I want to thank the professional and courteous sales staff at Steve's Hometown Toyota for an easy buying process and a great price on the exact Highlander that we were looking for. Our sales consultant, Mark Rodriguez, was very knowledgable about all of the differences between the various trim levels, and it was evident that he was committed to helping us find what we were looking for. The entire staff was very low pressure and made us a great offer on our trade, not to mention a great price for the new Highlander. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and will definitely be back again to buy our next car.

I purchased a used truck from them that I found on the Internet. The salesman was fine but he quickly turned it over to his salesman who was a total Jerk. He thought he could just come over an intiminate me into signing his deal. When I shoved his deal back in his face he was suprised. He also did not like it that I did not use their fianacing. After some back and forth bickering we bought the truck on our terms. They are not worth the trip.

Just purchased a used Camry from Hometown, and thanks to Luis, our salesman, it was a terrific experience. Our daughter, the purchaser, mentioned to my wife that she was out of milk for our grandson, and the next thing we knew was that Luis had run to a nearby convenience store, and returned with a container of milk! The deal had already been consummated, so there was no ulterior motive. Best car salesman I have ever experienced in my 69 years. Probably wouldn't have purchased the car if it wasn't for his honesty and hard work. Luis got us a much better deal than we could find in Boise. Mike, Willy, and Jennifer

I negotiated a price over the phone since I live two hours away. After I got my financing in place ( the next day) they called and informed me they had another buyer willing to pay more and that I would have to match that price if I wanted the car! Not o ly is this bad business, the sales manager ( not the salesman) was a total jerk!! DONT DO BUSINESS WITH HOMETOWN TOYOTA!!!!

This is my second Toyota I have purchased from this dealer. Both times I have used Dan Burks as our sales person. Dan is very friendly, personable and made our entire experience top notch. I had my truck customized with a bed liner, running boards, tinted windows, And a few other things. Dan made all the arrangements and had everything completed when I arrived to pick up my truck. He even picked me up at the airport. Dan took the time to go over the most important features such as setting up my Bluetooth , XM radio and such. Since I had a long drive home, he put snacks & water bottles in the truck as a little thank you for our business. We have several other friends that have used Dan Burks as their salesperson and we all think he's great. I highly recommend Dan a Burks and Steve's Toyota for all your Toyota needs.

Drove over 100 miles to look at a car they had on their lot. Only to get there and have them closed during the business hours they have posted on their website and on their answering machine. The following week, was able to get a hold them. Agreed on the price of the car, told us how nice it was. Showed up and the windshield had a crack in it, where there use to be a small screen for a DVD player was just a gaping hole in the back of headrest, and the passenger back door wouldn't open. Then when we went to test drive the headlights didn't work. So now we have drove over 300 miles and still nothing!! They promised they would right the situation and deliver the car the next day. By 1 pm the next day still had not heard from them. So I called only to find out that they would not fix the problems except for the headlights and wouldn't go down in price either!!!!

Had a great experience here. Bought a pre-owned Toyotoa 4Runner. I live 6 hours away so Corey texted me several pictures of the vehicle prior to making the trip. Price negotiation was easy. Flew from Spokane to Boise and Ed picked my wife and I up at the airport and drove us the 45-50 minutes to Ontario. Les was awesome and helped us out with everything. Great customer service. Friendly and efficient. Would definitely go back. Awesome job guys! Beat car purchase experience I've had.

I will never again purchase a vehicle from Steves Hometown Toyota. I wanted to trade my 2013 Tacoma for something with four doors even like a 2008 and was told it would cost $100.00 more than I was paying for my Tacoma. One week later I said yes and was told I would have to put $6000.00 down. The service department is great but the sales department will never again have any of my business I acted like I believed what he told me but I did not.

My wife and I have purchased a number of cars over the years from many different dealerships. The purchase of a newer model Avalon and trade in our older Avalon was probably the smoothest and most enjoyable experience we have had in trading cars. The staff including our salesman, Dan Burks, was most accommodating and helpful in answering all questions and having the car we were looking at ready when we arrived. There was no pressure or urgency in the entire process. We both left feeling very satisfied with the entire process.

For eight years I've taken my car to this dealership for regular maintenance and to resolve any questions or problems I've had (even those drummed up in the mind of a little old lady). Though there were many opportunities to add extra fees for unneeded work, they have NEVER done that. I know of other dealerships who do, so Hometown Toyota should be commended for their honesty and quality of work. Then I decided to look at newer cars and was assisted by Billy. Even though I told him I was just thinking about it and wasn't ready to buy, he took the time to show me what was available and explained what my car was worth and my different options. This is a far cry from other dealerships I've done business with and I highly recommend them.

We recently bought a car from this dealership. Our salesman was Corey Holloway and he was great. It was the fastest and most painless process in our search for a car. He was straight forward and honest which we appreciated and felt very comfortable and happy with the estimates he quoted and provided us. We had friends recommend this dealership and now we understand why. Thank you Corey!

I just purchased a 2014 Corolla LE to replace my 2006 Scion xB (which I bought used), and the service at Hometown Toyota was excellent both times. This was due largely to the salesman, Corey Holloway, who is knowledgeable, efficient, and extremely personable. He helped me to identify a vehicle with a price that stayed within my budget, and I just love the car! I would definitely recommend this dealership.

We contacted Hometown Toyota via internet after doing research on the net about various vehicles. When we got there they had the vehicles we had requested to look at all ready. We really appreciated the fact that no one was pushy, everyone was polite, courteous and easy to deal with. We got a great used car from a very nice salesman and would definitely go back again to purchase another vehicle.

We purchased a new vehicle from Hometown in 2008. Recently the SRS (air bag) indicator light came on while driving down the road. The owners manuel said to take it immediately to the Toyota dealer, which is what I did. They worked on it for 2 hours and were unable to diagnose the problem. They were going to need to keep my car for a few days do to it being the 4th of July weekend. They provided me with a nice loaner car, but it was completely on empty and I had to go directly to the gas station before going home. Apparently a coil had to be replaced and it cost us $500.00. The next moring I relalized that my horn was no longer working. My husband called and they said something must have gotten disconnected and to bring it back in. I spent another 2 hours waiting for the fix. I was then informed that there was a short and my horn had to be replaced. I was charged $100.00. I will not be bringing my vehicle back to Hometown for anymore repairs. If I would have just ignored the airbag indicator, I would still have my original working horn and $600.00 in the bank. (My fathers SRS indicator light has been on for 3 years. He said he will live with it and keep his money)

We came from Kennewick, WA to buy a 2010 Sequoia, and felt we were treated very well by the saleman Dan Burks. The price was great and the car everything we wanted. However: 1) The car had over 10 blue wonder wafers in it to cover the cigarette smell. When I removed the wafers the smell was overwhelming. Two months and three cleanings of the upholstery and the smell is almost gone. 2) A manager apparently used the car to take his family to Salt Lake City. He fogot to cleanout the melted candy bars, wrappers, spilled pop in the backseat. What a yucky mess. 3) As we prepared to leave, the salesman was unable to produce a second fob and key for the car and he said it would be sent to us when located. Comments: 1. This is the 3rd Certified Toyota that we have purchased and the first one that was not immaculate when we took possession. Steve's Hometown Toyota needs to tighten up it's detailing of certified cars if they expect to meet the high standards of Dealers we have bought cars from in the past. 2. If you see blue smelly wafers in the car, something about the car stinks, so beware! 3. I could not get any results or call backs from the salesman about the 2nd key, apparently it was lost and he did not want to deal with it. I finally contacted Lynn Perkins, (This woman was awesome!!), who is a manager at the dealership. She told me to go to the local dealership in Kennewick and send her the invoice for a new fob and key. This cost $345.00, do not lose your keys!!! We received the check yesterday. Any problems with your next purchase from Steve's Toyota, call LYNN. 4. Overall, the buying experience was good happy with the car, the price we paid, and I would recommend buying from this dealership again.

I've bought quite a few new vehicles over the years and have a good idea of what to expect when I walk into a dealership. What struck me right off the bat at Hometown was there was none of the phony bull when I was met on the lot. The fellow that came out welcomed me, asked what I was looking for, and said he would show me the invoice and let me make an offer on price... Excuse me? I guess he didn't know I'd done my homework and already KNEW the invoice on the truck. So we got in the truck, he makes sure I'm ok with the controls, asked if I knew the area, and told me to go wherever I wanted and take as long as I wanted. OK. So we get back to the dealer and go inside. I'm thinking here comes the phony numbers..... Wrong again. They promptly bring out the actual factory invoice, explain it to me clearly and accurately, and we agree on price. I'm not sure if there is any better way to buy a new vehicle..... Quick, courteous , and honest. I'd recommend these people and how they conduct their business to anyone looking for a vehicle .

Well, if you're coming to Steve's Hometown Toyota, you would be correct in that assumption! Absolute scum! Initially, I was pleasantly surprised by how smooth my experience with Billy seemed to be going. There was no pressure, no number circles. Yes, everything seemed great until we made an offer on the car. Prior to going to the dealership, we noted from the carfax that there were SIGNIFICANTLY MORE MILES on the car we were looking at than was listed on the dealer's website. However, when we brought this up we were assured we could bargain based on that. However, after driving all the way to Ontario based on that assumption......the company made it very clear they weren't willing to bargain at all, despite the 30% increase in mileage. HERE'S THE KICKER. After we left the lot, they RAISED THEIR ONLINE PRICE BY $7,000. Ludicrous. More than the car originally sold for, quite literally. They were rude in discussing the deal by phone, claiming they'd get back to us in five minutes and in reality taking 45+ for very simple questions. The back and forth was ridiculous, unprofessional, and absolutely disrespectful of the value of our time as serious buyers. In the end, we were sitting at the bank with a check, ready to pay the original price for the WRONG MILEAGE, and they wouldn't take it because they are FULL OF HIDDEN CHARGES. I can't even describe how negative this experience was. These scumbags are the epitome of why people hate car salesmen. Don't waste your time at this dealership. Go somewhere where you are actually treated with RESPECT and COURTESY, where you don't have to waste hours on GAMES and TRICKS.

I was in the market to purchase a used four door truck for camping and hunting with my family. My number one concern was a mechanically sound truck. I visited Steve's Hometown Motors in Ontario, OR. The salesman, Dan Burks, that I had talked with listened to what it was that I was interested in puchasing. Within a very short period of time he had presented me with a truck that I felt was a perfect match to what I was asking for. I was very impressed on how friendly he was and how efficient he had worked at getting me a great deal on the truck and a good price for my trade in. I would reccommend Hometown Motors and Dan Burks to any and all of my friends and family not only because they were able to get me what I was looking for, but also Dan Burks made this an extremely plesent experience for me. I'd have to say probably the best experience. Thank you again for your great service!

Peter, the salesman had no knowledge of the truck I was looking at, or the warranty info. I waited two hours for them to crunch numbers, finally they brought back the same price that was advertised and a lowball trade value. I was frustrated to say the least. Once I got home I found they had run my credit without any authorization. Bottom line, if i knew they could work with me a bit, I might make the drive to work with a different salesman.

I shopped around for about 2 months before I went to Steve's Home Town Toyota in Ontario, Oregon. I save about $4000 going with Steve's. They didn't have the truck I wanted but they ordered it and it came in right away. They also customized it for me. 3" lift kit, custom wheels, tinted windows. I was very impressed when I picked it up. Eddie Forderway was my salesman. He was pretty straight with the deal. We're going back to buy a SUV for my Wife.
