Purchased a new car today from this location, after a long distance move which could have been a very stressful situation, however Lee made the entire experience great! He was personable, knowledgeable, and wonderful to work with through the entire experience. Lee made sure to communicate with me frequently to ease any concerns I had while I was still relocating and once on-site he went over everything thoroughly and efficiently. I was very pleased with the professionalism of the staff. My newest car was purchased with Ray, who has been superb about following up to make sure I’m still pleased. I recently went in for my first service appointment and was very happy with the speed as well as the care taken. Though I merely needed an oil change, I was very happy to see the care they take here in making certain their customers stay safe; another customer’s vehicle had a recalled part and they quickly let her know about it while assuring her it had been ordered the day before her scheduled appointment. It’s very comforting to know that if there’s ever a recall on a part, I can count on the staff at Toyota of Murfreesboro to take care of the problem.

I bought a 2019 Santa Fe on 1-9-21. Love the car and Emily who worked with me, however at some point who ever was taking pictures of the car (inside and out) had a "paint pin" to mark on the back window ( per Emily) which pictures they had taken. They got paint on the car itself on the drivers side, front and rear door and chrome door trim. Also got it on the seat belt buckle on the front passenger side. Emily had it taken back to detail and they got it off the window and the seal belt buckle. However they could not get it off of the car itself.. my car is Blue and now I have white specs of paint on it and I was told that was the best detailing could do with it. I spent a lot of money on this car and really expected more of an effort, I know it is not a Toyota but one of your used cars but really expected more concern over the problem. Who ever the took the pictures does not need to be wheeling it around and paint on cars inside and out. UPDATE - JD contacted me and I brought my car over and they took care of the paint on the car and filled my car up with gas. I really appreciate him taking care of my car, was relieved they wanted to make it right! Thanks JD for your help today ( 1-23-21).

I want to say that Lee the guy who sold us the Camry was more than a salesman! He was very knowledgeable in every detail of our car. He made sure to show us EVERYTHING our car could do before we left Friday night. He stayed over almost 3 hours to make sure we knew how to set up everything in and outside of the car. Whereas before we left not knowing a thing about how to set up anything. And this makes the 3rd Camry we bought from Toyota of Murfreesboro! Lee was very nice and a joy to be around . He went above and beyond to help us... I would say to Toyota of Murfreesboro that you are very lucky to have someone like Lee working for you and the knowledge that man has of the cars blew us away. I would say to anyone wanting to buy a new or used vehicle Lee would be the man I would ask for. He told us about every safety feature and EVERYTHING about the car in less than 20 minutes and helped us get it set up before we left the same night. He is an truly Amazing person and from now on I won’t go to ANYONE else. Thank you Lee for all you done for us Friday and the time you spent making sure to explain and set up everything before we left. If all the salesman had the knowledge you had Toyota would be unstoppable 😉.... My advice would be, ask for Lee to any person who wants to buy a car because that man knows anything and everything about the vehicle he is selling! Relaxed and no high pressure experience. Stopped by the dealer about an almost new Tacoma truck with very low miles at 2 evenings in a row for test drives. Sales rep. Frank Taylor was pleasant to work with, got the price down a bit that I felt was fair and he even was able to help me get it home. This is my first Toyota purchase and I would recommend this dealer and Frank to family and friends. Loving my truck. Only dislike is the doc fee.

Z was extremely helpful. I was helping my mother find a car and we were approached by Z Kahn. Normally when I'm approached buy Customer Service, they try to overwhelm the conversation. I went there to get my scion looked at to see what navigation disc I needed and after a misunderstanding of my wait being 2 hours. It was all worth it and Blake and one of the other gentlemen made sure I was taken care of appropriately. This dealership I believe is the worse dealer in the country. There employees are rude and not very honest. They change there word and try to add things you told them you were not interested. The service area is the same they constantly push things other mechanic say are not necessary. I would not set foot in this place ever. The best thing is if there close there doors. By the way not locally owned.

This was my first time at this dealership. Unfortunately, things went wrong right from the beginning of the sale. My loan took forever to be process due to the fact the dealer never sent my service contract to the credit union. After I followed up with the credit union and called the dealership ironically the credit union receive the service contract. Also keep in mind I'm still waiting for my old loan to be paid off, however this can't be done until all till my loan is funded. FINALLY, over a month goes by and my loan is finally funded. BUT WAIT IT GETS BETTER....The accounting department wrote the check out to the wrong person, and the check got sent back. Instead of being sympathetic the accounting department tried to tell me that they have to wait to get the old check back to re issue another check, even though it was their fault!!! I ended up speaking to a manager and luckily they were able to reissue a check and have it sent out. Several times I tried to reach out to my salesperson Gus, and never once did I feel like he was sympathetic or wanting to help me ,he just pushed me off to other departments and basically I had to follow-up myself with everything. This has been one horrible experience and I will never ever purchase a car from them, if I can return the car right now I would do so in a hot minute. Also when I had to get my temporary tags extended, the reception put the wrong month on them! I have been driving with expired temporary tags I definitely was not a happy camper. I had to call and they had to overnight the correct dates . Moral of the story is this dealership really needs to get their communication game right and do a better job on communicating with customers from the beginning of the process to the end . What a nightmare!!

"Salesman Mike Batts came rushing to meet my elderly mom and I as soon as we opened our car doors at the dealership. "How can I help you?" That started my current used car buying experience. Like others listed in this rating forum that unfortunately I did not read before going to TOM, I was told by Mike that darn it the cars that I had pulled from the internet to look at were already sold. He didn't even pause. I said I wanted to look around. He started his sales routine. 'Well what ya lookin for in a car?' I told him. Well here. Look at this one. A pretty white Nissan Altima. Looks good. Lets drive it. Drives good. Seems good. Lets go look at gettin you in this car. I asked for the Carfax which showed no problems, no wrecks. Good. I had a good deal of cash to put on it. I refused to take the car without some warranty. I was told You can't get a warranty without financing some. So the money man takes over for Mike. My deal, right now, feels like I've been cheated. The car had a 'check engine' light. I told mike I didn't want it if something was wrong with it. He said "Let me get it checked". Minutes later, he said "it's nothing. A small part that we will put in will fix it." Ok so I go for it. I agree to finance a warranty and the remaining amount on the car. The money man said 'he'd GIVE me the Permaplate treatment on the car with the purchase of the warranty. I am embarassed to say I did what I have sworn to 'never do again' I trusted them. So Mike got the car washed and ready for me to take. Somewhere along the way Mike lost his dealer plate and he keeps hinting that I stole it like I'd have a use for it Now after bringing the car back for the simple part and the Permaplate and the huge mess made of this by Mike who did not do what he was supposed to do, I am highly ticked off by the treatment I received from Mike Batts, the service dept manager who sassily told me "I can't just give you a car from the lot" because mike didn't have a loaner car set up before I got there. Mike's sassiness to me like it was all my fault and then his last snotty attitude when he finally got me a loaner, he had to make one more comment about someone stealing his dealer tag and then just plopped the loaner keys in my hand and walked away. I told him again I did not have his dealer tag. Now I have my new used car back and I go over the paperwork I signed in trust only to find that I will pay for the permaplate along with all else. So yes I feel cheated and doubt my car and once again hate car dealers. Ps. Mike said the dealership would fill the gas tank when the part was installed-last lie. Also very next morning the same light came right back on. Regretfully dissapointed.

I would say this was the easiest truck I have purchased and I have bought many. I will recommend Toyota of Murfreesboro to everyone . Mr.Smith took really excellent care of us we found the truck online inquired he responded quickly, he had a bit of a hiccup because the truck was being serviced but prevailed and made it happen for me. 11/11/15 My husband and I bought a Lexus from there. We would never ever recommend them to anyone. They remind me of a slick used car dealership. They tried to add all kinds of services. We bought some service contract with Lexus of Nashville. We were lied to and told that Lexus knew them well. When we contacted Lexus, they had never heard of Sean..the guy who told us Lexus of Nashville knew him well. Cancelling that was a disaster. We had to call the GM. Finally Holly was the only one who knew what was going on. Brenda, the sales person, told us the spots on the Lexus would come off. We dropped our car off for the repair guy and we called and Brenda said they came out good. When we went to get the car, the spots were still there. Not sure why she lied..did she think we wouldn't notice? We emailed both her and Sean about different things and no response after we tried multiple times to contact them. I would stay away from this place. We have had great experiences with other dealers but this one is not one of them. It is a scam. They tell you anything to get your money.

We purchased a pre owned Camry. It had about 30,000 miles, and Toyota of Murfreesboro said that a lifetime powertrain warranty came with it. When we went in to sign, we were told that we only get the powertrain warranty if we take the maintenance plan. The plan is another $800. We were told that it would not be a problem to get oil changes and service (I specifically asked because we have had long waits there). Our first oil change, we made the appointment and still had to wait over an hour. Now for the second oil change we are told that the first available appointment is in 2-3 days. My wife was told that she could drop the car off and they will drop her off at work. All this for an oil change....Mobile 1 can do this in 15-20 minutes. We were mislead about the powertrain warranty and the convenience of the maintenance plan.

Long story short....Mike Nobles, Internet Sales Manager, called and said "Great news, we are going to accept your offer for the car you asked about." It was a red 2012 Camry SE...SE is the key point here. I knew what exactly what I wanted and what I would pay for it. Needless to say, I was excited. After setting up an appointment time of 6:45 pm, it was all set to go. My husband got off work early so we left early. The whole time we were texting back and forth with Mike to let him know we were on our way. his response was "Great. See you in a little while.Woo-hoo...I'm getting the car I've been waiting for. NOT!Mike and his sidekick Steve met us outside and was leading us to an LE not SE. I looked at Mike and said "This deal was for an SE". He said I'm sorry, that one sold right before you got here. I know buying a car is rough and used cars are never perfect but mine had to go to the shop the next day because the windows magically stopped working. And yes, I had to pay for it. My friend bought from here and like mine, the next day it died and was in the shop for a week. But that doesn't even touch why I would not go back here... I never asked for additional warranties or anything but as a first time -female- car buyer, they added everything they could and I knew the car salesman so I did not pay as much attention to the details as I should have because I TRUSTED them. Well, I shouldn't have. After I realized how I had been taken advantage of, I went to the finance guy, Will, to fill out the papers to cancel the additional warranties and get the $ back. After he told me he was too busy to see me at the moment, I sat down anyways. He put the paper in front of me and told me to sign it. Learning from my mistake before, I asked questions first and that irritated him greatly and he was persistent about changing my mind to cancel. I signed because it was my decision to make. That was in March. June came around and nothing had happened. So I contact them again, they said they would email the paper work again. Didnt happen. So I went to the dealership yet again! Signed the papers after Will, trying to change my mind again, didn't even know how long the warranty was for. It is September and still nothing has been done. I've emailed the owner, Andy, and no word back. I'm not at all satisfied with them adding stuff that wasn't asked for, then treating me like garbage because I'm not giving them more money, and having to take so much time for nothing to happen in return. Through all this the salesman, Kaissi, was just that...a salesman...who had no knowledge of anything but being able to talk his way to a deal. He coukd never answer questions for me nor remembered anything abiut the deal, didbt even show me the carfax history report after i asked for it. I will never shop here again and I will never recommend this dealership to anyone. Again, I should have taken an experienced car buyer with me or not trusted the salesman who was a personal friend. I do admit those mistakes.

I was recently shopping for a new or used car. I hate buying a car; due to the "games" most dealerships play. This was NOT the case at Toyota of Murfreesboro. My wife and I stopped in one evening and were met by Blake Poteat, Sales Consultant. He was friendly, courteous, and never pressured us in any way. I told him I was two weeks away from being ready, and he said to please let him know if there was anything in particular that I was interested and he would try and find it for me. "The salesperson, Steve Woodard, was everything one could wish for in a buying experience. He was courteous, friendly, concerned that we be completely happy, understanding of our feelings and opinions, and, while eager to accommodate us, not pushy. We liked him a lot. "We had been looking for a pre-owned vehicle, and he called to say that the dealership had three that seemed to fit within our parameters. He made room in his schedule for us to test ride them that same afternoon. We liked, but did not love, all three and were not ready to make a decision. He understood. He asked if we would consider a new vehicle and understood our reasons (both ecological and economic) for preferring pre-owned. Still, he said that after spending the time with us and getting to know our needs and preferences, he was aware of one new car that seemed to be exactly what we were looking for. Would we take a look at it? Well, OK. And he was exactly right. The Prius he showed us not only fit the bill but had been marked down substantially for the 4th of July sale. "Mr. Woodard spent a lot of time being sure we understood how to operate the car and answering all the questions we had. He even helped us clean out our trade-in. Our only disappointment was in the trade-in analysis, but Mr. Woodard did get us more than the original offer, and we accepted rather than having the hassle of selling the car ourselves."

The new facility is beautiful and it's very conveniently located. The staff was wonderful: polite, friendly, and very professional. I was there about 1-1/2 hours and was very glad I had brought my Kindle so I could read because the placement of the TV is very poor. They've provided customers with a beautiful large screen TV but it faces a wall of windows so it's difficult to see anything except glare. But that was the only negative part of my experience.

We have a 2013 Prius and a 2006 Avalon and have had them serviced at the old location in Murfreesboro on South Church Street many times.. The new facility is very nice, however; I was very surprised that the muffins, etc. are not longer provided at no charge to customers waiting for their car to be serviced, now a "waiting treat" must be paid for by the customer and the TV in the waiting area is beautiful but it would be better had someone thought about it's placement, you can't see the picture because all the widows reflect off the screen. All the associates were very nice, as always. I'll be going back to have a replacement part put in my Prius, hopefully; I'll get a "free" muffin while waiting :-) It's the little things that make life pleasant....

With about a dozen different Tacomas all fitting my criteria. Garrett helped me find the one that best suited me, without regards to the price. The truck I found was beautiful and the lifetime power train warranty only helped. I was on edge at first but with the help of Garrett, the whole process was so much easier. I was able to do my research at home without pressure and when I was ready to look at the 2010 Corolla, Cody made sure it was ready to take for a test drive and had it parked out front. When we made the decision to buy we were very pleased with the negotiation process. We had our deal in less than 30 minutes. On multiple occasions I have taken my car to get it's oil changed at this location. Each time the service advisers are pushy and find something different wrong (second opinions have proved otherwise). Multiple times they have stated to "listen to a trained professional" not your husband. This dealership's service department is in it for the money and uses high pressure tactics to scare you into extra service.

The salesman I worked with, Marty Goodbread, was outstanding. He was knowledgeable and patient with me during the process. He readily responded to email questions prior to my scheduling a test drive. He was attentive but not pushy. I traveled 90 miles to this dealership after becoming unhappy with the sales tactics used at the dealership in my town. Be sure to do your homework and research vehicles using their web page, including reading all the fine print, prior to going to the dealership. The original price I was given during the negotiations process was significantly higher than the advertised Internet price. The showroom definitely needs to be bigger and updated, but they are building at a new location which is definitely needed.

I bought a used car from here and one week later started having trouble with the car. The brakes and steering wheel were not working right at all. They avoided the question and emails until their 30 day period was up so they wouldn't have to pay for it. We still took it in assuming coming from a reputable car dealership they would take care of us and our car. Well was I disappointed and shocked!! They basically told us some cars just make noises and they were not willing to fix it!!!! I was very taken back and upset at the situation. Went to trade for a 4 door civic, Did not see it and told Blake I wasn't going to waste his time. Blake calmly suggested we see what he had in inventory. I had been searching for weeks for a 4 door Civic Si so my mind was stuck on that model. Blake searched inventory and asked if I would be interested in a coupe. I said I would look at it. Blake took me back to see the used inventory not yet conditioned for presentation. The advertised 4 door was still available. Upon inspecting it and the coupe suggested by Blake, I decided to test drive the coupe. I drove it and liked the performance. We went to the negotiating table. The first deal presented was not too my liking so Blake took it back and came back with something more palatable. I got to meet John Lennon from Finance next. He put together the package and informed me that it would be possible to find the interest rate for the loan would be better when the banks opened on Monday. Before I could leave the showroom, Mr. Lennon came to me and advised the bank contacted him already and the rate was significantly better than the original. My payment dropped by $30 overall which was better than I had hoped for. Blake took excellent care of me. He has the potential to be a GREAT salesman. Right attitude and enough resolve to not get frustrated after being told no. Thank You Blake. John's experience was evident and the financing process was one of the smoothest I have ever experienced. Thanks for the work finding me the better rate. Overall the experience was a very good one. Although I may not be in the market for a vehicle in the near future, the experience I had this time will make me consider Toyota of Murfreesboro first for my needs in the future.

I sent an internet inquiry & Brenda Sandler called & left voicemails for me 2 or 3 times over a period of a couple of weeks, saying she would be glad to help me find the vehicle I wanted. I finally called her back, & within about 3 days I was driving my brand new Tacoma home. I had dealt with several sales people at several Toyota dealers, some were helpful, some were not, but no one was friendlier or more helpful than Brenda. The entire process was pressure free, & they steered me in the right direction to get me the best vehicle for the money, as the one I ended up buying was actually much more vehicle than the one I "built" with the specs I wanted. In hindsight I am VERY glad they talked me into going that direction, as the one I built wouldn't have been nearly as nice, & would have cost the same. For us, selecting a vehicle has never been impulsive. We are cautious, thoughtful and calculated, in our approach to analysis and decision making, when reviewing and comparing brands and models. We understand and respect personal choice. People perceive and prioritize in various ways, so there are many different vehicles and options, available. Of course, we always seek to rationalize and maximize value, for our own personal situation. Following is insight to our experience. High ratings for safety and reliability are a must have. We purchase vehicles, to own (not lease), with intent to keep and use vehicles for five or more years. For that reason, the cost of ownership is very important to us (purchase price, depreciation, resale residual, fuel efficiency, warranty, maintenance and insurance). We also pay attention to vehicle performance as we very much want a vehicle that is fun to drive. Historically, we have not purchased cars that are loaded with amenities and creature comforts. Our use of vehicles has been focused and limited; going from point A to B - safely, reliably, economically and comfortably, but not necessarily, luxuriously. For our requirements, we have owned Honda vehicles (Accord LX & EX) that have satisfied our needs and served us very well, since 1985. Now, my wife and I are recently retired. We are traveling more, and doing so, mostly, by driving. Longer trips, and much more time in the car so our value proposition has changed, somewhat. Safety, reliability, and cost of ownership are still a must. Also now, fun to drive is a must have. And too, of a higher priority, are requirements for luxury seats, a comfortable ride, a quiet cabin and more amenities. Our needs are different, but our approach to selecting a vehicle has not changed rationalize and maximize value. In 2013, I purchased an Avalon from Toyota of Murfreesboro, TN. My wife and I have thoroughly enjoyed driving this vehicle. Longer trips are so much more comfortable and less tiring. Fuel efficiency has been very impressive, too. Our satisfaction and confidence is high so much, that this past week, my wife purchased a 2014 Avalon, for herself, also from Toyota of Murfreesboro, TN. My family has dealt with this dealership through many different owners since the early '90's. They have excellent service and provide fair deals in all of our experiences. They did not try to push products or services that are not necessary when buying a Toyota. (Don't people buy a Toyota because of its superior quality?) The process still takes forever but overall, another great experience.

I love Toyota! I have a 1995 Corolla with 250K miles that I purchased new upon graduation from college. It is now our extra car due to the money saving fuel mileage. I was in the market for a good value on a used car. I was very hesitant to go the dealership route based on past experience. On previous visits to car dealerships, I have encountered high pressure sales staff who were less than enthusiastic when they learned I wasn't buying a high price new vehicle. I checked out a quote online to trade my car, and Brenda Sandler returned my request in less than 10 minutes. After a few email exchanges I was set to test drive a new Prius after work. When I arrived the staff did an excellent job of greeting me and making sure my questions answered. I did not feel pressured to make a purchase. Recently my daughter asked my assistance in purchasing a new car for her. She looked forward to an enjoyable experience selecting and purchasing a new car for the first time. It turned out to be the opposite. We initially contacted several Toyota dealers in the area and were told that the car she wanted would be hard to find and would take a few weeks at best. When checking the website of Toyota of Murfreesboro, one was listed on their website as on their lot. I called a salesman who confirmed it was there and we began making a deal. Later that same day I was notified that that car was not actually there, but they could get one in a few days at the same price we agreed upon. Even after I questioned how they could get one when other dealerships indicated they could not, I was assured they could. We agreed and then began to wait for the car to arrive. And waited. And waited. Over the next four to five weeks we were advised repeatedly that the car would arrive any day. Many phone contacts took place and we were assured it was only going to be a few days. Finally, on a Saturday, we were advised the car had arrived at a sister dealership and they would get it to us on Monday or Tuesday. My daughter signed the paperwork that same day and made a $2000 payment on the car. And waited. And waited. Based upon the assurance that the car was on the lot of another dealer only a short distance away and would be brought to Toyota of Murfreesboro in one or two days, my daughter sold her car to a friend who needed it. She could do without a car for a couple of days. We were then told that the car had not actually been delivered but was still in transit, but would only be a few more days. After another two weeks of many calls and complaints, the dealership agreed to loan my daughter a car until the one promised came in. I felt it was the least they could do. After still another two weeks, we were notified that the car was not going to be delivered to the dealership and had actually been cancelled by Toyota. Throughout this two and a half month period we were promised many times that they could provide the car in only a few days. My daughter was pulling her hair out by this time and was in tears due to this most difficult experience. We felt we were mislead on multiple occasions. The dealership indicated they would continue to try to find a car meeting her specifications and that there was one possibility. After another week, they did finally locate one and retrieved it. Finally, the frustration was nearing an end. We thought.On the morning we were to go pick up the car and return the loaner, we received a call from the salesman indicating that he would deliver it to my daughter that morning so they would not have to wait till she was off work that evening to trade cars. The salesman stated they had sold the loaner car she was driving, (apparently sight unseen) and needed it earlier. Even though it was difficult for my daughter to take time from her work duties as a physical therapist, she agreed to accommodate them. This was arranged and I confirmed that the numbers on the paperwork had not changed. About an hour later, I received a call from a manager indicating they could not honor those numbers because the long delay in delivering the car had resulted in the interest rate from Toyota going up. I reminded them that my daughter signed the papers (with stated interest rate) based upon their assurances , even selling her car, and that she should not have to pay more because they could not honor their promises. My suggestion was for them to discount the car a little more to compensate for the increased rate. An hour after that, I received a call from a person who identified himself as the dealership owner. He had also identified himself on a previous visit to the showroom as the owner but I was told by an office manager that he was actually the dealership manager. Who knows? His name was Andy Obeissy. Andy indicated that they were already taking a loss on the vehicle and that my daughter would have to pay more to get the vehicle. I asked him how much more would it be and he gave me an amount. I talked to my daughter who was very unhappy at this point but was considering paying a little extra to just get it over with. When I returned Andys call to further discuss it with him, he indicated that the amount he had previously indicated was not correct and that it was even more. He indicated that if my daughter did not pay the extra, then he would just cancel the deal and he would come get the loaner back. Of course, that would leave her having invested over two months of energy, frustration, and emotional distress and still have no car to drive. My daughter was in tears. Further discussion with Andy resulted in him becoming belligerent and screaming over the phone. I asked him to calm down so we could discuss this rationally and try to work out something satisfactory to both. I even suggested that we split the difference in the increased cost and he refused, yelling that he was already losing money on the deal. He said he would just come pick up the loaner. I reminded him that the loaner car was provided until her car was delivered. He became louder and threatening. He yelled that he would call the police and report the car as stolen, even though it was not true. In desperation, my daughter finally agreed to pay the extra amount just to bring the ordeal to a close. Finally finished. Or was it?Fast forward a month. Temporary tags had been provided by the dealership as agreed. They were to apply for a license tag and send it to my daughter. A few days before the temporary tag was to expire, the dealership was contacted and they acknowledged that they had not sent the tags but would do so. A few days later they did show up. However, they were for a different county, which is not acceptable in Tennessee. A call to the dealership pointing out the problem resulted in my daughter being told that she would have to go to her local county office and pay for tags in her county. Even though tags were a part of the original deal, my daughter will now have to pay for them in order to be legal. The dealership was unwilling to assist with this in any way. They only stated that that was the way they did it. Subsequently, I decided to read some reviews and found that our experience was not all that unusual. I wish I had checked the reviews before considering buying a car from them. I have purchased many new cars from many dealerships, both in Tenn. and in other states. Never have I been treated so disrespectfully. I will never consider purchasing another car from Toyota of Murfreesboro nor consider going there for any service. I do not see how a dealership can stay in business with this type of performance and treatment of customers. I can only describe our experience as filled with misrepresentation and verbal accosting. I suggest anyone considering dealing with this dealership do so with their eyes open. I feel like I failed my daughter in trying to help her have an enjoyable experience purchasing her first new car.Embarrassed dad.

Buying a car is not always a fun task, however my sales assistant Mohammad Al Kaissi made my experience more than fun. He was very knowledgeable and quite the optimist when it came time to crunch numbers. We laughed constantly. I even came back the next day so he could teach me all about the bells and whistles that came with my Highlander and he was very happy to do. He introduced me to the Manager Tosh who was fabulous. He introduced me to the Owner who was also quite a gentleman. Loved everyone I met at this dealership. I can't go without mentioning the cashier in the service department that day who went way above and beyond when she offered me a piece of fruit from her very own lunch that day as I hadn't eaten and my blood sugar had dropped.

I have a Toyota with the first 25,000 of routine maintenance covered by Toyota. I had a 9:00 appointment for a routine oil change and tire rotation. Got my car back at 11:30. 2-1/2 hours for basic service with an appointment. After the first hour, I went up to check with the desk on the status, and the clerk was sharing a cat video with another woman in the office, and told me she'd check. Never received an update until my car was done. Seriously, no wonder they can't get any work done in a timely manner. I'll pay Valvoline to change my oil in the future. The get you in and out in 20 minutes or less. It's worth it not to waste an extra 2 hours of my time sitting in an garage style waiting room.

I was looking at buying a new highlander and had been to multiple toyota dealerships in this area, in middle TN. I was impressed with the ease of purchase and transparency shown at this dealership, i was guided by Blake Poteat, who excelled at his job, and bought the vehicle at what was a very competitive price, and most of all i was impressed with how transparent the whole process was. This is the smoothest experience in buying a car that i have had in the last 15 years, The outside of the dealership compared to beaman toyota and coolsprings toyota, may not be that impressive, but these guys strive to excel with their service, and that is what counts in a new vehicle. We purchased a new 2014 Tacoma SR5 Prerunner from Toyota of Murfreesboro on 3/29/14. The salesman, Jonathan D. was pleasant and friendly. After completing all the paperwork and being told several times that we would receive a survey by email and to make sure everything was marked excellent, we drove home to Tullahoma. While driving home we noticed some noise in the cab (droning) and felt vibrations in the seat, floorboard, steering wheel and door panel, the whole interior. It occurs around 45 mph and again (worse) around 75 mph. I also found deep scratches on the exterior of the drivers side access cab window, looked like gouges from scraping a decal off.I called the dealer the next morning and was told to bring it in Monday. I returned Monday 3/31/14 and was told the tire pressure was low and a replacement window had been ordered. Diving it home was evidence that the low tire pressure had not resolved the vibration. I called the dealer on the way home and they told me to bring it back the following day. I was unable to return on Tuesday so we dropped it off on Wed 4/2/14. The Technician told me the the tires were a little out of balance and it took care of the vibration, it did not... I jumped on to 24 East and felt the same vibrations. I turned around and returned the truck to the service dept. They kept it overnight and road force balanced the tires the following day. This had no effect on the vibrations. It was too late to turn around, we had an appointment to get to. I called the dealership on the way home and informed the service dept we would be returning with the truck. Julie also emailed Andy Obeissey, the GM and owner of Toyota of Murfreesboro. He did call Julie back and promised to personally make things right. We took the truck back to the dealer on Friday 4/4/14 early am. About mid day a tech asked me to visit the dealer, which I did. He said they couldn't find anything wrong with the Tacoma, but added that he did feel the vibration. He let me test drive 2 more 2014 Tacoma trucks similarly equipped as ours. They both had the same annoying vibrations, one of them was much worse! I left the Tacoma there over the weekend so the Tech could try swapping the wheels and tires (different style/size wheel and tire manufacturer) on Saturday. He called and said the tire/wheel swap had no effect and suggested it was a drive line issue. At this point we are getting really frustrated.. We met with Andy Obeissey in person. He assured us that hings would taken care of, he would make it right.. he even said he would fill up the tank for our trouble and cost of driving back and forth from Tullahoma.. Never got the fill up, even after reminding Mike about Andy's promise, it was on empty when I picked up the truck.. Mike and Andy had already left. Before I walked out the door, one of the salesmen told me he had the same problem with his Tacoma. He told me that Tacoma's hold their value and to drive it for a year and sell it, "you probably won't lose more that a couple/three grand". At this point I called Toyota customer service and started a claim. The window was finally replaced, but they scratched the door and had to do some touch up work. So the truck had to stay overnight again. When I picked up the truck is was filthy, except for the area they worked on. There was cutting/polishing compound all around the door jam and fine dust from the compound all over everything in the cab. Getting back to the vibration.. It's still there after more visits and visit from a Toyota field technician (John Holton). John told Julie in a conversation that the vibration is a characteristic of the Tacoma, but the documentation he gave her states that nothing was found and the truck has no issues. We are filing a lemon law claim. Will never buy another toyota product. Have had new Mitsubishi, KIA, Dodge and VW, all were better products and the dealers were excellent. So disappointed with Toyota products & customer service.

I have to say, in the past two years we have bought several cars because we could not find the one that was best for us. We were looking online at several different cars and came accross the Scion xB. We decided that we would go to the dealership and take a look because a friend had referred us to this dealership. We were greeted about 30 seconds after stepping out of our vehicle by Ralph Matchok. He was not pushy at all. He made us feel very comfortable and showed us everything we asked. I would for sure recommend Ralph to all of our friends. I also want to say thank you to the sales manager and the finance manager. They were all so amazing. We were there getting everything done about an hour after close and never once felt rushed at all. This is been the most amazing car buying experience I have ever had. Recently purchased a 2014 Bronze Tundra Double Cab Limited. I worked with Chris Ray and Tom to have it special ordered, as exactly what I wanted was not available on their lot or even remotely close to that dealer. Negotiation for the purchase of the Truck as well as the trade of my current vehicle was pretty straight forward. I did the usual due diligence through online sites to price out the estimated price people are paying for that vehicle with the options I wanted as well as what to expect for my trade. I then dropped my offer to the lower end of the spectrum. There wasn't really any back and forth for the negotiations. They told me what they could do and I accepted based upon the information I had and budget. I was really pleased with the whole buying process. During the order/build process, Chris and Tom kept me informed as to the vehicles status. I also coordinated for some additional extras to be purchased with the vehicle and have it all delivered once the vehicle arrived. Needless to say, approximately 7 weeks after special ordering my new truck; I know how probably one of the most unique Tundras available. I am very pleased with my purchase and dealing with Toyota of Murfreesboro. I would recommend purchasing a car from them if you are in the market.

After months of research and searching I finally found and purchased my 2014 4Runner Trail edition. To say this particular model is difficult to find is an understatement. Once I did find it however, Darren Douglas and the rest of the staff at Toyota of Murfreesboro made the purchase easy. I received a deal that was equitable for both myself and the dealer and was able to drive home the truck I had searched high and low for. Not only did Darren and the team at ToM make the process simple, they went above and beyond to make sure the experience was pleasant. I was shopping for a new car on Saturday March 15, 2014. My first stop was The Toyota dealer of Murfreesboro, Tennessee. I was greeted by a very friendly salesman named Chris. I told him I needed to see a salesman by the name of Darren Douglas. He said Darren wasn't there but he could help me for him. Told him what I was looking for. He was very helpful in helping me select my first new vehicle. After a test drive I was sure this was the vehicle for me. From that point I met another vey friendly leasing man (Tony. He was also very nice. He thoroughly explained everything to me. Then the next step was financing. I was met by anther very nice man( Doug) that took care of everything for me. I bought a new 2014 RAV4. I am very happy with it and am very pleased with the way these people treated me. They were very respectful and friendly.

We weren't expecting to buy a car when we went to the lot. We just wanted to look and get some specs. Normally when you go to a car lot people swarm you and they just want the sale. Steve came over and introduced himself and asked us what we were looking for, got our information and he didn't push us at all to try and sell us something. That night he sent us an email on the specs of the two vehicles we were looking at which were a jeep wrangler and the Toyota four runner. We went back the next day to look at the four runner and test drive it. We LOVED it. Long story short we ended up buying the four runner and we absolutely love it. Toyota didn't give us the run around or anythig they worked with us on price and payments and were very helpful. We highly recommend working with Steve Woodard and Eddie Tea.

This dealership was professional - specifically my salesman: Darren Douglas and sales manager Tosh Gilbert. The atmosphere was professional and relaxing. I did not feel rushed or "swooped down upon" when I bought my new Toyota. My needs and wants were met with every aspect of the purchase. The sales staff worked diligently to make the buying process fluid and convenient for me. I am a veteran salesperson- and know that with major purchases (insurance, cars, homes) there are some sales people who put their commission first and not the needs of the customer. I had such an experience in the past and regretted it. At Toyota of Murfreesboro I NEVER sensed this. I was never rushed- but given enough information and TIME to make the RIGHT buying decision. My wife and I went to Murfreesboro to look at a low mileage used 2012 Rav 4. After reviewing the 2012 model and talking to Marty we decided to consider a 2013 new Rav 4. Marty took his time and related pros and cons of the used and new vehicle. We needed time to consider both units, so we headed home to think about these units overnight. The following day we called Marty and asked him to have both units available for us to look at that day. When we got to the dealership both units were out front and waiting for us. We ended up purchasing the new unit. Marty was very helpful, as well as the other staff people we encountered at the dealership. Will probably go back when we need another vehicle. My wife hated going car shopping due to pressure from past car salesmen, but was very pleased with the people at this dealership.

I drove off in my new 2014 Scion tC a very happy customer. I always dread dealing with car dealerships and car sales people in general, but this experience was a very pleasing one. After going to various car lots in the Murfreesboro and surrounding area, I returned to the dealership for the car that stood out the most and was the type of car I was looking for. Once I arrived for my second viewing of the car, only to find it not there, the wonderful Mr. William West approached me for assistance. After explaining to him the type of car I was looking for and had seen on the lot a week earlier, he located the same car from a near dealership and was very helpful during the whole process. The entire staff that I came in contact with from the Sales Department to the Finance Department was very easy to work with and comfortable to work with. I did not feel I was being haggled, nor did I feel I that I was looked at as just another commission...but felt that the main priority was to be happy in what I was driving. I thank Mr. West, Mr. Steve Woodard, Mr. Michael Nobles and the rest of the staff for being so helpful during my decision making and purchasing process.

I made a deal on Sat. Jan 12, 2014. Not with the sales guy, but with Andy, the owner. 4 days later Finance had me come back in. They got my rate wrong making my payment go above what I wanted and I can't back out of the deal because I've already paid $200 having the windows tinted. 3 weeks later the sales guy calls to tell me that they dropped the ball and on paper, had sold me the wrong car. My wife and I went in again to sign all the new paperwork. 2 days later the finance guy calls to say he dropped the ball and dated all the new paperwork wrong. Again we had to drive to the dealership to sign all the paperwork again and at this time is when I'm supposed to talk to GSM about getting some wheels I'd asked for to compensate for all our trouble. Just before we go to meet her she sent me an email stating that she'd spoken to Mr. Obeissy and he wanted to speak to me personally about the situation when he came back to town the following Monday. We went in, signed the papers for the final time and never heard from Andy Obeissy. He won't return phone calls and it occurred to me that the only time we ever saw Andy was when he was trying to sell us. I don't know much about the sales industry but I do know, misleading people is not good for future business.

Service was good, until after the sale. Steve Woodard was returning e-mails as fast as I could send before the sale. Now, silence, no emails returned. Steve Sargent did a great job getting my papers bought. My next e-mail will go to him. I'll give him a try, even though I wouldn't think warranty info would be considered finance. Over all the experience was ok. But, from the hype on the site I expected so much more. Would I recommend this dealership to a friend? Yes, but I would warn them.

Steve Woodard and Gus are amazing people! The whole process took several months for me. I was finally able to purchase the perfect car for my family this past Friday January 24th. Finding a car that fit my family's needs was very important to me and Steve found the Prius which covers all the bases. It gets amazing gas mileage and our two 60+ lb dogs have the back hatch area all to themselves instead of squashing my two young boys in the back seat. He couldn't have found a more perfect car! He had the Prius picked out for me back in August and knew that it would be this month before I could make the purchase. There was no pressure at all and he and gus made the whole process very easy! I bought the truck I've been searching for, though it was used and not a Toyota, Steve Woodard was more than happy to help. We test drove the truck and it had a few issues, Steve was on top of it. Service repaired everything I noticed and was upfront and honest about some repairs I couldn't have known about. Steve knew my budget and was able to negotiate all repairs into the sale. When the ABS light came on again service was quick to get me in, same day, and it cost me nothing(as it should be). Steve was great with follow up to ensure I was happy with the purchase. In November I had the unique experience of buying a car from Toyota of Murfreesboro. It was unique because I am a 78 year-old female who had always depended on a husband for such things. I explained my situation to the people there and was taken to Gus Gustafson to be guided through the process. When I left, I was not only happy with my car, but felt that Gus was a member of my family. I was never pressured or made to feel inadequate. Every person there was extremely nice, professional (in dress and manner) and the whole experience was very pleasant and not at all the ordeal I had anticipated. Purchased a new 2013 Rav4 for our teenage daughter. Started the process online with Steve Woodard. He was a very nice, personable, unassuming salesman. He was the exact opposite of the "annoying car salesman" that most think of when purchasing an automobile. After test driving the vehicle, we started the purchasing process. He was very patient with us in the showroom as we listed all of the features we wanted for the vehicle. He found exactly what we wanted including interior and exterior color and all the extra features we HAD to have. He also worked with us on lowering the purchase price to our liking as we made the deal. He was very patient with our daughter who can be very indecisive. He even showed us a comparison of the Rav4 with another vehicle she was interested in that was not Toyota. We were convinced that the Rav4 was safer and more reliable. He spent close to 5 hours with us that day. We purchased Saturday night and had the car delivered from Kentucky to the dealership on Monday. Steve was there Monday night to show us all the features and even programmed our 3 iPhones to the bluetooth audio system. We drove the Rav4 home that night. Overall, this was an extremely pleasant transaction. The best experience purchasing a vehicle that we have ever had! Thanks Steve!

I especially liked this dealership because there were so many selections to choose from. I like to see & try what I am buying. I came with my daughter to bring in her Toyota van for service. I did not intend to buy, just look. However, while I was looking, Mr. Jonathan DeBerry came out to help me. He was so vibrant and friendly, I felt I was discussing my choice of cars with an old friend or family member, even though we had just met. I was having a hard time deciding between a Toyota Camry & a RAV4. Mr. DeBerry was so patient & kind, as if he had all day to help me, & it did take a long time!! He let me test drive both vehicles. After all the time he had spent helping me, I decided to go in & discuss prices. I finally decided on the RAV4 & Mr. Deberry was very helpful in negotiating on my behalf with the Sales Manager. I felt I got a really good deal & everyone I talked with to finalize the deal was very helpful. I am not from Tennessee & don't drive in large towns or very busy traffic. I told them I couldn't take it with me that day, but was told they would deliver it to me at my home in Kentucky the next day, at no extra cost to me. Imagine that!! I was so surprised & thrilled!!! On November 7th I had the pleasure to purchase my 2nd Toyota Prius from Jonathan Deberry at TOM. I believe that the Prius is a great car for my personal use and the work I do and not only that, but as a Hybrid, it is of great savings for service and specially gas by giving me 50 miles per gallon approximately. I had work with Jonathan on my first Prius purchase about 2 yrs ago and, althought it was an used car purchased, my experience working with him was so good that I specifically wanted to work with him again for a brand new module. Jonathan and the entire finance team worked diligently on getting me a great price and finance rate. It was a great surprice when they came back to me with such a good interest rate knowing that my credit was not that good. There might be other bigger Toyota deals in the Nashville area, but I won't change the service I got from Jonathan and the entire TOM team. Allow me to preface this review that I typically totally dislike (read "hate") visiting car dealerships and totally dislike (read "hate-hate") interacting with car salesmen. I am sure many people will share that sentiment. We just purchased our 3rd car at the same dealership from the same salesman and we feel compelled to share our, once again, fantastic experience. We first encountered our salesman Mr. Jonathan deBerry several years ago when we were looking for an immediate replacement for our wrecked Toyota 4-Runner. Mr. deBerry is a very patient, likable, friendly and VERY a-typical car salesman. He REALLY listens to the customer to try and find out what type of car the customer is looking for. He clearly and patiently explains the options available, explaining upfront cost and potential cost down the road. Like many other customers it was not easy to make a decision and we frequently changed our minds about our car of interest. At no time mr. deBerry seemed frustrated about our indecision but merely changed gears to keep up with our desires. Mr. deBerry allowed us ALL the time we needed to finalize our decision. And did we take our time... (about 5 months to research cars, options and pricing). He did this without frequent annoying telephone calls. He just stayed in touch and kept us in the loop. He never pushed us to buy a car locally available and was willing to look around for a best match online or with other dealerships. When we finally made up our minds and showed up at the dealership to cut a deal, mr. deBerry changed roles and became the intermediary between us and the sales manager, negotiating the best price on our behalf. We NEVER even imagined that he was NOT on our side in the negotiating process. At several times we seemed at an impasse but Mr. deBerry walked up and down between us and the sales manager and continued to passionately negotiate on our behalf. When we finally got the deal, not only did we get a GREAT price on our trade-in, but also got a GREAT deal on our new car. We looked at comps online and locally and our final deal could not be matched. Buying a new car for most is a scary and mostly unpleasant experience, but mr. deBerry ONCE again proved that buying a car can actually be an enjoyable and satisfying experience. Let me start by saying my car buying process started a month and a half in advance. I stopped by the dealership and met with Darren Douglas and discussed the car I was looking for, took it for a test drive, but was not ready to purchase at that time as I warned to be sure this was the car for me. Then just before Thanksgiving a month later I received a call from Darren saying the car of my dreams with every gadget I wanted in it, fully decked out, was located at the dealership in the specific color I was looking for and he remembered. I test drove it that night and purchased the next day. They worked with me on concerns of receiving a good deal and the process was smooth. I had inquired about a car that they had on their website. I talked back and forth with the salesman. Salesman agreed on a price. When I got there, I my salesman was busy, so a Johnathon helped me out. I had told him the price we agreed on, and he let me take the car for a test drive. They indicated the car passed their 140 point inspection, that it was a great car, one of their salesmans car, that it needed nothing. I noticed that the tire sensor was on, and they told me that they would fill the air up in the tires, it was just low, and that I would need to drive it a little bit for it to clear. So, I said ok, I will take the car going based off that it had passed a rigourous inspection and that the light would clear. First Problem, - When they went to get the car financed, the owner came back in the office and said good news, we got you approved, but the sales price of the car on the form was almost a thousand more than we agreed to, i told him that me and the salesman agreed to a price and he said ok, and i told him the terms on financing would not work. He said ok, and came back in a few and said, i got the terms you want, and than i looked at the form, and they still had the wrong amount for the price. I informed the owner of this, and he said, i cannot sell it at that price, and do these terms. I said that the salesman shouldn't have promised me the car at that price, and you shouldn't have came back saying you agreed to the terms knowing the price me and the salesman agreed to. He finally said ok, we will sell it at the agreed price and the terms. So I bought the car.Have to watch everything they do. Second Problem. The salesman said he would take the car into the service dept for the tire sensor. He came back and said they filled up the tires, and to drive it for a little bit, and it will clear out. So after a few days. The sensor never went away, which tells me that theirs an issue with the sensor. And then I noticed issues with the car, like suspension noises, and a buzzing noise coming from the throttle body. There is no way this car went through the inspection process like they said. I told Jonathon about this, and he said nothing he can do, as the car is as-is. But than I get an email saying to rate them, and let them know of any issues, to see if they can help and resolve. And I tell them about all this, and they just ignore you. I still have not heard back, after telling them about all the problems just after a few days of driving (struts are dried out, and looks to be throttle body possibly the culprit of the engine noise, and tire sensor). I even asked for a copy of the history on the car, and nothing. Basically they did no check on the car, cause if they did, they would have found out all these issues. The salesman are nice when you are trying to buy the car, but than once you buy, you can forget customer service, its gone. My grandmother bought a car from them about 4 years ago, and would be looking to trade hers in soon to get another, and she will not be going to them. I will not recommend anyone going to them either. If you were not sure about sensor, then dont tell me that it will clear, and dont say it went through a 140 point inspection, and nothing was wrong or found, when indeed their were multiple issues.

I was in the market for a 2014 Sequoia with a specific set of options. I contacted a number of dealers that had close to the requirements I was looking for. He looked at ToM inventory. They didn't have what I wanted but he found one close by. Since this was a Saturday night, car was not available 'til Monday. I just wanted to take the time and write a review about my experience at Toyota of Murfreesboro. My salesman Jonathan Nicholls (Internet Sales) who I contacted via the internet scheduled me for an appointment to which was dead on reference the time. I was immediately greeted by Jonathan and Michael Nobles who was assisting Jonathan. I was trading in a 2012 Nissan Rogue which I was not happy with. I've owned Toyotas in the past and never had any trouble with these vehicles, I was switching back to quality and reliability. I was shopping for a 2014 Toyota Camry XLE (6 cylinder). To make a long story short I ultimately ended trading in my other vehicle also which was a 2011 Ford F-150 XLT P/U truck. Both Jonathan and Michael did everything possible to get my payments where I needed them to be and made the overall car buying experience very un-stressful. The exact vehicle I requested was delivered with the exact options I wanted and the vehicle was spotless. The personnel went over all the vehicles controls and made sure we knew exactly how everything operated. Since taking ownership I have received numerous calls asking me if I'm happy with my purchase, is the vehicle up to your standards, operating well and so on. I informed both Jonathan and Michael that although they were close as to the mileage I would be getting they were off a little, I'm getting 28.6 miles per gallon on just my 3rd. tankful of gas, that's better than what I got on my 2012 Nissan Rogue and that was a 4 cylinder. Hats off to all at Toyota of Murfreesboro, definitely worth the ride out there. Thank You Jonathan and Michael. Highly Recommended AAAAA+++++

After responding to a listing for an Avalanche, I was very surprised when I received an email from a salesperson so quickly. Gus Gustafson contacted me and started the process rolling immediately. I was working with another dealer in my home town on a deal, but after talking with Gus on the phone and a couple of emails back and forth I decided to drive the 60 miles to check the truck out. Gus had the Avalanche washed while I was on my way down and was very courteous in making the transaction a pleasant one. Drove into the lot not intending to buy, thinking I couldn't afford any car there on my budget. Darren Douglas walked up and after listening to my family's impossible list of needs - which were for newer, long lasting, problem free vehicle with low mileage and good mpg to replace my minivan, on a low budget - took me to the perfect car - a low mileage, one-owner Toyota Highlander in near perfect condition. I never felt any judgement or pressure, and he didn't flinch when I told him my monthly budget. Another dealer in town had previously told me to come back to reality! Inside the folks were easy to deal with, no pressure, met my price, took my minivan on trade, gave me a low interest rate, and a 4 year bumper to bumper warranty on an 8 year old car - what more could I ask for? Stay far away from this place.......I was helping my son to locate a new truck and we landed at Toyota of Murfreesboro after a day of phone searching at five local Toyota dealers. What a mistake. I was working with the Michael, Internet Sales Manager and a Chris, salesman to work the deal. We were asking for a good deal and informed the two that I had another dealer that would sell us a new 2013 Toyota Tacoma Sport with the PY package (navigation and all) for $29,000.00 out the door. They could not match the deal but we liked the "lifetime" warranty they offered at Murfreesboro. The best they could do was $33,700.00 (which included a couple of accessories we wanted) out the door for a 2014 with the PY package. We wanted to be around $ 31,000.00 since it was a 2014 we expected to pay a bit more. They could not make the deal, but said they found a truck on the lot that would work and they were "excited", by the way they had to stop me from driving out of the lot "saying we are there" come back in, park your car here. They showed us the deal and it looked like we had a deal, and told us to sign the offer and lets get it to finance. Come on sign! My son asked, does it have the same options? They looked like a teenager that had been caught in a lie and faked a look at the spec sheet and quickly said no. The manager said they would throw in the first five services with a laugh, and I said that is no offer Toyota offers that anyway for the first two years! They said that is true and both laughed. We said no deal! I got up again and walked out of the front door to cool off since they were going to bait and switch us and appear to offer something that is already included. They continued to work on the numbers and came out with another truck with our options with $33,700.00,same as before and asked if we accepted and we said when are you leaving we would like to talk it over and the sales manger said now and the salesman had already came out and said I'm going to the house, goodbye. I said we are done and good night. The next day my son called Chris the salesman and told them we had the same $29,000 offer at the other dealer and asked them to match it since he wanted the "lifetime" warranty, Chris laughed and said I suggest you buy it from them and hung up. This dealership has been bankrupt twice before and was recently bought and reopened in January 2013. I believe that unless they have a staffing change the same fate will occur and they will be bankrupt again. I suggest everyone steer clear of this place. By the way look at the fine print, the "lifetime" warranty is not worth the paper it is printed on!!

My wife and I had been talking about upgrading to a bigger vehicle for awhile, but we knew with the monthly payment we had in mind it would be tough. We randomly decided to go out and look around at vehicles one day. We had looked several times at CarMax because we have a history with them, but decided we would give a local business a chance knowing we had already had everything worked out elsewhere. Let's just say Toyota of Murfreesboro blew us away with their top of the line customer service and we have found a new home to purchase new vehicles and to refer our friends to shop as well. We dealt with Martin Goodbread. We told him what we were looking for and he even knew it was going to be a stretch to pull it off, but he did not stop fighting for us the entire time we were in the showroom. Usually when you go places, you feel this enormous amount of pressure from the sales team to push you into buying a vehicle and it is not on your will, but Martin Goodbread was fighting for us the entire time. It felt great to have a sales consultant on our team instead of working for against us. He went above and beyond anything I have ever seen in the dealership world. I use to work for a dealership and we did not provide the customer service that was provided at Toyota of Murfreesboro. Their goal is to lose cars off their lot, not lose customers, and that was greatly shown when they did whatever it took to make sure we got what we wanted for what we wanted it for. My wife and I are recently married and she was very nervous about making a purchase of a vehicle because it was our first big purchase together and Martin Goodbread and the rest of the Toyota of Murfreesboro team were extremely patient with us and knew how to work with us. Are you looking for a vehicle? Are you looking for above and beyond customer service? Are you looking not to be ripped off? Are you looking for a smooth buying process? I went in to have my car aligned and the break pads replaced. The car was returned to me without being aligned and only the front pads were replaced. I returned it immediately and they told me they would fix it. They still didn't replace the back pads and didn't completely align my car. They returned the car to me telling me that it was "perfect" and I'm "good shape." I drove the car for another month and the back pads needed replacing. I will never go here again.

My wife and I recently bought a 2013 Corolla from Toyota of Murfreesboro. We were greeted by numerous people upon our arrival including the owner/general manager. We had previously talked with Chris Ray on a Sunday afternoon. He took a long amount of time with us that day knowing we were not ready to buy at that time. His friendly attitude and knowledge of your automobiles made us want to buy from him. At-A-Boy. We were treated fairly in the business dealings as well. John Lennon in the business office was extremely nice and helpful as well. Not only did he help us that day but the following day I had a question about a feature on the car and he went beyond what I expected to get an answer. Another At-A-Boy. We have only had the car a couple of weeks but enjoy it very much. We will go back there when in need of another car.

Me and my wife recently purchased a vehicle at this dealership and the experience was spectacular! During our hunt for a new car, we went to 8 different dealerships in areas all over Middle Tennessee (including Rivergate, Gallatin, Cool Springs, Metro Center, and Murfreesboro). No one was as as kind and honest as the employees at this dealership. We told them that we didn't want to finance and they didn't push for it. We also told them what our budget was and they didn't try to show us any vehicles out of the limitations of our budget. When it actually came down to negotiating on the vehicle, they didn't try any of the hard-sale tactics that we were used to at all of the other dealerships and were 100% upfront and honest as to what they could do to get us in the vehicle that we wanted. In the end, not only did we get an incredible deal on our vehicle, we left without any reservations/remorse on our purchase (keep in mind, cash sale and one of the biggest single purchases we've ever made), and as a new lifetime customer. I honestly cannot see taking my future business anywhere else and I'm actually pretty excited to see how the service department performs when it comes to maintenance on the new vehicle. The salesmen that we dealt with are Mohammad Kaisi and Darren Douglas. Both were phenomenal and I can't find the words to describe how happy I am with these salesmen. We also had the pleasure of talking to the sales manager, Josh Black, who was equally as amazing. To the employees of TOM, thank you so much for the breath of fresh air that you provide to the end customer and the purchase process. Everyone that we had the pleasure of meeting left us with nothing but smiles and we are ecstatic with our purchase! This was the most relaxed sales that I have ever encountered. Jonathan made me feel so relaxed and he was very relaxed and the transactions could have not gone any better. I didn't feel any high pressure at all. This was the first time I have ever traded cars that the salesman was able to tell me exactly what my final bill was going to be. The tax and all fees were all figured in and told to me before the final decision was made. Working with Jonathan was certainly an enjoyable experience. Jonathan knows how to treat and enter act with people. I would recommend Jonathan and the whole dealership when it comes to buying a car. The dealership was wonderful in finding the car that I wanted to purchase. Jonathan or the dealership didn't try to push something off on me that I didn't want. I would definitely recommend Toyota of Murfreesboro when deciding on a car. Steve Woodard was extremely helpful each time I went to look at vehicles. Once, my husband and I finally decided on a car, the process was as expected. Steve kept us well informed and stayed on top of all the steps leading to the purchase. We had to leave the first day of paperwork and Steve helped us negotiate with his manager and settle on a very fair offer for our trade-in and the new Toyota Camry LE hybrid. Martin Goodbread was an amazing used car salesman (ironic, I know!) He listened to exactly what I wanted, he was willing to negotiate, and never once tried to force me into making a decision before I was ready. He is a gentleman and genuinely treats you with respect. I highly recommend him for your car buying experience! Toyota of Murfreesboro is a great dealership, although many of the other salesmen were more pushy than Marty. They offer a lifetime drive train warranty, and although they are exceptionally far from Fort Campbell, they definitely made my car buying experience worth the drive.

My wife & I were shopping for a new SUV. We narrowed our choices to 3 models: Highlander, Santa Fe, & Traverse. We bought the Highlander because of Toyota's reputation and the lifetime powertrain warranty Toyota of Murphreesboro (TOM) offers. Our Highlander drives like a dream; we're looking forward to our first long-distance trip. Our buying experience was painless. As a USAA member, we used their buying service to set the price. Even though TOM doesn't participate in the USAA program, they honored USAA's price quote. Our salesman, Chris Ray, was very professional and courteous and took a low-key approach. We were allowed to drive a Highlander, with the engine & features we wanted, all day so we could get a feel for the SUV. Because we were "walk-ins" and TOM had sold a high number of vehicles that day, we had to wait to see a Finance person. While waiting, Chris' Sales Mgr, Josh, and TOM's owner were very apologetic for the delay and offered us drinks several times. Josh even gave us a "coupon" for a free tank of gas to use at a future visit. Chris had to order our new SUV as TOM didn't have one in the color we wanted. Additionally, we added a couple of features which TOM installed in an expeditious and professional manner. I found TOM's Service Dept will be as courteous & professional as its Sales Dept. I have no qualms having our new Highlander serviced at TOM. Even though we live 30 miles from TOM & there are other Toyota dealerships closer to our home, we'll continue using TOM for our service needs. So far, we're very pleased with TOM's Sales & Service staffs and believe we made the right choice by buying our new Highlander from TOM.

Okay. I can't say ANYTHING about buying a car here, or how the dealership is overall, but what I can say is that I called to inquire about a car because it looked like it fit my criteria. Problem is, I live in Los Angeles and don't have the ability to travel across the country to look at my prospective car(s). The short of it is that I spoke to a man named Gus and he answered all my questions. After hanging up, a few minutes later he CALLS ME BACK and says, "Hey man, I couldn't say anything before because I was inside but..." and told me about a few problems the car had. "I just wanted to be HONEST with you since you live all the way out there." HONEST. Wow. I can't even describe how amazing that made me feel. Seriously, as I sit here typing this review I'm still a bit shocked. Bottom line: Gus is an incredible guy and if you are even thinking about buying here, buy with him. This dealership earned my trust after 5 minutes.

He took all my information and directed me to a super easy financing link on their website. I got a call later that day with my payment options for the van we were interested in. I would recommend anyone interested in purchasing a vehicle to consider doing so here. We stopped by planning to just look around. The sales staff did not rush us like some dealers do and we loved that. We wanted to look and take our time. Jonathan DeBerry stopped by and ask us if he could help us with anything and we told him we were just looking. After we were there a little while Jonathan checked back in with us and we were ready to look at the Toyota RAV4. Jonathan was great to work with and went out of his way including staying long after closing to do all he could to earn our business. I am happy to say due to his attitude and knowledge we purchased a 2013 RAV4. We went through the financing process with John Lennon. He was very knowledgable about the different options offered to extend the warranty. He was also wonderful to work with. They did not have the color we wanted so the manager was able to locate one for us. We made the deal on Saturday night and picked up our new car on Monday. That was also a wonderful experience. Jonathan met us and explained the car was still being cleaned, he offered us something to drink and was a pleasure to work with again. He took his time explaining the owner's manual and other vehicle information. He then demonstrated some of the functions in the vehicle. He made the process very smooth. Prior to us driving off in our new car each of the employees we worked with came out and congratulated us on our purchase. Jonathan shared his business card and told me if I had any questions to call him anytime and if he did not know the answer he would find it. I must say this dealership will earn my business again and I will encourage any friends or family looking for a vehicle to look here first . Thank you for a job well done.

My husband and I purchased our second Toyota from Murfreesboro Toyota this week. Our first purchase was a new 2006 Avalon that has provided us with excellent service. On three occasions, I had a fender bender, took the Avalon in for repair, Lisa in the Service Dept. was great and the Avalon was returned to me looking like 3 other cars had never hit me. Our second purchase, this week, was for a 2013 Prius 3. We dealt with Mike Nobles, John Schmitz, Gus Gustafson and Andy all of whom were professional and fun to deal with!!! We had been looking for a couple of weeks for a new Camry Hybrid and were dealing with the local dealership who just couldn't get the numbers where we needed them to be comfortable. My wife found a car that matched everything we were looking for on cars.com at Toyota of Murfreesboro and called and spoke with Steve Woodard who said he thought he could get the numbers where we needed to be but they needed to see our trade-in first to be sure. Steve then put the owner of the dealership, Andy, on the phone to speak to my wife and she explained that we did not want to drive two hours each way just to be disappointed and him come back with a number $30-$40 a month higher than we wanted to be. Andy said he was very confident that he could get us where we needed to be but he needed to see our trade in first as well but that he promised he would do the best he could from the start and not play games with us like so many dealers do. We decided to make the drive and we are so happy we did, Steve was great from the moment we started and Andy came out to greet us as soon as we got there as well. They got us in our 2013 Camry Hybrid exactly where we needed to be without all the hassle and haggling typical of most dealerships. It's nice to see a business do what they say they are going to do from the start and not try to play any games in the process. We will definitely be back whenever we need another vehicle.

I browsed around different Toyota dealers looking for a new Prius. I visited Cool springs as well as Murfreesboro and customer service was the decisive factor as why I bought my new car in the Murfreesboro Store. Jonathan and their manager Andy made us feel welcome, respected, appreciated and valued. They did everything in their hands to satisfy our request not only for a great price but for a specific color and specific package. Jonathan DeBerry took the extra time to explain me every single future of my new car and also offer to help me in the future if I have a question so we don't have to read the entire manuals - which are huge! Also they didn't have the car I wanted right there in their location but promised me they would get it by the next day at 9 am. I got there at 8:30 and the car was ready waiting for me. Their service was so exceptional that we even drove all the way from Hendersonville to Murfreesboro to do business with them. Totally recommended using these nice people, do not go to Cool spring though, people there are pretentious and rude, they close the door on my husband's face when he was walking behind the guy that was trying to sell us the car, plus the manager lied to us as well.

Went in to get a recall done on my 2004 Corolla & came away w/a low-mile 2011 Camry. Traded my daughter's car & she inherited my 2004. We are both happy with our "new"-to-us Toyotas. Salesman John Grimes showed me the available cars based on what I "thought" I wanted & was really patient as I browsed. Promised I'd come back & John was off but El Shan helped me find "the car." John helped convince me I was ready for a "newer" car & El had it waiting for me! Be prepared to spend several hours & time for follow-up, but a great experience overall. If you don't want the add-ons, just don't get them...that's something to think about carefully considering the in-place warranty on the cars. I truly appreciate them and love driving my Camry. Am looking forward to my first road trip. Thank you all at "TOM"... P.S. A friend of mine just visited their service department within the past couple of days & expected a huge $ air conditioner "fix" as diagnosed by another auto repair shop. I wanted a specific tundra and they told me that they could get me what ever I wanted. The problem that I had was I wanted things removed from the truck so I could lower my costs for things I didnt need. They handled it beautifully. I ended up ordering my truck with all the specifics that I wanted and didn't want. It was delivered on time and with everything I asked for. The finance dept was very quick and helpful. Basically I had a great experience here at toyota of murfreesboro. Jonathan Deberry was very helpful and returned every call and text as soon as possible. He found the info I required and he even called me back from his engagement party to answer my questions. Thats dedication to customer service. I was just out going around shopping with one of my best friends. Actually, we were just looking at cars, just for the fun of it, when we stopped by this dealership. We were approached by Steve Woodard, and let me say, the experience was nothing but amazing. Although I was initially interested in a Scion FR-S, that ended up not working for me, so I ended up with a Toyota Camry, instead. But no matter the struggle I think I put him through, he never once gave up, and not in a pushy way. He worked with me to find me a car that is perfect for me. Although the sporty car ended up not being right, he found a car that could grow with me into a family car. This was my first time buying a new car. I was very nervous and did not know really what to expect, all I have ever heard is the terrible experiences some people go through. My experience was far from terrible! I went to several dealers around Murfreesboro, but I was not impressed by how the sales people treated me. I had done my research on a few new cars I was looking at, and I felt like some of the sales people were taking advantage of the fact I was a young single female walking around a car lot. I did not get that feeling at Toyota. I was greeted by a sales associate, Will West. He was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind. Over the next few weeks, every person there I encountered were very kind and answered every question I had. I checked around and searched many sites to make sure all my numbers were right on the car I was selling and my new car I wanted. I was not over charged and I was very well taken care of. Our company purchased a new Toyota Avalon Hybrid from this dealer. The dealership is not new but it was clean. However, it did seem crowded, both inside and out. Our salesman, Steve Woddard was terrific! He was persistent in earning our business without being pushy. Steve went over all the features of the car and helped program our phone and some of the music, among other things. When the car came out of detailing, in preparation for us driving off, Steve was not happy with how clean the wheels were; so he took it back to detailing to have them do it again. I'm sure that didn't make him any friends in the detailing department but it impressed me and would give me a reason to buy from him again. Also, we would like to mention the finance manager, Martin Goodbread for his thoroughness in explaining various options available to us and making the endless signing of paperwork pass quickly. I'm sure these two people are a good reason for the dealerships success.

I have been looking for a car that would fit into my budget. while walking around the lot i came across the car i have been looking for for several months. i was approached by Steve Woodard. he asked what i was interested in and what my budget was. he worked with me for several hours (passed there closing time) to get the price down to what i could afford. he was never pushy or saying this is a one time offer. i drove off the lot in the car i was looking for and have enjoyed it thoroughly. If you need a good car i recomend going to this dealership and ask for Steve Woodard.

As a long-term Toyota owner, I was in the market for a new vehicle. The excellence in Toyota Scion's customer service started before I even entered the dealership. John and Edward spoke with me several times over the phone regarding my vehicle inquiry. They did an excellent job of suggesting a new vehicle that was exactly what I wanted, as well as being within my budget. The financing option was excellent, and met my specific needs. After purchasing 2 new toyotas from other Toyota dealerships over the years, the high degree of customer service was greatly appreciated. They answered all of my questions during the process, and the prompt follow up after my purchase regarding questions and my satisfaction with the experience was top notch. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who desires quality customer service and a premium vehicle at an affordable price.

My family purchased three cars from this dealer in the past year. I went to purchase a fourth this time i was trading in a car. I was offered $ 30,000 for my car from a non Toyota dealer. Toyota of Murfreesboro offered me $ 22,000 they told me Toyota can't discount there cars like other dealers so that was the best they could do. So I decided to take my car to Toyota of Nashville they offered $ 28,500 for my trade and a prius V3 for 1,000 less then the Prius V2.. The sales manager from Toyota of Murfreesboro said bring your car back and lets see if we made a mistake. He started to dance and could not give me a straight answer but would not match the price. So I saved over $ 7,500 by buying from Toyota of Nashville. My question to you is is saving thousands worth a trip to Nashville. I work in the public servicde industry as a paramedic and will tell thousands of people my experience. I used to recomend Toyota of Murfreesboro to everyone I will no longer do this but I will share my negative experience with them!

On 1-08-13 I called and spoke to John at service dept. and told him we had recently purchased a used 2010 Lexus SUV from some one else and that we only had one actual factory key but that the salesman had given us another key that did not go to this car and told us we might be able to get it reprogrammed to work in our car. He told me that he had had some success doing this and would try his best. After trying to reprogram he announced that we had to pay them for trying but FAILING and that of course it would not work because it was not a key for that car. In the first place why did he run the test if he knew it would not work? And in the second place why would you charge someone for something you could not fix? He insisted we pay even though they could not accomplish the job and that they could order us a new key and program it for over $350.00 plus what we already paid to NOT have the other one programmed. Clearly Toyota of Murfreesboro has NO INTEGRITY in their service department. I am so thankful I did not buy the car from them. Debbie McQuistion

A couple of days ago I traded in myustang for a new 2012 Prius C from Toyota of Murfreesboro and I was more than satisfied with my experience and my purchase. Dwayne Pegues was my sales consultant. I had already researched what car I wanted prior to going to the dealership and my mind made up on the Prius C. Dwayne was respectful of my decision and didn't try and push me into any other car which I appreciated. Also, I am not a tech savy person and didn't even realize what all of the features meant but Dwayne sat out with me in the car and paired my phone and contacts for me and then showed me all of what my car had to offer and explained how to do everything in a way I could understand. They were very reasonable when it came to my trade in and every member of the staff I came in contact with was helpful and curteous. I highly reccommend them and I LOVE my new Prius C!!

Do NOT have your vehicle serviced here. I was on a road trip and had front differential problems and vibration in the front end. I approached the service department and told them exactly what I KNEW was wrong. I told them I needed a new differential.Mike, from service, told me that I was in fact wrong. He told me it was NOT the differential but the U joints and CV axles. Two weeks and $1900 dollars later I got the truck... NOTHING WAS FIXED. Mike's explanation: "Must be the differential". A week later, knowing I needed to replace the differential, I called Mike again, provided the VIN number, and asked what ratio differential I needed. With out even looking anything up, Mike said, "4.10 ratio axle". I spent $500 dollars on the differential, spent 6 hours installing it and test drove it and almost blew up the front end! I called Mike back and he said nonchalantly, "Hmm... must be the 3.727 ratio differential". This place will take your money. Costumer respect is non-existent here. More importantly, perhaps, is the fact that these so called "factory certified technicians".... "Toyota experts", if you will, are simply stupid. I don't know how else to phrase it. Their incompetence has cost me over $2300. I understand that mistakes are made, but the most frustrating aspect of it all is that the dealship denies any mistake it's made. They figure if a customer IS or WAS on a road trip that they'll never see them again. Beware.

A fake smile only goes so far. Clearly did not want to bid for my business. Buying a prius. They only had 2, so would not go lower than their $1000 markup.Went on to bash Beaman, saying they mark up more. Fed me misinformation on the CARS Cash allowance rebate system. Said only full coverage insurance is eligible. Called Beaman in Nashville, offered me a little lower price. Working with me on the CARS ($4500) . finally I am getting what I want.

I bought a new 2005 Prius from Neill-Sandler and have nothing but pleasant experiences. They explain everything carefully and are willing to accommodate my schedule. Their service is priced fairly and I've never had any problems in the two years I've been dealing with them.My only disappointment is that my previous dealership (Ford) gave me an excellent detailed summary of the condition of my car including tire wear.
