I filled out the pre approval form online and within ten minutes I had already received a call from Max to set up an appointment to go and see the Kia Sorento that I was interested in. I went over that evening and worked with Geoff who took us for a test drive and then helped us get set up with a lender. Geoff and Michael seemed to go to great lengths to ensure that we were approved and getting the best deal possible. Geoff and Michael were both extremely friendly and professional! I highly recommend working with them if you get the opportunity. They were able to get us approved that evening and we left with the Sorento that night. They even stayed two hours after closing to finish up the process for us. The next day the alternator ended up going out on it and even though we did not have a warranty they said they would absolutely fix it for us with no charge. Geoff actually rode over immediately and brought us another vehicle to drive while ours was getting fixed. They were very apologetic and surprised that this happened. My husband and I were not upset with them at all as it seemed like a freak thing and we understand that these things just happen sometimes. I couldn't have had a better experience and I am so grateful that we made the trip over. The car was well worth it but the excellent customer service really made the experience over the top! Once again I can't recommend Geoff and Michael enough!!!

The price was fair, especially given high demand for affordable trucks in the area. Ahmad Salehi guided me through the paperwork, was happy to answer questions I had on the legal terms, and helped close the purchase quickly and efficiently. We recently moved to the area to be closer to my wifes family and needed a bigger car now that we had a little one on the way. Heard a lot of good things about this dealership and Kia in general so we figured it wouldnt hurt to stop by on our way through town one day to see what they had to offer. Test drove the new Soul and really liked it, but they unfortunately did not have the color combination we wanted. Our salesman was super helpful and assured us that they would inform us as soon as they were able to locate a car with the color/options we wanted. Ricardo, Ahmed and Jake all worked very hard to make it possible for my family to have a good car for years to come despite not having the best credit! I have never left an online review before, but I Steven Kia took very good care of me and it was the least I could do. Thanks again for everything guys!

I'm a first-time, no credit history, car buyer. I came into Steven Kia because a friend had recommended I look there. Christian Letelier was my consultant. He greeted me at the door with a great friendly smile, didn't "pounce" on me like some dealers do. His goal was to get me in a great car with the lowest possible payment. I told him I needed a car with good gas mileage, and he picked a 2012 Nissan Sentra. I fell in love--especially when he said it had 27/34 mpg. They give you a free full tank of gas and get it detailed/cleaned before you drive it home! Steven Kia is THE only place I'll ever go from now on to get a car! :)

We came to Harrisonburg today after a very exasperating experience, driving over two hours to Culpeper to look at a car, then receiving a text that the car had been sold just 20 minutes before we arrived at the dealership. Ahmad met us at Steven Kia with friendly smile and a cordial handshake. His good sense of humor lifted us out of our gloom, and put us back on track of finding the vehicle we were looking for. He was very patient with us and although he was persistent, he was in no way pushy to make a sale. I forget how many vehicles we looked at. It was quite a few. He even drove us to the sister dealership to show us some cars over there. He seemed sufficiently knowledgeable to answer all of our questions. He was finally able to match our needs and price-range with a vehicle on the lot and he accompanied us during the test drive, answering our questions as we drove. He negotiated with us on a great deal, making concessions for our concerns and adjusting the price to our liking. Unlike most car dealers who you just want to avoid, he actually made us feel good about our purchase and has committed to serving us on making some cosmetic repairs to our vehicle. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.

So I walk into the dealership totally not thinking of purchasing a new vehicle. Why would I??? My current car is going to be paid of in less than 6 months!!! I actually went in for the sole purpose of assisting my friend with the purchase of HER new vehicle. While my friend was shopping for her new vehicle...I started getting new car fever myself. I did not make any commitments that day, but did return the following day to express my interest in a vehicle I had found on the lot. Over the course of the next THREE days, Ricardo worked extra hard to make sure I got the vehicle I wanted and the payments that I deserved. All while making me feel like I was the only customer he had!!! SO NOT TRUE by the way. Everyone at the dealership was so friendly and fun and it was a super enjoyable experience. Overall, I would have to say my experience was far beyond any rating I can give, and would, have and will recommend the dealership to anyone interested (and possibly some that aren't) in purchasing a new vehicle. Bought a used car for my teenage son for his first car. He loves it. The buying process is a little long but everything is excellent. After we got the car home we found out the headlights were not working and I called Ahmad at the dealership and told him he told me to bring it back out as soon as I could, I took it the next day and they replaced the headlight,signal switch that had went bad.I only had to wait a few hours.

I was a first time buyer and generally when I go places to look at cars the dealerships don't take me seriously. Steven Kia was completely different! They worked with me over several days to get the car I wanted at the price I wanted as well! After dealing with probably 5 dealerships I have to say that Steven Kia was the best; no doubt about it. I was looking for a good deal on a used Jeep Grand Cherokee and came across this dealership that had one about 40 minutes from my house in another city. I was very pleasantly surprised at the low-pressure and great attention to me as a customer that their sales people had. I have rarely had such a good experience when trying to negotiate a good deal for myself. They already had a great price on the vehicle but worked with me on my budget to make the deal happen. I can tell that I will also be a member of their "family" of buyers, even though my purchase was a used vehicle and not a Kia. I came in just looking at a Certified Pre Owned Optima that I saw on their website. I had submitted a lead for the vehicle on their website and got a very quick follow up from Max, their web manager, letting me know that the vehicle was still available and that he would work with me personally if I would like to look at it. It was a very low pressure visit where I also worked with Michael, their sales manager, to make sure that it fit in my budget. After seeing the great deal that I got, I couldn't pass it up. They even let me take the car for the day to make sure my wife liked it before we bought. After deciding that we had to have it the sales process was very low key and easy going. Tyler, the finance manager made sure that we got a great deal on some extended warranty plans to go along with the great warranty that comes on all certified pre owned KIAs. All in all a fantastic experience. After just getting my first oil change (which was free), they even detailed my car for me. Have recommended to all of my co workers and will continue going back for all of my future car purchases.

I reached out to Steven Kia through the internet late Saturday evening inquiring about a new 2014 Soul base model (manual). Sunday evening I received a call. In that call, which took 30 minutes, they offered to pay off my off my old car and get me the payment range I was looking for. Also they offered to drive the vehicle to me from the dealership to my house. God May rest on Sunday, but Steven Kia does not! I know the offer they gave me put them on a stretch, but willing to go out on a limb for me and deliver to my house, what more can you ask for? Go Steven Kia or just go home!

Traveled from Fort Lee to Harrisonburg to make this purchase based on Ahmads service before the sale including sending me un-enhanced pictures and verifying what service was done to prepare the vehicle for sale. Ahmad ensured the vehicle was fully serviced, detailed and ready for my test drive. Extra kudos for him turning on the heat, heated seats and heated steering wheelmade for a very warm welcome!Steven KIA is a small dealership with few staff members despite the volume they sell. I would have appreciated reviewing the numbers of my deal (trade, specifically) before sitting down with the finance manager and having my credit pulled. I expressed to Ahmad that I wanted to complete this step first but that didnt happen. In the end, I got the deal I was looking for, so no harm no foul. Had I not purchased the car due to unfavorable terms/ trade in, etc. I would have an unwanted inquiry on my credit report.After the numbers were worked outand we both compromised (them more than me)the rest of the process was painless. Dealer offered additional services but was not pushy. I was driving from NY to my home in TN and my car broke down on the interstate in Harrisonburg, VA. It was Sunday, I had to spend the night in a hotel as the dealership was closed. The next morning I contacted Steven Kia where my car was towed to. They told me they had my car and were working on it. I went to the dealership using their courtesy van and was told that my radiator cap was off on and my coolant had all spilled out and that caused my car to overheat. We paid $122.01 to them and left. 453 miles down the interstate my check engine light came on and the car started shaking. I called roadside and they towed me to another dealership who told me that my head gasket had blown and there was coolant in my oil. They replaced the head gasket and my car was tied up for almost two weeks. I called back to Steven Kia to ask for a refund on my $122.01 since they did not fix the problem. According to Matt the Service manager and son of Steven. They stand behind their work and refused to accept any blame stating that the notes on the report say my coolant cap was loose. (Wait, look back they said my cap was completely off) I asked if it was loose or off. He again stated it was loose. What happened was they put a band-aid on the car to avoid them from doing the 2 week repair job that should have been done. And now they refuse to pay me back my $122.01 that they charged me for not fixing a problem. I urge you to NOT do business with this company. They DO NOT stand behind their service work. Especially if you are just passing through.

If your ideal new car buying experience includes arrogant high-pressure sales and office staff, then by all means buy your new KIA here. If that description doesnt sound like the experience you would like, then please considering traveling out of Harrisonburg for your KIA shopping. I can tell you from my personal experience, even if these folks are nice during the purchasing process, that all ends once you sign on the dotted line. Do yourself a favor and just drive out of town and avoid this dealer. I know this is petty, but this dealer wouldnt even give us change to use in their pay soda machine after we purchased a brand new KIA from them.

Worse customer experience ever! I bought a new car on Saturday at Steven Kia in Harrisonburg and they were okay to deal with until paperwork was signed; today I went back to pick up the floor mats that came with the car and they treated us horrible! The salesman was Tyler, and the other guy helping was Jake Sodikoff. On Saturday I was given the option between the two sets of floor mats (all weather or standard). I wanted to see both sets before making a decision, but they didn't have them available on Saturday that is why we went back in today. Once I got there I thought it would be nice to have both sets, the standard looked better but the rubber all-weather would be nice for snow and rain. The salesman priced both sets at around $100, as any wise consumer before I bought the mats from the dealer, I thought it best to price check. Guess they don't approve of price comparisons... I asked my husband to use his phone to look online real quick to see if I could get them cheaper and the owners son (Jake Sodikoff) did not like us using a cell phone to go online to price check at all!!! After this Jake began to make rude comments, so I asked if I had came across as rude, (At this point I could tell they weren't happy with us) I was about to apologize in case something I had said came across wrong, but before I could Jake Sodikoff went on to tell my husband and I we were the rudest customers he had ever dealt with, and followed up with asking my husband and I to leave the property! I wish I would have never bought a car from them! My opinion is just that, an opinion. However I ask everyone to think twice before shopping with Steven Kia!!! And I want to apologize to my friends who work for Steven Toyota, for bad mouthing the company you work for, however I think you know me well enough that I never bad mouth any company publicly! This is a first- and it is justified! Jake Sodikoff's dad owns Steven Toyota so not sure how far I will get with my complaints here in town, which he made it a point to tell us. My guess is it is the last day of the month and they may have been upset they didn't hit sales quota for the month!--Cause other than that I have no idea what happened other than price checking floor mats. WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER CAR FROM STEVEN KIA!!!

I've had 3 Kia's and didn't really want another. Not because they aren't great cars, but because we didn't want to have two at the same time. This dealership changed my mind because it is such a different buying experience. No back & forth between salesman & finance guy & they really seem to be doing best job to get you the best deal. Push for additional warranty packages was a bit stronger than had been in the past, which was midly annoying, otherwise I would have given a perfect score.

I went in to look at a 2013 Kia sportage. I test drive a black sx and loved it. When I went to get my vehicle appraised for the trade in, found out they sold the black one, but had a red ex model. Chris told me it was a 1000 more than the other one. I fell in love with it only to find out it was almost 4000 more. Matt spoke to me and my dad and got a perfect deal worked out. We drove 1 1/2 hours to look at a car we saw online. We get there and Jake takes us to look at the car at Steven Toyota. It was okay. We test drove a Ford truck. We go back to the Kia place with Jonathan and Jake. We were sold. We purchased 2 vehicles from these guys. A 2013 Kia Soul and a 2008 Ford F159 Lariat. Those guys are the finest group of people I have ever dealt with. We will never shop anywhere else again. I will also recommend this dealership to ALL who will listen. I have had work on my KIA Sedona several times and each time I have been very pleased with the work and the time spent there. The last time I came in I had more work to be done than the time would allow and Mike made sure I received a rental so the work could be done in one trip. All work has been done in the time given and for the price given although it is usually in less time and less cost than I expected. Everyone is always professional and friendly and it is a pleasure to have work done there since there are comfortable seating and coffee if needed. I would, without reservation, recommend you for work or for purchase. The next time I need a car I will look here before any other place.

I cannot say enough good things about Kia Service. I have been taking my car there for almost 9 years. Several times I have come in next to tears, including the day of my father's funeral when "Jen" took me on short notice because my car could not be driven to Charlotte and she got me all fixed up. Patrick and Mike always say hi to me by name when I walk in the door. Several times they have taken my car late in the day when something unexpected happened and had it fixed by 6:00. Once I needed printouts of all the service calls when I was considering selling it, and they were provided to me by the administrative person(now I keep them all in a folder!)I trust you all--and that is saying a lot. You help me keep up with what needs to be done on my car. It is great to know you have all my service records right there in the computer. I appreciate the wifi in the service lounge, though real cream for the coffee would be wonderful :-) Most of all, I just appreciate everyone being so friendly and nice.

i called steven kia today and talked to a sales man and he explained about the spare,,he was really nice and explained how all works,,i wish i would have got his name,,he explained clearly about my warrenty and why there is no spare tire in the kia soul,,it is a wounderfull car and fun to drive and you cant beat the warrenty so i would highly recomend steven kia,,he was so nice,,he even told me when i came in for my free service they would give me free gas,,thanks steven kia

My first purchase from them was the Soul, my mind was already set, and the 5speed was hard to find...but they had it.Drove to Harrisonburg from Stephens City, Ricardo and the crew worked as a team. Few months later I realize the 5speed wasn't right for me, Ricardo, said I'll be here to serve you and truly make you happy.I looked at the automatic Soul, but Rico really knew what car would truly suit me.(Had the Soul 9mos,)I drove out with the Rio...I'm head over heels with my new car, it truly fits me. He did me right! The first purchase, my mind was set...second time, my sales rep had a better idea of who I was...I will always go to him first. That staff is truly great...I'll recommend them always...and when they see my car..they'll want one too.

Having worked in high end retail sales previously and being a business management major, and currently working as an engineering contractor to a state agency, I was pleasantly impressed with how very affable yet professional appearing the staff was and how comfortable Chris made the whole process for us. The dealership's pricing was within the upper average range but they were fair and the negotiation process was not as weighty as I had anticipated it would be. They listened to and addressed our concerns and answered our questions. They helped make us feel more confident about purchasing a used vehicle and they treated our sale as important as, and as well as if we had been purchasing their newest top-end vehicle in their line. Granted the vehicle was what we had wanted to purchase, but it was Chris and the staff who met our key points and really made this sale happen. They came across as very genuine and not either too fawning, nor pretentious in order to make this sale. Their relaxed and supportive style made a big difference, we did not feel any pressure nor did we feel we were being "led" into this sale. There was a feeling of total respect and desire to meet our needs and less of a feeling of their need to sell us their vehicle. I hope the dealership can clearly see what an asset their sales team is, and in particular Chris's style. When I ever decide to start my own business, I feel very confident that I would love to have an assest like him on my own team.

We had been to several other dealers looking at vehicles before going to Harrisonburg to Steven Kia. After looking online and contacting the online sales #, they emailed us information on a few different vehicles that we were interested in. After reviewing the information we decided to go and check out one of the vehicles. We were met at the dealership by Ricardo and Michael. Ricardo showed us the vehicle that we were interested in and some others that he thought we would like. We ended up getting one that he recommended and were very satisfied with the whole process. We were there after hours finishing the deal and the paperwork, yet we did not feel like we were being pushed or rushed. Michael did an excellent job with the paperwork, explaining the warranty and such. Ricardo was very knowledgeable and helpful in setting up our bluetooth and satelite service and going over the functions of the vehicle. Both Ricardo and Michael were very friendly, professional, and easy to work with. We were very impressed and will return for our future vehicle needs and will send others their way.

I found the car my daughter wanted, for a good price, without having to haggle, and they gave me an outstanding interest rate, better than I could get with my own bank. I will shop here again. The only problem I found is a lack of response from internet requests. I tried twice and still haven't heard back. But, once you are there and meet the sales associates, you forget about the other.

The actual day of sale was a little bumpy but I was very pleased with how every person in the building jumped in and made it go smoothly. They all work together great as a team. I'm in love with my new car! Since the purchase there has been follow up from Steven Kia to be sure that I am pleased. I wanted a very specific car and they were one of few dealers in the state that had it. It was worth the drive. This is my second purchase. Thank you!

I recently visited Steven Kia and was fortunate enough to have a wonderful Salesman by the name of Ricardo. From beginning to end he was very friendly,knowledgable and willing to assist me with my every question and concern with a smile on his face. Most salesman/dealerships are "pushey" from the get go in trying to make you purchase something that you don't want or need and I don't feel that is the experience I had with Ricardo. I specialize in energy efficient computing (Green IT), so it is important for me to have a hybrid vehicle. For the last two years I did not like anything on the market until now. I saw a commercial of the Kia Optima Hybrid, and had to have one. I looked for a dealership outside of the DC metropolitan area to get a better price. I worked with Ricardo Raymond over the phone and through the internet for a couple weeks. I drove 2 hours down to Harrisonburg from Ashburn. When I got there, they had everything ready. The car was better in person. They had me in and out of there really fast. The drive back was awesome! Ricardo Raymond made sure that all the typical headaches that occur during a car sale, were eliminated. When buying this car I feel like they sales man was very deceptive. I tried to leave several times and instead of letting me think about it and do some research, he intentionally did not want me to leave. Knowing that if I did research and found out that he was not accually giving me a good deal. Then I thought I was paying one price and on the papers when I got home it was another price. I thought he was totally wrong acting like he was doing me a favor and all along was being deceitful. I will not recommend anyone and if anyone ask I will not give Steven Kia or Ricardo Raymond a good or even ok review. If I could take the car back I defenitly would. Not because I don't like the car, but because I paid too much for the type of vehical and payment that I got.

I had been looking to purchase a new car and stopped by Steven KIA as a potential option. I was met by Chris Payne on the lot who was able to thoroughly explain to me all of the features and benefits of each car I was interested in. He was very patient with me as I am not one to make a quick decision and my kids were continually needing my attention. After having been to another KIA down the road and not experiencing the quality service that I was at Steven KIA, I was willing to give my business to Steven KIA. Chris was very helpful and friendly throughout the entire process. He even followed up with me a week later to make sure everything was still doin fine!I also worked with the finance manager, Jake Sodikoff, during my transaction. He really seemed to have my best interest in mind and showed me the leasing me car would be the best option. I was impressed by his knowledge, professionalism and customer service skills. He is also a great dresser. I think that as good of an experience as buying a car can be... this was the best. Thanks Steven KIA. I'll be sure to come back!

He also made a special efford to take us to the Service Department and although closed - showed us around and indicated where we would have our car serviced. The salesman (Mr Raymond) was kind of off-putting. We went in and up front explained we didnt have the best credit. He acted like helping us was a waste of his time. Initially he tried to put us in a vehicle that I'm not sure a first time buyer/teenager would be willing to drive, much less a 38yr old woman with 2 kids. After we explained that we were not going to spend that kind of money on a car that didnt even have power locks, he did finally manage to put us in a car we liked. The process took HOURS. We were at this dealership for 5 hours before we were able to go home with a car. Throughout the process he really did not seem to care much about US at all.. it was almost like he was doing us this big favor by selling us a car. Several times throughout the day we discussed going somewhere else. I have since attempted to contact Mr Raymond to find out about a couple of things he had told us we could have done but he has yet to return an email or phone call.Now, that being said... when it came to dealing with the finance department, Jake Sodikoff was a joy. He was super friendly and really seemed happy to have us there. He stayed in touch with me as we finalized the whole deal. When we had to go back to the dealership to finish up some paperwork, he was still, super friendly. I have no issues dealing with him and would happily work with him again. Too bad he couldnt have been the salesman also.

I probably in reality did not have the best experience. Reason being, I towed my car to your service slop, told computer was reset, car starts without issues and charge me for what your service tech deemed as non issue because he failed to recreate the issue before he reset the cpu based on previous codes that were causing the check engine light to come on after starting vehicle. I don't know if I've heard that before, but can say I have now. Not a good way to keep me coming back to service my vehicle only when warranty related. Can also say my last time to buy a car from your car lots.

So i called because the dealership never called me to tell me my part was in for my car which is under warranty. They said it was in. Made my appt. Drove an hour and a half. Got there, they did not walk around my car like they previously had done. Had 2 things that needed to be done . Update spare car key & replace driver seat cover with a new one. Car is under a year old & it(seat)was already freying around the mesh part mesh mostly leather. Anyhow, so they say the part is in , may take a couple of hours. After an hour or so, service man comes back tells me he has bad news. The part is in but for the passenger side. Not gonna work for the drivers side at all. Told me he ordered for driver but they sent passenger. So part was to be reordered. Anyhow, this is the 2nd time I will bringing my car back for a 2nd attempt to have it repaired. PS. In Dec. & Feb. car was brought back for a similar incident with another type repair with the warning light. Warning light was fixed twice.I also noticed when I had my oil changed that they did not reset the oil guage in the car. Makes me wonder if they know what they are doing.
