I had to write a review because I've found that there are still honest businesses in the world. At Seasell Auto I not only purchased top of the line vehicles, I also had hassle free buying experiences. I say experiences because I have purchased two vehicles from this dealership. I must admit initially I was skeptical. I called the dealership and spoke with Jimmy expressing my interest in the vehicle. I then completed the loan paperwork online. Shortly thereafter, I received a call back letting me know that the loan had been approved, and was given the numbers. That weekend my husband and I drove 3 1/2 hours to the dealership. Once at the dealership I was given the keys and told that I could take the car for a pre-purchase inspection. The vehicle checked out fine. Needless to say I left the dealership with my vehicle within the hour. I kept this vehicle for a little over a year, then decided that I wanted something else. I reviewed the inventory and found my next vehicle. I then contacted Jimmy and inquired about trading my vehicle. I was shocked because he agreed to give me the maximum trade-in value. I then paid that vehicle off, and purchased the next. I received all of the service records and received an excellent finance rate. Once at home I took this vehicle to the Audi dealership to have it serviced. This vehicle too had absolutely no problems at all!! I trust the guys at Seasell, I would definitely be back, my daughter is getting ready for college.

IThis place is hands down the best car dealership in wilmington. Such a nice and friendly staff and not to even mention how nice their cars are on the lot! I wouldn't recommend anyone to go anywhere else! I mean look at these reveiws!!!! All 5 stars!

Thanks Jimmy & the entire SeaSell crew! Hands down the best Dealership in the Eastern Carolina's! Don't waste your time getting the run around from anyone else in North or South Carolina when you'll get the best service available from Jimmy & all the boys at SeaSell! They treat you with the respect you deserve and are straight forward with you on all aspects of your buying experience! Just purchased my 2nd vehicle in 4 months from Jimmy & when I have an itch that needs scratching again, I know the drill, call Jimmy, tell him what I want & I'll have it! I can't say enough good about SeaSell & the experience I have had in my dealings with them, so I will leave this review at that.

We visited several used car lots in Wilmington this weekend, and found Sea Sell to be head and shoulders above the rest! The quality of their cars and their service is top notch! Jimmy and Steve are knowledgeable, professional and genuine. They matched us with superb lending options. I highly recommend Sea Sell and we will definitely shop there again for future car needs.

I'm sure there are those who will doubt the legitimacy of a 5 star review for a car dealership, as I did when I read them. Let me say up front that I have no affiliation with the dealership or with the financing company. I had been looking for a Nissan Murano for 6-8 months, but with some very specific criteria. The day before going to SeaSell, I had been to 3 other dealerships not in the immediate area but within 100 miles. I shouldn't have wasted my time going anyplace else. I walked out of one dealership after being subjected to serious high pressure tactics (and this after I warned the salesperson TWICE that I wasn't going to tolerate that....). The next dealership had a car I thought I would like and the salesperson was much less pushy. Unfortunately, the car wasn't equipped as advertised. I went to SeaSell having thoroughly done my research on what my car's trade in value was, and how much I was willing to pay for the Murano. I also had my financing in place. But after the previous's days woes at car dealerships, I was feeling a bit hostile when we finally went to SeaSell. From the moment I walked onto the lot, SeaSell was different. I had called prior to coming to make sure the car was still available. They had pulled it out and turned it on so the AC was running and the car was cool. Within 5 minutes of getting there, Jimmy handed me the keys to test drive it. He didn't accompany us on the test drive. Most places want your license, phone number and a DNA sample before letting you drive a car....not so at SeaSell. Jimmy couldn't have been any less pushy if he tried....I felt like I was talking to a friend. Drove the car, loved it and wanted it. I figured the next step (negotiating) would be when the baloney would start. Not so at all.....I laid out my numbers, and Jimmy pulled out his cost sheet on the Murano. We compared notes, made a couple of simple adjustments, and the entire negotiating process was done in about a minute and a half. Dealing with the person who has the authority to make the decisions makes life MUCH easier. And at SeaSell, everyone can make the decisions. We went to lunch and took the Murano while Jimmy did the financing paperwork. Went back an hour later, signed the paperwork and were on our way with absolutely no stress or concern at all. I don't anticipate ever getting rid of the Murano, but if it were to happen that I decided to, I won't go anywhere else at all ever again. if I were to move from North Carolina, I'd likely fly/drive back here to do business with Jimmy and SeaSell. I also contacted my bank, USAA, to suggest that they consider adding SeaSell to their list of approved dealers. Thank you to Jimmy and to SeaSell.

Did not even negotiate. Fair price for nicest car I looked at. Several were thousands higher and not near as nice. Drove 3 hours not expecting much because my shopping was discouraging. I was amazed by how every vehicle was in the same condition. Nicest selection out there. Period! Jimmy, thanks for being honest and making me want to come up there and look at this car. I was skeptical at first but you were very reassuring. Thanks, I would probably still be looking.

Thank you to everyone at Seasell! This is not your typical big dealer where you get thrown around person to person. Very casual, very understanding. I felt like I knew these guys for years. Comfort level was there. I came highly recommended from a family friend and am telling people just to go see their facilities and meet all the guys there. We went to several places here in town and no place compares to them. Awesome, Awesome, Awesome.

I never thought I would actually enjoy purchasing a used vehicle. All of my past experiences involved pushy salesmen, inflated prices, and vehicles that always made me feel like i was inheriting someone else's problem. Jimmy, Brett, and John went above and beyond to help me find a vehicle that was best fitted for my needs. I recommend them to anyone I know looking for a used vehicle, and will certainly purchase from them again in the future.

Just looking for a car. This place was hard to find, and when I did, not only did it not "look" like a car dealer, but it was very "un-inviting", so I didn't feel comfortable going inside. I kinda walked around outside a bit, but people there working never acknowledged me. I called, and no one answered, again, just making me feel uneasy. Someone did call back later that afternoon gettng my number from caller ID. Something just didn't seem right about this place. Don't think I could ever go back.

We drove almost 2 hours to get here , it was well worth the drive . We had no intentions on purchasing , then we walked out with an 08 gmc Acadia . we love the vehicle , the customer service was great . Jimmy was great to work with ver understand with our needs and budget. he made buying a very comfortable decision. NO PRESSURE. Thank you !! The Most military friendly dealership i have found .

I was shopping for a white Range Rover Sport and found several but previous reviews and price attracted me to Seasell. I bought from them and had to car towed to me (over 400 miles away). I was impressed with everything!!!

Thanks Jimmy. You all were so great and I am so happy with my Lexus. I was hesitant at first to make a 3 hr trip, but you all took such great pictures and I felt comfortable with how you all described the vehicle. I had never heard of Seasell before stumbling upon several of their vehicles online. They take the highest quality photos out there and show/tell you how it is. They have a large warehouse with all cars inside. :)(We came on a rainy day) Jimmy and John are top notch gentlemen who treated us with the utmost respect. The car we came in on was as advertised. Without a doubt the best car buying experience we have ever had. No badgering or pestering, just very helpful and knowledgeable. See for yourself. A+++ Dealer. They are the complete opposite of your typical Market St dealer.
