sansone made the expierence very enjoyable for a number of reasons. Being a first time car buyer I had little knowledge about what was needed in order to purchase a vehicle. Steve walked me through every step explaining how things would work, opening up many options for me so I had a bunch of choices suited to my preferred budget. He wanted me to be comfortable as a buyer and he also asked me what I was comfortable with financially, which made me feel secure that I was getting a vehicle that I loved but also that i could afford payments on. I would definitely recommend this dealership and specifically Steve Sansone because he is very professional and cares about every customer that walks in the door. i felt that i never had 5 minutes with out dealer.he promised me that he would take my sound system out of my car all i had to do was just pick it up the next day.when i went back the next day to pick up my system he said that i had to pay to get it out.He also promised he would have my other key the next day and that also didnt happen i had to call and fight with the the deal on labor day which it today after 2 weeks i got the car i got the key.until this day i dont know what my car does and i dont have none of my original stuff from my old car. i was looking to buy another car in 6 months but i swaer i will never buy a car from sansone auto in my life i will tell all of my family and friends to never go there sorry. and dont ever see jim jones he is a crook and he will promise you things and never will do it for you crooks.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

got a quote from truecar.com for a new 2013 Mazda 3 from this dealer. The offer came from Alicia. Then spoke with an employee called Keisha at least 3 times over the phone. Told her CLEARLY I need standard options, manufacturer installed, no extras. She confirmed: the quote is firm plus there will be a NJ sales tax plus plate change ($150) and document fee ($379) for a liquid silver or dolphin grey color. The document fee is 'negotiable' but I would need to negotiate in person. Fine. Drove to the dealership, Keisha not there. A different guy assigned to me offered me dolphin grey, 'the only color for that price'. I saw him jumping the car, bc it has been on the lot for a while and the battery gave out. I asked if they could honor the liquid silver color commitment - no they wouldn't, because 'the msrp price would be $19,170 instead of $17,495 for dolphin great (really, $1,700 premium for a different color?)'. After the test drive, I said would like to pay and asked to give me the total price. The guy comes back to me with a price that is $3,600 more then Keisha's 3-times promised price and written quote. They stuffed the quote with bogus 'dealer-installed' options such as paint protection. I protested and said they need to honor the quote. The General Manager came, and asked me sarcastically if I wanted them to remove the dealer installed options. Total all-in price they gave me with taxes, bogus options and reversal of rebates was $19,780. Alicia's/ Keisha's quote was $16,185 (with $379 fee being 'negotiable'). What are these guys smoking? Do they really think that their buyers want the new car so much as to overpay $3,600+ to an unethical dealer, all because we drove 2o miles to the dealership. Do not buy from them. Walk away. This dealer is unethical, does not honor their prices, and stuff unsuspecting buyers with expensive and unnecessary dealer options. If you are reading this, dealer, I will describe my experience in every other online dealer review I can find. Today, to survive in business, you need to preserve and nourish your reputation, and you don't. You will not survive on recurring scam.

I went to Sansone Mazda to see what they offer on a new lease. I already had a lease with them that had 7 months left, and was really there to browse around. The salesman FRANK LAURENCE, came with a high offer at first. I advised him that I was not in a rush to lease a new car as I still had 7 months left on my lease and MADE IT CLEAR THAT I DONT WANT TO SPEND A DIME GETTiNG OUT OF MY LEASE. He came back and said the owner recognizes you (talking about Dean Sansone), funny as I never saw him in my life before. He then said I can get you out of your current lease and into a new Mazada 3, and we will make the remaining payments for you. I asked again does that mean I wont owe nothing on my old car? He said yes as long as you get another Mazda there wont be a problem. Thats when the samming began. Thye told me that they are sending the car right to Chase! I should have known this dealership is fishy as the 1st time I leased these people ilegally registered the car on my mothers name (WHO WAS NOT ON THE LEASE), they said "This is Jersey you can do whatever you want", I said ok as I had no prior knowledge of the law. After leasing the vehicle I get a bill from the bank. I call to see why I owe them money they say its because I terminated the lease early amd the car sold at auction for less than the car is worth. I CALL THE DEALERSHIP AND TALK TO Manager MARK, he tells me he will have to talk to Manager JOHN BELLAS and will call me back, 3 weeks go by no call back. I call and speak to JOHN BELLAS who claims he never heard from MARK. He says he will call me back. 2 Weeks go by and I am still waiting. I call Chase and tell them to send me a bill of sale from the auction. They tell me that DEAN SANSONE SOLD THE CAR. THE SAME PEOPLE WHO SAID THEY ARE SENDING THE CAR RIGHT BACK TO CHASE! I call Dean SANSONE AND THE NO ANSWER AFTER LEAVING 3 MESSAGES. I call again and the operator asks me for my name. I tell her Eddie, she says whats your last name. I say why dos it matter? SHE ADMITS " I MUST SCREEN DEANS CALLS! Its been 2 months and still no call back. Just do a Google search on DEAN SANSONE, There is a RIPPOFF REPORT, that makes it all clear. I purchased two cars from Sal within a week's time since we enjoyed our buying experience with Sal so much. Sal takes a no-pressure sales approach that is very hard to find with used car salesmen, which I consider to be a MAJOR plus! In addition, his professionalism and integrity led us back to buy a Honda one week after we bought a Subaru from this dealership. They offer a great range of prices and models for any budget, and even though we were buying on the lower end of the spectrum, Sal still treated us with great respect. Susan was also an amazingly efficient and friendly finance manager. It was a pleasure to work with both of them. Would definitely recommend!

Let's be honest, there's only one experience worse than getting a root canal, that's buying a car from any dealership! I've purchased three vehicles from Sansone, the most recent a 2013 Mazda 6 i Sport. My experience was very similar to another reviewer Stevenbrin, only difference is that I actually made a purchase from Sansone. Our salesman, Jim Jones was great! He was the first to greet us and was very pleasant throughout the whole experience, including the test drive and price negotiation. Mr Jones is experienced and knows the business. As previously stated, my experience was similar to reviewer Stevenbrin, whereas the "guaranteed" internet price quoted to us, turned out to be way off the mark, as the vehicle included "extras" that we were not looking for, but were already included in the sticker price. We made our next best offer for the vehicle, and after some back and forth with Mr Jones and his managers, we came to an agreement on a very reasonable price. The car was nicely prepped and after meeting with their wonderful financial expert Susan,we drove away the same day with a great deal!

Worst experience I have ever had was at Sansone Mazda and Eric, the "assistant manager" is by far the worst employee that Sansone Mazda ever employed. He is a liability to the company. His customer service skills are horrible and he is very unprofessional. Do not waste your time there, they rip you off and they speak to you like you are nothing. I informed all of my friends and family to stay away from that place. Hopefully this review will deter other from buying a car there.

I initially wrote the review below but the dealership has sincerely tried to correct what they say was a mistake. I e-mailed Mr. Salsido, the VP of the dealership about the incident and received a call from him within a day. He apologized and said he would look into it and have someone contact me about the pricing. The next day I heard from Alicia Alonso who was a pleasure to work with. Alicia apologized for the on-line error and gave me aggressive pricing including, without charge, the tire nitrogen and pinstriping and assuring me I do not have to purchase the other non-desired options. I liked the pricing and since they only had three cars left of what I wanted I gave them a refundable deposit over the phone and was going to the dealership three days later to buy the car. My wife and I then decided not to purchase the car after all and Alicia was great in refunding the deposit without any kind of hassle.When I decide to buy a car again and it is a Mazda I will definitely contact Sansone but would only work with Alicia in the internet division. In summary the experience did not start off well but I feel Mr. Salsido and Alicia were very professional in dealing with the incident which is why I changed my rating to good. If I did not have the initial experience with Dean I would probably have rated them a 5. If you are to consider purchasing a Mazda I would recommend contacting Alicia and Marisa in the internet division and work through them.Sansone gave me a firm price quote over the phone and by e-mail and then tried to charge me $3000+ more than what I was quoted after I got there. I received very aggressive pricing on-line from Buyer's Edge, which is run through TrueCar for a 2012 AWD CX-9 touring with moon roof and tailgate lift for $26,432 plus $349 doc fee, tax and registration. I then spoke with Marisa who followed up on my request and promised me the price is valid and the only fees I would pay are the $349 doc, tax and registration. That there are no other fees like window etching. She even looked the car up in her inventory to confirm and gave me an e-mail confirmation as well. I also had looked the car up on Sansone's website and it showed a MSRP of $36,702 not indicating any other options. Marisa told me that when I came in to ask for Dean, her manager, and he would write up the paperwork at that price. When I went in Dean gave me to a sales rep, Ken, who was very nice and showed me the car and took me on a test drive. He then gave me pricing that was about $13,000 more than what I was quoted. I showed him the pricing certificate and confirmation e-mail and he came back with the promised price plus over $3000 in required options including window etching, tire nitrogen, pinstriping and 3-year dent warranty. I then again reiterated my conversation with Marissa and the e-mail and he went to get John, not Dean. I explained the situation to John and he went to talk to his manager and then came back and would not honor their deal, saying they can not sell it at that price, pretty much pulling a combination of bait and switch and false advertising. Dean did not even give me the respect and courtesy to come over to speak with me. So I wasted three hours plus 45 minute driving time each way for them to try to rip me off. I do not recommend buying a car from Sansone.

I was referred to the Sansone Auto mall by a friend,Don,after losing my cars to Hurricane Sandy. Don had stated he had a very positive experience when he had purchased a new car previously at Sansone.After arriving at the dealership and meeting the General Manager Dean,who was very friendly and cordial, I was assigned to a salesman named Chris C. After explaining what I was looking for in a used car, Chris took me on a complete tour of the facility from sales to service. We then started the search for a car for my son and I. After checking the inventory and understanding what my son Ryan was looking for in a vehicle, Chris was able to locate a CX-7 for my son. After going over the car,its options and a test ride,my son decided this car was exactly what he was looking for. Now the tough part,the price.After a bit of give and take we were able to settle on a price. Now the tough part, findig a car for me. After searching thru the inventory, I decided on a Jeep Compass. After doing the paperwork with Susan Viegas, who was tremendous, my wife voiced her opinion and well I'm not driving a Compass. After explaining to Dean and Chris on what had occurred the search was back on. Dean never hesitated, he said it was important that my wife and I was happy with our choice on a car. I then selected a mazda5, it handled the road great and had all the options I needed. After taking the car home I realized there was one problem, I had told the saleaman I wanted an all wheel drive vehicle, this one was a two wheel drive. Thank God for there 48 hour return policy. I headed back to the auto mall the next day and to my surprise no hassles, just laughs and understanding. Finally I settled on a Nissan Murano. Poor Susan Viegas, she had gone thru the paperwork process three times and always with a smile and a kind word. My sons car needed alittle work done and Chris helped set up the appointment. I believe my son dealt with a service manager named John who was very helpful. I would definitely recommend Sansone Auto Mall. Dont believe all the negative reviews, go and form your own opinion.

Rich is a great sales person. I just got into a car accident and im a student so i needed a car right away. As soon as i visited the mazda dealer i knew i wanted a Mazda 3 but I was concerned about the safety of the car. Worst car buying experience ever. Salesman tried to make us pay for things supposedly already installed like nitrogen in the tires that we didn't want. We were forced to take delivery of the car before navigation system we wanted was installed on the promise that dealer would call us within two days to install. Sansone needed to have us take the car off the lot to get the car off their credit line and stop paying interest on it. Far more interested in themselves than their customers. Two weeks later we were still waiting for the phone call. Finally got system installed after two visits and many phone calls/e-mails to find out when we could have system installed. Once we took the car, they conveniently "forgot" to order the system we had already paid for at the time of purchase. (Service Department seems to be very good). Salesman lacked credibility. Still waiting almost one month later for the license plates to come in--ironic seems DMV is across the street from the dealership.

This must be the worst dealership ever. You call the 800 number and you are given the run around. They posted a price consumer reports and when you call, the receptionist does not even know whom to direct to. They need to learn customer service and speak over the phone. Not everyone has time to show up at the dealership. After arguing with the receptionist, she then has Mohamed on the phone; who does not even know that they themselves were offering a deal on consumer reports. He goes on to tell me when you can come in. I explain I have a price on consumer reports and he says he will call me back. No call back. Did not want my business I guess. Would not want to give these guys business anyways.

I must say that Walter was such a great salesman. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and very helpful. He made my visit to the dealership very comfortable and even took the time to introduce me to the service center staff - never had anyone else do that before! He is a good person at heart and that shows when he approaches his customers. The only reason why we did not end up buying our car there is because the manager and my fiance could not agree on the price. Had that happened, we would have certainly purchased our car from Walter!

this is the worst dealership ive dealt with and experienced if you want the real reveiw check the better business bureue and call me at 917-691-6081 i purchased a ford flex used putting 8,000.00 as a down payment and was supposably financed through a bank called motors wich i find out is owned by mr, sansone himself upon purchasing this vehile i gave a punch list of three items the windshield had a crack in it the center cocsole lattch was broken and upon reaching 60 mph the brakes if applied sharply would jump two lanes over making it a unsafe vehicle the finance guy gene who would call always for this or that but never and i mean not once did anyone ever call to ask about the brakes i paid with my debit cards and if you have a debit card you know your name is clearly on the card and since they had taken a copy of my license why would i always be asked for numerous copies of id this had made me feel like i was doing something wrong when im giving you 8,000.00 down well finally the vehicle was given back to this dealership because i switched jobs and was told they can not do the financing wich was a god send the messiah himself stepped in and helped me start the process of correcting one of the biggest mistakes a person could make in their life by dealing with this company in my brief experience with this company i had the pleasure of meeting four managers in the same show room on the same floor of route 1 mazda i dealt with them for around one month three weeks this dealership makes you fell less than and states you can only receive your deposits back the same way you give them even know if you give cash they have to give check back i have still not received any moneys back nor do my banks show my money as pending when i explained this to the better business burue and explained to them i have taped conversations of their employees saying they never said this when past tapes have them saying this and a manager stating he will say anything and everything he has to say to get someone on the phone i found out is against the law so GO TO HIS SONS DELAERSHIP ON ROUTE 66 DO NOT GO TO ROUTE 1 THIS IS THE PONZIE SCHEMES OF DEALERSHIPS and hope it is exposed for what it is the one light at this dealership is a man named jeff so before you go call me call the better business bureue they are not the only dealership that cn help people with less than perfect credit get you a loan i returned my car a week ago and have a car already from another dealer and done with plates WAS TOLD BY HIS OWN SONS DEALERSHIP HIM AND HIS FATHER DO NOT TALK AND HAVE SPLIT UP BECAUSE OF THE UNDERHANDED PRACTICES OF THIS DEALERSHIP now im not claiming to be the best customer but in my view the ratings from other people on this site are problably employess of this dealership my number is their im a real x customer of this place save yourself the stress and aggravation go see his son at route 66 sansonejr and do not deal with gene the fi nance guy at route 1 mazda new and used he will say on thing on monday and another on wednsday .

Everything was excellent with the new cx9 . Sam, the salesman should be commended for his no bs approach to selling cars. He gave me the best deal, had the car waiting for me when I got there, and helped me install my own roof rails. I couldnt be more pleased with the whole transaction and will happily recommend Sansone, and Sam, to my friends and family. I drove from Brooklyn to To New Jersey to do the deal with Sam. The dealers in Brooklyn and Queens didn't seem interested in their customers and always had some kind of "hidden" motive to sell you what they wanted and at their inflated prices. Sam from Sansone gave a a great deal over the phone and when I got to the dealership, that was exactly the deal I got.

Went to Sansone to buy a certified pre-owned vehicle. They wanted $1850 to certify the vehicle. It was already 'inspected' and had the credentials to 'pass inspection' but I couldn't have the vehicle 'officially certified' without paying almost $2000. They charged $350 documentation fee and when I asked the salesman if there were any other fees that I would be charged he said 'no'. When I went to sign the paperwork for financing, the finance manager tacked on another $300 for window etching. I was really annoyed. It was explained to me that the windows were already etched and I had to pay for the etching. But if the windows were already etched, and the car was pre-owned, didn't the original owner pay for etching?! It was THEN explained that etching is a service that you must 'activate' and that when the car is turned in, the etching is 'de-activated' and now that I am purchasing the vehicle, I have to pay to 're-activate' the etching 'service'.So I bit it and payed the $300. I went through a few more things with the finance manager and then I had to wait to get the keys. When I finally got to drive it off the lot I forgot about the etching stuff. A few days later I was looking at something on the car and I checked the windows - wouldn't you know it, there are NO VIN NUMBERS ETCHED INTO ANY OF THE WINDOWS ON THE VEHICLE. All the extra fees are total crap. I would be more accepting of a fee if they just lumped it all together and called it a 'Dealership Fee'. At least it would be honest. Shame on the staff at Sansone and all the dealerships that pull this kind of scam. I will never purchase a vehicle from Sansone again and neither should you.

A few days after buying my CX-9 I had to head back to Sansone Route 1 Mazda to, among other things, have an additional key cut / programmed. While I had a great car buying experience at Sansone's Route 1 Mazda just days before, for some reason I was bracing myself to be disappointed with the service/auto body center. Wow was I wrong. Fernando, the service manager I dealt with, was awesome. He quickly took care of me and more importantly, my car. If all of my service / auto body experiences at Sansone's Route 1 Mazda end up being as great as the experience that I had dealing with Fernando, I will gladly drive down from NYC to have my car serviced there.

I began my search for a Mazda 3 at Sansone with Robert as my salesperson. He was very positive that he would be able to find the car and price that was right for me. I chose to visit three other dealer's only to come right back to Sansone.Robert had called me throughout my shopping process to see how my progress with finding the right car was going. I soon learned that Sansone offered the best pricing and car with the features that were important to me. The Sales Manager and Finance Manager were also extremely helpful in the buying process. The group worked as a team and in the end I purchased the car that I wanted at the price I could afford. I cannot express my gratefulness enough to the entire Sansone team for helping me with the purchase of my daughter's 18th Birthday and Graduation gift!

I am a first time car owner and when I started looking around for cars I had no idea what I wanted. I went from dealer to dealer and ended up at Sansone Auto Mall. I took a look at the mazdas and fell in love. When I went into the showroom I was expecting to be bombarded but the atmosphere was calm and relaxed and suited for the customer. I was able to take a look and 3 cars without being interupted by pushy salesmen. And when I was ready for assistance they were eager to help. The salesman I worked with, Eric, was very nice and was a tremendous help. When we started talking PRICE I was suprised at HOW GREAT THE PRICES WERE. I called Sansones because i knew they had a large selection of brands. when I called I spoke to a gentleman name Sam Z after being bounced around a little. But well worth it. After about a 5 minute phone call I felt Sam was an honest person to deal with. He didnt come across as the usual SLEEZY SALESMAN. Once i got to Sansone he put me in the right car at the right price and all in a timely manner. I hate buying a car. its the most stressful experience ever. Exccept for this time. Sam was absolutely amazing and I actually enjoyed my time there. The guys are all funny and friendly. Looking forward to the next time once my 3 yr lease is up on my Mazda 6. THANKS GUYS....

I've been buying my cars from them for a few years. They give top $ for my trade and stand by their products. I bought a 2011 Mazda CX-7(black) and the next day, saw some small scratches on the body. I took it back the following day. I thought they would give me a hard time, but instead, offered me a new one in silver, with extra features for the same price. No problems!! Although I did not purchase I vehicle, which I plan on doing within the next three months, when I do it will most definitely be from Mohamed. I've gone to a lot of dealerships in my search for a vehicle and none of the salesman were as informative or as genuine as Mohamed. My wife and I had spend an entire sat looking at cars and nothing fit our price range. Our last stop of the day was Sansone Mazda, the first person we met was Taric the manager, he and answered some questions about the Mazda Speed 3, we thought it was out of our price range. my wife and I checked out this car on edmounds.com prior to looking at it so we already knew what the true market value was. without even having to go through the arduous task of trying to get the price down our sales man Shadi Saadeh was right on the money as far as what we had in our hands, one hour later we were the proud owner on a new car. Once we left the dealer i noticed a bump bump noise coming from the front right side of the car, i got on the phone and called Shadi, he told me to bring it in the next morning to have it checked, they found a large screw in my tire, to my surprise they changed both the tire and rim at no charge. before I left that day the sun was shining on the windshield and i noticed a scratch from the wipers, i tried to rub it off but it was in the glass, again I showed it to Shadi and told me to comeback the next day to have the windshield replaced. this has been the best experience i have ever had with a dealer in the 20 cars i have bought in the past. We were looking around outside and after a few minutes, Shadi came out to greet us. He was very friendly and was not pushy....which is what we like....after he explained a few features on the car, he left us alone to browse some more. He told us that he would be inside if we need any more information. We eventually went inside to speak to Shadi and he was very helpful. He answered all our questions, from the purchase price to the trade-in deal to the warranty on the new car. I would absolutely recommend Shadi to contact if I knew someone in the market for a new or used car. Shadi in particular came out to meet me whilst i was mulling over some of the cars. His knowledge on the cars was excellent and his opinions very honest. The website had a printable certifacate for $2000 off any car over $7500,there were some stipulations to the deal. My first problem I had was the sales manager saw the coupon and knew the car I wanted to see was an internet special so the coupon wouldn't apply to that car. My next problem was after I wasted my time with a test drive and making an offer they were asking $14491. I made an offer of $12000 with the coupon and they came back with the price of #17300. They were charging almost $1000 in dealer prep and $300 for window etching. The windows are already etched so they try and force you to pay for it. I was so annoyed I will never go back to Sansone Auto Group.

I am furious with the experience I just had with this dealership. What prompted me to write this note is the new gashes and dealer badge glue I noticed on my car when I finally brought it home "finished" (after being purchased three weeks ago) this afternoon. Coming from a family of car enthusiasts, Sansone has the least organized sales department I have ever seen. Everyone is very nice (as they are in the sales department - more on them later), but inefficient, unknowledgeable and all together unsatisfactory. A common theme with this dealer is laziness. No one is willing to get anything done if it means they have to look something up. Calls weren't returned. I was not given an owner's manual until three weeks after my purchase. I was even told to go to another dealer to get one more option put on the car. This was after I said I was willing to pay the $300 in labor to install the $300 iPod adaptor. Instead I will give another company my business, as I likely will for the foreseeable future. It's a shame because my new Mazda 6 is wonderful.

I walked in and looked around and within 10 minutes was finally approached. I told Sal (sales man) that I was interested in leasing a mazda 3. I told Sal what my options were and once I told him that I was getting price information he then proceeded to talk to his sales manager (Max Perez). Once he came over I know that this conversation would turn bad. He told me about the sale that they were having that I was not informed of and then pressured me into signing something that I felt forced into doing. Luckily I know how to control myself and did not sign anything. Now, the thing that really got me aggravated was that he told me that he had to sell 27 cars by 9pm of august 31, 2010. As he said that I wanted to leave. All these guys care about is making their numbers first before satisfying the customer. They CRAPPY sales people and VERY unprofessional. I WOULD ADVISE YOU NOT TO WASTE YOUR TIME GOING TO THIS STUPID DEALERSHIP. Now since they treated me this way I AM GOING BACK TO HONDA. Sansone Mazda I hope guys go out of business because you guys are very unprofessional!.

After research, I decided I wanted a 2010 Mazda3. The Mazda website said that this dealer had the Mazda3 in the color I wanted, which was hard to find. I went to the dealership and after passing guys that worked there on the way in, I wandered around inside for 15 minutes till I was asked by the person I passed on the way in if I needed help. I said I was interested in the Mazda3 in celestial blue. He said he had never seen it in that color, but would check. He came back and said no, there is no such car in stock. He walked me outside to show me a car in a different color. I asked about iPod connectivity on the walk. He said he did not know. He got in the car while I stood outside and pointed out the audio in jack. I could not see it from where I was and wondered why he was in the car and not me. I had to ask to sit in the car. I did not want an audio jack, I wanted an iPod connector controlled by the head unit. He did not know. He did not offer a test drive. I did not request one, because at this point I knew this was not the place for me. He said he would bring in his iPod and test it the next day and call me. He did not. 2 weeks later, he called asking if I was still in the market and could he do anything else. Little did he know that I was already the proud owner of the exact car I wanted from an awesome dealer, Ramsey Mazda.

Of course, this week comes along and he tells me "his owner" decided they didn't want any more inventory. Never called, no apology, nothing. So if he tells you something, don't believe it till you see it.

I inquire online about Mazda 3 from them and received a quoted price. I have responded to them with the detailed specification for the car I want and ask specifically if they have it. The answer was absolutely we have this car for this price. Before going for the test drive I called to make sure that we are talking about the same car for the quoted price. The answer YES, absolutely. I printed the email as a proof, arrived to the dealership. Extremely surprised manager said I never quoted this. After I showed the email from them he said well I cannot sell you that car for this price. What a bunch of liars.

I went there to look at a 2006 Sonata they had advertised online. When my girlfriend and I drove in, we were greated by Mr. Polanco. We asked about the Sonata to which he replied that it was already sold (mind you, with over 5000 cars in inventory he knows this off the back of his head), but he had a new Camry. He brought me over to see a few Sonatas that they had in the lot (not once did he try to sell me the Sonata, only the Camry). I asked him "Why should I buy a Camry" and he could only say that "It is nicer inside and I could give you a good deal on it". I asked him "What is a good deal?" and he replies "how much are you looking to spend per month?" At this point, my girlfriend asks could we have another sales person since his only intention was to sell us a Camry. He says sure, spits on the ground and walks away. We decided just to take our business elsewhere...
