Victor, our sales person don't really need my 5 star review but I am going to post it anyway. I am not even the customer -- the customer was my dad (who does not have Yelp Acct). My family had a pleasant, courteous and polite buying experience. Victor went through all the paperwork with my dad, and got to explain every single item in a colloquial manner that everybody could understand, then he proceeded to courteously & professionally answered all the questions that a first time buyer would have. My dad got all the bells & whistles, that Victor could get for him on his Chevy Tahoe. Even though it was late, it was Sunday, and on top of everything it was raining Victor had a smile from the get go, until my dad was on his way to Central Valley!Even though my dad is sometimes a hard person to deal with Victor had so much patience with him & my mom. He introduce them to his manager to finalize all the paperwork, he was worried about the rain & my dad getting all crazy on his new truck. Victor, are you even real? BTW, my family made safe to the Central Valley and want to extend some special thanks to you and the team behind the curtains :)FIVE BIG STARS. You're just more proof that there is still nice sales people somewhere out there like Tom Bell Chevrolet!

Took my new truck with only 2300 miles in for a service recall and a couple of issues that needed to be resolved. After sitting there waiting for 9 hours they finally came and said they had found a problem but didn't know what it was and asked if I wanted to come back or leave it. Shop foreman was the only one that even tried to keep me informed all day, not once did the service advisor check. So they put me into a rental (which took another 90 min). So the next afternoon (today) I called the service advisor to inquire about my vehicle 2 hours before they close. He stated he would have to check with the shop foreman and call me right back. Never got a call back at this point so still do not know what is going on. The shop foreman seems to be the only one that actually knew what he was doing. I will drive 30 miles to another dealership and will not be going back here in the future. This was simply closer and convenient location.

All of the personnel who I came in contact with were knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Larry Stafford was especially helpful navigating the details of the sale and in thoroughly demonstrating operational features of my car at delivery. Tish Garcilazo was efficient and helpful completing the paperwork well within my special time constraints. Steve, Danny and others on the team also made me feel welcome and at home while at the dealership. Larry also gave me a tour of the facilities and I re-acquainted with Delicia L. Shoaff who I already knew from service contacts with my prior car. She has always been reliable and helpful when service needs arose, and I am happy to find her there to help with the new car. All in all it was a pleasant buying experience and I will certainly recommend Larry and the dealership to friends and family. BTW, I love my new Cruze LS!

We had our rear bumper replaced on our 2015 Impala at your collision center following an accident. Dave was the BEST!!!! He ordered the bumper in advance so that I could continue to drive my car (which I love) and reduced the time that I had to drive a rental (which I hated). The car was complete in less than 2 days and I got my wonderful car back looking great. Dave's customer service is impeccable. He deserves a promotion!

Erica was fast and friendly. She was very efficient in aniticpating my needs. She was a step ahead in everything. She didn't let me wait for hours in the waiting room, letting me know I'd be waiting for a while that day. She recommended and offered I take the shuttle and even set me up with a rental car without even asking me when my car had to stay a couple of days to be fixed. I have been servicing my car here since I bought it at Tom Bell in 2011 and have never recieved better service. I was really surprised and thankful that someone finally provided some customer service. It made me feel a little better about the piece of crap car I unfortunately purchased.

The dealers were great people. Only thing I didn't like was that they try to insult me and overcharging me for a car that they called me and asked me to come look at it when they were supposed be doing me a favor. And then they brought the car to our house at night time and it had scratches all over it so I took it back the next day and they kind of just blew it off. It's a brand-new car they shouldn't have scratches.

The individual who called me and set up the service appointment regarding the software update for my one vehicle indicated it would be a 20 minute update. I am so glad the dealership has a courtesy shuttle because I would have been waiting from 7:40-10:00 when the service work was completed. Everything was great. Jason, James and Jon took great care of us. Expediting the process and listening to our needs. Overall, I would recommend, but with hesitation. Reason being, when transferring items from one car to the next, I mistakenly left my grandson's Frozen CD in the player of the trade-in vehicle. Unfortunately, someone in your circle decided they needed the CD more than my grandson. This is unfortunate and the response in attempting to retrieve the CD has been less than thoughtful or pro-active. Knowing that one's belongings have no worth among staff at Tom Bell is a little disheartening after such positive experience. Something to think about.

initially I had some difficulty getting my truck in for service. I had an appointment but when I cam in for it, the Service department was too busy to my vehicle at the appointed time. I live in Forest Falls and your shuttle was not prepared to take me that far and it was going to be too long to wait. My Service writer suggested I call in the next morning before coming in. So the next day I called and she said your service guys were still too backed up and I should call again the day. I called the next day (4 times) and she wasn't even in the office that day. I called the main service desk and I got to talk to Dee. Dee said, "We're good, come on in" So I did. When I got in Dee took me right away and handed me over to Jeremy. I did wait for 2 hours but my vehicle (2006 Avalanche) was not exhibiting the problem, so Jeremy could not figure out what needed to be fixed or replaced. Initially I was frustrate d that it took 2 hours with no resolution, however, Dee and Jeremy explained the whole deal and I was not charged for any services that day and they told me to come in as soon as possible when it starts happening again. So on Monday morning the problem reoccurred and I brought my truck in, Dee took me right away, Jeremy got right on it, the problem was fixed and I'm back on the road. Alls well that ends well but there was some frustration early on. Thank goodness for Dee's pleasant customer service mentality and Jeremy's expedience in fixing the problem once it was diagnosable. also, thx for allowing for a AAA discount!

had a appointment to due fuel injection flush and mass air flow sensor cleaned per Erica S. 1526 recommendation as part of my vehicles 30,000 to 35,000 mile services. Was told it would take approximately 2 hours. While I was waiting I took a walk around the dealership. Everyone there is so nice. And once again my vehicle was ready sooner then it was suppose to be.

Took my Terrain to Tom Bell 2 days before my warranty was to expire for engine noise; other local dealer ignored my concerns and did nothing. Technicians at Tom Bell weren't sure about excessive engine noise but did notice extremely low oil level; at the time I had 3500 miles on a 5000 mile oil change schedule. The immediately started an 'excessive oil consumption' test and after the 3000 mile check determined it needed new rings/ pistons. I got my car back in 5 days and everything seems great. No fluid leaks and engine very quiet; techs did find broken timing chain tensioners which was making the engine noise I had been complaining about. All seem good now. Kudos to Erica Schilling (Service Writer) for her take-charge attitude and excellent Customer Service commitment.

Our sales associate Michael was outstanding. He is very personable, easy to work with . We told him what we wanted and the price we were comfortable with and he made it happen. After visiting other dealerships to see price comparison and inventory it was not a good experience. The customer service was awful at best, dealing with and arrogant manager for 4 hours only to be told they wouldn't make the deal. When we came to check it out, and met Larry the Salesman. He was very knowledgeable, and never pushy about a sale. He made sure all of our questions and concerns were answered, and worked very hard on getting everything to fit our budget. After meeting a couple of salesman these past few weeks, Larry was a breath of fresh air! Not anything like the uncomfortably awkward and pushy sales guys we have run into. When we made the deal , we were transferred into a room to sign the papers and met another wonderful man! Forgive me, as I can not remember his name! It doesnt discount the fact he was amazing! Explaining all the extended warranty options, and signing papers. He was friendly, smart, never pushy and never boring. Without making us feel rushed; he got us out of there quickly and into our new truck. The entire experience was great! I will definitely recommend Tom Bell to friends & Family. When its time to buy a new car, I will probably try Tom Bell first!

Therefore, I (Danielle) will be writing about my personal experience. Josh Petty is a phenomenal Tombell Employee! He takes such good care of his customers and works with our busy/difficult schedules. One can tell that he not only wants to do well at his job, but he actually cares about his customers and even considers our financial states (ex: Paying my student loans) when working with me. My Pink Truck needed a lot of work done to it this time and I knew that I could trust Josh to investigate all the issues/look up my account info to let me know what absolutely had to be serviced, inform me of what he recommended we do, and what I could plan to have done the future. The way he breaks down everything, such as the suggested plan of action is why I request Josh, and will wait for his availability to help me everytime. Josh has great customer service because he goes above and beyond in remembering how I like to be explained about all the servicing required, future service plan, etc. and get a print out of it for my own records with specifics highlighted every time. Expressing all my thoughts into words/writing isn't my strong point, so I hope that this little snippet that fails to include all the details of my awesome experience without sounding redundant gets Josh the great recognition he deserves. He has helped me for almost 10 years now when servicing my 2006 Lifted Hot Pink Chevy Silverado and I know I can always trust him to take good care of my truck while not breaking my bank.

Satisfied with service, but disappointed that vehicle will need continued monitoring........Underwent oil consumption test on 2011 Traverse 3.6L DI/VVT engine for 6-month period. Internet research reveals this as a documented problem with this engine. Dealership documented oil consumption as 1.5qt/1,000 miles. Service tech removed engine and discovered seepage at main seal. Owner performs all routine maintenance and never witnessed signs of leakage on engine or signs of oil on floor under vehicle - especially considering the rate of documented oil consumption. Owner suspects any signs of oil leakage on engine discovered by tech may have been mistaken for coolant leak due to faulty water pump shaft seal that was replaced under recall. Now undergoing additional oil consumption monitoring. This is a hardship, as dealership is located approximately 40-miles from residence. The monitoring requires the vehicle to be inspected every 1,000 miles.

I took my car in for an oil change and to have the brakes looked at, as I had noticed some grinding when I used the brakes. I dropped off my car, and within an hour and a half, the service lady called me to let me know the rotors were rusty and that they could be fixed that day. My car was finished about two hours after that. I am very pleased and will be going back to Tom Bell in the future.

My service consultant Josh was great. AJ the service technician was very thorough when he called to explain the issue with my car. My car was dropped off on a Saturday and Josh did tell me that he was off Monday so someone else would be handling my service that day. By 11 on Monday no one had called so I called and was told my car would possibly be ready after 2. At 1:45 I was called by AJ and was told they were running a 45 minute test then they would call and let me know. By 5 I had not received a call so I called myself again and was told by someone different that my car was not ready, they were waiting on a part. I had asked for A J, but he was busy. By noon the following day I still had heard nothing so I called and left a message for Josh. I called again at 2:30 and was told Josh was busy. I explained I had already left a voice message so the woman was able to deliver him a message saying I needed an update on my car. He called back and told me that while they were going to fix my car Monday one of the technicians broke a hose on my car that needed to be special ordered and that was the hold up. I feel that someone should have called me on Monday to explain this to me. I was under the assumption Monday that I was getting my car back that day and at the last minute had to call and arrange rides to work and school for myself and my kids. I was disappointed in the lack of communication on Monday and Tuesday, especially given the fact that it was due to the service technician breaking a part on my car that required my car to be there an extra day. Jobs was apologetic on Tuesday when he called to tell me my car would be ready and he took responsibility for the mix ups. Now 4 days later my check engine light is back on so I've made an appointment to take my car back in. I hope to experience some better communication or that I need to continue to call myself in order to get updates.

I took my car in for a recall and was informed on the phone it would not take very long. When I got there I was told it would take much longer than expected. Dee the service associate was very apologetic and said they would get me out as soon as possible. When I went to pick up my car she said she had a surprise for me. And what a surprise it was! The guys cleaning my car had found an old bundled receipt and in that receipt was 40 dollars....from 2010! Honesty and service with a smile . Needless to say I will be back.

I bought a 2015 Traverse for what I felt was a fair price. I specified I wanted to use Alta Vista Credit Union for finance and was told no problem. In a matter of a few days I got a notice from One Way that my finance with them was approved. I called One Way who told me to call the dealer. I spoke with the same finance manager who told me he'd take care of it but never did. He flat out lied initially saying Alta Vista denied me but I spoke to them and Alta Vista said an application was never sent to them. I have a long term relationship with Alta Vista and know getting financed there was not a problem. Additionally Tom Bell did not pay off my trade timely and an auto payment was deducted from my account on a vehicle I no longer owned. When I called Tom Bell finance I was told I would get a refund from my old finance company in about 6 weeks. However, after insisting Tom Bell did reimburse me the same day. I made my first service appointment and it took 5 phone calls to get an appointment. Was continually placed on hold but no one ever came back. After taking my car in for service I waited about an hour for a shuttle to take me home and over 2 hours to pick me up after being told one was on the way. Multiple calls were not returned and when I finally got to the dealership not one person said anything anout the confusion. Honestly, I dont think they gave a xxxx. I've bought 11 cars there over the years but never again.

I adore Damon Smith. Since Catherine Leffer left, he's the only one I'll deal with. My issue is with the techs. 3 times Damon put on the paperwork to check my tire pressure. And 3 times they did not. It got to the point my warning light came on because the pressure was 10 lbs under. I had to take it some place else to have it done. They FINALLY checked it on my last pit stop, but this marked the 4th time that it was requested to be done, and after I had to take it elsewhere. But Damon is awesome.

My truck was not shifting properly from 1st to second gear. I had it diagnosed and the transmission fluid changed. The initial diagnosis said that it was running lean and that the transmission control module needed to be replaced. The latter was $300+. Upon further examination, it was determined that the transmission part was unnecessary, which saved me the $300. The service writer was Damon Smith. I greatly appreciate his honesty and good service. Oh, and my truck is running great now. Also, you have a greeter at Tom Bell named Barbara. She is an incredible ambassador and asset for your business. You should replicate her at other businesses.

To start off I brought my car in for major repairs that were not covered due to the expiration of my warranty. I explained to the head service technician that I had contacted GM concerning my repair problem and they advised me to contact the dealership from which I purchased my vehicle because it was nothing they could do to assist me. The head service technician was very helpful and understanding of my major repair problem and assured me that with all the issues that I was having with this vehicle in the past year since I purchased the vehicle the dealership would fix the repairs with little or no cost to me. I was contacted in about a week of bringing in my vehicle and my vehicle was repaired and ready for pickup with little cost to me that the technician had promised to me earlier. In the twenty seven years that I have owned a GM vehicle this was by far the best experience I that I ever had with a dealership. Thanks Tom Bell Chevrolet for your outstanding support and service to the customer!

The day I came in for my 7:30 appt., there had been a printer glitch, coffeemaker was down and the hallway floor had been flooded. It took awhile for me to get seen; however, I'm pretty flexible and so was easygoing with everyone who assisted. Everyone did their best to make a "bad" morning one not so bad. The VIP carwash was great!! Damian was great and so was the woman who greeted me in the line. I cannot remember her name. Petite, brunette, very knowledgeable. Good job everyone!

I had appointment at 10 AM and had to wait until 10:20 before the service advisor finally made contact with me. The greeter was very helpful in attempting to find my service advisor. The problem was the monitor of tire pressure system was fault. The monitor system failure occurred after my last maintenance at the dealership. After 198.00 for wheel sensor replacement I left after a reasonable wait. Car wash was very good...

I am blown away with the "HONESTY" of your service. At the beginning of this year and last month (twice) I went to Tom Bell Chevrolet and asked for an oil change but they refused to do the service because it was "NOT" necessary. I am so impress with their HONESTY that I made a decision to force them to do the oil change so I can have the other services that I want but just pay the price of an oil change. The sales guy Dave was a nice man however did not provide the same service. I was not Educated in the truck, I sold myself on it. I got more information about the truck from the people at the body shop. It seemed like the ONLY thing on Daves mind was the survey. No matter what I was talking about he kept going back to that. He must have told me over a dozen times to make sure I put "completely satisfied" not just "satisfied". He demanded it and kept repeating that was "the most important thing". I felt uncomfortable. He was beyond pushy with this subject. I spent nearly $50,000 cash and he had no part in my deciding. I have always loved chevy and always will. The other people I named did an excellent job expecially Erica.

Experience was good, but prices are really, really, really high. $50 to replace a turn signal and license plate bulb??? The bulbs cost me $5 and 5 minutes to install. $50 seems ridiculous to me. Also, my transmission was recently serviced by a non GM shop. Chevrolet recommended that I have the transmission serviced. I was told the recommendation was based n mileage and lack of history with GM. I feel it is wrong to recommend service based these parameters. Hypothetically, I could have serviced my transmission 2000 miles ago at Pep Boys, and Chevrolet recommends it now. I could have easily said "it must need it again, go ahead and service the transmission". I would have spent big $$$ that was unncecessary.

I originally had planned on purchasing my first new car ever a2012 2SS/RS Camaro from your dealership, but was treated so poorly by the sales man that not only did I leave sans my dream car, I almost decided that I wasn't ever gonna buy a new car if the way your salesman treated me was indicitave of salesmen everywhere. I ended up purchasing my car from another dealership and I'm glad I did, but I ended up needing service while at my mothers and was forced to call your service dept... I was against bringing my car to your dealership until I spoke with Catherine. She was not only knowledgeable, but personable and perfessional and I must say redeamed my faith in TOM BELL... I love her so much I have referred my father (who has a c5 Zo6) and my boyfriend who also has a 2012 2SS/RS to your service dept. If you can find a sales person with a can do attitude like Catherine has I just might consider buying my next car (a white stingray) from TOM BELL!

My SUV's engine was making a fluttering noise. The engine cam was failing so a new engine was required. Dee and Junior handled my concerns and provided me with options so that I could make the best decision. Junior, as always, made himself available and provided the best experience for me. They did a good job.There was a man name George there in the repair part of the shop, excellent job, good customer service, he is a hard worker.The only thing I didn't like was they took everything that was in the bed of my truck and put it inside my truck on my seat with no plastic down. Then they left it there. I had to put everything back before I left. Over all very please.

Overall my experience with Tom Bell has been great with service and personnel. Any problems I had were quickly resolved by Dee who has been great. Just one problem that has bothered me when I purchased the vehicle in July 2012 from Joe Boghos we also purchased a extended warranty. Joe said he would also give us the VIP car wash and also life time oil changes for free with my purchase as long as I owned the vehicle. But when I went to the service center they said there is no such plan. I was upset because I was told something that was not true. It was not written in the contract but when a man gives his word I assume his word is true. But apparently it is not.Coming from an established place like Tom Bell I assumed your sales people would be honest. This angered me. I feel like I was lured in for a quick sale so he told me that. Stevan, our salesperson was really patient. We purchased our 2014 Silverado through the Costco Auto Program, which made the buying process easier. There were a few minor issues:-The factory sticker said the Silverado came with door handles the same color as the car; but the door handles are black. Steven said he'd find out about that issue. -There's also allegedly supposed to be tinted windows on the Silverado according to the factory sticker, but the windows aren't tinted.We are looking forward to having service performed on the Silverado at Tom Bell.Again, a pleasant automobile buying experience.

He asked me questions regarding my automobile needs and personal preferences. He checked to see if the car was available. It was. Without any pressure, he invited me to come see the car. I did so, that same day and was greeted by a lovely lady named Jessica. She showed me the car that I looked at and drove me around to see other cars as well. My car was appraised and we started negotiations with Jessica's manager. It did not take long before we struck a deal. The finance process also went very smoothly. The finance manager, John, took me through the financing agreement in record time and I was out the door. Jessica showed me all of the features of my new car and the perks that came with the purchase. I was quite impressed with the friendly, professional care that I received. They followed up after the sale offering me unlimited, patient care and concern, regarding my new car and how I could make the most from the ownership experience. She was very knowledgeable about the various cars and answered all of our questions. She was very patient when were trying to decide on the color we wanted! I went to Tom Bell because of how my Club, Corvette's West, was treated by another Chevy dealer in the area. Tom Bell has been extremely supportive of Corvette's West. I had my oil changed and I was amazed at the positive experience. My Corvette was ready in short order, and they washed my car as a courtesy. I spoke with several Tom Bell employees as I waited for my Corvette to be serviced. All Tom Bell employees that I encountered were friendly and helpful. They stated that Tom Bell treats his employees very well. In this day and age where the customer seems to be an after thought by vendors, I found my experience at Tom Bell to be very pleasant. I came in knowing exactly what I was looking for and I was prepared to do some negotiating to get as fair a deal as I could. Daniel, the salesman, said he was new and did what any new salesman would do. He didn't waste my time finding the only Sonic LS they had on their lot. After the test drive, I was quickly handed off to Stephanie, the client adviser. Stephanie sized me up very quickly and had a strategy for dealing with me that involved acknowledging that I had done my homework and claiming that she was going to get right to the bottom line, which was an offer. Though she was nice, I could see her technique and after she negotiated all she could from me (I went straight to an offer that I estimated to cut out their profit completely and worked her counter-offers down until I was satisfied). We were then passed on to Kofi, the finance manager. Kofi very aggressively tried to get us to sign without reading, and though we brought in our own loan and specifically requested an option contract of 7 days to pay, Kofi intentionally left it out of our contract. I found this and Kofi's response was indirect and he kept saying "it's fine, that's what every contract looks like". I found a total of three errors, that could have cost us money, that Kofi tried to avoid changing, but I demanded the changes be made before any signatures were signed. After I got him to make the requested changes to the contract, Kofi became very angry and tried to intimidate us. My wife felt so pressured by Kofi to sign that I had to grab the pen from her hand until I was satisfied with the contract. Every aspect of dealing with Kofi was bad. I am not buying from another car dealer like that again. I'll go into manufacturing my own vehicles before I go through that intense, disgusting situation again. These car salesmen are beggars, the lowest of the low.

This dealership will try to rip you off by any means necessary. They will try to take advantage of you and are EXTREMELY pushy. "If you don't buy this car today, this offer expires". If they were actually confident in their prices, they would give you a car price up front and WANT you to shop around. They wanted to tie us to the chair and not let us leave until we signed the outrageous deal. They also lied about the car price right to our face. Pushy, demanding, rude....NEVER buy a car here.

Tom Bell is the worst dealership in the industry. Not only will they make you wait & wait, but they are infamous for being professional liars. When you finally negotiate a price and you're ready to sign papers they will call it a communication error and try to sell the vehicle at a different price, last minute. They also tend to make promises they refuse to keep. My advice: DON'T BUY A CAR AT TOM BELL, Redlands!!

We came in looking for a new truck that would fit our needs; and chose Tom Bell Chevrolet based on the locality of the dealership. After walking around a bit looking at the different trucks that were available we decided to head over to the internet sales department. A much easier and more straight forward way to do things. We wanted to pay invoice pricing and as soon as we walked in we were greeted and given the numbers we requested. Dave was very helpful and informative in every aspect, from when we walked in to when we left in our new truck. Kofi, the sales manager was very nice, he told us our numbers and had us on our way to Disneyland in no time. Overall we had a great experience here and will be returning! Go see David Gorman!!!

I came to Tom Bell to have the " Turn Signal Switch " replaced'I hac called earlier and spoke with a service advisor ( I later learned was Hector ) and inquired as to how much it would cost to replace the turn signal switch,Hector told me it would be $ 128.00 labor and he did not know the cost of the switch. I spoke with the parts dept. and was told the switch would be $ 81.00. When I arrived at the service dept. for repairs I spoke with Craig and explained the problem and we checked the vehicle and the brake lights did not work with the engine running.I was overcharged and Ii am not happy with it at all. The $85.00 diagnostic charge should not have applied. I was not informed that I was being charged for something that was not even performed.I inspected the vehicle in the stall and nothing had been disturbed on the steering column or inside the car.The Service Manager " Junior " said the used probes.It is impossible to probe through the steering column.What a bogus statement to make.i was also told by Craig that there was a plastic cam inside that had to be replaced and that the cost was $ 50.00 and he gave it to me for $ 25.42 that also was incorrect. My correct charges should have been $ 128.00 Labor + $ 81.00 Turn Sw. +$ 31.75 Cam Part + $ 7.64 Knob and taxes.My invoice # is CVCS234497 06/04/07 CUSTOMER # 201359. Finally Tom bell is the only Chevrolet Dealer that Ii have found that charge this so called diagnostic charge. If I had been told of this up front I would have gone else where.I had and earlier estimate of $220.00 from citrus Garage an hour earlier.Life would have been much less stressful.
