I will start off by saying WOW!!! Sims dealership on Elm road gets the job done!! It was the fastest service I’ve ever received buying a vehicle. Everyone was very friendly and professional. Dave Harries was great to work with and when I go to purchase some accessories for my new 2021 Buick Envision, I will be more than satisfied to reach out to Steve Davis! They made what I thought would be a long process, short and sweet!! I’d highly recommend them!!!

UPDATED: so I went back today though i swore not to just to give a local dealership another chance. And yes, they blew it again. This time i brought the car for service. They were evasive and secretive all the way thru the discovery of the issue and never gave me a clear picture of issue or cost estimate. Then they got all funny making faces at me as I am out of mind to ask for an estimate, or Lord forbid, if I were to inquire as to what they found. Oh well, SIMS BUICK still gets a one star and am sure will be closing soon. I can almost guarantee it with that kind of indifference in their Service dept. If I could rate a "0" I would. Today was my fourth and LAST visit. My newly purchased Certified Buick Regal from SIMS Buick has been taken in for repair 4X in one month now since my unfortunate purchase. Got the run around each time and they were not willing to take the vehicle back since they were not successful (4X) in fixing the transmission (slipping gears and buckling) and the pronounced pull to the left. They even took my car for a 19 mile test drive today! I know, unheard of! But SIMS Buick did exactly that and kept my car in Service for a day and half. Their Service team swore up and down Buick transmissions do hunt for gears and "chuckle", what they called it. Well, no one is chuckling today. So, please avoid SIMS Buick. They threatened to call the cops when I was insisting on returning the lemon they sold me only three weeks ago. DO NOT TRUST THEM.

We never felt like we were being "sold" a car. Instead, the sales rep. found out what we wanted and then showed us vehicles that met our need. There was no hard negotiations or "let me talk to the manager" stuff. Instead, they told us the sticker price and the best price they could give us all at once. It turns out it was much better than edmonds web site suggested we get. First time I ever bought a new car without wondering if I got a good deal.

Worst customer service ever. Sales manager David Harries blew me off, sent me home and never once followed up with me on my loan and the vehicle I was interested in. Went to Midway Chevrolet in Orwell the next afternoon and left with a beautiful new 2018 Certified Equinox with 26k miles. Midway went out of their way to make me happy and put me in a better car.

Before our vacation trip this spring, I was able to make my appointment via the internet to have the Lucerne serviced. Service Department was very quick and efficient in confirming my appointment and sending me a confirmation via email. As usual, John Camanetti at Sims Buick was very nice to work with. He had me scheduled and in the waiting room in just a few minutes. The work on my car (maintenance, oil, tires, etc.) went smoothly. It was time for a check of the transmission and the condition of the filters and the mileage (101000+) required a transmission fluid change. it was an easy and convenient process. The guys really know their cars. I'm always happy to put my 2008 Lucerne (the last really nice Buick, by the way) in their hands. Our vacation trip went off as planned without a hitch. I always have the guys check my car before any extended trip. Thanks, John and the guys at the Sims service department.

The service manager, John Cameneti, was the heart and soul of my great experience with the service department. Even though the repairs and maintenance on my 2008 Lucerne were extensive and expensive, John made every effort to make my service time as easy and stress-free as possible. I have always appreciated his manner and customer relations style. He was on it from the beginning, working with me to give me the best possible experience. In the end, it was John's working on my behalf that made this service on my Lucerne, while an expensive affair, one that I can truly say, "Thanks, John, for being so very helpful and considerate." Also, the work on my car seems to have been accomplished efficiently and expertly by the mechanics. I have no complaints and the car runs and feels like new!

Eric Fisher was our salesperson. When he learned how unhappy I was with the first vehicle, he worked with me to get me all the things I wanted on a car. The first vehicle was an Encore and going from my 2012 Verano, I didn't like it at all. It was noisy, hard ride and didn't have the amenities I was used to. The second was the 2014 Verano and I am very satisfied.

I was on my way from Michigan to attend a funeral in Ohio (as a pall bearer) when I hit a pot hole that destroyed my tire. I changed my tire to the donut that comes with the car but needed a full sized replacement to nmake my trip back to Michigan. Paul Graham in the reason I rated the survey completely satisfied. He was wonderful and fulfilled his role in the transaction. Some part of the experience was not satisfying. I have leased for years and usually the lease turn in and car pick up are seamless. This time it was not. There was problems with locating the car we wanted etc. It was difficult for my husband and I to rearrange our schedules according to what other dealerships were willing to trade and when. I did not like that part of the transaction. Maybe in the future some of the behind the scenes things should be left "behind the scenes". Great job done in a timely manner. Only problem I have is being charged $9.80 for having new wiper blades installed. The wipers are $16 each but $9.80 is a bit much for installing new blades! Really, likie almost $5 bucks each for install, it took like 3 minutes. Oh well next time I will simply buy them at the parts counter and install them my self. Lesson learned!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We were shopping for a newer used vehicle when my husband came across one on the Sims Buick-GMC-Nissan website and inquired about it. Contacted by Greg Clear, we were cautiously optimistic that this was a salesperson we would be able to work with. When we traveled from PA to OH to the dealership, we immediately felt at ease with Greg. He has a relaxed, casual demeanor about him that made us feel like we did not have to have our guard up during the "process". Greg demonstrated he was very knowledgeable about the product and answered every one of our questions. He respected our space and allowed us to figure out what vehicle truly met our needs without trying to "sell" the vehicle he thought we should buy. We truly enjoyed our time spent with him - a marathon day (9 hours from start to finish) - and had a few laughs in the process. We have dealt with many dealerships over the years and would not hesitate to return to Sims and, specifically, to Greg Clear. We thank him for the wonderful service he provided to us in our car-buying experience and for his service he provided to our Country as a US Marine!

My headlights went out while on the way home from the funeral home and everyone was flashing their lights at me. When I realized why, I turned on my brights and was flashed again. Sims got me back on the road the next day within an hour!! Thanks for a good job they work like new now.

First off John at the service desk was a very professional man I appreciate him for making. Me feel like i was at home he showed me to the coffee and beverages and the waiting room. The tech that did the service on my truck was great checking and looking over everything he was supposed to do did an excellent job. This is my 2nd car I purchased from Sims and the 2nd car I purchased from Jerry (I purchased a car from him in 1990 when he was employed at another dealership). I called him and told him what car I was interested in and he called me back with the price. He had the car ready to be test driven by the time I got to Sims. A short while later, the car was mine. I had been concerned about the miles adding up on my leased 2011 fully loaded Enclave, and I still had 12 months to go! My car is our family car, and I drive alot! I got in touch with Dave Hall at Sims, and he was able to put me into a 2013 Acadia with several "bells and whistles". The only thing I "gave up" was my leather seats and fancy chrome wheels. But the BEST thing is , he was able to save me $100 a month on my payment! We decide to drive three hours to look at a car that I saw on your website for our daughter. We required that a few questions about the car be answered first. In contacting the dealership, Greg was the person who got stuck with me. He listened to my long story about what I wanted the vehicle to be and he then went to physically look at the vehicle while he was on the phone with me. He ensured me it was the quality I was looking for. At no point was Greg ever pushy or overbearing. He listened and answered my questions politely. After talking to Greg on the phone, I decided to go see the car. In meeting Greg in person, he was just as straightforward as he was on the phone. He took us to the car and let us check it all over. He even helped us look for any flaws that may have influenced our decision to buy the car. After a thorough review of the vehicle, which included a call to the previous owner, we decided to buy the car. At no time did we ever feel that we were being pushed to buy and were left to decide about the purchase without the usual pushiness of the dealership. It was a very stress free transaction. Greg worked to ensure we got the car we wanted and made sure we were happy. Thanks Greg for making car buying pleasant.

Initially, things seemed really positive, but they quickly went downhill from that point. We exchanged voicemails the first day after I had written to them about truck I was interested in, and it wasn't long until I go through to gunny. A nickname for one of their salesman. He seemed nice, and knowledgeable about the vehicle, and took some info from me, said he would contact me back shortly with some pics of the vehicle, and more info. I received no replies, so I called the next day and left a message. I heard nothing back for several day, until I received an email from gunny about how he was trying hard to get in touch, and wanted to know if I was still interested. I contacted him, at which point he apologized, saying that truck was sold shortly after our conversation, and that he hadn't tried to contact me at all, and apologized for the mistaken email. I was disappointed, because I was really interested in the truck. I have received more contacts from gunny since then, saying how hard he is trying to get in touch with me, and really needs to know if I am interested in truck or not. This is very irritating, and shows a complete loss of common sense on their part. If it is an automated system, it is a complete failure, and if it is not automated, it shows their salesman has a complete disconnect from reality.

Our salesman, Greg, was very good about getting back to me shortly after submitting for a quote online.We went in to look at vehicles and he did a great job of listening to us when we told him what we were looking for. He didn't try to sell us what we weren't looking for as other dealerships sometimes do. He explained options and packages and pricing and listened to our concerns. He understood our budget and fitted us with exactly what we needed and within a short time, we were driving our new car home. The finance department was wonderful, not pushy and even found extra bonus savings that I was not aware of. I walked out of that dealership with a car that fit my needs and my budget. My Wife and I Emailed the Dealership about trading in our Lexus for a Terrain.To my amazement I was contacted within 2 min of hitting the send button. Just purchased our second Nissan Maxima plus have leased two Altimas from Sims Nissan. First and foremost we love the cars. Second we really appreciated the manner in which the car buying/leasing process took place.
