Very nice, accommodating staff. They didn't have the car I wanted when I first went in, but Harez called me the next day to say they would be receiving exactly the car I wanted within the week. As a first time leasee, it was nervous about leasing a car. So it wasn't just going in a getting a car. It was all about the complete experience for me! I walked into the dealership not knowing what I wanted and Donell took the reins to narrow down my choose based on my preferences. He was patient with me throughout the process and answered all of my 101 questions. Once I was qualified for the car, picking it up was breeze. He went over all the features of the car, faxed over documents to my insurer, and made sure I was ok. He even followed up with a courtesy call the next day to make sure everything was ok with the car. I am very happy with my experience of getting my first car! I had a truly wonderful car buying experience at Sunrise VW. From the moment I decided to return my leased 2013 Golf and buy a new 2016 Classic Silk Blue Beetle, I was treated with the respect and consideration that every car buyer deserves. Greg took his time and explained ever detail about the car and the financing steps. He was also very patient as he showed me the trim level on the 2016 Classic Beetle and accompanied me on a 10 minute test drive of the vehicle.Once I decided to buy the car, we were able to schedule an appointment with Ray, the Financial Officer, where Greg also spent time explaining the finance and maintenance options. As a Financial Officer, Ray was also very impressive. HIs calm demeanor and professionalism immediately set me and my mother at ease, as car buying can often be a nerve-wracking and stressful experience. Ray was extremely informative and patient while I asked many questions about the financing and maintenance plans. Ray was kind, compassionate and informative. This is the 2nd car I've bought/leased from Sunrise in the last 2 years, and have had very good experiences both times. Randy was very helpful in answering all of my questions, and found the Golf SportWagen I wanted from another dealer very quickly. Also, instead of upselling me on the higher SE trim, he directed me to the LE trim that was a better value for what I was looking for. I am very happy with my car and the price I paid. Ray (the finance guy) is a class act -- he was very transparent and a pleasure to deal with. Side note: the bagels are good too.

I met with Greg the moment I walked into the dealership. Right away I told him that there is a car on the lot that I am interested in that I have seen on the website. Right away Greg knew what car I was talking about and offered me a seat in his office while he confirms that he has it. Because I have trouble walking, Greg always offered to get me coffee or water or anything I wanted. He first went over the car with me, the extras that it contains and the accessories I can get. I told him what I wanted in the car, and he made sure he was able to have it for me. Not once did I feel pressured when it came to signing the deal, he went through everything first and made sure I was comfortable with everything. He always kept me in the loop when trying to transfer the title of my old car to him. He was on the phone with banks and businesses for hours trying to resolve the title issue. When it came time to pick up my new car he made sure the car was 100% clean. He then sat with me in the car and showed me everything the car has to offer, he also showed me how everything works and always asked if I had any questions. Not once did he rush to show me everything. From beginning to the very end he always reminded me that I have his #, and if I have any questions to just give him a call. I haven't bought a car in 10 years, and Greg made my experience comfortable and pleasant.

I give this VW dealership, Harez, and Ray two thumbs up. Being a woman looking for a car with a little car knowledge it can be overwhelming. I came in looking for a lease VW Beetle convertible. Then I drove it, not once, but twice, top and top down on a cold night. Harez was a great sport !We went over some quick numbers and I left. A few days later my now 14 yr. old car needs some repairs, that I did not want to sink money into. So with that I wanted to buy . Harez answered all my questions, went over numbers. A few days later I spoke to Ray who did some magic, signed paperwork, and off I drove.I notice my top protector had sticky stain on it that would not wash off. I called Harez he said no problem I'll order you a new one, soon after I picked it up.No problem. Would HIGHLY recommend!!!

I did not feel pressured or overwhelmed by the usual haggling that can occur. Harez is a good salesman and usually I'm annoyed after going to get a car but this was a pleasant experience. I recently purchased a 2016 VW Golf GTI from Sunrise VW. Before I even began to negotiate, Harez made me a great offer on my trade-in and gave me a very good price on the car. Through out the entire process, he was courteous, knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable, which usually doesn't happen for me in a dealership. I was in the dealership for about 30 minutes and three days later I picked up my new car that Harez had located for me. Harez took care of everything from insurance to all the paper work. There were no hidden fees, or any additional costs. Everything was straight forward and exactly as he said. He even called me few days after my purchase to follow up on how the car was. Within minutes of submitting my information, Max called to set up a test drive appt. Greg is the man! He was honest, knew a lot about the VW Touareg and was willing to help. What made this experience even better was that Greg called the next day to see how l like the Touareg! Never had a dealership do that in the past. Ray is a straight forward person. I purchased a pre certified VW Bug convertible here last year and have encounter nothing but frustration with the dealership. The general management is unresponsive and beware of any service contacts offered. For example my car had only 5,000 miles of it at the time of purchase though it was 2 years old. The service contact which came with the preowned vehicle clearly stated 1 year or 10,000 miles. When I went for the 10,000 mile service (at a different Vw dealership closer to my home) I was told the first service had been already used. The absurd explanation I was given by the GM Ron Merrow was the the car had its one year service when after one year (it had been owned by the Sunrise dealership - so they pocked the money) Despite countless calls and emails Mr Merrow has done nothing to rectify the dishonest ... fraudulent action on the part of the dealership. And, there is more! Too much for this venue Beware of this dealership!!!!

Greg was very informative, quick, and easy.There was zero pressure and the typical sales pitch was never introduced into the conversation.I was in and out in a little over an hour, including the test drive. Made a return visit later in the afternoon to purchase the car, which took 30 minutes. I made an offer-we went back and forth three times; came to an agreement that I was well satisfied with and return two days later to pick up the car.Also worth noting: the typical aggressive finance manager in the back room that attempts to sell you every additional warranty under the sun was anything but that (His name is Ray-he is new). Simply walked into signed the forms and that was it. Amazing.Totally recommend a visit. Come with a budget price and stick to it and you'll be surprised.

My service at Sunrise VolksWagen Inc. on Jluy 27, 2015 for factory recall and service was horrible. I purchased my 2013 Jetta at the same dealership on December 5, 2012. For the entire two years and six months my tires were never rotated. I complained about it severally and was told to bring it another time as the service department has closed. On my last visit on July 27, 2015; both for recall and service, the service manager and the front desk manager argued like pocket lawyers why they would not replace my tail light bulb and rotate my tires which they have consistently failed to rotate. Some of their arguments include my car is 5 miles past the warrantee and VolksWagen does not cover those simple tasks despite the fact it has not received the final 10,000 mile service. The Manager, according to the Front Desk Clerk said their business with my 2013 terminates on exceeding limited warrantee mileage by 1 mile or after three years. My car is only 2 years 6 months.Hey Sunrise Volkswagen Inc. I am pissed, I am not alone since another customer shared the same experience with me. I am better off driving 20 miles to New Jersey or somewhere than taking the insulting argument and debate with your pocket lawyers called service managers.On my prior service in 2014, my fluids (washer, brake, and coolant) were not refilled or replaced, wiper blades were not inspected, and tires never rotated. Please work on improving your service as a dealer and customer relationship or public relations even if you do not intend to provide the service as a dealership..Thanks,Ezutah

When we first went there, we weren't really thinking to get a VW, it was just one of the brands in our list. Harez greeted us at the entrance and we let him know we were considering a Tiguan, but still up in the air. That didn't discourage him from explaining how it's a solid German car that stands out from competition. It was the first dealer we were visiting as well and so even though the deal they offered was looking good, we weren't ready to commit. Harez still took the time to take us for a test drive which ended up convincing us this is the car we want. From negotiation to delivery, we are really impressed by the professionalism and dedication to customer service from Harez and will absolutely recommend him and this dealership to anyone looking for a new VW.

I don't often write reviews but when I do it generally means that i'm passionate about the product I purchased or the service I received. Sunrise VW has taken the "pain and suffering" OUT of buying a new car. From the moment I walked into the dealership, I was treated with respect. I met Greg Spiciati who walked me through the entire purchase from road test to insurance set up to attaching my new plates. What I really appreciated was that nobody tried to "upsell" me on the trim I was interested in buying. Greg did a wonderful job explaining the differences between the two trim levels I inquired about and ultimately helped me feel extremely secure in my decision. When I had to move on to the finance dept, Lenny Orlov did a fantastic job at continuing the quality of service that began with Greg. He didn't try to coerce me into purchasing anything I didn't want to, which by the way, has happened with other dealerships. The whole paperwork process was completely easy and dare I say enjoyable. The most important point I wish to make about Greg and Sunrise VW is that when they tell you what your down payment will be, that is what your down payment will be. They include the taxes, fees, etc. from the beginning so there are no surprises later on. I am extremely happy with my new car and I will most definitely be a customer with Sunrise VW in the future. This is my first VW I have ever purchased and from the experience with this dealer alone, I know it will not be my last.

Mr. Leveille was excellent as a sales person. He knew the vehicles and what he was talking about. His overall performance was exceptional. He went out of his way to make the transaction smooth.However, the finance guy, was less than perfect, as earlier noted. I was also disappointed that a 'loaner' wasn't available as a courtesy of buying from this dealership, unlike several other auto makers, also noted earlier. The driver, my son...God forbid ...may have a problem in Suffolk county, and upon leaving the car for service would really need a courtesy, which is not available on this 'certified' vehicle. I've been extended this courtesy from Honda, BMW, even the cars were out of warranty and not bought from that dealer. That is my idea of standing behind your product! They will expect a fee after, I believe, the third day, but by then alternative arrangements may be made. I'll reserve comment on your 'deductible.'

I generally associate car shopping with some of the more unpleasant experiences in life - somewhere between a root canal and a tax audit, so I was quite caught off guard by the very positive experience we had at Sunrise VW. Our Sales Advisor, Donell J. Richardson stands out as a consummate professional whose infectious charm made the whole process completely painless. We were also pleased with our interaction with Sunrise VW's finance man, Lenny Orlov, whose positive demeanor put us at ease with the dollars & cents aspect of the transaction. Our last car met with a tragic end and we ended up at Sunrise because of a scheduling mix-up. I can only hope that more of life's mishaps will end this well. I walked into Sunrise VW dealership at 8:00 PM on Friday December 12, 2014 my in tensions were to look for a preowned Tiguan or Passat at a good price. Beside this dealer I had made appoints with three other VW dealers for that weekend. I signed up to purchase a new 2014 Tiguan that very night with Dudley at Sunrise. From the time we walked into the dealer and throughout the process Dudley's service, along with his colleagues Max, Bill and Lenny were excellent. As a sale representative, Dudley is very knowledgeable, provide clear and detail information about the vehicles, answered all Of our questions, and worked with Bill to get us the best price for the vehicle of my choice and there was no pressure on us to purchased any vehicle. He walked us through the features and explained how to operate the vehicle it was like having the quick manual read and explained to us before driving of the lot.Of course after enjoying such great service, I cancelled all appointments with other VW dealers because I was confident that the information received was addressing my questions and helped me devised a plan to obtain what I wanted. And it didn't stop there, I received messages from Dudley and Max today (December 26, 2014) they were interested in how we are enjoying our new Tiguan and if we had any questions.. First off, let me say that I do not even live near Lynbrook. I searched for a well rated dealership and I figured it will be worth the trip and boy was I right. Upon arrival, I was greeted by the online sales manager who then introduced me to Dudley. I test drove the car I wanted and he explained to me everything in detail. I showed interest and promised to come back handing him a down payment.I am the kind of person who is very meticulous. I'd been looking at used cars for a month and hating the experience. I needed an inexpensive commuter car with no bells or whistles. I wasn't considering leasing until I saw the VW Jetta deal, which seemed almost too good to be true. So I went to Sunrise VW, even though I'd had enough of car salesman. Donell has changed my opinion of car salesman for the better, and I hope forever. He made my wife and me at all times comfortable. He was friendly without exception. After a half an hour, I felt ready to sign a lease and to have a drink with Donell after workwhich I still might do. I bought a CPO Tiguan 6 months ago, which had a faint odor on delivery that I attributed to the pre-delivery detailing. However, as the weather got warmer, the smell became so intolerable that I couldn't use the car. The dealership readily acknowledged the smell, and, with the guidance of the service manager, shampooing, steam cleaning, and a Dakota bomb were tried, to no avail. I then met with one of the managers who, much to my pleasant surprise, offered to swap my car for another one. I met with the general manager yesterday. He offered to give me what I paid for the car 6 months ago. There was no discussion of depreciation or additional mileage put on the car. I told him that I saw a car on the internet that I was interested in. He sold me that car for the internet price. In all my years of buying cars, I have never dealt with a dealership like Sunrise VW. The salesman, service manager, sales manager, and general manager were so understanding and reassured me that they would resolve the problem, and they did! From the first time that I discussed the problem with the service manager to the final meeting with the general manager, no one tried to deny that there was a problem, or say that it was my sensitivity to odors that was the problem, not the horrendous cherry smell in the car. My experience with the Sunrise VW staff was truly unique in my car buying history.Without hesitation, I would strongly recommend Sunrise VW to anyone looking for a VW product. The attitude of their personnel to satisfy the client is paramount, and runs through the entire dealership, something I have never experienced before.Michael G.

But I would like to mention that we were very unhappy and almost walk out of the deal with the finance person I don't know his name but you can look up my file and see who he was , he was nasty , condescending , when we question the reason why the price went up a bit and not a make or break deal he got up and was going to walk out , like we question his authority ... I would have walk out and tell him where to stick the car , but my wife wanted the jetter..so I shut my mouth .. My wife and I are professional people and we were treated like crap by this guy ... First, the level of customer service was on a world class level. Harez was an expert in terms of product knowledge as well as an expert when it came to helping me understand and appreciate the Passat and all the available features. These two skills are often mutually exclusively in a sales rep. For example, a Sales Rep could be an expert in Product knowledge but unable to communicate and answer questions in a way that a customer can fully understand. Harez happily combines both these critical skills. Harez was also considerate and appreciative of our needs and budget. He kept these things in mind. I had a problem walking that day due to an injury and he was SINCERELY solicitous when it came to my comfort and well-being. When our 14 year old VW Passat ran into trouble at JFK airport we found ourselves way out of town and far away from our normal service network. From the first phone call the team at Sunrise VW helped us out with advice and friendly understanding for our situation, even though we had not been clients of the dealership before. When it became evident that a replacement vehicle was in order, JD Dorcinvil took care of us start to finish. Even though we were complete strangers, we were treated like old customers and friends. JD traded in our old car, and helped us find a nice replacement that suited our needs. He took care of all the required paper-work and accelerated the process as much as possible over the weekend, so that we were driving off in our new car only a couple of days later. I was in the market for a certified pre-owned Golf. Having owned several VW's in the past from other area Long Island dealerships, I decided to try Sunrise VW based on other positive consumer reviews. From the beginning of the process, Sales Associate Vince Monte was extremely professional. He understood my financial concerns, and returned any emails/telephone calls promptly. It was a hassle free experience. Upon delivery the staff at Sunrise VW offered my family & I coffee/tea. I was unable to take delivery with Vince Monte due to my work schedule, he arranged delivery with Joseph Benjamin who was also very professional. He went over all features of the vehicle. I assumed I would be treated differently buying a Certified Pre-Owned as opposed to purchasing a brand new more expensive model. This was not the case. The car was washed, full tank of gas, and ready to go. Before leaving the Sales Manager Joe Odierno invited me into his office. He wanted to make sure that I was 100% satisfied with my experience with Sunrise Volkswagen. I replied "yes", very satisfied. From the moment I entered the dealership I noticed a welcoming experience. First I met with Max Colish who was very friendly and we reviewed the details of the car that I wanted. He answered all my questions and explained the options I had. Then I met Donnell Richardson. He was a very knowledgeable and extremely amicable salesman that made the deal go easy and smooth. We went for a test drive and answered all the details that I asked. I was able to perceive him more as a friend than a salesman. That speaks a lot about how good he is.I have no hesitations in recommending him.

What should I say first about this dealership and the several employees that I dealt with? When I first walked on the lot, I had a few cars in mind, and limited budget. Most dealers and salesmen usually take you half seriously and scurry away like a wet rat, when you hit them with a low number. Harez was far from the normal lot jock. He was willing to let me test drive at 6pm on a rainy saturday even though the dealership was just closing. After i decided on which car I wanted to buy Harez did a great job getting me approved, insured, registered and driving in just over 1 day(remember I went there on a Saturday at 6pm). When I am ready to buy another car I wouldn't think twice about going back to Sunrise Volkswagen.

My nissan lease was up and I was looking for another car to lease. I had horrific experiences in other dealerships with salesman pulling a bait and switch, or just flat out lying. I planned on staying with nissan, but after putting a deposit down they decided to tell me they didn't have the car etc. After receiving my deposit back I was told by a friend to check out VW. I couldn't be more satisfied, it was an amazing experience. I emailed Max telling him exactly what I wanted, and he emailed back very promptly with a price and an answer to all my questions. He set up a test drive for the next day, and I showed up early they took me without a problem. I was introduced to Harez, who gave me a test drive, was extremely helpful. He really excellent. Here is the best part. After the test drive...nothing changed we walked into the office all prices and everything I had previously talked about was exactly the same. NO switching no BS. Just absolute excitement and joy that I had finally found what I wanted. This is the most upfront honest knowledgeable dealership around. I would suggest this company and Harez to everyone and anyone I know in the market for a car. It was honestly a pleasure, and I actually look forward to giving them much more business because it was such an enjoyable experience. I can't give them enough credit.The car....What an absolute beauty. Everything I wanted. It handles well and is pretty quick also is amazingly luxurious. There really isn't anything like German engineering.

Harez was patient, understanding and very through. I was currently half way through my lease on my Tiguan and really wanted back into a Jetta. He not only made the numbers work, he took the time to walk me through all the options while remaining kind and patient. Poor guy even had to do my delivery in the pouring rain! He is a true assest to the sunrise VW staff!

I was extremely satisfied with my Sales Consultant Herez. He was friendly, organized, honest, and explained everything to me. Herez made sure that everything went smoothly. I would highly recommend his service. However, when it was time to talk to the financial consultant Lenny, he was very rude. He slammed the papers down because I did not want to buy the extra warranty. He then proceeded to make an innappropriate comment. "Do you always allow others to make decisions for you?" I felt as if he was trying to insult not only my intelligence but my Mother's as well. Over all I was satisfied with everyone else at Sunrise aside from Lenny. When it is time for me to buy/lease again, I will definitely work with Herez. As for Lenny, not so much.

So nice and friendly and he acknowledges that this is big purchase and makes you feel so comfortable. I was really nervous as this was the first time I was going to lease a car and I couldn't have had a better salesmen. However, Donnell Richardson blows this stereotype out of the water - despite my reservations and my continual questioning (and re-questioning) of any and every thing I could think of, Donnell showed patience, knowledge, and great integrity in working with me. We owned a 2003 Golf that we got from another dealership, before sunrise existed. Several years ago I was rear-ended on the Belt Parkway and it 'died'. I had it towed to Sunrise VW, left it overnight and they took the time to check it out, make sure it was fine, then told me the battery was only jolted loose, and sent me on my way AT NO CHARGE. So now that I was in the market, I knew I was going to check them out as a for-runner. We visited many dealerships since buying a new vehicle isn't a decision to take lightly, and I have to say hands down this is one of the best out there. Friendly, upfront, honest, and fair all around, just like their service dept. They took the time to explain our payments, worked within our monthly budget, didn't mind my father AND father-in law coming in with me to ask their own set of questions, looking out for my benefit. The whole process was a pleasure and they showed GREAT patience even with the older men in my life that I love dearly. I would recommend Sunrise to anyone and definitely come back to get my next VW! I truly LOVE my new GOLF!

Mere words can not adequately express the deep sense of joy and fulfillment we experienced while negotiating the purchase of our 2013 VW Golf. The moment my mother and I entered Sunrise Volkswagen we were greeted with a warm and genuine smile from the manager, Stu Coleman. Mr. Coleman then politely asked us how we could be of service to us. I then explained that we were interested in trading in our old VW Jetta and either buying or leasing a new VW, depending on which option would be best for us. My mother requested that he please give us a good salesperson, as all our other past experiences with VW dealerships had been extremely negative and demeaning.Mr. Coleman replied, "I have the perfect salesperson for you." Everyone at Sunrise VW whom I came in contact with was very professional and helpful .Donell Richardson went above and beyond by getting two different Golf deals for me . He asured me that I can put the deposit on one car and once I made up my mind over night I could switch this decision the next day .( which I did ) .Upon picking up my Golf TDI Donell spent some quality time showing me all of the features in the car and helped sync my cell phone with the car . Afterwards Robert Hovell sat down with me for a while ( while Donell put on the plates ) and asked me if there was anything else they can do .I was completely satified with everything .I use the service dept many times with my 2007 Rabbit and have been happy with the service dept as well . My wife and I recently purchased a pre-owned VW CC. Donnell proved to be one of the best salesperson I've ever worked with . Extremely attentive, friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely interested in accommodating our needs. He is the ONLY reason we ended up buying our car from Sunrise, following what ensued with the Finance Manager "Lenny."Lenny was condescending, dishonest, and perpetuated every stereotype associated with the industry. The contents of "privacy" forms put in front of me to sign were misrepresented, I was told that material misrepresentations on DMV forms were "irrelevant" and of course the justification for all of this is that he's been doing this for 20 years. You'd think Lenny would be getting it right by now....20 years. I closed the deal on one interest rate and was told that an interest rate that was almost double what was initially agreed to was all i could qualify for because of my poor credit (this is all while my bank had pre-approved me for half of what Lenny was trying to get me to sign off on)- In a hurry, of course. I have great credit, btw. By the time I left, I felt cheated and am still searching for the time to make a call to Volkswagen and consumer protection agencies about my time with Lenny. We looked at comparables from other dealerships and saw quite a few, but the effort that Donnell had put into the sale allowed me to communicate that I would be coming in with a check, if an only if there was no face time with lenny. My wish was granted. Stu Coleman, who had also helped us from the get-go, was also there and very helpful to sending us on our way. We are pleased with the sales experience, the price and the quality of the car, but if I wasn't so far along in the process of finding the right fit both in the car and in our sales people, Lenny would have costed Sunrise my business.I'd recommend the dealership, but only if it meant that my family and friends would deal with Donnell and Stu and avoid Lenny at all costs. You put a real stain on our experience.

I'm lucky choosing this dealership. Dudley is my sales agency, he is professional and warmhearted. he gave me a comprehensive introduction for the car and answered all my questions. At the same time,he helped me a lot, sent me back to hotel, picked me up, drived me to bank, etc. Most of their staffs are nice, as well. Almost everything went comfortable and satisfied.

Arthur Is the only reason I purchased my new Golf at sunrise VW. He knows exactly what the car is worth on the market and the price he offered me was EXACTLY what i was willing to pay. Once we agreed on the price we went over all the paper work and he made sure the experience was excellent. His communication will I waited for the car to be delivered was timely and polite. When I went to pick up the car he sat and explained to me anything i wanted to know, made sure it was clean (he even cleaned the window that had a little sticker residue still left on it). I have had the car for almost two years and when I dropped the car off for service a year later he remember me, talked with me about how my car is performing and made sure I was being helped.

Stopped in to look at a car I found on Cars.com. Nick was my sales rep. Very nice guy. Took the time to show the car and a lengthy test drive. Upon further inspection of the car, I noticed the rear quarter panel and passenger door had some waves on it. I opened the passenger door and noticed the car had been resprayed, and the job wasn't that good with overspray in the door jamb, fuel door, and trunk line. There was no accident posted on the CarFax, leaving me to believe the owner had some touch up work done when the car was returned off lease. I passed on the car and let Nick know if anything else came in to call me.

I brought my still under warranty 2008 beetle in to repair brakes. When driving it home from dealer after a whole week in their possession I noticed EPC light on. I returned to dealer who told me that it was on due to an "after market " part being installed and they refused to fix it at that point. Seven months ago I had a remote start installed with never any problems. I did not bring the car in initially with that light on it was only after THEY serviced it that it was on. I brought it back to the shop where remote start was installed and he proved it was not his doing by disconnecting the only wire he installed to the system and doing a diagnostic code test on it. The EPC light was still on when I attempted to drive it home. He called them and told them I was coming back to have my car fixed and it was obviously because of the work they just did and not his "after market" part.It was only after he called that they were then willing to service my car. I intend to file a formal complaint with the FTC. I should not have been given the runaround and my car should have been fixed without a hassle. I am totally unsatisfied with the service I received and will not recommend this dealership to anyone.

We had an issue with the lease. After we expressed our dissatisfaction to the dealership, they contacted us and settled the issue to our complete satisfaction. They obviously value their customers and want them back. We WILL be back and we would definitely recommend them.

I purchased a car from here and I was somewhat duped into purchasing an extended warranty. After I read the fine print, I decided that the warranty was a waste of money and asked the Finance Manager - Lenny, to cancel it immediately. Five months later and several trips to see "Lenny", my warranty still is not canceled! These people keep giving me the run around! I gave the buying experience 2 stars because my sales guy was very good. Their service department is just as dishonest, These people will try to sell you every bridge in the tri-state area. At Sunrise VW, they will say anything to make a buck. Do yourself a favor and stay away from that place!

I spoke w/a sales agent who told me to come in on a Saturday afternoon. He was with a customer when I arrived. I waited an hour and a half. Yes, an hour and a half. The agent walked by me multiple times, completely ignored me and not once gave me an update of when he could meet with me. Worse, he never apologized. Absolutely unacceptable and I should have left.Mike and Arthur were kind in conversing with me and offered me coffee. But I finally had to ask if another agent could help me with a sale.Donell was great to jump in. I recommend working with him. Unfortunately, because I had wasted so much time waiting and was now late for dinner reservations, we were rushed. But more than anything else I realized I just didn't want to give this dealership my business after such terrible customer service. This would have been my third VW, my family's fourth. I want to work with a dealership that appreciates its customers.So the only recommendation I can offer is working with Donell. He really tried to improve upon a bad experience and give me the best offer. But again, I really want to work with a dealership that appreciates its customers. Not an hour and a half later but the moment they walk in the door.

Great Price,and the Service was outstanding.The no money down lease deal on my Jetta was the best i coud find on any make car.The Salesman picked me up and drove me to showroom and then home after the Hurricane destroyed my car.The sales manager also went out of his way as well to help us with our purchase.The Car is a great product and Im very satisfied.My Wife and Best friend also leased new Vws on my reccomendation and they are also very Happy.

Sales person Jovon Windley was doing great job with matching the price and providing the best service. However, Financial manager Lenny Orlov is a great master to full you off. First he managed to sell me extended warranty for $ 2700 which as he said should cover of everything might happened to the car withing next 5 years. Even more if something would have happened to the car that VW will reimburse me with 7K plus what ever insurance will send the check for. When Hurricane Sandy hit NY my car was flooded and recognized as a total lost. As i contacted extended warranty their statement was that they don't cover water damage. Lenny Orlov never cared to answer my calls as I was leaving him tons of vm.... Then i did some research and found out that i can get a refund for extended warranty as the car was total. Extended warranty rep was kind enough to let me know that all of the paper work i've submitted went through ok and the money went back to the dealership and they should send the check over to me as the car has been payed off by insurance. It has been more than 3 month already as I am hitting my head to the wall by contacting Lenny Orlov and Carlos Cgirard General Manager to have this issue resolved and nothing so far. I've also contacted main VW office. At this time the case has been raised over to VW Regional Case Manager and i am not sure if that would help me. Just make sure if you are buying anything from VW Sunrise keep away from Mr. Orlov and don't get hooked on extended warranty it is nothing but waste of money!!!!Today is 1/16/2013 and i finally got my check. I was refunded 2600 sales tax has not been added, but I am tired from all of this so i just want to call it a day. With that I want to say thank you to the VW main customer office who helped me resolve it.

Beware. They sold me a car with wheel locks but no key for them when I contacted them they gave me the run- around for weeks and finally told me that I have to buy new ones and the removal of old ones is $150. They will rip you off

Was extremely surprised by how easy and satisfied I was with using this dealership. First off the salesman dealt with the insurance company to get all the paper work they needed for the insurance cards,also sent over the bill of sale to remove the insurance off the trade in car. Also programmed the satellite radio and my other favorite stations on the radio by the time I arrived to pick the car up. Programmed my Bluetooth when I arrived while he spent about an hour going over everything in the car. This was the forth new car I have purchased and my first volkswagon and no other dealer was this friendly or helpful. Thank You Sunrise Volkswagon.

After finding a deal on a 2009 Jetta through Ebay i decided to check out the car in person. Despite the price being marked up by more than 4000 dollars at the dealership they decided to give the car to me at the advised price on ebay! Turned out the price online was an error but they honored the price anyway. When i went back in for a key programming, I told them about a few things i noticed that needed to be fixed up and they ordered the parts right away! Complimentary finger foods and coffee was also available! Would definitely come back despite the long drive from NYC!

i was very please with the patience that the service manger had with listening to the symptoms of the problem i had with the car. I was also very happy that the service tech was able to find the problem in a timely fashion and was able to fix it in not only one visit, but half the time I expected the car to be in service.

Its been a pleasure doing with Sunrise Volkswagen. Unlike my past car shopping experience this time everything went smooth. My trade-in was appraised in a matter of minutes and they have agreed on exactly the amount Ive desired. We were being helped by Mr. Monte who went out of his way to make sure we were completely satisfied. He even took his time to set up the Navigation System and connect our cell phone via Bluetooth. I strongly recommend this dealership to any type of buyers.

I give high grades to Sunrise. I was very satified with my 2007 Jetta I purchased from Sunrise. So I went back in November to my same salesman, Allan Rosenberg to trade-in for a 2012 Jetta. The dealership is very pleasant, professional and I would say woman-friendly, which I have found not the case at many dealerships. Service is great because they will drive you to the Valley Stream train. So far, I am very happy with my 2012 Jetta. Just had my 3-month free check-up! Nora S.

After making an appointment to come in to get an appraisal on my used car and to purchase a new Jetta, I met briefly with the person with whom I spoke to on the phone. He greeted us and asked where the trade-in was and I told him. About ten minutes later I was shepherded into another salesman's office who, to be quite frank, did not know what he was doing. After having us tour the outside lot in the cold weather a number of times looking for a Jetta, a job he should have been doing, nothing was found. My used car was never appraised but just sat there; we never even were able to test-drive any Jetta. A total waste of two hours.

Arthur is a very great salesman. He took the time to find the right car for me, and the right price. I knew more or less what the car invoices for and he did not try to sell me at a high rate. He gave me a fair price but for the quality and service I recieved, I felt like it was a steal! Everyone was very delightful at the dealership and very fair, there was no gimmicks or games with these people. The girls at the front desk were very nice as well, and nice to look at =). The finance manager gave me a fair deal for an all inclusive protection package which was in my view a great deal! I was car shopping for over a month, Sunrise VW gave me the money I wanted for my trade and the price I wanted to pay for my car. I would reccomed Arthur or "Arty" to everyone. I felt at ease while he catered to me and my families needs.Once again than you SUNRISE VW! p.s. I LOVE MY 2011 TIGUAN!

This dealership was extremely professional in the way they handeled the sale of my brand new ccluxury limited sedan. My salesman Allen Rosenberg was the epitome of patience. He did not push or suggest items I did not want. We met Allen about four years ago when I purchased a brand new Passat (Wolfberg edition). The car was to die for. It handeled extremely well, hugging the roads and turns here in New Yorkl City with no problems at all. On one occasion during regularly scheduled visits, I would see Allen at the dealership and he would always inquire how I was enjoying my Passat. My response was always positive......And then I saw the cc.....I had to have it! I spoke to Allen on one occasion and told him I might be interested in buying one in the future, he calmly said..."whenever you're ready...let me know". No pressure at all! Wow...really?...from a car salesman? In 2011? His professional and easy going demeanor gave me the time to consider all the factors involved in buying a brand new car. I would like to commend Allen and the entire Sunrise Volkswagon family for making my Volkswagon experience a pleasant oneP.S. He was kind, courteous, patient, and spent a very long time with me and my husband exploring various options to see if we could come up with a lease plan to fit our budget. Javon provided the highest level of professionalism and customer service I have come across in a long time! Working with him has been a pleasure thus far!! I will say that one has to be an educated consumer at this dealership (as with most) and know the questions to ask. If you don't ask, you may not get what you need or are looking for. But Javon really worked hard to get our needs met. We were very pleased and recommend him highly! A++++++++++

i purchased a 2000 passat. less than 200 miles later it started leaking anti freeze. after several trip to the dealer TIM the sales manager told me that they are not obligated and they will not fix the water pump because it will cost1600 dollar, and that it was my problem. I ask to speak to the general manager who did not have the descency to talk to me. i bought the car for 4500 dollars from a vw dealer and a week later i have to spend one third of what i paid for the car.because i have only been driving vw for the past 20 years. and i thought that there would be a minimum trust behind the dealship brand. I guess I was wrong.

Their Service department is filled with some of the most Rude, vile, and condescending individuals I have EVER encountered. Do NOT get your volkswagen from here because if it has ANY problems you will be faced with nothing but a bunch of headaches! I bought my jetta in 2006 and have brought the car in 5 times since buying it for issues with the windshield wipers. To this day 2/2/2011 I am STILL have issues with my windshield wipers stopping in the middle of the windshield in rain, and they have YET to resolve it. DO NOT GET YOUR CAR FROM HERE, or if you do, DO NOT DEAL WITH THEIR SERVICE DEPT!!!!!!!!

Arthur was a very nice guy, walked me through the options, and gave me a good price on a GTI. When I waited to think it through, the next month came in and they weren't as motivated to make a deal. It seems that management pushed back on the great price he was giving, and weren't willing to give me a deal when I wanted to get more options on the car.Anyhow, good customer service, good sales guy, bad price (probably bad management).
