Dana Wardell helped us. I took my 01 Tahoe in for 80,000 miles maintenance. Along with that I asked about straightening out my front bumper where someone had backed into me. He recommended a third party who was extremely reasonable and that person came to the dealership to bump out the dents in the bumper. I feel like I received his personal attention.

We went into Folsom Chevrolet just to look around. Looking on our own we didn't see what we wanted. Mr. Clay walked out to meet us, we told him what we were looking for, he said give me a minute and he drove up in a truck from the back. We called first to see if you had the vehicle that we were looking at online, it was not available but the salesman we talked with (Butch) said that you had several similar vehicles. we arranged to meet with him the following day and he was very helpful, we chose a 2013 Tahoe and the purchase went very smoothly, we didn't get what we thought we needed for our trade but i guess the consumer is never going to be happy with the dealers offer :) , everyone we spoke with and the entire staff was very pleasant and friendly. We had to return the next day because we hadn't put the new DMV sticker on our trade and we wanted to make sure it got to the right people. Butch and the rest of the staff that we had been dealing with were off that day but again everyone we spoke with was very helpful and friendly. we are both nearly 60 and have purchased many cars over the years from different dealerships and yours was by far the best purchase experience we've ever had. Thank you very much.

I paid cash for a 2008 Mercury Mariner Hybrid from Folsom Chevrolet in December 2013. Roger Kan was the person that did the closing of the deal. None of my purchase was financed, yet a credit report was obtained. I purchased a "select" service plan (24000 miles or 24 months) for a purchase price of $2416, after Roger told me that it would cover anything that went wrong with the car outside of normal wear and tear, with $100 deductible. He said that the select plan would cover the hybrid system. LIES!!! The hybrid batteries are not covered, nor is anything electrical, according to Vehicle One.The dealership also refused to replace my side windows when I discovered serious etching on all of the windows after I washed the car for the first time. I brought it back in to them within 30 days of purchasing the car, and was told that there is no way that I could not have seen the etching before I purchased it, and they would not do anything about it. They said that the etching had to be there for quite a while to be as bad as it was. As with any used car that is purchased from a dealer, my car was detailed when I bought it. I discovered the reason why I did not see the etching was because car wax was applied to the windows to cover the etching up.I have been lied to and ripped off and am pissed. Buyer beware with this dealership!

Still waiting for my second key and key fob that are included in my CERTIFIED used vehicle purchase. I have been extemely happy with Folsom Chevrolet and the service on my vehicles. Jason Rupchock, Service Advisor, has been very helpful and personable. However it took 3 visits, 2 hour drive round trip each time, pulling a car trailer the last time, to come to a remedy of the Integrated Traier Braking System. It turns out that a call to GM probably would have saved these drives and my time waiting. Ths was a littl frustrating. Again, I am happy with the outcome and apprciate Jason.

I dealt with Jason at Folsom Chevrolet's service dept. I had an low oil pressure treading on my 2010 Camaro SS. He was very prompt in getting back to me after diagnosing the problem and had my baby back to me the next day as good as new! It's easy to complain about things but I've always had a great experience with my Tahoe and Corvette at Folsom Chev. I have never had a problem at FC. Well, except when I was charged for something that shouldn't have been charged. But the staff are always kind and courteous, and the mechanics are fast at what they do. I was told 2 hours and it was only 1.25 hrs. Our experience this time was much better than the last time. We had a problem with our fuel tank. The car would stall when we filled it up. It didn't do that before we had the other fuel tank recall issues fixed. We had been told it was a separate issue and would cost $600.00 to fix. So after an oil change, checking out the fuel tank and checking for an oil leak it costs us 154.00 with a $20.00 coupon. The cost of the repairs were out of our budget. I sent my survey in saying how I couldn't believe the two fuel tank issues were not related since it did not die on us before the recall was fixed. I also said how unhappy I was about the situation especially since we purchased the car at that dealer 2 years ago. The next week we got a call saying they would go ahead and repair the fuel tank problem for 150.00 dollars. Since we had already paid 150.00 previously we decided to go ahead. It was 1/2 the cost of the original quote. The service this time was great. Thank you for listening to our surveys.

The service staff at Folsom Chevy is always top notch and they go out of their way to make sure the customer is happy.However, I do have a general complaint re: the overall "refreshed" look of the Chevrolet dealerships. The service counters are too high. They are not comfortable for the customer and have a foreboding look to them (i.e., they are not friendly/inviting from the customer's perspective and the height makes it difficult to work with the service reps ... signing documents at a high height is difficult, as is shaking hands at the end of a transaction). I understanding branding and wanting GM facilities to have the same look and feel regardless of location. But the remodeling was not viewed from the customer's perspective for comfort, feeling at ease, etc. They gray color scheme is rather dull and too close to the color of detention facilities, and painting anything in or around the service area white ensures your painting crew will always have a job.

I came into Folsom Chevrolet and test drove a used 2010 Camaro SS with Juan and told him my situation. He was humble and easy to deal with and understood what I was looking for and wasn't trying to push my timeline up to better suit HIS needs. I told him exactly what I was looking for in a Camaro and requested that he contact me when one matching my specs came into stock, which he did and continued to do so (at my request) in the following months. Finally, Volkswagen agreed to repurchase my Passat and my attorney advised me that now was the time to buy a new car if theone I wanted was there, so I did! Charles did a great job working the numbers and getting me a price I was comfortable with, Juan did a great job in facilitating the deal and Roger was an absolute STUD on the paperwork...I've never seen a finance guy shuffle paper like that, very impressive (and this is my 5th new car purchase, from 4 different dealerships) - he even tried to help us decide which local restaurant would be best, since my wife and I were starving when the deal was done. Overall, I had a great experience and would absolutely feel comfortable recommending all three of the guys that helped put my purchase together!

We went in there as cash buyers but they insisted on us completing a credit application with information not needed for a cash purchase. In retrospect I found this to be a sneaky way to glean info about my wife and I that had nothing to do with our planned purchase. First, I should have said "no" to the credit app, my bad. Once they knew my income they took a hard line on the price negotiations. How much you make for a living should not factor in to the price you pay for a car, but I guess with this dealer it does. I wanted the car so tolerated the process, but it will be a long time before I go back to this dealership again, if ever.

I dropped an email mid-week letting Dana know that I wanted to swing by and discuss some numbers to see what my payment would be like with a trade in appraisal and financing from 60-84 month options. I came by, got a some solid number with no fooling around and made the deal right there. I liked the fact that I walked in checked out the car, came back, and the sealed the deal. I did not have 20 phone calls to my house asking about my interest, or anyone trying to hard sell me a deal on something else. I would buy from them again, and I would definitely work with Dana as a sales consultant as well.

Kelly made my car buying experience very fun and enjoyable. The process to buy a car can be long and not for one minute was I bored. He made sure I was comfortable and was very entertained. My partner called the previous day and spoke with Dana who answered all of his questions about the specific vehicle that he saw on the dealer's website. When we arrived at the dealership we were greeted right away by Kelly and explained the exact car we were interested in seeing. Kelly took us to the car see and was very patient in answering our questions. Brad treated us with a lot of respect during the negotiations and did everything he could to meet our demands. We purchased a Traverse here in the beginning of the month. We had a great experience and got a very fair deal. We came back 3 weeks later and yesterday purchased an Avalanch from Christina. She was super friendly and knowledgeable. We didn't get "the runaround" with making the trade-in and deal. My Husband has years of car sales experience and we felt they were honest with negotiations. Roger and Dave in Finance were both awesome. They got us the lowest rate possible and were both friendly and very efficient. Of course the process was very long but it was due to the banks and Roger and Dave on the phone working for us to get good rates, etc. We would recommend this dealership and sales team to anyone looking to purchase a new or used car. Experience has been good overall with my Chevy Camaro 2SS. However I paid $180 to have my after market exhaust tips re-aligned because they were almost touching the rear back paneling. The alignment ended up worse than when I came in, so I still paid the $180 but got underneath the car and did it myself. A few months later, I came in for an oil change and heard clunking sounds from the suspension. I was charged $60 to have someone look at it but not do anything. I was told afterward these charges were because of the aftermarket lowering kit I have. While I understand and respect that, I think it would be fair to know the charges upfront before I'm at the cashier's counter. Honestly, I would of just taken it to a muffler shop for the exhaust and suspension shop for the clunking sound and used my money there. I bought a high performance muscle car. Chevy knows and expects the majority of customers do light modifications. My modifications have not even voided warranty.

Ed was fantastic to work with! He listened to what we wanted and didn't try and convince us into a car that wouldn't work for us. We told him what we were looking for and our price range and he took us to the perfect car which we ended up purchasing. He wasn't pushy and he let us take our time and look at everything. Charles was also fantastic to work with and was able to make the numbers work. I'm very glad that we ended up purchasing from this dealership. When we were all done they helped us unload our old car into the new one and even took off my license plate cover from my old car, washed it, and installed it on my new one. I'm a very happy customer!

Daniel was very helpful in trying to help get the best price for me and the dealership. After we agreed on the price he did a great job of explaining the working of the car. The one thing he did not explain was how the gas gauge on the HHR shows empty at the bottom of the gauge and this was the 1st time I have purchased a car without dealer putting gas in it at delivery. When I realized that, I became worried about running out before I found a station. But not to worry I had an enjoyable experience with all that helped me. Thanks again Vic

Charlie was the first person we spoke to and he was very attentive to our needs and our sensitivities to certain options and overall payment. Nick was a great steward showing us the various features of the vehicle, without overselling. He was converstional, explained the process in detail so our expectations were set appropriately, and was nice and entertaining to our daughter who was with us during the purchase. While the process is lengthy, and is expected, the end result was very close to our ideal situation. We ended up with payment close to where we wanted to be, and a car that surpased our expectations. Nick and Charlie were great!

We were driving around and decided to run by the Chevrolet Dealer to check out the Tahoes in stock. We loved our Escalade but it was a 2004 and we wanted to get something newer. When we pulled in Timothy came out to greet us with a big smile. He showed us around and my husband became interested in the 2012 Tahoe we purchased. Bill told Timothy he did not like playing games and being passed from sales person to sales person for pressure. Tim said no problem, let me see what I can do to help you guys get the price you need. Then bought us a cup of coffee and within a couple of hours we purchased the Tahoe and cleaned out the Escalade. The problem was I did not have a check book with me so Timothy came home with us and picked up the check. A few days later we stopped in to see if there was a second key to the car. There wasn't so Timothy took our key and had us a spare made. All the people at Folsom Chevrolet have been so nice to us, it feels like we have a second family. Thank you Folsom Chevrolet.

My wife, Janice, and I have been thinking about replacing our Tacoma pickup and Mustang with one vehicle that would better serve our needs of transporting two large dogs. We live in Elk Grove and just happened to be in Folsom today for other reasons and decided to drive through the auto mall. When we pulled in to your lot we were not sure what we wanted. Nick came over and we started talking about our needs. Being a dog owner and lover himself we immediately felt at ease with him. We were looking at Subaru Forester and I just out of curiosity started to look at the HHR. With Nick's knowledgeable comments about the car and our 120 lb. Pyrenese Mountain Dog hopping right in we were sold. Nick did an excellent job for us. The Tacoma was taken in at your dealership and Nick road to Elk Grove with us and the dogs to pick up the Mustang. The other members of your team also did a fine job. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. All and all it was a good experience.

Talk about the old bait and switch, this is all one will get dealing with this dealer. Came in on a sale for a 09 Silverado, sales priced at $33,000. They tried to sell it for 38,000. Never again will I buy a Chevy and never again will I shop at Folsom Cheverlet. I plan on writing a letter to GM to explain what a disservice this dealership is doing to the Chevy name.

This is my fifth purchase from Folsom Chevrolet and my 3rd one dealing with marty neefe. Marty has always gone the extra ten miles to help including working way past his schedule helping with sound choices being understanding of his clients hectic work schedules and life. I live 120 miles away and have determined it is worth the extra drive to get a good car at a great price with friendly knowledgeable service. Oscar also provided extra help in deciding on a tough decision in making our most recent purchase. I really appreciate Marty doing what he did Ans also Roger in great work getting the paperwork done fast as it was so late. There is a reason this is the fifth time and why I have stuck with Marty in helping find a vehicle. Last Sunday, in the early morning, I made an inquiry to about 6 sources, as I was looking for a decent used Jeep Wrangler. Folsom was one of the first to get back and I must say, Sean Sullivan was so relevant in how he dealt with me. Rather than try to push me in to a sale, he made sure to discover what I was looking for and that his car fit my needs. In short order, we not only determined this was the right vehicle, but I had an approved loan and appointment to come out.DId I mention this dealership is about two hours from my home in Paradise? To make a long story short, I arrived at the dealer around 5:00 (remember this is Sunday night), test drove the car and within an hour or so had the keys. The only negative that night was the finance person was too aggressive for my taste in pushing the extra products on me. No reflection on the rest of the experience and not anything I could not deal with.So here is the kicker. I had no way to get a ride up, so Sean and an employee followed me the two hours to Paradise, waited while I stopped in Marysville to buy Jim Boy tacos for my son at home and we arrived at my house at almost 9:00 P.M. Of course they had to drive back again.Above and beyond and I will certainly speak highly of and recommend Sean Sullivan and Folsom Chevrolet to anyone who will listen.

Marshall and Drew went the distance to locate the car we were looking for - a 2012 100th Anniversary Corevette Z06 - loaded. We purchased a used car from out of state. Charles was very helpful throughout the entire process. He met us with the car in Reno and even picked us up from the airport. Overall we were very pleased with Mr. Russo. Prior to flying from Dallas to Reno we specifically told Charles that we would like the car cleaned and FULLY detailed upon delivery. This typicaly is an ammenity that would be done even without spoken instruction. Yet, I chose to make sure I was clear in getting this one detial done for my wife. She is VERY meticulous and expects the best from everyone she deals with. The car exterior was washed but the inside was dusty and the seats were dingy. My wife has since spent $130 having the car properly cleaned. Which I will be hearing about for years to come. Thanks!

Mr. Russo was very professional he listened to my needs and worked with me to find acar that would meet my needs. He understood that I needed a car that my disabled mom would be able to get into without much effort and he listened when I told him what I could afford. He didnt pressure me to buy just showed me cars and let me decide which car would work for me. He impressed me in the fact that the next day when the car I picked out was ready that he drove the car to my home so that my mom could try to get in and out so that I would know if the car would work for me. I would tell anyone who is looking for a car to go to Folsom Lake Chev and to ask for Mr. Russo. I am sure the other salesmen would be just as nice and professional as Mr. Russo but I know that if any of my family needed a car they would not deal with anyone else but Mr. Russo. The whole process in buying my car at Folsom Lake Chev went very smooth no pressure from any of the employees. If I ever have to buy another car I would go back to this dealership.

I was very impressed with the knowledge and friendliness of the Folsom Chevrolet staff. My dealer, Christina Lund, was excellent. She was knowledgeable and honest. She didn't give me the salesman runaround that most car sales people do. She answered my questions directly and didn't try to give me evasive answers in order to further her sales pitch. Her boss, I don't remember his name, was also friendly and had a great sense of humor. I didn't even try to negotiate on price because I'm told that the profit from Chevy Volts is very low for the dealers but I would have liked to at least get a couple of parts thrown in for free. I did after all just drop 45K on this purchase. He wasn't willing to give me even one item. Not even a $60 cargo net. He did, however give me $40 off any future purchases from the parts department. This did not, however, come off of the items that I bought immediately. Perhaps their profit margin is just that tight. I only know that a $60 cargo net could have gone a long way towards making me feel a little more valued.Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase and would still recommend this dealer to others.

My wife and I have been going to Folsom Chevrolet for virtually every automotive need for the past 15 years. Last month, my '96 Silverado was totaled in a bad accident and my daughter and I walked way without so much as a scratch. Obviously this created a need for a new vehicle and I never even considered a single dealer other than Folsom Chevrolet. For the second time we worked with Sean Sullivan to choose a vehicle, and every minute I was with him reminded me of why I love Folsom Chevy. Sean's quiet, affable manner really lets me shop for a vehicle, and ask tons of questions. There is NEVER any pressure, and that alone is enough to keep me coming back. High marks for all the other folks I've worked with over the years as well. Especially Sandy Smith who is our go to guy for vehicle repairs. Sandy always makes us feel like family when we come in. He is honest and straight-shooting which are qualities I like in my vehicle repair CSR. Folsom Chevrolet is second to none in service and very competitive on price. Keep up the great work.

This was our 3rd or 4th visit to the dealership. My son has been looking for a Camaro for quite a while now. Each time we visited we spoke with Brian Powers and he was so friendly and understanding. My son finally saved up enough money to purchase his first car, it was very exciting! We had the car already picked out from the website which made things go a little easier. Everyone was so excited for him and even waved as we pulled out of the dealership. We are looking forward to our next purchase at this dealership. Would definitely recommend!

I searched auto trader for a used impala with low miles. The impala I found at Folsom looked to be a very good deal. I called and talked to Marty and he was more than helpful. I met with Marty at a set time the following morning. I knew I was making the purchase as soon as I saw the vehicle in person. At that point I wanted to get it done and get out. Marty and the staff was very fast, helpful and informative. Folsom gave me a better deal than my bank on financing. I absolutely hate buying vehicles, but Folsom Chevrolet made this transaction pleasant.

I contacted Folsom Chevy and from the very first phone call talking with Mike/Sales Manager I was treated with respect and great customer service, which I then made several additional calls talking with Sean Sullivan / Sales Rep. which was great suppling me with photo's and information on this truck since I was unable to view giving the distance from San Diego to Folsom, after agreeing to a purchase price provided by Scott/Sales Manager, I agreed to put a deposit down on this truck.Then I booked a flight to Sacramento, CA. which Sean the sale rep. pick me up at the airport, and then after arriving at the dealship I was greeted with outstanding customer service, I'm 51 years young and I have never received such great customer service while purchasing a vehicle. Roger in Finanace made the paperwork process quick and simple since I had to get on the road and drive back to San Diego that morining.I can say that upon returning back to San Diego I have told many family members, friends and co-workers of my outstanding experence at Folsom Chevy.Thank you, Scott Fuller a very happy customer!

We drove for a few hours to find the vehicle and the price we wanted. We were not sure what to expect when we arrived because this was our first experience with this dealership. We were met by a friendly young man named Drew who quickly should us to the vehicle we had came to look at. After test driving the vehicle we began to talk numbers and the experience was friendly and to the point which was nice. After we agreed on a price we worked with Becky who was able to get us a better finance rate than my credit union. Overall we are very satisfied with our purchase.

Carl K Ogren was the salesman I worked with for this purchase. He helped me via the internet, phone, and at the dealership. Carl was friendly without being overbearing, knowledgeable about the various automobiles, and when he was not sure of an answer to a question, said so (Very much appreciated by me). The sales manager was helpful and seemed earnest in trying to get me into a vehicle not only that I liked but, could afford. Everyone I came in contact with at Folsom Chevrolet was not only professional but, added the "human" touch-- made me laugh, talked with my bored teenage son and, went just a little above the call of duty to make this purchase less painful.

I was so impressed with this place! My husband and I made bad choices when we were younger and have pretty poor credit. We needed a new car though and after stopping by "buy here pay here" places we decided we didn't feel safe buying there and paying there! I'm so glad we found Folsom Chevy. We found the perfect car (looooove it), were treated with kindness and respect, and actually had fun at what is usually a stressful experience. Firstly, Drew (the owners son) was so down to earth and friendly. Easy to get along with. Sure he probably gets a lot of flack (jokingly) from the other guys for being the owners son, but I don't care, he was super fun to work with. Secondly, we knew with our bad credit we would have a high interest rate from the bank. It is what it is and we were willing to bite the bullet. This is our fault, not the dealerships. But two days later, Becky in financing called and said she found us a better rate that would knock off a year from our loan term and reduce our monthly payments. What? Really? I was in disbelief. Low and behold, she really did get us 7% lower. She was very thorough in explaining the details which was important to us since we actually had been scammed before. I couldn't be more grateful!! Also she was the sweetest lady, we really felt like we got to know her, she even gave me her web address for her blog. I thought that was too cute. When we came back to sign for our new (better) loan terms, we were immediately recognized and greeted with enthusiasm. They even looked in the back of the car to check out our freshly installed car seats :) If you're in the market for a car, check them out!

I would recommend this dealership however not the salesman. Once the deal was made on the vehicle and upon completion of finance I felt we were rushed out , there was no explaninaton on the features of the vehicle execpt to push the button to connect me with ONSTAR. I drove the vehicle off the lot and before I could even reach my home had to stop to purchase gasoline. I have never in all the vehicles I have purchased left a car lot and had to stop for fuel on my way home. With the vehicles I have purchased in the past go in for the detail while we are in financethe car is cleaned up and fueled. You would think after spending 20 plus thousand dollars a tank of gas could be given or at least enough that stopping on the way home was not necessary. I enjoyed the manager and he was extremely helpful asked me what I could give the gentleman came back with an offer right away that we acepted. It was very haggle free.

I recently bought my used car at the Folsom Chevy dealership in Folsom, CA. I was VERY happy with the service, the way I was treated, the information I was given and the overall experience I had with the salesman, Dave Somberg. I don't know about the rest of the staff because I did not deal with them, but Dave Somberg (Sales) and Roger Kan(in Finance)were awesome and they bent over backwards to get me a smoking deal and to make me feel confident and comfortable in the process. As a woman, it was nice to not be treated like an idiot, which is often what happens in this situation. I would recommend this dealership to ANYONE and have already referred a few people in their direction. I will go to them for future car purchases.

The purchase of our new Cruze was very simple and the team at Folsom Chevrolet was a pleasure to work with. I originally found the car on-line and then contacted Sean Sullivan to work out a fair price. Sean replied to all of my e-mail questions very promptly and thoroughly. I arranged to drop by the dealer at 5:30pm to finalize the deal. Sean had the car waiting for me at the front door all cleaned up ready for inspection and a test drive. After the test drive, we finalized the deal we had worked out on-line. I then worked with Becky O'Leary (also very competent, efficient, and friendly) to make the purchase. Within an hour and a half after arriving at the dealer I was driving home in the new car. Again, the purchase was a very simple with no surprises.

All of the employees smiled and addressed us when we moved around the store. They came up to my wife and I and congratulated us on the purchase.The salesman (David) went out of his way to get us into the right vehicle and he had been in contact with me for over a year. The sales manager worked with us on comming up with a price I was willing to pay and was willing to be as flexable as he could. Roger in finance new we were on a time line and did all he could to expedite the necessary paperwork. The store is very clean and neat and I certainly did not feel any pressure to buy a vehicle at any time. To top all of this off, I was happy to find out that this store is independently owned and not managed buy a large corporation. The employees seem to enjoy working for the owners.

I've been going to Folsom chevy since I was old enough to buy cars. If I didn't purchase a car from them you can bet my vehicles were going to get serviced there. My recent business with the dealership was to say the least better than my expectations. I went to look at a used 2011 Suburban. They were honest with me about the stance of the dealership in a potential trade, made concessions when and where possible and made the experience pleasant. I've bought cars in the past where I'd be at the place for 6+ hours haggling, this wasn't the case with Folsom Chevy. The sales Associate Sean Sullivan was professional and available to answer questions when asked. When pointed out there was a minor issue on the vehicle he and staff had it taken care of. Lastly, when i went back to make the purchase I immediately noticed something was changed on the vehicle (for the better). Once I got home I wanted to confirm something indeed cosmetic did change. I was able to confirm that the pictures posted (and my memory of my first test drive) vs what i purchased were indeed different, same vehicle though. The handles on all 4 doors and the grill were upgrade to chrome. Pretty nice upgrade for not even asking for it! Would recommend this for anyone interested in new or used.. The resale certified warranty makes it worth it in itself.

If you are looking for a car; do yourself a favor and ask for SEAN SULLIVAN. He is the bomb-digitity. - My husband and I had been searching on and off for an economy car for communing for just about 9 months; one that would offer us mileage and a few bells. We visited several dealerships in and out of our area, but always left without a vehicle for one reason or another; availability of a model, price, or lack of trust from the sales team in one way or another. Our purchase of a Chevy Cruse this last weekend was a huge leap of faith. Sean actually provided me with more than a great car and buying experience, but managed to restore some of my faith in people. You see we bought our car via a few phone calls and online photos. I did an internet search and when Folsom Chevrolet popped, I called and met Sean; what followed was truly amazing. He worked numbers and he kept in contact, I filled out an online application and other than a question or two from the finance manager I never spoke with anyone else. I think some of you will agree that anytime additional salesmen or managers get involved I cant help but feel that the dealership does not trust their own employees. We wrapped the deal in about two hours; only to realize that 400 mile separated us. Sight unseen with no exchange of money Sean drove 4 hours and 45 minutes (one way) and we drove 2 hour and 30 minutes (one way). We met In a Dennys on a Sunday at 9:30 pm and signed the paperwork. On the drive over I worried we were trusting someone we never met to buy a car we never tested to drive on a Sunday night to meet in a location that neither of us had ever been to buy a car.. I poned his trust in us...as he was driving such a great distance. Either one of us could have caved at anytime. The car was great we were pleasantly surprised; Sean was very straight forward and knowledgethe dealership had invested many upgrades in the car and we benefited. I cannot say thank you enough to Sean and Becky for a great buying experience and the good feeling that came from the whole experience. Upon arriving, I was greeted promptly but felt no pressure to have a salesperson with me while I looked. We sort of knew what we wanted but still wanted to check other makes and models. When we got to the point where we needed answers, Paul was right there. Paul explained that he was fairly new, so he introduced us to a very experienced sales person(I can't remember his, and I don't know why). We came back a few different times, and Paul was always there to assist. I like how they broke down the price showing what exactly we are paying for. They were very clear that they wanted our business, but we never felt any pressure to buy at any time. When it came to financing, the process was smooth with no unexpected surprises. I will definitely go back, because the staff at Folsom Chevrolet are friendly but not patronizing or phony.

When I first visited Folsom Chevy, Brian was very easy to talk to, too all the info on what I was looking for in a vehicle and I Aldo told him I would give him a call when I was ready to look more into buying a car. He respected that and waited for my call. A couple days later I told him I was ready and gave home some more information. That is when he promptly responded with information about vehicles available, financing questions and other concerns I had. He was very easy to talk to, stayed in contact with me and kept me informed of the status of the car purchase. When the car was delivered to the dealer, Brian informed me and held the car a full day until I could meet him there. Marty then finished the deal by conducting a test drive, going over the financial part of the purchase and easing my mind while we waited for the deal to close. The entire experience was the best car buying experience I have ever participated in. Everyone was considerate and not pushy (like traditional car salesmen).

I have dealt with this dealer since I bought this car new from him with one exception when GM sent me to another dealer. I was so disgusted with the attitude of the other dealer that I left before I finished my business and never went back.I met Ron Rosseut when he was working nights around 2003 and was impressed, but did not work with him again until he was assigned to the day shift. I have used him as my primary service consultant ever since. Ron has a friendly outgoing way that makes me comfortable. I believe Ron goes the extra step in seeing that my experience at Folsom Lake Chev. is a positive one. I am one of those people who get very upset the minute I set foot on a car lot. In the past my experiences have been bad. The greeters act like I am stupid, will not listen to what I say, expect me to sit still while the different sales personal run roughshod over me. This also been my experience in shops and parts dept.Folsom Lake Chev. has been a breath of fresh air. It's people set a high standard. I and others whom I have talked to have come accustom to this treatment.

On March 2, 2011, I scheduled an appointment with Ron to have a diagnostic done on my 2001 chevy camaro Z28. I brought the car in and Ron requested I leave the vehicle overnight in order to hear what the engine sounded like when first started because he couldn't hear any noises coming from the engine. When I contacted him the following morning he said my engine was totaled and I needed $6,000 for a new LS1 engine. He said he could hear two rods knocking due to neglect by not having enough oil in the car. I told him 'I HAVE ALWAYS HAD THE OIL CHANGED, THAT THE ENGINE HAS NEVER KNOCKED, IN FACT, IT ONLY HAD 77,000 MILES AND I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH IT. He said you will either have to pay $6,000 or $40,000 for a new car. I asked how long would I be able to drive the car, he said it could blow at any time and to leave the car with him and he will see if he could find a used engine. I became very upset stating I am disabled and on a fixed income and couldn't possibly come up with that kind of money. I decided to pick the car up. When Ron walked me back to the cashier, he told the cashier "She blew up her engine and now she wants to just take it home". I couldn't believe my ears when they brought the car to me. It was knocking so loud, there was metal scraping noises from under the car when I tried to turn the steering wheel. I asked what did they do to my engine!!! Ron didn't respond. I said I would have to have it towed, and Ron said "you might as well drive it, it can't get any worse".I would appreciate it if you could have my engine fixed/use another repairer to fix the problem within 30 days. I rely on my car for transport and apart from the inconvenience, this problem has also caused me to incur additional costs i.e. towing and rental car expenses (I have receipts).The reason for the negative ratings I have given this dealership is my deceased father bought his Silverado Truck at Folsom Chevy and he used to always have it serviced at Folsom Chevy. If he were alive, he would be so disappointed on how I've been treated and how much the professionalism, concern for the customer and the treatment of the customer's vehicles has declined.

I was truly impressed by the professionalism, courtesy of Isaiah Patterson, David Shirley and Becky O'Leary. On my test drive Isaiah was very informative and knowledgeable about the vehicle. Came in on a Saturday for a test drive. Staff was friendly even though it was late. Worked with Dave who was both friendly and knowledgeable. Called Monday with an offer. Dave worked with me as much as he could over the phone since I live an hour away from Folsom. We reachied an agreement! Hooray! I told him I couldn't make it down till later that evening. Even though he got off at 2 pm, he still DROVE BACK to the dealership and was waiting for us. After going over some of the paperwork with Dave, we worked with Becky O'Leary. She beamed a radiant smile that was so genuine you knew only the truth was passing through her mouth. I personally felt like she had our best interest at heart. After we finished all the legal paper work, I didn't feel like I was promising my first born. I felt happy! Even though it was around 8:30 pm Dave was STILL waiting to help get me acquianted with my new car. Sean gave me a test drive, even let me use one of your manual SS camaros (the used ones were autos). I placed the order and the car showed up 5 weeks later (that's faster than most I've seen). I felt connected throughout the entire order (thanks to gmconnects.com) and the car was delivered as promised. Overall, very well done folsom Chevy.On the other hand, this dealerrater.com is TERRIBLE! Folsom chevy would do better to make their own system. My Fiance and I came in right at closing time on 2/16/11, only expecting to look at vehicle rather than go out on a full test drive. We saw a Tahoe that we liked and asked Jake if we could take a closer look. We asked him if we were keeping him from closing and he assured us that we had all the time we needed. He took us for a test drive and was very personable throughout the whole process, answering our questions, telling us about himself and never once did we feel like he was a salesman. Once we got back, we went to talk numbers with Oscar. He was also very personable. He helped walk us through the numbers, worked with us on a price for the car and also my trade-in, to make sure the price worked for us. During the process, we did never felt pressured, we felt that he was being open and honest about everything he was saying.Then comes Roger, the most organized person we have ever met! Even though Roger was working well into his 15th hour of the day, he was very pleasant and happy to be working with us! Roger worked very quickly making the long contract process as short as possible, while still managing to carry on a conversation with us and getting to know us a little bit. Roger was very honest and open when presenting everything to us, which made this part of the process a breeze.All three of them were there until we left (just before midnight). The whole time we were all talking and joking, with us and with each other. The whole process was extremely pleasant for us, talked business when it was needed, and had friendly conversations the rest of the time. Since the sale, I have spoken with Roger and Jake over the phone. They called to follow up with me and make sure we got all the accessories that came with our Tahoe!People always dread car dealerships due to the "pressure" put onto customers by everyone, at Folsom Chevrolet we can actually say we were not pressured at all and had a great experience buying our new SUV!

I have purchased 2 trucks and 2 cars from them, 2-3 yrs ago I loved this dealership. As time has progressed ive noticed many changes in there workmanship. I took my 09 Silverado in because the gauges were acting up... when I got my truck back there were broken pieces of plastic all over the cab. I told the service kid to clean it, they did. I get home and noticed my center consul has a crack in it! GREAT! Ron orders me a new one.. got it in and no apology. I let it go, needless to say I wish I didnt. I took my 02 in to get the belts changed.. I just bought a brand new K&N intake filter (the cone) and when I get my truck back I look it over at the shop. My chrome intake was scratched and the cone mesh was dented like all hell! looks like the tech was putting it back on and the screwdriver slipped and hit it. I blew up, and Ron went to talk to the tech and he said he didnt do it. I call the top guy JOE SCHAFFER and what a joke he is. GREAT customer service let me tell ya!! NOT! he told me he is going to get this taken care of and be fixed. Three weeks later, still no word. I will never ever EVER go back to Folsom Chevy, they do not respect other peoples vehicles. Prior to visiting Folsom Chevrolet, my girlfriend and I had visited several dealerships in the last month. Sorry to say I felt I had pretty much wasted my time with them. I have purchased several vehicles in my time and before going to the dealer I already have an idea what I want how much Im willing to spend. Well we were on our way to the Honda dealership to lease a Honda civic for my girlfriend. They have a great deal going on right now so it was perfect timing and the price was right. Anyway I suggested we stop by the other dealership to see if they had any specials going on. Well we stopped by the Nissan place first looked around but no one came out to help us for a few minutes and when someone did come out they didnt know much about the lease program and proceeded to show me a list of vehicles with lease prices. I was like Wow Okay I looked at my girl and said lets go. Well the Chevrolet dealer was right across the street so we decide to stop maybe we would be greeted a little better. As soon as we drove up David Somberg came out to greet us immediately asked us what we looking for, I told him what we were looking for and the price range. No pressure, no one trying to sell us a car that was too pricey. I told my girl this is much more like it, nice guy and he knows his stuff. I'd like to commend David for his professionalism, knowledge and skill. Took his time going over all information, there was never any rush and he made sure we understood everything. He is definitely a people person and his company should be proud to have him as part of their team. I kind of wish I knew someone that was looking to purchase a vehicle I would most definitely send them his way. This man sets the standard and is absolutely superior in his job. I wanted to purchase a new or demo automobile for my wife's birthday, but was dreading having to wade through the normal school of sharks waiting at the entrance of most dealerships. I used the internet contact at Folsom Chevlolet and received a very courteous film clip responce from Steve Rector who invited me to come in and check out the car I was most interested. I did stop in a couple days later and although Steve was not in the store, I was helped by a very friendly Sean Sullivan. Althrough I quickly determined that the car I had in mind for my wife would not be very practical as we often have need for 4 wheel drive to get around. Sean showed me more practable models that I was not even aware existed, but fit her needs. I brought the wife in the following day, and of course she she fell in love with the car. No, the best part is yet to come. The process of obtaining a fair trade in and bottom line figure took less than 30 minutes. There were no hassels, no going back and forth to managers, no high pressure sale pitches. It was an honest here's what we can do, does this meet your needs? Wow!!! Then came the paper work and financing. Becky handled this extreamly professionally explaining all our options. Best of all she even got us a lower interest rate than expected. What a trooper. As soon as we pulled up he greeted us, had the Equinox ready to show and test drive. Knew what I wanted so in we go for the dreaded negotiating. However it wasn't that way at all! No hassle really! Made Matt aware of all my terms. Oscar came back and after a small snag in my credit report (which they let me straighten out) he made it happen. Danniel was a very pleasant and knowledgeable sales person. He did all that could be expected. I had a concern with a safety item which the sales staff was un-willing to fix until a week later and proof from 2 independent shops confirmed my concern. It took 2 extra hour long trips to their dealership for the service writer to actually take the care and concern that should have been handled prior to the car being put on the lot for sale. Ultimately they came through, but the customer should not have had to put so much effort in to it. Thanks to daniel and the service writer.

Started off on Friday 01 Oct with Fred who showed me the Equinox. Told him I'd get back to him. Went by Sunday 03 Oct and talked to David who showed me the Traverse. My wife was impressed. Went inside to get a brochure, met Mike who told me "they" don't print brochures any more. Asked what I was looking for and told him my wife and I were impressed with the Traverse, told him what I was willing to spend on a new vehicle and he came back with a price that was in the ball park. Told him I would return either Monday or Thursday/Friday. Went back Monday 04 Oct, got with David and took a test drive (both me and my wife). Bought the car right then. Additionally worked with Keith on the final sale paperwork. Entire experience was hassle free, as far as possible in this day and age with the endless paperwork, but Keith explained every piece of paper. Went back on Tuesday, 05 Oct and got the "nickel" tour of our new vehicle from Fred and we were on our way with a very beautiful piece of machinery. Thanks to all.

I went to a couple other dealerships in sacramento...including Paul Blanco dealership (which is supposedly supposed to be good for people who are really upside down in their current payment...or at least thats what they advertise), and i also went to carmax (i was making payments to them for the car i was driving and trying to trade in). You would think being a current customer of carmax at the time that they would go the extra mile to try and help me in any way possible to get into a truck, NOPE....WROOOONG!. It was almost an immediate shutdown at carmax, and the guy i talked to at Paul Blanco said that if i did a VOLUNTARY REPO and did their CREDIT TECH crap!!! that i would be able to get in a new car...but then again my credit would be ruined for 7 years as well as my wifes credit (she was my cosigner for the car). When i was turned down at Paul Blanco the guy said and i quote very specifically "anybody who said they are going to finance you is full of crap". Well Folsom Lake Chevy stepped up to the plate and hit a freakin home freakin run! Im so glad i got to go here and experience what a REAL REAL REAL REAL dealership is supposed to be all about. They were willing to work with me no matter what. Like it was their job to get me in a truck and not my job to try and convince them to let me get in a truck, and thats the key difference right there. Ill write the sentance again...Like it was their job to get me in a truck, and not my job to try and convince them to let me get in a truck. The sales dude, the 2nd manager guy, and the finance guy...1087516234067 thumbs up from me! I wish everybody would go to all these other crappy places first then goto Folsom Lake Chevy and you will IMMEDIATELY notice the difference. 2007 Impala with 98,000 miles. Transmission was slipping intermittently when starting out from dead stop. Chad and Leon did a great job troubleshooting and finding the problem. They had the parts in stock and were able to fix my car the same day. They replaced the Valve package under warranty at no cost to me. In addition I was impressed with the Dealer's waiting area. They had a laptop station which made it possible for me to work while waiting for my car to be repaired.

I purchased a used Mini Cooper. It was evident Folsom Cheverolet was not familiar with the particulars with this vehicle. They did follow through, but a few too many steps to make this happen.I rated this lower due to the number of visits that had to be made and when I purchased an extended contract I agreed to a term of 18 months for a monthly amount of $132.22. I then received a copy of my signed contract with the monthly term highlighted, crossed out and a new amount of 15 months added in. Also, the amount was highlighted and changed from the agreed upon amount of $132.22 crossed out and changed to $158.66. I question the legality of this action; no input was made other than the change via mail. when I called Folsom Cheverolet to question it, my only option was to cancel the extended contract. This was not an option in my opinion since we were in the process of using the extended warranty. I also question having to use the extended warranty when I was within the 30 day original purchase date. By using this contract, Folsom Cheverolet was paying for my $200.00 deductable; which was mostl likely less than what the service that was being covered would have most likely cost them; Neillo Mini Cooper was doing the work, not Folsom Cheverolet. Again, I question the ethics and legality of how this contract was changed without any prior approval from me.

I went in to purchase my daughter a car for college. Marty was very friendly and new that I came in for a very specific car I seen on Craig's list. I started off very unhappy with Folsom Chevy, I had already driven the other full sized trucks on the market and came in to look at the Silverado to see how it compared with the other brands. The salesman must have been starving because he pretty much pulled a credit app out of his pocket before he even shook my hand and asked me my name, needless to say we left. Luckily Keith goes into my wife's work every morning because when she told Keith what happened he was outraged, and luckily for us he took a personal interest in our experience. After talking with Keith and Tom on the phone, I decided to give Folsom Chevy another chance. Our purchase was not exactly an easy deal for Keith because we encountered pretty much every obstacle possible along the way from financial concerns to credit issues and even the truck we were interested in being sold by another dealership. I think it's funny how things work out, we started out reluctantly interested in purchasing a truck, and ended up buying a truck for me, and a Malibu for my wife. We are both very happy, and love our new vehicles, but I can honestly say that if Keith wouldn't have taken an interest in making us feel at ease, we would have purchased a truck elsewhere. Thank you Folsom Chevy, you have made us customers for life!Update: We purchased our vehicles late at night and the detail crew had already gone home, but Keith is so thorough that HE CALLED US to ask if we would be available in the next couple days to come in and have our vehicles detailed. Great service.

Folsom Chevrolet have great service, workmanship and are competitively priced.Ron Ronsselit in service is very attentive and respectful of your time. He has taken care of my New 2007 Tahoe Z71, since I bought it from Folsom Chevrolet. The best reason to take your vehicle here is they always fix the problems encountered and they always get it right even if it takes longer. I am always satisfied with the level of service and the end product I recieve from Ron and his back room team. They also cater to special requests for example I have always requested Fully Synthetic oil since the vehicle was new (even in a full size SUV) and they have also upgraded the braking system to my own specifications.Defintely would reccomend Folsom Chevrolet and Ron Rosselit in Service if your GM needs any service.

I brought my Corvette in for service because the Air Bag Trouble light was coming on occasionally. Sandy took all the information required by telephone when I made the appointment. When I got there all the paper work was done and I was on my way. When I came back to pick up my car, it was washed, looked great and performed great. What more could you ask for!

The have always been upfront and honest with their time, cost, and consideration for my buisness and I think they have gone out of their way to accomodate me every time. Rob and Bob worked with us to get an excellent price on our used pick up truck. There was no pressure and they were great to work with! I highly recommend this dealership especially for the service department. When I want my vehicle serviced I ask for Ron Rosselit because of his great customer service. He is very punctual in scheduling appointments and getting your car back to you in a timely manner. Ron communicates clearly with his customers about their vehicles status. He makes sure you are given a ride if needed when your vehicle is being serviced. Ron lets you know up front if there are any unforeseen issues other than what it was brought in for. I really like this so I am not surprised when I come to pick up my car. Ron is definitely an asset to the Folsom Chevrolet organization. Thanks Ron for your honesty each time I have my car serviced.

I had an unusually pleasant experience purchasing my car on 5/31/10. from the moment I arrived I was treated as if was a very important customer all through the process. it was unbelievable to say the least!!!
