I am not one to write reviews, in fact this is my first. To start this is my 3rd Kia that I have owned. I loved my Kia Sorrento and my Kia Borrego. But this experience is the worst I have ever had with any dealership. My step daughter fell in love with a 2013 Kia Forte about a year ago. For starters, the salesman (I don't remember which one anymore) told her that he could qualify her if she had a "co-signer". She of course called her dad and he decided to "co-sign" after a long debate with her and myself. He did not live close and did his part by phone and fax. After having to provide almost a years worth of income verification for my husband, they were approved. We also didn't find out that they way over priced the car. It wasn't until my step daughter went into default on her loan that we found out that he was the primary person on the loan done thru Stokes Kia. When we questioned the sales department they told us that it was the only way to approve the loan. This should have been our first clue that this place is full of nothing but crooks. We ended up having to refinance the car and found out that they had charged her almost $4000 over what it was worth.Less than two months after we resolved our problem above on our own, the step daughter took the car in for problems with the brakes. When you hit the brakes they had a tendency to "stick" to the point that you had to put your foot under the brake pedal to release the brakes. They had the car for a whole day and said there was nothing wrong with the brakes at all and that they could not reproduce the problem therefore they had nothing to look for. The problem continued. When I called them they suggested we change the brakes. We had the brakes changed completely (not at Stokes)- new pads, boots, everything. The problem continued. When I called them again they suggested that we have the brakes bled because there must be air in the line. We had this done (again not at Stokes). The problem continued. I took the car to a service center that specializes in brakes. After they had the car for less than 5 minutes, and this included the tech driving in the parking lot, they concluded it was something wrong with the brake pedal. He wrote up what was wrong, he could fix it for around $500, but suggested taking it back to the dealer as my step daughter had purchased an extended warranty (as I said earlier they took advantage of her at the sale of this vehicle). I took what the tech had written up, their past evaluation where they found nothing, and all the other brake repair receipts to Stokes Kia. Will checked me in around 9am and said he would call us soon to let us know what was wrong. Around 3 in the afternoon no phone call. I called Stokes Kia and Will told me they had not finished checking the brakes. I told him once more that the problem was with the pedal. He said he would check with the tech and call me back. At 5 still no phone call. I called back and was told they were VERY short staffed and that I would get a phone call back. I called another Kia dealership and talked to their service department. They told me to bring the car in and they would check the brake pedal because it does not sound like the brakes have issues. I called Stokes Kia back and told them to get my car ready so I can pick it up. When I got there around 7pm, I was told that they had not finished the diagnostics and they could not find a problem, nor could they reproduce the issue. I told Will to get my car because I had someone else that would fix the problem. As I watched him bring my car to us, I watched the car jerk as it did EXACTLY what I told him was the problem. When I got in the car I noticed that they had not even taken it for a test drive to see if they could reproduce the problem, not even 1/4 mile was added to the odometer. No wonder they could not reproduce the issue, they didn't even try!I strongly suggest not going to this service center! This is my 3rd Kia vehicle. It may be a little out of the way to go to the other dealership in town, but well worth it. When I had issues with my other Kia vehicles, they cared and fixed the problems without trying to get me to do other repairs. I will never step foot into Stokes Kia again and will tell everyone I know the same thing.

I took my car into the service department for an appointment that I had previously made ( 1. My appointment was not in the system). After 5pm I received a call letting me know what the issue was with the car (because I trusted the dealership I signed off on the repairs although the cost was pricey). My service provider, Will, told me that my car would be ready on Friday ( I took it in first thing Monday morning). Although that would put me out for a week- I went along with it. On Thursday, I called to check on the status of my car and was sent on a wild goose chase by Sheila. After being disconnected, I called back to inquire on a warranty that came with my car as I purchased it brand-new from the dealership. I was told that they could not help me with my warranty because the computer system went down and they would call me right back. I never received a phone call that day. The next day I called back speaking again with Sheila, who sent me on another wild goose chase which eventually led to a VM that wasn't set up. I called right back and asked to speak with Will, my service man. She told me he wasn't in and she would leave a msg. I told her that I had been transferred all over the place and that I wanted a update on my car. I didn't leave a msg and headed there. once I arrive in walking in the first face I see was Will's (he was assisting another customer). Heather and a new associate lady (both were very nice) offered to help me but to no avail. When speaking with them the only thing I inquired was "if I purchased a car brand new from the dealership, what warranty come with it". The new associate told Will I was there to see him- after helping the customer he comes to me and flops a paper down in front of me and says "ma'am your car is not under warranty I told you that over the phone and that's why I gave you the price that I did!" Taken aback I told him that was not why I was there. The only thing I wanted to know was what was the warranty. he continued to tell me how my car was not under warranty because of a front end collision causing damage to the vehicle. After he saw I was calm, he began to tell me that he was out of the office for a few day and the car would not be ready until Monday. I expressed my frustrations that no one had called me or returned calls to me in regard to my car not being ready when they told me it would. He apologized and said they would put a rush on the service and it would be ready Monday. on Monday, I called to make sure the car would be ready that is when I was told that the car would not be ready until Wednesday due to parts having to go out of the shop. He gave me a timeline of what was happening and that pacified me simply because it was more info that I had received the week prior. On Wednesday, I called to make sure my car would be ready. Once again I got the runaround and disconnects from Sheila. Finally, I was able to get a guy named Johnny. He told me that Will had already left for the day and he didn't know why I was told Wednesday because the car would not be ready until NEXT MONDAY OR TUESDAY! I am furious that I have been lied to and disrespected by a car dealerships service department! I have never experienced any thing like this and plan to post my rating on every single media outlet possible.

I recieved excellent care and service and they were very helpful to get me exactly what I wanted without overselling me things I didn't want or need. I knew exactly what I wanted when I went in and they gave it to me without selling me something I didn't want or couldn't afford. The whole process only took a few hours, including my trade in and they gave me the best deal possible so I didn't have any negative equity on my current loan. Duffy was my salesman and he was amazing, kind and respectful. I will definitely go back and recommend the dealership to anyone I see!

Why I will not buy a vehicle from Stokes... * Wanted to receive a few pictures of a vehicle, but they refused to do so since the vehicle was in service. I have had a handful of other dealerships stop what they are doing and do a simple task. * I asked them to just communicate via e-mail, but they only called. Even after multiple times of saying to talk to me via e-mail * Once the pictures were uploaded to the site, it was just exterior. No interior or engine bay. * I asked politely to see if they could send those to me. Again, they call and ask for me to come down. * A few days past, and they send me an e-mail asking where I stood with purchasing the vehicle. Again, I asked for a simple request to take a picture of the engine bay. Nope. If you enjoy having to pull teeth to get an answer then go to Stokes. That should have been huge red flag to stay away from them.

My husband and I found a 2016 Kia Sorento online that met all of our wants and needs so we headed to Stoke Kia to test drive and ask questions. We already had a 2005 Kia Sorento that we have loved for years so we wanted to see what the newer models had to offer. As soon as we found the one we were looking for, our salesman came out to help us and answer our questions. Duffy was wonderful! He answered every question and showed us how the Sorento had changed in the newest model. A couple of hours later and we were leaving in our new Sorento! Hands down, the easiest car buying experience either of us has ever experienced. We would highly recommend Stokes and definitely Duffy to anyone interested in a Kia. We will definitely be back! MAKE SURE YOU KNOW YOUR TAXES BEFORE COMING HERE! I purchased a 2015 Optima and not living in SC, they had a challenge calculating the tax for GA. Ultimately, they charged $200.00 more than should have and I cannot get a hold of anyone to help out. I keep leaving messages and nobody calls back and living 2.5 hours away, I cannot just drive there. KIA America is of no help either as they say the dealerships are independently owned. What a shame.

I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. I went in for a regular oil change and wasn't aware that my front tire had an air pocket on the side. Stokes Kia failed to point this out to me and told me that a tire change wasn't included in my warranty. They also tried to sell me windshield wipers, stating that they looked "squeaky" when it was only dirt smeared across my windshield. They also told me that they "don't check tire air pressure on tires" the day I received a tire rotation from them. I kinda wished I kept my old car now!

Me and my husband went to do a trade and just a test drive,, our car is a 2011 Kia optima and we wanted a 2008 jeep liberty, the first time they where asking a ridiculous amount for the used jeep with 84,656 miles on it, they had just recieved it, the car was in terrible condition from the rear view mirror was missing it was terrible,the list goes on!!. We showed Brooks the manager better deals up the street for 2-3 cheaper and we're newer jeeps with lower miles, it still was not a good price so we left, then they called us back in that next week to work out a better deal, we go back and the other manager Don act like he didn't know what was going on, so we let him know what our asking price was, he said he wanted our business, he go and negotiate with Don, they bump the price up to 13k, they are all greedy sales man, and are trying to get over on people beware!!!!! Please do you research before going to car dealer!!!

From the minute I walked into this Dealership I could tell all of the employees number 1 objective was to do what was necessary to gain my business. Usually the car purchase procedure is like getting your wisdom teeth removed- constant haggling over price,vehicle and leaving either "worn out" or disgusted with high pressure salespeople.This is NOT the case at Stokes Kia! Came in at end of lease from Kia Sorrento looking to lease a Kia sportage. Our salesman Duffy Bernhard did everything he could to make this a good experience, from showing us numerous cars in the hot sun, giving good conversation and offering us cold drinks. Duffy, as well as Don Monahan spent a good amount of time with us making sure we fully understood our lease terms as well as getting us and affordable deal! We walked out with 2 new leased cars, since we had a second that was quickly meeting its allowable milage. We couldn't be happier! HIGHLY recommend Stokes Kia and def will go there again!!! This dealer worked hard to sell us a car. They clearly know how to please a customer. I was impressed when I walked in the door at the professional look of all of their salesmen and managers and that professionalism continued throughout the entire visit. Each person that we dealt with was wonderful and we could not be happier. They were efficient and delivered on what they promised. We recently purchased a like new used Kia Soul from Stokes Kia in 2014. Great little car. Our first service was June 24 , 2015. Service Manager Eric Dambaugh was wonderful in making us feel he wanted our service experience to be as good as possible and it proved so. My husband and I bought my first Kia Sorento 2011 in February 2010 and I have loved my Kia ever since. Went to test drive a 2016 Saturday and we were greeted by Mr. Bernhard who is the nicest man! He talked to us about what we were looking for and showed us the 2016 Sorento and talked to us about the options and safety features. We were then introduced to his partner, Mr. Tucker, as they work side-by-side and help each other with customers. He was just as friendly and knowledgeable so we felt we were in great hands throughout the whole process. I really cannot say enough nice things about both of them! They are a great team and my husband and I went home VERY happy customers with our new granite 2016 Sorento! I honestly don't think I will EVER buy another car from anywhere else! Stokes Kia is awesome and we had a wonderful experience thanks to Mr. Bernhard and Mr. Tucker! I bought by 2007 Rondo from Stokes Kia and had a good experience. Left town for a few years and switched to Kia Country when their Service Department seemed to go from interest in service to interest in selling.I recently stopped by on a Saturday to buy a small part because Kia Country was not open. Drove many miles to come and pick up the part on a recent Saturday. There was one guy way in the back of the parts department who was on the phone. He was ignoring me, so I yelled, "You Who". He raised his hand. Then he got off the phone and left by the back door.I was buying the part because I am about to give the car to a relative and buy a new one. You know, after-sale service is part of the deal. Except to go get a refund, I will never set foot in this dealership again. Whether this guy actually worked in the Parts Dept. or not, he represents Stokes Kia.BLEW IT, rude guy.

Though I moved out of the area after purchasing the car, I went back to Stokes for the first oil change and check. The staff is courteous and the facility clean and comfortable. As my daughter still lives in the Charleston area I will schedule my maintenance around my visits to her. I could go to much larger dealerships in the Jacksonville, SC area, but why bother? I know what I'm getting with Stokes and I will continue to bring my vehicle there for scheduled work.

Stokes Kia called me to inform me that there was a recall on the rims on my car. They said they already had replacements in stock and told me to come in any time to get them switched. I came in two days later and had the rims swapped with no problems. The service rep I worked with was courteous and professional. High marks for taking initiative to contact me to notify of the recall, getting me in asap, providing great service, and following up to make sure I was satisfied. I will caveat this review with the fact that I have not yet paid for any service on my car, so I cannot comment on their pricing. I have two years free scheduled maintenance.

After receiving a letter regarding a recall, I called and was given an appointment on the date I wanted. I am not proud to say I missed the appointment and called later that day apologizing. They were very gracious and scheduled me for the following day. Everyone was very friendly. I told them I was going to wait for my car and they said they would do it as soon as possible and much to my pleasure it did not seem very long before I was called and told "your car is ready". I have had all my check-ups and oil changes done at Stokes Kia and have been very happy with their service. I am very pleased with my car and have recommended Stokes Kia to friends who are car shopping.

All the work I have done on my 2011 Sorrento has been excellent. I especially appreciate the time the staff takes with the customers when the car is brought and when it is ready. I have had one major problem with the service and the manager made sure it was corrected and made sure I was satisfied. These are the reasons I refuse to take my car anywhere else but to this dealership. My previous Sorrento was purchase at another dealership in the area and I never received the level of quality service that I have received at Goose Creek.

I bought my Kia Soul! in 2010. The whole process was painless and I got the vehicle I wanted that same day. Now as for Stokes Kia service department, they are all top notch. I have had my oil changes done there, tire rotations and alignments. In addition I had some warranty work done pertaining to my steering wheel audio controls and a defective sub woofer. All were replaced no questions asked. I would recommend anyone shopping for a new vehicle or for maintenance to go to Stokes Kia in Goose Creek S.C.

My now fiancee' and I was talking about getting a soul. we found one we really loved. While we was looking around no one harassed us, The staff is friendly and great. We only use Mike Tucker when we are looking for a car. He is very professional sweet funny and very educated on the vehicles he sells. He remembers your name and speaks to you no matter where or when he sees you. Hes always a phone call away if we have a problem. I will never buy a car from anyone else. My Fiancee' and I purchased my dream car from him. he sat in the car with us after all the "business" was taken care of and he explained how to use a lot of the features in the car. The only problem we had was that the SD card for the Navigation system was stolen out of the car before it was shipped to stokes. They ordered me a new one and called me and kept me up to date on when i could come get it. They made me an appointment to have it put in. It was very professional. I could not be happier with my new purchase 2014 Kia Soul Plus. it was the only one on the lot like it. Thank you to Stokes Kia for making our car buying experiences easy fun and amazing. and a special thank you to mike tucker for being an amazing kind sales man who remembers his customers sends a hand written thank you card and calls to check on us from time to time to make sure we still love the car.

My husband and I went in there just to look and they talked my husband into a 2013 Kia Soul . Even though I didn't like the car and they were getting my car in for trade they treated me like I was crap, they were only interested in talking to my husband for they could see he was tired from work and they could talk him into anything . And that's exactly what they done they sold us a 2013 KIA Soul which had a Kelly Blue Book value of $15,000 and sold it to us for $19,000 on top of getting our 2006 Ford Focus then they rail road us into a high interest rate so the car ended up costing us $32,000. And it is only 7 months old and Kelly Blue book is $10,500 so in 7 months its depreciated $5,000. So Kia Souls are a money rip off ,And this company is awful and they are rude to wives if the wives seem to have any brains .

Michael was my service representative and did an outstanding job of keeping me informed every step of the way. I had an issue with one of my headlights, the service dept took my car to the back and within 20 minutes of being there (without an appointment) they had the problem fixed by replacing the whole lens cover!!! I brought my 2008 Kia Sedona to Stokes for a recall repair. It was a non-emergency situation, but they got us an appointment quickly. We liked the dealership and are happy with the work. The set up in the service department, however, is awkward. Upon entering the through the door marked "service", there is no designated place to check in. We saw 3 gentleman at desks, two of whom had customers with them. The third told us "they will be right with you." After standing around a few minutes (obviously in the way) we noticed a room with other people sitting down who appeared to be waiting. Our concern was that if we went and sat down without "checking in", that nobody would know we were waiting. After a few more minutes, one of the gentlemen who was previously with a customer asked if he could help us. He was very nice and got us on our way quickly. When we came to pick up the van, one gentleman was at his desk with a customer, so we went into the waiting room. While we were there, the other gentleman came back and sat down at his desk, which we could not see from the waiting room (and he could not see us). Another customer came in the door and he greeted her and asked how he could help her. That caused us to wait an extra 10 minutes to pick up our van while he helped her before us. Not a big deal, just something that could use improvement. Again, I liked the people and the service, and will continue to go to Stokes.

In the multi-point inspection done during our last service on our Sedona, the technician wrote a comment that the headlights were dim and burning out, recommending replacing both bulbs and further noting that the bulbs are melting the sockets. I don't know how you can tell a halogen bulb is burning out, as both still produced adequate light. Within a week the right headlight burned out and within two weeks the left headlight burned out. I replaced the bulbs myself and inspected the sockets carefully, finding no evidence of melting. The prediction of the headlight bulbs burning out seems too unlikely to be coincidental and that being coupled with the false statement that the sockets were being melted by the bulbs makes me suspicious of foul play. I mentioned this to the customer relations manager and she suggested discussing it with the service manager. I talked with the service manager the next time I was having service done on one of our other vehicles and he took the position of defending the technician. I wasn't all that concerned about replacing the bulbs, as they were 8 years old and not that expensive for me to replace myself. They should be replaced as a pair any way. However, I am concerned about the lack of integrity. I was just going to let it slide, but this lack of ethical behavior bothers me. A simple explanation or apology would have sufficed, but the excuses, such as I've seen this before, didn't satisfy me. Now, I'm being asked to bring in our Sedona so the service manager can inspect the vehicle and I'm not sure I want the service technician touching the headlight bulbs. Great care has to be taken with halogen bulbs, as oily deposits from skin contact or other sources can greatly reduce the life of the bulbs.

We knew that we would have to wait as most Saturdays are busy at the creek. It was cold outside, but hot coffee was ready to be sipped as we walked in at 8am. The service men acknowledged us and apologized for the wait even though we barely stood for five minutes before we were out the door. We got tires put on and they even replaced the brake light bulb.....and we came out cheaper than the original estimate. We asked for the car to be done by 4 and they called us by 2 to give us the confirmation that we were ready. Most places have salesmen pressuring you to trade in and get a new car, but Kia reps are very nice. I love my sportage and I love this pit crew who are ready to help anytime I call..... This is my 2nd vehicle from Stokes Kia......I'm sure I'll purchase a third in the next year or so.....

I recently bought a KIA Forte May 2013 from Chuck, it was easy to get a great price, they are fantastic! My engine light came on in the begining of December and I called the service dept. they fit me right in and went straight to work, they could not find the problem and asked me to come back the next day and they would give me something to drive so that I did not have to wait for them to get done. My son had put in E85 gas and that was the cause, it was not covered under my warranty and they explained everything to me so well and treated me like a person not just a girl with an engine light on, they actually cared enough to walk me through everything. I went in for one of my alignments (that I get for the life of the car, two a year) and after they finished, I had forgotten to get the tires rotated. I asked them to rotate the tires and they informed me about the timing belt scheduling. I knew I was overdue for a timing belt change. When I have to visit the repair shop it is always a very nice place to wait (Clean and comfortable). They have Coffe available all the time. They have a table outside of the waiting room that is great for tablets/work while you wait. They were exceptionally quick Friday 13, 2013, I barley had enough time to eat my breakfast sandwich. Michael Tucker is the most professional, no-BS, pressure-free car salesman I have ever met. I told him about the run-around another dealership was trying to put me through, and my already-backwards loan situation, and he worked with me to get me put in a car liked with a price tag I liked even more, with a super low interest rate. I really do like my 2013 SORENTO. Now I have the check engine light on. This is the 2nd time. Eric the service manager called me yesterday and asked that I bring my car Dec.4th and the engineers were coming in to check it out. I was very happy to hear this. Very pleased. I had received a coupon for an oil change and tire rotation and used it. It was a $34.95 oil change and tire rotation then the added charges of getting rid of the old oil, taxes and whatever else was added in bringing it to $40. They have always done well with the exception that this is the first dealer I have purchased a car from that did not wash the car when it was serviced. When I ask for them to wash it, their response is usually, "If there is someone back there to wash it and they have time, we'll try". I buy new cars every three years for myself and my wife and this is the first dealer in the last 12 years that doesn't do it. Out of the four times I have had it in there they have washed it twice, and one of those times, they made it seem like a real bother. But relative to the oil change and tire rotation, it was done in an hour and the price was reasonable. And this time they were able to get it in the next day. Last time I called, they couldn't get it in for a week. Really? A whole week for an oil change? Needless to say, I was able to get it done somewhere else and for less than they could do it(I didn't have any coupons for Stokes). Then when I tried to email the email address they give you for the service manager for, "all your servicing needs" the email came back as undeliverable. And it wasn't a typo on my part as I cut and pasted the email address. I have tried emailing different times thinking it may have been a glitch but it always comes back. The address I get in the service emails is, "edambaughatstokeskia.com".

The car I was wanting, a red 5 door Rio, had to be delivered from a neighboring state's dealer due to there being very few in the region, which in itself was not a problem. The problem, however, was that both dealerships overlooked key problems with the car surface. There was a good dent on the top rim, with the start of rusting. Along with that, there was a corner missing on the back passenger tail light. When I dropped off the car to be repainted, it took nearly two weeks to even hear back from them, and when I finally got it back, there was another slit of paint that could easily chip off and start more rust on the top rim of the car. Along with this, the car stutters at any speed below 30mph. It has currently been nearly a month, if not already, and I have only had my car for a total of 5 days.

My husband and I have done business with this dealership for going on 9 years and have never been disappointed. This is our third vehicle purchased here. We received a call a week or so ago that they were interested in purchasing back our 2012 Sorento. Given that my employment status has changed and the payments were becoming a burden, we were interested. They told me to be sure to talk to "Brooks Summers" when we arrived - even called the day before to confirm the appointment. When we arrived today and I asked for Brooks, we were informed that Brooks was not in, and had taken a few days off this week. I was annoyed. I wasn't sure if I should trust anybody else, since Courtney at the business office told me specifically that I must deal with Brooks. John caught me at the door, and caught my attitude when he told me Brooks wasn't in. I have quite the attitude when annoyed, and I later apologized for my display of said attitude. John was FANTASTIC. I told him what I was willing to pay for a vehicle after the trade in. I test drove one vehicle that I liked enough, but in the end (and after wasting a good hour on paperwork) the dealership was not able to make it happen. I explained to John that I was truly sorry to be a hassle, but I had to do what was best for my family, and my price point was firm. He was courteous and gracious and understood. We test drove a second vehicle that I absolutely fell in love with. It helped that my daddy happened to drive the same vehicle, and has a very special place in my heart ;). John didn't even flinch when I fell in love with something other than a Kia. The finance manager Mark was AMAZING with us, he made a whole lot of phone calls and by the grace of God, made it work. In the end, I fell in love with a vehicle AND they got me the price I was firm on. After THAT, I got to deal with the used car sales manager (also Mark, HYSTERICAL guy, fantastic and easy to talk to). We're military here and only have about another year in the area. We've been dealing with Stokes Kia since 2005 when we bought our first vehicle with them. I wish I could take Stokes Kia back to the west coast with me. I trust these guys, I love these guys, they have yet to let me or my family down. Good people, good dealing, good honest contracts. Go for it. You won't regret it.

They did not charge me for unneccessary repairs and even recommended I replace the rear passenger door handle using a body shop because it would be cheaper. I spent almost $1000 for what needed to be done and I felt he was honest and sincere in helping me with the issues.

I feel he took the time to really understand what I was looking for and then helped me weigh the options in a very sensible manner. I had been car shopping for a long time and when I came to stokes KIA dealership I was on the fence of actually getting a KIA or something else. I came in one afternoon and was greeted by Mark. Very down to earth, didn't feed a bunch of crap and I didn't feel pressured to buy anything. Though we test drove a KIA and after awhile things didn't go how I wanted them to, I came back the next day only to wait because the system was running slow. Mark's daughter came to the job we chatted in the midst of us chatting I came across the car I wanted! The color, style, and the other things I was looking for was in my Chevy. I had already owned a Chevy but I was very into the Cruze that they had on their lot. I came back to Mark and said look I know I won't get the car I want but if you can get me in that car I will be happy. In about 10 min they had me in my car. I was very happy with the outcome and because Mark was so helpful I was very impressed by their service that I came to work and told everyone about it! Best car buying experience to date. My salesman was Chuck Meyer. I found him to be very knowledgeable, friendly & upfront. I feel he took the time to really understand what I was looking for and then helped me weigh the options in a very sensible manner. Even more important to me is that Chuck really respected my stated budget and I never felt pressured or like I was getting the "hard sell". I ended up leaving with a great new vehicle that met both my needs and wants without exceeding my budget!Every staff member I interacted with was friendly and professional. I highly recommend Stokes Kia. As for Chuck, I give him an 11 out of 10 and recommend him without hesitation or reservation!

We made a good choice when we decided to look for a vehicle at stokes Kia. My boyfriend and I were looking to purchase a second vehicle. We were immediately greeted in the parking lot by Duffy. We immediately gravitated towards the Kia rio and Duffy did not hesitate to get us a test drive. He went through a thorough explanation of the vehicle inside and out. So thorough in fact that we had no additional questions to ask. The dealership had gotten quite busy while we were there so it took a minute to get to the finance office. Duffy and the sales manager chatted with us and were being very apologetic and courteous about our long wait. Sales manager even offered to buy us dinner! The best customer service My boyfriend and i have seen from a car dealership in a long time. I'm a waitress and my boyfriend is a bartender and we are absolutely delighted to give them our business and will do so again in the near future.

I had an 07 Sportage which I purchased from another dealership. it was due for an oil change and that dealership would not do it because I did not have an appointment. I work in the construction industry and its hard to make appointments because I'm at work before the sun comes up and I work past 5 or 6 pm most days, except when it rains. On August 30, 2013 I called Stokes Kia and asked if they could fit me in for the oil change and they said yes of course. I had dealt with the service department about a month prior when my Sportage had a recall issue, and they fixed the issue with no questions asked. They were friendly and had me rolling again very quickly. While I was waiting I was just looking around at the inventory. Ms. Evon started talking with me. I let her know that I did not have any money to put down and that my credit score was not very good. She still took the time to get my information to see what she could do. Well four hours later, they found a bank that would work with me and I only had to put down $500 for a 2013 Optima in the color that I wanted. I had to wait till Friday to pick it up because it had not made it to the dealership yet and they gave me a rental while I waited for MY car. I got there to pick up my car and it had been checked over, washed, and filled with gas and was ready for me. Would I go back to Stokes Kia or recommend them to my family and friends? YES YES YES I would.

Brought my car in because the light came on for low tire pressure. They checked my tires and put air in the ones that needed it. There was no charge, It appears my tires lost pressure when the temperature dropped from 97 to 65 over night. I love the service department in Goose Creek, SC. I have been taking my Kia Optima there for 6 years. Friendly, courteous, respectful. They are the best.

I drove in with a nail in the side of left rear tire. I was greeted promptly and courteously. My vehicle was taken back quickly, all tires checked, and was told it was indeed only that tire that needed replacing, and they had to get the tire from their warehouse but within a couple of hours, I was back on the road. This is consistent with service I've received here in the past.

It seems Redbank in Goose Creeks loves my tires as they seem to attract the screws, nails, spikes and any other items in the roadway. I call Stokes Kia service department and tell them I am on my way and fix it within an hour. Love the fast and efficient service. Excellent job! Worst car buying experience in my lifeIm retired military and decided to utilize the highly trusted company USAAs car buying service because I dont like haggling at dealerships.I was contacted by email from Whitney of Stokes Kia in Goose Creek SC.She gave me a USAA price of $23,497 (out the door, tax title and fees) for a Kia Sorento with 3rd row seat, no packages. The price was so low, I asked for a price with the convenience package. I was then contacted by Dennis, Whitneys manager by phone. He told me that he would honor the USAA price quoted and would also throw in the convenience package and color I wanted, since he has a connection with the port that he bragged to me about. That was on Saturday evening. When I called back a few hours later with my credit card in hand, I was told I would have to wait until Monday, since the port was closed. I was promised a call first thing Monday morning from Dennis himself. Monday came and went. Monday evening, I emailed Whitney and asked if they forgot about me. She told me that they couldnt find the Sorento I was looking for and that if they did, the price would go up over $1,300.00 due to changes in rebates recently. Moments later, I received an email from another Kia dealership in the same area informing me that they found 2 Sorentos with the color and options, exactly that I asked for! I asked this dealer if the rebates changed and they said nope, they all still apply. How weird is that? Well folks, its a scam to get you on the hook. When I contacted Stokes Kia General Manager, Garret Cash by email, I informed him how disappointed I was with the service Id received. I asked him to contact me. I never heard back from him. The following day, I was contacted by Dennis, who I asked Garret not to contact me because of how he treated me. Dennis spoke to me like nothing happened. He told me he had no idea where the numbers that Whitney quoted me came from, but that they were way off. He gave me another set of numbers. Well, this price was even higher than the second price they gave me. The price kept going up. He asked me to think about it and give him a call back on his personal cell. He reminded me that the price was rock bottom and they would actually be losing money. I asked him if Garret told him about the email I sent him and he said yes and thats why he called. Then Whitney had the gall to call me the next day and ask when I wanted to come in for a test drive. I asked her where the numbers she quoted me came from and she told me they came from Dennis himself. Then she told me they came from Garret. Wow, they throw each other under the bus. This is bad business. However, Kia of Charleston went out and got the vehicle I wanted and had it waiting for me the next day. Now thats service! It was the exact vehicle I asked Stokes for but, it had $500.00 of extras and it was still $100.00 less than Stokes rock bottom, losing money price. Stokes is a joke! After all of this I contacted GM Garret again, he never responded. This is a horrible way to treat customers especially military veterans. Thank goodness for folks like Kia of Charleston!

Overall is was a great shopping experience. This is the second Kia I've gotten from Stokes. There was no push to select a car and the Kristi Drinnon was very knowledgeable. My new Sportage was detailed and filled with gas while I filled out the paperwork. Kristi then took the time to go over the interior gadgets, show me how to work the UVO and sink my phone to it. At the same time, my Sedona was in the service center for what was diagonised as a cam shaft sensor, fixed and returned!

My Kia Optima's check engine light came on a month or so ago and I made an appointment at the Goose Creek Kia Dealership where I had purchased my car the year before. The service department ran some diagnostics and found the sensor the monitors the temperature of the transmission fluid had a history of coming on but was currently working. I was advised by Michael that if it were to come on again I would need to have it replaced and that the transmission would have to be dropped to replace this sensor. Well about four weeks later the check engine light came back on and did not go off. I called Stokes Kia service department and let them know and the appointment to have it fixed. The service department brought me to work and picked me up at the end of the day. My car was fixed it has been running great. Working with Michael was a pleasure.

We love this dealership... We live closer to another Kia dealership, but decided to go to this one last year when we were in need of a new car.. We ended up buying a 2011 Soul, then 2 weeks later, traded in another car, and went back to buy a 2010 Soul. We are now known by friends and family as The Soul Family! I shopped around before I bought "the one" and everywhere else I went I got snarky comments because I knew what I was looking for ... the other dealers even told me I couldnt find one that specific. Then I went to Stokes Kia and Chuck helped me. As soon as I told him what I wanted he said "We dont have one, but I will find you one ... and we will go get it for you" ... Since I bought my car on a friday afternoon I had to wait a tad longer to get my car. I received it on Monday, but I am not complaining one bit. I didnt even have to pay to have them go get it. They worked hard to get me the best financing and best rate out there. I am more then pleased with this experience and I love cruising around in my new 2014 White Sorento SX !! Thanks Chuck :)

A few months ago I took my Rio in for service to check out the heater cutting off. They told me there were leaves in the cage area. I was driving home and the heater cut off again. I called the service department and was told that if I brought my car in again it would be subject to service charges (my car is still under warrenty), that I COULD NOT WAIT for my car because it would take at least a day to find the problem, that I would have to duplicate the problem I was having for them to try to find the cause or they could not take the time to check it out. I drove the car for a few months dealing with the problem and as things got worse decided I had to have it fixed. I called for an appointment and the guy (I think his name was Eric) was once again rude. So I called Kia Country of Charleston. Matt was very professional and courteous. I was told he thought it would take an hour or so to find the problem. Since he was so nice I decided to have the timing belt changed (too bad for you Stokes KIa) and also had 6 bulbs replaced. Four hours later all the work was done and Matt determined that the panel with all the heater switches was bad and would gladly order the part and since it was under my warrenty there would be no charge. So, Kia Stokes I guess you just did not want to make the repair since it was under warrenty. Or you just didn't want to waste time on my problem. Whatever the reason, due to your rudeness I found a much better dealership. I am having my 60000 mile transmission work done there and when I am ready for my next Kia I will go to Kia Country of Charleston. Oh yes, one more thing. I was talking to my insurance agent who owns a Kia and she told me she had a similar experience at Stokes and have heard other stories as well. Guess what....now you have one more Kia owner out there spreading the word to stay clear of Stokes Kia.

While visiting many dealers looking for a vehicle to tow behind a motorhome we stopped at Stokes Kia. We told them that we were looking for a 2wd to tow on all 4's (we know that they make them because we have researched and asked other owners) One very arrogant salesman told us that there was no such thing and the warranty would NOT cover any vehicle towed that way. He is very wrong and should do his research before answering. We purchased a new $31,000 Honda CRV later that day. He was not at all helpful and this branch is owned by the same company......missed a sale!

At the beginning of November, I traded my car in at Stokes KIA. After purchasing a car from Stokes, my wife and I weren't exactly happy with the new car. We just didn't like the way it drove. Yes, we did test drive it, but at the time, we figured it was just a simple matter of getting used to it, which we could not. We decided we'd like to return the vehicle. We only had the car for a couple of days. I tried and tried to get someone and anyone to work with me on the matter over the next two weeks. And everyone I spoke to, from the salesman on up, they just kept "passing the buck" to the next guy and the next. I suggested that I'd like to return the car and simply take my trade-in home and just go our "separate ways." The sales manager told me that the only person who could make this decision was the GM, Garret Cash. So, I set up an appointment to speak with him, and after he heard my case, he told me to simply "have a good day." Also, after looking at the paperwork on the KIA, my wife and I found that there was a package included on the car that we did NOT ask for, nor did we want. Stokes did a dealer trade for the model we bought which was supposed to be a Base model with a specific color, which they didn't have on the lot. And the model they got for us, came with this package, which they neglected to explain when signing the paperwork when I picked-up the car. The salesman told me he had the package put on the car as a "thank you" for my purchase, but never said there was a charge for the package. Again, we tried to bring this to their attention, and got nowhere fast. So, out of principal, i took the KIA to another dealership where I've bought cars from in the past, and traded it in, even though I was a little upside down at this point. I simply did what I had to do to no longer have to deal with this dealership. I'll just chalk this up as a "lesson learned." I'll be sure to steer any friend or family away from Stokes KIA.

I would not recommend this dealer to anyone. They first told me that the 2010 kia forte with 35000 miles on it (I bought it in may 2011) was gonna be $16000 but then we got them to lower it to $15000 because I really loved the color and the car. Well after everything was said and done I looked back at my papers and they put it back up to $16000. Now I look at their website and they have a 2011 forte for $14000 with the same amount of miles. The sad part is I could have gone to Kia Country and got one for a $1000 more with 25000 less miles on it. Never will shop there again, or have them do anything with my car. Also the map mirror was broken and took it in and they did replace it but with one for a sunroof forte.

First off, Stokes Kia in Goose Creek does not want business too bad. The GM told us maybe we should just come back in a few months when we were ready to buy a car now. Goose Creek Kia obviously has some problems within. I was contacted by the internet sales lady and said I would come in. I told her about my trade in and she said they are in need of good trade ins and are offering $1500 over KBB. She never said anything about the rebate they currently were running for certain competitors. I came in and did the test drive, got the price that I wanted and tried to get a little more for my trade mentioning what the lady said on the phone. I was told by Tom Caminiti, sounding like a car salesman, "Ah, they will tell you anything to get you in here. If we had known that we would have offered you this much and then gave you $1500." So I left and called back to see if there was anything else we could do. I was told the GM would call. He never called, but we called the internet sales lady and told her what happened. She confirmed again that they are offering more for trade ins and she could not believe what was said. She told us the GM would call. By 5 PM the GM had not called yet, so we called and was told he had left for the night. We called the internet sales lady again and she said there were some issues going on someone will call. The GM finally called and said they were offering $1500 extra on some trades and apologized for what was said. He told us that the salesman had some issues going on in his life and so on. He said he would call back with a deal. His call back was maybe we should wait a few months. The good people at Kia Country on Savannah Highway welcomed me with open arms and worked to find a deal for me. If you are in the market for a new car, I would recommend avoiding the Goose Creek Kia until they get their issues ironed out. They do have a very catchy commercial, but I would go to Kia Country on Savannah Highway in Charleston.

All three of the gentlemen I worked with at Stokes Kia were great. Qasem entertained my twelve-year old while we waited with Kia hamster commercials and funny tv shows. He was extremely personable.Jason Leming was quick and efficient - the most efficient credit transaction I've ever had. Perry Hardin was SUPER friendly, and went the extra mile to help me out in a specifically odd situation. All in all, a wonderful staff and a wonderful experience. I haven't dealt with the service department yet, but I'm willing to bet they will be just as awesome.

This weekend my family and I were greeted by a friedly, courteous sales person (Michael Tucker) when we pulled up to Stokes Kia. He was very professional, courteous, and knowledgeable, as well as he has a sense of humor. We apprecitate his patience with all of our questions, and our 2 year old son, who was being all boy, if you know what I mean. We are greatful for having the pleasure to have Mr. Tucker guide us through our Kia buying experience, which was second to none. I had to buy a new car because the car I bought from this dealership was a lemon and I exceeded miles required to qualify for lemon law. The car was at the dealership's service dept more than it was in my possession this entire summer! The vehicle would lose acceleration the esc would turn off and check engine light turn on and the car would not accelerate past 35mph. This would happen at random all the time. Which is not the service depts fault..but they did attempt to fix the problem a lot this summer withh no avail. The last time it happened I brought the car in and sat down with the general manager and the service manager they said they would work with me and gave me a great deal! It was late I wasnt ready to make a decision so I went home and headed out for vacation the next day. When I came back the general manager no longer worked for the dealership I was told they would honor the deal i made with the general manager. When I went in I sat down with the sales manager and he did not work with me. He was not easy to work with and he was rude. He told me that the general manager I made the deal with no longer worked at stokes and that I would be working with him now! I was shocked at how I was being treated after all that I had been through this summer. They didn't want to work with me, I was Another sale to them. I asked them to give me my keys to my sorento and went somewhere else which was a much more pleasant experience! When I left the dealership I noticed my gas light turned on...I brought my car in with at least a half of tank of gas and they give it back to me on empty! Wow. I am amazed at how well I was treated here!

The dealer gave me no issues on my trade in, and gave me a good trade in value. I was in and out of the dealership within 2 hours, driving home my new Kia Soul. Fantastic place all around. I went there on 4/30 and bought a new Forte Koup SX, and then two days later my wife bought a new Forte four door. From my first meeting with Nick it was wonderful. He is a great salesperson that doesn't pressure you like most places. Everyone there up to the General Manager was spectacular. I would rate these guys as the number 1 spot to buy a new Kia. This is not your mothers Kia, they have got some of the best cars on the market. Again thank you Stokes Kia for a great experience and you will be my next stop when it's time to buy again.

I stopped by this dealership because I was looking for a used 2010 mazda6 I saw advertised online, unfortunately it was on the summerville lot but Ed Wallace greeted us with a huge smile and was so personable I decided I'd give Kia a chance. My 12 year old civic had finally seen it's better days and I was ready to buy something THAT day and if anyone deserved a sale it was Ed, he was wonderful!The reason for my review is because of the finance department. The man that came out to assist us didn't even shake our hands and basically acted like we were wasting his time, I asked him what he could do for us with price and I told him what I had calculated and he literally laughed at me and told me I could never get the car I was looking at for the price I wanted. I was very offended and finally ended up telling him that he was being very rude and I am a paying customer so he should treat me like I meant something. He went to crunch some numbers and came back with another price out of our budget so my fiancee asked what he could do for us if we were willing to trade HIS car too and get a brand new sportage; he told my fiancee he wasn't doing ANYTHING more for us with the price on my car and told my fiancee he could do whatever he wants with his car but we wouldn't be able to get my payment down any cheaper.. Needless to say I finally flat out said that I was finished with them and I wanted to go back to Hudson Nissan in North Charleston to see Mikey who had tried to help me back in Sept of 2010 when I originally first started looking and researching!Ed came out and tried to calm my nerves and I told him how rude the finance department was and even with $5,000 down they weren't willing to work with me EVEN after we were willing to buy TWO brand new cars! Ed said he would get his general manager to call me and they would personally help us the next day, I told him I was going to Nissan to look at the car I originally wanted and I was very unhappy it wasn't him it was basically every other employee that looked at us as if we couldn't afford their cars. The very Next day we went to Hudson Nissan of North Charleston and asked for Mikey, he let me look and I told him what had happened the night before; I also told him my cap off of what I wanted to spend and you know what, we drove off that lot in a brand new 2011 altima coupe with only 33 miles on it. The funny thing is, the altima was listed at almost the SAME price as the Kia Optima but their finance department and staff worked their magic and got me the deal I was looking for and got me the payment I could afford. We are actually buying an SUV from Nissan as well. In this economy EVERY SALE COUNTS.Don't judge a book by it's cover and just because someone doesn't LOOK like they can afford something doesn't mean they REALLY can't afford it.

This by far was the absolute best experience my husband and I have ever had purchasing a new vehicle. Qasem Qasem, was our sales guy, and he was awesome. Showed us all the awsome features, super friendly, and we did not feel like we were getting ripped off. We explained what we wanted to get from the 2011 Kia Sorrento, and he showed us all of those features and more. Answered every question we had, and was extremely knowledgable about all of the vehicles. The sale went quickly, we did not have to sit there for 6 hours like you do at other dealerships. They were very fair with what we had to bring to the table, more than fair. We got a good deal. The customer service by everyone was awesome. The best I have seen in a long time. We liked our 2007 Sorrento, but Love the 2011 one. I would recommmend Kia and Qasem Qasem to all of my friends. We were just happy with our overall experince. We had not planned to actually buy when we stopped to look, so our car was full of stuff, they even helped us move it to the new car. Our sales guy Qasem Qasem even let me ask questions about where he is from, what it's like to live there, nosy questions that i asked. He did not mind at all. Even let me take his pen. This groups is great, and when it is time to buy another car, we will definitely be back. You get a lot a bells and whistles for the price. Compared to GM cars, to get the same bells and whistles would cost a fortune. The car has a smooth ride, and I just could not be any happier. Thank You Qasem Qasem, and thank you to the general manager (sorry forgot his name, as well as the finance guy). Kia is very lucky to have all of them working for their company. After the experience we had, they all deserve a raise, especially Qasem Qasem. Thanks Again.

Because from the time I walked onto the lot and through the whole process of looking at several makes and models I was never pressured into buying a vehicle or vehicles. I will recommend Stokes KIA to my friends and relatives. I have been a Toyota owner for several years and thought it was the only vehicle to own, but they have changed my mine. Another thing that I was impressed with was the Store manager and what a great job he did for us when my wife and I decided to buy two vehicles the same day vice one.

This was by far the easiest car purchase I have ever had. I went here because I heard an advertised price for a Rio on the radio. I was skeptical going in, and thought it was a gimmick to get me into the dealership. I was wrong. They had the Rio at the advertised price. It was a steal and well below competitors. There was no haggling or anything. From the time I walked into the dealer to the time I drove off in my new car, was only about an hour. We were very impressed with the professionalism, courtesy, knowledge, and honesty of my primary salesperson, David McAlister, and this can be said about Mr Cash as well as others at the dealership that we had contact with.
