Really grateful for the experience in purchasing my first car. Mike, Karen, and Chris were very nice, informative, and worked with me to get a great Hyundai with the features I was looking for. They all made the experience fun and easy. Karen was the first person to warmly greet me and since Hyundai wasn't her forte, she was able to turn me over to Chris, who is an expert. Although she still let me check out all the available models they had on lot so I could begin my comparison. Mike is a very caring person and really takes care of his clients. I believe he's the manager, super outgoing and friendly and he works with you. Chris is super knowledgable when it comes to Hyundai and made the selection process so smooth! Sean the finance guy made the paperwork process feel simplified and easy to follow along. I had a lot of fun shopping for my vehicle and you would enjoy working with the staff at this dealership!

It was actually a great experience from beginning to end. People typically fear or hate going to dealerships and dealing with the dealers and managers but man these guys were top notch! Friendly, welcoming, and very accommodating! The top guy even came out to greet us before we even made a deal. This is the type of experience that makes people wanna buy a car and made the choice easy for me to purchase from them! The next time I'm in the market for another vehicle, I will definitely be making the trip out there!

Customer service was great but sometimes a bit repetitive. The salesman could have pointed out what the car didn't come with, for example the front passenger seat does not come with an arm rest. I didn't notice it when I took it for a test drive.

Once again I am pleased with the express lane. It is fast and smart to have this terrific service. No appt. needed, your basically in and out with this service, it keeps minor services like oil changes out of the main shop and frees up appt. time's. You dont have to make a separate appt to do basic service due to the 28 point inspection they give and they will tell u if changes or repairs are needed. Keep up the great service!

The experience with Windward Hyundai was not too stressful as what some car shopping experiences are. Jay Lee was very respectful, polite, and never aggressive with showing us the cars. His approach was not intimidating that's why we want back for a second look at the car that we wanted. Giraud was very thorough and helpful in closing the transaction.

The process took a little longer than i personally thought it should have. It's understandable though how it could have taken longer though. I drove out to Windward City even though there was a closer dealership for Hyundai in town, as they had the color and make that I wanted. Johnny Sparks was my salesman and I felt that he really went to bat for me and gave me a fantastic deal. I felt that he was sincere and honest. I still have his cell number as he gave it to me and told me to call him anytime I needed anything. His manager, Rachel, was also great and brought the price down do an offer too good to pass up on, even though I have to drive 30 minutes to get my car serviced. Also, the service dept. was great, as was the managers Clifton, and Quentin, who both came to the rescue and provided me with a loaner car when we ran into some gliches with a service light and needing to have a vehicle to drive in spite of enterprise being closed at that time of night. I've have my auto since May 2016, and it's only June, but so far, they have been great. If they keep it up, They might have me for life. I switched from Infiniti (whose service dept can't be beat) as they just didn't go to bat for me (in the sales dept) and even though I had been an infiniti driver for YEARS (brought my vehicle from AL when I moved to HI), I felt like they didn't care that I was a loyal customer. My point is not to insult Infiniti, but rather to impress upon you the significance of Hyundai's sales and service dept so far, from JOHNNY SPARKS( he is the BEST) to Pat in the service department, and all of the people in the middle. I am glad to be part of the Windward City Hyundai Ohana. Hopefully, I'll be able to say that in 4 or 5 years when I buy a new car.Sincerely,Reagan Ponder, MD

Done in timely manner. I am just really disappointed that I wasn't aware that my radio warranty expires and you want $4000 to replace it. Pretty much see that it's a set up... Too bad, because up til that, five stars every time... Ridiculous price for a radio... And my understanding at car sake was that as long as o kept up the regular serving, my car was under warranty...

I have always gone in for express service because I take my car in before work and I have never had a problem with the length of time it takes or the quality of work. I even had a few questions for Pat in the Service department and he took the time to answer all of them for me patiently. They were questions about the performance of my car but unrelated to the oil change etc. I really appreciated that.

Our customer service agent was pleasant and remembered us from the last visit. The service was done in a timely fashion and the only thing that I felt bad about was that the area where the agent was stationed was "hot" and the desk was tucked into a corner so I felt bad for her. Overall, she was courteous and she came to get us after our car was serviced so it was great.

Buying a new car had always been a very stressful experience for me. On Wednesday October 21, that all change when I went to Windward Hyundai. From the moment my wife and I arrived on the lot we were shown the kind of customer service one would expect from a cruise ship not an auto dealership. It started with Jay who catered to all our needs. He showed a lot of patience as we weren't sure as to what kind of vehicle we wanted. He was persistent though never "pushy" in trying to help us find the right car for us. Then Gabe made sure that we were well taken care of. We finally narrowed our choices to two different vehicles and we met with Rachel. She was very helpful. She crunched numbers for us and the finance department submitted our application and they gave us options. I have dealt with other dealers who have come back to me with "this is what we can do for you" and it was a single option. Rachel presented different options. We then road tested a vehicle that we liked and fit with the budget we had in mind. We had preferred another model that we really liked but it was a little out of our budget. However, Rachel informed us of an incredible dealer rebate incentive that put this preferred model right within our budget range as far as our monthly payment was concerned. We were both extremely happy with this offer and took it. Although I'm quite sure we would have been satisfied with the original model, we were now ecstatic to be able to get this preferred model. I have no doubt that we were able to get the approved financing due to the tireless efforts of the entire finance department and the persistence of Rachel. I should also mention that throughout the process we were informed of what was happening as it was happening. We were not left wondering what was going on. We were even introduced to members of the service department. Next we met with Donald the finance manager. Donald, as was the case throughout, provided us with detailed explanations of the maintenance package offers. In the end, we believe, we made the right choice that fits our needs. They prep'd the car for us which included a full tank of gas and we left feeling like all of our expectations had been vastly exceeded. The very next day I received a call from Christina of Windward Hyundai who was just checking our satisfaction level of our purchase or to see if we had any questions, and she offered her phone number just in case we had future questions. Now that's what I call follow up to ensure customer satisfaction. Sorry about the long comment here but I do believe that recognition should be given when it is earned and I believe they earned it. And I didn't get the feeling that they were just doing their jobs, it seemed that they genuinely cared about us as people not just customers and it showed. I also should recognized Hyundai itself for offering a tremendous rebate program. I really didn't mean to write a whole commercial for them and just wanted praise the employees. If I wanted to do a commercial, I'd mention the free car washes and free tire replacement.

My experience at Dodge Hyundai Windward was a great learning experience for me. This is the first dealership where I actually purchased my first car and because of the hardwork of Kealii, Vince, and Johnny Sparks, I walked out with a brand new 2016 Hyundai Elantra. I never thought it would've been possible for someone like me with average credit being a server and college student to get the blessing to buy a brand new car. I appreciated that fact that he took the time to show us the inventory of cars you had and the fact that he was very knowledgeable of the vehicles, especially the features of the vehicle. He went out of his way to make sure we got what we wanted and the best price. His manager Rachel made us feel real comfortable and was also very friendly and worked with us on the final finance terms and got us through the paperwork in a timely manner. I also appreciated the dealer warranty exclusives that came with the lease of the vehicle, like monthly car wash, lifetime warranty on the tires and engine, road side service.etc. I would definitely come back here again and make sure we recommend to others looking a new car.

Too much time was spent with the dealership staff attempting to fit us in a vehicle out of our budget. Time is valuable. The quad graph for financing is unprofessional. When we state we want to spend 20-25K we do not mean 400 a month, this was insulting like we were not being listened to. Also there was an emphasis on providing 5 star feedback. They were really interested in knowing or getting to know how we might rate them.

It can be challenging to even consider going to a car dealership especially as a female as I expected salespeople to attempt to take advantage of me. Definitely NOT the case at Windward Hyundai. I had no experience buying a new car but I went here to go look. Giruad was the main person I worked with. He asked me about what I want in a car and came up with the Hyundai Accent. After asking him 213890 questions he asked if I would buy it that day. I chose to go and think about it and looked into other cars. After doing research I found a couple other possible cars and also looked into their competitor Tony in Honolulu. I also considered buying the spark, an inferior but cheaper car. I called Giruad back with some more questions and then came in with even more and he was very knowledgeable and helpful. Tony over the phone gave me a slight better overall price BUT it did not include as good of benefits (tires for life, car washing etc). I presented what I wanted and what I was considering from competitors to Windward and did some haggling and in the end Windward had the best deal. Also, not sure if Tony would have honoured their offer in person. Once I bought the car, Giraud gave me a ride so I could get my old car home and pick up the new car. Everyone I encountered at Windward was friendly. I love my new car. I love the warranty. I'll give a service review after I experience some of the services my new car came with.

My visits continually added to my feeling of trust in what I was told. Pat, Hiram, Marco, parts dept guyall treated me with attention and patience. I was not blown off or ignored for my questions.I had unsure expectations of service since this was first time buying and using service at this place but I left with a good preception of service attitude by this group.I have suggestion for all staff at the facility to keep in mind that a customer, visitor, non-employee is to be treated with respect while on the premises because we are not trying to get in your way but maybe not sure where to wait or safely stand awaiting info. A kind 'hello' or 'Need some help?' will always be welcomed and appreciated.

Gabby and your mechanics take amazing care of my car. With all the construction going on, I've had to come in multiple times for tire repair. This last visit, my tire pressure light came on while I was driving around with my daughters. Worried something would happen on our outing, I went directly to windward hyundai. Gabby, the helpful lady running the express lane, and your mechanics worked their magic, and in no time my tire was fixed and my girls and I were on our way. We only have two Hyundai dealers on the island, and I will keep driving way out of my way to come to Windward. The other guys said I needed to replace my, in their words, "severely cracking" belts. The guys at Windward Hyundai opened up the hood and showed me my belts (which had no visible cracks). They took the time to do extra research on when the manufacturers recommend replacing the belts just to give me peace of mind. As I said, for me, these guys are the furthest geographically. But they've been far better than the other guys, and I'll continue to drive all the way out there to have them help me.

Usually when you go to a dealer the fear is you'll be paying a lot. But I had the opposite experience at Windward Hyundai. They serviced my Santa Fe for a very reasonable price, and did exactly what I asked. I needed the car detailed as well as serviced. For $69.95 the car came back like new. This is after being quoted $250 by a local detailer. I am very pleased with the speed and efficiency of WH. They even arranged for a rental car for me for $30, which is cheap on Oahu! They made a customer out of me.

I live in Mililani but prefer to have my car serviced in Kaneohe Windward Hyundai.. Although the service Dept was unable to diagnose why my car was losing power. . And despite bringing my car in twice to try and find the problem.. And being frustrated .. I am still satisfied with the service I received.. Service Adviso Kimo Makaula kept me informed every step of the way ..he sensed my frustration and tried his best to work with the Mechanic to try and resolve the problem

My husband and I have brought our 2010 Sonata in a few times to fix the transmission problem- transmission jerks when the engine is downshifting. Two times technicians told us the transmission fluid was dirty, and we told them to do what needed to be done in June 2014 - change fluid, etc. Bob actually drove our car home to test it, but said he didn't notice any problems. When we came to pick up the car, the jerking problem began as soon as we left Windward Hyundai. We immediately drove back and Bob went along with us as we drove in the area. Bob also experienced the jerking transmission. Bob had the transmission technician (Phan?) ride with us, but the problem wasn't as bad as it was when Bob was in the car. When Phan returns, hopefully the problem will be solved and fixed.This is our second Sonata. We really enjoyed our blue 2006 Sonata. We shipped it to our son in Seattle when he was a senior in college and bought our 2010 Sonata. It has been discouraging to go through this transmission problem and other problems. Hopeful in Maili - Faye and HarryP.S. I know this was way over 25 words but I needed to explain how we felt and what happened.

I called to make an appointment to do my safety check and Gabrielle took me as soon as I arrived.As usual, I also got a car wash with my oil change, and I was very surprised to have all of the work completed in less than one hour (I was originally told that it might take between 1.5 and 2 hours).This dealer always does an excellent job on my service and they also have great customer service.

Bob, the assistant service manager was very prompt in accepting my car for service. I had planned for an oil change but my "check engine light" was also on so he had one of the technicians check it out. It took much longer than what I planned for an oil change, however I was very appreciative that he took care of the problem.Windward Hyundai also provide excellent service and they have very good customer service skills. All of the service attendants that meets me when I bring my car in for service always greets me with a smile and are very courteous.

Mike was very attentive to my needs. He listened to me and presented options that might achieve what I wanted. I was still very early in my decision process when I arrived and Mike helped me go through my checklist and make a strong decision. Once I chose the car I wanted he explained the entire process to me as we moved forward. I have never felt so informed throughout the car buying experience as I did that day at Windward. Everything is great except the past 2 times my car was washed it still had spots and missed places. Also I am noticing light scratches on the surfaces. This is the only place I have taken my car. Other than that everything is great, and I am happy I bought my car at your dealership

My husband had an impromptu business trip he had to leave for 2 weeks earlier than he was suppose to. During that time my current car started acting funny. I had to park it and drive my husbands vehicle while he was gone.It was getting closer for him to come home and I knew when he got back I wouldn't be able to drive his truck anymore, so we started looking for a vehicle. I had lowered my choice to 3 and started testing out dealerships.When I arrived at Windward Hyundai, I was instantly greeted by Michael Torres. He was so personable and friendly that we hit it off the bat immediately. He showed me to the vehicles I was looking at but my eyes wandered to a metallic sky blue 2013 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid. He was very thorough in explaining the car inside and out. He let me enjoy the car during the test drive. He also understood that I wanted to wait till my husband came back to fully commit to the car.Michael stayed in touch as well as Stephanie and Amber. Every conversation was pleasant and nice. No pushing or bullying. When I brought my husband in, he felt the same way as I. When we started talking about numbers (the part I hate) they did everything in their power to make it easier on us and get us to where we felt comfortable. Once we agreed, it was all easy as cake after that. We signed and drove off the lot and into the sunset :)

The service was excellent and we always enjoy bringing our car to the Windward side of the Island. We live all the way in Royal Kunia. The people are friendly and the extra service as well as the additional check points done to the car is well worth the drive. Even though we came in to service our car, the sales people there are also friendly and helpful. Gerald Lum has been helpful with the tips for our car even though he is a sales person. Quality people. The free car wash really hits the spot. It sure saves me some elbow grease since I'm retired.

After telling Sal what the issues were with the car and since this was the first time there, he made us feel comfortable and told us what needed to be done and why. He provided excellent service.

Your staff is very friendly and we found Mike to be a very good sales person, very knowledgeable and helpful as far as questions, etc.We were at your dealership from 9:30 am on Tues. 8/6/13 with a 9:45 am appt. The sales managers who your receptionist recommend to see weren't available so Mike Torres was called to assist us. We explained our intentions, which was to get some quotes on a new Hyundai with a trade_in. Well, with the bonuses Mike was able to offer was still a little too high for us. So Mike put in our offer with Quentin Holt and he tried to explain the costs. At that time he asked what kind of figures we had in mind and he had some used trades that were recent trades that could possibly fit our needs. We were ready to leave and wanted to consider the offer when he said he would offer us a deal that would only apply for today, so we listened. Being way past lunch, after 2 pm, we wanted to leave because we had my 92 yr. old mother-in-law with us all this time. But anyway your gang wanted to get everything signed and have us on our way with the new car.The problem I noticed was that the car wasn't really cleaned as you would expect for a car that's ready to go. I mentioned that to Mike and he made an effort to sweep up the concerns and said that the best crew of detailers had gone through the car.I couldn't believe the the trouble trying to remove the water spots on the outer windows. It seemed as though the car went through an automatic wash n wax car wash and the tires were painted. I opened the engine compartment and it was all dusty like a years worth of driving dust and dirt was in there. The vent portion of the windshield had leaves and stuff still there, like it was there for a while. The car seems to be alright but it seems to miss when cold started and the oil fill was above the full line. In their haste, I don't think your staff knew that the car was in that condition just looking at it from the outside. Anyway we left your place at about 4pm. I hope this will help you to make sure things are as they should or would think it should be for any new customers. Thank you, I'm trying not to drive the car until we get the safety check sticker on. I hate to be pulled over by the police, even if it's not my fault. Gerald Sakamura P.S. I brought my Hyundai Genesis in for an oil change for the first time yesterday to the Windward Hyundai service center. I didn't know what to expect. I was surprised that the oil change was fast and simple with only a short wait (my car was the first in line as I got there the earliest). The staff was friendly and efficient in getting my car taken care of swiftly and thoroughly. I liked how the oil change department was separate from the more time consuming car services, such as repairs or complete car inspections. (At my previous car brands service center, it was all lumped together and I could wait a couple hours or more just for a simple oil change). And I was happy to see that the prices were quite reasonable. (I was skeptical before bringing my Hyundai Genesis in this first time on what the rates would be). However, I was pleasantly surprised to see that the prices were very competitive with superior service. So therefore, I gave the Windward Hyundai service center 5s across the board for customer service, quality of work, friendliness, overall experience and price because they surpassed my expectations in all these areas. Great job Windward Hyundai service center! Keep up the great work.

The service clerk was very informative. I knew exactly what services I needed and was receiving and how much it would cost me. She also explained in detail what to expect later for follow up service, putting me on a maintenance plan. I like that I don't have to think about it. All I have to do is follow the plan they set out for me. Would I recommend the dealership?. . .yes, and I have. I recommended my Aunt. She ended up purchasing a car as well.

I bought a new 2013 elantra and only noticed damage to a piece of interior trim when i got home . the piece was not covered under warranty but Mike went straight to his supervisor who gave the ok to have it repaired at no cost to me .
