I bought a new Ram 2500 @ Zimmer. It was the best experience I've ever had buying a vehicle from a dealer. From the time Alicia greeted us outside to the moment I left the dealership there was no pressure to buy. Everyone we met at the dealership was pleasant. The owner of the dealership even picked me up from work when my truck was ready to pick up. Would definitely buy another vehicle here & recommend anyone to shop there! We just our second vehicle, a Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. Gabriel, our salesman, was great to work with & Tony in financing was very polite & efficient! Great dealership to buy from!

I've always have a great experience taking my car to Zimmer. There's a Dodge dealership literally down the street from my house, but I take the extra 20 minute drive to go to Zimmer because of their expert service and facilities and their friendly and professional staff. Their waiting room is modern and comfortable, with vending, television, and charging area. I particularly like that they keep in touch via text message during the visit, so I can always ask for an update without having to hunt someone down. Plus, they have an option to pay via your phone so you can get back on the road faster. My car is always returned to me clean and inspected. I cannot recommend them enough.

Zimmer is amazing! Since the pandemic was going strong I was able to see pretty clearly online everything I needed about the car. The salesman Cameron was great in telling me all I needed over the phone as I was working from home most of the day doing meetings. It was very fast and efficient and I couldn't want anything more from the experience. Highly suggest if you are looking for a new car to look at Zimmer first. They won't disappoint.

Nick was fantastic! He kept us updated on locating a 2021 Jeep Wrangler with the specifications we were looking for. After one was found to be coming in, the status was updated constantly. I bought a brand new Challenger with the Shaker package. It wasn't my first choice financially speaking. My sales rep ( Troy Hoffman) did everything he could to find me something else that I liked. After it was all said and done, Troy went out of his way and got me in the Shaker with a payment I could afford. The entire team was super nice and Troy was fantastic. The team was not pushy. I will be back to see Troy and the Zimmer team going forward for all of my driving needs! ( the wife wants a Jeep!!)

I purchased a Dodge Charger in August of 2015. Falicia was an amazing sales person. Not over bearing and very helpful in finding what I wanted. In July of 2016 I had a flat tire and couldn't get my tires off because I had no key to remove the wheel locks. I called the dealership and couldn't believe that I got a hold of John Zimmer. He apologized and came out to my house on a Sunday afternoon to change out the locks. Now that kind of customer service is rare these days! My husband bought a car in July of 2016 from Kerry Nissan. Decided he didn't like it within 3 weeks. We went back to the dealership to try and trade up. They were not accommodating in any way. Today we went to Zimmer to see if we could strike a deal with them. We left with what we wanted at the payment we wanted. Everyone we've dealt with on both occasions were pleasant and accommodating. We will definitely do business with Zimmer in the future and I would highly recommend this dealership to others.

I live out of the area, but have bought 3 cars from this dealership. Up until recently have had good dealings with the service department. New policy has made me change my mind. If they can not service your vehicle when there is a problem until it is scheduled on their timeline then I no longer need to buy from them. If they can't take care of a customer who lives a distance away but has always done business with them I need to find a new dealership. If you can not take care of your regular customers you have grown to big to give dependable service. I stood by you when you lost your dealership, maybe you should remember that when you start losing customers.

Purchased a 2010 Mustang GT that was a Trade In. Worked with Troy Hoffman. He was pleasant and courteous and followed through with all the things needed to purchase the vehicle. They worked well with coming down on the price of the vehicle. It was cleaned a prepped and all paperwork taken care of. It was a pleasant experience and I would recommend them.

My car stalled out early Saturday morning and ran into a curb.(Which is common for my car after doing some online research) I brought it into the service department and the 1st thing said to me was "We can't get you in today" No concern for my family and I whatsoever! So after being forced into an argument they decide to check my vehicle out. I ask to go home and both employees are tying like preschoolers trying to figure out how to get me a loaner car. After 15mins I tell them to give me my licence,cc and insurance back and not to worry about it.They bring me my car 15 minutes later,say there is nothing wrong with it and expect my family and I to drive it! So fast forward to the sales manager. This is the person that told me just few months prior "If you purchase a new car,you won't have nothing to worry about for years to come." I tell him what's going on while trying to also show him the reviews of other people in the area with the same problem basically tells me the same thing. Nothing wrong with it.It's now Sunday morning I have a brand new car I'm scared to drive anywhere and I just put the plates on 2 week's ago. This is the real Zimmer experience. Buyer beware,they only care about themselves. Hopefully posting this will save someone's life because I know I'm scared for my family and mine..

We did sale contract and got approval on loan. When I went to sign final paperwork they tried to up the price without telling me. Upon asking why wrong price on final documents they stated they misquoted the price. They said price was on different jeep. They called owner and he said no he's not losing 2500 on a car even though there was a sales agreement and papers already sent to loan company on lower price. I left and brought jeep at trusted dealership in Nichlosville ky instead.

Buying a car these days is so much easier than it used to be. We can go on the internet, research different cars, find the best deal then test drive and purchase.. but we do still need that human contact with the "car salesmen". For two ladies, a mother and her daughter, to go car shopping without a man for intimidation or to finagle pricing.. is unheard of.. well that is exactly what we did. We drove to the dealership, knew exactly what we wanted so when we were approached.. we were prepared. Turns out we got the absolute best salesmen we could ask for! My wife had the same car for about 12 years and she was attached to it. We reluctantly decided it was time to start looking for a newer car. This was our first and only stop. From the moment we pulled into the lot we were impressed with the selection as well as with our salesman Aaron Pardue. We knew what car wanted but didn't see the color we wanted right away. And as fate would have it they pulled another one from the back lot for us to test drive and it was the perfect one! We have had bad experiences with other dealers in the area and explained they we didn't want to be fast talked or pressured with hidden add one. They were up front with pricing and even worked with us on the prices of some the options so that we would be satisfied. They gave us top dollar for our trade. We loved the experience so much that we went back a week later and traded in my truck. Same experience. Highly recommended!

This dealership gets my highest marks because they had the good sense to hire Mike Smith (Internet Sales) and Aaron Pardue (Sales Rep). I found a used Jeep at Zimmer by searching the internet. Edmund's was the search service that steered me to Zimmer. I sent an email inquiry to Zimmer on Wednesday evening. I got a return call from Mike Smith within minutes. We negotiated a price and set up a meeting the following day. Mike met me at the door. He introduced me to Aaron Pardue who escorted me to the vehicle which was ready and waiting. Within 15 minutes of entering the dealership I had made my decision to purchase. Aaron got the used car manager to look at my trade in and started the paperwork for the purchase. Aaron took ownership of answering all of my questions. By that I mean if he didn't know the answer he didn't just make something up. He checked with his colleagues at the dealership. After the sale Aaron and Mike both worked with me to successfully resolve some confusion regarding a $200 gas card promotion offered by Edmund's.Bottom line... I highly recommend Mike and Aaron. I look forward to dealing with them again. I would also suggest that the management of Zimmer give these guys some better support. Specifically, speed up the buying process. I spent 3 hours at Zimmer. I knew exactly which vehicle I was looking at (by VIN number), I accepted their first offer for my trade-in, and I paid cash. Why did it take 3 hours? Apparently, there was only one person at the dealership who could take my money and there was a line getting into his office. As long as I'm addressing the management let me suggest that they missed an opportunity to secure me as a customer for their service department. They didn't offer me any incentive to take my Jeep to their service department... no free oil change... no discount on future services. But they did hire Mike and Aaron. For that I will recommend Zimmer to my friends and family.

Troy Hoffman, Tony Frisch and the others at Zimmer could not have been more helpful! We called from Raleigh to inquire about a really sweet Jeep we saw on the internet, and Troy went the extra mile in answering all our questions. Before we knew it, we were headed to Florence to see it (an 8-hour drive)!With their help, we were on our way home the next day, with our new vehicle. They did everything to make the experience not just painless, but enjoyable. The Parts department even helped us pick out Jeep hats and t-shirts!We dealt with many dealerships in the run-up to our meeting the people at Zimmer, and there's no comparison. These guys are fantastic!

Buying cars can be super annoying and more than a hassle. Fortunately, I didn't have those experiences. I mentioned that I wanted to get in and out of the dealership and not spend all day haggling over prices. Overall, I was there about four hours, which, based on my experience, is pretty good. That included the time it took to checkout my trade-in and detail the new car. I think Mike Smith and Tony Fritsch were fair, honest, and upfront on everything and they didn't attempt to get me to buy things I didn't want or need. I would highly recommend them and plan on returning when it's time to purchase a new car.

Purchased a Hellcat Challenger 3 mos ago and the overall experience was excellent. Jeff Henderson was most helpful with the setup and programming of the many menus in the u-connect, SRT drive modes and entertainment systems as well as answering any questions I had about the car. The sale itself with regard to the paperwork and the financing went very smooth and as fast as could be expected. 5 stars isn't enough for my review. Brought my 2012 Jeep Wrangled Sahara in for a warranty door hinge fix. They had the part ready and the paperwork completed before I got there. In addition, I had two more issues I wanted addressed; lights on the power window switches were out and a problem with the gas tank neck which was causing overflow issues. I was expecting these two problems to be taken care of at a later date, but to my surprise they were able to fix the window switch lights today as well. Lee Fogel had a coffee and creamer waiting for me, and he and the owner John Zimmer checked in often to see if I needed anything. If you want personalized service and a team dedicated to earning your trust, you definitely should go see them. Because of the dedicated employees at Zimmer, our family recently purchased a 2015 AEV Jeep Rubicon, and are considering a 2016 Jeep Sarhara Back Country. John will definitely have our business in the future.

I went in several times and had a lot of contact with the staff before eventually purchasing a Ram 1500. Each time I came in, I wasn't pressured into anything and all my questions were answered each time by the time I left. This dealership has a fantastic sales team. I have nothing but good things to say about them. However, the service department is another story! After hearing from a coworker about his bad experience, I thought he might have been the exception to the rule -after all, I had seen all the good online reviews. I have had three interactions with Zimmer's service department and all have been bad. The service reps seem to find working on customer's cars a bother and will find any excuse to not do the job or only do part of it. I am done with this dealership and will drive the additional 20 minutes to get professional service at another dealership. Tim Hicks was the only picture I recognized but he was too busy on his computer to give me the time of day. The "main offender's" photo could not be located.

I sent a message on a Saturday morning asking about a vehicle on their lot. My husband spoke with one gentleman who was not there but he had another gentleman ( Bill Bennett ) call us. The first person I believe was sales manager. Spoke to Mr. Bennett about the vehicle in question. He looked it up to make sure it was still there. It was, so we drove approximately an hour to go see and test drive it. They had it waiting for us when we arrived. Mr. Bennett was very easy to work with. We ended up buying the vehicle and everything went smoothly. Tony Fritsch was very enjoyable to deal with during the paper signing. There was a mark on the side of the vehicle and they buffed it out before we left the lot. Would I go back to this dealership? YES. We will recommend them.

Went to dealer not having any idea what i was looking for. I started in used cars and Bryan walked out to offer assistance. He was very patient as we went thru all the used cars I had questions on. I then changed my mind to go with new car - he was very patient as i questioned all types cars on lots to determine what i wanted. Do not use this dealership!! I could write a book on the incorrect, shady, unprofessional dealings of this dealership but I will only give where my experience stands as of now. We were told multiple times by our sales rep, manager and finance person that they did not need the title on our trade-in because they could order one from the DMV. They even laughed and said to throw it away when we find it. So we did, and waited for them to take care of the new plates on our new vehicle. We get a call out if the blue saying that we needed to complete new paperwork.. What? They also said that they needed the title from our trade-in...What? We explained that we thru it away as instructedt. To make a long, long story short they are refusing to order our new plate on our new vehicle until we provide the title on our trade-in. They are 100% in the wrong and told us that's its OK that we drive with an expired paper plate. If there is a problem have the police officer call zimmer! What? I am in the process of ordering a new title on our trade in but until then they refuse to give a new paper plate or order our permanent plates..... Sound like a company you want to buy from?

purchased used Jeep .2008 Liberty. Had it less than a week when a few warning lights kept coming on. Called to make appointment to have checked. In mean time, while driving down highway at 60 mph, jeep decided to go into low gear. It would not come out of low. Had to tow to Dealer, where they charged me $716.04 for a TIPM card. Extremely unhappy with Zimmer dealership and the I really don"t give a xxxx attitude of the service department.

While traveling home (200 miles from home) we had an alternator go out while traveling down the highway. Roadside assistance towed it to this dealer sunday afternoon. First thing monday morning we called and spoke with the service department and explained our situation. The service department fit us in their busy schedule and had us back on the road shortly after lunch monday. Being a master technician and managing and owning shops myself i know busy things can be. Thanks for getting us back on the road and being so courteous. I highly reccomend you guys !

I have bought several vehicles from this dealership over the years. My last 5 vehicles have been Chrysler products. I recently bought a brand new Ram 1500 Big Horn. I have had nothing but trouble with the vehicle from the window not working to the fuel pump going out and it doesn't even have 4,000 miles on it yet. Things happen and I understand that, however the customer service in the service department is horrible. You have to go to battle with them everytime to get a loaner vehicle while your brand new truck valued at $46,000 sits in the shop. They are less than helpful and to the point of being rude. When you spend this kind of money and the truck is in the shop all the time you would at least expect to get a loaner vehicle, well not so much according to the service person I dealt with. He stated, "I don't think we can do that." Last time I buy from this place again. If you expect to get taken care of by Zimmer Motors when there is a problem I hope you like disappointment.Update:Lee Fogel got a hold of me over my issues. To say he took care of the problem would be an understatement. Mr. Fogel is extremely professional, listened to my concerns, and took care of the problem. Very helpful and customer focused. If I owned a business he would be the first person I would hire. Thank you Lee for all the help and Mrs. Zimmer!

The process for a recall fix on my Dodge Grand Caravan his horrendous. I have been told conflicting answers multiple times to the same questions. I also have been told that I do not know if they have the correct replacement part for the recall until I bring in my vehicle. Shouldn't they be able to tell which part I need by my VIN number? I also have not gotten a response when I entered in a complaint into their website expecting a call back with an explanation.

After a phenomenal experience with the sales team at Zimmer, I would highly recommend this dealership. My story and history with Zimmer goes back a few years, to when Tony Fritch worked in the parts department. My 05 Grand Cherokee starter failed and Tony found a replacement quickly and I was able to install that night. A few months later it failed again and Tony hunted all over KY to find one in stock. He did and by the time I finished work and headed over to Zimmer, he had got it back to the showroom for me. This service was above what I had ever expected. Fast forward a few years and my other 05 Grand Cherokee started to have the same issue. Tony again was able to locate the part and I was back on the road the same day.Shortly after that Tony moved to sales and we bought our Patriot new off the lot (with another sales person). Things didn't go as planned, but, the sales and service departments did everything they could to make things right. So the following year I bought my pre-owned BMW from them. As with all pre-owned cars, there is always the chance of issues and sure enough that night, the water pump failed with no warning (common fault on 335i). Tony drove out to us and waited at the side of the road in 90 degree heat, with the car for over 3 hours for it to be recovered to a specialist shop that deals with BMWs. The water pump was replaced and all was good. This year we bought another pre-owned Grand Cherokee from Zimmer (tony again was our salesman) and my wife fell in love with the car and we have not been disappointed. Its just what she wanted.Now 9 months later, my water pump developed a leak due to a crack in the housing (again fairly common). A quick call to Tony to confirm the shop name and contact and I was able to arrange to drop off my car and have it repaired under warranty. I am so happy that not only Zimmer, but it appears the workshops they partner with, have the highest morals and standards.I would recommend Zimmer CDJR to absolutely everyone

I made an appointment on Friday for 4 tires to be replaced on Monday morning, only 2 were available on arrival. The process took 8 hours. I'm not sure who made my appointment, but why was inventory not verified prior to service? At home, I discovered my spare had just been tossed in the trunk, not replaced in it's well. It was left for me-a 60 year old who had abdominal surgery last month-to do it myself. Not good service on this day.

A few months ago I bought a new Jeep Wrangler from Diane Shelters at Zimmer Chrysler Jeep on Hwy 18 in Florence. I had not bought a car from a dealer in many, many years and was a bit apprehensive at the prospect of the 'haggling' and back and forth with the salesperson. I was so surprised by my interaction with Diane. She was knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. I never felt pressured or that she trying to push me into something other than what I wanted. And we have never been treated in all our years of buying cars ( been driving over 60 yrs ) as well as these folks from the top down have treated us. They assured us that no mater how major or miner a problem that it would be fixed before our ownership took over. And they have done just that. Zimmer is now our Dealer and service when it comes to our cars. And a great follow up was done by letter from Catherine Zimmer. To make a very long story short, my Dad (almost 80 years old) was traveling alone from Michigan to Florida in a brand new Jeep and his car stopped working in Florence, right off of I-75. After being towed to Zimmer Chrysler, I made a few phone calls from Michigan to advocate from my Dad, and Mr. John Zimmer immediately responded to my phone call and met with my Dad as soon as he arrived at the dealership. He, along with his service manager, helped detect the problem and got my Dad back on the road. He called me after my Dad left to let me know he was back on the road and treated me as if I were family. IF I lived a little closer to Kentucky, I would buy ALL my Chrysler/Jeep cars from John Zimmer at Zimmer Chrysler. I was truly overwhelmed by the kindness and A++ customer service and support. I recently purchased a new verhicle from Zimmer Motors. I was very impressed by the response I received after filling out an internet request. A sales rep emailed me back right away (it was around10:00 pm). The next day a saleswoman followed up and the process was started. My sales rep was extremely pleasant to talk to but lacked basic knowledge on the vehicle I was wanting to purchase. I found a vehicle set up the way I wanted sitting on a lot and gave her the VIN so she could see how it was equipped and find me one like it, but that seemed a little challenging. They finally found a vehicle that was satisfactory and were able to get it. It was part of the deal that a gooseneck hitch would be supplied by the dealer because all I do with the truck is haul. That seemed pretty challenging also. I signed papers on the truck on a Friday and picked it up on Saturday afternoon. After arriving to pick the truck up I was informed the hitch wasn't ordered yet to my disappointment. The new truck was of no use to me at that point. I was assured it would be ordered from another dealer or from Chrysler and I'd be called as soon as it came it. That would put it there Monday or Tuesday at the latest (orders arrive next day). I'm still not sure why it wasn't ordered Friday when we completed the business part of the deal. I wasn't called on Monday so I sent an employee of mine there Tuesday morning to pick the parts up, they were wrong. However, it turns out they had the right parts in stock this whole time. That actually didn't make me feel any better. I could have been using my new truck. I understand that to some people these issues seem minor, and I'm sure they are, but my trucks are used solely for towing. Outside of a few minor hiccups, the experience could have abeen a lot worse I'm sure. The facility itself is very acceptable and the overall demeanor of the Zimmer employees seems to be very good. If I had a recommendation it would be to train your sales staff to put the right sales person in front of the customer. P.S. The deciding factor on me purchasing the truck from Zimmer was the fact that before the deal was made I recieived a letter hand signed by John Zimmer that had his cell phone number on the bottom. If a dealer principle cares enough to put a direct contact number out there without making you go through the hoops of calling the office, it shows me he cares about the business his family has built.

After dry runs to other dealers offering cars online which then weren't on the lot when I arrived, I called Zimmer Motors inquiring about one they had online. They immediately followed up, assured me the car was there and it was there when I arrived after a 2 1/2 hour drive to Florence. Bill Bennett was up front, friendly and had all things in readiness when I came, even coming in on his day off to handle things. While we were signing papers on our Caravan, the sales manager called the finance office giving us a decrease in our interest rate! The sales manager also provided us with slush mats for our new Caravan. I am so grateful for the service and care shown to us. By the way, the whole process took less than a hour to complete.

I had been looking for a nice used minivan for a while and found just what I wanted online at Zimmer. I contacted Lee Fogel, as we have known Lee for many years. Lee took his time to show us the van, test drive the van, and explain the entire purchase/trade in process to us. He worked with Diane as our sales person, we all agreed on price, trade in value of our trade and it was by far the easiest purchase of a vehicle we have ever made. We feel we got exactly what we wanted at a fair price, and they have kept their word on getting a minor blemish repaired, the service department was friendly and fast. Took my PT Cruiser to this dealer to have various repairs done. They called me at 10:06 am to let me know there were other problems (figured they started on my car maybe at 9:00am) I told them to fix it. At around 2:15 pm, they called and said my car was done (figured they actually got done around 2:00 pm) If my math is correct, that's a total of about 5 hours they worked on my car. I got charged for 8 hours labor. That's about $300 to much. I think it's sad that just because a book tells you how long it could take is the price I have to pay. What ever happened to the honest mechanic. Not happy about paying for time not worked.Tim Connett

On May 15th, 2014, I took my 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo in for some service. I had a broken passenger mirror, broken ac fan, and an adjustment needed on liftgate glass. 1) They fixed the AC fan as it was a direct replacement part in stock...good. 2) I had broken the liftgate glass, and had it replaced by one of those glass replacement people. Zimmer said they can't adjust glass so that it wouldn't rattle when door is closed. Said I had to scheduled glass people to come out again.All it needed was a couple bolts loosened, and retightened with mirror in right place. 3) The mirror, this is where things get bad. The mirror was broken and flat out needed a replacement. A replacement was ordered, and I was told it was on backorder. It had been 6 weeks when I called earlier this week. They had an arrival date, but no tracking number for Tuesday's delivery. I called today to verify mirror arrived, and it hadn't. But I was once again told, "it should be here tomorrow, but we don't have a tracking number." Issue#1 They put a part on backorder and essentially forgot. Were I to not call, God knows how long I would have to wait for a part that may never arrive. Issue #2 When serviced, they removed a replacement / stick-on mirror I had. They NEVER replaced it so for 6wks I am driving without a passenger mirror. I don't know what bothers me more. Is it the fact they have no concern over something I bought? or is it that they believe sending a customer's car out without a vital piece of safety equipment is acceptable / safe? I'm done waiting. I am done being told, "It's on backorder but we will update you." They won't update me. Heck, I don't know if they even ordered the darn part! Would I recommend this dealer to a friend? Honestly, the Jeep is great, the followup service...definitely leaves something to be desired. So no, I don't think I would based on this experience.

I had my new Chrysler 300 serviced for the 1 free oil change. It was supposed to only take 30 minutes, but it was around 50. I didn't notice until I left, but they had greasy hand-prints all over the door, chrome and handle of my car. I am very picky about my cars, and did not appreciate that they didn't take the time to wipe this off.Also, while we were waiting, they started up a car in the showroom & we had to breath the exhaust. They opened the door ofcourse, but it was cold outside, so it didn't stay open long enough. There were people apologizing for starting the car, but that doesn't do anything for the headache I had.

They performed the work requested (lube, oil, and filter). They advised me that both of the driving lights (fog lights) were out and told me it would be 11.95 per light to replace them, never mentioned anything about labor. I told them no, that the Jeep was not even a year old and had a little over 10,000 miles on it, that I felt Chrysler should replace them. They agreed and scheduled an appointment to replace the fog lamp. I left the dealership and stopped to fill the gas tank. At this time I turned the fog lights on to check them myself because I thought it strange that both lights would be out at the same time. Well, quess what, both lights were working fine. This is my wife's Jeep and I don't drive it all that much except to have it serviced and to put gas in it for her. I left the gas station and returned to the dealership to advise them that the lights were working and to cancel the appointment. This type of service is unacceptable, this could of been someone who didn't know any better and went back to the dealer to have these lights replaced. They told me they were out, so who knows if they would admit to their mistake or charge someone for something that was not needed, let alone wasting mine or someone else's time to go back for something that wasn't needed. Makes me wonder now if they actually changed the oil and filter along with rotating the tires. Probably done with this dealership, will go somewhere else for service and would not recommend Zimmer to any one. This is not the first time I've had problems with Zimmer, but I'm sure it will be the last.

Zimmer Chrysler had our 300C for 30days while doing a 10 day repair after we hit a deer. After we picked the car up we noticed that they put nearly 600 miles on our car while they had it. Ihave placed multiple calls to Rich Zimmer about this issue and he has njot called me back in over a week. These guys are not honest people and I wouldn't trust them.

I brought my jeep in today because the hood wouldn't close and I could not safely drive it. I was told the repair would cost $200 to fix and would take about an hour and a half to repair. I'm self employed so missing work means I don't get paid but need my vehicle to be safe and figured I could still get to work a little late with the time frame they gave me. Four hours later I am told my car is read and I owe $200 but the hood still won't close. Oh yes, I'm getting my car back in the same shape I brought it in and on top of that, just lost $200. Now, I understand they need their money for parts ext., but wouldn't they check the whole thing over before beginning the repair then then let me know if the issue was somewhere other than what was being fixed? That's not what happened and I think either they knew and just went ahead or have the worst mechanics on the planet working there. Either way, it's not a good scenario and it's completely lacking in integrity and good ethics. I got absolutely no understanding or discount for the fact that my car still wasn't repaired and I lost an entire days work today. Good business practice? I think not. If any person working for this company were in the same situation as me they would not be accepting it either. I will be seeking a lawyers help to deal with this situation and the way I was treated today and I will make sure everyone I know is aware of how horrible the business practices are at this dealership. I can only imagine it's just as bad when purchasing a vehicle as well. I'm tired of dealing with businesses that have no caring or compassion about other humans and are only interested in moving people in and out and getting their money no matter how they are treated. Very sad and disappointed. I will be proactive in standing up for my own rights and the rights of others who have probably been treated so unethically and poorly as well.

I went to the service center today to get an oil change. When I came in the last time in August I was informed of a special that included four oil changes and two tire rotations. I thought it was a great deal and decided to purchase it because I had just purchased a new jeep in April. When I went in today I was informed that I did not have any oil changes left. This was incorrect because I had only used one oil change and one tire rotation when I purchased the special. The employee went back and looked up my information and I am assuming he found the information because he did not come back out. When the car was finished the employee informed me that I had two oil changes left. I then asked about the tire rotations and he informed me I did not have any left. I only asked for an oil change today and asked him to go look it back up. We proceeded to the service center and he looked up my information and told me that they had rotated the tires today. I left very frustrated because this was not what I had asked for. I have called and have spoken with a manager who is going to do their best to fix the situation and I am appreciative however, every time I come to the service center I have an issue. This has left me with not wanting to return to this dealership in my future car purchases.

Called to make an appointment to have a diagnostic test ran on my 2001 Chrysler Sebring. Came in last Tuesday at 9:00. Sat there for over 2 hours waiting to find out that they DID NOT have the correct "CARD" to do the test. So without charging me, the service guy said they would try to find the card , we would reschedule an appointment, which we did. So today I showed up at 9:00 am again and this time it took 2 1/2 hours to come out to tell me that they really still did not know what was wrong with my vehicle only that FOR STARTERS I should have my plugs, wires,and a couple other things done that Still didn't guarantee it being fixed! Great, then they wanted to put ONLY factory parts to the tune of $700.00. NO THANKS, I called other dealerships in the Northern KY area and none of them quoted anything near that, next time I WILL do my homework on the place I take my car. And to add salt to injury I had to sit there 40 more minutes so that I could go home.

Rich Zimmer was friendly right from the moment I walked through the doors. I explained the accident and asked for a quote. After I received the quote, I told them I would give them the business after I heard from the other insurance company and about a week later, I called and set up the repairs and two weeks later, I picked up my car and it looked brand spanking new, like when I purchased it. I have brought my car to Zimmer Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram for all aspects of repair and have never been unhappy with the results.

Coming from Michigan, we broke down in Florence on the way to a wonderful houseboat vacation in Cumberland. I left our van with Zimmer and rented another van locally so not to upset our weekend plans. Upon returning, we found out that repairs far exceeded the current value of our old van. I was referred to Bryan Marsh by Leslie Alexander who was more that courteous and extremely helpful upon our arrival. Thank you Leslie for being so friendly and accomodating in keeping our old van over the weekend.As I dealt with Bryan over the course of the next few hours to complete a deal on a new van, he went as far as pulling up a brand new Town & Country and put on a DVD so my 3 girls could watch a movie instead of camping out in the showroom. I recently bought a used vehicle from Zimmer. After driving the vehicle a couple of times it has some obvious issues that should have been addressed by the dealership. When I returned to the dealership they basically told me they were not responsible for any problems even though they told me the car was in excellent condition and was recently driven by one of the owners wives. The vehicle had leaks that would have been an easy fix and I spent $500 on other parts the first week. When I returned they told me they were not familiar with this type of vehicle and had no idea how to do repairs. It was pretty much sorry about your luck and offered no assistance to help. I later found the vehicle may have some serious issues with an air leak in the windshield and they told me to take it somewhere else at my own expense. I would not recommend buying a used car from Zimmer. I hope the new car department is better at customer service and taking care of the customer. Not a good experience at all.

On a recent trip when my daughter was traveling by herself from Nashville to home in Oakville, Ontario on a hot and humid day the transmission light came on in her Caliber. She pulled over and texted me, I googled Dodge Dealerships - Zimmer was approx. 30 miles away. In the meantime I called the service department where spoke with Jason; he said as soon as she arrives they will hook it up to the diagnostics - not to worry he understood what it was like for me being in Canada and potentially having my daughter broken down on the side of the road. I know they had to stay a little after closing and thankfully nothing could be found; he gave her the print-out to show our dealer her and made some recommendations for the remainder of her drive. Happy to say she made it home and the light did not come on again I called Jason the next day to thank him personally and I can tell you first-hand that Customer Service is a priority! After hours of searching the Internet, exchanging e-mails and visiting several dealerships around the Cincinnati area, I've ordered a 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited from Art Gailliot and Zimmer Motors.The Zimmer dealership is not the closest to my home - it's about 20 miles away, in fact. But I chose this dealership because of Art's personal service and because of the initial price Art offered in an e-mail solicitation. My first interaction with Zimmer came via their website. I sent an e-mail via their website inquiring about the availability of a particular Jeep that was listed for sale. Art wrote back and confirmed this particular vehicle was on their lot and available for inspection. A couple days later, I drove to the lot. When I arrived, Art was visiting with another customer. He asked me to wait a few moments. I told him "no hurry" and that I would look at the Wranglers on their lot. A few minutes later, Art said he was still finishing up with the other customer, but he brought me the key to the vehicle I had inquired about. He told me to start it up and check out the interior. He said if he couldn't finish with the other customer in 5 minutes, he would come out and tell me to take the Jeep out for a solo test drive. He came back just a few minutes later, and he was then ready to go. I appreciated the way Art managed this conflict of time. I never felt like I was waiting unnecessarily.Art took me on a very long (25 minute?) test drive. I told him that this vehicle wasn't going to be the perfect match for me, based on its features. But I told him I appreciated his time and his service.A few days later, I decided to order a 2013. I solicited bids from 4 dealerships that I had previously engaged, including Art/Zimmer. The initial response from Art was a couple hundred dollars cheaper than the best of the other bids, so I decided to order from Art. I returned to the dealership a few days later to complete the paperwork needed to generate the order. Art is the primary reason why I bought from Zimmer. He's a professional. He's articulate, knowledgeable, easy-going, not pushy. I highly recommend Art Gailliot. I look forward to completing this transaction when my new Jeep arrives from the factory in a few weeks.

I took my Dodge Nitro in to be serviced because of a grinding noise I was hearing. I was told it was the rear differential. I first had to wait on my warranty people to approve the repairs, and then I had to wait an additional 2 days for the parts to come in. It was in the shop a total of 8 days. I had to rent a car in the meantime. On the way home Saturday, after picking up my vehicle I noticed the brakes were acting funny. Something obviously was not put back together right because it is now sitting in my driveway, with brake fluid all over the place and the brake light glowing on the dash board. The brake pedal goes all the way to the floor. I cannot drive it and the Service dept. is closed on Sunday :( I guess I will hold off on commenting whether I recommend this company or not until I see how they are going to handle this situation.

I came to the dealership looking to test drive a car that I had found online. After speaking to Nicholas Skaats, and advising him of the mileage that I drive per week, he suggested to look at a new vehicle. He explained that a used car warranty would expire in a little over a year with the mileage that I drive. I test drove a 2012 doodge Avenger and fell in love! My purchase process was a great experience, as Steve Snyder carefully explained it all to me. I couldn't beleive that I was able to get a new car !!! I began to have an issue with the car not shifting properly on Sat night/Sun morning after I purchased it. I took it to the dealership to drop it off for service on Sun afternoon. John Zimmer was concerned and immediately got me a rental car to drive while mine was in for service. The service dept was in constant contact with me on Monday and advised the issue had been found and resolved. When I picked it up Monday afternoon, the problem was not corrected. I called Tim and he told me to bring the car back into him and he would get it fixed and back to me ASAP. Tim called on Tue and advised that a part had to be ordered, and the car would be done late Thur/early Fri. I got a call Friday morning advising me that my car was done and that Tim had personally driven the car to make sure that all issues were resolved. My car is now driving perfectly and I love it! I would recommend Zimmer Chrysler to anyone and everyone looking for a great car buying experience! They are very knowledgable about the cars and trucks that they sell... They get to know the person before they try to put them in a car, not just try to make a quick sale

I was involved in a minor accident involving a Deer Hit-and-Run! The deer ran into the side of my car and distroyed my drivers side mirror. I was in a panic as it is so difficult to merge or change lanes without a mirror. I stopped at the Zimmer dealership and attempted to get a replacement mirror. Unfortunately, they did not have one in stock but the order was placed. Dan also went that extra mile and found a temporary mirror that I could use until the new one arrived. I have visited several dealerships in both Kentucky and in southern Ohio during my search for this vehicle. I have found none that showed the care and professionalism that this dealership shown. They definately exceeded my expectations. I was greeted as soon as I entered the dealership and asked what they could help me with. I proceeded to let them know about the vehicle I was looking for. The sales person responded immediately by getting the keys to the inquired vehicle. After looking at the vehicle we returned to the showroom where one of the owners introduced himself and appreciated me for showing interest in their dealership for my vehicle purchase he also gave me a breif history of the dealership. Since this dealership is far from where I live I did not know what to expect from the sales and finance staff but was pleasantly suprised by both. The sales and finance team far exceeded my expectations. Coming from someone who's job is dealing with customer service for over thirty years this team really nailed it. It was well worth the two hour drive to this dealer for the customer service and the deal on my new vehicle. I definately will perchase from this dealer again.

The vehicle I was currently driving required a maintenance repair that was expensive. I had planned on keeping this vehicle for another year or so until I decided on what I wanted to buy. With the current repair and cost I decided it was time to buy instead of putting off. I came from a GM family so naturally I only purchased GM products, well since we no longer were tied to a GM dealership my options were wide open. I had heard of the Zimmer dealership and followed their recent journey of losing their franchise and then fighting to get it back. I knew I wanted to buy local and to be happy not just with my purchase but with the Dealership as a whole. From personal experience I knew that my relationship with the Zimmer dealership would not end just with the purhcase of my vbehicle but carry over into Service, Parts and Body Shop (hope not but). As a consumer I wanted to be familiar with my options and not be talked into buying something I did not want so I did the research. I was more than happy with the treatment I received from salesperson Tony Fritsch, I was amazed. Not only did he know the product but asked me the correct questions to help me decide on the right vehicle. I was not just limited to the vehicles on their lot but once we knew what I wanted (and yes time was important in order to meet deadlines for incentives) and that they did not have it in stock Tony started to search at other Dealers. He communicated to me the progress and once he located the vehicle he made the deal and I was one step closer to owning my first Chrysler. The delivery process was great. Steve took great care of me in finance and explained all that I wanted to know and then Tony went over the options and away I went. The entire process was quick and painless just the way I wanted it to go. I would highly recommend this dealership as they not only care about the customer but also about making you feel confident about the dealership as a whole.

This dealership is AWFUL! We went to their lot looking for a used Jeep. They ended up talking us into looking at a new one. This was fine because it was still within our budget and the rebates and incentives seemed worth it. Well the exact Jeep that we were looking for was not on their lot, so we walked away. Two days later the salesman called and said that he really wanted to work with us and that he was looking at other dealers for the car that we wanted. We thought that this was great, never before has anyone offered to do this. Well it turned out to be not so great...horrible actually. The salesman called said they found the exact car but they would have to get it from Missouri and in order to do so they would need $500 down as sort of collateral, we gave them the money and we were told that we would have our Jeep two days from then, which would've been a Wednesday. Tuesday night the salesman called us saying that they were having problems with the other dealership. He said that the other dealership wasnt as technologically advanced and didnt do anything via internet and fed us some other bullshit! This seemed fishy to me, so I googled the other dealership and found the car that we were supposed to be getting ONLINE and it turned out not to have the features that we were told that it had. So, instead of the salesman telling us that he made a mistake and that the car he found for us wasnt what we wanted, HE LIED and tried to blame it on the other dealer! After finding this out we were ready to go get our money back! We called the Sales Manager who apologized (sort of) and again said that they really wanted to work with us and help us find the car that we wanted. I guess we were SUCKERS and believed him, we were trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. Low and behold two days later, they call us and tell us that the car we wanted!!! The only problem, was that it had a bigger sunroof and was about $400 more. We thought about it for a few hours, then called him back and said we'd take it! He emailed us the figures of exactly what we'd be financing, the exact amount that we would get for our trade, and the amount of incentives that we would get for buying a new car! We were so excited!!! The next day came and went and we never heard from the salesman. So my fiance called him and asked what the deal was, did they get the car? The salesman then goes on to tell us that he can no longer offer us the deal that we had agreed on because Jeep had changed the incentives and they werent as good anymore. The Jeep would actually cost us WAY MORE than what we wanted to pay! WE WERE FURIOUS! We had wasted 2 WEEKS dealing with these people, when we could've been out shopping around. NEVER were we told that this would be a possibility, in fact, throughout the whole process we made sure that we kept asking if the deal still stood as we agreed. THEY KNEW THAT THE INCENTIVES WERE CHANGING 5 DAYS IN ADVANCE AND NEVER TOLD US. THEY WERE AFRAID THAT IF THEY TOLD US THEN WE WOULD TAKE OUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE! DO NOT GO TO ZIMMER!!!! (after we were told that we couldn't get the deal that we had discussed and that was on paper the General Manager contacted us. Do you know what her excuse was? "The salesman" that we had been dealing with was their NEWEST salesman and he doesnt know all the in's and out's of the business yet. CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT???)Thank you ZIMMER for screwing us over!!!
