This dealership promised me a car that was nothing like I was presented with. I've had to have two rental cars and take my new car back for services. The staff was super slow!!!! They were not well informed and did not take my wants into consideration. I had to compromise on things that were promised to me. However, I did work with a great salesperson: Bryant Tate. He was excellent but had to go out of town which left me with someone who had NO idea what I wanted or needed in a car!!! I would definitely recommend Mr. Tate over anyone else!!! He made sure I was happy with my purchase and has kept his word about everything!!!!

I have traded via Internet on several occasions but my recent car trade at Vann York Chevrolet has been the best experience I have had so far. I searched several dealerships and I had several offers and I was at the point of keeping my vehicle because either the price was wrong or the options were not available. I was fortunate to get an email from Ken Jackson wanting to discuss how they could make a deal. I called and spoke with Ken and basically told him what I was looking for and the options I wanted and my budget. He followed through with everything I had requested. I worked with Jack Hardin and completed the trade deal and I was extremely pleased with the helpfulness and courtesy I experienced at the dealership. Everything went smoothly and seamlessly throughout the whole process. I could not have been pleased more and I highly recommend Vann York Chevrolet to anyone wanting to purchase a vehicle. Unbelievable crookedness! I must emphasis that the salesman Jack Hardin had nothing to do with this. The managers of this store are total crooks! Here is what they did: 1. Change the mileage to void the warranty: Vann York presented 3 different values on three documents generated on the same day! This is a felony under Federal laws:(A) The sale contract states: 95829 miles, 488 miles below actual.(B) The warranty states: 95289 miles, 1028 miles below as if I have drove the car 1028 miles even before leaving their lot!(C) The State Inspection report done by Vann York states: 96317 (actual). 2. Denied and breached the Warranty Contract: The managers stole and removed my warranty paper from my sale contract, violating federal law 16 CFR 455. When I faced them with the fact, they denied the warranty and refused to honor it. I got a copy of the warranty from their Human Resources after ~ one month! Still they did not honor it. One of the "smart" managers tried to convince me that oil leak from the engine is not an engine problem and thus not covered by the warranty!4. Misrepresented the vehicle's components/features and accessories 5. Failed to disclosed know problem with the vehicle such as engine oil leak and an invisible torn seatThe above facts are well documented for anyone who may need it. Just contact me.

Van York gave me a good car when I leased it. That's the only thing they were able to do for me. I would never go back there. The salesman that I met with, Dave, is a pathological liar so avoid him at all costs! Van York will give you a good car, they will take care of it but they do tend to beat around the bush with being entirely honest in the contract. As I said above, the salesman Dave is one you should never work with. as he does lie and I was able to call him out on this with facts while I was making my lease. While going to Van York, just be aware.

This dealership called and emailed me incessantly for 2-3 days until I finally allowed them to do a hard inquiry on my credit, which I'd asked them to avoid and they had told me they could avoid when I first started talking with them about a used car. They know I'm 3 weeks away from giving birth and needed to trade in my small car for an SUV. Then they had the nerve to ask my husband over the phone if he could sign onto the credit app with me to lower the rate after I'd specifically told them I was trying to surprise him with the car purchase and not to involve him. I emailed them the day after my credit was checked and never got any response. Luckily for me, I got in touch with a much better dealership in the meantime, and started the process on another vehicle, which in less than 48 hours I had sitting in my driveway, from initial contact to driving the car home. I still haven't heard a word out of this dealership since the day they checked my credit and took it upon themselves to go behind my back and ask my husband about it. Needless to say, my experience with them was overall highly annoying and invasive. Not to mention a waste of a credit check. I would never deal with them again in the future.

Both Deanna Blankenship and Kenneth Hawkins (sales) extremely professional, efficient and responsive. I had visited other Cadillac dealers but found Van York to be a welcome surprise in comparison. Their pricing was very competitive for both the Cadillac we wanted and our trade-in and Kenneth was very accommodating to our time when we visited. We were able to review and agree on the specifics of our car, pricing and he was able to find a car in the area that met all we desired in less than an hour. When we came in to pick up the car, complete the paperwork and were given a review of all the workings of the vehicle, it all took less than 2 hours, much of that time devoted to ensuring he answered any questions on its operation.

They actually were going to delay me a day for picking up my vechile because the finance guy left early. The price was the same I could have gotten at any other dealership. I see why they hounded me to visit. Nobody should go out of thier way to visit this place.

My husband and I were interested in the Chevy Equinox, we met with Mr. French and his sales mananger. These two men were absolutley horrible! They both talked to us like we were children and I believe they were trying to bully us into buying this car. The Equinox is a wonderful car and we were very interested, but when they opened their mouths, they sealed the deal with me! There was no way I was buying a car from these hateful men. They both kept pointing to another client in the showroom telling us that if we didn't want the car that the other client did! Also, Mr. French asked my 6yr old son what grade he was in 3 times! He asked him if he was in kinny garden or first grade! Come on...pay attention when the child answers your questions! We were also approved for a 0% interest rate at another dealership and they told us the best they could get us was 6.25% there! I really felt like I was being pressured and told my husband I was ready to leave. The car that we were buying was for me and it was my decision and I told them I wanted to go home and think about it. They kept threatening to sell the car to the other client, but in the same breath...wanted me to take the car home and drive it! In the end we left and bought our car from Todd McKenzie at Vann York Nissan (High Point Nissan), he was the best!I will never do business with that dealership and I don't recommend them to anyone!
