His upbeat pleasant personality is what we all need these days. It’s easy for someone in a fast paced busy customer service position to become a bit irritated with people, but not Shawn. I just bought a 2006 Toyota Tacoma from West hills Ford and it was an amazing buying experience. Shawn Barrera was the man! He was very helpful finding me the exact truck I wanted. 5 WEEK repair waiting time… 3 cars nothing but problems. STAY AWAY. First car bought in 2017 and have had it in the shop for major problems once a year since. Transmission was replaced. They did all my oil changes and somehow my engine oil ended up with metal shards which created a need for a new engine. Now we are currently getting the turbo fixed because it was not replaced with the engine last time. 5 WEEKS has now passed and they still are “waiting for parts.” They never answer or return my calls. My service advisor has “been away.” Therefor, nobody knows what is happening with my car. It’s like it has seized to exist. I went to get something from the car about two weeks ago and my whole engine was in pieces just sitting out on the ground. Really makes you think what problems will come from that later. Second car has had a faulty known issue with the transmission since day one. 2014 focus. We have had it in multiple times to get the clutch plate replaced. Third car was my son’s and had the same transmission issues and was also a 2014 focus. He had clutch plate replaced twice and once the whole transmission needed to be replaced he finally said he was done and traded it in. West hills ford needs to get their act together. 5 weeks is way too long to be waiting especially with no straight answer on when it will be done.

I almost purchased a car that was in Virginia, during 2 different hurricanes. I did notice a large stain in the middle of the van. Because car dealers don't have a moral/ethical compass-buyer don't beware, buyer walk away and purchase from a private seller! I would rather roll the dice with the public than dealers.Because there is a car shortage, dealer honesty has sunk to an all time low; and you certainly can't rely on their honesty (they listed the car as a 2005, but carfax indicates it's a 2004-the year of the hurricane.) If you can, Avoid this dealer!! I placed several calls to request my down payment hold money for this car be returned to me,$500, and they failed to respond to my requests. I'm going on day 3 and I finally received a call, "Hey, we got great news for ya!" Just return the funds to my account.

We just bought our 2nd new Mazda from West Hills Mazda in 2 years. We liked the CX-3 so much we bought a new CX-5. We had outstanding treatment from all of the staff, from the receptionist , the sales persons and the finance manager. All were courteous and knowledgeable and we were treated with respect and made comfortable. We have owned BMWs and found their dealers to be outstanding and it is great to find a Mazda dealer as good as or better than the BMW folks.Outstanding job!!

It was a surprise to me that all the reviews here thought the buying process was good. Maybe my experience was an exception, but they gave me a quote and when it came time for the sit-down paper work they added charges and took away credits. I suppose it is this way with all car dealers, but I felt I had to argue and hold my position to simply get the price that they had told me and was clearly displayed on the windshield of the car in the lot. BTY, the Yelp reviews on service are mostly very bad.

I went shopping today for a new Ford Edge or Escape. I was greeted promptly by a spunky but very professional named Ian. He asked about my preferences and proceeded to show me cars with those options. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicles and pointed out the differences in several models. I picked out a 2016 Ford Escape, we took it for a test drive and then we discussed trade in and financing. The Allstate man was very informative and helpful but he didn't pressure me into changing insurance companies. Clay, the Finance Manager was very helpful and informative about options for making my vehicle choice even better. I drove home with my new vehicle today and will certainly recommend West Hills to friends who want to purchase a new vehicle. I have been a West Hills (Parr Ford) customer for years and have purchased many vehicles from them my team leader Cheryl ensures my vehicles are serviced in a timely manner, thank you West Hills for great service, PS I am a lady and shopped on my own and was treated with upmost respect.

If you're an enthusiast looking for a Focus ST, Miata, FRS, etc. I recommend working with Ian Neeland. He is a hardcore enthusiast who knows everything there is to know about these kinds of cars and is genuinely passionate about them. I wasn't ready to buy the day I came in but he nonetheless spent an inordinate amount of time with me to help narrow down the kind of car I wanted, (a hot-hatch or a new Miata). I'll definitely make a point of buying specifically from him when I am ready to buy, and that's the first time I've felt motivated to return to a specific salesperson in 25 years of buying cars. The experience overall was pleasant with a minimum of high pressure tactics.

Let me start off by saying the only reason they got one star is because this website gives me no choice. Long store below summed up; I will NEVER purchase from West Hills Ford or any affiliated West Hills dealers. I will NEVER recommend them to any of my friends or family. I wouldn't even recommend them to my worst enemy who I would normally like to see suffer. Read in full below.Lets start off with I purchased a used car. Our salesman told us it was a V6 AWD, come to find out it was a V4 FWD and I was charged $1,000 over fair price thinking it was a better car than it was; I'll take the hit for this because I trusted him and didn't read the paperwork. About a month later, we started having transmission problems, which they agreed to look at and repair for free. They found no problems, but a day later it started again where I couldn't even drive the car. After fighting with them and threatening to contact the better business burl and a few other avenues, they said they would pay off the remainder of my loan and work with me to get me into another car... Awesome, right? NO! They didn't work with me AT ALL. The first car was about $13,800 and I paid $1,700 in down-payment, they were only willing to pay off my loan so I was out almost $2,000 in down-payment. Or as I thought! The car was valued at $10,000 which was almost $4,000 less than what I paid a month before. They were going to give me $12,300 for the car which was $2,000 over trade in saying they were working with me. So I picked out another car and they tried to charge me $2,000 over the sticker price to make for for that other $2,000 they said they were going to take the hit on for selling me a bad car. When I told the guy it was over sticker price, he flat out said "I wish I knew that before typing this up" since I had a picture of the VID and price. Then he acknowledges it was the $2,000 they were going to lose for trade in. So not only did they have my $1,700 down-payment on the first car, but they were trying to charge me an extra $2,000 on the new cars sticker price. I was basically backed into a corner by a bully! Do I take the $12,300 for a car that I cannot drive and get another car from them, or do I take my car to another dealership who is only going to give me $10,000... Either I take the deal and lose money, or I don't have a car to drive my family around in. Not only should they be paying me back my $2,000 down-payment, but some sort of damages from the stress they caused me and my family!On another note, while I had the first car the battery went out that I had to pay out of pocket for. The manager said he would get it refunded to me. A little over a week after getting the new car, they say they aren't giving me the money for the battery because they gave me $500 to spend at car toys, but that $500 spent at car toys was actually put into my loan and I will be paying for it in the long run.

We came in just looking, we had a 2013 Kia Sole and were not really going to buy, we like looking at cars and had read some reviews about some SUV and Crossover type vehicles and wanted to see. Cody started helping us and he listened. He got us into a couple of different vehicles and asked us our thoughts on them. Then he pulled out Our Car! It was the right color and it had all the features we had talked about! Wow he explained it thoroughly and then walked us through the trade in process and the sales process. I would summarize by saying the overall transaction was very good. As with any dealing there are always differences of opinions towards a final purchase pricing. After all, I, as a buyer, want the best deal and the dealer wants the best deal for the ownership. With this said, I found that my salesperson, Cody, was honest and stayed with the transaction without being pushy to reach a good conclusion for both parties. Also involved in the dealings was Mac as a sales manager. In my opinion, one of the items that stood out was no high pressure to conclude the transaction right then and now. When I wanted time to review and think about the actions it was met without the "what do we have to do today make this work" pressure. I, for one will walk from that type of high pressure actions even if the price is close.to my objective.Overall I am very comfortable with my dealings and do recommend the agency and staff. Professional and courteous.

Ok, here's the skippy on this complete waste of time. This dealership is a joke...they low balled the trade in, lied about the loan duration, and don't even sell the Ford Diesel warranties (and they call themselves a Ford dealership). After much "old school" salesmen parlor tricks of back and forth...back and forth, and tons of my time, we agree on 5.9% with my credit, 72 months, and 700 a month. The Sales Manager (Mr. Patterson) worked on it for 1 day and called me to come in and pick up my truck because they "made it happen." So I drive 20 miles to the dealership and Steven (the salesman who was the only decent guy in the place it seemed) takes me into the F&I guys office. This is where the xxxxxxxx always happens with unscrupulous dealers. After looking over their offerings I decline GAP and ask why there are no Ford Extended Warranties or Maintenance plans. He says this dealership doesn't offer them (Hmm, a Ford dealership not offering Ford Warranties), must not have been enough commission built into them for them!! I decline the purchase after not seeing the Ford warranties but being a mechanic, change my mind and go ahead with the sale, as I thought I was getting a decent deal. WRONG!!! After looking over the paperwork I see that they have tried to weasel in 78 months instead of 72 months like we agreed upon!! Nice one, a bold face lie from the Sales Manager, and a finance trick "fast one," from the rest of them. Apparently, they assume somebody with a college degree in Finance can't do simple interest loans in his head because that 6 months tacked on 4,200 dollars onto what we agreed on. This made the deal ridiculously in their favor. I can't stress this enough, do not do business with this dealership, they will waste your time, try and deceive you, and act like it was a simple clerical error. You will get much better service at Hasselwood Auto Group... or Bowen Scarff Ford if you are set on a Ford. Absolutely abhorrent and unethical business practices at this place. Where can I start! I visisted 10 other lots before I came and spent a few hrs at Parr Ford! I spent the better part of 2 weekends looking for a car for my wife! I have been held against my will promised cars and follow up and had neither! I was looking for a very specific FORD! I have to admit I had at this point a bad taste in my mouth but I had one more stop on my list before I made my decision! When I arrived at Parr I was greeted with a smile! I told a few people I just wanted to look around and would come get someone if I had a question......apparently at all the other dealers that was a bad thing and I was treat poorly from that point forward! But Parr was different! They let me look around and when I was curious about something a very friendly sales person came out and assisted me! Blane came down and answered all my questions but not like you would think a salesman would! He actually talked to me! Like I was a person and not a paycheck or sale!! He helped me with information and consulted me threw the process! They found me exactly what I wanted and I didnt have to sacrifice anything!!! I got the price I wanted and the finace guy took great care of me!!!!! I had my preapproval from the bank I had been with for 12 yrs....but the finace guy look at that and got me a better rate and term!!! I have sent 6 people to Parr so far to buy cars!~ and each person has come back to say the same thing I did! Parr was a cut above the rest!!!!!
