I went there this morning and had a flat tired fixed. They put in a rope plug for $28.00. I have done that in the past in my back yard on previous cars. It is a temporary fix and illegal in some states. It should be illegal in New Jersey too, with our crappy roads. I have bought 3 Jeeps from Seaview and this will be my last one. Going to Pinebelt from now on. I can't believe Seaview Jeep takes the easy way out and does a rope plug on a $40,000 auto. They should have taken the time and done a radial patch. But it all about money for Seaview Jeep. They don't even deserve 1 star.According to the T.R.E.A.D. (Transportation Recall Enhancement, Accountability and Documentation) Act, instituted after the Firestone/Ford Explorer/rollover fiasco, it is now illegal in the US to plug a highway tire. It is"against industry practice" for tire shops to plug the tires with the external plugs. I GUESS SEAVIEW JEEP DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS SAFETY!

This is a bit unfair because the sales department was very good - Ralph(?) was very helpful and polite. The single star (it would be lower if possible) is for how incredibly bad the service department is. Brand new wrangler had check engine light on periodically since purchase. Brought it in and manager said it was a faulty knock sensor, but "they never go bad, so we'll just reset it and see if it fixes itself". Light came back on and brought it back (light was out by time it came time to drop off - said that they couldn't see the code so I had to bring it back when the light was on. Never mind that I couldn't control when it came on so they told me to stop in when the light came on, even without an appointment. Happened to be driving past the dealership when light came on so i pulled in - they gave me a hard time for coming in without an appointment but they eventually scanned the codes and said they couldn't get a "detailed read" of the code so they couldn't do anything about it. I asked for options and was given none.Went back again and they said its out of warranty so now I have to pay them $120 just to try to read the codes. Then I would have to pay for fixes since warranty expired. Other issues are normal - they lose your appointment reservations regularly and give you a hard time like its your fault. They do make reservations for normal (recall) work and then the work doesn't get done because they don't have the parts in stock - an additional visit.I have spent several hours in the waiting room there listening to them have these same discussions with people on the phone. The only reason this place stays in business is because sales is great but people are locked into going to their service department. One of the worst experiences ever!!!My recommendation is to buy your Jeep from here, skip the dealerships extended warranty (Max Care?) as it is worthless and get your factory service done ANYWHERE else. AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!Added - I noticed recently that their service department was removed from most other ratings websites - I wonder why???

Very pleasant experience dealing with Anton up front to work out the lease deal on a 2015 Jeep Wrangler. Dealt with Michael on-site to sign paperwork, insurance, et al. He made sure I knew everything about the vehicle prior to me leaving the dealership - he is clearly the Jeep Guru there. Kevin? who reviewed the lease and financing terms was brief, no-nonsense and to the point but when I inquired about a few numbers on the term sheet he seemed to soften up a bit. The dealership is about 45 minutes from my home so not necessarily convenient but I will return when the Jeep lease is up and deal with them again.

I leased a Jeep Grand Cherokee in 2011 and I was not satisfied after the deal was done. I felt pressured and we drove the car home without a orientation. It took a few weeks but we learned the car ourselves. I never got a call to thank us or in the three years we had the vehicle we never got a letter or post card for any service needed or oil change specials. Then of course the lease is coming up and everyone wants to be our friend again at that dealership. So crazy me goes back there and I asked for the same sales person to give him another shot. He showed us a new Grand Cherokee and gave me his best number for a repeat customer that wasn't happy the first time and the numbers were not great. I told him I need to discuss this with my wife and you can tell the blood rushed to his head because he wasn't closing the deal that evening. Very, Very uncomfortable feeling at Seaview Jeep. I will never return ever for anything. I will also tell as many people I know to stay far away. Too bad.

Bought a hard-top Jeep with a soft-top option at Sea View. My salesman, Ty, was amazing. I brought the Jeep in for installation of the soft-top, after purchase, and also received my first oil change. The service department was disorganized, unaccommodating and not customer-friendly. Upon picking up my newly-removed hardtop, we brought a vehicle just a bit too small to transport the part. This was because no one from service could supply dimensions before pick-up, despite multiple inquiries. Asking if I could leave the hardtop there until able to rent a vehicle, and return later in the day, I was met by very negative attitudes from several staff. Eventually, the shop manager agreed, but "couldn't guarantee it won't get broken." We were able to rent another vehicle, and remove the hardtop from their shop, within hours. Afterward, while I used the restroom before departing, the service manager was rude and confrontational, ordering us to remove our rented cargo van from the premises immediately. "We have other customers arriving in this area, you know." Two days after, my "Oil Change Soon" indicator came on, illustrating "5% OIL LIFE REMAINING". Upon first call, no one knew how to help me, and asked me to call back. The next day, someone explained that the tech forgot to reset the timer, and walked me through the factory default process.Recently, I called the service department to ask what the terms of my "lifetime service plan" that I purchased with the Jeep encompassed. I also wanted to know if that would carry over to another dealer, or specific to Sea View, where I purchased the plan. The Service Manager could not answer my questions, and advised me to call the dealer I wanted to use, and ask them the terms of the contract.Sea View Jeep's service department, especially customer service, is unproffessional, disorganized, lazy, ineffecient, and rude. I do not recommend anyone servicing their vehicle here.

I have had many experiences purchasing and leasing vehicles at The Jeep Store. They have always been extremely friendly and helpful. Assisting me with my last two vehicle purchases, one new and one used, was JT Booker. JT is a very experienced sales representative who really went out of his way to answer all of my questions and work out a terrific deal. Truth be known upon just telling him that I was looking for a used vehicle, he walked me right out to it. Within 30 minutes we had the trade in quote established and a final price on the Vehicle. The deal was to good to pass up and I purchased the vehicle. JT was great to work with and I look forward to having him help me with future vehicle purchases. Once we were done I went into the sales managers office to sign the paperwork. He was also very friendly and great to work with. I highly recommend visiting JT at The Jeep Store for your next vehicle purchase.

If I could give this place zero stars I would! Horrible place!! I needed a new or used car because my car had broken down and it was not worth the money to try and repair it so I tried to get a car here... BAD idea.. Walter I believe his name was tried to take advantage of the fact that I was desperately in need of a car. Pretty much only giving me a one option for a new car with payments I could never afford. I left that place and got a car somewhere else with better payments and nice understanding people!

My car was serviced the next day and I even got a call from Rich as soon as it was done (at other establishments I usually have to call myself to find out). I spent over 3 hours with Howard the week before Christmas, test drove a vehicle and he made an offer to me. However, due to the impending holidays and weather, I was not able to return to him until mid-January, but kept in touch with him via email telling him that I was still interested. When I met with him in mid-January, the entire deal was retracted. He said he threw away my paperwork because he thought I was going somewhere else. Then when I reminded him of the deal, he conveniently remembered certain details and said it was never a deal. I walked out. I called the manager the next day and explained the situation. Howard then called me back. Was nasty, unprofessional and told me he did not care if he had me or my friends, family or business colleagues business. I would never recommend this dealership and will never return there. They are dishonest, rude and untrustworthy. They will give you one deal and then when the papers come, everything changes based upon your credit score (i.e., like buying your old vehicle what does your credit score have to do with buying your vehicle??). They are horrible. DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP!!!

I have had numerous issues after purchasing a certified jeep wrangler in May and have been in service a handful of times in less than 6 months. They will keep on sucking $$ from you. My problem started with an ABS light for which they claimed there were 3 sensors that went bad at same time, then the ABS computer and now the hub also went bad. Take your car somewhere else. These people are thieves. They will keep on adding to your bill. STAY AWAY

Brought a car for scheduled service, the woman at the service reception was rude and obnoxious. Stike one.We were told that they could not honor the appointment. Strike two. I called the Owner, he would not return my call. He had the General Manager call me. Strike three.To add insult to injury, both the General Manager and the owner would not return my repeated calls.I bought two cars here in the past. Never again.I can't imagine how these people remain in business with such a poor attitude and outright insulting rudeness.

I contacted this dealership for service in July 2012 and the service manager asked for my contact information since the computer system was down. Needless to say, I'm still waiting. In order to give this dealership the benefit of the doubt, I contacted them again inquiring about purchasing a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I entered all the necessary information on the website and no call or follow up! This dealership is unhelpful and does not follow up with potential customers. I would recommend World Jeep in Shrewbury before stepping foot on this lot!

Bought a ram 1500 march 2012. Driven 6,400 miles so far and love the truck. Great handling in snow, didn't even need the four wheel drive. Going in tomorrow for my second oil change. I brought my 2011 Grand Cherokee for a 'check engine' light and transmission issue. The service agent said they would not be able to look at it for two days, but I left the car anyway. On the second day I got a call saying they would not be able to get to my car for two weeks, at which point I picked up the car and drove it to Shrewsbury Jeep where they diagnosed and fixed the problem (a transmission software update) in the time it took my wife and I to have lunch. Sea View was 'nice,' but I NEVER heard of a dealer turning away a customer, especially when the service is covered under the warranty. I'm glad we didn't buy at Sea View (rude salesman), and I'm certainly never brining any car there ever again.

After a bad experience at Freehold Jeep we went to Seaview Jeep. Upon entering the showroom Tyler the sales manager greeted us and sat us down at his desk. With in 10 minutes he answered all of our questions and addressed our concerns. Kevin, the general sales manager was able to beat Freehold Jeeps interest rate and payment. Everyone at this dealership is professional. They treat you with the utmost of respect and they value your time. We were in and out with in a couple hours with a brand new vehicle at the payment we wanted and a better rate. I recommend this dealer to anyone who wants to be treated with respect and get a good deal. We will be back to purchase again. Thanks guys!!!

This dealership is the only place to buy a new Jeep. They had quite a bit to choose from. Additionally, once I found the vehicle I wanted, there was no BS. I have always been treated kindly and have never had a problem with anyone there, and that is why I have been going to this dealership for such a long time. Bought a 2012 Jeep Liberty, called within first 48 hours to notify them there was a thumping noise on the front passenger side, which they said wasn't a big deal & would take care of it when I picked up my license plates. Long story short,after being in their shop for 20 days, they acknowledge there was a noise, but could not fix it. They made the determination, along with Chrysler engineers, that they are calling the noise "a characteristic trait" of the car because they drove 3 other vehicles on their lot and they made the same noise. What they call a "characteristic trait", I call a defect in the vehicle that they do NOT want to fix. We then test drove another 2012 Jeep Liberty at a different dealership ourselves, and it did NOT make the same thumping noise. I then contacted Consumer Affairs who have advised me to go through the Lemon Law. I do NOT recommend this dealership to anyone! On another note, while they had my car in their shop, they gave me a loaner car with an expired registration, which I found out by receiving a parking ticket at the mall, and an expired insurance card!!! What dealer allows this to happen?Again, I do NOT recommend this dealership!!!!!

BEWARE of their service department. I brought my sons 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee there on 12/26/11 because the car was having trouble holding the idle and the engine light was on. They told me they didn't know why I was having those problems but they said I needed a new transmition which would cost about $2500.00. I left paying their minimum charge of $109.00 and brought the car to a local mechanic. I found out the car really needed a govenor sensor and a new oil valve cap as the car was leaking oil and was 1 1/2 quarts low on oil. Jeep didn't even check the oil level for their 109.00 charge. I called and spoke to the Gm of the dealership and said he would look into it but just had a service manager call me who just stuck with their story and said they don't check things like oil level when you bring a car in with the engine light on. I think I was ripped off for the 109.00 as they obviously just tried to get me to pay for unneeded expensive repairs and did nothing to solve the real issues with the car. I would never trust these people again! BEWARE.

The dealer could not diagnose the problem with my car so return visits are required. I personally showed the service manager the issue and what the cause was and how to fix it. The dealer has no regards for a customer's time!Dealer stated a front end alignment cannot be done because the car is too new and I will have to wait for 6 months or more until software at their front end alignment shop they use is updated.My rims were damaged while in the care of the dealership and they want to refinish them. Problem is, the car is less than 30 days old so the responsible thing for the dealership to do is the replace the rims and deal with their insurance. Refinishing the rims by a 3rd party will void the warranty from Dodge for any future problems.I was talked to by the dealership GM as if I were a con artist and liar when I spoke with him concerning the damage to my wheels. The GM would not budge and acted like he was doing me a favor by refinishing them for free since the damage may have happened while I was in possession of the car and not at the dealer.Chrysler has been notified and a complaint made about this dealership. The dealership GM could have handled things better instead of him and the service manager deflecting me by talking to other customers while they were supposed to focus on my situation. I even asked to speak to a principal of the dealership and he said they will not speak with you and you will just get referred back to the GM. How sad that a principal of a multi million dollar dealership refuses to talk to their customers.Issues that are outstanding on my brand new less than 30 day old $47k car.1. Steering wheel off center and car needs an alignment (that dealer says cannot be done)2. Passive Entry still not working on driver's side of car (driver door handle defective)3. 3 wheels are damaged while in dealer care.With all this, the dealer expects me to bring the car in and waste another 1 or 2 days for them to try and fix my door handle, refinish the rims using some 3rd party all the while do nothing about the alignment.It is a shame this is happening since being a Chrysler owner most of my driving life and then leaving in 2008 due to the bailout and possibility of Chrysler going out of business, I decided to give them a try because of their supposed renewed customer service ideology and new ownership by FIAT. I hope Chrysler does help me with this situation because this is a franchisee of theirs who acts on their behalf selling/servicing the vehicles and being the face of Chrysler to the customer.
