the driver's side door was broken and could only be opened from the outside, which made it difficult to exit the car. we brought the car to sunshine ford in newburgh , ny at 8 a.m. and were able to pick it up early that afternoon. as always, the work was done very well and quickly. we also really enjoy dealing with the Ladies at the service desk as they are knowledgeable and friendly.

I arrived at Sunshine Ford and was approached by Randahl and told him what car (Lincoln MKC) I was looking for he went in and got the keys and brought car around front for me to test drive. I test drove the vehicle and was very happy with it. He got out of the vehicle and was discussing me giving a deposit I told him my situation which is in 1-2 wks my car was being taken back by chysler due to lemon law situation and that I was test driving cars and getting pricing so when they come and get my car I already know what I want. He got irate and told me I was wasting his time and he wasn't going to discuss pricing with me I'm not ready to buy a car. He was very rude and walked away from me. He was very friendly and nice until I told him I couldn't sign that day he turned on me like a rabid dog. I have never been treated like that

Engine experienced electrical problems while traveling thru NY in RV on Ford E450 chassis late on a Friday afternoon. Service dept. got us right in, & while diagnosing problem, even offered to provide an electrical hookup & allow us to stay overnight in RV if necessary. They quickly traced problem to a malfunction on house side of vehicle which requires service from an RV center, but were able to find a temporary solution to keep the engine running so we could make it home to NH. We are extremely grateful to Jeff, Kevin & Steve for their caring service and resourcefulness.

We have a 2014 Ford Focus that has had nothing but transmission problem after problem. They have awful transmissions and Ford knows it. We have had it reprogrammed. No help. New clutch. Then new computer. Throughout, Sunshine Ford has gone a step ahead each time to be sure the problem is solved. The staff is great and we thank them. This is our 5th car purchased from Sunshine and Colandrea Pontiac. We would buy another in the future.

My Escape has hit it's one year mark. It's been running great. I brought it in for it's state inspection, and an oil change. I also had a tire serviced. I was in and out quickly. The staff was very helpful. One minor thing, is that I am over 6-1. When I went to get in the car, the driver's seat was set for a much shorter person. I laughed, and put the seat back.

I have a 2014 Ford Focus Titanium Hatchback. It needed an oil change and I also was experiencing shuttering on acceleration. I dropped it off the night prior to servicing and was called at 3:00 that the car was done. They did "the works" and upgraded some module and my car has not shuttered since. Also, my service was covered by my Ford rewards. All in all, a very good experience!!

Lights on rear license plate needed to be replaced, per the police officer who stopped us. It was found to be more than the bulbs and showed wiring had to be replaced. You service staff gave us a letter stating we were getting it fixed, in case we were stopped again. As soon as we could get a appointment that was good for all it was fixed.

I stopped into Sunshine Ford to see what was there and what kind of deal could be reached. I also checked inventory and found Healey Bros had much more stock. While looking at cars; I was approached by a sales person[ Randy Schmidt].He was low key and didn't push too hard. He knew the cars I was looking at really well, and suggested we try each model before we picked out a car. He asked if we had been any place else and I told him I had only been online and saw some of the deals. He asked where we wanted to be--payment wise so we stayed in our comfort zone. His numbers were good enough to put us in the seat of a 37,000.00 Fusion AWD. I didn't bother shopping any further. He said we could make it work, and 12 hours later we took possession. Everyone there worked to make it a smooth and relaxed sale.And we love the car.

My father-in-law recommended that I come to Sunshine Ford because of his past experience. I knew I wanted an F150. The one I was quoted two days prior was sold the night before, but an upgraded one was on the lot. Mike was very helpful and took me through the process thoroughly...no surprises.I was a little surprised at the trade-in price for my vehicle being so low, but Mike was fine that I decided to keep it instead and moved on. Everyone was very pleasant and courteous. My father-in-law and I were treated very well during our entire visit. My only downside is that I ordered a Tonneau cover (with installation) with the purchase and was told that I would be notified when it came in. I had to call later in the week to find out it had been there, but I wasn't called yet. The service department could not fit me in for an additional week for installation. That in itself is not an issue, but if I have vehicle concerns in the future, I'm not confident that scheduling a repair or diagnostic will be a "bring it in tomorrow morning so we can take a look" scenario. I suggest that service time expectations be upfront during the sale for a better experience. I work in a service based environment and setting expectations makes real schedules palatable.

It was my first time at Sunshine Ford. 1st may I say your rep that handles the chat on line in the evening was quick to answer and did have someone contact me the next day. I am usually not fond of car sales people but we had Andrew Curtin who is new to sales and young but I found it a refreshing experience. He did pay attention to detail when I told him what I was looking for and within 15 min had the car that I purchased with no problem. I am very impressed with the young woman that assisted me with the service. She discovered that I have a maintenance plan with Ford and that the oil change and tire rotation that I came in for was covered by the maintenance plan. I have been in to your location for at least three times and this is the first time that the service provider noticed the maintenance plan. I really thought that my maintenance plan had reached the end of its time frame and that is why I did not question the previous charges. Each time I brought my vehicle in, the service providers that I dealt with were very courteous and helpful. However, I am thankful to Deanna Bolin for going the extra mile for me and noticing the maintenance plan was still in effect.

Even though there was a nationwide recall on my Fiesta less than a week after I bought it and it had to be in the shop for 6 weeks, that was because the Ford Motor Co. didn't have a new transmission/clutch available for all that time. I missed a flight out of Stewart Airport and figured i'd get an LOF (lube, oil and filter). after calling your service dpartment they said they could get me in. they did the LOF and your service advisor Deanna walked out from behind the counter (nice touch) to advise me what else the car needed. I recently totaled a car and I was driving a rental, so I went to Sunshine Ford with no money, just looking for what to buy. Randy the Sales Rep came up and asked if I needed help, I explained my situation to him. Not only did he get me in a brand new 2014 Focus (Which he picked for me based on my needs on the first try), but with no money down and 4,000 off the MSRP. The Credit guy got me the payment that I needed and when the time came to put on the plates and drive my car off, not only did Randy cover the difference in cost of the new plates out of pocket (They told me 140 it was really 180. A small but definitely noticeable gesture) but they even returned my rental for me. 15/10 As long as I live a drivable distance away, this will be the only place I purchase a vehicle. Great job guys!

I just purchased a Fusion Titanium Hybrid. I am a pretty loyal Ford owner and returned first to the dealership where I had purchased my 2 previous cars. I bought a 2014 ford focus st, now I have been driving it around for a week and I drive a lot. I had about a little over 600 miles on it. I was driving it one night when every light turned on the dash, it seemed to be that the car had over heated and there was anti freeze coming out the over flow, so I called ford and they towed it to sunshine ford like I had asked. So, I waited a couple of days they called me and told me that the cerpenten belt had shredded due to a bad belt. So, I said I will be there after work to come and check it out, I finally get there and the service department guy Jeff told me that the car was on a test run and they did not know when it would be coming back so me and my older brother told them we would wait till it comes back to look the car over just incase there was anything elce wrong with it and they kept telling my brother and I that they looked it over good. But Me and my brother wanted to check it out so the service department guy Jeff kept telling my brother that he did not buy the car here, and Jeff kept talking to me with an attitude. So then I asked for a rental car so I could go back and forth to work until the car was finished and they gave it to me , but right after I left my brother was waiting for me at the dealership to help me check the car over and the owner one of the Colandrea brothers came out side and verbally attacked him and told him to leave (wow!!! What great service, I would love to buy another car from there). So when I went back to the dealer ship I had a talk to them and they made up a whole line of BS. , gave me a full detail and tried to apologis but the damage was already done . So for anyone who wants to buy a car at sunshine ford think again and don't ask to see the car when it brakes and especially don't bring a family member with you because they will treat them horribly...

This is the fifth car that I purchased from Sunshine. I had a 2009 MKZ and it was a great car, I didn't think the 2014 MKZ could surpass it, but it has. The 2014 MKZ is a remarkable car, love all the new features and the smooth comfortable ride. I was very surprised how well the 4cyl Eco boost runs, great pep and runs better than the 2009 6 cyl.I stopped in and asked for Frank Simpson, he sold me the 2009 MKZ. I had a terrific experience in 2009 with Frank's excellent knowledge of the car. Frank is an excellent salesman, he made me feel comfortable with his manner, friendliness and how he presented the new car. Frank Simpson makes Sunshine Lincoln shine and is a real added bonus for the dealership. Frank showed me how the car operates and assured me that I can call him with any questions. I know being a salesperson is a hard job, Frank makes it look easy. I never felt this comfortable buying a car before, thanks to you Frank. He also made the task of signing all the paperwork easy and stress free.The rest of the staff that I met or dealt with were caring and greeted me with a smile.Frank introduced me to the service staff and they also made me feel comfortable.I will be back in three years for another new Lincoln.

I recently traded in my 2008 Mazda Tribute for a 2014 Black on Black Ford Explorer Sport. This is going to be our future family car and has amazing style to it. I must say...the service was outstanding. Joe the owner worked with my fiance and i along with Frank one of their senior sales managers. I never felt more comfortable buying a car in my life. Both Joe and Frank were so welcoming into the dealership and Frank was extremely patient with me answering all my "future mother to be" questions...When i wanted to test drive the car 2X that day, it was not a problem. Even during the paperwork portion, which normally takes 3 hours...took in total 90 minutes! My fiance and I made a quick decision to get the car same day, but needed to leave to make it to the airport for a business trip. Talk about teamwork! Sunshine Ford-Lincoln has a 5+ STAR rating from me. I will be looking to purchase future cars from there again.

I purchased a F250 in February, 2012 from Sunshine Ford. In June of 2014 the rear differential developed a leak. I called for an appointment and was told it would be a week and a half before the service department could service the truck. I dropped the truck off the day before the scheduled appointment so they would have it first thing in the morning, my appointment was for 7:30 am. I was told it would be ready by the end of the day. Mid morning I received a call and was told the pinion seal was leaking and needed to be replaced. It was stated that they should have the part later that afternoon. The truck was not ready by the end of that day but I was assured it would be ready the next day. At the end of the second day I called the service department and was told the truck would not be ready until the next day. Finally on the third day the repair was completed. I was informed that the delay was because the service department was busy and short on manpower. I hope my first experience with the service department at Sunshine Ford is not an indication of any future service appointments I may have.

I've always hated going to car dealerships shopping for new vehicles. The sales people are always so pushy, looking at me as just another deal. One more car closer to their sales goal. This time I was pleasantly surprised. I'm almost ready to purchase my next vehicle and when I was approached at sunshine ford, I was ready for the usual pressuring sales person. That was not the case here. Steve bates "the Fonz" answered all my questions and wasn't pushy at all. He spent a lot of time with me and made me feel so comfortable. I also spoke with the sales manager, Steve cosco, who was just as great. I will be purchase my next vehicle within the next few weeks and will definitely be going back to sunshine ford!

Here's my story:Purchased a 2012 Ford Mustang GT Premium Convertible out of state, at another Ford dealership. Brought the vehicle to this dealership for service twice. First time was great: relatively quick service, reasonable pricing, washed my car, etc. They lost one of my fancy valve stem caps and replaced it with a cheap plastic one, which I reported to them, but I still wasn't that upset.The second time, however, is where the problem began. First, they tried to upsell me on the service. I made it clear in the beginning of the conversation that I wanted to do the bare minimum to keep the vehicle's warranty valid, and that any additives or extra service would be done by me at my own discretion, as I've been working on cars for well over a decade and am professionally trained. They argued with me on this repeatedly, which was very frustrating.At the end of the service, they tried to install a license plate frame on the front and back of my vehicle without even asking me on a vehicle THAT THEY DID NOT SELL TO ME. The vehicle was not purchased from their dealership, and it is clearly a show car. You should ALWAYS clear it with a customer before attaching anything to the exterior of their vehicle.Here's the best part: I was called and asked about my service 5 days later. I told them, in an agitated tone, that I was displeased with it and why I was displeased. I then apologized to the lady that I was speaking to for any negativity in my tone, and informed her that it was merely out of frustration for the stuff that happened and that I wasn't upset with her. The manager then called me, and was nasty from the first word. He began attempting to shift all of the blame off of his staff and onto me. I informed him that I would not be spoken to in such a manner and hung up on him.I will never do business with this dealership again and will advise every person that I know (including the reader) to do the same. You have been warned.

My first encounter was with Sayid. He turned out to be very honest and straightforward and made a decent offer, but I wasn't ready to buy that day. I returned a few days later ready to buy the car we'd looked at the price I'd already negotiated, but wanting to see a model with additional features--just to be sure. Although I'd spoken with the internet salesperson earlier that day and mentioned Sayid, and I even asked for him when I arrived, he was off that day. Randall wound up being our salesperson--and although I thought it was poor form by his colleagues not to tell me he was off that day when they knew I was planning to come in, I was there to purchase the car and that's what we were going to do. After our trade-in was appraised, Randall REFUSED to give us the trade-in offer until we gave him our loan pay-off balance. Even though we knew better, I let him wear me down on this and I provided the info. b/c he insisted they do not undervalue trade-ins at Sunshine Ford and he would, QUOTE, "do what it takes to earn our business, even if that meant overvaluing it some". Right. So, the rest is as predictable as the sunrise. Of course they offered far less than an acceptable number and showed me the offer with the cheaper car we'd seen, I'm quite certain with the intention to increase their trade-in offer a few hundred dollars if I agreed to pay something far closer to sticker price on the nicer model he already knew we preferred. The whole thing was just...ick. I still can't believe I gave him that number!So, as predictably as the sunset, I marched myself down to Brewster Ford, where no one pestered me for my existing car loan balance, sold me the exact car I wanted (the upgraded SEL, BTW), at invoice price AND offered two thousand dollars more for my trade-in. It was well worth the drive. I would recommend anyone else do the same.

We worked with Steve Bates extensively during our most recent new car search. We made two trips to the dealership to check out two different vehicles (Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator). On both occasions, Steve did the following: (1) came out to greet us as soon as we pulled in, (2) provided an extremely thorough walk through of the vehicle, (3) took us on lengthy test drives so that we could get a good sense of the vehicle, and (4) was very straight to deal with back in the office. On top of all that, we liked his strong but warm personality and we had fun working with him. This guy definitely belongs in sales, and we mean that in a good way.It's incredible how many dealerships and salespeople today don't hit all the bases properly. At other places, we've had to hunt down someone to help us. We've had cursory or non-existent walkthroughs. We've had sales reps who clearly know nothing about the vehicle. We've been taken on a 3-minute test drive, and we've even been refused a test drive. In contrast, at Sunshine we felt like VIPs. We also liked how adaptable and accommodating they were at Sunshine. We like to take our time, go over the details very carefully (including the numbers), and explore multiple options. I'm sure we tested their patience -- it showed a little, though not much. Steve was also very good about following up with us via email, when we told him we preferred that to phone calls. In the end, we decided to go with a different make/model for this particular purchase, but that was not a reflection on the dealership or the salesperson. We would definitely work with Steve/Sunshine again, and we would recommend them to our friends, family, colleagues, or anyone else.

Car buying at sunshine ford was the best car buying experience I've ever had. I was welcomed with a smile and a friendly sales person. I was not sure as to exactly what I was looking for my sales person took the time to go over every feature in a few different cars, despite the freezing temp. out side and did so with a smile and very friendly attitude. The fact that he took the time to do that showed us how much they value their customers. I look forward to dealing with them again and strongly encourage any car buying customer to visit them, you will not be dis-appointed.

I purchased a 2005 Mustang convertible from Sunshine. I had mentioned that I might be moving out of the area, but was looking for a Mustang. I was told they had a "special deal" on their LAST 2005 Mustang. Their special deal was a water damaged car. There was a seam along the firewall that was never finished at the factory. The first time I left this car out in the rain it filled up the passenger side floor and caused numerous electrical problems. It also caused the carpet to mold and a heavy mildew smell (almost like it had been wet before and then dried out). The car would barely run. I took it to a Ford dealer that was close to my home as I doubted the car would make it 40+ miles back to Sunshine. When I returned to Sunshine and told them what had happened I was told that because I had taken it to another Ford dealer, the water leak was no longer their problem. After 6 months, numerous calls to Ford and 2 or 3 from Sunshine Ford to leave or they would call the police, and numerous attempts by the other dealer that tried to fix the leak, I contacted the Better Business Bureau. The arbitrator and their inspector found that the car HAD leaked before I had purchased it and was still leaking. Though the leak had been a factory defect from day one, Sunshine Ford claimed it had NEVER leaked on their lot. It kind of explains why the car had been stored in a service bay and the sticker showed a lot of water damage. (I had asked the sales person why the sticker was water marked, I was told that someone had left the windows down a little bit). Eventually the car ended up being sent to Ford reclamation. Sunshine Ford claims to have the "Mustang King" working there. Mustang King I sincerely doubt it. Ripoff king, that I believe. As for service, RUN away from this dealership. Sunshine Ford is the epitome of how a car dealership shouldn't be run.Avoid the headache, lies and ripoffs. Go anywhere but here to buy a car.
