I had a great experience in 2018. But not in 2021. I had the hardest time getting anyone to answer the phone or return my calls. The sales person I was finally assigned to was not super helpful. I was very disappointed that masks are simply a thing of the past in June 2021 for all employees here. My past experience was great. The sales person was amazing and worked hard to explain everything to me about my new car. Last time the financing lady was great! She’s awesome and explains everything very well and you walk alway knowing what you signed. I did not feel this way this time with a different financial guy. It was very sad to have such a poor experience. This person didn’t even tell me my new account number so I could pay my bill each month. I miss my old sales person.

Was trying to get in weeks before about a Hyundai at our shop. Had called multiple times to talk to a tech about a programming that was needed on a vehicle at our shop, and had left continuous messages with our phone number and email address for a certain tech/service provider at their location over a span of 3-4 weeks. When I was finally able to talk to someone about an appointment, we had to wait an additional 2 weeks to get it in. I fee like that could be improved better for future inquires. Everyone was very friendly and helpful when the time came to bring it in :) which is the reason for my 4/5 stars

I felt like I was being scammed at a different dealership and ended up going to Hyundai West. I went in and worked with Ross to get the car I had my mind set on. I didnt feel like I was being scammed, he professionally explained the details of the car and the leasing options to me, and spent time over a week working with me to get me the car I wanted. Always happy with Zimbrick. I also shopped at Nissan, and was disappointed with their selling process. Told them upfront that I wanted their best price the first time. After venting with their sales manager, their lease price went down almost 25%. After the discounted price they were quite a bit cheaper, but I don't like to do business that way.

I brought our 2016 Hyundai Sante Fe Sport in for its initial servicing. The customer service was top notch and I only had to wait about 30 minutes. I received a coupon for a car wash, because it was "under 20 degrees" and I learned that washing a car in such low temperatures can sometimes result in the door seals to freeze shut (if water remains), causing damage when opening the doors. It made sense, but noone ever told me that before. So good service AND useful education at the same time! And, we LOVE our Hyundai!! Even our 22 year old engineering son has exclaimed about the careful thought behind every feature.

The customer service is awesome, but Hyundai itself is making me very mad. The person I am working with is going an awesome job no complaints there. Why did I say Hyundai is making me mad you ask? This is why, my car has been sitting at the service department longer than I've owned my car. The only reason for that is because I am always waiting for parts. I have owned my car for a little over two months now, and my car has been at the service department for more than a month. On top of that, it is a brand new car, I should not be having problems with it already. I owned a 2004 Elentra for 11 years and never had a problem with. Now, I owned a 2016 Hybrid Sonata and I had more problems with it in two months than I ever did in the 11 years I owned the Elentra. I regret my purchase every day.

I purchased a vehicle from another dealership in town to find that the tires were worn when they told me they were new. Zimbrick has new tires on their vehicles! Tim was honest and helpful. I like my new sporty ride! I was impressed when a loaner was provided to me as the financing needed to be scheduled for the following day. That was very helpful. Thank you.

I really wasn't quite ready to part with my 2006 Tucson but I rec'd a letter from Alicia saying they were looking for vehicles like mine so I thought why not look...no harm in looking right? My wife and I decided to go to Zimbrick due to they had a Sonata LTD in the color and option group we were looking for. We are from Milwaukee County. I have never felt so comfortable buying a car. No pressure, No Games, Just an honest sales person Jeff and Alicia a manager treated us with respect and took the stress out of buying. My wife and I purchased a used 2012 Hyundai Sonata with low mileage. Our salesman, Tim, was very friendly and helpful in making the right decision on what type of car to buy. He never pressured us and he was up front about everything with the car and the buying process. Everyone at Madison Hyundai West was wonderful before the sale. However, they have not followed up on promises made before the sale. I have made numerous efforts to get things fixed. However, 2 of 3 messages left by phone have not been returned and 2 of 2 emails have gone unanswered. I have never been treated this poorly by a car dealership.

I just moved back to the Madison area from North Carolina. I bought my 2014 Tucson down in Jacksonville, NC while in the military and had gone to a lot of different Hyundai dealers down there, to include one that stated it was a "platinum dealer." After getting my Tucson serviced at Zimbrick Hyundai West, I can honestly say that this was by far the best dealership experience I have had. The facility is very clean and nicely kept, the waiting area is excellent and the staff are very professional and kind. I will continue to bring my Tucson to this dealer for all of my service needs. Thank you for doing such a great job!

I went with my girlfriend for her to purchase a Chevy Cruze. Our first impression of Mike was that he didn't want to work with us as customers to begin with. My girlfriend was pre-approved already so there wasn't much work for the financing department to do. We did the initial paperwork with Mike and he was to put the paperwork on the financial person's desk that would be there the next day. Mike knew we wanted the car the next morning but instead put the paperwork on the absent person's desk. My girlfriend goes in to do the rest of the paperwork for the car but none of the financing paperwork was done. My girlfriend got tired of waiting and went to the bank herself since it didn't seem as though Zimbrick had any desire to get it done. Mike never told us that the car only had one set of keys. My girlfriend packs up her belongings into the new car and asks if there was a spare set. Mike said nope sorry. He could've at least told us during purchasing the vehicle so we could work that into the price of the car. When it was time for her to leave she was never offered to have someone work with her on all the settings and features of the car. Mike seriously just gave her the keys and said have a nice day. I will never go to Zimbrick again. I told the manager Lewis about our experience and he blew it off. If it wasn't for the car she absolutely wanted, we would've taken our business elsewhere. She had to go to Ballweg for a demonstration on the car. My family has purchased 3 vehicles from there and there is a reason we keep going back.

I called because I was concerned that I was in compliance with my warranty. Though the miles driven were well within the recommended limit, I have owned the car for six months. The person I talked to at first said I didn't need an oil change, but then came up with something about deposits in the engine or some such, and suggested I come in.The oil change was done, and an additional repair was added to "tune up" my brakes. The employee also suggested I get an alignment and that my windshield wipers were defective.I'm going to have the alignment checked elsewhere. The windshield wipers are working fine, wiping the windshield perfectly. When they need to be changed I will do it myself.I take this as a warning for the future. I will likely check with a lawyer about compliance with my warranty, and get repairs done elsewhere if I can, when they need them. I have had this experience with dealers before, but thought Zimbrick would be different.I have an actual problem with the car, for which it was checked shortly after I bought it. Now it is worse. Nothing was detected, though I reported it runs rough. Now it runs rough and the engine revs up when it changes gear at 60 mph. I want this fixed. This is covered by my warranty. If Zimbrick can do it, maybe someone else can.

Two weeks a go my wife an I purchase a 2010 Hyundai Elentra , upon getting home we found that the car was previously owned by an smoker , since we are none smokers that was a big issue for us . After communicating our concerns to our sales professional Rex , he was totally concern about the issue since apparently the previous owner try to mask the smell with large quantities of fab rise or something like it, we drove the car for a week after a treatment to remove the smell that did part of its job but not good enough for us . Rex and the sales manager discussed our predicament and to our pleasant surprise they made the call to replace the car , we ended with a 2012 Elentra like new condition that we picked up today, I found this to be an outstanding customer service to the fact that was a very expensive proposition for the dealer every buddy involved specially Rex did a fantastic Job to make it right for us ,this people are incredible . If you are looking for a certified use car please give Rex a call he will treat you like you are very special. Thanks again guys for all your hard work..

Wednesday afternoon, came into the Hyundai Dealership for a new vehicle for my husband after we hit a deer and totalled out our Sante Fe...we were looking for our 5th Hyundai in 19 years. We left that evening with a new Tuscan for my husband and returned today to pick up a new Genesis Coupe for me that I feel in love with while my husband was working on the paperwork for his Tuscan. We love the reliability of the Hyundai vehicles and the terrific service post purchase! Both Shawn and Casey were great to work with and they worked hard to remind us of why we love working with Zimbrick Hyundai.

I took my 2004 Hyundai Sonata for a regular check-up to Zimbrick Hyundai West. They looked at it and said that there is a small coolant leak and I should not worry at all. Two weeks later while I was driving, the top rubber tube exploded and all the coolant leaked out of the engine and I was stranded for hours. This is very irresponsible behavior. This will not happen if they have done a better job.

I just purchased a used Stratus for an amazing price! Everyone was super nice. I got lost and ended up at a different lot, and the woman who helped me gave us directions to the actual lot and even called ahead of time to let Doug know. They were honest, caring, and actually cared about what I wanted. And Casey didn't go to lunch before helping me get my financial stuff figured out! Thanks so much guys! I've already referred three people to you guys!

This place treats women like it's the 1950s. Salesman tried to convince me that "no one discounts from the sticker price any more" and suggested that only disreputable dealerships negotiate on price. He also showed me a Kelley Blue Book value that was $1000 more than the one I pulled up on my own from home. I was a female shopping alone; I doubt they would have tried this nonsense with a man. Avoid this dealership.

Chad Collins was our salesperson. He was very knowledgeable and thoroughly answered all of our questions. He was very friendly and went out of his way to make our car-buying experience enjoyable. He was not aggressive and let us take our time and decide which car was best for us. We were undecided between two colors, and he did not have one of the colors on the lot so he had one delivered from another dealership to make our decision easier. Overall, we were very happy with our experience with Chad and very happy with the Zimbrick Hyundai West dealership.

Coming to terms of sale was easy and not at all stressful. Very low pressure. The car was such a nice value it sold itself. Before I took the car they filled it with gas and offered to wash it. After the sale Mike has been quick to respond to questions and requests. I would recommend Zimbrick and Mike to anyone looking for a Hyundai.

Rex was an excellent salesperson - professional, friendly, not pushy, knowledgeable, helpful, and attentive to every detail. It was nice being able to go alone on my test drives because I could focus on the car - not that I would have minded having him along. He took plenty of time with me, answered all questions, and supplied additional useful information. Financial Managers Shawn Murphy and Casey Starin offered explanations when needed and were helpful. The dealership was clean and comfortable, and the coffee was good. I was happy with all aspects of my experience!

I've never been to an auto dealership, and the experience here spoiled me. The salesman with whom I was supposed to meet got busy and had to set me up with a second associate, and they called to let me know. That second associate was extremely courteous and not at all smarmy--very sincere. I ended up not liking the car I had come to drive, so it didn't work out for them, but I would recommend this dealership to anyone.

I purchased my third Hyundai from Chad. I took a day off to try to buy a new car and went straight to this dealership since I've had good luck in the past. Chad asked me what I was looking for, even down to the color I wanted. I thought my "wants" would outpace my pocketbook and I would have to settle for a smaller vehicle. Chad was able to point me toward a new Sonata with 2000 "manager" miles on it but otherwise still brand new in terms of warranties and whatnot. With the reduced price, rebates, a Hyundai loyalty credit and my trade-in, I was able to get the car I really wanted which should have cost me at least $5,000 more than I paid. Chad even set up the bluetooth for my phone and gave me a basic introduction to the full navigation system. I haven't figured out all of the bells and whistles yet but I know I will; and if I have any questions I know who to call.

Wife and I have bought two vehicles from Zimbrick. We worked with Chad both times. We came back the 2nd time because of our service the first time. We will never buy a non-Hyundai or non-Honda again. Fair, easy dealership to work with. My only complaint was that there was no Saturday service -- but now there is!

Dave Han was our salesman and he did a great job of answering all our questions and giving us the reasons to buy the Hyundai Elantra vs the competition. We called ahead and they had the cars in front of the store and ready for us to look at. Dave gave us the keys and let us test drive the car by ourselves so that we could discuss what we thought about the car. We told him that if we liked what we saw we would like to take it home that day and he said that wouldn't be a problem. The business manager was busy and Dave knew we were in town watching our daughter play volleyball, so he told us to go and come back later and they would have the paperwork ready and they did. We signed the papers and paid for the car and left with our new car. We were very happy with the whole process and the professionalism of everyone at the dealership.

My initial contact with Rob was very good. He was helpful with giving me information on pricing to have my 2004 Elantra serviced. Along with other items, I requested pricing to have the brakes replaced. He stated "$425 for the front and back". After noting all the prices and asking him if all items could be completed by the following Friday, he stated yes, I just needed to schedule my appointment a few days in advance. The next day I called back and made the appointment for the following Friday (a few days in advance). The main reason I choose them to do the work was because ALL work needed to be completed by that Friday and I was assured it would be. Approx. 3 hours after dropping my car off to be serviced, I received a call from Rob letting me know that both the front and back brakes indeed needed to be replaced (rotors and pads)the price would be $825.00! Upon questioning him regarding the price as quoted "$425 for the front and back" I was told, "no, it is $425 for the front and another $425 for the back! HOW MISLEADING IS THAT? I told him I would need to contact my husband and would get back to him. After a fair amount of phone tags , we finally made contact again at around 1pm and I told him to just grind the rotors and put pads on the front (they also had to replace the timing belt yet). At 4:35pm I received a call from Rob that they were done servicing the car but were unable to get to the brakes!! I had to locate another service company that could service my car before Sunday! I was able to find a company to service the car on Saturday. You can imagine my surprise when I was quoted approx. $380 to have both the front AND the bake breaks repaired! They also told me that the calibers in the back needed to be replaced. How can a Hyundai service garage not be able to identify this issue during a brake inspection??!! They never said one word about the calibers! I rated the quality of work as OK as I passed the car on to my son that Sunday and haven't heard of any issues. I rated the Friendliness as GOOD because Rob come across as friendly initially until I realized he was fake. In addition, my husband phoned the service dept. management team the following Monday and left phone messages, but after almost two weeks, has not received a return call from anyone!

These guys were very professional and not pushy. The salesman that sold us our van was Kevin. He was a nice young guy that answered all of our questions, gave us a good deal, and didn't pressure us at all. We were very pleased with their service and would highly recommend them.
