I’m really big into putting my money towards a company/business that I feel deserves it. Two months ago, I was looking to upgrade to a newer car and trade my current one in. I had Rob help me out immediately. I told him I always a wanted a civic and specifically a black one. They had a couple in stock that were used. He narrowed it down to one that had barely any miles on it with an amazing price tag. He made the trade in process very easy and helped me get the car immediately. They also gave me an AMAZING price for my old car. Finance wise, I dealt with Chris who is fantastic. He helped me set up a loan with a bank to finance the car and walked me through the whole process so I could understand. They both worked with my budget and even came to my work to get paperwork signed so I wouldn’t have to make a trip to the dealership. Two months later and I’m still loving my Honda Civic EX L. I honestly feel comfortable with this dealership and the customer service that both of them provided. I will easily be buying my next car from this dealership down the road. Thanks for making me feel like a valued customer!

No 'sales pressure' was applied as I examined the vehicle and I was permitted to take it for a drive. Worst dealership I have dealt with in my 50 yrs if life. Very rude people in service dept. Take forever to fix covered issues because parts never in stock. Never let you know when they come in. Do not honor parts if defective. Gave them 3 chances. Will never use them again.

I purchased a used Honda Civic back on Memorial Day, 2016. I was referred to West Broad Honda and decided to put a online application in to see what they had to offer. I was called back in a timely manner by one of their sales associates and got the process started. I went into the dealership the next week and purchased a used 2013 Honda Civic. I received very good customer service and my time at the dealership was short. I was in and out in 3 hours.I am very satisfied with my purchase and I love my upgraded Honda Civic! If you like Honda's then I would recommend this dealership to take care of all your needs. I called and spoke to Olivia Heathcock, told her I was looking for a car because my car had been totaled. I told her what I was looking for and within days she called for me to come in and look at a car, which I purchased! This is my second time working with her, and both times was a great experience. This is my third car from West Broad Honda. Conrad Irons was the finance person with the last two and he was also great and got me a great deal. He went over all paperwork in detail. I would refer anyone I know that was looking for a car to contact either of them!

I scheduled an appointment to fix a defective seat belt on a Honda Odyssey. Was told life time warranty and would take 1 hour. When I showed up they service guys told me it would be a $114 diagnostic charge. That is not what I was told prior. OKAY. Then he asked for my number to call when it was read. I told him I would wait. I was told it would take 30min/1 hour. Talked to one of his other counter parts and they said it would take a HALF DAY. None of this was told when scheduled. THEY ARE LIARS. I have know problems if that is the process or fee but tell me when scheduled. I made NO! plans to leave my car. The guys were absolute xxxxxxxx. I will never recommend to anyone!!

We purchased a new 2016 Honda Odyssey at West Broad Honda. Buying experience was very good. Had spoken with salesman via email and telephone prior to coming in and test driving vehicle. Vehicle was out front waiting on us and salesman was ready to go over features and get it on the road. Sat down discussed price, which there wasn't much of a discussion because we had already had the online price quote which was well below any other competitor. The only draw back was it did take a little extra time to get the financing finished due to the fact that it was Friday night, the end of the month and 4 or 5 others purchasing also. This was not a huge deal just worth mentioning.

I came in for an oil change and tire rotation arriving at the dealership at 7:30 a.m. Even at that time there were at least 20 cars in front of me. However, the clerks moved the line at an amazing pace and 10 minutes later I was in the lounge waiting for my husband to pick me up. I had another appointment and chose to come back later in the day. Matt who helped me in the morning called me at 11:00 a.m. to let me know that my car was ready but I could pick it up anything before 6. When I came in at 2:00 p.m. the pick up process took all of 5 minutes. Loved the service and how friendly everyone was.

They told me they had extensive powertrain guarantee .this is untrue I feel like my car was not inspected properly every time I turn around there something wrong with the vehicle .the first three months of my purchase the car begin to have engine problems .I'm still paying on this vehicle . West Broad Honda lacks integrity in customer service .My email :chavades13atGmail.com Also I talked to the Head sales manager he was rude and nasty. Then I took steps to talk to everybody over there . The general manager never returned my call . by the way my car is supposed to be certified pre-owned vehicle .the best money can buy .they're not telling the truth about the pre certified vehicles I feel like my car was never inspected.

My family has purchased 5 cars from Page Auto Group since 1999. Most recently a Pilot for my mother from West Broad. We went back bc our family needed a van and the certified one we wanted was listed as the worst deal out of 23 deals in a 75 miles area around the 23228 zip code. They confessed that they paid too much for it but wanted to hold onto it for a while to see of they could sell it for at least what they paid. Now I completely understand that. But then again we have been loyal customers for almost 2 decades! The way I saw it, they should take a loss on the poor investment so they could keep the business of our family. They wouldn't budge into the normal price range let alone a good deal.We said ok, lets see what other vans you had. They brought us another one very similar NON CERTIFIED vehicle they said had just come in. We got in for a test and noticed it was pretty filthy. Trim that looked to be easily reattached was hanging off dirt was in every crevice it seemed. When you opened the doors and back hatch there was dirt all in the parts you don't see unless opened. It was so crazy even a PENCIL was stuck in the steering column. We got back and said it ran well but it was pretty dirty and we assumed that so since it had "just" come in to the dealer it hadn't been detailed yet. The goof looked right 1st me and said nope it is ready to sell and of there are concerns he would forward that to the manager in charge of that department. They literraly tried to sell me a dirty piece of crap. To make things worse the price range that made this a normal reasonable deal included the vehicle still being in good condition. This can was far from that. It was such an insult we drove to Williamsburg Honda who immediately treated is like we were family and loyal customers of almost 2 decades. It was clear they wanted our business and gave us a GREAT deal. NOT a reasonable or good deal but a great one. In fact it was even a certified Honda.5 cars from Page Auto since 1999. 3 of which were brand new. Now it's all in the past. I have left out several VERY insulting comments that were made by both the sales rep and the sales manager who was horrid and even raised his voice when we said we may write Mr Page bc of what was said by his sales rep. It was an atrocious experience and I will no longer be visiting Page Auto Group while those employees are there.The Sales Rep was named Tim.

This visit was just routine service for the most part - state inspection, oil change, tire rotation - but prompted by a small oil leak. The leak was due to a loose drain plug, so easily fixed. Upon inspection, it was determined that the tires did not need rotation so they did not do that. The remaining service was at no charge since the car was bought here. However, all the folks in the service area were great and very helpful. It's why we keep returning for new cars and service. And when we bought the car here (our fifth from West Broad) a year ago, the process was expeditious and no hassle.

I bought my first Honda (Accord--V6) in 2007. When it was time for a new car, I returned to WBH for a second Accord. I did not need to look at another car or dealership. The salesperson, Saul, was helpful in detailing the features and in preparing the car for delivery. Discussions about protections packages and financing options were helpful and pressure-free. I now have two Honda Accords (V6)--they are like twins, delivered 9 years apart.(I also have my 2007 car serviced at WBH. It still looks and runs as if it is new. Why go elsewhere?KM

Even though we were from out of town, and this would not be buying a car here, we were treated great. We took an Odyssey out for a test drive with a salesman and he made sure we definitely "tested" it out, explained everything thoroughly and was generally just a nice guy. My Honda Civic was making a vibrating noise and they were able to find that it was a simple adjustment and took care of it. They also did an overall check of my 2012 Honda and reported that all was in good working order. They also washed my car and vacuumed it for me, so it looked great when I picked it up.

Went because I had a nail in my tire. Unfortunately, they could not find the nail as it obviously had popped out. The service technician took lots of time and care making sure that the nail was gone and making sure that the air pressure in my tires was correct. Great job! The service writer, Yvonne, was also wonderful. Both employees had excellent customer service skills.

I've been looking to get a new car for several months and have been in to look and drive different Honda models multiple times. My salesman Saul was awesome!! He is accommodating and always looking to make sure the customer has exactly what they want and need. He's up front and honest about the pros and cons (although there aren't many) of each vehicle depending on what you're looking for and he definitely knows what he is doing, the features of each model and the differences in each package. The staff doesn't make you feel pressured, is super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend West Broad Honda and Saul Kazdul for anyone's next vehicle purchase!

I took my 86 Honda Accord to the service department to replace the passenger airbag due to the recent mammoth recall (I had the driver's side replaced in July, but due to the massive numbers involved, the dealership had to wait for passenger airbags). I had an appointment at noon. My car was ready and waiting to go by 12:20 - new airbag and all! Unbelievable!

We brought our Accord Hybrid in for its first service appointment after buying the car here a little over a year ago (car only has ~5000 miles on it.) Even though we were past the one-year mark, they didn't charge us for anything. They changed the oil and filter, rotated the tires, did a multipoint inspection, and even did the state inspection, all for free. They finished everything in just a couple of hours, and the staff were super-friendly and efficient.

I took my 2007 Accord into West Broad Honda for an airbag recall. My service advisor, Megan Simpson was very proffesional and a people person. My recall only took about 20 minuets for them to complete which was amazing since i had to go pick up my children from school. i went to West Broad Honda as a result of previous good treatment with company vehicle in service department. That was my first trip to this dealership as the issue was Honda warranty related. I thought i would try to purchase personal vehicle here. Bad decisions, the salesman could not have been more helpful but when sales management became involved that is another story. I had made 2 special trips to make sure options I wanted were installed prior to my arrival to pick up vehicle and was told at last minute this was against company policy so i would have to make return trip to dealer for installation after purchase. I considered this an inconvenience as this would have been special 120 mile round trip for me or my wife. So we purchased higher grade Honda at dealership closer to our home the following day. We received courteous and great treatment there. I will not return to West Broad Honda.

If I could give less than 1 star, I would. I was a first time customer and spoke with a very rude salesperson, John Snyder. I first asked about the 2016 Pilots. His response was that they will only get about 1 or 2 in stock when they release on June 18 and they will be full sticker price and he doesn't think we should buy those. Then I called him back and told him we have decided on getting the 2015 Pilot but we would like one in pearl blue with navigation and fog lights. He again said he does not have that in stock and only has a few 2015 pilots left even though their website says they have many. He also said they would not be willing to contact other dealers to see if they can find what I am looking for so they can get it from the other dealer so I can buy it from them. So basically, he was a bad salesman and was not willing to put some effort into the sale at all.

Bought a 2015 Pilot and the negotiated price with them was the lowest in Virginia. Sales person was not very friendly but I had to deal with him because I asked for a quote on the internet and he answered. Seemed like he didn't care if I bought the vehicle or not. A few others that I spoke to at the dealership when I was there seemed very friendly. A month later, I was looking to install running boards. They wanted $500 to install where another local dealer quoted $190. I then asked them how much they would charge to install the rivnut only since Honda neglected to thread one opening on each side. The dealer said that it would cost me $140 each side which would be $280 to install two rivnuts which take approximately 2 minutes to install if you have the proper tool which cost $70. The other dealers I checked with said they would have to charge me one hour labor which is slightly less than $100. West Broad Honda must be making a killing in their service department. Service advisors seem Ok.

This review is based on one incident: a $60 oil change that didn't actually happen. Briefly, I bought a 2013 CR-V from West Broad Honda, Richmond, VA two years ago. I've had them change the oil twice. The second time, 11/21/14, they claimed to have changed the oil and filter, but after driving the car home, I noticed an oil leak and while checking the oil level I noticed that the oil was as dirty as when I delivered the car to them. The leak was coming from the top or open end of the filter, which also hadn't been changed, as indicated by the film of dirt that covered it. The buying experience wasn't as bad, but what value is the buying experience when you can't trust their follow-on service? My material loss may have been much larger had I not seen the leak.

My husband new car got a flat tire.and we took to west broad honda dealer.to put the new tire..i was allready change to the spare wheel.and my car was not any single scratch when i take to them..after that we went to pick up my car next day.and finally we got big scratch with my allow wheel..it was not piece of metal ....we was so worried about that ..and we did not argive with them...so finally we decide to not go to this place...they don't have any responsibility about customers cars....i'm strongly recommend not to go this place with your valuable car.

I purchased my 2009 honda accord in 2012. Loved the car, had no issues. This past may i was driving my car and it started to shake and bunch of lights came on indicating something serious was wrong. Good thing i was very close to the dealership. I took it too the dealership right away and come to find out i had No oil in my car. I was very mad. In between me getting oil changes my car would apparently leak or consume too much oil. I was told to bring my car in every 1000 miles so that they could check it to figure out the issue. After about 2 months, they did not find an issue, and i was told to come back every 5,00 miles. So about 2 months later i randomly check the oil in my car and it was VERY low. So once again the same issue is occurring again. I take my car to the dealership and speak with a manager and she said that she has no record of my bringing my car in for the oil consumption test every 1000 miles, so i received a free oil change that day. That did not fix the problem, rather cover it up. So i was told to bring my car in once it reaches 1000 miles again so that they can record it and test it again. So come to find out, i have a oil leak which is not covered under my extended warranty. They told me that i have to pay $100 deductible. I am outraged!!!!! The overall service was great with Honda, but they love to cover up issues. I was told that i need to pay the deductible today so i have not received an update, but as far as im concerned, they arent getting a dime of my money.

I got an internet quote from West Broad as I was shopping for a new Honda. After a couple of exchanges, I had asked for the Out The Door Price. When I e-mailed back to say it still to high and asked about whether they charged both a destination fee and freight charge. Here is verbatim the response I received "All of our quotes include freight,you are not being charged twice....if this is more than you are willing to pay you do not need a break down,what do you think is a fair price for the car"It's to up to you but as consumer I make it rule never to do business with anyone who can't explain what I am paying for and tells me what I do and do not need, particularly when it comes to a break down of the price they are offering. I ended up getting a much better deal at a much better place anyway.

I dont understand the negative reviews that have been afforded to this dealership, at least on the sales side of the house. I have closed two car deals with Tim Cartwright and both times he has been extremely knowledgeable, ethical and a joy to work with. Both times, credit was not an issue. I knew what car I wanted, what I wanted to pay (both times lower than West Broad Honda had in mind) and Tim was able to justify to his management where I was coming from (I presented research) and close the deal very quickly. Finance managers easy to work with and make an effort to beat even Hondas financing to save you money. The entire process was sub-2 hours and I was on the road. The service side of the house needs work, but I feel that they are making improvements.

I purchased my Lexus from them and was given the free inspection for life. I hated bringing it there because of past experience there. But my garage close to home was too busy. I waited over an hour and when Scott came in he told me the front right wheel bearing was bad and the inspection had failed. (While I was waiting I noticed him talking to others and always saying there was something wrong that needed fixing which might be the case but not one time did he say everything is ok) He proceeded to tell me that since it was a lexus it needed to be sent out somewhere and was telling me the cost when I said" no problem my husband will do it" He then got very weird acting and said that the car couldn't be driven and he was sending something to the state police. I am from NY and have never had this happen. I went and ordered the part and had to return the next day to auto zone to get it. While there the men asked me a bunch of questions which I responded no. They said that the ball joint was fine. I bought it anyway. When my husband had the time later that week to fix it he said there was nothing wrong with the old one. He put the new one in anyway and is sending the old one to the manufacturer to confirm it is ok. I later took the car back and it passed the inspection. While again waiting Scott proceeded to tell a woman she had major issues that needed addressing. This place is ripping customers off daily and I am disgusted that people are being abused like this. I noticed everyone of them is a woman also.

My experience with Tim Cartwright at West Broad Honda was awesome. I should start by saying that if a dealer offers an e-price I have every expectation that they are willing to do business electronically and expect them to be competitive when it comes time to negotiate. Also, I dont expect them to be shocked when I say I am coming from several hours away and that I've been aggressively price shopping or that I cant just walk-in now to take a test drive. That being said, unlike many internet sales specialists and managers with whom I dealt (and there were a lot), Tim did everything right. When I provided him with the best offer I had received on a 2013 Honda Crosstour he promptly came back and let me know if he could meet or beat that offer and what he had in stock. Knowing that I was from out of town, he didnt try to convince me that free oil changes or other dealership perks made it a better deal (I had a dealer from NJ argue that lifetime oil changes made their offer a better deal even though I live in Virginia huh?). The most important thing, however, was that he was gracious and straightforward throughout the entire process. He read my emails and understood what I was looking for, he put things in writing, he did not badmouth other dealerships or the deals they were offering, and did not pressure me by calling constantly or sending email after email after email. I highly recommend Tim and West Broad Honda - if you live in the Hampton Roads area, it is worth the very short trip Richmond. Tim provided a painless internet shopping experience AND integrity, you just cant beat that...

If you are in the market for a new vehicle, I would not recommend this location! I was searching for a minivan to convert to a wheelchair accessible vehicle for my daughter. We went through the entire process of test driving, negotiating, and financing. After a credit check, I was told that I qualified for 1.9% APR. With the price agreed upon and the rate set, I asked them to put it in writing and let me sleep on it. They did put it in writing, but did not honor the agreement the very next day when I returned to purchase the vehicle. I like most people, value my time, and prefer to do business with honest people. I have since, taken my business elsewhere.

I had a problem in my brake. This dealer changed front brake pad that was absolutely not needed and charged me $185.00 + taxes.The actual problem was with master drum cylinder of brake and later they told me about this. And charges for this is around $375.00+taxes. I didn't go for master brake drum change because this dealer was just cheating. I took my car and visited local Mechanics. I STRONGLY SUGGEST NOT TO VISIT THIS DEALER.

I thought my sales guy, Bob, was OK. He seemed to be interested in finding me a car that was a good match for what I needed. Unfortunately, when price negotiations began, Sean offered me a price and then when I accepted it, Diego stepped in and said they would not honor it. It was a very bad experience and a complete waste of my time. There are too many places to buy a car to bother spending time with those yahoos.

I dropped my Honda Civic off for an oil change and to check my lighter plug on the consol... I was called and told it needed an alignment, I said OK. When I picked up the car the oil change was done, the lighter plug was fixed, a fuse that cost me $59.99 and $4.79 for th fuse.....they had changed the transimssion fluid and the cabin air filter without telling me. I have sent a email to theservice manage about this but have had no response.Go elsewhere for service........

John was great to work with from day one!! My husband and I started looking for the perfect family vehicle a while ago but we weren't set on anything until we saw the new 2012 CR-V. I was set on buying one because it was everything that we needed in a vehicle, from the size to the fuel efficiency. When I finally decided on the exterior color that I wanted it wasn't hard to find, but it was hard to find the exterior color with the right interior color that I wanted. We looked around online at several Honda dealerships for the exact car that I wanted. I finally found one at West Broad Honda in Richmond and I was not going to let it go. I emailed for a quick quote online and John emailed back within an hour. He was so pleasant to work with. I absolutely loved that he was direct and to the point with his sales quote. My husband and I were very impressed that he didn't beat around the bush about anything. Just in a few conversations online and a couple phone calls later with John he was able to tell us what our interest rate would be, what the payments would be, and what the bottom line total was going to be on the CR-V. His customer service was exceptional!! He had never even met us in person at this point but that didn't stop him from working so hard to supply us with the exact vehicle we wanted. We were truly impressed!! The transaction was so easy and when we made the seventy mile trip to Richmond to pick up the CR-V we were not let down in the slightest. Everyone at the dealership was so nice and My husband and I agreed that we would definitely buy from West Broad Honda on our next Honda purchase. I would recommend West Broad Honda to anyone!!

Had previously purchased my dream car from dealer, Terrance Lewis was my sales consultant and diligently worked to get me in my car at the price that worked for me. Not only was he a wonderful sales consultant, but as a follow up worked with service to schedule my free oil change on the vehicle. Everything went smoothly; he made sure they had all the necessary filters for this oil change because the purchased car was not a Honda, but a used vehicle that was on the lot. When I arrived for my oil change, everything was set and ready. I was in and out in a very timely manner. Will definitely use this dealer and consultant when I decide to purchase my next car. I will also continue to use them for service.

I have been a loyal Honda owner for over 7 years, which means I have had my car serviced at a lot of Honda Dealerships. I have never had a more frustrating and miserable experience than West Broad Honda. I have had to make 3 visits in a 2 month span, thanks to their negligence and disrespect. The miserable experience begins as soon as you speak with someone in the service department over the phone. If you are answering the phone at a place of business, I believe there is a level of professionalism that should be displayed; however, West Broad Honda's service staff must have missed that training session. The amount of attitude and complete disrespect shown to me on THREE separate occasions when trying to schedule a service appointment is completely uncalled for and disturbing. After arriving to the Service department, be prepared to stand around and feel like an idiot because everyone acts "too busy" and doesn't acknowledge your presence. The service staff also likes to be argumentative and defensive whenever approached about a question concerning the services they either will be or are performing. The service staff also is great at completely missing obvious and necessary maintenance (aka, not telling the client that the brake pads on their back tires are nonexistent during a brake check appointment, only for this client to be told AND SHOWN by another dealership on the same day). They also tried charging me $120 more than a competitor on a basic routine maintenance procedure. The cashier was literally the only person I felt acted with any courtesy or respect. I would rather drive 3.5 hours to my previous Honda dealer than drive the 7 minutes to West Broad Honda. I highly discourage anyone from receiving service at this dealership and hope West Broad Honda will take into serious account their negligent customer service and strive to fix it. I will no longer be going to West Broad Honda at the start of the new year to purchase a new vehicle thanks to the horrible experiences I have had.

Went in to look at an 09 Honda Accord. This car was "certified" I took it for a ride and the car shimmied when I pressed on the brakes. I looked at the brakes in the front and they were worn down to the rotors... the tires were bald on the outside too. If the car was inspected and certified by their so called mechanics Id hate to see what else is wrong with the car...I bet they didnt even look at it. Stay away from these crooks.

I purchased my 2008 CRV from this dealership. They are all nice and helpful when you are buying. God help you if you need service. At 36,065 miles my CRV AC died. I drove into the service bay to ask about setting up an appointment. No one there could help me. The first gentleman (I use that word loosely) said he was booked solid and I could ask at the other service bay team desks...well, going from desk to desk I couldn't find an appointment for diagnostics until a week later - maybe... A system like this is NUTS. I will not be bringing my business to this dealership again. They are not customer service oriented. They are just out for a buck in the sales department and drop you cold when it comes to standing behind their merchandise.

My sales experience was great and Kate Hinton is a great asset for west broad HONDA/HYUNDAI dealership. Let me explain why. My wife and I, were looking for new car but not completely finalized one or the other. Unfortunately the sales rep at west broad HYUNDAI was very unfriendly to us so we disappointedly left the showroom and stepped into HONDA show roon which is located very net to. There, we happened to meet KATE.Though my wife did not like Honda CRV after test drive, she asked our requirements and interests, she also learnt from us the experience we had with Hyundai sales rep,she quickly went there to Hyundai dealership and helpe us close the deal in 10 minutes for 2011 Hyundai Santa Fe.She has been very professional,courteous and friendly. I 've already recommended to few of my collegues and recommend her to anybody. Yes, she is great asset for the company.

This was the very best car buying exper. I have very had. I have purchased several cars and trucks over my life time. I have never been treated this well. I feel BJ put me first on all levels of customer service. I also met with STeve for the paperwork end of things he was very easy and MADE sure I understood all of the forms I was signing. I couldn't be happier with my purchase. Oh yes there was a guy I when back and forth with the price I can't remember his name I called him the Money Man he was great also. I felt like the dealship really wanted to meet all of my needs and make me happy. I will tell anyone who will listen how great your dealship is.

Kate Hinton did a great job when my my oldest daughter was shopping for her first car. My daughter told me about the Honda Fit Sport model. I called Kate and made arrangements to see the car and talk to her. She was very courteous and did not press me to buy the car. I researched the best price form USAA and she was close to matching it. Had she continued to call me I would have not purchased the car. I prefer to meet and talk once then sign a deal.Taking car of my daughter, 22 year old, is what did it for me and no pressure.

The staff at West Broad Honda made my experience excellent. I live 1.5 hours from the dealership. I negotiated the price and options via email and phone. They were fast and courteous in handling all of my requests. They understood my needs and listened to my concerns. My car had not come in from Honda yet and as they promised they called me when it came in, held the car until I could get there to see it and had all the paperwork ready to go when I arrived. I have 2 young kids who had to come with me to the dealership and the way in which they handled the sale made all the difference. I was in and out within 1.5 hours and that included time to test drivbe the new vehicle to be sure everything was okay. From start to finish they were professional and honest, two qualities rarely found in the car industry. I could not be happier with my car or my experience and I would highly recommend them, whether you live in Richmond or you are travelling from any distance. Thanks West Broad Honda for making one of the things I dislike the most (buying a car) one of the bext experiences I have ever had.

I went in for a standard oil change and tire rotation on my Honda Ridgeline. Was told it would take 1-1.5 hours, took 3 with no excuses or apologies. When it was finally ready to be picked up, the tires had not been rotated (I knew this due to a gauge in the tire) and there was a scratch on the hood above the headlight. They gave me my money back but did then came up with a lame excuse about the tire rotation and told me that the scratch did not happen in the dealership. I told him that I walked the truck when I dropped it off and that I am positive that it happened while they had it, he basically called me a liar. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE with this dealership and I will be telling ALL of my friends and family to beware of shoddy service - "if" they are even doing any service at all while they have your car.

Several weeks ago my octogenarian father decided it was time to change cars. The large, older model car he was driving ran well and had low mileage; but the low seats were not practical, the gas mileage was not good and it lacked safety features found in newer cars. Because his driving is primarily short trips around town, I encouraged him to explore smaller models. Being retired, he didn't want to spend a lot of money on a new car. He called me from a local car dealership to see what I thought of a very basic, year-old Toyota with 20,000 miles. While the car drove very well, I suggested that for a little more than the asking price, he might be able to get a new car, with no mileage, and some features, like power door locks, that I consider to be important for safety.After some quick internet research, we wanted to test drive a Honda Fit and a Toyota Yaris. We visited West Broad Honda, where we were fortunate to meet Kevin Smith. After exploring a Fit in the showroom, we took a test drive. We loved the Fit's ability to configure seats to accommodate wheelchairs and walkers. The car handled very well and rode quite comfortably for a car that size. Without pressure or making us feel like we were being played with, Kevin gave us what we felt was a good price for the car. He also allowed a very fair trade-in, as I suspect my father overestimated the value of his car. Kevin was patient when, instead of closing the deal, I still wanted Dad to test drive the Toyota for comparison. We headed for Toyota and test drove the Yaris. We were disappointed in its use of space, and the interior did not seem to be finished as well as the comparably equipped Fit. While it drove well, it did not seem to shift as smoothly as the Honda. We were encouraged to try a Corolla. While it was more than my Father had planned to spend, it was just a nicer cara little heavier, a bigger engine, more comfortable. While Toyota offered a decent deal, we didn't feel that they had done as well as they could have. And, to be fair, if my Father was willing go move up to the Corolla, I said he needed to drive the Civic.I called Kevin Smith the next morning and he agreed to meet us, even though he had planned to take the day off. We test drove a Civic and found the same differencessmoother shifting, better finished interior than the Toyota. Kevin again gave us a solid deal the first time. We drove away in a new car, feeling like we'd gotten a great product, at a very fair price, and been treated well by the dealership. I waited several weeks before writing this comment to make sure the new car "glow" was not a factor. My father is as happy as can be. He loves how the car handles and says it is so easy to park. He is really enjoying it! I love the safety features and feel like he made a great choice. This was not the first car I've bought from West Broad Honda, and I'm sure it won't be the last. Thanks, Kevin and West Broad! You've made my Dear old Dad a happy man!

I have owned five or six different Hondas over the years. I have purchased them in Vermont, Maryland, New York, and Virginia. When I bought my new Accord back in January at West Broad Honda, it was my first experience beginning the process on the internet. When I got to the dealership for a test-drive and met Scott, I immediately felt comfortable and, for the first time buying a car, listened to. Mr. Davis has a way of making the whole car-buying process so simple and matter-of-fact. There was no pressure, none of the usual back-and-forth crap with the sales manager. I had been to another dealership and had tried to explain my situation: I am moving back to Vermont in the not-too-distant future, and wanted a vehicle with traction control and decent MPG. I loved my 98 CRV when I was in VT previously, but with current gas prices, I needed something with better mileage. The "other guys" were extremely pushy and kept suggesting a top-of-the-line Fit because that is the only trim-line that comes with traction control for that model. Well, guess what? There simply weren't any in this area - period. The "other guys" kept telling me "We found one for you!" and two days later it was no-where to be found. This went on for a couple of months and that's when I finally got in touch with Christy on West Broad Honda's web site. I didn't know that ALL new Accords come with traction control. I also had no idea I could get one in my price range. I am thrilled with my new Accord and Scott made it happen for me. It's roomy, quiet and comfortable. It handles well. On a recent trip to New York, I got just shy of 35 miles per gallon - and that's with A/C! Enough said?

Diego was the salesman and we had a great experience as he patiently took us on test drives over and over again. The manager matched the price of the dealer offering the cheapest price located 40 miles from us with extended warranty included in the price. I even got an excellent interest rate on the loan they offered me. Overall, I would go again and make another purchase anytime.

I guess I just love Honda's. They've been great cars for me. I came to West Broad recently for a used Civic, and ended up with a new Fit. Kate was very informative and knowledgable. She actually set my radio channels for me after asking for a few of my favorite stations! That's never happened before. She went over all the features and we took a nice long test drive. When I brought my new car back in for a protective coat, she met me and gave me a loaner car to drive back to work. Since then she and Christy have communicated with me through email and invited me to stop back in for any further instructions or details about my car.I plan to drive this car til it drops, which should be many years. But when I do get another car, I will definitely look up Kate at West Broad. If she's not there, I hope I can find her somewhere else!

My initial communications were via email. I expected that after some exchange of information, I would be asked to come in to see a salesperson. Surprisingly, that wasn't the case. I was able to negotiate via email, and had my offer accepted. Everything subsequently went easily and smoothly.This was the easiest new car purchase I have ever made. It wasn't at all like what I was dreading: having to deal with too aggressive salesmen, and long, drawn-out negotiations with the salesman going back and forth to the sales manager, etc.

My wife and I were looking to buy a roadster, and had test driven a Mercedes SLK, BMW Z3, Audio TT and then tried the S2000 at the Honda dealer. Firstly, the sales guy would not allow us to test drive a new car, we had to test drive a used one, and secondly, he would not allow my wife and I to drive together - we had to take separate test drives with him. All the other dealers we had been to, had absolutely no problem giving us the keys to one of their new roadsters. The Honda sales guy even made a comment that he's only giving me the paltry little quad-fold brochure because we showed up in our Mercedes SUV, otherwise "everybody would want one".I have no idea what sort of customers they deal with on a daily basis, but I made sure that I didn't fall into that group. It's a freaking Honda that you're trying to sell. Get a grip!We ended up paying cash for a new Mercedes SLK.

They made one hell of a loyal customer out of me over the past 3 years...maybe they took pity on me since I'm a poor grad student, but their assessments were honest as far as I could tell and they did good work on my car. They even did minor repair work (fixing my fuel door) for free and with a smile, and went to the length of always giving me a call the day after to make sure I have no complaints regarding their work. Excellent dealership, at least in terms of maintenance service, and they never gave me any crap about "oh i think you should get this repaired/replaced/flushed" unlike, ahem, certain other dealerships in the northern va area.
