Every time I go I always get greeted by the staff. Adam who has also been with the staff for years knows me by name and always makes sure I have excellent service. He's been there since I bought my car years ago. Acura Savannah is my go to for service. 100% recommend!

I found Southern Motors in an online search and sent an email for information. Salesman Brian Powers got in touch with me and was very friendly asking for the opportunity to earn my business. I decided to make the trip down from Charleston and am glad I did. Brian and the rest of the team were very friendly, surprisingly low pressure, answered my every question, and the result was a car and a deal both of which make me very happy. I am recommending to everyone I know in Charleston considering an Acura that the 2 hour drive to Southern Motors in Charleston to visit Brian is well worth their time.

DONT DO IT, don't even think about doing it. Save yourself the trouble of dealing with this dealership. They would not call me back during the buying process,and now that Ive bought Ive found that they lied about the condition of the vehicle and now they wont return my calls after ive sent them text and emails about the problems Im having with the vehicle. I take some responsibility as all of the signs were pointing telling me to walk away but they had exactly what I was looking for. Good luck to you if you decide to go with them as your dealer.

And if I could given them additional stars I would. This was the first car I brought in 17 years (still driving my 95 Acura Integra). I would start off and say I was a difficult customer but from their sales to GM, they guided me through the process, less anxious and actually enjoyable. Zak Craig, sales was GREAT! Zak kept me abreast of specials and incentives, until we found the one that fit for me. The day I purchased my MDX was the best. I received a phone call to come look at a vehicle, drove in, looked at it, and accepted. Finance "George" made going through the paperwork not only easy and quick....but enjoyable! As they were preparing for the last steps to give me the keys, their GM Mr. Jim Brenner came down to speak with us about our purchase, Savannah, whatever....it was like speaking with an old Friend.Southern Motors Acura is the place to go! If you want quality, top-notch staff, please go speak with them. Not sure when I'll buy my next one, but I will be going back to Southern Motors Acura of Savannah! Thanks Everyone for the Great Experience!

Let me begin with I LOVED THIS CAR!! 2015 Acura TLX V6 9 speed Untill....... My check transmission light came on for the third time with only 2000 miles on it (see photos) and each time i take it in to get checked out "the car is doing as it should" and "it is doing what it is designed to do" come on be real the car is BRAND SPANKING NEW "0" miles ZERO!!! And they test the car and find a issue? Why is the car giving the computer a sensor issue if the car is doing what is supposed to are you kidding me! The car is a lemon considered to the state of Georgia yet Southern motors Acura says it's a Acura issue and they make the call!! Really why would you sell a lemon trade my brand new car out! Or give me back my hard earned money! I would love to go check out Infinity and Lexus and or Cadillac out! And I highly recommend NOT GOING TO THIS DEALERSHIP BECAUSE THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY AND NOT EVEN ATTEMPT TO SWITCH OUT THE CAR FOR DO JOT SPEND A PENNY THERE!! ANGRY CUSTOMER

This dealership touts its customer service and I had a reasonably good experience with them overall. I purchased a used vehicle; I can't comment on how a new car purchase would be handled. To their credit, the staff treated me well as I evaluated cars, with none of the runarounds or time-wasting ploys found at other dealerships. However, when it came time to discuss pricing and fees some questionable sales strategies and curious mistakes came to light. Therefore, in the end I can only rate this an average experience. These folks sell cars like any other dealership, and that means you have to do your homework and watch their numbers carefully at each step of the transaction.

When I found Southern Motors Acura I had settled on an Acura but I had become exhausted and frustrated with the process of finding the right dealership to purchase through. I searched online for all of the Acura dealerships within 500 miles of my house and started calling. From the first phone call to Southern Motors they were helpful, friendly and extremely knowledgeable. I told them what I was looking for and not only did they find it for me but they gave me the best price of any other dealership on that particular car. In fact, it was such a good price that it made a road trip to their dealership well worth it. The car arrived within a couple of days and when I came to pick it up I was greeted with a warm, friendly welcome by everyone there. Jim, Michael, Mickey, Ross and George each took the time to walk me through the workings of the car and its navigation system, the paperwork which seemed so cumbersome at first and they made sure I had everything I could possibly need before sending me on my way. In my mind it's the small things that say the most and when I walked out of the showroom to take my new car home I found birthday balloons tied to my car; the nicest touch and something they certainly didn't have to do. I purchased my car a week ago and they have even reached out to me no less than 3 times since then to make sure everything is ok and I answer any questions I may have. I cannot thank everyone there enough for their hospitality, assistance and the wonderful deal they gave me on my beautiful new RDX.

My experience purchasing an Acura ILX Hybrid at Southern Motors Acura in May 2014 was outstanding. You won't find annoying, swarming "pitch men" at this dealership. To the contrary, you will find a sincere sales staff who knows how to give buyers their space while remaning available to answer each and every question. I can't tell you how refreshing it was to walk among the cars on the lot and in the showroom without being hounded. I was asked politely if I had questions about anything, and when I did, there was always someone nearby to answer them promptly and in just enough detail. My test driving experience was a good one, as Zak (sales) allowed me to simply drive the car. I didn't have to listen to an overzealous sales pitch, which was a relief. I also got to choose my own route - none of the usual "turn here, now turn here, now we'll head back to the lot." I was encouraged to take the car where I wanted so I could test the features that were important to me. When I mentioned that I was interested in testing some "competitor" vehicles, as well, Zak encouraged me to do that so I could compare them to the Acura. After thinking about my budget and the vehicles I'd seen, I expressed interest in purchasing a certified pre-owned Acura rather than a new model. Instead of hearing any arguments or counterpoints, my interest was met with a "let's do it" attitude. I identified the vehicle I wanted and the price I wanted to pay, and the "haggling" was practically nonexistent. I had specific reasons for naming my price point, so Jim - the General Manager - was absolutely willing to work with me. It took about five minutes to agree on very reasonable prices for both the Acura and my trade-in, which is unlike any car buying experience I've had before. It was a friendly conversation in which I never felt anyone was trying to cheat me or slip something by me.I had a few requests with regard to the vehicle I was purchasing, and each one was immediately granted with a smile and, "What else can we do for you?" I'd already agreed to buy the car, so this was - in my mind - just further evidence that these guys are just friendly folks who like keeping customers happy. While someone was doing my paperwork, Brian (sales) sat down with me to explain some of the vehicle's features. He offered to remain available by cell phone even after I left with the car so I could call from the road anytime if I wasn't sure how to use the navigation system, voice system, etc. Since the process isn't immediate and I'd asked for some special touches on the car, I needed a loaner to get to work and a doctor's appointment. I was offered the option of having a vehicle brought to me or just taking a car off the lot to go wherever I needed. The GM explained that this courtesty service would remain available throughout my time as an Acura owner. I can just drop my car off for an oil change (or other service, to include free detailing) and they'll give me a car to use for the day! They also offered to come to my home anytime to pick my car up for service - what more could anyone ask?When the paperwork was nearly complete and I was brought to George, the finance manager, to sign everything, I braced myself for the "up-sell." I saw the laminated advertisements on his desk for extended warranties, protection packages, cleaning supplies... you name it, they sell it. Well - it never happened. I never suffered the barrage of explanations about how I would be crazy not to buy this or that, or how I would save SO much over however many years.... Instead, I inquired about an extended warranty myself while George was busy printing paperwork, as I'd already decided I wanted one. I also asked about tire/wheel protection, since I live in a neighborhood with new construction and I'm terrified of getting a nail in my tire. George explained the options but never pressured me to purchase anything. I picked what I wanted as George patiently did the math to tell me how each option would affect my monthly payment. He was also terrifically patient while I picked through the fine print of each document... no eye rolling or finger drumming... just kind and friendly while I peppered him with pesky questions.I have to mention soemthing else that struck me about Southern Motors Acura, and that is the interesting way in which they apparently share their commissions. I'm not privy to the details, but I was careful each time I called or went in to try and speak only to the salesperson who helped me most recently. When that person was out with another customer, I felt terribly guilty about talking to someone else for fear of costing someone his commission. When I asked about that, everyone explained that they help each other with customers and "it all comes out in the wash." I really liked that, since I can honestly say I received a great deal of helpful service from each person I encountered (Vuk, Zak, Brian, Jim and George). I've found it difficult to get that kind of service at other dealerships, since only one salesperson has a vested interest in helping me. Whatever the system is at Southern Motors, it is certainly great for customers.At the end of the day, I give this dealership my highest recommendation. Whether you're looking for an Acura or for another used car they have on their lot, you won't be disappointed you visited this place. I've never felt any degree of loyalty to a dealership before - it's always been an impersonal transaction, at best - but I would return to this dealership for my next car simply because I was treated so well.

My overall experience was great. First and foremost, the staff were very friendly, professional and most of all knowledgeable about the product they were selling. I found the General Manager Jim Brenner, Finance Manager George Straight and Sales Consultant Brian Powers, friendly, considering the customers needs at all times.
