Alex will do anything so you don't walk out but once you sign those papers it's over. Once you do and the car is delivered he does not care! I was not pleased with what he sent me and I received absolutely no customer service after. I went in for a specific vehicle Grand Caravan SE and he sold me an economy class without telling me. And when I contacted him he acted as if he didn't know and said read the window sticker. I'm very unhappy with my purchase and will NEVER buy from this dealership again!

My husband and I were not expecting the level of service that we got at Szott. Every used car lot we had been to had been a disaster and we had been to several thus far. From the moment Rob greeted us, our experience was different. He put me at ease right away and talked to both my husband and I, not just one of us. The dealership literally worked a miracle for us and we didn't even ask for it! We were expecting a crazy high interest rate due to previous credit troubles, but they secured a VERY reasonable rate for us without us ever even asking! They just did it! We drove away the same day in a vehicle that I couldn't be more happy with. And the environment! We had 2 kids in tow that day (because we weren't expecting to actually buy) that are 11 & 12. They were catered to just as much as we were. They let them play basketball, and watch TV, and fed them popcorn. It was great not to have to worry about them. The kids even said, this place is great, we should come back! Anyway, if you are looking for a great experience and a great car, go visit Robert Pendell at Szott Dodge. You wont regret it!

My Dodge Journey was recently taken in for routine maintenance and new brakes, plus a noise from the rear of the car. The noise had been progressively getting louder. I was concerned about safety issues regarding the wheels in the back of the car. The noise was diagnosed as worn out right front wheel bearing and a left rear wheel bearings.When I picked up the car, it braked great and all under-body and wheel noises were gone.My Journey has 210K miles on it and it sounds and brakes like new.I appreciate all the hard work and car care I've received from Adam and his team.By the way, the cost to me was very reasonable.

I have bought about 10 new vehicles in my life and have never had an experience like I did with Josh Cross at Sorts. I work pipeline work all over the united states.I worked with Josh for about a month over the phone.He always returned my calls and went the extra mile.I wanted a specific truck and a specific color.I didn't want to wait 6 weeks or so to order.I searched the internet net and could not find one but some how Josh found 2.He emailed me the information on both trucks,I called him back put some money down over the phone.I had to work until 8pm raced to meet Josh before they closed at 9pm on Monday.When I finally made it to the dealership they where getting ready to close in about 20 minutes.I sat down with Josh he went over all the paper work and answered all my questions.He is a very professional sales man.I was never pushed or rushed.By the time we where done talking it was 9:35pm.They went and picked up my truck and as soon as it arrives to Sorts Josh sent me a picture of it and I had my dad go pick it up for me because of my work schedule.I love the truck and can't say thanks enough. until the next one,Keep up the good work Josh.Thanks again.

Buying a car is a very overwhelming and emotional process for me. I shopped around at several dealerships and met many other salesmen with lots of different personalities. Jim Liebzeit stands out above the rest by far! He helped make the process smooth and easy for me. He was laid back and easy to talk with. He's very knowledgeable and answered every question I had. When I asked a question he wasn't sure of, he admitted he wasn't sure and immediately found out the answer. I appreciate and respect that a lot. (Which was only, like, one time, he knows his stuff!) I was never made to feel pressured or made to feel like I was asking stupid questions. Being a woman buying a car, other salesmen were rather condescending to me. Jim never made me feel that way. My Dart broke down on March 26 and I had it towed to Szott Dodge because I had luck with them in the past. It took them two days to diagnose the problem and the concluded the engine had to be overhauled and it was covered under powertrain. The writer said it should be done by the weekend. A week went by and the writer said they are having difficulties. After week two in the shop, I still had to call to check on progress. Towards the end of the week, I called again and the writer said they had to order more parts and should be done by the weekend. I called Dodge CS and they called the dealer. The writer told Dodge a part was on backorder. The next day, Dodge said they are getting the part overnighted and my car will be done by the weekend. After three weeks, I finally got a hold of the service manager and he said he will keep me updated. Supposedly my car will be done on April 21...ALMOST 4 WEEKS! They didn't offer me a rental until it was in the shop for almost three weeks. When I called Dodge a few days ago and they called the dealer, CS said they can give you a rental and I said I don't want a rental, I just want my car back. Long story short, Szott and all Dodge dealers and Dodge CS suck. I'll never buy a Dodge again!

Walked onto the lot not sure what sort of vehicle I wanted to buy, if any that day, but I needed 4x4.Evan approached me in a very unintimidating manner & asked if he could help...From there, the entire process was very low-pressure & very simple.At no point did I feel like I had to spend more than I was comfortable spending, nor did I feel like the wool was being pulled over my eyes. I will never buy a vehicle from anyone other than Mr. Coughlin for the rest of my life. We were literally on our way to a different dealership to take delivery of a 2014 Ram when he was able to get us a better truck for way less including extended warranty and GAP!! I wasn't sure at first what I really wanted, but Ron and Brian were very helpful. They were both very understanding and patient with me and my situation. I never felt pressure or uncomfortable with either of them. There was never any sales pressure or persuasion-- I gave them my budget and my preferences and they delivered! I am amazed by the service I received at Szott Dodge. After having nothing but problems with my long-time dealership with my 8 month old 2014 Charger (16 visits for the same problem), I was put in touch with Jeff at Szott. He actually took the time to listen to my problems and concerns and actually spent his time helping me. I was able to trade my Charger in incredibly early without too much of a penalty, and now I am in an even nicer 2015 Charger. Alex even delivered my new car to me at work so that I didn't have to wait to pick it up. After 8 months of anxiety attacks and dealing with incompetent service and management at the dealership, I can say I have never been treated better than I was at Szott. Thank you for helping me!

purchased a GWC warranty that the dealership pushed heavily PUSHED by F&I then had a problem that is CLEARLY covered and the warranty company would not return our calls and the F & I gentleman would not share the email address of the individual that could have helped us..Attorney Time....DONT DEAL WITH THIS DEALER GROUP NOR PURCHASE A WORTHLESS EXTENDED CONTRACT EVEN WHEN THEY SAY "You can have all this coverage for just a few dollars more each month". That simply means that the dealership was not honest with your real monthly payment....Shop at your own risk!

Did I mention he is absolutely hilarious?! Significantly, he also spoke to me honestly --about what car was right for me, ones that weren't, and the realism of the expectations I had. He not only found me the new Ford Focus I love, but this is my 3rd car from him and the dealership, and all have been 'part of the family.' I will never buy a car from anyone or anyplace else. Sold me a jeep that they did not have the rights to. The title was still in a mans name that was deceased. His mother was allowed to trade in the jeep with only a death certificate which told me that she didn't have the jeep in her name either. 6 weeks of I will get my title tomorrow I finally had to hire an attorney and call Attorney General on them. After almost two months I finally received my title but only after the Attorney General investigator called them. I got my registration that day. I have countless text messages from the salesman promising me a title and registration because I was losing work due to I am a nurse and drive my clients around in my vehicle. I cannot do that without proper registration and plates. A dealer plate was put on after temp expired. I had to do my own investigating to figure out the truth. After telling Brad i hired an attorney that is only when they decided to go out to the mothers home and drive her to the SOS so she could transfer the title into her name and then in Szotts. So many lies and deception that theres not enough space on her. I also never received my Gap policy that I purchased. First time buying a car for myself and was totally taken advantage of. Jamie Romeo contacted me to come and sign the title and was very rude when I told her to call my attorney because i was afraid that they would try and get me to sign back dated paperwork and how can I drive there to sign anything when I dont have plates because they were stolen two days ago. Attorney General advised them to send a driver to me and they did. Attorney General also told me that they would not back date anything. They were already in several other violations.

Driving home from work my low battery light came on (2013 Dodge Caravan 40k miles) so I brought ti straight to the SZott to have it checked out. Come to find out my alternator went bad (thank God for extended warranties) and had to be replaced. They were able to get my van in that day and order the parts. Picked my van up a few days later, working perfect, they did a great job. The only issue I had was that I had to rent a car for 3 days because they did not have a loaner car for me to drive.Great guys over there, would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy a new car or have work done on their existing car.

Update 8/3/2015:The sales team is still OK with me, however; I am downgrading my original 5 stars to 3 instead. The office lost my new license plate. I called to verify when the new plate was going to be mailed to me. I was informed by my sales guy Brian V that they had received my plate, but somehow misplaced it. They could not tell me if it was mailed to me or not because there was no tracking. Keep in mind that my temporary plate was expiring within 2 days and it was on a Friday when I called them. I was informed that I now needed to go the Secretary of State to request a new plate. What kind of service is this???? Early Saturday morning I go to the S.O.S only to find the line is seriously wrapped around the building. I had absolutely no choice but the wait because again my temporary plate was expiring the next day. I waited one hour outside and another hour inside. I even called Brian V to express my frustration, but was sent to voicemail. Thankfully I was able to get another plate. I had to pay an additional $5.10. I know it's only $5.10, but the dealership never reached out to me to apologize or anything. Later that day the mail came. Guess what was in the mail!!!! The plate that Szott M59 had originally misplaced. Turns out they mailed it, but didn't know it. Purchased a Ford Edge from Szott Dodge back in June 2015. I am from Omaha, NE so was quite the distance from Szott Dodge which is in Detroit area. I worked with Brian Vlisides (sales person) and he is honestly the nicest/best sales person I have ever worked with. Brian went above and beyond to describe the car over the phone and answer all my questions in detail. One night I even emailed him past store hours thinking I wouldn't hear from him until the next business day, he actually called me that night after the dealership was closed to answer my questions. Talk about GREAT customer service! Ron was also great helping me get a great finance rate and helping me setup the logistics to fly into Detroit airport to have one of the employees pick me up to bring me to the dealership...Once I arrived at the airport they picked my wife and I up, and it was a short 30 minute drive to their dealership. The Edge was as described and pictured on their website. Brian immediately gave me the keys and I took it for a 10-15 minute test drive. The Edge drove perfectly and within 45 minutes to an hour my wife and I were on the road with our new Ford Edge!!! Jerry made the financing very fast and easy, and what I loved about him most was that he wasn't forcing warranties down our throats like some dealerships do. He explained the advantages/benefits of some of the warranties, but once we declined he was very respectful to not continually talk about it. Lease Journey R/T had sight leak in rear end. Mike set me up with a loaner for a day while they replaced the differential. A week later the viscous drive needed replacing. Again a loaner was made available. Other than the inconvenience of bringing it in a second time, Mike was very accommodating and took care of the problem immediately. My only concern is that the dealership does not have a loaner equivalent to what I am leasing. The Dart G/T was fun but I'm used to a vehicle where I sit more upright.

I have purchased two cars from this location. Both from Alex. My most recent was a 2014 dodge journey. It was a dealer demo car with 4000 miles. On the way home with our car the transmission would not shift . The shop took care of it and Alex got us a different car for the weekend road trip we had planned. A month later the same issue happened. Alex again got is a loner and mike in the service department handled the issue mike contacted me a couple days later saying it was ready and they went ahead and rebuilt the trans just to make sure. They also threw in a free oil change. True customer care in my eyes am made me a customer for life!

Enjoyed the car buying experience. I am an extremely busy small business owner and after doing a bunch of research on-line, settled on a very nice, clean, 2011 RAM Sportsman. Szott's pricing was very competitive, and Brian & Ron made the purchase super easy. We did all but the signatures by phone and email and they stuck around late on a Friday to deliver a well prepped, clean, certified, used truck. They even offered to handle the lease termination of my Ford f-150 and delivered it to their Szott Ford store. The whole transaction could have only been better if they had let me win at foosball. When my wife found a vehicle online at Szott M-59 Dodge I was a little skeptical at even inquiring because of the distance. However, I relented and sent an inquiry and I'm so glad I did. Erich called soon after I inquired about the vehicle and really put me at ease. I told him that we live 65 miles from Szott Dodge, and while I do like the looks of the vehicle, I had a vehicle that I needed to trade to make any deal. Erich understood and explained that if we did make the trip, and that the vehicle was in fact the right one for us, that he and the staff at Szott would do everything they could do to make a deal that works for both parties. No pressure at all, just an honest chat between a potential customer and salesman. When I arrived at the dealership the vehicle was everything they stated it to be and more. The entire staff was friendly and courteous and they made me a fair offer on my trade that allowed us to purchase the vehicle the same day. I couldn't be happier with my experience at Szott M-59 Dodge. When it's time to replace our other vehicle Erich and the gang at Szott will be seeing us again. About a Year ago around March of 2014 I bought my very first Dodge Dart through Szott-M59 dealership. I had great service the very first time with my salesman and the entire dealership overall. Just recently in February I was involved in a terrible accident causing my car to catch on fire, and unfortunately my Dodge Dart was totaled. After a few weeks I decided to come back to Szott M-59 in hopes of purchasing another Dodge Dart. Despite everything I enjoyed driving the Dodge Dart, it's great on gas and just the perfect size car for a college student like myself. Jerry Krzeszak knew of my accident prior to me coming into the dealership, so he was on board and ready to help me get back on to my feet. Knowing that I had some issues with my Insurance company, which I waiting for a response on the pay off of my first Dodge Dart, Jerry and few other employees, Eric and my Salesman Alex, helped to push the process through faster. That day I walked in without a car and left that day with another beautiful dodge dart of my choice. Jerry Krzeszak was able to really pull through and help fix everything financially with the old bank that I was paying my first Dodge Dart to, and now he was able to search up another bank for me to pay my new Dodge Dart out to that approved me on a loan by myself without a co-signer. After speaking with Jeff, who was very polite and professional told me "come in to the dealership and we will get a deal done." I found an suv that I liked on auto trader but had some questions. So I called up to Szott M-59 and spoke with Erich. He was really friendly on the phone. I told him what I was looking for and he told me to come on out. I made the hour drive out to Highland and was presently greeted and made to feel right at home. Once I decided I loved the Journey, I met with his manager Ron who was super nice and tried to work with the numbers for me. First of all, their service department doesn't require you schedule an oil change ahead of time like Shuman; they say add long as their own, you can come in for an oil change. I came in to get an oil change in my wife's van and look at leasing a new truck. Told Mike Perkins what I wanted. He went through helping me find the truck I wanted at the right price. They offered to have the truck brought to my house the next day to drive around for the afternoon... My dodge journey had to have the engine rebuilt at only 36000 miles. Szott would not give me a loner car or help with a rental while my Dodge was in the shop for a week. Warranty repair but rude service manager. I would never do business with them again. My first time buying a dodge and my last. After 30 years of GM products I'm going back. My Impala has 250000 miles and no major repairs. My dodge needs major work at 36000. If they would have helped me with a loner vehicle during the repair I might have been more forgiving.

I was looking to purchase a used 2011/2012 certified Dodge Ram 1500 for my wife. I found one advertised at Sterling Heights Dodge/Jeep near my home in Clinton Township. The sales representative that showed me the truck was arrogant, developed an attitude when discussing the overall cost and trade in value of my wife's Lincoln. When I pulled the Car Fax from this perspective truck there was a link to the others in my area off the auto/truck trader. When I learned that Szott's had a 2012 Ram for sale I called and was connected to Brian. From the beginning of our conversation, through the meeting and sales portion of the transaction my wife and I found him to be an outstanding person to do business with. He was personable and provided my wife and I with honest answers to my questions. The other indiviual that we found to be helpful during the transaction was Ron Nakas in the financing department. I took my vehicle into Szott M-59 Dodge 2 weeks ago from today for some powertrain warranty work. About a week into it, I had to call them to inquire on the status of my vehicle, at which time I was notified that they were waiting on a part that was on back order from Chrysler. So I requested a loaner vehicle until they had my vehicle completed and was told that Chrysler does not supply loaner vehicles, but they would be more than happy to rent me one at my own expense. Another week passes by and again I had to call them to inquire on my vehicle status and was told that the part was in and would be installed immediately. I made another inquiry today about my vehicles status and was told that they had ordered the WRONG PART!!!!!!! This is the worst experience I have ever had having any vehicle serviced and I STILL DO NOT HAVE MY VEHICLE!!

Went to purchase a new ram that was advertised in there add, they could not show me one, I asked where were the 67 they had advertised Will told me they must have sold them all. Add came out on Sun today is Thur that's amazing I said. He then said well you know how these adds work. I called Terry the sales mgr he said he would find out more and call me back, and guess what,it never happened. Isn't that false advertisement or bait and switch? I should have left when I pulled in the parking lot they had a stereo playing outside very loud with "Take The Money And Run"

My initial experience with M-59 Dodge was not very pleasant! After I spoke with Jeff he explained the situation and what had happened. Jeff did everything in his power to make it right. I told him I was looking for a Factory Dodge remote start for my 2011 Charger and he gave me a great deal and also offered to pick up my vehicle (which is about 2 hours from their dealer), leave me a loaner car, install the starter, and return my Charger the next day! Amazing service from Jeff. Very satisfied and greatful he took time out of his busy schedule to make sure i was satisfied! Thanks again for the amazing service!

I was very upset with Chrysler/Dodge because of a reoccurring problem with tire pressure sensor valve stems breaking off when trying to put air in tires. Obviously these sensors are defective. The dealership near my home didn't want to admit to the problem.I wrote Larry Flowers an email and he responded very quickly. Replacing the sensors was costly and I felt I was being wronged by Chrysler. Larry Flowers assured me he would make things right by me, and he did. He reimbursed me for the 2 sensors I had already paid to have replaced, and promised to fix the other 2 free of charge.Larry Flowers is a man of his word and I will most definitely give him my business on my next purchase!

While researching the Dodge Avenger on-line we happened upon Szott then received a call from Erich Maier. Erich actually listened to our needs and patiently guided us though the decision making process. It was a two hour drive to the dealership but we felt it was in our best interest to meet with Erich and check out the inventory. Upon arrival we found a very busy staff opening the store for the day, all were buzzing around offering coffee, water and assistance. OK, to start with this is my 4th DODGE TRUCK that I've either leased or bought at Szott's M-59 DODGE. That might not be a record but for somebody that lives in COLDWATER, Michigan it is. I cannot say enough about my experience with Mr Larry Flowers. I first met Larry through a mutual friend, June 2011. I contacted Larry on his PERSONAL cell phone (he gives customers 24/7 access to reach him)and within 1.5 hrs he returned my call and we had a meeting set up to get me into another vehicle. Understand that Larry gives 1,000% of his time and energy to customer satisfaction--this is his sole purpose above everything else -- including pricing !!! So, my story goes, by July 3rd,just a few days after I spoke to Larry over the phone, I met him at The Chrysler dealership (down the street from Szott M59 Dodge) and he had me in my new lease vehicle (with 6 miles on it!) in less than 2 hrs!!!! FOLKS,LET ME TELL YOU--IT DOESN'T GET BETTER THAN THIS...YOU WANT THE BEST, YOU NEED TO SEEK OUT THE BEST IN THIS BUSINESS---AND THAT IS MR LARRY FLOWERS OF SZOTT M59 DODGE!So,my story has another chapter...I needed my oil changed & fluids checked. Who do I call?? Larry Flowers! I pulled my car into the service bay and the service manager states,"We're expecting you, Larry told us you were coming"...45 minutes later I was escorted to the service area and told that everything was covered,NO CHARGES FOR TODAY'S SERVICE!!! Have you ever been told this? When have we ever gotten ANYTHING for free?!! Well, it seems that my first oil change, fluid check, tire rotation was covered under the vehicle's warranty !!My story continues...Today,June 16 (Sat), I noticed that my battery light was on... Who do I call?? You got it--Larry Flowers !I called Larry on his cell phone and left a message indicating that my battery light was on and the manual stated that it could be an alternator issue. I also indicated to Larry that I was taking a road trip with this car and was scheduled to leave today. In the meantime,my husband took the vehicle to the nearest dealership to our home (not M59 Dodge). He drove my car into the service bay and stated what the issue was....the service person said, " Sorry, I don't have a mechanic working today and I can't get the part until Tuesday!!!!!" Well, that simply wasn't good enough for me....So, when Larry called me back he immediately stated,"I will take care of you", and "tell you husband to drive the car to Szott and I'm going to find the part for you." Larry proceeded to locate the part that was needed, have a 'driver' go pick up the part from another dealership, make the necessary arrangements with the service department, and have vehicle covered by the manufacturer's warranty. By 2:15 pm, I was on the road again !! UNBELIEVEABLE! Ok,so you're saying, it's too good to be true?? or I must be smoking some funny stuff? I'm here to tell you that this was not a dream, this was real, and I have the paperwork to prove it. If you would like to have a similar experience, you need to take a drive to Szott M59 Dodge and ask for Larry Flowers...or play it safe, call ahead of time and make an appointment. Went into the dealership very frustrated after leaving another dealership who really had no desire to help my husband & I in our unique situation. We had an aging SUV and a Mini Cooper (that had to go!) as well as twin 1 year olds so we weren't sure if we needed a van, an SUV or just bite the bullet and get both. Eddie was so patient with my incessant questions and inability to make up my mind on color and options. He worked with us for over 3 hours on the first nice Saturday afternoon of the season. Mike Waite was one of the most professional sales person I have ever met. He didn't try and pressure us into a truck. He told us all about the truck and all it's features. Looked at our trade in and told us what they could do for us. Leaving us to think on our own. Szott is a fantastic place to buy a car, professional and outstanding to work with. Very easy going not your typical car dealership. Ron, Jerry, and Steve are gentlemen and will go the extra mile to get the deal done for you. They are all very professional and take care of business. Thad the owner of the dealership personally called me to thank me for my business. I really would recommend if you have a need for any car to give them a call first. They will make it happen for you. PS. We were in the market for just one car for my wife but the service we got when buying that car we decided to trade in my car and buy another one so we could ride with the Szott logo on the back of two cars. Great job!!! Keep up the great work. Since buying our cars we have referred 6 friends and family to them and they have sold all those folks cars as well. Thanks a ton!

MY WIFE AND I WENT TO SEVERAL DEALERSHIPS PRIOR TO ARRIVING At szott dodge upon entering we were welcomed by the sales manager terry k with a smile and was itroduced to alex p we told him exactly what we were looking for and he found worked out a price almost $2000.00 cheaper than the last dealership the finance manager jerry k was awesome had a rate much lower than my cedit union THEY ROCK!!!!

I have been dealing with Szott 59 Dodge since they came to the town of Highland over 10 years ago. In these 10 years I have bought 7 Caravans, 2 Stratus, been extremely satisfied with the sales and service, and have recommended Szotts to friends and family. Some of them have also become long time customers of Szotts! Szotts is ALWAYS warm, friendly and prepared for me with hot coffee and fresh popped popcorn, even at 8 in the morning! Just recently, I went in to see about trading in a 2008 Grand Caravan and drove out with a new 2011 Caravan. And of course, I grabbed a bag of popcorn and cup of coffee to go! The best part about the deal, aside from fresh popcorn, is Szotts was able to get me a lower payment (even with a hefty rollover), a better interest rate then before and all without having to go to a longer loan term to achieve these results. (Plus, I got a great deal on an extended manufactures warranty too!) Being someone that has shopped many dealers in the Metro Detroit area in the past 20+ years, I have seen many hellgames, heard many xcusesfrom less than honest sales folk and I have even been verbally insulted for not buying from these dealers! Not at Szotts!!! Szotts has always been straight with me. If they couldn do the deal, they tell me. I am glad they are in my town and I will always HIGHLY recommend Szotts to all folks! (Did I mention the fresh popcorn?)

Dealership let us take the vehicle overnight. We went in the next day with our two young children, they made popcorn for the kids while they played basketball and fooseball. The paperwork was quick and easy. Thank you Ron and Chuck.

I was sold on the honesty and by the way we were treated, not just from our salesman but by all the employees we had interaction with. We had our new vehicle w/in just a couple hours of finding it,everything ran very smoothly. The facility was very comforting & I felt very at ease purchasing our vehicle.

Found a 2005 Suburban online and went to look at it, both sales men did an excellent job, they were good individuals to deal with. The used car buyer gave me a better deal for my truck and lowered the price on the car I was looking at. All around efficient, courteous and proffesional service. I would use them again and recommend them for used car buyers.
