Richard Norman was incredibly helpful and kind, making sure we had everything we wanted and easing us through the he process of buying a new RAV4. And when I wanted one car with a specific color, he took us directly to it at a different lot, made sure we got all the time we needed for a test drive. Cool guy, cool dealership, even the financing people (we saw Richie Ables) were great and made everything super simple.

I had a great time at Tansky Toyota. Ryan Cyr was very helpful and answered all my questions. This was my first time financing a vehicle and of course I had a lot of questions and they explained everything very clearly to me. At the end we made a great deal and I'm very happy with the car and with the service post sale as well. Great guy and great dealership. Would strongly recommend.

Richard Norman was wonderful to work with. I had chosen the car I wanted and filled out the application online. When I got there Richard had my car by the door and the paperwork ready for me to sign. Three quick signatures with him and I was off to financing where he was incredibly helpful as well. He did not try to sell me any unnecessary things and had my budget in mind when working the finances.

Thank you Richard Norman for spending the better part of a Saturday (7/30), helping me through the purchasing experience of a 2016 Toyota Tacoma. Richard was patient and put in a lot of leg work to make my deal happen. Richard has a positive attitude, is fair, and demonstrates he likes helping others. I also would like to give a shout out to Richie Ables the finance specialist. At a critical part of the deal, Richie went back to the sales manager to find a way to meet my payment needs. Thank you Tansky Sawmill and especially Richard and Richie for your tireless work in earning my business.

I am sitting in the dealership now just waiting to sign my final papers and I could not be more happy with the team here Due to my personal circumstances I had a very tight window to make a decision and Amel and Nolan were absolutely fantastic! No hard sales, very reasonable and thoughtful advice and information, and they bent over backwards to help me. I'm moving to a different state, but I would gladly travel back to this dealership again !!

I can't overstate the excellent level of customer service that Richard Norman and Tansky Toyota has provided to us with our most recent lease. Prior to our dealing with Tansky and meeting Richard we had not found a dealer that was deserving of our repeat business. This vehicle makes the third one we've squired from Richard. If you're looking for a dealership, and specifically a salesperson, with who you can build a lasting relationship visit Richard at Tansky Toyota.

I am excited to say I purchased a Camry XLE Hybrid today! Richard Norman made the process go very quickly and smoothly. I found the car on the internet and Richard had it parked by the door when I arrived. He gave me the opportunity to drive it without any pressure to purchase. Upon completion of the test drive, Richard answered all of my questions, got me the price we agreed upon, and walked me through the paperwork to title and register the car. Before I left the dealership, I was introduced to Steve King who described the existing warranty and the value of an extended warranty. By the time I got home with the car, I had received an email from Mark Mathews introducing himself as the service manager who had already registered me to use the service scheduling solution provided by Tansky. I have always purchased new cars but today I am happy to report that I had a very positive experience purchasing a certified pre-owned Tansky Toyota. The Tansky team made it a win-win day!

This is my second car purchase with Tansky Toyota! They make the purchasing experience from test driving several vehicles we were interested in, negotiating a fair deal and closing the deal all in a timely manner. I strongly recommend anyone who is interested in getting a great reliable car to go with Tansky Toyota and work with their staff! I also bring my van in for service there on a regular basis and love how Rodney takes care of all the details each time I am in. Thank you to all the people involved in making the purchase an enjoyable one.

We both live in the Cleveland area but it is worth the drive. Thank you.

He knew I was in the market for a Corolla and called me when there was a Corolla special to allow me to take advantage of it. Richard is always professional, helpful and informative and I highly recommend and potential Toyota buyer to look for him. Thanks for your continued awesome service!

I've dealt with dealers in Columbus for service for 40 years and Tansky is by far the best. The reason for that is Rodney Barrett as my service contact. . Having a real person to work with as kind of a concierge to help me cut through the red tape has been a godsend. I wouldn't even think of going anywhere else.

I worked with Richard Norman to purchase my new Toyota and he was pleasant, professional, and informative. He was upfront and did not do the hard sell, which I appreciated. He was courteous and seemed interested in my business, unlike the folks at Toyota Direct who barely introduced themselves to me and failed to be as direct and upfront with me as Mr. Norman was. When I asked Mr. Norman for a quote, he gave one to me and didn't waste my time by trying to repeatedly to get me to come in without giving direct answers to my questions. Toyota Direct told they would "treat me real well" but gave me a bit of a run around and no direct quotes. I'm glad I was able to give Tansky my business instead of Toyota Direct which did not seem particularly interested

We are now leasing new Toyota Corolla and it was the best experience of this type we had in the last 16 years. I was very pleased with Richard Norman's professionalism and warm personality. This was the major factor why after visiting several dealerships we were back to Tansky and signed a lease. The deal was also very good. Thanks, Richard!

I highly recommend that you ask for Richard Norman if you are buying or leasing a new Toyota!!! I have shopped Tansky's Toyota Sawmill Road store before. It has been about 2 years to the day now and all that I can say is WOW! What a difference I experienced compared to previously at Tansky's. Not that I had a bad experience previously; it was actually quite good. But Richard Norman took my Tansky leasing experience to a whole new level! He is a first class, knowledgeable, most professional, and obviously experienced gentleman that will help you to find what you want or need in a vehicle. AND, he will help you to understand why a particular vehicle purchase or lease makes sense or not based upon YOUR plans! I was treated with the utmost respect and professionalism and you will be too! At no point did I ever feel like he was trying to take me over-budget or pay more than I could comfortably afford to fill his pockets! You will experience how truly satisfying car buying or leasing should be, with Richard Norman! Tansky has a diamond in Mr. Norman compared to my previous experience with them. I am a business owner myself and I believe that if Richard's character was duplicated across the board at Tansky; Another Tansky dealership location would be eminent. Look out Germain!

It was easy to get what I wanted and at a fair price. The specific model / color / options was not available in the region or even in the US, so they ordered the vehicle to our exact specification. They recognize that there are multiple places on the internet that show exact invoice breakdown and work a fair price based on that information. We had a handshake agreement on the price relative to invoice since it could vary from the time we ordered to the time it got in. (The price didn't vary and the actual invoice exactly matched the internet.) They honored a cash back deal that Toyota had added after we ordered the car. We were done with paperwork and I was driving the car in a couple hours.

I had an excellent experience working with Bob Lutrell, but had a terrible experience waiting for paperwork to be completed. When it was finally completed, I talked to the person who was responsible and complained. He was not remorseful or apologetic and asked me, "Do you want the car or not?" I was so upset that I was almost ready to walk out. As i was interested in not prolonging the process any longer than necessary, I had to hold my nose, swallow my pride and start to sign paperwork.Note that this was a simple deal. No trade-in. No financing. I had impeccable credit rating. I have lived in the same house for 9 years. It was a simple all cash deal. Despite its simplicity, it took more than 3 hours to complete the paperwork. I had to borrow a car as I had another appointment and was quite surprised that when I came back, the paperwork was still not completed.

We leased a Toyota Highlander in 2011. The lease was due and we had an offer from Toyota to trade in and skip three payments. Went back to Tansky to do this. Our vehicle was 6,000 miles UNDER limit, in great condition. They explained that the trade was 'worth nothing' and that payments on the new Highlander would be $200/month HIGHER than on the current lease. When I objected to the dramatic increase in price I was told that I "just don't understand the market". Well, I found a 2014 Highlander at a dealership across town - the used Highlander had $2,000 in value and the payment is $20 higher than the old payment. Seems I do understand the market after all. And Tansky will never be a part of it for me or anyone I encounter in this realm.

She made me feel comfortable and confident in her knowledge. She treated me with respect. She introduced me to Richard and the two of them worked hard to get me the car at the price I wanted. My family purchased a new Toyota Landcuiser on 3/8/14 . We originally considered purchasing a Lexus LX 570 but decided on the Landcruiser due them being almost the same vehicle with only a few differences but the Landcruiser was at a better price point. The sales process went smooth and quick. Richard Norman and Oliver Gray were both involved throughout the whole process taking on different roles to expedite the transaction. We were not able to take the new car home the night of purchase due to Richard wanting to make sure the car was washed/detailed and a few other action items taken care of. My family and I went back to the dealership on Tuesday 3/11/14 to pick up the vehicle. I will admit to having a few reservations on how we would be treated from a Toyota dealership as compared to our other experiences from Lexus and BMW but all those concerns were quickly put to rest. Both RIchard and Oliver took more than ample time to walk me through the owners manuals, and through all the technical nuiances of the Landcruiser. They also introduced me to the Service department personel. All in all, I probably spent 2 hours going over every aspect of the vehicle to make sure I understood all it's features. Neither RIchard or Oliver tried to rush or push me through the process. I can actually say I felt like a valued customer. The process was right on par with what I would expect from a much more expensive automotive dealership. I would not hesitate to recommend Tansky, and more importantly Richard Norman and Oliver Gray, to any of my friends or business collegues

When I explained the issue I was having with my 2013 Toyota Prius to Justin Mullis at the service desk, he graciously said, "come with me and let's see what we have here. Now,don't feel bad if it is what I think it is." As he moved into the driver seat and checked the wheel controlling my lights, he gently explained a lot of other people had the same issue. "It happens all the time." He readjusted the wheel, explained how it functioned, and answered my questions with no condescension. He remained happily informative and supportive, assuring me he had fixed the "problem". He gave me his card with direct line to call if the problem recurred, promising I would not have to wait for an appointment if he had not resolved this issue. What more can anyone ask for in a service technician? Quick, assured technical solution provided freely, with supportive and caring attitude. Justin Mullis is a gem.

As we entered the show room at Tansky Toyota, Richard Norman greeted us with personal warmth and professionalism. We had been looking for a "gently used" Toyota Avalon and had searched several dealerships in our area. When we described the type of vehicle we were hoping to find, Richard had 2 vehicles brought up to the door for us to drive. His attentiveness to detail was excellent as he had quickly and efficiently listened to our needs. We drove both cars and determined which car that we preferred. As with all buyers, there are limitations of funds with which we had to deal. Richard Norman listened to our preferences and determined what would be the price point for us to make the final decision. He worked well with the management team to help us all receive a win-win solution. Compared to the other dealerships that we had searched for similar vehicles, Tansky has excellent choices and inventory. Richard's sense of humor might not be needed for other buyers; however, we did not tell him that our son had been in an eleven car pile up the previous Saturday. We also had a car in service at Tansky being prepared to give to our son. We were under a great deal of stress which we did not share with Richard. His sense of humor became a means of relieving our stress as he made the process easy and efficient for us. We would highly recommend Richard Norman and Tansky Toyota to all of our friends and relatives. We purchased a 2011 Toyota Avalon in excellent condition.

Wow! What a great car buying experience! I recently purchased a new Toyota Avalon from Tansky and absolutely love the car and the customer service I received. Richard Norman was my salesperson and was extremely professional, knowledgable, and personable. My girlfriend had purchased a Highlander a few days before from Richard and he was so fun to deal with that I went back a few days later and got the Avalon. Richard made the whole process for both vehicles straight forward and hassle free. Working with me to get the best deal and financing, Richard easily sold me a fantastic car at a great price. I recieved a comprehensive explanation of what was needed and given the opportunity to ask questions. The wait area was both clean and comfortable with comfy chairs and couches. A big plus a warm and inviting free selection of hot beverages were available to make my wait even more inviting. The wait time was not overly long

I allways get the best service and prices at Tansky. My car is 14 years old (Avalon) and i just LOVE it....still runs well and looks great after a good cleaning last year over at the 161 facility. Will be looking for a new car at the end of this year and would love to buy the Avalon again....from Tansky with the right price. The car i have now was purchased from Tansky. Your new look in the show room and all over are beautiful.

Warren Mead is an excellent sales rep. His sensitivity to our needs for a new lease of a matched pair of Camrys was outstanding. This is the second lease Warren has set up for us for a matched pair of Camrys.

Came to Tansky to buy out my lease the end of November. Greg the pre-owned sales manager assisted me at first and showed me my options, though in the end I decided to purchase my lease. Did all the paperwork with Erica Wilson and as things should have progressed, I should have received all my paperwork to go to the BMV and register the vehicle before the 30 day temporary license plate/tags expire. Well, three days before the expiration date (Thursday), I still haven't received any of my paperwork. I call the dealership and ask to speak with Erica. I explained to her that I understand there could be delays with the holidays in the mix too, but I would appreciate it if they could issue another 30 day temp. plate/tags so I would not have to drive around illegally. She said that they did not reissue temporary plates, and that my paperwork will hopefully be available on Friday. I told her that I could not live off her 'hopefully' and needed a more 'solid' solution. I asked her if the paperwork didn't come as 'hopefully' with the holiday, whether I would have to drive around illegally with expired temp. tags/plates and risk getting a ticket. She said that the dealership will pay for the penalty if I received a ticket due to the expired temp. plates/tags. Finding this to be pretty ridiculous that a dealership would advise someone to go ahead and drive around illegally, I requested that to be in writing. She explained that this was something she was told to tell clients when they had this issue, and I said, "that's fine, just give it to me on your letterhead, in writing with a signature from an authorized representative of the dealership." I told her that I had no issues of picking up that up in writing, so I had something to protect myself. She said she had to speak with the manager, and when she got back, the story changed again. "You can go to the BMV, they will reissue you a new 30 day tag, and we will reimburse you for the cost of it." I found this slightly dumbfounding, and asked her how this issue had suddenly because my problem because of the lag between either the dealership, Toyota Financial, or the BMV; "I am supposed to take time out of my work day, to do this work that I really shouldn't have to be doing?" No comments, same answer from her, as she started rambling off the many reasons why this could have happened. She explained that the title clerk had left for the day and they cannot check whether or not they have received my paperwork. I decide to swing by there after work and ask them to check with the title clerk first thing in the morning whether or not they have my paperwork, and whether or not so that they could call me so I could either swing by the dealership or just go to the BMV directly. Sean Stevenson greeted me and gladly helped me, promising that he would let me know in the morning. Which he did (probably the only person in the whole dealership right now keeping their word), and they did not receive my paperwork yet. He said that the title clerk was hopeful that it would come in later in the day, but he said to just check back in Saturday (today, the day before my tags expire) as it should be there. This morning (Saturday) I call the BMV to see whether or not it is even possible to get a 30 day tag by myself. The BMV said that if the title/paperwork had already been issued by the BMV, they cannot reissue a 30 day tag, that I would have to go to the dealership and they have to do it. I called this morning to the dealership and let them know my findings - this time Richie Ables was the lucky man (sorry) to receive my phone call and I tried to explain the situation (which he was so eager to hear; NOT), and he said that he would call upstairs so they can check right after he got off the phone with me. This was 9:30am, so I explained to him that this was time sensitive and it would be very appreciated if they could let me know as soon as possible, since the BMV is not open tomorrow (Sunday) when this expires. Two hours later, still no call back; upstairs must be very far away. I give them another call, and Greg actually answers this time. I explained to him again the situation (which I'm sure he's already heard about it) in a very tired voice, and ask him, with many 'please' and 'thank you's, that I was just trying to find out whether or not I can go to the BMV to get my license plates. He said that he would call me back - still hasn't happened yet. This really gives a bad rep to the whole car industry, and now I understand why people feel the way they do. It is hard to change people's minds; but you can with integrity, and just TREATING PEOPLE THE WAY YOU WANT TO BE TREATED. I understand that this is a sale that hardly affects the dealership probably; however that doesn't mean that it is not important. It shouldn't be the client's fault that there was some sort of lag in the process, which could have been fixed if they would perhaps understand the situation to more than the fact that the client is 'badgering' them. No one likes to constantly be on hold, or feel like they are a pest, this should not be something that I would or should have to worry about in a normal situation. Giving the client a complete runaround; indirect non-answers; not returning phone calls; trying to ignore the situation; should not be the way a business functions, let alone a business where customer service is a high priority. Hopefully the rest of the story will go much smoother from here, but it looks highly unlikely.

I really disappointed about this dealer. I had an issue with my car stirring and went to check what is wrong with it. My car is a Toyota used certified vehicle with comprehensive warranty, but they wanted me to take my car back to the original dealer which I bought. When I contacted for service appointment I clearly communicated that this was bought from different dealer and got clarified whether I will get the warranty coverage. But when I went for the checking they were telling totally different story and were really rude on me. I will not recommend any one.

Very poor service. I went for oil change on my camry and they forget to reset the oil change indicator. Previously i went for my window repair they gave me estimate of one day and set the appointment. When i went to get it fixed after end of day they said they don't have spare and advised me to take my car back which was opened for repair. What should i conclude out of this they don;t have any idea about repair estimates time.I will not recommend any one.

Last year, we purchased a car at Toyota West, because we never felt that Tansky was "hungry" enough for our business. We thought this year would be different. I did not want to drive to Toyota West this year, but I am going to now. The 72 months interest-free enticed us. We were approved online and test drove our Sienna. We were given an e-Price with its "No HAGGLE, NO GIMMICKS" guarantee. I agreed to the price. Today, we received a note that the 60 months (what we selected instead of 72) interest free did not include a $1,500 rebate. The representative, Jeremy Ellis, said it was an oversight on their part. This raised our price to $25 more a month. After closer inspection to the fine print, I found that the language was confusing and contradictory:Line one: Internet price includes all rebates, incentives and special advertisement offers. Next line: Tanksy exclusive 0% for 72 months may not be combined with anoy other promotion or e-pricing.To me, this is not "no haggle, no gimmicks" as they preach as gospel. Moreover, the sales representative said they do everything possible to be "ethnical." They made car buying frustrating and once again, seemed disinterested in selling a car. The image they convey is that the cars will sell themselves, and other customers will come along anyway. i would suggest going to Toyota West instead. These guys are not hungry and are not "transparent." I am very disappointed because my wife and I really liked the vehicle and now we have to walk away and start over.

This was my first car purchase, and it was AWESOME!!! I had graduated in Dec and needed a new car with the help of the graduate financing. I initially only came to test drive cars since I was still debating between leasing and buying. My first car I ever had was a camry so naturally I wanted another one. I test drove the camry hybrid and fell in love with it only to be let down by the knowledge that the graduate financing does not apply to the hybrids. So I settled on a regular camry, but it NEEDED to have a moon roof. There wasn't one there on the lot with a moon roof and I wasn't expecting to buy, but Warren was great so I ended up buying a new camry with getting the moon roof installed. I bought it on a monday and was driving it on thursday. Before I left the lot Warren showed me how to use the blu-tooth hook up for my phone, and now I rarely listen to the radio. I had a great experience with Tansky Sawmill and if I ever need a new car I will be going back to them!

My mom and I went in to check out the Toyotas and we were with our friends whom already put a deposit on the Toyota that they wanted the problem was that he pre-ordered the Toyota in May of 2012 and every time he went back to check on the status of where the Toyota was the dealership kept telling him "oh it'll be here next month...next month....next month...and then finally said it would arrive in September." They only finally gave us a real answer of the arrival of the car when we went to the dealership and confronted them about the car, my mom's friend's son needed the car for work; the dealership assured him before that it would arrive earlier before his mom got back from vacation because they currently only have one car and needed another car for work. The people at the dealership led us around in circles and could not come up with one straight answer. We also asked the dealership about cars of the same models and we were told that they have already sold them to other people which made me- especially angry because my friend here preordered the car and after 4 months he was told he would not get the car until September. The Manager was also very rude, we wanted a guarantee that the car would arrive when they said so but they could not give the guarantee. The manager also said "I cannot guarantee the sun will come up tomorrow". Well, of course it will come up....even a child knows that I would even be willing to bet my own life that the sun will come up tomorrow...It was a very unpleasant experience with Tansky Toyota. Since I was also looking for a car I went to another dealership- Toyota West of Columbus and they had much more friendly service, and they were so much more upfront with us than Tansky Toyota. Honesty in my book goes a very long way. Toyota West of Columbus in my book, is one hundred times better than Tansky Toyota of Sawmill. At Toyota West we also asked about the same car my friend wanted from Tansky of Sawmill and they had one shipping in 10 days, and they GUARANTEED us that it would arrive before September, when we waited around 4 months from Tansky to obtain, Toyota West would obtain the car way earlier than Tansky- within 10 days it was going to be shipped out....If you are going to buy a car I would recommend going to Toyota West of Columbus they have superb treatment of their customer......in all honesty....do not ever go to Sawmill Tansky....before even heading there my mother and brother both disliked the customer service.( It was not their first time there but was my first time).

The entire process was easy and seamless; love Scion's Pure Pricing. No pressues, the price is what it is. As for Warren, I would highly recommend requesting him. He is very personable and friendly, and knew the Scion FR-S inside and out. In the middle of the deal, I had to leave and Warren did not pressure me to stay at all. Per my request, he called me and discussed the deal further and then set up a new time to meet.I would highly recommend Tansky Toyota/Scion as well as Warren. It was the best car buying experience I've ever had.

Went to Direct Toyota and would never step foot on dealership again. Rude, rude employees. Tried Tansky as we have heard good things about them but wasn't sure I wanted to travel that far and am so glad I did. Kody was a personable, non pressure sales man. Thoroughly enjoyed working with him, Manager, Kyle, was brought out to talk with us and was plesantly surprised again not to be pressured and to be treated so nicely. Price was very fair and will certainly buy my next car from Tansky. Great people to work with!!

We were disappointed to take a test drive with a salesperson who spent the majority of the drive on his phone texting from the back seat. He had little to say about the car and when we asked for details, he attempted to read (backwards) from the sticker on the passenger side window. When we complained about the sound of the engine after a short highway test drive, he noted that he forgot to mention we may have had the car in the wrong gear, as often happens to people new to the updated gear shift (automatic). Because traffic was so congested, we could not take another test drive. We stayed long enough to get a quote and it was far higher than we were willing to pay. What a disappointment, as Tansky is just around the corner from where we live and we had to drive many miles to another dealer to get the service we expected.

After a very negative experience with Toyota Direct, My family drove to Tansky. There were were all warmly greeted by Mr. John Henry who took the time to answer all my son's questions as my wife and I looked at the 2010 Yaris. After a test drive we spoke with Mr. Christopher Scott about our trade and the price for the Yaris. Mr. Scott was direct with us regarding the pricing, the value for our trade and took the time to even laugh when my son asked him to lower his voice as he was having trouble hearing the TV show he was watching nearby. Even when we said we wanted to think about it, neither Mr. Scott or Mr. Henry made any last minute deals or try to pressure us into buying right then and there as had happen to me at other dealers. The next day we came back to get the Yaris. This time we worked with Mr. Jordan Fisher who also greeted us warmly and told us that Mr. Henry was off. Mr. Fisher also took the time to help answer all of our questions (including my son's) and helped us as we decided between the 3 door hatch or the 4 door sedan. As we closed the deal, Mr. Scott again worked with us to complete the transaction and to get everything process as smoothly as possible while Mr. Fisher helped to get the car ready for us and then gave us a tour of the dealership so we knew who to contact for our service and parts. When we found a scratch on the car while having the coating put on at the body shop, both Mr. Fisher and Mr. Scott went the extra mile to help correct the situation in a way that worked for everyone. When I took the car in for its 5000 mile service, Mr. Fisher made it a point to come by and check to see how we were liking the car but also to catch up with how me and my family were doing. This meant a lot as it indicated the level of commitment he has to my satisfaction as a customer...even if it was just a Yaris. Its this level of customer service that will bring me back to Tansky for my next car.

We were commuting to Columbus, Ohio from NY state to the James Cancer Center to participate in a leukemia Clinical Trial when our 2008 Prius began sounding like it was having brake or wheel bearing trouble. Our NY dealer could not give us an appointment to even look at the car for several days and we were afraid to make many more 450 mile one way trips with the fear of a breakdown mid way. While at our hotel in Columbus I called Tansky Toyota and was told by Service Dept. scheduler, Courtney to hold while she could try and fit us in. She got us an appointment to check the vehicle the morning of our departure. Courtney was one of the most pleasant and efficient car dealer employee I have ever dealt with. A bad wheel bearing was diagnosed as needing replacement but safe to drive on for another round trip as parts would have to be ordered. Because our own dealer in NY could not service our car in a timely fashion, we scheduled the car to be left off at Tansky's upon our return to Ohio the next week in order to be repaired. My need for transportation to and from the hotel to hospital was graciously supplied by Tansky Toyota with a loaner car, free of charge. The repair was done under warrantee and ready for our return trip to NY in a short time. All around experience could not have been better. Because of the great folks at Tansky we might be buying a newer Prius later this year, as I will be taking cancer treatment at the James Cancer Center for some time to come.Wayne WellsCameron Mills, NY 14820

My wife and I were both in the market for new cars. As we drove around we found that Tansky was the only dealership that was still open. We were promptly (not rudely) greeted by Jordan who asked if we had any questions or just wanted to look around. As we talked with Jordan about what we were looking for, he took us around the lot pointing out cars that we might like. He answered all our questions honestly and when we took a few test drives he went with us. As we all got into the first car he stated, "Pretend that I'm not here, but ask questions if you have them." He did just as he said. After a little polite conversation he sat quietly in the back and let my wife and I discuss the good and the bad of the car that we were riding in. He never interrupted, argued or defended the car we were in. When we were done he asked what we liked and didn't like about the car we had driven. Each car we drove, three in all, he was patient, quiet and respectful of my wife and I.When we had found the car that we wanted Jordan brought us into the offices to start the paperwork. It was at this time that we were introduced to Kyle the manager. Kyle was very helpful in making sure that my wife could afford the car and that her payments fit the budget that she had set. Kyle gave financing options to us and stayed within the payments that my wife said that she could afford. There was never any push to purchase something that she could not afford. Kyle remained respectful throughout the entire process. There was never any pushing or rushing through the entire car buying process.I went back the next day to purchase a truck for myself and specifically asked for Jordan and Kyle to help me. I was treated with as much respect and patience as my wife was shown the night before. Given that we didn't leave the dealership until after 10pm (which is an hour after they close) and I was there bright and early the next day, I was expecting a little grogginess or shortness with the sales staff, but I can happily say that all I got was a good honest welcome back and lots of good help.I would highly recommend working with the people from Tansky.

I requested price quotes on Corolla, Elantra, Civic, and Sentra from almost all Columbus area dealers over the net, and decided to get a Corolla for low price and reliability. Tansky's was the first to set me a time for visit, and committed to match the quote I got from Germain. Well, there of course was some at the spot haggling still to be done but they eventually did match the price promised, and I was very satisfied with everything. Well, that was before the finance guy kept pushing me to buy this and that for extra for tons of money, and eventually made me swallow the GAP insurance whereas I could have gotten it for so much cheaper from my insurance company. When I picked up the vehicle, everything seemed fine until I checked toyotaownersonline.com and realized that they did not perform the stuck accelerator recall service. So in 2-weeks time, I was back at the dealership, although the service was no hassle. Just out of curiosity, I checked a few other in-stock vehicle VINs randomly and realized that Tansky's simply do not perform the recall on in-stock vehicles!!! Are they nuts? The bottom line is -1. I recommend Tansky's for the price. Check price first, and they will negotiate as long as you stick to your gun.2. Do not buy absolutely *anything* extra from the finance department (the guy who does your paperworks). It's all rip-offs.3. Before taking delivery of the vehicle, check toyotaownersonline.com to make sure that your car doesn't have an open recall. Make them perform the recall before pick-up, if needed.

I ordered a 2010 Prius from Tansky in May after looking over and pricing it at the Toyota web site. The Tansky Internet salesman, Ron Ball took my deposit of $500 and estimated delivery in 4 to 8 weeks. When asked the price, he wrote the MSRP throwing in free floor mats, I was given no contract but the Toyota web site gave me a printout of an itemized list ending with the MSRP. When I had heard nothing by the end of July, I called and there was no news of expected delivery and no specific information of progress with the order. They tried to get me to take my deposit back or except another car. I wanted the car I ordered. I said I would wait. After five months from the order date, Ron Ball called and said my Prius was in. I went that day to finalize the deal. I went over the figures with Ron Ball and they did not match the printout I had gotten from Toyota. The main difference was the price for the options had gone up from $3600 to $3830. I argued that I ought to have the price that Toyota sent me when I ordered the car five months earlier. They agreed to that. However I was surprised to learn that they wanted to charge me $250 for a docking fee above what was indicated from Toyota. The printout I had from Toyota listed "Delivery, Processing, & Handling Fee = $750" I complained that not disclosing this additional $250 was an unfair practice. I felt I had been patient and dealt with them fairly and I had been given no indication of what I considered a surprise charge in light of $750 figure that Toyota listed. Jon Ball, the sales manager stepped in an argued with me that all the dealerships do this. I didn't doubt that, but he couldn't understand that I would have liked to have had some knowledge of this ahead of time. I wanted to agree to disagree, pay their price and leave with the car I had ordered and waited five months for. I thought Ron and I were closing the deal when he took my drivers license, had me sign papers, and verify my insurance. It was then that Bob McGlone, the general sales manager came over and wanted to resume the disagreement over the $250. After he heard my viewpoint he said I'm not going to sell you the car and you have nothing, (meaning a contract). I told them I wasn't refusing to pay their docking fee, but I didn't like the way it was sprung on me. I was flabbergasted that he refused to sell me the car based on my not agreeing with their policies. When I called to ask for my deposit back I told Mr. McGlone that I suspected they just wanted to sell the car to someone for more money, he said, " No, I just don't want to sell it to you." From my experience with both the manufacturer and the dealer, it seems there is no accountability and little congruity between the two and incredible arrogance on the part of Tansky sales personnel.

Toyotas are great. Tansky sucks! But just to be fair, they did have the best price for my car. That's why they have "good" for price. I requested a quote through Toyota.com, and they were the last to send me the quote. That's after Toyota asked me if I received the requested quote and I answered that I didn't. Buying a brand new Toyota could have been from anywhere. I asked quotes from everyone and asked everyone to compete. Tansky won. Bought it from them. The first time I walked into Tansky to look at a car but wasn't ready to buy, the salesman treated me like horribly. On the day of the purchase, the sales rep was alright. It was a different rep. The paper work is misleading. I guess they are used to people not reading anything and just signing with the excitement of the car purchase. They basically asked you to give up your right to privacy. They state that they would sell my information unless I request another form, fill it and request them not to sell my info. BE VERY CAREFUL ON THIS POINT. And of course, they unnecessarily runs my credit. I specifically told them that I wanted to apply for Toyota Financing, but they had to run their own credit check without telling me. Not that I mind, but I just HATE the fact that they would just lie to me and think that they would get away with it. If they had told me truthfully, it would have been okay. The paperwork guy was something else too. Imagine a guy who's full of himself and is trying to sell you something with very little interest in you or your purchase. But at the end of the transaction, they did mention over and over again that they would like to have the best review on the Toyota Survey. And they sent me a letter for that too. They know next to nothing about accessories for your car. So, don't even bother. They will recommend you to another horrid place, Columbus Car Audio and Accessories, to get accessories. To sum it up. I love my Toyota. Tansky had the best price this time around. If the price was the same, I'd buy from some place else. There were a few nice reps from Buyers and Germain.Fast forward a few months:I had my first oil change at Tansky yesterday. I was in line just like everyone else. (I am Asian, btw.) A non-ethnic lady came in after me. The service desk person chooses to help the non-ethnic lady. At that point, one of his colleagues point out the fact that I was in line and I was there first. The service desk person glanced at me, ignored me and continued to help the non-ethnic lady. Obviously, I was not happy about the situation. I calmly walked to the reception area to ask for someone to speak to. There was apparently no other managers other than the sales manager. Understandably, he didn't care much. It wasn't his department. So, I talked to the reception lady again. She said someone would call me.This morning, I received a call from Kyle the service manager, who was very nice. He understood the situation and said that he would talk to his service team and that his GM would be calling me. I was very please with how Kyle handled it.About half an hour later, I received a call from Bob the GM. I was expecting a generic apology and yada yada yada. But that was not the case. Instead of that, he did a few things:1. he accused me of racism for identifying the other lady as a different race2. defended his racist employee3. started questioning my color (how rude)4. pointed out the fact I didn't give them a 100% on the Toyota review because they ran unauthorized credit checks when I was about to buy my carAt that point, I told Bob that we should stop this call and never call me again, politely. And he said that he doesn't want me at his dealership anymore. O Bob, why would I come back? How silly of you!

This was NOT a very good experience, but in the end was a blessing in disguise. I went in with my daughter intent on purchasing a new 2008 Scion for cash-no financing. The saleswoman was OK, but the sales manager soured the deal. After I turned down the first offer (Full MSRP and 1/2 Kelley Blue Book trade-in value for my daughter's car) the sales manager came over to speak to us by himself. He spoke down to me, "patiently explaining" why this was such a good deal: their car was so wonderful-they couldn't possibly take less than the sticker, and my daughter's trade-in was little more than a piece of junk-they were doing us a favor by taking it off our hands. We left and went to Roby Mitsubishi. (My daughter had really wanted an Eclipse, but we thought it was out of our price range.) To be brief, Roby's salesman and sales manager treated us with courtesy and respect. They gave us an unbelievable deal! We drove away with the car of her dreams (an Eclipse with a higher sticker price) for $2000 less than Tansky's final offer for the Scion. We are so grateful to Tansky's. Had they made us a reasonable offer, we would have written the check for a car my daughter had secretly settled for instead of the car she really wanted.

Negotiated a lease, put a deposit down on the car, waited three weeks for delivery, went in to pick up car, only to be told that the initial paperwork had been lost, and that the best they could offer was $130 a month MORE than the previously negotiated offer.

I gave this dealer a ver bad rating. they deserve it. Was offered $3000 for a car selling privately for 9-10k. Salesman was nice and friendly,( THE ONLY REASON THEY GOT A 2). The finance manager insulted me horribly. Was there to trade a car for a brand new one. When I did not accept their offer She stood up and I was told a new car was not right for me. She threw the sales guy a list of Used cars and told him to show me the USED inventory, and walked off as if I was a waste of time. UGGGH! Well I bought the same new car I was (NOT RIGHT FOR), at another dealer near there , and got a fair trade value. I recommend going anywhere but Tansky. I was treated like a stupid kid who was wasting their time. I even have established credit through Toyota! The bad thing is I think the sales guy knew I was being treated unfairly and understood when I refused to look at their Used cars. He is a good sales guy working under the wrong bosses.

BAD experience with service center at TANSKY TOYOTA DUBLIN OHThe used vehicle I bought from TANSKY TOYOTA gave me starting trouble just 24 days after the purchase from TANSKY TOYOTA Sawmill Road Dublin. I had to tow it to their TANSKY TOYOTA Service Center to get it fixed. The quality of service can be good, at the cost of a lot of money. TANSKY TOYOTA SERVICE CENER at Dublin has a way of squeezing your money out. THIIS IS PRIMARILY DONE BY SOME SERVICE REPRASENTATIVES IN CALCULATIION OF HOURS OF LABOR. My vehicle was brought in for service before noon and I got a call from my service personal before 4 pm, informing that it is ready for pick up. My out pocket expenses was over $ 900. They billed over $ 550 for labor alone. During our telephone conversation the representative happened to mention that it was done by AN experienced technician. Two hours labor claimed was just for cleaning some oil spill.

What’s more, Tansky Sawmill Toyota Scion of Dublin has been on the market for a very long time and remains the preferred dealership for buyers looking for used cars and trucks for sale. From low mileage used cars to cheapest used cars, there is something for you from Tansky Sawmill Toyota Scion. Check out the listings today to find the right car for yourself. Tansky Sawmill Toyota Scion is definitely the best place to buy used cars online.
