Pros: I was able to negotiate a fair price on the vehicle. Communication was good. Everything was fairly straightforward and there weren't any gimmicks. Cons: I was told the car would be detailed before pick up but I'm not sure that happened. There was hair and dust everywhere in not hard to reach places. I will have to get the vehicle detailed myself. The vehicle was sold "As-is" so I can't blame them that the A/C only works for a few minutes and then blows warm air which I wasn't aware of before purchase. Make sure you understand this may happen when purchasing "as-is". You get what you pay for.

I bought a unique car imported from Japan sight-unseen from another state. Scott was fantastic throughout the whole process and helped me feel comfortable doing everything remotely. Selden Motors offers a total experience from assistance with selection to the drive off of the lot. They maintain a Top-Of-The-Line inventory and demonstrate the Know-How to support the sale. The lot is small and cluttered, but this provides evidence of a revolving inventory of quality vehicles. I purchased a BMW that had better quality than those on BMW Dealership lots across the country. What to feel welcomed? Then go to this Dealer, got a steal on my 04 CL55 with only 50k miles. If I were to consider buying another car I would deff come here. Also go in and take a look for yourself and when you do ask for Scott, he's the man

Six months ago I bought a 2003 Porsche 911 from Scott and Alex. The car runs and looks great and it was competitively priced. Alex and Scott are very low pressure sales guys and made the whole buying process very enjoyable. I would definitely buy from Selden Motors again.

I have purchased three cars from Selden Motors over the past several years (an M3, an X5, and most recently a Cayenne) and i would recommend them to anyone looking for a high end pre-owned automobile. These guys really know what they are doing---their inventory is always great and they are super knowledgable about the cars they sell. They aren't pushy when it comes to selling and they handle everything from financing to warranties to trade-ins. Both Alex and Scott are easy to work with and i will most definitely continue to buy from them in the future.

Knew of them and have seen other cars they were selling. Used to work in the business so I know each car at a used dealership is a case by case basis. Picked up a nice Porsche at a fair price. Car checked out ok and has been a good daily driver. All cars even new cars are case by case but overall the quality of the cars is decent. Wish they had a slight larger location/lot.

I bought a Mazda from Selden Motors a few weeks ago and a day after I drove the car off the lot it had a check engine light. The car was misfiring and ended up needing engine work. After doing some research I found out that the dealer who had the car before Selden Motors diagnosed the car stating it needed a new engine. I tried being nice and asking if there is anything they can do, they said to bring the car to them and they will see if they can determine if anything is wrong. They asked on the phone if I purchased their 200$ limited powertrain warranty for 90 days, I said no I didn't purchase this warranty because you never told me about it! As of now the car is in a trusted shop being fixed, it will cost me about $4,000. I emailed Selden Motors saying it indeed had engine issues and is currently being fixed and I asked if they could help me out at all. I never got a response back, what a surprise. Save your money and take it to a real dealership.

I bought an '06 CTS-V from them about a month and a half ago. The buying experience was great and I enjoyed how they weren't breathing down my back while I was looking at the car. The car was purchased "As-Is" from the dealer and 3 days after buying it my CEL came on and the car went into "limp mode". Turns out the gas pedal was bad (electric throttle). I contacted Scott and he helped rectify the problem quickly since it was not even a week that I had the car. Thanks Selden Motors!

First let me tell you about myself, I'm a 19 year old FEMALE , When I was purchasing the vehicle was awesome, Scott was really cooperative with me, I live the whole in York,PA which is about an 2 hour drive. When he needed information he would call me and if I didn't answer I would call him right back, but once I had my new car for a week the Engine light came on, now when I was calling Scott he didn't seem to concerned about this. I would call him and he said he would have to talk to his shop well he said he would call me back never called me back it took forever t get in touch with him, so finally he told me to clear my car so I did, and this final time the light came on same code coming up again, I called him took forever to get ahold of him and I finally got ahold of him and he said he would talk to his shop, terrible customer service I don't care if the car is sold as is , My check engine light came on ONE week after of having the car, that should never happen, and my code P0497 is no little fix, its a huge fix , that I shouldn't have to be worrying about right now. SO my suggestion to buyers when purchasing a vehicle here is to hook it up to the reader before buying it

Purchased my vehicle on Monday and so far so good. I will be back with a detailed review in 3 months. Car is clean, runs nice compared to what I traded and apparently very impressive given the looks I get when I'm at stop lights now. Oh, and my sisters screamed with glee when I first drove up beeping the horn, son jumped off the steps and ran with my sisters and apparently my nephew has lightening speed abilities because without me noticing until his mom said, "Look at this one!" but he had already slipped into the passenger seat waiting to be taken for a ride! Once I find out what this 1100 miles over scheduled maintenance notice is all about I'll have a final review to provide. What I can say regarding customer service is that even though I arrived after normal business hours they still spent an hour trying to help me make my purchase! LOVED THAT!

Nice clean, low mileage cars at very fair prices...so if you're looking for one of those "high end" autos -- mercedes, bmw, porsche, etc, without the highend price, this is the place to come...they've even got a few one owner cars...nice folks, negotiable on price, in and out quickly...they even picked me up at the train station since i was out of town...i would buy again from them.

I have now purchased my last two cars through Selden Motors and I have found them to be both very accommodating and extremely helpful when going through the purchasing process. Additionally and maybe most importantly the cars I have purchased through them (a Mercedes Benz E430 4matic and Land Rover LR3) have both held up long term by just following the recommended dealer maintenance schedules. Buying used cars can be a tricky proposition, that said I would feel very secure in recommending Selden Motors and by extension Alex and Scott as a great option when looking for high end used cars! I have led many of my friends to them as well and they have all had similar great interactions/purchases with Selden Motors. Go visit them and see for yourself...

Do not purchase a car from this dealer! Warning! Only way is to go see the car first before your purchase.. Because if your out of state and you ask them what kind of shape the car is in, they will tell you "its in great shape" then you buy it and its not even close to fair... Beware of this dealer and there tatics... You've been warned...

I purchased a BMW 330i from Selden Motors and couldn't be happier! As a woman purchasing a used car, I was nervous going in, but Scott made me feel comfortable through the whole process. What I liked about this place is that they let me look at the car on my own and then answered whatever questions I had. When I went to other dealerships, I felt like the salesmen hovered over me and were pressuring me to make a purchase. I honestly am thrilled with my new car and so far I have put over 1,000 miles on the car and have had no issues at all!

I visited to look at an Audi A6. I looked it over thoroughly and was expecting someone to come out and help me, but they never did. I guess it was too hot for them to come outside because they could see me through the window and I was out there for awhile. Had I been offered a test drive, I'm guessing it would have been hard for me to leave without buying that car.
