Albany Ave.Pueblo, CO 81003Dear Mr. Sanchez, This past Saturday, June 18, we were stranded with car troubles in Trinidad Colorado. We finally managed to get our 2005 Honda Odyssey Van towed to Pueblo on Sunday. We were at your doorstep first thing Monday morning and met your Service gal, Brenda who was super nice. I explained our troubles with the Van and how it might be the transmission or a cooling problem. We were more than happy to pay the $95.00 diagnostic fee. That morning, you and your people were in constant contact with me as you knew we were stranded in Pueblo Colorado, and had to get all the way back to Oklahoma City. But because we would be driving over Raton Pass and all the way to I-40 in Texas through dessert and somewhat deserted highways I felt that you Mr. Sanchez went above and beyond the call of normal service. You correctly filled up the transmission fluid, gave me the safety tips necessary to watch out for, but only AFTER You had driven our vehicle in two episodes for almost 2 hours in an attempt to trick the van to repeat the incident on Saturday. Even though we both felt it was simply that someone had over filled the transmission fluid, and after driving through the Colorado passes and highways as hard as we had the past five days knowing that it most likely heated up and simply pushed out the excess fluid. But still you took it upon yourself to make sure that our vehicle was safe to drive another 500 miles home to Oklahoma City. With that peace of mind we took off midafternoon Monday and arrived safely about 2am Tuesday morning. Since then the van has been driving just fine. Mr. Sanchez, not every dealership has quality staff such as I encountered at Vidmar Motors. You are to be commended, and on behalf of me and my boys we want to THANK YOU and your team for providing extraordinary service and standards to help us get back on the road. I had some history with this dealership and their service department, having owned two Hondas. I was impressed with the friendly, helpful professionalism of everyone from management, sales, and service. When I was in the market for a new Honda, I didn't even bother looking elsewhere--this is where I was buying my car. I wasn't in any way disappointed. The entire experience was smooth and seamless. From all my past car buying experience, I have come to hold the experience to be one of misinformation, secrecy, lack of transparency and aggressive tactics. At Vidmar Honda in Pueblo, Colorado, the process was completely different, no pressure and what I feel was honest and forthright information. I recommend that you at least give them an opportunity when looking to buy a car. I think you will be happy with the experience.

The 2014 Honda Ridgeline we purchased from Vidmar in December 2014 lost a patch of paint off its front bumper. We stopped in and spoke to Bob Sanchez. He concurred that it was a defect in the paint job and arranged for us to leave the vehicle for your outside body shop to fix. Since we live in Lamar and the vehicle would have to be in for work at least 2 days we whined that we would need some type of transportation. Patiently Bob listened and said he would arrange for us to get a vehicle. The plan was to bring the Ridgeline in early Monday, February 1. As you know, dire reports of weather came on the horizon for the time period. On Saturday I was thinking we would have to delay the appointment. My husband called the dealership who got in touch with Bob via his cell phone. Bob managed to get the loaner vehicle available on Saturday (if we could get there by noon). We arrived, he took us to Enterprise for the vehicle and we were off. On Wednesday afternoon the service department called to say the Ridgeline would be ready by 3:30. I arrived at the dealership, dropped off the loaner and got our Ridgeline back in pristine condition with the inside also cleaned.Seldom if ever have we received such excellent service. Bob did a tremendous job for us and we thank you for stellar service and help we have received from Vidmar. Weve purchased 3 vehicles through you and it seems certain we will be returning.

We purchased the Honda CR-V and drove it home where the driveway is 1/2 mile long, mostly up hill and glare ice and snow, Our new Honda walked right up. Overall, it was an excellent experience. Matt Koen our salesperson did an excellent job during the whole buying process. He went above and beyond in making me relaxed and felt good about the purchase. He was very patient at all times. After the purchase, he did some follow up calls and e-mails asking if I need some help or any concerns about the car. I really like somebody who cares about his/her customer, even after the purchase is over. I already recommended him to friends, family and associates. Having been trying to downsize, we decided to go from 2 vehicles to 1. Vidmar just happened to have the one vehicle we were looking for so we stopped in to talk. Mr. Billy Day was not the traditional car sales man we had been expecting. Not having bought a car in 15 years we were surprised how much the process had changed. No more hard sell but one which the Mr. Day carefully explained the features cars come with today (navigation, entertainment, adaptive cruise control, collision avoidance systems, etc.). I felt I was in an Apple store buying a new Mac. We were impressed with the car and agreed to a price. We then asked about our trades and they made a offer we could start with. Eventually we agreed on the value of the trades with no hassle and everyone being satisfied. An excellent experience all the around.

I went into Vidmar Honda to get a oil change and discovered I had a going bald rear tire, After authorizing a new tire and oil change I wandered through the lot and was approached by a sales person. I explained to him why I was there and just looking around waiting. To make a long story short I purchased a 2015 Honda civ and traded in my 2013 Honda Civ. Yes I got a good deal, for a oil change!

While vacationing in Colorado my check engine light came on. Thinking I had my oil changed before leaving my state and knowing that I would soon be a long way away from any Honda dealership I became very concerned. I took it into their service department. A gentleman, (I didn't catch his name) took a quick look at my oil level and the other fluid levels. He assured me that all was well and where I had had the car (2013 CRV) serviced had not reset the maintenance button. He was very kind, even offered us bottled waters before putting us back on the road. PLUS...he didn't charge me even though I offered to pay! I wish I lived closer so I could do more business with this company. THANK YOU!!!

I purchased a CPO 2011 Honda Odyssey for asking price from Vidmar. Unfortunately they loaned the car to the owner / managers daughter for an extend road trip prior to us receiving the vehicle. The interior was absolutely horrendous. My wife and I spent an entire afternoon vacuuming up dog hair, and scrubbing nearly every interior surface. There were extensive spills and stains in the carpet, and in most storage / beverage-holder areas. You would think that buying a "CPO" vehicle would mean that at least the interior was vacuumed...not so much. Completely disappointed. Love the Odyssey. Loath Vidmar Honda.

I went to Vidmar Honda to purchase my car since my lease was running out. Ed, the salesman I worked with, was excellent. However, Kristi Biggers in the Finance department was a nightmare to work with. Not only was she incredibly rude, she lied to me about my credit score and would not let me see my own credit report. She told me my credit score was 100 points lower than it actually was. I'm sure that was so they could try to say my credit wasn't that good when I actually have above average credit and charge me a higher interest rate. Run, don't walk from this place. Rude staff and sketchy practices.I ended up getting a great deal from Front Range Honda in Colorado Springs, without any hassle - a deal Vidmar stated I could NEVER possibly get from anyone. If you are looking for a Honda, make the extra trek up to Front Range Honda in Colorado Springs.

I visited Vidmar Honda on 9/12/14 for a routine service on my car. The service performed on my car was performed to my liking. Staff was very friendly, but be warned that if you take your car to this service center, someone may go through your personal belongings. When I confronted my service advisor, Monica Yates, she said let me go get a Tech. The Tech, Shea McAndrews, that came to talk to me about my personal items to include center console, as well as papers placed next to my driver seat, where all gone through and totally rearranged. Shea and Monica could not provide a good reason as to why this had taken place. However they did give me a free oil change, like that makes me want to go back there. They advised me I could come back Monday and talk to the Service Manager Bob Sanchez. I decided I would email Bob and the General Manager Derek Vidmar but after a week later 09/21/14, I have yet to receive a reply from either one of them. Obviously this speaks volumes as to what type of dealership this is. I would not advise anyone to get their car serviced at this dealership. It's bad that one person can ruin a dealership, but actually it's more than one since the Service Manager or General Manager do not care to respond to a dissatisfied customers email.

I was looking for a 2014 Accord Touring Hybrid in a particular color. None of the dealers local to me had one or could get one. Upon doing an online car search it turned out that Vidmar was the closest dealer that had EXACTLY what I wanted, yet they are 1,400 miles away from where I live! After communicating via phone and email with Mike Baer for a couple of days, my wife and I decided to fly to Pueblo and have a nice road trip home. We were late for our appointment on a Saturday afternoon after running into trouble with a rental car office in Denver and then experiencing heavy traffic on the drive to Pueblo. But Larry Miles was waiting patiently for us and helped make the whole transaction smooth as silk. No pressure, no gimmicks or questionable tactics. He showed me that the accessories I ordered had been installed, and we went for a test drive so that he knew the car was what I really wanted. When it came time to write the check, there was no pressure to buy anything additional. Kristi Biggers did offer an extended warranty, but I declined and she respected my decision and moved on. What a refreshing difference from other dealers that find it hard to take no for an answer! Larry then had Andy Kaufmann go over all the advanced features on my new car (and there are a bunch.) To summarize, my experience at Vidmar was one of the most positive and pleasant car buying experiences I've ever had. Friendly and helpful staff made all the difference. My only regret is that since I live so far away I won't be able to go to them for service. :-(

I bought a new Honda CRV in June 2013 and I can't say enough good things about the experience both in Sales and service. The staff will do anything to help. It is unfortunate that some responders feel called upon to trash the efforts of a really good establishment to earn the approval of the public.

My family and I have purchased over ten cars from Derek Vidmar and his fantastic employees. The service department always takes care of us and even offered to take my wife to the movies while we waited to get a vehicle serviced. I love the bottled water and the delightful staff. I would highly recommend them to everyone shopping for a new or used vehicle. Two thumbs way up!

We needed the number code for the car radio after replacing the battery in our 2004 CRV. The woman in so called customer service in the parts department at Vidmar where I called, told us they would need to pull the radio which would cost us $45.00 to get to. So I called Front Range Honda in Colorado Springs, no problem. She walked us through the process and got it for us. I do not know if I will ever again deal with Vidmar Motors after this. I think that was pure lazy on the part of the worker at Vidmar and it just took a couple of minutes for the other clerk.to get it for us at Front Range where I will go in the future.

I live out of state but will ONLY buy my Honda's from Vidmar because they've earned my business over the years. They always give me a fair deal, they always are honest and upfront with me, and above all they make buying a car a very easy experience, especially since I'm out of town. I've sent my local friends there also and Derek will give his honest feedback, even if he might not make the sale, because that's they type of businessman he is.....out for the best of the customer and their happiness. I only wish I could service my car there because I know the incredible experience would continue!

I recently purchased my SECOND Honda Fit from Vidmar Motor Company. (And sixth vehicle overall). The paid price was EXACTLY what we had agreed upon, and the finace department was able to secure a better interest rate than I had expected, so I saved money in the long run. I LOVE my Honda Fit and will continue to service it at Vidmar as well.

They were as invested as we were in spending our money wisely on a good investment for a car we're looking to have last the next 10 years. I done business with this dealership since 2003 , having my Honda serviced there and I've noticed a drop in quality of work and a sense of dishonesty amoung employees.When the Father ran the business its was a first class dealership.Top notch,worthy of the Honda brand.But here in the last 2 or 3 years,Derek the son has taken over and quite honestly is running this dearlership into the ground.The quality of people that being hired seem to be Southwest Motors rejects who could'nt find work anywhere else.The Service Dept was always pristine,and now there is very poor leadership within the service dept,the mehcanics are not paying attention to details which is what suppose to separate Honda dealerships from the rest.I braggeg for years what a great derlership idmar was all over this state only to be totally wrong when it became my turn to buy a car there.Nothing but a 3 weeks nightmare.Just Beware.Really sad to see this dealership died a slow death if management doesn't get back in the game .

I will NEVER take my car back to have ANY kind of repairs done to it. I called a week in advance and told the service department that I needed a new (replacement not a diagnostic) lock actuator in my passenger car door. When I brought my car in the lady said, "Oh does it need to be diagnosed or replaced." I told her, I already did all of the research to know what the problem was and it needed to be replaced. Well my appointment was at 11:00a.m. I took my car in around 10:40a.m. they didn't call me back until almost 3:00p.m. and told me how much the actuator was to be replaced and also told me that I needed a hepa filter which was around $75 (I am not stupid and I know I can replace that myself for under $20.00 and it really is a 5 minute job) and also a transmission service done. I asked if they did the actuator yet and she said NO, they just did the oil change and tire rotation in all of those hours because they wanted to make sure it was okay to replace it. I don't know why I need to tell them at least ten times to do it! Well, I told them to go ahead and replace the hepa filter and do the transmission service to my vehicle and they didn't get the okay from me to do so, so they didn't (which I am glad they didn't because I am going to take my car somewhere else to get that done and put in the hepa filter in myself. Vidmar Honda is the most unorganized business I have EVER dealt with! I will tell EVERYONE I know not to go there if they need to go to a Honda service department it is worth the trip up to Colorado Springs or even to Denver (Do not go to the Pueblo one at all- waste of time and money)!

Drove from Denver to Pueble because salesman Mike Romero claimed that the 04 Aviator they just acquired was "nice". The car was not nice, not clean, nor was in good shape. Mr. Romero was very misleading regarding the condition of the vehicle and supposedly had another interested buyer who was going to buy the car the next day, obviously employing a deceptive tactic to create buyer's urgency. I do not recommend doing business with this person at this dealership.

They sold my grandaughter a P.O.S. After 3 or 4 visits to the dealership trying to get the car fixed.And Derrick knows that he lied and went back on his word.He knows exactly what I am talking about and no need to go any futher.

I scheduled an appointment for a rear fan resistor to be installed. I.drove three hours to get to the appointment and when I got there they didn't have me in the computer. Furthermore after having the car for an hour they told me I would need a resistor that they would have to order for next week. I called freedom Honda in co spgs and was able to get it done for half the price

Vidmar Motors is near the downtown part of Pueblo, CO, a bit far from the rest of the dealerships in the area. I'm from Boulder County, and went there because they had the vehicle I was looking for. I got a good deal on the car I wanted. And now that I know how they like to work, I'd work with them again, though they may not be for everyone. It seems Vidmar advertises prices a bit below average to get you in the door, then you find out about dealer fees and other special deals not included. At least on the cars I looked at, their online advertised price was a bit below average. When I got there, I found out about a significant dealer fee of some sort that was added to the final price beyond their advertised price. There are a couple small notices that say that, and they tell you as soon as they know you are interested in the car at all, but that just means the negotiation becomes complicated. I dont expect Vidmar will ever go for the "no haggle price" approach. Be careful about the paperwork, especially warranties and having them back their promises. If there is a warranty, be sure to get the details in writing before you leave. If you ask for any special terms, be sure to get a copy of the document immediately. In the shuffle of the final paperwork, it will disappear. The salesman I worked with was very good. He was friendly but not high pressure. He was willing to let me take the car for a few hours to have it looked at, and fixed a small issue without problem. In fact, he arranged for a paid repair to be done at my location, and it all went without hastle. I will work with him again if I return for my next purchase. Overall, the experience was good, and I'd consider working with them again if they have the vehicle I want. Their prices were a bit lower than others', but again they add a special fee so it ends up near average. In the end, price and quality are important when buying a used car. You can get a good car at a good price from Vidmar, if you are willing to do your homework first, and if you are comfortable with the process.

This dealership is dishonest. They should be avoided. They will quote you a price over the phone and refuse to honor it once you show up at the dealership in person. Beware!
