My mom and I where at this dealership on 10/25/2016. I can't state how great the customer service was. I dealt with Earl Nymeyer, who was not pushy or trying to get a sale. This person was very thorough and knew his products. He was willing to take the time to go over everything with me, and explain how each of the electronics work in the car. I went to this dealership and him about 3 times before I made a final decision on a 2016 Kia Optima. I had started my search of the summer of this year and did not made a final decision on a car until the week of 10/24/16. to 10/25/16 When I had the Kia optima on my final cut of list of cars that I was considering, my mom had made a call to this dealership and him to get a quote on how much the car would be a month. He had run the numbers and call us back and also e-mail me the information to me as well. Out of about 15-17 dealerships I went to I found this dealership and Earl to be the most outgoing, passionate about there jobs, and caring in which it did not seem to be fake by any means like other dealerships try to give you fake customer service when they are really just went to make a fast sale. Overall, anyone who is considering buying a new car you need to take a look at South-lake auto mall, these are great people and will go out of there way to make sure you are satisfied with your purchase.

Kia makes a great vehicle and I'd recommend it over any of their direct competitors, but buy it somewhere else! The staff here is horrible, I took a survey after I purchased my Optima, answered all the questions honestly and got a voicemail full of threats from their "sales specialist" Claude Abbott. When I called him back to try to fix the problem he suggested I head back to the dealership to fight him. This happened awhile ago and he's still employed with Southlake. This just shows how poor the management is at this location. I love my Kia and I think you will too, but buy it from real professionals who will treat you right

I walked in and said this is what I want and this is what I need. Without hesitation they showed me what I wanted and actually offered me an exceptional deal but even so it was above my budget limit. So then we broke down to brass tacks and got what I "needed" at the price I wanted, which was an acceptable compromise. The point here though is they took the time to show me what I wanted even if I could not afford it. This means when I am in a better position, I know I can come back and get a great deal on what I want. Thanks.

I have bad credit and know getting a car is an uphill battle. However, Marko told me I was approved. I told him my payment requirements and he told me it could be done. However, I spent three hours sitting in their office while they crunched the numbers and they told me that they couldn't offer me anything except one car for more than I was willing to spend monthly and with triple the down payment.I was upset they lied, but expected that stepping into a car lot.However, the worst part is that my car now rattles in the dash since they took it to the back to figure out it's trade-in value. I called to speak to a manager to see what the cause was and he told me it wasn't their fault.Tony actually recommended that I follow through and sue them - he was completely unwilling to help. He actually told me that I could serve papers to Southlake Auto Mall if I had any further questions.To be fair -Marko was friendly and amiable. However, friendliness doesn't fix a lie told at the beginning, three hours sitting in the lobby and then my car having issues after they used it is inexcusable.

I had a Credit recovery Program for Mike Kor's Kia and was approved online for 27,416.00 which is enough to buy any car I wanted. I wrote down the Confirmation code and took it into the dealership today. They had to verify my stuff again, so I gave them all the figures I put into the online process.Guess what They couldn't help me.xxx yeah I have not perfect Credit that is why there is this program...Earl Nymeyer was the one who "help" me.I am telling all my friends and family about how poorly I was treated at Kia along with anyone who reads this.DON"T SHOP HERE!!!

They had us sign a deal. Sign here we have a deal ghe paper says. Then after the cars being washed and we have keys. They tell us the messed up the numbers and the payment would be three hundred more a month. Said sorry with a huge smile on there face and told us sorry it was human error and were not taking the loss. Needles to say we left with nothing after spending fours hours there and destroying my wifes heart. We had the keys we shook hands we signed the paper and then tbey messed up and they were cruel. Thry gave us a tour and showed us the owners toys and how great he is. Then when they messed up they said its corporate owned and wouldnt divulge a name. I found it however. Thank u so much michael kors, not only did u do shotty businesses u screwed over a veteran. Save ur time people this place is full of arrogant incompetent boys who are incapable of goi g through with a business agreemnet. And yes I will make an attempt and talk to ghe better business bureau

I had very specific needs. Many dealerships were unable to help me, but Southlake Kia was extremely flexible and did everything they could to help me out. Eric Landsverk was the man I worked with most. He was patient with me, my 'picky-ness', and my inexperience. He answered all questions and made absolute sure I drove away feeling completely comfortable with my purchase.He also worked with my grandparents. They were crazy about him as well. (And, trust me, it is not easy to win them over). Fun addition: my grandparents set one of the model car alarms off by sliding their hands in the cracked window and unlocking the door. Seriously. And not a single employee in the dealership acted as though it was an issue. Even though we mostly worked with Eric, I can say the entire staff seems kind and helpful.

On October 25, we went to Southlake Kia to just look at cars. The salesman, Juan was great to work with! We had the best experience we have EVER had in buying a car! During my test drive Eric did a great job at explaining the features of the car(s) I drove. He also took time to explain the Lifetime Warranty over the phone, to my uncle, whom I consulted with before purchasing the car to make sure I was indeed getting a good deal! I had to have a friend drive me out to Southlake Auto Mall because my car quit on my after 12 years. Rafael Cartegena came out to greet us and the rest is history. After showing me several cars within my price range, Rafael was able to help me narrow down the choices with his excellent knowledge of both new and used cars on the lot. He never rushed or tried to push me into something out of my range. I really liked that. Nothing worse than a pushy car salesman, so I was grateful that none of that was present here at Southlake Kia. He patiently sat in each of the cars I wanted to test drive and gave me the details for each while I drove. By the end of my experience, I have to say that this was the easiest time at a dealership that I've had. Thanks to all the folks at there that helped me through every step. I appreciate you all, because even the ones who weren't directly involved were very pleasant. I will recommend Southlake Kia to anyone that's interested in getting a quality vehicle.

I had done my research on the 2015 Kia Optima, and set my eyes on it as the car of my choice. While looking around online and at several other dealerships, the one I wanted was at my local Kia dealership. I called and Rafael Cartagena answered my call. He set up an appointment for me and after work, I set out to check out the car I was interested in. When I got there, the car was ready for me to check out, running and pulled aside - no waiting! He was very nice and answered everything I needed to know or was curious about. We instantly took it for a test drive, and I was a little skeptical on the car, but he reassured me on everything I was wondering. I had decided to purchase the vehicle, and he led me through the whole process, going over every brochure and piece of paper possible which is fantastic. He wanted me to know he was there to help. I couldn't have had a better experience, and I'm glad he answered my call when I first inquired about the vehicle. I'm 23 years old with a brand new 2015 Kia Optima - how awesome is that? Its been three weeks (sorry for a late review) and I'm very much enjoying my new vehicle. I've tinted its windows and added a few accessories to make it more to my appeal. I have a few upgrades to complete, which will all happen over time. I've yet to make my first payment, but it'll be nice when it does start. Thank you for the awesome car, and a huge commendation is deserved for my sales associate!

Was driving a 2004 Buick, in 2011! Within the 1st 3 months I had to replace the transmission among other things. So 3 yrs later we have more problems, I decide I am going to trade it and get new! I start researching Kia. A co worker purchased at Southlake and encouraged me to check it out! I was greeted by a very friendly Rapheal Cartagena Jr. He was willing to show me anything I was interested in! I mentioned Soul and Ootima! Have knee problems so the Soul was easy in and out! Then I drove it and was instantly in love! When the fun part started they made the purchase part very easy. They took my junk off my hands and really worked with me on it because I was upsode down! All the staff in that dealership whether they worked with you or not were extremely welcoming! I so highly recommend Southlake kia and Rapheal! Stop it an see him! Purchase a KIa you won't go wrong! You get so much more for your money and Southlake, Rapheal and the finance guys will go out of their way to get more then what you paid for!

Recently, I was in a bit of a bind when my car broke down. I had previously spoken to Rafael Cartagena about purchasing a car. He took me on 3 test drives with no pressure whatsoever. I felt like the ball was in my court, he was easy-going, friendly, and knowledgeable on the vehicles. When I returned 3 weeks later, we picked back up right where we left off without a hitch. I already knew what I wanted and they made me a great offer. The paperwork and application was a breeze and they even stayed late to help me get the car home that night. I am now holding the keys to a 2014 Kia and boy does it feel good!Give them a call, their cars are quality automobiles, the deals are great, and best of all the customer service is exceptional! After experiencing a loss of my new Sorento to a fire I was really unsure about purchasing another. My vehicle caught fire at a dealership because of a faulty tow hitch. Dixie and Dakota at Southlake could not make buying a KIa a better experience. They showed me what was on hand and even took time to talk about ordering one I would build. I will return for all maintenance and have suggested to my girls to look there before they shop anywhere else.

I worked with both Michael Vega and Rafael Cartagena and both were exceptional! I bought my first new car through them and they changed my past experience with car dealers. They didn't use any sales tactics and didn't beat around the bush when it came to the price. They treated me as more then just a sale. Even when I had issues adding accessories to my vehicle they went above and beyond my expectations to make sure everything worked out as planned! Hello. I was very happy with the salesman, Rafael Cartagena Jr., that helped my family. We told him what we was looking for and what price range that we could afford. He went to work and made things happen. He made us feel like we meant something other than money in his pocket. Since I picked up the car I have shown several people in my family and told them that if they wanted a great car and good deal then they needed to make sure that they went to this dealership and asked for this man by name. I have credit issues and they refuse to take outside financing. Sounds like kickbacks prevent them from taking an outside check. Had me rush there (62 miles in torrential downpours) only to be told they wouldn't accept my financing. Didn't even have the decency to offer me water or a cup of coffee. 4 1/2 hrs of my life gone, the gas, and what I lost by leaving work early to get there because they insisted I come that day. Sent a message yesterday AM daring Mike Kors to call me and listen to my experience and of course I haven't heard squat. They say they treat you better than family, so I'd sure hate to be in their family. I had a difficult time getting someone to call me also from their website internet chat. Rafael said he called me (at work and cell) on the day he had me rush over there. He left a message on my cell, but all that message said was that they wouldn't finance me, nothing about not taking outside financing. Also, when I was there and left but came back in because I wanted to talk to the sales manager, the sales manager only sent a message through Rafael and didn't have the guts or decency to come talk to me personally. I may not have money, but I have this voice and I will make myself be heard if nothing more than writing reviews based on this less than positive experience.

i was really in need of a new car my father has owned more then one of kia models and was happy with all them ,so why not give them a try. fell in love with the 2014 kia soul . i however was on a tight budget. some how they helped me get the car i wanted at the price that worked for me it was a great experience and would recommend this dealership to everyone. thanks marko and the whole team who helped put my deal together

The sales associate, Claude Abbott , misrepresented option details about the vehicle then denied the facts of the matter after sale. Also refused to provide an extra key for the vehicle when documents indicated there was a second key. Told me to buy myself a key for a "few" dollars. Later found that key costed $85.00 to $115.00. When I stated my concerns, he stated, " There is nothing I can do to help you". This salesman is only concerned with making a fast sale. Shows little concern for the customer, and has poor knowledge of products he is selling. Please be cautioned that he will deny his mistakes and place all blame on the customer. Avoid this salesman at all cost.
