I went to Stuart Powell since it was a dealership that came highly recommended from several friends and family. I purchased a used car, immediately had something go wrong with it, in which they fixed. Though it took almost a week for something that we had been advised should take at most an hour. I was told I would be given updates on the progress of the work...they never called. I always had to call them, and no one seemed to know what was going on. Finally, got the car back, another light came on. However, I didn't take it back to them...I simply didn't want to deal with the confusion and phone tag that I had played beforehand. I sucked up the cost on the repair myself and made it. It was nothing major, just a small sensor, something that should have been covered by them since I had just got the car back from them after owning it for 24 hours...but after my last experience I simply didn't want to wait a week to get my car back. I was rather disappointed in all the events that happened when I purchased my vehicle. They apologized for the issues, and while I appreciate the apology, it did not seem to change their behavior. I have purchased cars from several lots in the area, but I can say that I would not go back to Stuart Powell, and I am hesitant to recommend them as many did to me. Those who recommended Stuart Powell to me are very apologetic, as they said that my experience was not the Stuart Powell they knew. Perhaps it was my salesman, maybe the dealership was upset that we did not finance our car with them, or whatnot. I would not go back...

Speaking as an insurance agent, the process was easy and the staff at the collision center was always courteous and helpful. As the mother of the customer, I was very happy with the way they kept my son in the loop during the process. The repairs were amazing, it was impossible to tell that the vehicle had ever had any damage. The vehicle was a 2012 Mustang Cobra GT and required extra attention to every detail including the requirement for only genuine and new Ford parts. The collision center managed to do everything that was needed to put the vehicle back in new condition. Their advice and help during the process was invaluable. I highly recommend using the Collision Center at Stuart Powell for repairs.

We are so very impressed with all facets of this dealership. I was a life-long GM owner until we bought our new MKX from Stuart Powell. We had shopped GM and Chrysler and were not "sold" for various reasons. We then went to SP and were amazed. It was like back to the future in that the dealership floor is filled with classic cars that belonged to Stuart and his family. That was our first clue that something was different here. Then we met our sales person, Ron Long. What a gentleman. It was like being transported back to a kinder gentler age. We test drove a couple of cars and agreed that we would get back to them after we finished our research. This is where Jamie Huybers their Internet Manager comes into play. I put in a request for some more info and Jamie got back to me very quickly. We emailed back and forth several times as it was easier to communicate with her than to wait for a call back from Ron since he is a busy fellow. So, we went back to SP and drove the MKX, loved it and then had about a 10 minute sales process. At the end, we had a deal and were told that we could pick up the car the next day. We went in, did the paperwork with Chris the Financial Manager and we were done. On the way out we met Mr. and Mrs. Powell who were the most gracious people we have met in a long time. Bottom Line, this is a great dealership with incredible people and an atmosphere of "family". We are ecstatic with our new MKX and with our new dealer home.

We have purchased 4 trucks and 3 personal vehicles from Stuart Powell and their service has never been anything less than exceptional. Their service department also takes care of our vehicles, they have a great crew and take great care of us!

Kay Ethington has always been a very helpful salesperson. I have bought several call at Stuart Powell Ford with Kay's assistance. She alway gave me the best deal possible. Also customer service are always very helpful when I need my oil changed on my lunch hour. I really like the FastLube.

My husband and I just bought a 2014 Ford Explorer. This was our first time to do business with Stuart Powell Ford. Our previous Ford dealer, whom we had used for years, was no longer open due to the owner's death. We had worried about finding a new dealer and whether we would have the same good experience as with our previous dealer. We were not disappointed. All the staff was friendly and helpful, and we really liked our sales person. He was low key, friendly, and worked very hard to find us the vehicle we wanted. I was so happy with the experience, that I have brought my 2009 Ford truck to them for my routine service. We have found our Ford dealer!

I was very pleasantly surprised by the customer attention provided. My sales rep, Larry McWhorter was very informed and helpful in the buying process. Chris Miller, fianancing, was extreamly helpful as well. Both associates demostrated their experience by making this process very pleasant. I certainly would recommend Stewart Powell to any of my associates.

As an out of state customer it is our first purchase from Stuart Powell in KY. We bought the vehicle unseen - only by the pictures and description advertised - conditional to our satisfaction upon seeing the vehicle. Our questions were answered professionally during our first phone call and a deal sealed with a virtual hand shake. We drove several hours to see our tentative purchase. Our chosen vehicle stood ready waiting for us in its finest as we arrived. It exceeded our expectations. The paper work as well as customer service was handled professionally and super friendly. This is the fifth vehicle we have bought at Stuart Powell and the fourth from David Wix. Whether to look at vehicles or for service, visiting is going to see trusted friends.No high pressure, no up-selling or other shady tactics. I feel we are respected here and our business appreciated. Not that we haven't had the occaisonal problem with a car. But when we have everyone works together to help us come to a fair resolution up to and including owners Stuart and Patty Powell.
