I have been a customer of Trend Motors for almost 30 years. My first VW was a Golf, which I leased from Trend and then purchased at the end of the lease. I kept that car -- and Trend helped keep it running - for about 14 years (225K miles). My next VW was a 2001 Golf TDI, and Trend helped keep that one running till 2012. My next and current VW is a Jetta TDI, and I'm really thrilled with it - Trend is keeping that one running fantastically. As you can see, I keep my VW's for a long time. With the great service Trend provides, I expect to keep my Jetta TDI a long time as well! Trend's employees take extra care to make sure customers understand everything their vehicle needs - in terms of service, maintenance, and repairs. Their thorough, complete inspection of every aspect of the vehicle - every time I bring your car in - is what's keeping my car safe, efficient, and running smoothly.My main contact has been Jason Meyer - and I have to say that every question I've asked - dumb or not - has received a clear, honest, respectful answer. I purchased a Jetta from Trend Motors and would not step foot in Trend again if they gave me a car for free.They not only could not fix an issue I was having with my doors, they acted like the issue didn't even exist. When I pushed the issue and continued to call, I spoke to a person who said his name was Mike who said HE was the BOSS of Trend. I soon found out that that this person I spoke with was NOT named MIKE, There was NO Mike that worked at Trend !! I later brought my vehicle to another VW dealership where I was not only treated " human ", they were able to fix the issue I was having in ONE visit. Like I stated I will NEVER step foot in Trend Motors again.

My son had a set amount of money he was given to purchase a used car. We had been to several dealers and none could help us til we got to Trend Motors. We saw a car on TrueCar and went in to look at it and it was a perfect fit for my son. Trend Motors VW is an Outstanding dealership. My wife and I had the pleasure of working with Dean Houston as our sales representative and from the first email Dean was exemplary. My wife is new to VW and had some major concerns about seating due to her small size and back issues and Dean was more than accommodating. After visiting several other VW dealerships, we came in to test drive the car to get a feel for the seats with no pressure from Dean. He made sure my wife was comfortable and took her time in making this decision. Test drive on a Friday and Monday afternoon we were signing papers and picking up the car. The entire team at Trend Motors was extremely helpful and accommodating throughout the process. Our future car searches will start and end at Trend!

What a horrible experience we at TREND Motors, we picked out, test drove it, went through the whole finance process and getting insurance on the vehicle. Than at some point the discovered they had made a mixup with pricing which we were told by the sales man and by the loan officer that "we had nothing to worry it was there mistake and we would still get the vehicle for the same price not a penny more" so we felt that the deal was being honored, than the GM of sales came in and sat down and proceeded to say " I am sorry but you two are our of luck we are not selling you the vehicle" I strongly feel that we paid with our time, credit inquiries and disrespectful treatment from the GM. I am very disappointed in TREND Motors as I went there on family recommendation, that they had honesty and integrity but instead we recived dishonest and a staff with no integrit. Buyer Beware

I dealt with trend motors represented by Luke Pagilone. I did early inquiries via e mail. I was treated well even when switching option packages for comparative pricing. I purchased a 2015 Jetta Diesel SE for about what another dealer quoted as his best possible price for a lesser equipped S model. I arrived at Trend for the closing expecting bait ans switch tactics or an attempt to pad my purchase with high pressure tactics. None happened, a pleasant surprise. All post sales promises were kept. The mix of personalities that I dealt with left me with a positive experience. I do not hesitate to reccomend Luke at Trend motors.

We were in the early stages of looking for a car for my daughter. VW was not high on the list but we stopped at Trend anyway and was immediately greeted by Luke Paglione . We talked like we were friend for years - no high pressure, not trying to push something they needed to move - actually listening to what I was looking for. I had already been to another dealer and had something for comparison and a budget. Luke was able to recommend a Jetta & a Passat - both would have similar options (if not more) and the lease payments were within $15 of our first choice. After the test drive, we left to continue our search....and we were back signing papers in less than an hour. We are thrilled with our '15 Passat. I cannot speak highly enough about our experience at Trend. John in service, Tihera in customer service, Anthony in finance - everyone was just fantastic, truly happy to help and make sure the process was smooth. Trend does business the way you would expect and I look forward to my next visit.

i had my doubts about returning to trend, but John in service, Scott as the GM and Glen who has been selling VW for 32 years now, have restored my faith in the dealership. You know that moment in finance, where you're about to sign and things change for the worst, well Anthony in finance Scott and Glen saved the best for last. My mother was looking for a new dealership several years ago, and remembered a friend who had a terrific experience at Trend Motors, with Glenn Hagen. She has since been a recurring customer and very happy with her experiences with Trend and Glenn, specifically. My father also leased a Passat through Glenn. My wife and I purchased a new 2012 GLI and a certified pre-owned 2011 Touareg. We dealt with Glenn Hagen both times and have nothing but good things to say. He is very professional, courteous and very honest & direct. The rest of the staff is also very friendly and helpful. All in all, the experience was enjoyable and I would recommend Glenn and Trend to anybody and everybody.

I came in looking for a particular vehicle that they had on Cars.com (2010 Dodge Charger R/T) and I was greeted with a lovely smile by Alicia (saleswoman) and Rick (manager). After the test drive, I immediately fell in love with the ride and the power. Rick advised me of all that he had done to it to make it as attractive to a buyer as possible. His honesty was greatly appreciated and in turn turned a would be car shopper into a buyer and all that was left was to crunch some numbers. As a sales manager myself, I have met many financial managers and all of them shadow in comparison to the professionalism that Mr. Simon displayed to me. The bank associate had his figures wrong and Mr. Simon told him so and how he had the right figure and made the Car very affordable for me. I came in later to sign some more paperwork and take my car home. When I left, I knew I had received the best deal possible, peace of mind, and exactly what I wanted. Thank you Trend Motors! We were ready to purchase a Beetle convertible at a local dealer just for convenience and the fact that we had just purchased our other car at a sister dealer (another brand). We went through True Car and found 3 other dealers that could possible help us. While all promptly got in touch with me, i was especially impressed with Brian at Trend. He was pleasant and not pushy at all. He knew the product extremely well and knew what was out there. He informed me that their price had no hidden incentives involved that we would not qualify for such as military, returning customer, etc. I explained what we wanted and the color we really wanted. He was upfront that the car was not in stock but could be found with no penalty to the cost of the car.We chatted and told him we were ready to purchase and he promptly put in writing through an email, a price that knocked my socks off! It was a little difficult to make it to the dealership during the week since my wife works in the city so we took a ride on a Saturday and made an appointment to see a car with the interior color we wanted. Not only was Brian waiting for us, the car was there as promised and we did not have to wait. Knowing it was a Saturday afternoon, we expected to wait but Brian was right there and ready to help. We made the exact same deal that he quoted in the email. We were not sold on "extras" and the deal was written in record time and we were on our way home.Brian kept us informed as the car had to be found and brought in. It was ready on the day promised and the delivery of the car was just as smooth as the initial purchase. The price was incredible. They truly wanted our business and although most dealers will say that, Brian and Trend made a great deal from the beginning and not at the very end. There was no haggling to get there. It was honestly the smoothest and easiest deal i have ever made. From this point forward, we not not even think about going to another dealership when its time to get another one. Do yourself a favor and talk to Brian about whatever car you are interested in. Even if you feel its not that close to where you live, take a ride and it will be worth it. Thanks again for the great price and service and a great car!

I was originally dealing with another service rep and when I went to pick up my car, he wasn't there. John Lindstrom, Svce. Mgr. stepped in and finished writing up the paperwork. I wound up having to bring the car back again the next day for another service and John made sure I had another car to use while mine was being worked on. When I returned several hours later, my car was washed inside and out. He seemed to take pride in pleasing the customer and it is for this reason I would recommend Trend Motors.

I bought a 07 Saab 95 (dealerrater does not offer that choice) off the internet sight unseen from Anthony. I would normally never do anything like this...most of my friends are still surprised. But they had the year, milage and color I wanted. The body did not perfectly match the CarFax or description, but Anthony was never less than honest with me. From what I could see I was probably buying the cheepest car on their lot. Regardless:1. when I flew in they had a ride WAITING at the airport.2. the car was completely detailed and waiting for me.3. I had authorized a couple of minor repairs to make the car safer to drive to back to Michigan. They were done and fairly priced. (actually lower than Anthony had quoted)4. I was in and on my way in about a 1/2 hour. Mechanically, it was a perfect trip home. Ultimately, the repairs they deemed necessary proved to be overstated.In short. They lived up to reviews I had read, the car was better than they said, the deal was fair and I am very satisfied.Would I buy like this again? Yes, if I was dealling with Trend. They won my trust.

I utilized the express service for an oil change and it was as express as advertised. Megan brought out my air filters and showed them to me. I had been meaning to replace them anyways so that got me to do it. The waiting lounge is great and my car was in and out really fast.

My experience at Trend was very positive. I came in for my complementary 10k service. Megan Chuddley was a wonderful service rep, she was very friendly, knowledgeable and outgoing. The only reason I gave the overall experience 4 stars was because I felt like I was there for a long time waiting for my car to go in. Apparently the car before mine took longer than expected. I know these things can't be helped, but it did feel like a very long time to wait. Other than that the experience was pleasant, the waiting room is comfortable and my car came back looking and feeling great and had been thoroughly looked over.

I purchased my car from Dean Huston and my service Advisor is Ray O'Brien, both of these guys are at the top of their game. Trend VW is a great dealership. Each time I had my car in for service, Ray consistantly takes care of my VW in a timely manner, keeps me informed about cost and always follows up. The service is also done correctly the first time. We had our 2012 Jetta in for it's 30,000 mile service. John Lindstrom, the service advisor, was very helpful and friendly. They took care of the service and a minor problem with one of the door hinges. The service was prompt, as we waited for the car, and they had fresh coffee and bagels in the waiting area. We will definitely purchase from Trend Motors again in the future, and we have recommended them to friends and family. Great Dealership !

Ordered parts from trend motors through the VW site, Big mistake. First when I ordered the parts I was told I would be contacted if the price was more for shipping and second I said one week for delivery. after 2 weeks I called and was told to call back. I sent a couple emails and no response. Finally I was emailed they where missing a part and could ship the rest if I wanted. A week later I had to call and ask where my stuff was again. I was told it was in boxes wait to be shipped. 2 days later if finally got shipped. I received my invoice and the shipping was more then originally quoted without a call or email saying it would be higher. So much for keeping my money local. Next time I'll use amazon, spend less and receive my order faster.

Our 2012 Passat is the second VW we have leased from Trend and the service continues to be superior. They have always been accommodating to schedule service appoints to meet my schedule, professional and a pleasure to work with. On my recent service appointment, Megan was every informative of what was to be taken care of, kept me informed while I waited and surprised me with the completion of the work in a shorter time then I expected. Before I left, Megan covered every detail of the work performed. The no-cost service maintenance on the 2012 Passat is a very nice bonus, as well. I can tell you that I have no question of being back at Trend for the next VW when my current lease is over!

Brian was courteous and friendly from the moment I called to inquire about the car, to when he handed me the keys after finishing all the paper work. At no point during the inquiry/sales process did I feel pressured to buy or rushed to make a decision. Every visit to Trend is great! I took my New /Beetle in for a 60,000 mile service and brake replacement. Jason, my service advisor explained what each procedure entailed thoroughly and clearly. He kept me updated as the service was being done. The waiting area at Trend is comfortable and up to date. Coffee and snacks are available. The staff is friendly and approachable. I feel more like a valued friend than I do a customer! For service as well as purchasing a new car, Trend Motors is the place to go!! They're the best!!

All of the staff of Trend Motors exhibited courtesy and kindness far superior to any "customer service" that I have experienced.I was new to this dealership, and needed an air conditioning (warranty) repair, several days after my husband passed away.The Volkswagen Jetta that needed repair, actually was my husband's car, and I had intended to sell it, and continue driving my equally new Rav4. After experiencing the kind and respectful service at Trend Motors, I have decided to keep the Jetta and sell the Rav4..Up until now, I had liked the cars equally well, but because of the service experience the Jetta is clearly the winner!Whatever customer service training program you subscribe to should be made mandatory for other companies!Thank you for this experience!

Purchase 7 to 8 cars here, will never go back. The service department performace is so poor before you even get into have your car worked on. They will call you and tell you that your car is in need of service, you go down there (about 20 miles for me) and they tell you that your car doesn't need service......they just always seem confused. I like VW's but will never go back there, I kept thinking they would get better, but they didn't, always the same.

Upon entering Trend Motors Volkswagen on 06-15-13, my husband and I were immediately greeted by a friendly receptionist. We then met with Michael Ladenheim, a very professional and friendly sales consultant. We advised him that we were interested in purchasing the 2013 VW Jetta Sedan S (platinum gray metallic). After our test drive, we were ready to move forward with the negotiations. Mike immediately went to work for us. He ran the numbers to compare the pricing between TrueCar vs. the Costco Auto Program. The results shocked us...in a very good way. With Mike's help, we ended up saving over $3600 off MSRP with the Costco Auto Program! Talk about an awesome deal! I took my VW Jetta in for the 80,000 mile check up at Trend Motors in Rockaway, NJ. After getting ripped off for over $700.00, I noticed that my front bumper was pulled off the front of the car about an inch. I'm fairly confident that when I brought the car in for service, it wasn't like that. However the next day when I brought it back, the service manager ensured me that it was like that when I dropped it off but since I had already left the dealership with the loaner so he didn't bother to notify me.The thing is, he did have time to notify me 2 times to try to squeeze 'extra' service from me throughout the day.While I find their service staff is 'friendly' and 'nice', they are untrustworthy.From now on, I'm planning on using a VW mechanic not associated with this or any other dealership.

I bought a left over 2011 Volkswagen GTI in 2012. So far I have had nothing but problems. The drivers side window leaks and the ECU is giving me a whole bunch of error codes. It has been a nightmare experience working with this dealership or should I say "stealership". I have to make repeat visits for the same problem which never gets fixed after waiting hours in the service lobby. Don't get me wrong they try to be nice but that is about all your going to get out of Trend motors .

Was interested in a used Beetle and had an appointment to inspect the car. Had to travel 4 hours from my residence along with my family. Had even authorized a $500 hold on the car so that no other seller can pick it up. Inspite all this, i was in for a rude shock when the sales person called when i was half way through my 4 hour journey to inform me that the car was sold to someone else by his manager the previous day! The dealership is absolutely irresponsible and unprofessional!

Next they claim you would get the $500 back if you don't buy the car or if you do it will be used as a down payment. This is just a hoax to keep a hold on you, don't ever expect that money back if you don't want to buy.

I brought my Audi to Trend for service. $110 to tell me the water pump blew up. They over-charged for the part. Ripped me off badly for the labor ($660). They also dented my front passenger side quarter panel. I was stupid and didn't check the car when I picked it up. My recommendation is go else where for service. If you do go here, take pics of your car first and CHECK it before driving off the lot. Explains why NO ONE wanted to talk to me when I picked it up, they were hoping I would do exactly what I did... If they showed me anything I might have noticed the 1 foot dent...I will not, NOT do business with this place again! $1000 dollars to replace a water pump...

Michael Ladenheim was just great. We spoke about a specific car that I knew was in stock, so we scheduled a test drive immediately. I drove almost 45-50 minutes away to Trend Motors and saw my black GTI already waiting for me in the front. Once paged by the receptionist, Michael was quick to introduce himself and take the steps to do the test drive. He was very friendly and comfortable to converse with. After the test drive, we sat in his office and started talking numbers. He quickly realized the amount of research and shopping I had previously made and basically cut to the chase. I gave my desired price and he took some notes and stepped away to confirm with his managers. Within a matter of minutes, he was back and offered a price that was essentially what I was looking for. Once I received that final price from Michael, I stepped away to crunch some numbers and do some more last-minute price-shopping. I realized that I had a great price with Trend Motors and they had the exact car I wanted right in front of me. I stopped what I was doing, and returned to shake hands on the deal Michael and I agreed to. The process was quick and hassle-free. The finance manager was also very professional and I was offered a slightly better rate from VW Credit than my own financing, so I took it. I am extremely happy with Trend Motors. The whole thing happened so quickly that the only thing we had to wait for was the car to be detailed. I drove off in my GTI with a huge smile on my face and I would like to thank the Trend Motors team for that.

July 12, 2012: I brought in my 2007 EOS in for 60,000 service and also have them fix one of the mechanical flaps that take down the top. Mind you, I've had this issue with the flap since I bought the car in Sept 2009 and the sales guy said "that's just one of those quirks the EOS has". So, for 3 years I have manually had to "help" this flap along in order to take down the top. Anyway, was no big deal. When I brought my car for the 60k service I reminded them of the issue. There was new management and all new service people there since my last visit, which made me a little uncomfortable. Mike put a service order through; however, a loaner car wasn't available. They had to drive me to work in a "shuttle". Ali, the driver, was very nice and got me to work on time. The car was done by noon, couldn't duplicate the "flap" problem and they informed me my rear brake pads and rotors needed to be changed. I didn't get the brakes done there because they wanted way too much money. I asked them to please send the shuttle to pick me up from work at 5pm. The shuttle was 35 minutes late picking me up because when I called at 5:10, they forgot to send the shuttle. Not acceptable! The next day I brought my car to a local mechanic, who I trust; he only changed the brake pads because the rotors were absolutely fine.I received a feedback survey from Trend and gave them a negative feedback because I was so disappointed with Mike, who took my service order (no personality), and with the shuttle picking me up from work. The next morning, I received an email from John, the service manager apologizing about my disappointing service at Trend and he would follow up with a phone call within the next couple of days. No phone call received. The following day, I received an email from Tom, the general manager, apologizing for my disappointing service at Trend and asked if my follow-up call was satisfactory. I emailed him back I never received a follow-up call.Over the week, I found a big oil stain on my garage floor. Friday, July 20th, I showed up at Trend at 7am to recheck my car for the oil leak and to check the tires because I hear a sound at 25mph. Again, no loaner car available, therefore, had to get shuttled to work again! They found the oil filter was defective thats why it leaked; the sound could not be duplicated (of course). The oil leak was fixed and my car was ready by noon. However, I needed a shuttle to pick me up at 5 again. I reminded them at 4:15pm to send the shuttle so he would get here on time at 5pm. 5:15 no shuttle. I called and spoke to Chris in service; he said the driver left 45 minutes ago! The driver called me to say he was near my work but was a little lost (following the gps!) 5:45pm: my co-worker offered to drive me to Trend to pick up my car. I called the driver and Trend and told them to cancel the shuttle. Once I stepped into Trend, John was there to greet me. I told him how disappointed I was with the lack of organization regarding the shuttle service, and how he never followed up with me for the negative feedback. I also told him if he didnt change the way he ran his business, he will be losing a lot more customers. He was very frazzled and couldnt find my service order nor my car keys. That put me over the edge! I said in a very calm voice before losing it please give me my keys so I can get out of this dealership for the very last time! My fellow VW owners, the management, service and sales people have changed so many times in that dealership that I wish they would just shut it down. I now have my car at Paul Miller Bernardsville (and have a loaner car) and hopefully they will fix all the problems with my EOS.

do not buy from this dealership!! I have sold cars in the past and this is the type of dealership that is the reason most people hate buying cars. I traveled over 2 hours with a check from my bank and they refused to take it, I told them to run my credit for one bank and they sent me to 4 different banks and hurt my credit score!!! Eventually they took my check and sold me a horrible warranty that doesnt cover anything and they refused to return my calls or refund me my money for a warranty that was for the wrong motor in my car!! STAY AWAY, FAR AWAY

I had a very strong brand preference towards Volkwagen before my encounters with this dealership, however; that has been tarnished by my terrible experience at the new trend motors. After I handed them my deposit, they stopped doing their job. I was unable to drive the new car that I had purchased, had already started making monthly payments on, and at I was making insurance payments on, for over 2 weeks because of their lack of organization and sheer disconcern for me as a customer. Dragon, the salesman, and Dana the office worker, took no responsibility for the mistakes that were made on their end. It was an overwhelmingly disappointing experience because of the poor business manner at this dealership. I conveniently did not receive the survey that all Volkswagen customers are supposed to get after making a purchase. I strongly discourage anyone in the market to purchase an automobile from working with this dealership.

When I arrived for a test drive at Trend Motors VW, the salesman- Mr.Bizotti informed me that the car(used) was sold. I complained to the eCommerce manager -John De Vita, he informed me that Mr Bizotti is a very good and professional TM team member and he was going to offer me a similar car. After five days the eCommerce manager contacted me, saying they have ended their relationship with Mr. Bizotti. In the end they failed to make a good offer with a similar car. Instead of being rewarded for my loyalty to Trend Motors(in 2008 I purchased a VW Rabbit!), I have the feeling that I was cast aside in a dismissive way. They appear to be practicing bad business tactics (the general sales manager, Scott Saccamona never picked my phone) even tough PR people(eCommerce) were pleasant.If you are going to purchase a VW , go to Paul Miller VW, Linden VW, Douglas VW. They have a good selection and they treat the costumers with respect and without any complications.I found the same car, better condition, better mileage, similar price at Linden VW!

Very disappointed in the lack of customer service I've received from Trend Motors.... I made a "good faith refundable deposit" on a car I was considering and after finding something else, I've been getting the run around trying to get my deposit refunded for two weeks. My paperwork has been "misplaced" twice, and now apparently I am waiting for their backed up billing department to process the refund. Funny how it only took about 30 seconds to process the deposit, but it takes over two weeks to get it refunded. Buyer beware. My salesman was great, but this fiasco after the fact sure is not......

Was pleasantly surprised after visiting Trend Motors. They made used car shopping so much less stressful with listening to what I wanted, and giving me options that actually matched me needs. They were very customer friendly from greet through purchase, and even after purchase when I had some follow up questions. It is clear they were working for repeat business (customer loyalty) and not just a single car sale. I will always start with Trend in the future. A refreshing way to do business around pre-owned vehicles. Walked out with a good deal, a great car, and a warrantee to boot. Was well worth the hour drive it took me to get there.

Was dealing with another dealer, for several weeks. And as I always do, before I pull the trigger on a deal, I check with another dealer to see if the ballpark is the same. I would never be disloyal: if the second dealer's price was a few bucks cheaper, I would give the first dealer the benefit of the doubt, and try to buy from him. That's not what happened here. With no fanfare, no haggling, Trend VW's lease price was almost $80 less PER MONTH. That's almost $3,000 over the term of the lease. (residual, purchase price, downpayment were all the same). Dealer one also apparently lied to me about our credit standing. I highly recommend Scott and Dave and Trend VW. They are no BS, and they get the deal done. So far, I am very happy. I will keep everyone posted.

Trend Motors Volkswagen in Rockaway is a GREAT dealership. I purchased my Jetta through David Matushin and he made the process as easy as possible. I was looking for a car with my family and Dave was very patient and took his time to explain each car. We test drove 2 cars and ended up purchasing the Jetta 2.5 SE. I am very happy with my car and LOVE it! I have to say, EVERYONE at the dealership was so nice and friendly. They made my purchase of my first car a really nice and easy experience. Purchased a new 2010 Jetta. Dave Matushin, sales associate, was great to deal with. The finance manager Greg, and the General Manager Al both need training on customer service. I purchased an overpriced extended warranty. When I went back and spoke with Al, he offered to reduce the price by $150 and told me that was "cost". I found out the real cost was actually $600 less than the $1850 he quoted. I canceled the extended warranty and am still waiting for the $2100 refund, 6 weeks after cancelation (refund is supposed to made in 3 to 4 weeks). You can get a great price, if you shop around (Milleniun VW or Newton VW)for the car and warranty. The price I paid for the car was good, but only because I shopped around and brought in a competitors price. Greg the finance manager, doesnt know anything about the warranties he is selling, so don't ask him any questions. The "new" Trend Motors, SAME OLD TRICKS.

I don't usually take time to write reviews, however I was so impressed with the service department at Trend Motors that I feel compelled to write this review.I first contacted trend Motors service department and spoke to Ramsey regarding an issue with my daughter's Passat.He was extremely helpful and was able to schedule an appointment right away.That day I brought the car to Trend and met the Service Manager, Egon who I can't say enough about. He was very courteous, professional and made me feel extremely comfortable and we no how sometimes that is almost impossible at a car dealership, but not here. Egon kept in touch with me , letting me know what the problem was and when it would be ready and kept his word.When I arrived to pick the car up, Egon had the completed paperwork ready and made the process extremely smooth.I would highly recommend Trend Motors!Thanks again Egon and Ramsey.

He was straight forward and direct, but never pushy nor aggressive, and gave a great price on the 2010 Jetta sedan we were thinking of buying. lease a VW jetta with VW Trend Motors. They sales people were really good at getting me into my first Jetta lease but when I came in for service it was a three ring circus. The female at the service desk was always very rude. Every time I wanted an oil change I had to make an appointment 2 to 3 weeks in advance. If I needed a maintenance service they would have to keep my car for days. They didnt have a loaner so I had to rent or depend on other people for the time I didnt have a car. I found it to be very difficult to go to Trend for any servicing. My lease is coming to an end and I want to lease another Jetta hopefully it would be as stressful.

My car was there for a catalytic converter - for which I had to wait 8 weeks for the part - not Trend Motors fault but during the eight weeks my car was there several times. <br>The first time it was there I was told every day the part would be in where it was common knowledge among the other VW dealers and service providers I talked to that it was a minimum of two weeks before the part would be in; After I demanded my car back (I had nothing else to drive) I had a headlight go out the very next morning. <br>The second time my car came home from Trend Motors my glove box was broken. The third time my car came home from Trend Motors my middle console was broken. Also, I mysteriously, had an incorrect blinker bulb show up in my car that melted the fuse. <br>On the day my part came in, I had to take my car to Trend Motors because it had died and I couldn't drive it anymore. I went to Trend, dropped off my car, spoke to the service people and specifically asked if the part was in - they said it wasn't so I spent $60 to rent a car. Later they call me to tell me that the part was delivered on the Saturday before hand. <br>I called and spoke to the manager requesting to be reimbursed for the cost of renting a car. He said that his service men did nothing wrong and he wouldn't reimburse me the $60 for the rental car I didn't need to have and I really couldn't afford because I spend so much for the car in the first place. <br>In less than a year I have had the following replace - mass air flow sensor, ignition coil, catalytic converter, - now the car is dead again for a possible alternator problem. So now I am without a car yet again and getting to work to pay for the car on the good graces of people passing by. <br>So if you should happen to see a hitchiker in a business suit and an 'I hate VW' bumper sticker on my back - it's me - please pick me up so I can pay to keep my Jetta in the shop. <br>Thank you. <br>
