I had the price I wanted at the sales team, but once I reached the finance everything started to change. I didnt follow through with the details. I questioned the numbers but was reassured that the discounts where in the paper work. I didn't see it. Realized after the fact. Found a lot of errors in the paper work. Additional fees and extra charges. My tags where paid through for 2017 and the plates could have been moved to the new purchase. Several other items should have been talked about but where not. Lesson learned, I have myself to blame. Should not have trusted them. I was a 15 year customer loyalty, but was not important for them to have me return to purchase my next vehicle in 2021. All I can do is share my experience with other, neighbor, co-workers, friends, and other social media channels. Brand and reputation was not important for every customer.

This is my 4th Toyota and the people service and consistency is what I demand for anything I buy. Great dealership from top to bottom. Because I am in sales myself, I love an outstanding salesperson. Just want to add one additional note in regards to your surveys, they are not realistic and put the dealership and salespeople at a disadvantage. Please develop a more honest type if survey. Encouragement is a better teaching tool than demerits.

brought my car to Treasure Coast Toyota 4 times.1st time - I went in for an oil change and was given 3 pages worth of things that "needed" to be fixed.2nd time - I came in for an oil change and was told I needed to get my brakes fixed and new tires.*My car would not start a few days after bringing it in to Treasure Coast Toyota, so I brought it to a family friend mechanic who replaced the starter.*3rd time - I came in to get one of my tires replaced.*Again, my car would not start a few days after bringing it into Treasure Coast Toyota. I brought it back to the family friend mechanic who replaced the starter, again, with warranty.*4th time - Came in to get my brakes and rotors resurfaced. Told them the last two times I brought my car in, within a week, my car wouldn't start. He tried to "help" me figure out why something like that would happen and I explained I already know why it happened. He assured me my car was in good hands. *While waiting fo my car I spoke with another woman who "coincidentally" had the same experience, where her car also spontaneously wouldnt start after bringing it in to Treasure Coast Toyota*Immediately after leaving the shop after "getting my brakes fixed", my car started making loud, grinding noises when I would use the brakes.

For 2 months I perused the Toyota dealerships within a 500 mile radius for a certified vehicle that suited my needs. I took my Toyota Tacoma in for a tire pressure sensor that stopped working after a tire change. I was told that the dealer that put the tire on damaged it. When I took the truck back to the original dealer there was not damage to the sensor. When they broke down the tire there was no damage. I bounced back and forth from each dealer a total of 4 times and then was told it would cost 183.00 for the new sensor. I took it to St Lucie Battery and Tire and got everything fixed for under 100.00. They lied to make money. Don't trust them.

I had emailed ahead of time to test drive two vehicles, and to have questions answered before taking the time to drive an hour to the dealership. Questions were answered (I had been getting run-around answers from other dealers), and both vehicles were presented well. When Neville, my dealer rep, noticed a couple of things amiss with one of the vehicles, I didn't test drive it. I traded in a vehicle, and knew exactly how much I would get for it (autotrader.com done ahead of time). It was a lengthy process, and kept my family members waiting, but we were treated with kid gloves (cold water, they served a meal to me, etc.). Susan was also very kind and helpful.

My 19 year old daughter had been looking for a 2012 Jetta for several months and finally found one listed online here at Treasure Coast Toyota that she could afford. She had saved for four years and was ready to buy her first car for cash. We live in Sarasota but were more than willing to drive the three hours to purchase the car. Jody was very helpful over the phone and assured me that the price that was advertised on the website was indeed the price I would pay. We were very excited and drove over the following day to test drive the car and make the purchase.The car was in perfect condition and the test drive was great. It was late in the day, but Eileen processed our paperwork quickly and we were on the road home by 7:45 pm. We stopped in Okeechobee for dinner and then continued on our way at about 9:45 pm. We were about fifteen minutes outside of Okeechobee when the EPC (electronic power control) light came on and the car engine lurched several times like it would stall. My daughter pulled off the road and we tried to figure out what was wrong. We decided not to try to drive any further since SR 70 is all back roads and very desolate that late at night. We were able to make it back to Okeechobee and booked a hotel for the night. I left a message on the voicemail at the dealership at 10:30 pm so they would know what was happening.I called the next morning and they had already listened to my message and were expecting my call and put me right through to Eileen. She said to bring the car back and their service department would take a look at it. I decided to drive the Jetta since I was unsure how it would perform. I was on the road for only five minutes when the engine shuddered and stalled and I had to pull off in a driveway. I called Eileen and she said she would have a tow truck dispatched immediately and that she was so sorry that this was happening to us. We drove the hour back to the dealership and the tow truck arrived within five minutes with our car. Eileen told us the service department would work on the Jetta and we decided to go have lunch and run some errands. Everyone at the dealership was so kind and apologetic that we felt better right away.The service department ended up sending the Jetta to the Volkswagen dealership for the necessary repair - the speed sensor had gone bad. Normal in town driving would not have effected this, but we immediately left to drive across the state and the higher speed finally caused the sensor to fail.Eileen turned a very stressful situation into something wonderful. She took care of everything and we were not charged for the repairs. She even reimbursed me for my hotel without even being asked. There are not words to express how grateful my daughter and I are for everything she did for us. I will be telling this story for a very long time to come.

Me and my wife had been to 4 other dealerships here on the Treasure Coast and Toyota in Stuart was our last dealership before heading south to West Palm to find a car and dealership we would be feel comfortable enough to buy from, so we stopped look at some different Model Toyota's, we were immediately greeted by John Green. He politely acknowledged my wife first then myself by introducing himself.We walked around as John discussed with us different models and features each car had.I explained to him we would be purchasing a car for my wife and I let him know the importance of how safe of a car I wanted to trust to put my wife in. This car buying experience was one of the very best car buying experiences I have ever hard. I am 75 years yoiung so I have purchased a few cars. It was your newspaper ad that got me into your dealership. I still get my morning paper. Have a cup of coffee and wake up reading the paper paper. My generation does not read the news on line.I called new car sales and talked with Raquel Bruce. It was a pleasant conversation on Fri April 3rd. I indicated I would be stopping in on Sat. April 4th. Since buying my Level 2 Prius in July of 2014 I have fallen in love with the Prius and I kicked myself for buying a Level 2. I did not know if I would like the Prius so went for a cheaper model. With all the traveling we do 15,000 miles in 8 months I missed the StaXm radio, Nav and my wife wanted back up camera. I did not want and after market shop to mess around with the electronics. Since July 2014 I have been stopping into dealerships in Rochester and Buffalo New York and just recently in Vero Beach. I could not bring myself to upgrade to a level 3 in a 2014 or recently into a 2015 with the prices dealerships were giving me. The price difference was too great. On Sat at Treasure Coast I found the car/color I wanted. Raquel had a 2015 out front waiting for me. Raquel got the price difference for trading my 2014 level 2 to a 2015 level 3. We were miles apart. I have my rock bottom price. I was then asked to give my highest trade price. I increased my rock bottom by $500. Raquel came back with "We have a deal" I was in shock. I had been looking for 8 mo. I NEVER expected to buy a car last Sat. NEVER!That was just start have the wonderful experience. Treasure Coast dealership is lucky to have Raquel Bruce, Connie Martin and Constance Howe. These are knowledgable women, customer oriented, techincally outstanding in a "Man's" world. I enjoyed working with theses assests to Treasure Coast. It was the first time I bought a car and never talked to a man. No where in the purchase line was there a male. Connie Martin had to do a ton of paperwork was I have NY plates to transfer and needed a 30 Fl. temp. plate. In addition I said I NEVER NEVER would ever buy an extended warrantly again but Connie talked me into it again. Connie did an outstaning job as finance officer. I never thought I would be driving the care home on Sat. but I was able to even do that. By the time we got to Constance Howe it was getting late and my wife and I were on over load by 6:30 pm from a 2 pm start. Constance was more than willing and Helpful with the electronices. She was willing to make another appointment to complete the rreview. At 7 pm I had enough. Enough, I want the General Manager to read this note. After a harrowing 3 hour drive from Naples, we were greeted by the sincere smile of Jody Cohen. Jody worked hard on our needs and why we needed the particular family vehicle she helped us select. She genuinely cared and put herself in our position because she had been there once. She consistently impressed and never lost her cool throughout the entire process. She shifted her days around to accomodate us and stayed beyond her scheduled time to leave. That is service and excellence to the furthest degree. She kept our 3 year old entertained, while constantly tending to us. The whole experience was fun, educational, and exciting. If you are enthusiastic about buying a car whether it be a toyota, or otherwise - go and see Jody, she is a great laugh. The entire support staff were fantastic and pleasurable to deal with. I was very pleased with my experience with treasure coast toyota! I felt like from the moment I contacted them the internet sales woman (Amanda) was very prompt and honest in answering my questions and getting me the price I requested. The salesman Neville was awesome and explained everything to me clear and made sure I understood everything I was signing. The finance lady really went to work for me and got me the best deal I think I could have got for a first time car buyer! Constance was just wonderful I felt like she really rounded off the whole experience and made me feel great about my purchase! She hooked me up with a whole bunch a freebies like car sponges, squiggies, car wash soap, hats etc. And took me outside hooked my iPhone up to my car and walked me through how to work every part of my new car. Very happy with my experience and thanks to treasure coast toyotas prompt response and determination to have me drive away in a new car they got my business! I was taking to multiple other dealers at the same time, but treasur coast got me on quick and closed the deal before anyone else could. I just got home and the other dealers are blowing up my phone.....well too late treasure coast Toyota was on it!!! Toyota of Stuart was ahead of all their competitors! My sales person Robert was exceptional! I've met with him three different times (every time I change my oil, haha) and he's always greeted me a smile and remembers my whole story and name. This time the numbers finally all lined up to get me into the car of my dreams. He went above and beyond and I will certainly send anyone looking for a car his way. Constance is amazing also. She was so knowledgable about all the new technology in my new car. toyotas are great but this dealership is NOT. I recommend finding the next closest toyota dealership and skip this one!i found a used car on this dealerships website. it said $1000 off this weekend (NO HAGGLE) upon driving 2 in a half hours i finally got to the dealership. once i sat down the sales guy hands me a piece of paper and its $3000 off the original sale price. this was the only positive thing that happened but at the same time you can't trust there word because it was supposed to be no haggle pricing and i didn't even haggle! The finance manager Jeff was extremely rude and since I'm young took advantage of me telling me that a tier1 individual with an 850 credit score couldn't get an interest rate lower than 5%. Once i finally bought the car and am about to leave the sales guy comes up and says that unfortunately the vehicle has not had its safety inspection yet and that the guy who does it wasn't in today. This dealership will lie and do anything to get a sale. They waited till the last possible minute after i already bout it to tell me that i have to drive my trade in 2 in a half miles back home and come back the next day and i can pick it up. I had contacted this dealership 3 days in advance so they knew i was coming and the fact that they would even advertise a vehicle which hasn't been through its mandatory safety inspection is just irresponsible. The sales manager offered me a free t-shirt for my troubles. What a joke!Kelly was the only one to sympathize with me and my wife.

Surprise, surprise, surprise! We went to see what the 2015 RAV4 looked like, and I surprised myself and brought one home. Neville Silvera, my salesperson, was so helpful and knowledgeable, the procedure went as smoothly as can be. Neville provided all the correct answers to my questions without skipping a beat. There was no high pressure tactics. From Neville, we went to see Jeff Simons in Finance, another extremely, knowledgeable and pleasant gentleman to do business with. He provided us with a lot of insight on financing the car. John Harrison came in to finish up the financing end and was as pleasant and knowledgeable as Neville and Jeff. Neville then brought us in to see Constance Howe, (Connie), what a charming, informative, delightful & pleasant, customer service representative. Between Neville, and Connie, I felt like a VIP, and it was a wonderful experience!!! They both went the extra mile to make sure it was a pleasant experience. Kudos to you for having them on your staff.

For two weeks I had been emailing back and forth with the internet sales person about one particular vehicle. Long story short, when I finally was able to make it to the dealership, my vehicle had been sold the previous day. I was pretty devastated since my heart was really set on that vehicle. After test driving various other vehicles there was one that was being showcased right in front of the doorway. I thought I could never afford that so I really didn't even give it a serious look..until the salesman was working with our numbers stated "how about that one". I was surprised he said "we could make that work". They paid off my trade, and even took a few thousand loss on my new purchase. Great deal, great service; and they even order our kids a pizza since they were starving throughout the four hour deal.

After much online research, we found a great deal on a 2015 Avalon XLE at Treasure Coast Toyota. The car was as advertised, the right color, no surprises, and I received a fair appraisal on my trade. GEORGE COLE is a very knowledgeable and pleasant service person with whom to work. the only drawback is related to the online scheduling system, which has failed twice for me.

Treasure Coast Toyota always does the Service right the first time. I have been taking our cars to them for 14 years, and I have never been dissapointed with there quality of service. Mike Matos the service advisor even tried to talk me out of a Trans flush and fill which not due untill 100kmiles, this is Honesty and Integrity! I never second guess my decicion to have our cars serviced there. You won't have to take your cars back for service the second time, because they do it right the first time!

I just leased a 2015 Toyota corolla at reassure coast Toyota and had probably the best experience I have ever had with a car dealership. My salesperson was frank kilian and he could not have been more helpful or informative. He walked me through the entire process and then turned me over to jeff the finance manager who bent over backwards to make this deal work for me. He even lowered the price to get my monthly payment at where I was comfortable. I can easily give this dealership 5 Stars in every category. what a pleasurable experience it was from the time I drove onto the lot till the time I drove off in my brand new Toyota.

Excellent adjustment to my service schedule not being recorded for some reason. i arrived was greeted professionally and asked to step inside. after a few mins i realized something was wrong. Dom advised me that for some reason the online service scheduler did not work and i was not in the system but he would handle! it was a busy day for them and they worked me in and the experience was appreciated.

I just started doing business with Treasure Coast Toyota of Stuart since September of this year. I bought my daughtet's Corolla here and was so happy with the customer service, the price and professionalism of the team that I returned last night to buy a car for myself.John Harrison whom I have been doing business with since 2001 was very helpful and instrumental in getting me my new car, a Rav 4 which I love. He worked with me like he always does and I would never go anywhere else to buy my cars. This is the fifth car I have bought from him and the second for my daughter. He listens to your needs and goes above and beyond to help you.The deal was finalised over the phone and by the time I got there the car was cleaned and ready to be delivered. John Green who did the initial paper work and showed me certain things about the car was very friendly, courteous and professional. Ron was the Financial person who does the legal aspect of it and he had me in and out of his office in a timely manner signing all those documents. Last but not least, Connie who handles the Toyota Guard program explained everything to me and although it was after closing hours took me to my car to explain how to set up my Bluetooth etc. She did not let me feel rushed but took the time to answer all my questions. I was finished with everything in an hour and a half. The shortest time it has ever taken me to purchase a car. I am now encouraging my husband to come and get his car here as he will soon be in the market to purchase a new car. I definitely will return to Treasure Coast Toyota of Stuart and will be recommending here to others.

This is a great dealership. I've purchased many cars in the past and greatly hated the process. I really wish I found treasure coast Toyota sooner it was a pleasure to do business with them. I am a disabled OIF veteran an am on a set income so I had a budget I needed to fallow. I came in my salesman was Adil Azhar I explained to him my situation and I was not sure if he would be able to help me. Well Adil did help me greatly, he knows the product very well and he got me a deal that was perfect for my situation and helped me perfectly so I was able to purchase a great ride. He is the best salesman I have worked with to date, and like I said I have worked with many. Well when it came time to finance I was nervous about that cause I have came across some real pushy arrogant finance managers before so I didn't know what to expect there. Once again I was real pleased very happy. I worked with Ronald Seckinger it was a real pleasant experience I was impressed there as well. When it came time to accept delivery of the car that's when Constance Howe stepped in and once again was given a pleasant and happy experience. She was very good at not being overwhelming in the information on delivery she made it very easy to take in a more in debt presentation of what the car could do. All and all my salesman Adil Azhar was great, Ronald in finance great, Constance for delivery of my new Toyota was great. Also before I left Adil and Constance made sure I was happy and I was very much so. I will use them again in the future and recommend them to anyone i know that needs a car.

I have been dealing with Stuart Toyota since 1999. Since the recent switch in owners, the service has been excellent. I have bought two cars and leased three. The service Dept. manager with whom I dealt, Dom Aloise, is excellent in all ways.....he is extremely knowledegable and thourogh and very helpful and patient. I highly recommend him. I have not bought or leased a car in over two years, so can't speak for the sales people. They seemed friendly, helpful and not at all high- pressure when I was looking around the showroom while waiting for my car to be serviced.

I moved to Florida 1 year ago from New York. I was driving a 2009 Toyota Venza. I had regular maintenance performed on my vehicle over the course of the year. The staff was always great. Scheduling service was always easy and could be done within a day. Recently the vehicle was in for maintenance. I was wondering the showroom. I stopped to look at a 2014 Venza. Robert, a salesman approached me and we started talking. At the time I wasn't even looking to buy a new car. His easy going, no pressure personality made the difference. I told Robert what I wanted and he found the car for me including the color. From start to finish he made the whole process very simple. I commend the entire staff at Treasure Coast Toyota. I have had Toyotas for the 14 years we have lived in the Stuart area, and have taken all of them to this dealer. This time, I needed to get my mini-van in for a required maintenance and oil change and replacement lift handle before leaving for a trip. Not only did Mike Matos get me in that day, he had all the maintenance done so that I could pick up my van up at 5 pm. the same day. From the young lady who met me at the check-in lane to the fellow who washed my car, to the other young lady who brought me my van at the end of the day, everyone was courteous and expedient.

He called the extended warranty company and arranged for the replacement part (not in stock), called several times and communicated effectively to give updated information to ensure the process went smoothly without any pressure. I drove some 80 plus miles having seen a car on the internet. The internet staff was wonderful! Answered all my questions and even more, knowing I had a long drive if I was going to at all. They even took extra pictures for me! Dealership was very nice inside, busy even early in the morning. Everyone was very friendly. Test drive of the car went fine with no pressure in the least. We finally came to terms on my trade which was fair enough meaning they made money of course but such is the nature of a trade. It was a pre-owned car (older) but they detailed it (took a long time) and gassed it up for me. All in all well worth the drive. A bit of a negative: The salesman was to follow up with me on a couple of things on the car I purchased but four days later - haven't heard a word. I called his cell phone and left a voice mail as well. The lesson? No matter what sales tell you they will do after the sale - be sure they put it on the "We Owe" document.

When I purchased my car, the agreement included batteries for life and tires for life. After the dealership was sold, the new owner decided NOT to honor the agreements of the former owner. And I was never notified that the dealership had made this change to the previous agreements. It was not until I needed new tires that I was informed of the change. If they feel there is nothing wrong with not honoring the tires for life agreements, then why not inform the customers of this change. I called to discuss the policy change with the manager and he never called me back. I had been servicing my vehicle at this dealership since I purchased my car, but that will change. I will not bring my car there ever again and will not buy my new car from them. How do they expect to keep their customers??

Had as extended warranty issue. They Actually covered a rather large problem with my Highlander rear automatic door. Separated from control arm don't know why but Toyota replaced the whole rear door control motor and arm attachment. Vehicle hAd 52000 on it but didn't matter, replaced everything. I'm sure it was Toyota that ok'd it but sure was nice to not have to argue. The service mAn was typical, you know cool acting but came through in the end. Hate to leave Earl but I live in Stuart and it's a long drive to Palm Beach Gardens. Thanks for the pleasant repair. Frank

Rene and Rachael walked us through the whole process. This is our first time buying a car and for that reason we decided to take that more reliable route which is getting a new car. And they work with us outstandingly and did an excellent job to work around our budget and offer discount and good trades for our old vehicle. I recently moved to Florida from NY and chose Toyota of Stuart as my closest dealer for service on my Tundra. I have been there twice now and have had a great customer experience both times but its my latest visit I would like to comment on. I had made an appointment for a 10,000 mile service for my Tundra. I showed up at the time I was told but through some error the appointment was never entered into the computer so they didn't have me down. Rather than turn me away and make another appointment the Service Manager Dom Aloise came right out and told me that he would be able to accommodate me and took my truck right in for the service. He asked me to have a seat in their waiting area and even offered something to eat from their BBQ grill they were having that day. When my truck was ready he personally went and got it from the lot and drove it around for me. Now thats service I am not used to and will definitely tell everyone how Dom and everyone at Toyota of Stuart goes out of their way to be courteous to their customers and I plan on establishing a long lasting relationship with them for all my vehicle needs.

I'm not sure if it's just the sales person I worked with, or the dealership as a whole, but they seem very dishonest. I had talked to their internet sales team and decided to take a look at a cheap used car for me to commute to work with. When i got their, their sales person Neville refused to let me see the car I wanted to look at. He attempted to herd me into another car, which was double the sticker price, and in much much worse condition. When I expressed that I was not interested, he continued to push the car. He refused to return my drivers license and my keys for the trade in I had so I could not leave for about two hours. I did finally end up leaving this dealership never to return again. Avoid this place as they seem to have fairly dishonest sales practices.

I went to this dealership after finding a car online that I was intrested in. I was looking for a used car to commute with and had decided on a fairly low budget. When i got there, the sales person Neville Silvera refused to show me the car I had wanted to look at. He insisted that i look at a 350z that was in terrible condition. The car I had come down to look at was priced at about 6,000, and looking at it when the salesperson was not around, was in decent shape. He refused to allow me to look at it when he was there, kept herding me towards what is a very poor looking and running car. I told him I wasn't interested in that car, but he ran my credit anyways, told me that "he could do it" for about $15,000.. which is more than double what i had wanted to spend. I ended up having to fight with him to get the keys to my trade-in back before I could leave and go to a more reasonable dealer that actually let me look at the car I wanted to buy, not the one they wanted to push on me.

I traded in my 2005 Scion XA for a 2014 XD and had an excellent salesperson, John Green, who helped through the purchasing process and informing me of all the new changes with the new XD. The trade in process was relatively easy with some negotiation which was finalized agreeably and pleasantly with the sales manager (whose name I cannot recall). John introduced me to about everyone with whom I may ever have contact with when I return for maintenance services. All the employees were very pleasant and friendly, and answered any questions. This was my 1st automatic transmission after years of driving a manual, and John helped through my first test drive to become comfortable with the car doing most of the work. I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone who wants a first - class, hassle free trade in/Scion or Toyota purchase experience.

Positively the worst dealership I have had experience with. Fraudulent advertising, lying, and not delivering goods as advertised. I purchased a 2013 certified camry that was advertsed on auto trader as having the preferred accessory package which it did not. In addition the sales girl told me that it had the backup camera which it did not. After speaking with 3 salesman the day after my purchase they said the advertised accessory pacjage was for when the car was sold new. I called Alexandra and she said she woul call me back. Well she did not so I proceeded to call Toyota Motor Corp and write negative reviews. To this day they have not made good on their promise that they deliver what they oromise. In addition I purchased the car on Nov. 23RD and it is now Dec. 31 and I still do not have my cars registration! The car had coffee stains that I had to remove myself and the carfax and advertisement were contradictory. The business manager could not answer my questions regarding the diacrepencies in the amount of tax charged. In addition he added a county tax to the purchase price of the car. There is no county tax in FL or the state where I am registering the car. DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR HERE. GO TO EARL STEWART TOYOTA IN PALN BEACH!

My buying experience at Toyota of Stuart was a very pleasurable one. I spotted the car, 2006 convertible, as I was driving by and went home and looked it up on the website. I was very pleased with the mileage and details on the site and contacted them by email after hours. I not only got a response--I had an email conversation with the web person and made an appt for the next morning. I was greeted promptly and within minutes, our assigned salesperson, Elaine Johnson, met us at the car. She was professional, courteous and what I appreciated most--honest and low key. To make a long story short, we purchased the car that day after a very comfortable 'negotiation' and the Danny in the finance department helped us secure the necessary loan. The service department then took over and tweaked a few things for us per Elaine's instruction and my beautiful convertible was sitting in my driveway by mid afternoon. I would highly recommend this dealership and Elaine and Danny in particular.

I traded in my 2005 Scion XA for a 2014 Scion XD with an automatic transmission - my very first automatic in over 50 years of driving. The salesperson, John, was very helpful, explaining all the new options in this Scion. The financial process was a bit challenging but was completed to my satisfaction, and management was still smiling when I left with a new Scion - which looks very much like the 2005. This was my first experience with this dealership, and was a very good one. I can call John any time for help should I need it. My only suggestion would be for the person with whom the customer has an appointment (Amanda in my case) let the customer know when the appointment is made that another individual would be handling the sale/service (John, in my case). When I arrived he was there by a Scion and I brushed him aside because I had an appointment with Amanda who then "handed me over" to John. It was awkward for me because it reminded my of the old bait & switch. John said it wasn't a problem for him.

I had my CV joints replaced on my 153,000 mile Avalon. The work was done in the estimated less about 20 minutes. The work was completed and the car washed and vacuumed when I received it. I've had no problems with the repair. I have most of my maintenance done at this dealer. I do so because the particular service manager I use is outstanding and because I know they really know how to work on Toyotas. I'm leery of independents who work on many makes of cars. My last experience with an outside mechanic revealed the accuracy of my belief. My requirement is to have as near to 100% reliability as possible. The car only failed in this respect once, when the shift linkage for the automatic transmission let go leaving it stuck in reverse. This required a tow. So basically I know the car will always perform as expected for me. That's peace of mind. Dealing with a good dealer's maintenance department can be more expensive, but reliability is the result, for me. They find things before they become a problem. I also do my part in bring things to their attention as soon as I notice them. It takes both of these to keep a car reliable.

From the moment we walked through the door, we were greeted with a smile (Elaine has a big, beautiful smile that lights up her eyes as well!) and friendly, considerate hospitality. All went as expected in purchasing a new 2013 Toyota 4-Runner from John Green. John handled the transaction very well. The bad experience was with the handling of my 2005 4-Runner and the manner in which Mr. Steve Friend handled the trade-in value.Treasure Coast Service department changed the timing belt but the repair resulted in them destroying the engine. I asked that the $1400 repair charge be reimbursed or included in the trade-in value and Mr. Friend refused to do so. Not good since he did not even attempt to compromise by reducing the $1400. I went ahead and finalized the purchase of the 2013 4-Runner in any event since my choices of what to do were limited.

When we were looking to replace my wife's very tired and sad car we went to Treasure Coast Toyota on my father-in-law's recommendation. We were looking to buy a Toyota but after listening to what we were looking for and actually hearing what we were saying, Barry recommended a Scion, which we didn't think of. It turned out to be a very good purchase. We were surprisingly satisfied and impressed with the car to the point that we returned to Barry two month's later to buy another Scion for me. So we are now a Scion Xd family and we're very happy with our cars. My commute is 105 miles a day to and from work and I average between 38 and 42 Mpg. At times its been as highs as 52 Mpg. I use cruise control and don't speed. Previous to going to Treasure Coast Toyota we went to another another Toyota dealership, the one that has a feminine name even though its a male owner. If you live in the Treasure Coast you know who it is. We had a very uneasy experience with them. High pressure sales tactics to the point where they held on to our car keys, after they 'checked out our trade-in car' for value, until I asked for them back and it took me asking three times before I had them in hand. We'll never go back there and I warn everyone that I can about them. Avoid them like the plague. Too bad, they had good used cars at decent prices, but they really need to change their tactics. Last week was my second visit to Treasure Coast Toyota for scheduled service and maintenance and I cannot be happier with this dealership. George in the service department once again was very professional and courteous. George made recommendations regarding the replacement of a particular part and was absolutely professional when I declined to replace the part, which I could do myself at home. Everyone from Sales, Finance and Service have been very friendly, courteous and professional. In previous reviews there have been complaints about this place but our experiences have been wonderful and I highly recommend this place for purchases or service.

I brought my 1993 MR2 with 36k miles in for a timing belt / water pump service. Was quoted a fair price. After I picked it up, the next morning I had coolant on my garage floor. I immediately returned to the dealer. Service Manager was quickly involved. They took the car right in, assessed the problem, provided a loaner and car was repaired. Water pump gasket was leaking. Why am I so happy? Because things do happen. Its what the dealer does when things go wrong. And this dealers response was superb. They admitted their error, took care of it with no questions and apologized for the inconvienence. I could not be happier and will return here.

We went over the weekend to look and test drive two cars that we were interested in. The salesperson, not very knowledgable of the specs, went back and forth to answer some of these basic questions.. well we liked a car and a price that was given to us. But decided to shop around that day, went to PBeach but always with that car and price in mind we head back north and decided to purchase the vehicule. Well to our surprised, the price that was verbally given to us three times was incorrect! IT was actually 5k more! And they wouldn't honor the mistake.. but desided to decrease only four hundred dollars from the correct price... We saw other cars that we like but decided to skip all others because the price at Treasure Coast Toyata was better, so we were ready to buy this one. Long story short we lost the whole day, drove down south came back North to purchase and the dealer would not work with us! Stay away or have them write down the price if the car doesn't have a sticker on it! Would not recommend this unprofessional dealership!

I came into Treasurer Coast Toyota of Stuart to service my 2002 Camery as I have to the past 11 years, I was approached by Rene Ventura who asked if everything is okay and if I need any help. I explained to him why I was there and how happy I was with my Camary and the dealership. He asked me question regarding my car and if I would be interested in buying or leasing a new Camary. My husband and I, and our children have been buying Toyota's for about 20 years. We were blown away by the great service we received at Treasure Coast Toyota of Stuart. We were greeted by Robert Szladek out in the parking lot and he took us through the whole process of buying the car we wanted and explaining every step in detail right down to helping us empty our car. What a gentlemen! He is a wonderful asset to the dealership! He called in Arty Lagalante to help us come to an agreement on price and Arty bent over backwards to get our payment where we needed it to be. Our final meeting was with Danny Roberts to finalize the payments and again we were not disappointed. He also explained our options and went above and beyond what he was required to do. I cannot say enough about how friendly and helpful everyone was. We have always used the same dealership and to say the least they have very questionable practices. I will NEVER use another Toyota dealership again after the wonderful experience at Treasure Coast Toyota of Stuart. They have a new loyal customer!

I looked on line for a new Tacoma. Amanda called and emailed me, and did not over do it like other dealer ships that had called me 3 times in one day. We were greeted at the door by a nice gentlemen who's name escapes me (We think Bob, or Robert). He was very friendly and brought us water as we waited to meet Amanda. Amanda greeted us, and introduced us to Elaine to work with us on showing the vehicles. Elaine was awesome. Very down to earth, and there was no pressure to buy up from what we wanted. Everyone was really friendly at the dealer ship. They listened to what I wanted, showed me the vehicles they had, and did 2 test drives with me. Danny was very patient with us with working with an outside finance, and was able to beat the interest rate from the outside finance company. All in all, it was a pleasant interaction with this dealer ship, and I felt very comfortable buying the truck from them, as there was no pressure to do anything I didn't want to do. New owner and new staff were the only reason I tried them again, and it was like night and day from the last experince with them 18 months ago. Everyone was professional and the price was the same as I was quoted online - NO GAMES! By far the best purchase experince I've had since moving to Florida.

Started with a test drive. I was considering 3 different brands, but liked the Camry the best. My 2004 was extremely reliable and hopefully the 2013 will keep the tradition. Elaine was very low-key. No pressure but obviously interested in my being comfortable with my choice. Kept in touch but not pushy. Although the package I wanted was unavailable in the leftover 2013s I was able to have most of the items installed. After having a very bad experience previously with the former owners at this location I was very wary about working with this dealership but Elaine and David put me at ease.

I took my Prius in to be serviced and while I was there, decided to look at the new Prius as my car was getting on in years and I was having some issues with it. I found the color I wanted, the price I wanted and the options I wanted. I was treated with respect, courtesy, and friendliness. This is the second car I have purchased at this dealership, and I can't say enough nice things about them. The sale was done without waiting around for hours, there was no pressure, and the salesman worked to get me the deal I wanted. a great experience, and I will go there again for my next car. I would highly recommend this dealership.

Buying experience was great up until I went home and looked over the paperwork again. I should not trusted everything I signed. The numbers looked right on every single form I signed. Exception: There was one piece of paper missing, and that had the line item I didn't know was added without my knowledge. I questioned the total amount after I got home and did the maths. The numbers didn't add up. They really tried to make me satisfy and refunded this amount, but I wish this didn't happen. Everyone was nice and professional, so I hope this was just an isolated mistake. One more thing: the dealer fee is $650. It was listed as $549 when I received my internet quote. They acknowledged the difference but didn't care to make up for it. I might buy from here again but they must really be up front next time with the fees.

I have shopped for quite a few used cars over the years. On this occasion, I was looking for something for my 20 yr old daughter, to replace her old vehicle. I had a budget and a time crunch. There is risk in every venture we undertake in life. My wife and I bought a 2000 Tundra 4x4 at Stuart Toyota in 2002, a pre-owned vehicle. We did not pretend to be the best risk for Toyota, but the people at Stuart Toyota accepted their share of that risk and helped us get that Tundra. We were not certain that the Tundra we bought would be worth the price asked. We still drive that same Tundra today with confidence. After nearly 200,000 miles, two blizzards on the highway, four hurricanes and one tornado that dropped an oak tree on it, it still has never failed to bring us where we needed to go. It is the only vehicle we ever bought that lasted twice as long as the payments. In 1981 we bought a new Ford Pick Up that set itself on fire the same day we drove it home for the first time from the dealer in New Hampshire. Our new Dodges always needed new major parts long before the payments ran our. In our present, very uncertain, economy we have decided to take a chance on a new venture, which we hope will become a success for us. Again we did not pretend that we could see into the future, but again Stuart Toyota, had the very truck we needed, to do the work necessary to that venture, and trusted us again to make it work for both of us. The folks we dealt with at Stuart Toyota were very patient, did not waste our time with unnecessary delays, and at the same time never made us feel like we could not simply change our minds and walk out the door. I came to the dealership with the intention of my 30,000 mile service but knew I would be leasing a new car (undecided which model, brand, etc) so I was ready to sniff and kick tires.I got my car into service and was looking at Highlanders, Tundras,Venzas, and others when the service rep told me of some additional needs my car would require. I was looking at tires and even the 4 for 3 was a bit more thanI'd planned on.I then met sales VIP Frank Killian and told him of my new found expens issues and my interest in the 2013 Highlander. My current vehicle was a 2011 Highlander.Frank walked me through the new design issues, upgrades, etc. and I was leaning hard. But I wasn't there yet.Frank then engaged me in a personal conversation about family, similar interests etc. He became my friend.The rest was pretty easy. The numbers weren't quite right yet. I wanted a lower payment, and better payoff, all the usual "I want stuff" a guy goes through thinking he's really good at negotiating.Frank Killian came through with it all.OK. Too easy, right?Not at all. After walkling out that afternoon with my new vehicle I checked comps with other Toyota shops around the state.Treasure Coast Toyota had beaten the others by a few dollars but a ton of good sales practices.I am a very happy customer.

Not sure This was my same experience 10 years ago at this same dealership that lead to my purchase in 2003 of a Solara at a Palm Beach dealership. I wanted so much to make the purchase locally and support local business leaders and employees. Right after the Artie scene, we went to Fort Pierce and to WPB and shopped cars. This is my second Toyota Camry and Tommy met me with a great smile although we had not met before. We looked for the vehicle in the color I wanted (Barcelona Red) we discussed the extra service items available and then he turned me over to Scott Levitt, who explained all the options available as well as the financing. When it came time to make our purchase. Ms. Johnson never pressured us or hovered about. She simply provided us the necessary privacy needed to make our final decision, something we deeply appreciated. She asked us, "What price do we need to reach to make this deal happen?" Ms. Johnson took our offer to the sales manager and we were able to negotiate a wonderful price for our new car. We found a Highlander we were interested in on the dealer's website, and subsequently traded emails with Neville regarding its availability. My wife and I drove up on a Wednesday night to test drive the car, Neville was very helpful, courteous and answered all our questions. For purchase of new car: I was met by salesman Frank Killian & in all instances he was helpful, knowledgeable & co-operative. Although I changed my mind re the car I wanted several times, Frank remained committed to getting me the exact car I wanted and at a price that I understood and felt was fair. In all instances the salesman Frank, along with the Sales Manager & the Business Manager did their utmost to see that I received a fair deal. In fact, on the day that I was to take delivery of the vehicle the actual out the door price was even slightly less than I had been told. I have received follow up calls from both the dealership & the salesman (Frank Killian) to see that I am satisfied with the vehicle and to answer any questions that I might have. I could not be more pleased with the service, price & vehicle that I bought through Treasure Coast Toyota. Never did I feel that I was being pushed or confused with the deal that was offered and certainly as a woman shopping for a car alone, that is tremendously important. After purchasing many cars over the years, I can honestly say that I have never felt that I have been treated more fairly. There was none of the fluctuating numbers or pressure that I have experienced in past car deals. Inventory is great drove over 3 hours for Camry SE I wanted. traded 09 for an 11 on 2/9/13 my old 09 was finally paid for on 2/28 being that it was paid late finance company wanted an extra payment on the pay off. So because of this delay and over payment I was told that my 50 inch TV that I was promised was taken away and said the over payment had to come out of it. Mr. green was excellent with his phone customer service but as we arrived there he was to busy to help us and pushed another sales rep on us. Arty has tried to help on the TV deal but has said that he is only the sales manager and he is on the bottom of the to-tum poll. Mr.friend is the GM and I talked to him 1 time and he said he would get to the bottom of it, this was on 2/22 as of today 3/8 he has not contacted me back at all, and yes I have called him every day since 2/22 and he is to busy or not there.......RIGHT I'm writing this review today in hopes and prayers that the owner will see and try to contact me because I'm SURE the owner does not approve of this type of business.THE CATALAN FAMILY

Frank Kilian was a wonderful representative for Treasure Coast Toyota. He made shopping for a new car a very pleasant experience. He is very good at walking the line between looking after the best interest of the dealership as well as the customer. Frank was right there and available to resolve even the most difficult of issues. He never put you off and always gave the impression that you were his number one priority. Treasure Coast Toyota is very fortunate to have Frank as one of their sales representatives.Danny Roberts was also very good at arranging finance for our new car purchase. He resolved earlier issues created by the previous finance department employee who is no longer with Treasure Coast Toyota. On 1/6/13, I bought a 2012 Toyota Tacoma. After a week of going to different dealerships, I came to Treasure Coast Toyota - a little disheartened and disenchanted with this whole car buying process - much due to the lazy and inept car salesmen around this area. One car salesman at Wallace VW was offended that I wouldn't buy the only car that I test drove that day! Another one at Wallace Chevrolet, appeared disinterested and didn't really care that I was "settling" for something I didn't want to buy - he just wanted a sale at the end of the day! If only these salesman understood the impact they have on the sale! Anyways, I came to Treasure Coast Toyota and was greeted by Brian VanEpps - very nice, cordial, no high pressure, and wasn't just after a sale! I explained to him that I wanted a pickup with a manual clutch and low miles! They had just that - and I am sooooo pleased with my truck! In the past two weeks - I've had more people (total strangers) compliment me on this truck! It truly is "the best looking truck in any lot!" I had gone to another dealer in the area and was treated bad because of my credit I thought that I would just give up until I spoke to Jim he made the deal work in a payment I can afford he never made me feel less of a person because of my credit score. I guess that would be a good idea if I was going to purchase the vehicle; so off we went. Our experience at Toyota of Stuart was excellent from the time we arrived. We did not feel pressured at any time. We arrived at the dealership later in the evening and at no time were we rushed. Our Salesman Nelson knew what he was doing and made us feel as though it was more important for us to be happy with the purchase then for him to make the sale. Everyone we met at Toyota of Stuart was kind and accommodating. They didn't seem to mind staying late for us, when they could have said for us to come back in the morning, since we arrived so late. I asked for a back up camera and the front windows to be tinted and I was told "no Problem". They are being installed tomorrow.Thank you for a wonderful experience. I spoke with Andrew on the phone several times before going to the dealership. He was as helpful each time as he was the first time I called. When I went to the dealership, Andrew was very helpful and attentive. I picked the corolla and drove it with Andrews help with all the gadgets and differences from my old car. He was very helpful with trying to work with finance to get the payments down to as close as I wanted them to be. I worked with Anthony in signing the papers and my car had been washed and cleaned up while I was doing paper work. All in All, it was a most enjoyable dealing with Andrew.

I went to the dealer to just look at a vehicle, as I had been looking in the area for weeks, but the deal was so good and the Sales guy so helpful, I drove it home. They were patient and answered all my questions regarding the vehicle and the financing. The financing is an important issue that people often over look. Our overall experience with Treasure Coast Toyota was very positive. This is my second purchase with this dealership, and both times it was a great experience. I found the vehicle that fit my search criteria at Treasure Coast Toyota of Stuart thanks to cars.com.I scheduled a test drive and the sales person was promptly available upon my arrival.After a few simple questions about the hybrid vehicle, it became quickly apparent that the salesman lacked any real knowledge about the vehicle I was test driving, in fact I knew much more about the vehicle. In my opinion, it shows a lack of respect for the consumer when dealerships improperly train their sales people. I purchased the vehicle because I educated myself about the vehicle beforehand and it was exactly what I was looking for. Equally important, I completed the purchase because they gave me, after 2 hours of negotiations, exactly what Kelly Blue Book said my vehicle Trade-in value was. I understand everybody must make a profit, but is it necessary to start negotiations by offering the customer $5000 below trade-in value? I pity the uneducated consumer that walks into these dealerships to purchase a vehicle without proper knowledge and negotiation skills. It makes you want to just walk out when they low-ball you like that. Anyway, they wanted to make a deal and finally agreed to give me the true market value for my trade-in. Would I recommend this Dealership, not necessarily, but on the other hand I would not discourage anyone from purchasing from Treasure Coast Toyota of Stuart. It?s just that they (like most dealerships) don?t make me feel like they really care, it?s all about the money and customer service is just words.

John Green was the epitome of friendliness and worked very hard to please me. Overall, my experience was excellent, given that I finally got the car I wanted at the price I wanted to pay. An added bonus is the proximity of the dealership to my home, versus another dealer 30 miles away. However, I went in with a prior Black Book value range for my trade-in, and a prior determination of the price I wanted to pay for the very few options I wanted on the car. Given those caveats, I would recommend this dealership to others.

Was comparison shopping for a new minivan type vehicle. After driving the Toyota Sienna and reviewing the vehicles many features and overall rating I was totally sold on the Seinna. I ended up purchasing a new Seinna and am very happy. Everyone I came in contact with; salesman, sales maanager and loan processor were very professional and helpful.

I received a card in the mail stating that my car was in high demand, so I decided to go to Treasure Coast Toyota just to satify my curiosity. I was met at the door by Jose Matos, a super nice gentleman who made me feel at ease as soon as I walked in. I explained to Jose the reason for my visit, and he was very attentive to my needs. I told him exactly what I was looking for including color, engine size and features. what I appreciated most about Jose was that he didn't try to steer me away from what I was looking for. I've had experiences where the salesperson tried to tell me what they thought I needed, not what I want. At one point, Jose mentioned that he was very new to the dealership and had only been ther a couple of weeks, but I never would have known as he was extremely knowledgeable about the business. A 2012 Camry SE caught my eye immediately, as it was parked right next to me on the showroom floor. I told Jose right away that I would purchase that car if we could make it work. Not 5 minutes later did Jose have that car out of the showroom and into the parking lot for a test drive. After the test drive, whcih by the way was awesome, we stepped back in the showroom to figure out together how we could get me in that car. Jose crunched some numbers and introduced me to Jimmy Miller, the General Sales Manager, who was very cooperative with the negotiation. He gave me an offer for my 2008 Camry that I was extremely happy with. We then worked out a down payment and monthly payment that even my wife agrred to. I'm still not quite sure how we got her on board. The last piece of the puzzle was to sit down with Greg Morris, who handled the financing portion. Greg was extremely helpful and informative with all of the paperwork. I didn't feel overwhelmed by everything I was signing. He explained everything in detail, even offering to help my wife refinance her Toyota Solara that she purchased from another dealership.In conclusion, my experience was a home run! Treasure Coast Toyota has earned my business and I will tell everyone I know to check them out first before purchasing a car. Thanks again to Jose, Jim and Greg for my new 2012 Toyota Camry!

I actually drove by the Vero dealer and Port Saint Lucie dealer on US1 to go to the Stuart dealer, not because they were below par, but because I had purchased 2 prior vehicles with the Stuart Toyota dealer, with excellent service, follow-up, and follow-through for things as well as no hard pressure sales, and knowledgable sales staff. An example was service on a Mini-Cooper that I purchased there and had the service routinely done there. When found a problem unable to manage as it was a "Mini" issue, I was promptly called, the issue was deferred to a Mini dealer, Toyota bringing and returning the car to the Mini dealer. Peace of mind: Priceless!!

Here's the summary of what happened: -We walked in and none of the 5 salesmen who were sitting around drinking coffee even looked up to greet us -Sales manager walked by without saying hello -Salesman who finally took care of us took extreme offense when we weren't sure if we liked the first type of car he showed us -Salesman didn't even offer to show us the other vehicle we were interested in; he instead pressed on about the first one, and repeatedly asked why we didn't like it (please note we never actually said we didn't like the car, we just weren't sure it was the one for us.) -Salesman sat us down inside and asked "What brand of car but Toyota can you think of that you still see ten year old models out on the streets." Since I'm only 19 (which puts me at the age of 9 when those models came out) and just this week started looking to buy my own car, I replied "Well, I honestly can't answer that because I don't know the older models." He then turned to my father and fiance and said "Well, since you both actually look intelligent, what do you have to say?" Basically, if we choose to go with a Toyota we will NOT be buying it from Treasure Coast Toyota in Stuart.

I have purchased two vehicles from Treasure Coast Toyota of Stuart and both experiences have been very pleasant. The salesman that assisted me was knowledgeable and friendly. I looked at several vehicles before finally deciding on a Corolla S. My salesman was extremely patient and seemed genuinely concerned that I would be happy with my choice. When I returned to purchase a second vehicle, I was treated equally as well by both my salesman and the managers. All of the employees with whom I have come in to contact have been helpful. Since the purchase of the vehicles I have returned to the service department for routine maintenance and have been treated just as well. I will definitely return to this store to purchase my next vehicle and have referred my friends.

they advertise no dealer fee,they call it admin fee,I was wrong to sign blank cotracts,but feel they took advantage of disabled person,salesmen started sales process on car taking for test drive,in spite of me telling him what I was looking for,sale manager was a major problem,but sales asoc sat there like this was the first car he ever sold,first he's a expert,then mgr comes on scene,he don't know anything.they got over on me and i'm going to have to live with it,know now speaking with others that they can not be trusted,had been recommended to earl stewart,should have gone there,certinly should have left this dealer

I visited Treasure Coast Toyoto on Sunday, November 20, 2011 a fter receiving a DHL delivered promotional flyer that same day, which also expired on that day. Since I didn't bring the envelope, which contained the lucky number, I was deprived of any chance of winning a promotional gift. That did not deter the greeting salesman from wanting to introduce me to a 2012 Prius, if they could arrange the same term and payment as on the 2009 Prius I was then driving. To make a long story short, I was shown a new 2011 Prius (2012 Prius hatchbacks were not yet available) matching the specifications of my current car and invited to sign a contract therefor. Surprise! During the signing process, they discovered that the salesman had wrongly identified the car and the car I wanted was more costly, however, since it was their mistake, the company would eat part of the difference. After interacting with three "Sales Managers", it being late Sunday and the lights were being turned out, we took delivery in the dark of our new Prius. Arriving at home, I reviewed the contract I had signed and discovered that the lited price was $2,430 above the sticker price and the trade-in value was $4,840 below Kelly's Blue Book Value. The following day, after threatening a lawsuit I was offered a revised contract on a "take it or leave it" basis, which adjusted the price, but not the trade-in allowance. I have written a lengthy letter to Toyota headquarters for which I received a cursory phone call saying the matter was between me and the dealership; they could do nothing. Upon further follow up, however, I was assured that my letter would not fall on deaf ears, but would become part of their file when the dealership received it annual review.

After 3 days and about 7 hours of searching the internet and calling dealers, I finally got the answers I wanted and went to Treasure Coast Toyota. Not only did the have the 2009 Corlla I asked about but they must have had 14 others. But you got to go in this place to get the full effect. Free food and drink Free car wash whenever...not just after service but whenever. No dealer fee was a nice thing to. Go there and see it I will go back alot

You really have to go in this place to see all they have to offer. Big selection of used Corollas. Free food and beverages BEFORE I even bought anything and a car wash whenever. So often we go to buy a car "on line" or over the phone and we get there....no car Let me tell you I saw it here and called them and that sent me a pick from an I-phone showing me it was there. Then the have no dealer fee I asked to speak to the GM a nice guy named Dave Memon and after a long casual talk I told him car heaven is in Stuart Florida at Treasure Coast Toyota

I went in to test some new cars and was guided toward a used car, which I have no problem with--the salesperson was just doing their job. However, when the manager (or whoever their numbers person was) offered me up some figures, they gave me a number that was out of my price range. They asked me to come back tomorrow as they'd have another similar (but cheaper) car ready then. So I go home and look up the car--which appeared to be very nice--just to see if it could be finagled down to something I could afford. I was stunned (and outraged) to find that the "list" price they had quoted me was somewhere in the vicinity of $15,000-25,000 (not a typo; wasn't sure of exact optional equipment, hence the range) over the MSRP of a brand new (2011) model of the same car. It was nearly $10,000 over the maximum possible--i.e., fully loaded--MSRP. Their "discounted" number was ~$5,000 over the Edmunds suggested dealer retail price (and ~$10,000 over the trade-in value).Armed with this knowledge and a printout from the manufacturer's website, I decided to head back--maybe, MAYBE I had read it wrong. They went back over the same numbers and ANOTHER person (not sure if sales or a manager) who was described as "good with cars" went over the same numbers with me. When confronted, the manager(s?) took a good 5-10 minutes back at another desk before "explaining" that they had read the wrong number in their reports; that they had another car (same brand, different model) they had confused it with. (Surprise, surprise, after a quick internet search, that car also wasn't nearly worth the list price they had quoted me. The fact they knew I'd done my research but continued to try to pass off such an easily disproved lie speaks volumes of their ethos.) So when I caught them in a lie, they tried to lie their way out of it. I have been researching cars for myself and my family for years ('94, two in '96, '97, '02, '06, and '07) and have *never* seen such egregious and blatant dishonesty. Sadly, this tale wasn't quite finished.I went back inside--having walked out on the salesperson--to tell the manager it wasn't the salesperson's fault I was angry. I finally--after listening to their attempts at covering their butts--walked out again and had the manager follow me out and ask "How can [the salesperson] have done a good job if you're upset?" I just stood there, stunned that the manager would throw the salesperson under the bus to cover for their own lies. "If [salesperson] did such a good job, why are you taking their sale away?" At this point, the image of Ayn Rand describing the use of your sympathy/pity for someone as a tool against you popped into mind: This is evil. I put my hands up in a "I give up", shook my head, and turned and walked away in silent disgust.

I took my car in because of a recall. The service adviser was friendly and helpful. I assume the work was done satisfactorily. Other employees that I came in contact with were also pleasant. In my experience, this dealership has improved since it changed ownership.
